Watson Chp.1: Depart/Reunite

At the Cemitério de Vila Formosa, within the city of São Paulo, Alexander Watson stood over a grave with a single rose in one hand, and a purple and gold urn in the other. Inside the urn was his deceased father's ashes. He knelt down and placed the rose in front of the tombstone before standing back up.
"I hope I'm making you proud," he said.
He looked down at the tombstone that read 'Yara D. Cardoso March 19, 2001 - June 25, 2020.' He soon turned around and walked away. He looked down at the urn in his hands.
"It's time to see mom now," he said.
While controlling his tears, Watson soon found his mother's grave, with the tombstone reading 'Catherine Rotundo-Watson May 26, 1967 - May 12, 2020' and upon reaching it, Watson deposited the ashes on her grave, symbolizing the spiritual union.
"Mom, I hope you are really proud of me, I have united both you, and father, and sure, you did not like when I played violent games, but by god, sometimes, you really wanted to protect me against the world," Watson said.
He places the urn down in front of the tombstone and looks down at the gravesite of his deceased parents.
"Goodbye, Mom and Dad. I hope to see you both again in another life," Watson said.
He took one last look at the gravesite before he turned around and walked away.
Sousa Residence
Later at a home within the suburbs, Lucas Sousa was sitting on the sofa in the living room, watching an episode of Invincible. The front door opened as Watson stepped inside and closed the door behind him. Lucas turned his head to see Watson approaching.
"Hey, buddy," Lucas greeted. "How was the visit with Yara? And reuniting your parents?"
"It went fine. It was quiet and peaceful," Watson answered as he sat on the sofa next to his friend to watch the show.
The two sat in silence for a while watching the television. Eventually, Watson finally spoke to Lucas.
"Thanks for convincing your parents to let me stay at your place, Lucas," he said.
"It's no problem, Watson. After your father died, the rent to your home couldn't be paid for, which led to the bank eventually repossessing it. I'm sorry," Lucas said.
"It's okay. I'm at least grateful to be here," Watson said.
"Some stuff had happened here in Brazil ever since you had gone to Beacon Academy. Our president had been killed in a Grimm attack," Lucas said.
"Wait, what about the vice?" Watson said.
"Dead too, from what TV Globo said that emergency elections will occur, and from Reddit, it's suggested that a UHL representative will be on the presidential run. Heck, in his plans, he plans on having the USA join BRICS," Lucas explained.
"So who's the guy?" Watson asked.
"His name is Alexandre Pereira Carvalho da Silveira. He was a teacher before getting into politics from what I heard," Lucas answered.
"I did hear about him, though I am more confused as to why he got the representative spot towards the UHL. Any other candidates?" Watson asked.
"Well, the usual, Lula, recently got out of jail, and wants to rebuild Brazil, Ciro and Simone wishes to remade Brazil in their image, a shady guy who wants to end crime, though conspiracy theories are suggesting that he was from manual drug ring, and, which I see will leave you angry. Lion and White formed central and are running as a dual presidency. Now calm down, they have minimal chances to win, as they only done their campaign on the Youtube, and they refused to appear on public television, as they think, or at least, Lion thinks, that public TV is too infectious with woke propaganda, most of their 800 thousand supporters, who are disgruntled teens, might not have them on second turn" Lucas said, with Watson kind of chuckle out of it.
"Imagined that they won, the whole country would have turn into something Homelander would have built if he ran towards presidency" Watson said, before turning his head to face the readers. "And yes, I know Season 4 had Homelander winning over the presidency, and sorry for the spoiler, but by our time, Season 4 has not occur, so think of it as foreshadowing."
"Who are you talking to?" Lucas asked.
"Nothing, just ignore it," Watson waved off. "So is there anything else that happened while I was out?"
"Well all those back at school found out about your acceptance at Beacon Academy, and were hoping to hang out with you at some point when you got back," Lucas answered, which Watson scoffed angrily.
"Oh, please. They probably only want to hang out with me now because I've become a Huntsman in training and are akin to superheroes in a way. Like I ever want to hang out with all those douchebags after all that they did to me back then. They've made their choice a long time ago, just like how I've made mine," he said.
