Opening File: Betty Petrikov

Betty Petrikov is the wife of Simon Petrikov and the surrogate mother of Marceline Abadeer. Betty at a young age, chose to become a Huntress after meeting her future husband in a library and was one of the only people to look up to Simon and was intrigued by his plans to locate The Enchiridion while telling him about her plan to go to the outback. Knowing it would be a dangerous mission, Betty unlocked her Aura, trained to become a Huntress, forged her weapon and took the Huntsman Exams since she was already past the usual age for applying to a Huntsman Academy. Once they found the book and returned from the expedition, however, Betty decided to leave and insisted that Simon take the sole credit for the book's discovery.

Betty had intended to finally go to the Australian Outback. After leaving a note for Simon in the book they shared, however, Simon rushed off to the bus stop to tell her he reciprocated her feelings, leading her to stay with him and never board the bus after realizing they were in love with each other. Betty would continue work as a Huntress, taking on missions to secure an apartment with plenty of money for her and Simon. During one of those mission, Betty and Simon came upon an orphaned Marceline and would soon adopt her.

Simon's research into the supernatural led to the discovery of an ancient entity named GOLB, a deity of discord and chaos and hailed as the Crimson God by several cultures. Betty remained supportive of Simon's work while also raising Marceline. However, their family was struck by sudden and horrifying event as Betty began changing, screaming and convulsing as her skin turned red. Simon realized that Betty's terrifying condition was the work of GOLB and quickly fled with Marceline and Betty to parts unknown…

Little did they know, they were being watched.

On the bridge, TOM sits down in his chair. "Hey, everyone. We're finally back. Took some time but we made it through Weirdmaggeddon all right and the action's not stopping. Speaking of not stopping, if you knew someone was after you, what would you do? Run and hide or stand your ground?

It's a tough choice to make, especially if you're not the only one who might be in danger. You got to think of everyone in your life when you make a dangerous decision. Your life doesn't just belong to you unless you're completely alone with no one out there you can trust. So remember that when you have a problem you can't just run from."

SARA appeared next to TOM. "We are all stronger together."

"You got it." TOM nodded. "And you'll be seeing plenty of reasons later as we continue showing the epic stories of GrimmFall. Okay, back to work."

"What's wrong with Betty?!"

Marceline had no idea how it all happened.

One second Betty was fine and then the next she was on the ground, screaming and convulsing as her skin turned red.

"I don't know, Marceline but we'll find out." Simon quickly assured his adoptive daughter before picking the convulsing Betty up. "We need to get her to someplace where she can get help."

The question where could they go?

Simon was absolutely sure this was not a normal affliction but he had no idea where to go or who could help.

The way Betty looked it…

It reminded him of something he had seen before.

One eye turning yellow with a green pupil.

"Oh..."

Simon rushed over to his desk and picked up a book, flipping through the pages and stopping one. "It can't be…"

"Simon, what is it?" Marceline rushed up to him. "Does it tell what's happening to Betty?"

Simon was silent as pointed at the page and Marceline looked, seeing the drawing a red skinned creature with four yellow eyes and green pupils, fangs for teeth and…

Marceline stared at Betty with wide eyes, rendered completely silent by what she was seeing.

"It's…GOLB." Simon was trembling now. "GOLB is here."

Betty opened her human eye. "Simon…help."

Several minutes later Betty was in the car, Simon and Marceline packing their stuff and shoving it all into the trunk before taking off without a word to anyone else.

Where were they going?

What were they doing?

Why was this happening?

No one knew.

All Simon knew was that he felt he had to run and get Betty far away from civilization, fearing what would happen if someone saw her.

They get far away and then try to figure things out.

As they fled, four pairs of red glowing eyes watched them.

Ross stood before Sebben alongside Sam during the training session with his team and the park staff. The Mayor wanted to speak with him about something that seemed important.

"I know this is a bit odd to ask you something, although congratulations are in order." Sebben heard about the couple about to become parents and was happy for them. "But that wasn't what I wanted to talk about. During your spar, I noticed something was off."

