Chapter 90: The Art of Waiting
September 21, 2010
Shortly before 10 AM in New York.
Fashionista Marc: I want to let everybody know we have just boarded the plane and will depart soon. Only 30 minutes late.
Cuddly Cliff: That's good. Jade already misses you.
London Betty: Amanda is happy you're coming. She misses you as well.
Fashionista Marc: I miss her too. I can't wait to see her again.
Fashionista Marc: Who decided to put Spencer and Daddy Tanen on the same flight? Especially with mommy Tanen having to stay behind because of work things.
Fashionista Marc: I already know this will be at least a three-drink flight. I didn't even think Amanda's parents were coming until November.
Boss Monique: That would be your assistant. Be nice.
London Betty: Daniel talked to Mr. Tanen last night about DJ's trust fund situation. He is not a forensic accountant, but he has almost 40 years of experience in hiding assets offshore. He is confident he will be able to find where the money is. Since he is retired, he decided to help us out.
Boss Monique: It's a good idea to bring him in. It might be best to keep things within the family for now.
Cuddly Cliff: Especially if it's anything that Victoria can use against the group.
Fashionista Marc: I could see her bankrolling DJ's grandparents custody suit.
Boss Monique: She absolutely would. She hates Alexis and Brianna and that would hurt both of them.
Fashionista Marc: I expect at least eight hours of parental posturing and arguing. However, I have articles from last week that I need to finalize.
Cuddly Cliff: Put on your headphones and ignore them. I've added a bunch of playlists to your iTunes library. You'll make it to London without repeating a song. Check out music to edit a magazine to.
Fashionista Marc: This is part of your efforts to move me beyond *NSYNC.
Cuddly Cliff: Yes. Mostly because Justin is an asshole. I have stories.
Monique: We all have stories.
Fashionista Marc: Cliff, as my life partner, you're obligated to share these stories with me. I want to hear everything eventually, but not now because I don't have the time. Before I am forced to cut off my phone, how is Amanda?
London Betty: Her heart rate is down, and the twins' vital signs are still good. But it's looking very likely she will deliver in the next day. Amanda and Daniel are looking through name books because they don't have a name yet.
Boss Monique: I know I don't have ground to stand on because I didn't have a name when Jamie was born, but unlike me, they've had more than three days to realize they were having a child. I thought Alex was on the shortlist already.
London Betty: Daniel keeps forgetting to ask his sister about it. They were so busy choosing the last name that they forgot the first name.
Cuddly Cliff: They chose a last name?
London Betty: It was decided that Tanen-Sommers-Suarez-Meade was too long of a surname for any child, even in the land of double-barreled last names. So, they picked two of the four names. Sommers-Suarez was the winner. I'm sure Papi is going to cry when he finds out.
London Betty: Don't say anything to him because I want to break the news myself.
Boss Monique: I won't say anything to any of your family members. I'll send the name list we compiled for Jamie.
London Betty:Thank you.
Fashionista Marc: I will also keep the news to myself. I gave Amanda some suggestions earlier, but I'll think of others while I referee Spencer and Mr. Tanen. I also won't tell any of them that neither surname will be passed on to the twins.
Monique: That would be best for your sanity. Good luck.
Fashionista Marc: I have to cut my phone off now, but I'll text when I land.
London Betty: Becks is picking you guys up from the airport.
Fashionista Marc: Good to know. Bye for now. Love you, Cliff.
Cuddly Cliff: Love you too. Be safe.
Boss Monique: I love it when my ship is happy and healthy.
Cuddly Cliff: We're trying to be. Betty, are you guys going to do a baby update text message chain?
London Betty: The consensus is not to because of security concerns. But feel free to send me all of your name suggestions. I have to text my dad and sister after this. I'll have DJ text Justin.
Boss Monique: Smart. Even with the burn phones, Victoria could have somebody watching us.
