Chapter 5

(Manor front)

Jaune was hugging Jessica with tears in his eyes. She softly stroked his hair, "I'm here Jaune." She said, "I'm with you. You want to talk about it?" Jaune nodded and they went into the Manor. He laid down on the couch and they started to talk.

Later, Nimueh and the others came in as they had seen Jessica with Jaune. Karen looked at her, "Jessica?" She said.

"Uh, hey everyone." She said.

"I'd ask what are you doing here, but I can see why." Said Nimueh.

"Yeah, we are doing a little soul-searching." Chuckled Jaune, "How's Clark doing?"

"Eh, the 'Boy Scout's recovering." Said Jason.

"Lois is talking to him," said Zatanna. "Having a heart to heart."

"I just got a case of beer in the fridge." Said Jaune as Jason went to the kitchen.

"So, let me guess." Said Karen, "You needed a little heart-to-heart with Jessica?"

"Yeah," Jessica wrapped her arms around him. They all sat down in the living room and talked. Jason cracked open a beer. "So, what does everyone think about the place?"

"This is a nice place." Said Raven. "I heard about your troubles."

"Yeah, you see, my ancestors were some of the greatest warriors ever. But, I think they didn't want me to be one. My father's excuse? 'We don't want you hurt', or 'This isn't a job for someone like you'."

They looked at him, "That is not his call." Said Hippolyta, "You wanted to make your family proud of you." He nodded, "Well if they aren't, then I am. You have been trying your best and that's all we can ask for." She hugged him and kissed him on the cheek.

(New Arcadia General)

Jaune and the others visited Clark to see if everything was alright. He and Lois were going to be released, the baby was doing fine so, they were relieved.

"Well," started Jaune. "That's good they were innocent, they deserve to live." Lois hugged him and kissed him on the cheek.

"Thank you for saving us." She said.

(Arc Manor, before the island leaves)

Clark, Lois, Bruce, and some of the others in the 'Injustice Verse' decided to have a going away party for Jaune and the others. "We like to once again," said Clark. "Thank the Arc Clan for helping us and saving Metropolis." He and Jaune shook hands.

Once the party was over, the Injustice heroes left, and the island went on its way. Jessica settled in a room to relax.

Nimueh went to the den to talk to Jaune. "So, where are we going now?"

"I don't know, we should just relax and enjoy the ride." He said the island continued on its way. Unknowing where the next fire that needs to be put out will be.

(Remnant, Vale, Beacon)

Ozpin was pacing in his office, "Where are you, Mr. Arc?" He muttered, just then a crow flew in a window. "Hello Qrow, what do you have for me?" The crow transformed into a man with graying black hair, and red eyes, and dressed like Charlie Sheen in '2 and a Men' with a cloak. He pulled out his flask and took a pull from it.

"Hey Oz," he said.

"What can you tell me?"

"Well, there was an island near Arcadia. Locals said the kid went there and it disappeared."

"Disappeared?

"Yeah, also rumor had it Nimueh was on the island." This shocked Ozpin.

"She was?"

"Rumor had it."

"And with what you told me. Both are gone." Qrow nodded. "Damn."

(New Arcadia)

Jaune was asleep on the couch, Karen was on the floor at his waist and Zatanna had her head on her lap. Sleep was coming fitfully to him, he was having a bad dream about him and Jessica fighting, she was a Yakuza Boss and he was a detective trying to get some answers to what was going on.

"No… please jess… don't." He mumbled, "come back…" Tears were flowing, "can't lose you." Karen looked over and started wiping his tears away.

"Sh, it's okay." She said, "get Jessica." Zatanna got up and went to get her.

(Kitchen)

Jessica was making dinner with Raven, Nubia, and Nimueh's help. Zatanna went into the room, "Jess! Jaune needs you!" They looked over to see what was going on.

"What is it?" She asked.

"We don't know, Sounds like he is having a nightmare." They go into the living room to see Karen comforting him.

(Living room)

"Sh, don't worry Jaune, Jessica loves you. We all do." She said.

"My fault… Yakuza got to Jess." He cried, and then Jessica came in, stroking his hair.

"Jaune wake up, sweetheart." She said. "It wasn't your fault." Jessica grabbed him and kissed him on the lips. Jaune slowly started to wake up and looked at her, she hugged him tightly. He held on to her for dear life, "I'm here Jauney. I'm here, I'll never leave you." They hugged tightly, and she stroked his hair.

"Do not worry Jaune," said Nimueh, "Everything will be alright. We all love you."

Raven smirked, "even Jason. In his own weird way." Jason glared at her, Jaune nodded and they settled down and helped Jaune heal and made him believe himself to be enough.

(Next day, just outside Atlanta's cost)

Jaune looked out and saw a big city, he had made a list of what they needed and sent the trucks. Jessica and Nimueh came up to them. "So, want to go into the city and take a look around?" Asked Jessica, Jaune nodded. So they got into a car and the three headed into the city.

(Kingdom)

Brodie and Candi Runnells were meeting With the rest of the 'Knightmare Clan'. As Brodi and David were drinking, just then they were told of an island that had showed up off the coast of the city. "What is it?" Asked Candi.

"An island had appeared off the coast." He said.

"A what?" Said Brodie.

"Is it Biotech again?" Asked the 'Head Coach'.

"My sources say, 'no'. But better safe than sorry." Said David.

"You want us to go and check it out, Coach? " asked a young man with short black hair who is a streamer. He wore a T-shirt, jeans, boots, a billed cap, and a vest. The 'Coach' was around 6 foot 5, built like a fire plug, in a T-shirt, blue sweat pants, trainers, and a windbreaker.

"No Tony," he said. "Caster?"

"Yeah, Coach?" Caster was in a 'Team Knightmare' basketball jersey, board shorts, knee-high socks, and hi-tops.

"Think you can find our guests?"

"I'll try Coach." With that, he took off.

(With Jaune, Nimueh, and Jessica)

The three were enjoying their tour of the city. Jaune and Nimueh were on a bike as Jessica flew overhead. "This city is vast." Said Nimueh.

"Yeah," said Jaune.

"Atlanta is one of the major cities on Earth." Said Jessica.

"Well, let's just go and take a look around and have some fun." Said Jaune, not knowing someone was watching them.