Ross raised an eyebrow and looked surprised, decided to ask him what he thought to say. "Such as?"

"When you returned from Iron Heaven with some injuries and bruises, you surprisingly healed rather quickly, especially after facing those villains in Denver as well." Sebben stated, looking at Ross. He noticed a brief moment of fidgeting but Ross remained calm. "That's quite remarkable, even for a Class-V huntsman. One's Aura would usually have its limits."

After analyzing the huntsman before him and learning about his abilities, Sebben noted that while Ross's Semblance may not be as powerful as others, he was very skilled and resourceful in his own ways. The mayor and headmaster of GrimmFall and Nevernest Academy had discovered that Team REYN was recruited by WOOHP, a special branch of Global Justice, to foster strong relations between agents and Huntsmen, especially since the team leader was married to one.

"But that is until we found something rather interesting."

Uncertain of where this was going, Ross was at a loss.

This caught Sam's attention, and she began to feel worried. "What is it? Is it something bad?"

"Quite the opposite, Agent Noften. I spoke with your superior, Jerry from WOOHP, and he was curious as well when we analyzed your genetic samples and discovered a very rare trait." Sebben thought it best to break the ice with the married couple. "Mr. Noften, you're not a normal Faunus… you're Mythic type."

Ross's eyes widened as well as Sam's to find out about this. Both thought if they heard him correctly and looked at each other, then back at the mayor. "Wait, say that again? I'm a what… a Mythic?"

"Yep, it was quite a surprise when I saw it, yet you are aware how very rare they are and the governments made certain to keep them hidden and protected, especially those of the paranormal like the Secret Scientists," Sebben explains to him and holds a tablet to show him the results. "We narrowed down what type and reveals you're a Nemean Lion-Faunus."

"Nemean?" Sam mumbled and acknowledged what it meant. "Wait, as in from the Greek myths?"

The mayor nodded, demonstrating that she understood the name. "The mythical lion with fur as strong as steel and could break almost anything. I had my suspicions as to why I paired you up with one of Team SEKR's members. I would have considered Scotty, but we know how that would have ended up."

Ross' skin suddenly turned pale and quivered, remembering that fight with Agunimon. He wasn't known as the World's Strongest Huntsman for nothing, not after using that terrifying power of his. "Uhh, point taken. So then... I'm not a normal Faunus? How even my parents hadn't shown any traits of it."

"Well, that may be true. However, some genes can skip a few generations or even remain dormant for some time. Your physical development and abilities must have perhaps triggered it when training with your teammates or came on its own." Phil theorized as a possible explanation, no doubt a descendant of a Mythic. "Some Faunus do have this special gene but never fully awakened it as some scientists theorized. And this could be useful in the future for the fight we're about to have."

Taking in all this to find out that he was really. Mythic-Faunus which never occurred to him, would explain the recent recoveries but just assumed to have been his Aura that took the beat from the previous fights. It was both incredible and terrifying what this new power would mean and what he could do.

"This is... wow, this is gonna... take some time. I mean, I never realized it until now." Ross looked down at his hand and grasped it softly.

Sebben understood and nodded his head. "I know, and reasons after your team is recovering from the fight in Denver, I would like you all to train with the park staff. They may not seem much, but they do show potential. That way we can know more about your new ability."

Bunny Island.

The name was appropriate, given the island was shaped like a full bunny with head and body and a darker brown color. The interior has Ancient Mexican style decor, built with yellow brick. All of the rooms on the island are large, open spaces.

Right now, the main event was happening in the control room of the base.

"Major Doctor Ghastly," An electronic male voice spoke, coming from a brain placed in a green glass dome placed atop a bear's head. "Do you have a report on what is happening in Nowhere?"

"I do, sir." The red-haired woman turned around. "The Grimm army has reached the Nowhere Mountains ahead of schedule and General Skarr appears to be the main commander of the army."

"Excellent." The brain, Hector Con Carne chuckled. "With Skarr leading the army, the heroes and Huntsmen will be wiped out and we will swoop in and take over GrimmFall with its protectors weakened."