London Betty: Exactly. We met with the hospital security team about 30 minutes ago. They know to grab Victoria if she shows up at the hospital.
Cuddly Cliff: Good.
Boss Monique: We'll check in later.
London Betty: The doctor is back to check on Amanda, so I need to go.

Little sister: Alexis has an appointment with her doctor in 20 minutes, but do I need to fly down to Pennsylvania? Justin texted me and told me what was going on.
Little sister: Good thing I already know about Mandy; otherwise, my nephew would get an annoyed text message for not telling me something important.
Cal: No. I'll stay as long as I need to. It would be best if you focused on your girlfriend. The Europe trip can hold for a little while, or I can send my number two.
Little sister: I'm just going to give up on correcting the girlfriend thing. I'm just happy you're putting family first for once.
Cal: Because it's not a misconception. Alexis is your girlfriend. Lexi Junior told me she caught the two of you kissing last week.
Foster mom Vivian: Children behave. You're worse than my actual teenagers.
Foster mom Vivian: Brianna, you can stay in Cleveland. When Andie and Cal need to go back to New York, I'll go. My schedule is light enough that Monique and Mercedes can split my obligations. Even Antonella can do an event or two.
Little sister: You could send Matt to Pennsylvania. It would at least keep him distracted.
Foster mom Vivian: I want him to stay with Austin. Hilda, the mother of Austin's boyfriend, has also offered to go to Pennsylvania with her husband. He's self-employed and makes his own schedule. We have options. We don't need you to leave Cleveland right now.
Cal: What does self-employed mean?
Foster mom Vivian: He owns a Ferrari dealership. Or maybe an Audi dealership. I know for sure it's a luxury car dealership. I am probably buying Austin's 17th birthday present from him.
Little sister: OK he is self-employed by our standards.
Foster mom Vivian: Cal, do you have anything new to report from the PI team?
Cal: The locals are bristling at you bringing in your own people to help with the investigation. I think we are paying for the new library to help us smooth over ruffled feathers.
Cal: My girlfriend just informed me it's a generous contribution to the local free clinic—about half their annual operating budget.
Foster mom Vivian: This is probably less money than I'm spending on my ball gowns for winter fundraising season.
Little sister: You auction those gowns off, so it's less of a gross display of wealth.
Foster mom Vivian: It doesn't matter. It was worth the money. I'm just hoping they can tell us soon if that's Tiffany's body they found. I want to give Austin an answer.
Cal: How's the kid holding up?
Foster mom Vivian: He's trying to put on a brave front, which is exhausting because even I cried after having to do the police report this morning.
Little sister: We're they suspicious about you waiting to file the report?
Foster mom Vivian: No, because I told the detective I was waiting until my private investigator received the report on the handwriting analysis of the postcards we received. Once I got that back, I could tell them with certainty that we hadn't heard from Tiffany in over a month. Not only that, but somebody was actively pretending to be Tiffany to keep us from becoming suspicious. The investigators appreciated our thoroughness.
Cal: Good. When is your specialist getting there?
Foster mom Vivian: Later today. I am paying for at least two anthropology internships with nice housing in DC. However, getting an expert in the field with FBI experience is worth it.
Cal: That's probably for the best. I'll let you know when we have more.
Little sister: Keep me posted. I don't like being in Ohio with all this going on.

Unknown number: This is Cory. I got a phone from Vivian earlier. I thought it would be best to text you and Betty together. My passcode phrase is chocolate chip croissants with strawberry syrup.
Unknown number: How is Amanda doing?
Daniel: Amanda's water broke for baby A. Baby B is unbothered.
Sexy fiancé: Apparently, that happens sometimes. I've been googling a lot.
Player Cory: So, she'll be delivering soon?
Daniel: She's not dilated enough right now. If she didn't start leaking amniotic fluid during the middle of her appointment, we would still be at home. She's barely in the OK to deliver zone. We're still in the hurry-up and wait section of delivery. This is good because the New York contingent is probably only halfway through their flight.
