To their surprise , Maria Arusu, the AI Spirit of the battleship, was back! It seemed that she wasn't destroyed by her, and now, she could be of service again!
And so, after some journey, they managed to find what they were looking for, and something pleasantly surprising emerged: It allowed them to send living organisms through timelines! In other words, they could save Shido and everyone's lives!
Of course, there would be butterfly effects involved if such deeds were to become a reality, so they had to make amends to their plans over and over again, much to Beast Tohka's dismay.
After some time, they finally managed to deploy the mission.
Adult Kurumi shot both Beast Tohka and herself with the 12th bullet, sending themselves to the past timeline where Shido was still alive. Her consideration was clear: Just having Beast Tohka wasn't enough for a fail-safe plan, one more person by her side would be much safer.