"By the way, sir, during the infiltration in the base I think one of the soldiers saw them take your old couch." Ghastly added.

"What? I threw that away!"

"Yes, it was weird they just escaped through the portal and these two guys scurrying across with a couch. And I think it had a stain on it from when we had a Hawaiian punch night."

"Yeah, that's my couch, those scum!" Hector Con Carne raged.

"…How did that couch even get there?"

She remembered feeling the sweat coming down her forehead.

She remembered her arms aching, her hands tightly gripping the handle of her sword.

She remembered seeing the sparks from her sword clashing with the blade of opponent.

She remembered the growls and roars of the approaching Grimm.

She remembered the blinding bolts of bright golden light from one monster in particular.

She remembered her feet aching as she charged through the battlefield, matching her opponent's speed as their blades clashed in a brilliant but deadly dance of battle between two skilled warriors.

Correction, make that three skilled warriors.

(Gentlemen, we can rebuild him)

Sir James, better known as Gentle-Jim or the Gentleman calmly used the blade that had been given to him by Sammael to disperse the lightning attack sent at him by SAM-R-I. "A little pointless isn't it? Considering you know my blade can negate all energy-based attacks."

(We have the technology)

Neither Genki nor her husband said anything, simply readying themselves to continue the fight but that wouldn't be necessary.

BLAST!

(We have the technology, technology…)

Both Huntress and Hero turned to see Cycle-Drones and Robotnik's machines approaching with Grimm behind them, ready to attack with the forward drones already firing.

Gentle-Jim scowled. "It seems my allies have no understanding of a gentleman's duel."

(Better, stronger, faster)

A golden blur shot out of Nowhere, grabbing Genki and SAM-R-I and whisking them away as the ground they stood on was scorched.

BOOM!

(On your marks, get set, go)

Gentle-Jim turned his head, watching as the golden blur shot away from the battlefield and headed straight into the mountains. "Another time then."

From the mountains came a barrage of rockets, hitting Grimm, Badnik and Vehicon as they made their way into the mountains.

(Annihilate, calculate, devastate)

Obsidian narrowed his optics at seeing the forward units being destroyed. "Sensor drones eight through fifteen. Get me a visual on the source of those projectiles."

(Terminate, obliterate, incinerate)

A second later, one of the screens showed an army of men wearing golden armor and helmet with red capes, each of them holding a spear in one hand and a golden shield in the other.

"Spartans. Sebben has called upon them." Obsidian grunted.

He turned another screen that showed General Skarr. "General, the Spartans have arrived."

(Exterminate, violate, devastate)

"No doubt thanks to the Scotsman and his magic sword. They must have called from reinforcements from all over the world." Skarr replied.

(Decapitate, assassinate, exhilarate)

"The Spartans have placed themselves in a pathway that bottlenecks our ground forces. We can't move to the center of the mountains without clearing the enemy away." Obsidian remarked.

Skarr grinned. "Don't worry. Sammael made me General for a reason."

(Run, run, run)

From his post, Skarr turned to see the Volcano Toads still at their assigned posts. "Ready, aim…FIRE!"

The Volcano Toads aimed and fired their projectiles of flaming Grimm matter up over the mountains.

(Run, run, run)

A single Spartan looked up and saw what could only be described as dark meteors falling straight towards them. "Your Majesty!"

The leader of the army, Spartok looked to the sky and saw the rain of fire and darkness. "Shields!"

(Terminator oscillator)

The Spartans all raised their shields as the flaming meteors hit…

The Spartans struggled to keep their shields up, reinforcing them with Hard-Light Dust and their own strength but the strength of the enemy attacks was great…

Spartok spun to see the left flank being overwhelmed, brave Spartans being thrown back, blasted and burned.

(And they're just daring me to kill again)

"Rear flank!" Spartok shouted, raising his hand. "Intercept!"