"Easy Watson, some of them might have changed, but I get it" Lucas said, soon looking out the window, seeing three people coming towards them. "I think your friends have arrived, a lime haired girl, a buff guy, and a silver haired dude."
Upon hearing this, Watson got up from the sofa and approached the window. To his surprise upon looking out the window, he saw Emerald Sustrai, Mercury Black, and Hazel Rainart. Watson sprints towards the front door and opens it up to greet the three guests.
"Watson!" Emerald exclaimed.
"Guys!" Watson greeted.
Emerald ran up to Watson and slammed into him wrapping her arms around him. Upon impact, the two fall back to the floor, with Emerald being on top of Watson. The two didn't seem to care as their lips locked on to each other. Hazel gave out a slight chuckle while Mercury rolled his eyes.
"Geez, get a room, you two," Mercury said.
"What are you all doing here? Watson asked.
"Emerald, missed you deeply. We requested to come see you," Hazel answered.
"Thanks guys, well, you're gonna love São Paulo... even though I have lost my family, and former girlfriend, but it's still home nonetheless," Watson said.
Watson and Emerald both got up off the floor as Watson looked back at her, Hazel, and Mercury.
"Come on inside," Watson said.
Everyone entered inside through the door as Watson closed it behind them. Lucas looked up and widened his eyes in surprise upon realizing who the three guests were.
"Oh, you must be Lucas," Mercury said.
"And you must be the pirate legged silver warrior" Lucas said, with Watson giving a chuckle, and Emerald scoffing with a bit of annoyance.
"Please, don't say that, why does everyone call me that?!" Mercury shouted.
"Probably because of your hair color, your choice of fashion, and your prosthetic legs... pirate legged silver warrior," Watson answered, still chuckling as Mercury crossed his arms in annoyance.
"Fuck you," Mercury muttered.
"How are things going with you, boy?" Hazel asked.
"It was lonely for the both of us," Watson answered, gesturing to himself and Lucas.
"So this is your friend here?" Emerald asked, pointing at Lucas.
"Emerald, Hazel, Mercury, this is Lucas Souza, my only friend in life prior to getting my aura unlocked" Lucas soon shook Hazel and Emerald's hand, Mercury begrudgingly shaking hands with him.
"Well, Ms. Sustrai, you are very beautiful, glad Watson chose you as your girlfriend," Lucas said.
"Thank you, Lucas," Emerald replied.
"So do you guys have a place to stay?" Lucas asked.
"We booked a couple of hotel rooms. One for Emerald, and one for me and Mercury," Hazel answered.
"Sorry Merc, but emerald is not free, unlike what the ship says," Watson joked around, laughing for it, with Mercury raising his middle finger at him.
"What do you plan on doing now that you're back here?" Hazel asked.
"I'll have to get a job. Since I don't have a home anymore, I'm stuck in Lucas' place until I go back to Beacon for another school year, since my home has been repossessed," Watson answered.
Emerald, finding this news, would hug Watson, trying to not make him cry, with Hazel speaking.
"Well, your Huntsman status could allow you to work in some business, like security work, army advisor, that sorta stuff," he said.
"That's true, Hazel. But right now I can't because I'm not licensed yet, or very least, I need permission from either the government or a licensed Huntsman to do those kinds of jobs. It would be a miracle to get a job like those," Watson said.
"Well, good luck job hunting then," Mercury said.
"Why don't we help you out with that tomorrow?" Emerald offered.
"Sure, that'd be helpful," Watson replied.
"Things will look up for you, Watson. Start counting on it," Emerald said, hugging him from behind and kissing him on the cheek.
"It's to see you guys again," Watson said, looking back at his girlfriend.
Author's Note: Here's how the pattern of chapters will go throughout Team JAAR Vacation Tales; Watson, Azumi, Jesse & Jacket, and repeat. There may be times that I will put each chapter down for each of them at once. I'm trying to get through with this three-in-one story as quick as possible so we can get to RWBY and Earth IV. I know you're all eager to get to it, but so am I, so I want to get this done as quick as possible. And as usual, a new chapter will be put up every Saturday, and on special occasions.
And fun fact, normally I would usually write this stories by myself, but this is the first time I am co-writing these chapters with my other partners, so take note that not all of this is my writing.
