'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!'

Deep inside the landscape of Malachite Plasmius, Lapis Lazuli screamed in agony, feeling the electricity much worse than either Jasper or Vlad.

'Wow, look at that!'

Suddenly everything seemed to freeze and the three parts of the fusion watched as Bill Cipher appeared before them.

'I mean, good Old Sammy finally lets you go and now you're…getting a zap!' Cipher laughed.

"Help us now!" Jasper shouted. "You promised to free us!"

'Sheesh, take a dip in the water and chill out, Stripey. I'm in fact here to carry my end of the deal.' Bill rolled his eye. 'So, you guys ready?'

"NO!" Lapis shouted, trying to summon her powers but could do nothing.

'Sorry, Tear Drop but since you decided you don't want to help you can't do much of anything. Actually…' Bill snickered. 'Since I made a deal with two thirds of the Fusion I think I can decide a few changes for you Now then...'

On Vlad and Jasper's hands appeared blue flames, the very flames that appear when Cipher makes his deals. The flames travel through the chains, engulfing all three parts of Malachite Plasmius and they scream in pain as a result. Lapis screamed as she felt a deep pain in her back followed by the sound of something beating in her chest while a blue light appeared on Vlad's back while black rings appeared around Jasper before splitting with one traveling down to her feet and the other up to her head. Vlad shifted to his human form before turning into blue light that was forced into a gemstone resembling Lapis' stone.

Jasper's skin turned a shade of blue; her teeth gaining pointed fangs, her hair turned black while her body suit became white, consisting of white trousers and a white long-sleeved shirt covered in black gloves. Her shirt is connected via a black belt and stems up to her neck. There was a black collar on her shirt and she wore black boots. Finally, she accessorized with a high collar cape connected around her neck that had a white exterior and a red interior lining.

In the meantime Lapis' blue skin turned pale peach while her gemstone vanished.

Bill Cipher laughed through the entire change. 'Wow. This is one heck of a make-over! You guys should look yourselves in the mirror…Eh, I am sure you will.'

"In all honesty, I pictured a lot worse."

The Hall of Heroes had been, for the lack of a better word, trashed. Pieces of drones littered the halls and rooms.

Luckily no one was injured but that wasn't the issue.

The issue would be one of the guests holding the hammer of Thor in his hands.

"Valhallen is never going to believe this." Major Glory muttered.

"LAPIS!" The boy named Steven ran up to the young slim woman in the major's arms. "And Jasper! And...why does Lapis look human?"

The Gem formerly known as Lapis Lazuli now looked like a human version of herself, her hair black, slightly pale skin while her dress remained the same despite all the changes.

"You know this person?" Major Glory said, gesturing to the unconscious former Gem.

"Yeah…" Steven nodded. "Only she's not supposed to be human."

Xxx

"Lapis is human now?"

Steven couldn't believe it.

And yet here was Lapis herself, lying on the bed in front of him and looking entirely human. After weeks of trying to find her and free her from Malachite here she was and yet something was very wrong. Her gemstone was being analyzed and from what Garnet could tell it was functioning perfectly…

Without Lapis!

It was almost as if Lapis had been completely replaced with something else now inside her gemstone.

"It seems that way." Garnet said, holding Lapis' gemstone. "And yet, her gemstone still harbors the essence of a Gem."

"But how?" Steven wondered. "How is Lapis a human now? And if she's out here then who…" Steven looked at the gemstone. "Is in there?"

"I don't know but we will keep a close eye on both." Garnet said, placing a hand on Steven's shoulder.

"…I wish Pearl was here." Steven uttered out loud.

Xxx

When she finally awoke, she felt very, very strange. There was the strange feeling of something beating in her chest and when it caused her to worry it became more rapid to the point she shot up in bed with a frightened yelp.

"Lapis!" A very familiar voice said next to her.

"Steven?"

Sure enough, there he was, smiling very happily at her. "I am so glad you're awake and not fused with Jasper anymore."

"I'm…I'm not fused anymore." Lapis said slowly, looking down at herself and noticing something wrong. "Steven, what happened? Why do I look so strange?"

"Well, Lapis it's…" Steven awkwardly rubbed the back of his head. "It's because you're…Human."

Lapis just stared at the boy. "What?"

"You're Human now." Steven answered a bit louder.

"That's…That's impossible." Lapis shook her head. "I am Gem. I can't be Human. I can…" Lapis' eyes widened in horror and realization. "BILL CIPHER!"

"WHAT?!" Steven jumped out of his chair. "You know Bill Cipher?!"

"Yes I-Wait, you know him too?" Lapis stopped mid-sentence and asked.

"Yeah, he tricked and fused with me and almost made me kill all my friends!" Steven cried at the mention of that not so pleasant memory.

"He fused with you?!" Lapis exclaimed. "But he's not a Gem!"

"And he made you a Human!" Steven pointed back at Lapis.

Lapis did indeed look fully human now. She got up and walked to a mirror, seeing her reflection for the first time. She had light tanned skin, almost as tanned as Steven's with her dress a mix of grey and black now with her hair completely black while her eyes thankfully remained blue.

She placed her hand on the glass, staring in complete shock at herself before she turned around and gasped. "My gemstone…"

It wasn't there.

She wasn't a Gem anymore.

She was a Human.

"Lapis, I know you are scared but I need you to tell me about Bill." Steven grasped Lapis' hand softly.

Just the mere touch of Steven's hand seemed to calm Lapis down as he led her back to the bed and sat down. "We…He showed up and offered to free us from each other. Me, Jasper and that other thing…I think his name was Vlad."

"Vlad?" Steven questioned.

Lapis nodded, the memories coming back. "He was…something else. He tried to take over Malachite, but Jasper and I fought back and then…We latched onto him and somehow, he fused with us, gaining all of his powers. It was too much to handle, they both started fighting for control and pushed me down. I couldn't hold Malachite back anymore."

"So that's why Malachite was so powerful when it attacked Beach City. It was this Vlad guy." Steven realized and continued questioning. "What did Bill do?"

"He just offered a way for all of us to be free of each other. I said no because I didn't trust him but Vlad and Jasper, they said yes." Lapis shivered as a sudden cold air swept over her. "Then when Malachite defused, I saw him again and then…I don't remember anything else."

Steven softly padded Lapis on the back. "Hey, we'll find out what happened. We're with the Justice Friends so they might know what happened."

"The who?"