(Suffocate, desecrate, devastate)

The rear flank raised their spears that were armed with rockets, firing them up at the dark meteors, interpreting them in mid-air, cancelling each other out in a blaze of fiery light.

BOOM!

(Terminate, obliterate, disintegrate)

Skarr snapped his fingers. "Underground units, move."

(Exterminate, violate, devastate)

Underneath the surface, hissing sounds followed by something digging through the earth could be heard.

(Decapitate, assassinate, exhilarate)

"They might have the advantage on the surface, but we still the underground and the sub-basement of Van Kleiss's lab to consider." Skarr remarked, looking at Obsidian's screen. "Even if they can hold out against in the mountains, we have them trapped. They can't keep up a prolonged siege for very long."

"Our mole drones are digging straight through the mountains." Obsidian reported. "They should reach the enemy encampment in a matter of minutes."

(Run, run, run)

Skarr grinned. "In the meantime, our forward units will engage the Spartans and-"

Skarr was cut off as a sound could be heard overhead.

A musical sound.

(Run, run, run)

Looking up, Skarr was greeted with the surprise of an army of Scottish warriors, each of them riding a jackelope on a glowing bridge of azure light made by Scotty Blake as he rode at the very front.

"Take this, you tree ogres!" Scotty shouted, looking over his shoulder. "Blow 'em up!"

Each Scottish warrior dropped over a handful of grenades as the azure bridge formed over the Grimm army, each grenade detonating a second later.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Scotty let out a bellowing laugh as he angled the azure bridge back to the mountains.

Skarr grunted; his eye narrowed in red glowing hatred. "Bloody Scotsman."

(Terminator oscillator)

"What has happened?" Obsidian questioned, having seen the explosions. "How did the enemy slip all the way out here?"

"The Scotsman used his Celtic magic to make a bridge over us." Skarr replied grumpily. "They completely wiped out our forward lines."

(Terminator oscillator)

"Then we must take out the Scotsman." Obsidian stated. "He'll only present the enemy with too many advantages."

"I have to reorganize the Grimm for the moment." Skarr clenched a fist. "It'll be between you and Robotnik to take out the Scotsman."

"Very well." Obsidian nodded, cutting the connection and ending the call.

Skarr snarled as he turned around, both hands clenched into fists. "He'll pay for that before the night is out."

Meanwhile, Capital G was one of many heroes and Huntsman were recuperating at a make-shift base made of various tents.

A roar overhead made him look up. "Oh no."

From the dark, lightning filled sky fell Grimm Ghidorah, having returned from destroying the satellite that had been used to destroy Sammal and his Galleon.

(You wouldn't hurt, you wouldn't hurt me)

Nearby, Sebben was stoically staring up at the sky, watching as the Kaju Grimm descended from the sky.

(I want it, I need it, I'm gonna hunt you down)

'I could use it right now and try to end this fight before we suffer mass casualties.' Sebben thought, touching his eye patch.

(I want it, I need it, I'm gonna run you down)

But he couldn't go that far.

Not yet.

Not when the enemy still had many more pawns on the board.

Such as the giant Miasma Hulks made from surrounding mountains that were approaching them.

Major Glory flew at high speed, rearing a fist back as he shot at the nearest Miasma Hulk.

"HA!" He sent the fist forward…

POW!

Major Glory grunted as he forced the Miasma Hulk to take a step back and he could see cracks forming from the force of his punch.

But the Hulk remained standing and from various points of its body, bursts of purple fumes exploded and began spreading out.

(Run, run, run)

'Miasma! It's toxic to anyone who breathes it!' Major Glory realized. 'If it reaches the campsite, everyone will die!'

(Run, run, run)

Major Glory then began spinning at high speed as he shot forward again. His spinning was so fast, he became literal tornado that began sucking up the miasma as he impacted the Miasma Hulk in the chest, becoming a literal drill now.

(Terminator oscillator)

The Miasma Hulk growled as it was pushed back, struggling to remain standing.

(Terminator oscillator)

'Its body must be made of minerals from deep within the Earth, making it more durable than any Miasma Hulk I've ever encountered before. Combined with the Grimm material, it's able to resist even my strength.' Major Glory grit his teeth as he struggled.