Sexy fiancé: I promise to text when Amanda crushes Daniel's hand during the worst of delivery.
Sexy fiancé: As well as cursing Matt's existence.
Daniel: She's planning to curse you as well. This wouldn't have happened if we just got together in the Bahamas.
Player Cory: There's a story there.
Sexy fiancé: I was an idiot and completely denied my feelings for Daniel. I got back together with Matt in the Bahamas last year instead of getting together with Daniel. It was just too soon after losing Molly for us to really work or at least that's what I thought at the time.
Daniel: I don't think you were wrong about that. I needed a little more time for something requiring emotional commitment. Amanda didn't want me to rebound with anybody else after Molly died. So, when Matt got back together with Betty despite knowing she was in love with me, Amanda decided we would be friends with benefits again. This time, we were actually friends who had sex sometimes. She said it was necessary for my healing process. I don't think she was wrong, despite how things turned out.
Player Cory: Matt knew you were in love with Daniel but still got back together with you? Even though he already had feelings for Amanda?
Sexy fiancé: Yes, for a couple of months anyway. We didn't make it past January. I had a pregnancy scare in December which caused me to realize I did not want to raise a child with Matt. That was my wake-up call to the relationship never working. We were just not suitable for one another.
Daniel: I respect that you didn't want to raise a child with anybody.
Sexy fiancé: I can see myself raising kids with you, but I couldn't with anybody else. We're raising DJ together right now. Maybe Amanda's right. I'm going to be another parent to the twins. I just don't want to become pregnant, at least not for another five years. There's a difference.
Daniel: This is true. I'm okay with waiting until the twins are in kindergarten before having more children.
Daniel: How is Austin?
Sexy fiancé: Great subject change, honey.
Daniel: I do want to know how he's taking it.
Player Cory: Proofreading articles like there's no tomorrow. Or, in other words, not processing it. It was much like this yesterday as well. You wouldn't see anything wrong if you didn't know what was happening. I'm waiting for a crash soon.
Daniel: He's working?
Player Cory: Vivian allowed him to stay home, but Austin would rather stay busy. I mostly have him doing copy editing or research for the February issue.
Player Cory: As well as his English homework. He's actually in class right now. It probably will do him some good to spend some time with Antonella.
Player Cory: Unfortunately, Justin is offsite covering for Marc. That kid is too good and might be in charge in five years.
Daniel: Possibly less. My mom wants him to spend some time with her next semester.
Sexy fiancé: Does Stephanie know what's going on?
Player Cory: Matt told her today because Tiffany is now officially a missing person. She didn't know yesterday. I think we're going to tell Austin's team lead too. I'm slowly having Austin work with others outside of his big brother. I want to cover my bases when that goes public and I know it will sooner rather than later.
Daniel: This is such a mess.
Sexy fiancé: That poor child.
Player Cory: We've decided it's better if you text me Amanda updates. It adds another level of separation.
Daniel: Matt will be reading your phone anyway.
Player Cory: Exactly.
Daniel: [Image three attached]
Player Cory: Why is Amanda flipping off the camera?
Daniel: She did not want documented proof of her being in that hospital gown, but I promised Matt pictures.
Player Cory: That makes sense.
Sexy fiancé: Also, I am supposed to pass on to Matt that he can go fuck himself for not running to the corner drugstore for more condoms as he should have. I agree with Amanda there.
Player Cory: He says he's sorry but doesn't regret it.
Daniel: I don't either. However, I may feel differently after Amanda somehow manages to break my hand today.

Daniel remembered one of the many baby books he read saying that childbirth is a lot of waiting. He didn't quite believe it even after Brittany's delivery last month. Maybe that was because he was in another country, not in the room where he had very little to do besides go through the naming list and googling everything the doctor told them. Or at least he was until his regular personal phone died about 30 minutes ago. They didn't think to bring a charger; the hospital gift shop had nothing. He wasn't ready to venture outside the hospital yet.