Xxx

"I am not sure I am ever going to be used to this."

Lapis felt cold which turned out to be something she did not like feeling. It didn't help that the clothing she had been wearing didn't cover much.

Not to mention that she was even going commando underneath her flowing skirt.

"Don't worry, Lapis. I know it seems weird but being human isn't that bad." Steven said, holding the former Gem's hand as he and his dad led through the Hall of Heroes. "I'll do whatever I can to help you feel comfortable as a human. Right, dad?"

"Oh, right." Greg chuckled nervously. "Uh…Maybe we should find a woman to talk about the…important stuff."

Xxx

Garnet entered the holding area of the Hall of Heroes, stopping in front of Jasper's cell and growled when she saw the orange Gem had already regenerated. Her cell was full of dent marks, showing she had tried to escape through brute force but surprisingly the cell had managed to hold. Nearby, Tats, Woodpecker Guy, Sprott and Toby Determined sat in their cells.

Jasper turned around, glaring at the sight of Garnet. "Well, well, look who's here. What do you want?"

"The Cluster." Garnet answered. "You were here for the Cluster."

Jasper scoffed as she turned around. "Officially but I only came back to finish off you wretched rebels. Though I'll admit I was looking forward to seeing this worthless shell of a planet turn to dust by Yellow's new pet."

Garnet slammed her fist into the wall next to the cell. "How dare you and the rest of Homeworld treat them like this?! How dare you treat fusion like this?!"

Jasper threw her head back and laughed. "And what's got you all twisted up, fusion? Took a second to realize what an abomination you are?"

"We are no abomination! I am the ultimate expression of love between two Gems! Their love is what makes me feel whole!" Garnet growled.

Jasper scoffed in pure disgust. "You're a sick and twisted form, disgracing the two forms of the Gems you were made from. Fusion is simply a weapon to make weak Gems stronger. It has nothing to do with love." Jasper spat at the floor. "You don't even know the meaning of love. What would a pair of cowardly traitors know about love?"

"A LOT MORE THAN YOU!" Garnet shouted, her 'Ruby' side showing. "You and Homeworld are nothing than a bunch of shatterers who hate love!"

Jasper narrowed her eyes. "We're the shatterers? That's rich coming from a pawn of that coward Rose Quartz! She started the war, she shattered thousands of loyal Gems and she shattered my Diamond! You traitors go against everything true Gems live for and are made to do."

She was so angry she did not notice the ring of black light form around her.

"You self-absorbed cowards took away my planet! My court! My colony! All of it just to satisfy your own selfish needs!" Jasper bellowed as the black light split into two rings, traveling to her head and feet.

Garnet gasped Jasper literally transformed before her very eyes.

"YOU CLAIM TO KNOW MORE ABOUT LOVE WHEN ALL YOU HAVE DONE IS MURDER AND DESTROY EVERYTHING I LIVE FOR!?" Jasper shouted, her voice releasing a powerful blast that shattered the energy wall keeping her confined and sent Garnet crashing into the wall. "…What the?"

She looked down at herself and noticed she had completely changed. Her skin turned a shade of blue; her teeth gaining pointed fangs, her hair turned black while her body suit became white, consisting of white trousers and a white long-sleeved shirt covered in black gloves. Her shirt is connected via a black belt and stems up to her neck. There was a black collar on her shirt and she wore black boots.

Finally, she accessorized with a high collar cape connected around her neck that had a white exterior and a red interior lining.

"What has happened to me?" Jasper wondered as everything around her turned grey and froze. "Now what?"

"Well, well, well." In a flash of blue fire, Bill Cipher appeared in front of the altered Gem. "I see you noticed my gift to you. If you thought you were bad before, Stripey wait till you see what you can do now."

"What did you do to me? I look like that…human with the strange powers!" Jasper realized.

"Yep, I did a little switcher-o." Bill chuckled. "And gave his powers to you. You remember how strong you were with those powers when you all meshed up with him and Tear Drop? Well, now you got the full package with none of the dead weight. You're probably more powerful than the rest of the walking shards you want to smash. So, why not give it a test drive?"

Jasper held up her hand, gathering purple energy into it…and grinned as her now red eyes glowed malevolently. "Yeah…I want to test them out."

"Then let's get back to the show." Bill laughed as vanished into blue fire and Jasper returned to the waking world.

Just as Garnet got back up she had time to see a flash of purple…

Xxx

BOOM!

The building suddenly shock from what sounded like an explosion.

"What in the stars was that?" Pearl asked, steadying herself.

Xxx

Garnet was blasted through several walls, slamming into a wall of pure steel before she slid down to the ground with a loud grunt. She had landed in what appeared to be an underground hangar, complete with an advanced looking airship.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!"

Garnet looked up, watching as Jasper hovered through the holes that she had blasted her through and landed right in front of the fusion.

"Just when I thought things couldn't get any better for me." Jasper held up a purple glowing hand. "That triangle really knew how to deliver."

"Triangle?" Garnet whispered in confusion.

"Now I am going to play with you for a little bit before I tear you apart, Gem by Gem." Jasper clenched that glowing hand into a fist. "Then I'll hunt down the defective Pearl, the puny runt and I'll save Rose Quartz for last."

"You won't touch him!" Garnet shouted, charging at Jasper and raised her fist.

However, when she sent her fist forward, she passed right though Jasper who became transparent. Garnet tripped and fell face first onto the floor. Jasper laughed as she turned around, becoming solid again and grabbed Garnet by the foot.

"Come on. I'm just getting started." Jasper said as she picked Garnet up and slammed her back down onto the floor

SLAM!

SLAM!

SLAM!

SLAM!

Jasper finally released Garnet by flinging her back into the wall, hard enough she left a large dent on impact. "You are pathetic. To think I ever lost to pair of Gems leeching off each other for self-worth. I've met Pebbles with better stones than you."

Garnet was in rough shape as she staggered to her feet, glowing through her cracked visors. "What have you done?"

"This?" Jasper smirked as she looked down at herself. "Well, there is one benefit on this planet. It knows how to make real Gems stronger. When I am done with you, I'll see if I can share this power with rest of Homeworld. We'll be the strongest in the entire universe." Jasper held up a fist and clenched. "No one will ever stand in our way. Not you, not Rose, NO ONE!"

"GARNET!"

Jasper turned around, grinning as Steven, Pearl along with Major Glory, Capital G and White Tiger run into the hangar. "Rose, just who I was hoping to see."