(Run, run, run)

The other Justice Friends were having just about the same amount of luck as Major Glory with Valhallen working alongside SAM-R-I blasting their own Miasma Hulk with bolts of lightning they absorbed from the storm above and channeled it into their attacks, blasting it with over eight hundred million volts of electricity.

ZAP!

(Run, run, run)

BOOM!

(Terminator oscillator)

Even though Valhallen's lightning barrage damaged the Miasma Hulk, it still survived, albeit was completely black with scorch marks from the attacks.

"Man…" Valhallen rubbed his head.

(Terminator oscillator)

"RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Krunk roared as he attacked the third Miasma Hulk with his best weapon:

In the meantime, the fourth Miasma Hulk was met with resistance by the other three currently present members: Tiki-Torch, Living Bullet and White Tiger.

"RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!" The Miasma Hulk staggered as the Roar of the Tiger scrambled its mind for a second.

Living Bullet shot forward, his bullet shaped head aimed right at the monster's foot…

And rebounded off it.

Living Bullet crashed into the ground, rubbing his head. "Ow…"

"What happened?" Tiki-Torch asked, landing next to Bullet.

"It's too dense even for me to break." Bullet answered as he stood up.

"Then what this monster needs…Is a Hala-Lulu Hot Foot!" Tiki-Torch declared his body became engulfed in flames.

He charged straight at the Miasma Hulk, the fire growing greater until…

The Miasma Hulk was consumed in a literal tornado of fire, scorching the very miasma it was emitting and burning it from the inside out.

We come to a large, abandoned house hidden in the mountains. Inside this house was a large laboratory basement. The owners of this were long gone, the possessions and pictures still present. Whoever had left did so in a hurry.

BEEP!

If anyone was around, they might hear a beeping sound if they knew where to look. The sound came from beneath the house, in a basement with a singular computer interface attached to the ceiling and in front of the interface was a smooth circular surface with a white colored outline. The room was circular in shape and over three stories high. It had the same sterile looking silver walls and floors, looking like the inside of a spaceship.

Computer screens lined the walls. In the center was a now activated device that projected a familiar looking image above it, a shape made up of varying segments connected to a glowing sphere in the middle.

Attached to it were a computer and a chair.

On the other side of the room were tall pillars that opened up into bright golden chambers that had no visible features on the interior.

BEEP!

The beeping sound came from the computer and on the screen appeared to be some sort of timer.

But for what?

The monitor displayed the timer on the screen.

STATUS: CONNECTED

TIME REMAINING: 1 MINUTE 43 SECONDS

The clock showed it was 11:58.

The wind seemed to intensify outside the house.

These words were ignored by the man passing the cell of the man known only as the Psycho Killer from the reality show, Total Drama. As he walked by another cell, the prisoner inside started making kissy faces at him which was also ignored.

"And crunchy cockroaches have a big advantage over the stink bugs!" The voice came from up ahead.

"Shut up, McLean!"

Inside the cell was none other than Chris McLean, host of the live action reality show Total Drama, clad in an orange jumpsuit while staring down at two bugs on the floor.

"Ooh! Lightning walks past Duncan, the heat is on! Yeah, look at that! That's what I'm talking about!" Chris cheered with an unhinged look on his face before he noticed Chef Hatchet at his glass door. "Well, well, well, look who came to visit me after a whole year."

Chef glared back. "Come on, you've finished your sentence for dumping toxic waste as well as letting a girl mutate."

"Whatever, I think I'll stay here." Chris pulled out a cashew net drawing of Chef's face. "Even Chef 2.0! I made it with a cashew."

Instead of replying back, Chef slid a folder through the door's slot.

Chris grabbed it, looking at it suspiciously. "What's this?"

"Your contract. The producers authorized another season." Chef smiled. "So you're in-"

"On light again!" Chris cut him off with a big smirk.

Cameras pop out from trees and the ground surrounding the studio complex where the new season is taking place.