Thankfully, around 7 PM, his assistant, nephew, and co-EIC walked into the hospital room with their go bags.
"I'm sorry we couldn't arrive earlier, but we brought food," Candy said, carrying a big bag of takeout from Daniel's favorite Italian restaurant in one hand and Amanda's giant hospital suitcase in the other. He's pretty sure Amanda brought an entire wardrobe to the hospital. DJ was carrying a cooler, likely containing some of the snacks from the house.
"Bless you," Daniel said as he grabbed the food. The smell of lasagna was appreciated since neither he nor Betty had anything besides some biscuits, a.k.a. cookies their nurse snuck in earlier. They were so busy with security they completely forgot about lunch.
"And you're go bags." Sumreen handed those to Betty. She quickly pulled the charger out and plugged in Daniel's dead cell phone. This is just another reason why he loves this woman.
"Thank you. We appreciate it. Especially since my phone is very dead." Daniel told the group.
"That explains the lack of reply," Candy mumbled.
"Thank you for bringing everything. I needed the robe that Christina made me. This hospital robe is so uncomfortable and itchy. It's also ugly. I have a reputation to maintain, especially because he keeps taking pictures. Which is why his phone died." Amanda pointed to Daniel. She looked annoyed, but that may be a contraction. They are now six minutes apart. They should be closer by this point, but as Amanda pointed out, she's never been normal, so why start now?
"That wasn't the phone I was texting Cory with. We agreed for me to document everything but the actual birth for Matt." Daniel explained.
"Yes, but I want to look pretty in all these pictures. I want Matt to know I'm the best thing he'll never have. Especially because you're sending them via the replacement boyfriend." Maybe Amanda isn't as cool about Cory as she appears, which Daniel has suspected for a while.
"You're always pretty," Candy said as she pulled Amanda's special robe out of the suitcase. It was a royal blue, which Daniel appreciated. There were also matching baby onesies and a blanket for them to take the babies home in. It was a very thoughtful baby gift. "However, I'm happy to ask Becks to retouch them."
"Yes," Amanda responded enthusiastically.
"That way, you'll be glistening instead of a sweaty mess, actually pushing a pineapple through your cervix," Sumreen commented sarcastically.
"I'll send him pictures later to retouch. I'll pay him his regular fee. We can also do a family photo shoot later." Daniel knows he will need pictures for the website, and he might as well take care of it himself like Monique did earlier. She's had several adorable photos of Jamie on her personal Twitter account, most of which were shot by Cliff or Antonella. The teenager doesn't think much of the fashion industry but likes photography and photo shoots as long as Megan is very far away.
"That's a great idea. PR will want shots." Sumreen commented, knowing too well he had very little privacy. He was surprised the paparazzi hadn't crashed yet. However, they are doing this under the last name of Sommer-Suarez, so that's probably helping—bonus points for potentially keeping Victoria away.
"Once the baby weight is gone, we can do that. At least ones where I'm in the picture." Amanda said just as Candy's phone went off. Candy groaned in annoyance as she saw who it was.
"Is Matt calling you?" Betty asked.
"No, it's Lindsey's assistant. They're trying to track down Betty because she didn't come into the office today. I've been inundated with calls all day. It got worse when you weren't at any of the shows today. I mentioned the doctor's appointment but didn't mention the hospital. Now I'm getting more calls." Candy groaned again as she denied the call.
"Betty quit last night, so I don't know why they expected her to come into the office today," Daniel explained to the group. DJ already knew but wasn't sure what details the others had. He knows Amanda texted a lot of people with the news, but that may have just been the New York team. He doesn't even remember everything he told his number two this morning. Amanda probably planned to tell the others in person after her doctor's appointment. Unfortunately, they never made it into the office.
"Lindsay wanted me to go to Barbados to take over for Victoria, who won't go to her job. I said no and quit. Which is good because I need to be here today." Betty placed her arm around Amanda and gave her a little hug.