"Jasper!?" Pearl pulled out her spear. "What happened to you?!"

"I got an upgrade, one that doesn't need the likes of fusion." Jasper chuckled, looking at Steven. "So, Rose. Ready to carry on where we left of?"

Steven trembled slightly but summoned his shield. "We don't want to fight you."

"No." Jasper's grin widened. "You really don't."

She fired a purple beam of light that impacted the shield with such force it sent Steven flying back, hitting the wall behind him.

"GAH!" Steven cried out upon hitting the wall.

"STEVEN!" Pearl cried out.

Garnet roared and lunged at Jasper who flew up, jumping over the fusion and blasted her in the back.

Jasper cackled as Garnet hit the floor with a scorch mark smoking on her back. "Oh, this is too easy! I almost actually feel sorry for you!"

"That's enough!" Major Glory stepped forward, glaring up at the ghostly Gem. "Stand down now!"

Jasper just looked back with a patronizing look. "And who are you supposed to be, human?"

"The one who will end this fight." Major Glory answered.

Jasper simply laughed. "And what can a human like you do? I am the Ultimate Quartz with new powers that makes me more powerful than any other Gem on this entire planet." She held up her hands and laughed as she started to gather ecto-energy both of them.

However just before she could anything else she felt a hand roughly grab her by the wrist and she looked up, eyes widening to see Major Glory hovering above her. "Wha-"

"It's not gentlemanly to hit a lady." Major Glory admitted as he inhaled. "So, this will do."

He blew, releasing a powerful gust that blasted Jasper back, sending her crashing into the wall, leaving an even larger dent mark than the one Garnet had made. She fell down to the floor, grunting but growled as she slowly stood back up.

"How?! I just beat the fusion! Nothing should harm me now!" Jasper slammed a fist into the ground.

"It is over. Surrender peacefully and you will be treated with mercy." Major Glory landed back on the floor. "There is no need to fight anymore."

"No need to fight?" Jasper growled. "Fighting is what I do. It is what I was made for. And I will never stop."

Jasper turned intangible and sank down into the floor.

Major Glory sighed. "It never seems to stop."

"Should we even go after her?" Capital G asked.

"I have a feeling she is long gone by now. I think we have other issues to deal with." Major Glory replied, looking at the Gems and Steven.

"See your point."

Xxx

"Unbelievable! What's the point of having all these powers if I am beaten by a single human?!"

'You get what you pay for, honey!'

Jasper, having flown so deep she emerged into a dark cavern underneath the city, grunted as Bill Cipher appeared before her again. "What do you want?"

'Is that any way to thank me for your new powers?' Bill asked, sounding genuinely hurt.

"Ha! They didn't do much good when a single human bested me!" Jasper growled. "How can these powers be useful if some worthless organic can defeat me?"

'Relax, Stripey. You still need to get used to your new powers. What you went through earlier is only a taste of what you can do. You need to remember what it was like as Malachite Plasmius.' Bill advised.

"Malachite…Plasmius?" Jasper slowly repeated, looking back down at herself in her ghost form. "That power…"

'And I know the perfect way to learn how control these powers quickly and to the point no one will stop you.' Bill continued. 'Just do me a favor and we can walk, two happy people with a lot of dead bodies left in their wake.'

Jasper scoffed but relented. "All right. Show me."

'First off, let's talk about a neat little town…'

Xxx

"HA!"

BOOM!

"TAKE THAT!"

BLAST!

"AND THAT!"

SMASH!

"AND SOME OF THAT!"

Within a matter of seconds an entire group of Beowolves were annihilated by Jasper in her new ghost form. The Gem-Ghost hybrid could only laugh as the black smoke from the fading Grimm surrounded her as she looked at her hands.

"This power…" Jasper clenched her fists. "It's everything I could have wanted and more. Who needs a fusion when you can keep the power to yourself?"

Ever since she first broke free of the Earth's crust Jasper had been told she was perfect.

The Ultimate Quartz.

The strongest Gem to come from Earth.

But it was not enough.

It could never be enough.

"So, enjoying my gift?"

Jasper didn't bother to look behind her as the decimated forest around her turned grey and froze. "What do you want?"

"Now is that any way to greet the guy who gave you those powers?" Bill Cipher remarked sarcastically. "Come on, Bulky. Loosen up a bit, relax that thick skull of yours. You might give yourself a headache." Bill laughed. "Get it? Because you like to hit people with your head?"

Jasper scoffed. "I don't have time for this. Get out of my head so I can get back to training."

"And what will you do then?" Bill hovered around the ghostly Gem.

"Find those uplifted flawed Gems and their leader, Rose." Jasper clenched a fist as it glowed with purple energy. "And then I'll beat them into the ground, shatter them and take all of their shards back to Homeworld."

"Sounds like a plan but first you have some unfinished business." Bill stated, stopping in front of Jasper who gave him a dark look.

"And what is that?"

"I give you those powers so now you have to get something for me." Bill held up a blue flame that morphed into a suit of armor. "See this battle armor? I need you to find it and smash it."

"And why would I waste my time? I don't need to do anything for you. You are not my Diamond, you are not even a Gem. Just some freak that keeps popping up in my mind." Jasper pointed at Bill in the eye. "And I don't do dirty work for some low class mental abomination."

"Oh, you sure know how to flatter a guy, Stripes." Bill dispelled the image. "But remember, we had a deal. I help you by giving you those powers and you help me in return. Don't tell me that the mighty Jasper is above honoring her end of the bargain. And FYI, I'm my own class act, baby."

"I still fail to see why I should bother." Jasper crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.

"How about this?" Bill snapped his fingers.

Jasper suddenly glowed bright red and fell down to the ground screaming. "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Bill snapped his fingers again and the red light faded along with the pain. "Get the picture now, Stripes? You're under contract with me and until I say so, you do what I SAY until the job is done."

Jasper looked up at Bill, snarling as her red eyes glowed with hate and rage.

"Good, I like that anger in your eyes. Really clears up the mind and keeps you focused on your priorities." Bill chuckled. "Now, you do a few errands for me and I'll consider our bargain over and done. Then you can go and tear apart those rebels and their dear little pink thorn."

Jasper got up, gritting her teeth but managed to snarl out an answer. "Fine. Where is this armor?"

"Glad you asked."

Xxx

"WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

Mabel was having the time of her life as she and Dipper sat in Grunkle Stan's car that was being flown back to Gravity Falls, courtesy of Double D and Armatae.