The door opens, revealing Chris Mclean who smiles and gestures as the camera moves past him.

The pods are shown with the cast stepping in, placing the visors over their heads and there is a flash of light.

A digital landscape is shown, first showing Lightning and Jo underwater, fighting over a treasure chest that opens up to reveal Cameron inside.

Above the water, Owen and Scotty are shown swimming for their lives from a gigantic eel.

The scene suddenly changes, becoming a battle ground with Izzy driving a tank, chasing Justin and Brick who are screaming.

The scene then turns into space, with Cody and Noah sitting in the cockpits of space fighter jets. The two are followed by two more space fighter jets with B in one and Sam in the other, the latter laughing as if he was having the time of his life.

They fly over a planet that suddenly explodes and out comes a screaming Dawn and Beth.

LeShawna and Heather are shown fighting with glowing swords resembling lightsabers, LeShawna easily taking Heather down.

Harold is shown meditating in a dojo before what looks like a Poke-Ball hits him in the face, knocking him.

The perpetrator is revealed to be Duncan who is standing next to Gwen who is dressed as a wizard in a blue robe with a pointed hat while holding a staff who shakes her head and turns around to see Courtney aiming a ray gun at her, both her and Duncan ducking as Courtney starts shooting with a mad look on her face.

Bridgette and Geoff are then shown on a surfboard, riding down a river of…lava and being attacked by a lava monster that throws a flaming rock at them.

(Cause, I wanna be famous!)

Noah is then shown nervously holding boxing gloves as he faces down Eva who punches him but is then attacked by a feral Ezekiel.

Tyler is then shown in a sports themed digital challenge, playing baseball and ends up getting hit in the face by the ball. Followed by this, Lindsay is shown in the camera room like before on Total Drama Action, pushing button that causes an explosion and DJ is shown running for his life from giant mutated animals.

Katie and Sadie are shown next in VR pod room, trying to figure out how to hook the Total Drama Machine to a pod that then explodes.

The opening sequence ends in the main room where Zoey and Mike are about to kiss but as the contestants gather with Chris and Chef shown, all of them smiling or scowling at the camera as the song ends.

A group of young teens enjoying a normal life...

Jeremy smiled as he was almost glad to be at school. A new year was about to start, and Jeremy was excited. He was excited to meet new people, have new classes, and see his old friends. He would see Yumi, Ulrich, Odd, and Aelita.

And it was two years without having to worry about going to Lyoko to fight XANA. They destroyed him nearly two years ago.

"We're here." said Mr. Belpois.

"Bye, Mom, Dad, I'll send you guys an e-mail tonight." said Jeremy.

He ran out of the car before his parents could remind of something or say goodbye. He first saw the P.E. teacher Jim and remembered how many times he found the supercomputer only to not remember after a trip to the past and the time he fought off a horde of XANA's monsters. He looked at the usual bench and saw Odd and Aelita sitting on it.

"Hey, Jeremy!" shouted Odd.

"Hey, guys how was your summer?" asked Jeremy.

"Same old, same old. What about you?" Odd.

Yumi and Ulrich came up and Yumi gave him a little hug. "How was your vacation?"

"Good, but it's great to be back." said Jeremy.

"Mine was as boring as usual." said Ulrich.

And it was two years without having to worry about going to Lyoko to fight XANA. They destroyed him nearly two years ago.

"We're here." said Mr. Belpois.

Another group competing for fame and riches...

"What up, Total Drama fans? This is Sierra, number one blogger for Total Drama here to let you know that there is another season of Total Drama that is about to happen!" The purple haired mega-fan squealed. "This would be the third year of Total Drama's run. The series began with Total Drama Island starting on July 5th 2007 and ended eight weeks later, ending in early September. Then Total Drama special known as Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island happens at least two days after the conclusion of Total Drama Island and is then followed by Total Drama Action which lasted about six weeks. The special known Total Drama: Celebrity Manhunt begins a year later in early May and follows through with World Tour and ends in August. Then Season Four, Total Drama: Revenge of the Island starts at the beginning of September and ends in the same month.