"And I'm glad you're here. You are much better at rubbing my back." Amanda joked.
"Don't mention anything about Amanda being in labor," Daniel instructed. "It's too likely for Lindsay or his assistant to tell Victoria, and we don't want her to know until after the babies are delivered."
"Will do." Candy agreed.
"I will mention nothing tomorrow when I'm forced to sit next to him at various shows." his co-EIC remarked.
"Better than your ex-boss."
"This is true. I brought your laptop if you want to do anything work-related while here." His co-EIC passed him his work laptop. He's enjoying running a magazine with somebody who works with him, not against him. It's been a good experience.
"Labor takes a while, so I might be able to edit the next issue while here." Daniel joked. "But more likely, we're just going to watch movies."
"That's what the second laptop is for. I also brought a stack of DVDs." Candy gave the second pink sparkling laptop bag to Betty. That obviously belongs to Amanda.
"You are the best roommate." Amanda smiled at Candy.
"Hey, I thought I was your best roommate."
"It is much easier to be a roommate with somebody in an eight-bedroom house with separate wings." Even Betty nodded her head at Amanda's explanation. "However, you are my best female friend."
"I accept," Betty said as his phone chimed from the table. At least it was charging enough to get messages again, which was good.
"Is Mom texting you?" DJ asked as Daniel walked over to where his phone was charging. He quickly sat down on the couch as he grabbed his phone. He kept it plug-in because it was only at 6%.
"That's your mom's text message tone. Let me check her message." Daniel said just as DJ moved closer. He hopes this is good news because he's sure the teenager is looking over his shoulder.

Big sister: My doctor's appointment went well. I am responding to the new treatment. I'm seeing her again in a month. If all goes well, we will definitely be back in Paris for good by January.
Daniel: That's good. DJ is here and may have seen that text message, so I'm glad it's positive. He likes to read my text messages over my shoulder.
Big sister: That's definitely my kid. I am glad it's positive as well. This means we will come for Christmas in London.
Big sister: Brianna told me that Amanda is sort of in labor. How can you sort of be in labor?
Daniel: Amniotic fluid leaking all night, but Amanda's water fully broke about 45 minutes ago, right about the time my phone died. And that's only for one twin.
Daniel: Thankfully, my assistant just arrived with the charger and DJ. I'm now at 8%.
Big sister: Are the babies and Amanda OK?
Daniel: Everybody's vital signs are good. However, we're meeting with the doctor to discuss the next steps once the visitors are gone.
Big sister: That's positive. What have you been doing while waiting?
Daniel: Mostly trying to figure out names for the twins. We thought we would have another month, but we were wrong, and now we're scrambling for names.
Big sister: I'm not surprised. Do you have a short list?
Daniel: I want one of the twins to have the name Alex or some variation, but I wanted to check in with you first.
Big sister: So, you want the universe to have another Alex Meade? It didn't work out so well for the last one.
Daniel: Alex Sommer-Suarez. I feel it's my duty not to bring more Meads into the world.
Daniel: At least ones biologically related to Bradford. Tyler can start the new Meade line.
Big sister: So you're really dropping the Meade name?
Daniel: I'm not passing it on to the twins, at least. The plan is to hyphenate as Meade-Suarez after the wedding, but I'm switching the name now. DJ wants to change his as well. I was tempted to drop Meade altogether, but it's been pointed out to me by several of my female colleagues that it's better to keep my "maiden name" professionally, at least.
Big sister: That is true. I considered switching to Mom's maiden name but decided against it. Partially because you know how much she hated her father because we come from a long line of alcoholics. Being a Mead has at least come in handy now that I'm doing freelance work.
Daniel: At least the name has finally done something good for you. Thankfully, the freelance work is something you can do while in Cleveland.
Big sister: This is true. I've done about four novels while here.