"Mabel could you please calm down?" Dipper said, having to stop Mabel from opening the window and sticking her head out.

You can just stick your head out the window while traveling high above the clouds.

This wasn't a cartoon, you know.

"Yes, please. Calm down." Double D spoke through the speakers. "We'll be back at Gravity Falls within the hour. Can you please control yourself?"

"How can I do that when I am in a flying car?!" Mabel brought her hands to her cheeks. "First I am a princess and now I have a flying carriage! How many dreams will come true for me after this?"

"I hope not for a while. I just want to lie down and do nothing but read from the journal for a while." Dipper sighed, leaning back on the couch.

"Agreed." Double D sighed as well. "It will be difficult enough to explain to Mother and Father what has been happening to-"

ALERT!

"Huh?"

A purple blast shot up in front of the car, stopping it in its 'tracks'.

"Whoa!" Mabel and Dipper hit the dashboard of the car but luckily not hard enough to hurt them.

"What in the world?!" Double D had to shake his head to regain his bearings. "Armatae, what happened?"

Danger

Up came none other than Jasper in her Plasmius form, arms crossed and grinning at the suit of armor carrying the car. "This is what he wants me to kill? Isn't there anything on this planet that's worth my time?"

Xxx

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

Now that we have removed the twins from our person can we please go on the offensive?

As soon as they dropped Dipper and Mabel at the farmhouse Double and Armatae quickly shot away, luring Jasper Plasmius away from the farmhouse and far enough where they could fight her without endangering any innocent lives.

"Yes, it's safe to engage her now." Double D answered.

Finally

Double D spun around as miniature cannons appeared on arms and wrists and immediately opened fire. Jasper stopped in mid-air allowing the energy bolts to hit her head on. As the Ultimate Quartz Jasper was able handle insane amounts of brute force but as a Gem/Ghost hybrid her durability had only increased. She didn't bother going intangible as she saw it as a power used only by cowards.

True warriors faced everything head on.

"Is that all you got?!" Jasper summoned her crash helmet and shot straight at Double D, curling and spin dashing as she flew.

Double D quickly generated a shield from his arm but Jasper still sent him skidding along the ground.

Jasper stood victoriously. "Looks another waste of time."

Double D slowly got up, glaring at Jasper from under her helmet. "Before we continue I'd like to ask a few questions."

"And why would I bother answering?" Jasper grunted.

"It's obvious I'm no match for you but since I've never seen you before I feel like I should understand why I have been targeted for death by you." Double D reasoned. "Allow me the honor to have my curiosity satisfied before you finish me off."

"Hmm…." Jasper frowned, considering his request for a moment. "Fine, it's not as if you could do much anyways. I don't really know what the creep who sent me is but his name is Bill Cipher."

Double D narrowed his eyes. "I should have known."

Indeed.

"As for me, I'm Jasper the Ultimate Quartz and top soldier in the Gem Empire, answering directly to the Great Diamond Authority themselves." Jasper stated proudly. "I only came here to finish off a band of rebels that destroyed the colony that was meant to be made here but I am sure not complaining about the upgrade I got along the way."

"Bill Cipher gave you those powers, didn't he?" Double D probed. "Obviously he must have had some reason to do it."

"Doesn't matter much to me. I only want to destroy all of my enemies." Jasper remarked. "I don't know why he sent me after you. Seems a little overkill to me. A human in some cyborg suit? Please, like that would be worth the effort."

Double D frowned but stopped when he looked up, noticing something falling from the sky. Deciding to keep Jasper distracted he immediately asked his next question. "So you're only here because of a grudge."

"That's right."

From above a small ship hovered in the sky and a hatch opened. "We're right above that Gem. This is as close as we can get without her seeing us."

"Fine by me!" Amethyst was the first to leap out. "Time for payback!"

"Amethyst, wait!" Pearl called out, jumping out next and was followed swiftly by Garnet.

Meanwhile back on the ground Double D continued stalling for time. "So if you don't know what Bill Cipher has planned why agree to anything he wants at all?"

"I don't care what he wants and I'm not here because I'm his subordinate. I'm the most powerful Quartz Gem to exist and the only stain on my record is the fact that I lost to a bunch of defective rebels that betrayed everything they were meant to be." Jasper snarled. "All Gems have a purpose, to serve the order of the Diamonds. Anyone who refuses that purpose must be purged!"

Jasper noticed a falling shadow on the ground in front of her. "Speaking of which…"

Jasper jumped back, watching as Amethyst, followed by Pearl and Garnet landed on the ground, kicking up dirt everywhere and leaving a small crater.

"Well, now things are starting to look up." Jasper chuckled as Amethyst slowly approached her. "What do you want, runt? Here for a rematch?"

"I'm here to win!" Amethyst shouted back.

"That's a laugh. You were doomed the moment you came out wrong." Jasper retorted.

"There's nothing wrong with her!" Pearl shouted, brandishing her spear.

"Well, well. Rose's Pearl, the runt and the fusion." Jasper remarked looking at each of the Crystal Gems. "Where's Rose?"

"You will content with us, Jasper." Garnet said, summoning her gauntlets.

"Won't be hard." Jasper said, gathering energy into her hands.

"EVERYONE GET AWAY!" Double D shouted from behind the Crystal Gems.

They all turned to see Double D summoned an energy sword and plunge it into the ground.

"What is he-"

Red energy traveled along the ground underneath Jasper who looked down, watching as the ground began to crack open with red energy, resembling a volcano about to erupt.

"What are you-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Jasper screamed as the red energy shot up through her body.

"Move!" Garnet pulled Amethyst and Pearl back as Jasper was engulfed in an explosion and let out a bloodcurdling scream.

Double D shot forward, grabbing Garnet who held onto Amethyst and Pearl as they were lifted off the ground and shot up into the sky as the battlefield was engulfed in a massive explosion. A moment later they landed, seeing nothing but fire and smoke where they had previously been.

"What was that?" Amethyst asked, looking at Double D.

"I chose that area because my scanners detected Fire Dust under the ground with a natural gas leak." Double D explained. "I figured I could stall her just long enough to set off the Dust which would also ignite the gas. Ghosts can naturally pass through solid objects but they are vulnerable to Dust, even intangible."

Armatae had briefed Double D as they lured Jasper away from Dipper and Mabel. Ghosts can be harmed by several earthly substances with one of them being Dust for some apparent reason. The energy of Dust could harm them if they were exposed to it.