"And now, this new season named Total Drama Reality is taking place a year later at the start of September 2009. Hope you are all as excited as me to be here and have another chance with my Cody-kins!" Sierra let out another squeal as she ended her blog.

Almost nothing could connect them together...

In the newly upgraded and redesigned Lyoko, pulsation ran along the soft grassy paths of the Forest Sector before reaching a tower, the blue surrounding turning red.

It didn't end there.

In the Ice Sector, a tower's aura changed from blue to red.

Red energy pulsed along the cables to a tower in the Desert Region of Lyoko, this one positioned on top of a small mountain with only a small plateau around it for footing.

And lastly, a tower in the mountain sector was active.

Until they are brought together...

"Uh...Chris, we have a problem." One of the workers, Robby said.

"What now?" Chris groaned.

"Something's wrong, the computer isn't responding to anything...we're still broadcasting but-" Suddenly the screen went blank. All contestants that hadn't found a star and been removed remained comatose within their pods.

"Get the campers out of there!" Chris shouted.

"I can't, the safety switch isn't working! Everything's locked up!" Robby replied.

"Chris...what is that?" Chef pointed at the monitor, where a strange red symbol had appeared in a field of white.

It looked like an eye.

By the return of an old enemy

"Hm? Uh, Jim is something wrong with the- oh!" Delmas dropped his microphone in shock as electricity crackled from it. "What is going on?!"

Suddenly the image appeared on the screen, same as the billions that appeared on every TV, computer, or cell phone in France. It was blood red, as were the words, bathing the entire gymnasium in a red ominous light.

Aelita's eyes widened, and for a moment she went limp against Jeremy, who caught her. Many people had risen to their feet, murmuring and whispering to each other, slowly getting nervous as they looked at the screen.

"Jeremy, is that what I think it is? Please tell me I had too much soda and that it's gone to my head, and I've flipped my lid." Odd whispered to Jeremy through clenched teeth.

"I-I...I don't..." Jeremy stammered. "Impossible..."

All of the Lyoko Fighters were paralyzed from the seeing the Eye of the enemy that they had fought and killed two years ago appear before them, staring them right in the face.

William, who had spent most of his time possessed by XANA. He was free now...and he sure as hell wanted to stay free, the mere sight of this symbol made him relive every moment in purgatory that he had experienced under XANA's control. Every moment had been like a lifetime.

"He-he-but, supposed to be gone!" He was just above a whisper, but luckily nobody heard him as the whispers arose to questions made at an outdoor volume.

He felt his heart beating and then he heard it…

A pulsing sound that resembled the beating of a heart.

He knew what it was because he had heard it before.

The sound of a heart…

XANA's heart.

Now the world is in great danger...

"How's it going?" Jeremy asked.

"Bad. It looks like XANA upgraded his monsters and they're giving Odd and Ulrich a hard time." Yumi stepped aside, allowing Jeremy to take the seat at the computer.

And the once warriors of a hidden world find themselves in more danger than before

"Jeremy, what's going on?" Aelita called out, trying to keep herself standing.

"Some kind of massive energy surge from the network. It's coming from the Replikas!"

From the digital came a pillar of red energy that shot up into the digital sky which then began to darken. The white glowing energy of the XANA-Destruction Program shot at the spiral of red energy but rather than disrupting it, the white light jerked back, away from the red energy and began to dim and then without warning, shattered.

"Impossible!"

"Jeremy, what's going on?" Yumi along with Ulrich stared up at the spiral of red energy.

"The multi-agent system…it collapsed…. I don't believe it!" Jeremy stuttered. "Some sort of anti-virus program kicked in at the exact moment it came into contact with the energy…Oh no."

"Jeremy, what happened?" Ulrich asked impatiently.

"XANA…XANA neutralized the XANA-Destruction Program!" Jeremy exclaimed.

To save her friends and the world, one girl will need help.

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" She screamed and fell.