Daniel: That's good. Do you ever do children's books?
Big sister: The closest I've done is a YA high school novel, where I gave the writer about 200 different notes regarding their background transgender character. Thankfully, the writer used most of them.
Daniel: It's good that they listen to you. Betty has been working on books for the kids.
Big sister: I know. DJ has been sending me snippets. They're pretty good, and I can't wait until Junior gets her copy. Let Betty know I'm happy to lend my editing services.
Big sister: I will. I'm trying to convince her to send it to a publisher now that Betty quit her job last night.
Daniel: Although the boss hasn't gotten that memo yet. He's calling me now.
Big sister: There is a story there.
Daniel: Another time.
Big sister: Yes, you can have Alex as the baby's name. However, I prefer if baby girl Sommer-Suarez gets the name. Alex Meade has a complicated legacy to live up to. Even I couldn't do it.
Daniel: That was Amanda's preference anyway. She was pushing for Alejandra after Betty suggested changing your name to Spanish. Although, now we have to work on the middle name. Betty thinks I should go with Molly, and Amanda agrees. I'm not sure.
Big sister: I like Alejandra. It was actually on my shortlist before I settled on Alexis. Alejandra Molly Sommer-Suarez is a good name, and when she goes by Alejandra M. Somers-Suarez, people can assume that the M is for Meade.
Daniel: This is true. I like Alejandra too instead of going with Alexandra. Alex can still be a nickname. You're right about not being able to live up to a legacy. Our children should get to create their own identity.
Big sister: Especially after the last two ended up as juniors. Let's avoid that. Is Bradford on the name list?
Daniel: No. I even removed Brad and Bradley from the list. Amanda got mad at me for that, but she understands. Nothing close to Bradford is being considered.
Big sister: Thank the universe for that.
Big sister: Good luck in picking the name. Keep me posted. Congratulations on the twins' baby brother. I can't wait to meet them. Expect balloons soon.
Daniel: I can't wait to meet them either. I'll text you when your new niece and nephew get here.
Xxx
A few hours later
Justin: I heard you'll be a big brother again soon. I'm only a little upset no one texted me this morning.
DJ: Sorry, it's been chaos today with the twins and fashion week. I had to go to a show with Charlotte this afternoon to keep Victoria from realizing that Amanda is in labor.
Justin: I'm sure you hated that.
DJ: So very much. Thankfully, it was the one where Victoria got in a fight with Monique's aunt. I've discovered that fashion shows are better when I'm not on the runway.
Justin: It's a unique experience. However, your stepmom is very kind, so I probably had a different experience than you did.
DJ: Definitely.
Justin: What is the latest on Amanda?
DJ: Per Daniel, it will still be a while before Amanda delivers. He said something about only being dilated 3 cm and she might need medical intervention if this goes on too long. I turned things out after that. So, I don't expect a "the twins are here" text message until tomorrow morning.
Justin: That was for the best. Antonella said she was scarred for life with too many details regarding Jamie's birth, mainly from Brittany after the fact. Thankfully, Antonella was at the hotel most of the time. Are you at the hospital?
DJ: Not right now. I am staying over at R's house for the next few days when I'm not working.
Justin: This is better than being at the hospital the entire time.
DJ: This is true. We just returned from dropping off everybody's go bags about 90 minutes ago.
DJ: And food because the hospital food was bad and very British.
DJ: Extra British. Nothing tasty in sight. Although they got Italian and I got homemade Pakistani food when we got to the house.
DJ: Also, homemade Pakistani food is the best food.
Justin: Coming from a Frenchman, that's high praise.
DJ: How is Austin doing?
Justin: He's very quiet. At least that's what lunch was like. Antonella said he was the same way in classes.
DJ: You did not have classes together today?
Justin: I had to oversee a shoot for Marc during our regular class time. It went well. Because of that, I spent the rest of my day alone with Stephanie, catching up on everything I missed during fashion week. The others are off elsewhere doing their jobs.