"That's what you were planning on from the beginning." Garnet stated. "You purposely lured her there."

Double D nodded. "It was my only option. Speaking of I can see you are Gems like her."

"We're not like her." Pearl quickly denied. "We defend this planet, Jasper doesn't."

"She mentioned something like that." Double D sighed in relief. "At the very least she was likely to be heavily injured by that explosion. Though it is hard to say she survived or not."

"We'll search for her." Garnet stated. "Jasper cannot be allowed to roam freely with the power she has."

Xxx

It didn't take long for the Gems and Double D to return to the former battle field, coming onto a burning crater.

And from crawled a severely scorched Jasper, having returned to her Gem form.

"She lived through that?" Amethyst whispered. "What is she?"

Jasper grunted as she managed to look up, glaring at Double D. "That…was a dirty trick."

Double D had Armatae immediately scanned Jasper.

Her form was not destroyed but it was heavily weakened by the blast. Curious…

"What is it?" Double D asked.

I am detecting residual energy associated with Dust gathering inside of her…I believe its possible she was made from surrounding Dust in wherever she was created.

"What?!" Double D gasped.

Jasper managed to stand back up and let out a small roar as flames circled around her body.

"Now what?" Amethyst pulled out her whip.

"No…It's Dust energy." Garnet whispered.

Pearl's eyes widened. "She must have been made from the Beta Kindergarten…And infused with the Dust from the surrounding ground!"

Jasper looked at her hands, feeling the power. It was surging though her…

And hurting her!

"GAH!" Jasper fell back to her knees. "This power…I remember it…Back during the war…It made me strong….Stronger than other Gem before me!"

She struggled to stand back up but the surge of energy continued to cause her pain.

"What's happening to her?" Pearl stepped back, clutching her spear.

"It's the Dust affected her ghost form." Double D stated, reading the scans Armatae took. "The Dust is affecting her ghost form…They apparently don't work well together."

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Jasper let out a scream as the fire around her grew and grew until finally the fire engulfed her and caused her form to explode.

The Gems and Double D covered their eyes as Jasper exploded, creating a second explosion but one smaller than the first.

When it was over all that was left was Jasper's gemstone.

Garnet walked over the placed the gemstone in a bubble before sending it away. "…It's over."

Xxx

Inside the Hall of Heroes a certain tear shaped gem started to glow.

Xxx

He had been here…

He didn't even know where he was.

All he knew was that he was trapped and had no way out.

How did it come to this?

Why was this happening to him?

All he wanted was love.

And this was all he had?

"Who says you've missed the chance to have it all?"

He looked up, watching as a familiar triangle formed. "YOU!"

"Moi!" Bill Cipher gestured to himself with a laugh. "How are you holding up, Vladdy?"

"What is this?! What have you done to me?!" Vlad shouted.

"You still haven't figured out how to use your new powers?" Bill asked with a laugh. "Come on! I thought you'd be out, holding the world's water supply hostage by now."

"What are you babbling about?" Vlad demanded.

"You're a Gem and Gems have organic forms. Their bodies are formed from a concentration of light and energy but unless you choose what you want to look like you're going to be stuck here." Bill explained, rolling his eye.

Vlad became silent at this explanation. "Then why didn't you tell me?"

"Thought you were a smart enough guy to figure it out on your own." Bill shrugged. "Think of it this way, pal. You can have the best of both worlds now. Your ghost powers and the powers of a Gem, one of the most ruthless species in the entire universe. With these powers you can return to your world and take it over in a snap."

The demonic triangle snapped his fingers to emphasize his point. "You don't need money when you have an entire world in the palm of your hands, literally. The Gem part of you controls water to such a degree that if you had it in your world you would never have needed an asteroid to hold it hostage."

Vlad looked his hands. "This is…true."

"I am a businessman, Vladdy boy, not a liar. I'll get you all the power you need to get even with the kid who chased you off your planet. But you need to do a few things for me first here." Bill gestured to himself. "Starting with dealing with two pest who might foil things for me. Make sure they stay out of my way and I'll see to it you are shipped back home."

Vlad narrowed his eyes. "And why should I make a deal with you again? After everything you've done to me."

"Because it's the only you'll ever be something more than a runaway." Bill shrugged. "No skin off my nose….Get it?! So what do you say? Once more onto the breach?"

He held out a flaming hand which Vlad stared at…

And then reached for it.

"If you trick me again, I'll blast you to pieces. I also need a few more things from you." Vlad stated.

"Oh?"

"I want it all back. Wealth, power…I want to be king of my own world." Vlad's eyes flashed red.

"Vladdy boy. I know where you can get started."

The glowing gemstone had caught the attention of the Justice Friends with Major Glory, Valhallen and Krunk being the ones to enter the room while everyone else watched through the security cameras.

"All right, let's be careful. He may be a criminal where he's from but if we can try and talk him down…" Major Glory stopped as the ground began to shake.

"Or not." Valhallen said as light expanded from the gemstone and formed into a man.

Vlad Masters, reborn as a Lapis Lazuli Gem, had finally returned.

He resembled his original ghost form but resembled something more out of a Renaissance fair, dressed a medieval king. His hair combed back and his beard longer. From his back where his gemstone was located sprouted a pair of wings made of water that formed into a cape.

"At long last…freedom." The newly formed Gem said, laughing with glee.

As if there weren't enough bad signs for the three Justice Friends.

"Excuse me…" Major Glory coughed to get Vlad's attention. "But you wouldn't happen to be open to sitting down and calmly discussing your situation, would you?"

"Hmmm…Normally yes…But I have places to be and vengeance to enact." Vlad remarked, gesturing with his hands.

The Hall of Heroes shook as pipes were torn from the wall and water sprouted out, flooding the room and forming around Vlad.

"I got this!" Valhallen pointed his Mighty Axe at Vlad. "Let's see how you handle an electrical no-"

"No!" Major Glory grabbed the guitar. "The water will electrocute us too and potentially the rest of the building."

"Now, since I am new to this world and have a new form my old name is sort of inappropriate. So I will simply go by Vlad Lazuli for the time being." Vlad said, bowing dramatically. "I am sure you will see more of me in the future."

The water rose up, forming a pillar that smashed through the ceiling, allowing Vlad to escape.

"I got him!" Major Glory flew up the hole after Vlad.

Up above the building Vlad was already joyfully flying through the clouds, feeling not too different in his Gem form.

"Now that I have some new powers I have work to do." Vlad muttered himself. "First to find the place Cipher told me and then I can begin planning my revenge. Daniel, Jack, all of them will pay for everything they have done to me!"

"Hold it right there!" Major Glory flew up in front of him, stopping the male Gem immediately. "Those powers do not belong to you and the name Cipher is all I need to know that letting you go would be a big mistake."

"And trying to stop me is not a bigger one?" Vlad asked rhetorically.

Looking down at the lake, Vlad got an idea. "Besides, I think you have to do your job as a super hero and save the town."

Raising up one hand, Vlad grinned as he felt his control over the water. If only his ghost powers granted him such power.

Major Glory's eyes widened in horror as Vlad conjured an immense tidal wave in the great lake of GrimmFall that would destroy the entire city. "NO!"

Vlad watched as the hero flew down to stop the tidal wave he had created. "So predictable. As much as Daniel. Now then."

Vlad took the chance to escape while Major Glory flew down into the path of the tidal wave between it and the city. Taking a deep breath he then exhaled, releasing an icy cold breath that fortunately froze the tidal wave in its tracks, halting it from crashing into the city.

Looking back up, his super vision allowed him to see Vlad flying out of the atmosphere and towards the Shattered Moon. "We will meet again."

And next time Major Glory would not allow him to escape or harm anyone.

Xxx

"Well, here I am on the moon…talking to myself. At least it's better than sitting on an asteroid." The newly created Vlad Lazuli muttered as he flew over the surface of the Shattered Moon.

Why was he here again?

Oh right, that demented triangle sent him here to find something.

Xxx

"Oh, you sweet talker you!" Bill laughed as he gushed over the 'demented triangle' comment.

Xxx

"Now I just need to find this Diamond Outpost and then…Ah, I believe that is it." Vlad said, spotting a tower appearing up ahead.

He landed at the entrance and placed his hand on the wall terminal which accepted his handprint. The doors opened and allowed him to enter. The air released by the door opening almost blew him back but he managed to get inside and close the door.

"Right now he said the communicator would be at the top of the tower." Vlad said to himself.

Taking a chance to stop and look at the Vlad sniffed as he turned away. "These Diamonds, worshiped as deities by the lower ranks. Something I wish we had in common."

Vlad sighed as he walked up the stairs. "Oh I had it all. Money, fame, respect, powers that many would dream of and what happens? Gone! If not for the new opportunity here I would actually think the life of a nomad would offer some form of clarity."

The former half ghost scoffed. "Daniel is probably enjoying the fame of being a hero and Jack…"

Vlad clenched a fist.

"He thinks of me a monster when he made me the way I am. Blasts me in the face with ectoplasm that almost kills me, leaves me quarantined for years without ever visiting, writing or even apologizing for almost killing me and expect us to still be friends?!" Vlad stopped and punched the wall, forming cracks along the mural of White Diamond. "DID IT EVER OCCURE TO HIM WHY I WOULD HAVE A REASON TO HATE HIM?!"

He let out a maddened yell that echoed through the empty tower before seemingly calming down…

"Well, if there is nothing left for me perhaps I should just embrace that…" Vlad straightened himself up. "And see to it there is nothing left…for anyone."

He continued his journey up to the tower, reaching the very top and seeing the command chair.

"How simplistic in its design. A room with the view of the entire world." Vlad remarked as he approached the chair. "Perhaps I should consider constructing a moon base back in my home reality. Hidden on the dark side of the moon."

It sounded so easy and yet he would need resources to make that happen.

He walked up to the command chair and sat down, taking a chance to look at the Earth.

Well, it wasn't his Earth.

And yet perhaps if couldn't have his Earth maybe he should look elsewhere.

Would it annoy Daniel and his friends to know if he had found a nice little planet of his own to rule while being worshiped by its inhabitants?

"Perhaps trying to take over my Earth was the first mistake. Perhaps I should consider building up my own power again. According to Cipher as a Gem I am effectively immortal, meaning I could wait years before being ready to come back and Daniel would already have one foot in the grave." Vlad chuckled. "Always try to savor the small victories, huh Vlad Lazuli? Still, I would need the powers of a ghost to deal with a dimension of ghosts."

Speaking of ghosts he had no idea what happened to Skulker or Danielle beyond leaving them in that lab they woke up in.

Perhaps they could be the key.

"With a little prodding and some ecto-powered equipment I could begin creating my own portal right here on this base. And with no need for food or water anymore I would not have to worry about starving up here." Vlad stood up, folding his arms behind his back as he slowly paced around the chair. "It's not much at the moment but I suppose I'll have to find a way to make it work."

"Or perhaps you would like to accept a helping hand?"

Spinning around Vlad spotted an…alien in golden armor standing at the top of the stairs. "Who are you?!"

"I am General Lunaris and I cannot help but wonder if you would accept some help." The alien said with a confident smile.

Xxx

Vlad had no idea what to expect when this General Lunaris requested him to follow back to the so-called Moonlander's home.

Only when he saw the golden city did he relent and reGroddned quiet.

The inhabitants of the city gave him odd looks but he ignored them and continued following Lunaris to the center of the city.

They entered a grand hall and at the end of the of the room was a golden throne with a…creature sitting on it.

It appeared to be a humanoid insect with four-arms and had pincers. He had light grey skin and the front of his face was dark grey. He had a long ponytail and a long tongue that was sticking out. He wore a red and purple outfit reminiscent of a Chinese nobleman.

"General Lunaris," It spoke in a calm and cold manner. "Why do you bring this Gem before me?"

"Lord Tso Lan," Lunaris knelt before the creature. "This is no Gem. He is a human transformed into a Gem."

Tso-Lan narrowed his eyes. "What?"

Xxx

"All right, just remain calm."

Bunny Bravo liked to hide any gray hair by tying her hair in a handkerchief, and wore black light blue shoes while also wearing a purple jacket and pink pants. When on Huntress duty she looked to wear a track suit that was suited for jogging rather than fighting but it was obvious she kept herself in shape despite the hard work of being a Huntress and being a single mother to boot. Bunny Bravo ran a strict household, making sure everyone was welcome but expected them to pitch in making sure her house was relatively clean and pleasant to look at. She had a feeling her guests, Greg Universe and Lapis Lazuli were usually guests in someone's home which was fine.