DJ: And you still have your cell phone?
Justin: Monique and Matt explained the situation to Stephanie today. I get to keep it in case I need to check on Austin.
DJ: Or me.
Justin: I am checking on the birth of my cousins. This is very important.
DJ: True.
Justin: How do you feel about getting new siblings?
DJ: Strange, but happy that you're considering the twins my siblings and not my cousins.
Justin: We all understand that Daniel is your dad or at least a dad figure.
DJ: Amanda bought me a book about getting new half-siblings.
Justin: She's very thoughtful when she wants to be.

Fashionista Marc: The plane just landed, and I can text message again.
London Betty: Good. Becks is still picking everybody up and dropping you off at the hotel. He should be waiting in the pickup area. I gave him your number to coordinate the pickup directly.
Fashionista Marc: Not the hospital? It might be almost midnight here, but we are still on New York time.
London Betty: Amanda is now dilated 4 ½ centimeters. It's doubtful that the babies will be born before morning unless something happens and we have to do a cesarean. Besides, an across-ocean flight is exhausting.
Fashionista Marc: You just had to mention the possibility of an emergency cesarean. That makes me want to come to the hospital.
London Betty: If that does happen, I will send someone to grab you out of the hotel. You're staying at a Wyndham West property.
Cuddly Cliff: Jade's mom was in labor for 32 hours. Rest when you can.
Fashionista Marc: I'm not going to be able to talk the dad contingent into not going to the hospital, especially when I want to go there.
London Betty: This is Mandy. Betty just passed the phone to me. I don't want to see anybody else until after the babies are born. But I know that's not gonna happen, so can we at least wait until morning.
Fashionista Marc: Even me?
London Betty: I always want to see you, but somebody has to keep my parents from showing up, and that has to be you.
Fashionista Marc: That is so unfair.
London Betty: I have to squeeze two pineapples out of my kitty cat. Tough. I get to determine the guest list.
Fashionista Marc: Comments like that make me want to go to the hospital more, not less.
London Betty: Marcus is on the baby name shortlist. However, it will fall off if you don't do this for me.
Fashionista Marc: Fine. But I'm going to be there first thing in the morning. I'm leaving the dads to fend for themselves for breakfast.
Boss Monique: I think my mom arranged for concierge service for the dads. I'll see if somebody can keep them distracted until the twins are born.
London Betty: Thank you.
Boss Monique: How are you?
London Betty: I wish my body would hurry up and dilate. But the more time they stay with me the better.
Boss Monique: I am pretty sure Tiffany felt that by hour seven.
London Betty: I'm pretty sure she was more dilated than I am by this point in her labor. I can still type a coherent text message. I am sure I'll still be at this point when my fathers show up in the morning despite our best efforts.
Cuddly Cliff: Possibly. Again, Jody was in labor for a day and ½.
London Betty: She deserves all the pain, but I don't. Did everybody behave on the plane?
Fashionista Marc: No, not at all. We should've got those two in a room together before crossing the ocean on a plane with lots of alcohol. I'm glad we were in first class alone, and nothing will end up on TMZ. We all have separate hotel rooms, correct?
Boss Monique: Yes. Everything is under a fake name to keep Vicki from figuring things out. Tamika should text you shortly. Even I don't know what it is.
Fashionista Marc: Thank you.
London Betty: Although you could stay in my room at the house or a guest room. Sorry, the guest house is occupied by Monique's aunt right now.
Boss Monique: Tamika just told me she fought with Matt's mom at a show today. I'm sending pictures. I love my aunt.
Fashionista Marc: Send me those pictures as well. I'll consider staying at Candy and Amanda's house. The dads are slowly driving me crazy.
London Betty: I'm just happy they came.
Fashionista Marc: We'll see you in the morning.
To be continued…

Yes, this is kind of a crossover with Bones right now, but I'm not going to say anything specific.