They just needed to remember the pecking order in the Bravo House which started with Bunny Bravo, followed by:

Bunny's vacuum.

Bunny's make up kit.

Bunny's shampoo and conditioner.

Bunny's favorite chair and stool.

Her son Johnny.

And then the guests after they paid rent.

That's the pecking order of the Bravo house and anyone who dared forget would pay dearly.

It was easy to see that Greg Universe took it 'easy' in how he lived which was in a van. The man obviously was much in the way personal hygiene either from his sunburnt skin, the long hair and beard and the smell coming off of him.

He could at least remember to buy some deodorant!

The poor dear, Lapis on the other hand was a different kind of mess.

She used to be an alien and was now a human and had to get used to all the benefits and problems that came with it.

Problem number one: learning to use the bathroom.

That was mentally scarring to the poor girl who never had to do something like that as an alien or Gem as she called herself.

She was lost, scared, confused and really needed help.

As a mother and a Huntress Bunny Bravo took it upon herself to look after the young Lapis and help coach her through the ordeal she was having, especially in the wake of an Omega alert being declared in GrimmFall of all places.

"What is going on?" The now human Lapis asked, sitting up from the table.

Bunny calmly placed her hands on the former Gem's shoulder, leading her to the basement. "I am sure whatever trouble there is the authorities can handle it, dear. Just relax and wait down in the basement."

Lapis hated feeling like this.

She hated feeling so weak.

Without her powers, without her wings, even without her Gem she felt more like a prisoner even though she was no longer trapped in the mirror or fused with Jasper and Vlad.

Exhaustion.

Sleep.

Hunger.

The…bathroom.

All these changes in so short a time was almost too much for the former Gem to handle. It was only through the gentle coaching of Bunny Bravo was she able to keep herself sane through it all. Bunny led her down the stairs to the basement that was built like a bomb shelter. The walls were reinforced, there was a miniature fridge with the necessary provisions, a single bathroom and a few sleeping bags laid out for the three.

"Here." Bunny sat Lapis down on a chair. "Just relax and if you need something cool to calm your nerves there are some drinks in the fridge. I'll go find Mr. Universe and bring him down."

Lapis nodded, watching as Bunny quickly headed back up the stairs.

Xxx

Greg sighed sadly as he sat up on his bed, staring at the photo.

"What are you looking at?"

"Gah!" Greg jumped a bit but calmed down when he saw it was only Lapis who had come down to the basement on the instructions of Bunny Bravo. "Oh, it's you, Lapis. How's it going?"

"I'm…A little better. I may not have power anymore but I kind of loved that shower thing Bunny showed me." Lapis admitted, her hair dripping slightly but she didn't care. In fact she loved the feel of water on her. "What about you? You seem sad too."

"Oh, it's nothing." Greg rubbed the back of his head, putting the photo away. "Just reminiscing about some old things that happened a while ago."

"Like what?" Lapis asked as she sat down on a nearby couch. "I am not going anywhere and Bunny told me that talking about something would help me get my mind off of…well, being human."

Greg chuckled weakly. "I guess Steven's the only one who can pull off a Gem being a human, huh?"

"At least he still has his gemstone." Lapis muttered bitterly. "Seriously, how do you handle all of this?"

"All of what?"

"All of this. The cleaning, the eating, the choosing of clothes, the…bathroom." Lapis shuddered at that. "Not being able to fly, having to catch your breath when you run and having to stop running when your legs start to hurt. Seriously, how can you be so tough against those Grimm monsters that made Homeworld's entire army tremble?"

"Yeah. It can be pretty tough but we learn to live with it." Greg said with a small smile. "We are not born with all those magic powers you Gems have. We have to work for it. We learn, we grow and we're always changing no matter what."

'If every pork chop were perfect we wouldn't have hotdogs.'

Grey's eyes became a little misty as that familiar saying creeped its way into his head. He told that Steven but he wasn't the one who made it up.

Wirt told to him he learned it from his dad.

For the first time Greg wondered if it had been a good idea to not mention his family, the human side of Steven's family to him once.

Okay, so his parents are likely still alive and probably wouldn't care much they have a grandson that their disowned son has not bothered to send to school but after learning he had an uncle, albeit a dead uncle Steven would probably want to know more. Greg's parents haven't spoken to him or replied to back to the letters he sent in years, his aunt and uncle were dead but he was sure his cousin was still around and Sarah…

Greg flinched at the thought of his sister in law. 'I just go up to her and introduce her nephew after I got her husband killed and pretty much tore her family apart? I'm a rock star who lives in a van with a mullet, not a monster.'

Now Greg remembered why he didn't bother reaching out to anyone from his last life.

His parents were horrible and he literally destroyed the beautiful future his brother and Sarah could have had together.

"Hey?"

Greg perked up the sound of Lapis speaking to him. "Uh?"

"Are you okay?" Lapis asked, noticing the lost look on Greg's face. "Because you look kind of sad."

"Oh, sorry." Greg sighed. "I just realized I might have to do a lot of explaining to Steven in the future."

"About what?"

"About his uncle, my brother…And how I killed him."

By the window a blue bird appeared.

In the following weeks, Lapis had slowly but surely learned how to adjust herself as a human. It hadn't been easy, but it was still better than being trapped in a mirror for thousands of years. It had been easier with Bunny Bravo and their neighbor Carl who would drop in time to time to check in on Lapis and see how she was holding up. It was difficult but Lapis had been thankful to both Bunny and Carl for helping her. With their help, she started to see how humans lived on Earth, working hard to provide for themselves, those close to them which Bunny had called family and protecting their homes from the Grimm.

Lapis honestly couldn't say if she was better off as a human but she was adjusting and with what she had learned came a form of respect for how these beings were able to handle living like this.

It was Carl who helped her better understand.

She remembered going everywhere with him as he showed her all the wonderful sights of GrimmFall and even showed her the transporter device called the Slider that had been built by DexLabs to make travel safer. It was like stepping onto a Warp Pad with the difference being the Earth device was more limited and couldn't travel across star systems but it was impressive.

Carl used it to take her everywhere he could think of:

Peach Creek Estates

Peach Creek Commons

Genius Grove

Eternal Vistas

She asked about that one place on the computer display called Endsville but Carl warned it was a dangerous place to travel to, even for Huntsmen.

City Point

City Station

Marquee Row

They were all amazing places to visit, and she especially liked places close to the ocean. Gem or not, she always felt calm near a large body of water. Carl had been so supportive of her, helping better adjust as a human being.

Like reading manga and comic books to pass the time.

Helping her catch up on Earth history.

Educating her on the basic human manners and how they usually act.

It was a bit scary and a bit daunting but Lapis could say she was as grateful to Carl and Bunny for helping as much she had been grateful to Steven for releasing her from that mirror.

Enough that Lapis could almost certainly say she felt something for him.

Her heart beeped faster, she found herself completely at ease around him and she even laughed at how silly he sounded or laughed at time.

It was hard to say exactly how she was feeling but she liked it.

She liked it a lot.

And here she was, sitting with him in the park listening to him, pointing at things or speaking on some silly subject.

What was happening with her?

She didn't realize it, but she was falling in love with Carl.

Was it because of the human hormones in her?

She never thought she'd consider anything about humans in general. There was Steven, he freed her from the mirror and was her first friend in a thousand years. When she returned to Homeworld, she trouble integrating back into Gem society due to everything being so different from the last time she had been on Homeworld. The only thing she could safely hadn't changed were the other Lapis's.

Lapis had to suppress a scowl at the other Gems she shared her gemstone with.

Lapis Lazuli's were terraformers, able to control the water of any eco-system around them. They were high in rank in Gem Society, on par with Sapphires and Emeralds but of course below Diamonds. That made them vain, arrogant and haughty to the point that Lapis herself couldn't stand to be around them. That was what made her, ironically, volunteer to go to Earth to help in the colonization. She just wanted to get away from the other Lazulis.

She had no way of knowing she'd be caught up in a war or get stuck in a mirror for the last thousands of years, only to be found by the very rebels who caused the war.

Ever since Steven released her from that mirror, nothing she remembered had stayed the same.

It made things difficult for her, trying to fit in on Homeworld as a Gem or even on Earth as a human.

"Lapis? Are you okay?"

Lapis shook her head, pulled away from her thoughts and looked at the concerned face of Carl. "Uh? Sorry, did you say something?"

"Are you okay?" Carl asked again in a soft tone.

"I…I am not sure." Lapis looked down at the pond before her, seeing her reflection. "Truth is, it's hard for me to tell if I am all right or if I am about to fall apart."

"What do you mean?"

"In the beginning, I was a Gem, a Lapis Lazuli. I never cared about anything other than carrying out the purpose I was made for. A Lapis terraforms planets colonized by Gems. That's what I was sent here for. I didn't intend to cause any harm or start any trouble, I just set out to do my job." Lapis held up a hand, instinctively trying to control the water even though she had lost her powers as a Gem.

Old habits die hard.

"And then the Gem War happened and even though I wasn't exactly on anyone's side, I didn't even have a clue there was a war happening, I got attacked, my gemstone was damaged, my people imprisoned and interrogated me, and I was left behind for thousand years, not able to move, sleep, drink, eat, breathe or even close my eyes. All I could do was stare at whatever the mirror was pointed at." Lapis lowered her hand. "Then when Steven finally freed me all I wanted to do was go home. I didn't want to stay; I didn't even want to look back. And on Homeworld…I wasn't any better."

"What do you mean?" Carl asked curiously.

"Everything had changed since a thousand years ago. It was all so…advanced, automated and…soulless. It felt as cold and empty as the mirror I had been trapped in. I barely felt any relief when Blue Diamond welcomed me back into her court. And then I was dragged back here, expecting to pick up where we left in hunting down the last Crystal Gems." Lapis brought her knees up and wrapped her arms around them. "Then I fused with Jasper, becoming a literal monster. I almost lost myself in the rage and self-loathing. Then that guy Vlad came along, and it only made us feel worse about ourselves. And now this…"

She held up her human hand.

"So much has changed for me, and I am not sure I can keep up with it." Lapis lowered her hand and sighed. "I've only had the chance to collect my thoughts after I was turned into a human. Up to now, I was certain I would always be a Gem but now…I don't if I can even call myself Lapis anymore. Without my gemstone, who am I? Lapis the human?"

She buried her face in her knees.

"What do I from here on? Just beg all the other humans to help me? Spend my days looking for something to keep me going?"

She was trembling now.

"Get a simple job and wait until my life ends?"

It was too much…

She wanted so badly to keep herself together, but it was too much to bear now.

Then a pair of arms circled around her and hugged her close. Out of instinct and need, Lapis leaned against Carl as he gently rubbed her back, creating a soothing sensation that helped to calm her down.

It was gentle.

It was warm.

It was everything Lapis had been wishing up to now.

She looked up at Carl who stared back at her, the two holding each other's gaze…And then by some sort of strange instinct, Lapis and Carl brought their faces closer until their lips connected.

Lapis didn't understand what was happening.

Some sort of urge, a need had taken over her and it was causing…

A feeling of bliss to travel through her.

In that moment, all the stress was gone, and she found herself craving this action without end. She didn't understand why this happening or why the simple connecting of mouths was causing her to enjoy this so much but she liked it.

As she continued her kiss, her back began to glow.

Xxx

Meanwhile, in the Gem Temple, inside the storage room, a certain gemstone began to glow…and then receded but the sudden action caused the pink bubble surrounding it to burst. The gemstone fell onto the ground and a glowing form surrounded it.

Xxx

"So, you say you can help create a portal into this…Ghost Zone?"

Vlad Lazuli nodded, staring nervously up at the ruler of the moon named Tso-Lan. "Yes. If you give me the time and resources needed, I can construct a fully operational portal in-GAH!"

Vlad was suddenly overtaken by a flash of light engulfing his entire form, followed by two black rings that appeared around the center of his torso and split apart, traveling to his feet and head in a matter of seconds.

Tso-Lan narrowed his eyes at the new form before him. "And what is this?"

"This…is me." Vlad grinned as he held up a purple glowing fist. "Plasmius. Vlad Plasmius."

This chapter is dedicated to the memory of Martin Mull(1943-2024), voice actor of Vlad Masters/Plasmius.

This is more or less a recap and an epilogue to the Gravity Falls part of the Endgame Arc of GrimmFall. It took a lot longer than I thought but it is finished but there is still more to come. Hope you all like this and I promise more action in the future. For now though, I plan on taking another short break from GrimmFall like I did following the end of the Van Kleiss arc a few years ago and then we'll continue the GrimmFall story and maybe finally get to work on the movie arcs that have been mentioned. Stay Gold, everyone.

Later.