She tried crawling to the manhole but could hear the Tarantula coming closer.

"Aelita!" She heard William's voice.

She managed to lift her head to see William rushing out of the bushes towards her. "No! RUN!"

The Tarantula halted and lifted its arms, aiming its cannons as William who came to an immediate halt. "Oh boy…"

But will it be enough

"HAIIIIII-YAH!" LeShawna slammed her piece of metal into the side of the Tarantula's face, surprising it and XANA who had been watching through its eyes. "Hell yeah!"

The Tarantula staggered before DJ leaped on it, repeatedly smacking it with his own makeshift weapon until it threw him off.

Geoff attacked next, trying to stab his makeshift pick down into its head while riding the monster. It bucked and roared.

"Yippee aye yay-ah!" It threw him into the air. "Oh this is gonna hurt!" He hit the ground. "I'm ok!"

Gwen and Bridgette in the meantime, picked up and carried Aelita behind a tree where Cameron was waiting.

"Are you alright?" Bridgette asked as she looked at the wound.

"I... yes, thank you!" Aelita hissed in pain.

Coming soon, a remake of an action crossover, combining the action and drama of two worlds.

"Can you tell us what is going on? That guy almost got us turned into vegetables on live TV!" Geoff said.

"Help me and I'll tell you everything when we get where I need to be." Aelita said, pointing to the manhole. "I planned to use that manhole over there, but I can't climb... there's a factory near here, it's abandoned, I use it whenever he comes for me."

"To hide?" Gwen asked.

"To fight."

New friends

"I'm Geoff." Geoff said, taking off his scorched hat and gestured to DJ. "This is DJ."

"I'm Bridgette."

"The name's LeShawna."

"I'm Gwen."

"My name is Cameron." Cameron awkwardly introduced himself.

"And I am Dawn." Dawn spoke, looking over William's wounds and pulling out some bandages.

But will they be enough and who else may join this band of warriors to save their world from destruction?

Justin perked up, looking affronted. "Old?!"

"Food Enthusiast Owen, Scrawny Contestant Cody, and Loveable lame-brain Lindsey!"

"Finalist with a complicated love life: Beth!"

"Multiple Personality: Mike!"

"Hi." Mike simply waved at the camera.

"AKA, Chester."

Mike then changed into Chester who started complaining.

"Svetlana."

Followed by Svetlana.

"Vito."

He changed then into Vito.

"And Manitoba!"

He changed to Manitoba before changing back to Mike. "Not cool, man!"

"Mike's crush and wears too much red powerhouse: Zoey!"

"Athlete non-partner: Lightning!"

"Daddy's girl: Dakota!"

"And Game-Boy: Sam!"

"Private Bed-Wetter: Brick!"

All three occupants felt a gust of wind from beneath them as a ring of light traveled up their bodies.

"Home boy turned feral boy: Ezekiel!" The mutated boy snarled, only to be caught by a claw shot out by the Drama Machine.

"Just…kidding!" Chris laughed. "Yeah, he's not coming back…Ever."

With that, the Drama Machine aimed and shot Ezekiel through a window, the mutated boy letting out a scream.

"And here's Alejandro! Or Darth Alejandro."

"Crazy-In-Training Courtney"

Total Drama's number one blogger: Sierra"

Sierra squealed as soon as she saw Cody. "Hi Cody!"

"Hey it's the scary chick!" Chris said...before he ducked as a fist buried itself into the wall above him. "Say hello to Eva!"

"Boyfriend Stealer Gwen."

"Up and Has-Been Reality TV Star LeShawna."

"Music Boy Trent."

"Former assistant and Cody-Kisser: Noah!"

"World's Worst Jock: Tyler!"

"And…Blainley!"

"WHAT?!"

Blainley herself was dragged in, kicking and screaming before the Drama Machine. "Chris, what are you-"

"Just kidding again." Chris snickered. "No way am I letting you back on either, Mildred!"

With that, the Drama Machine shot Blainley through the same window as Ezekial, causing nearly everyone to flinch.

"Those poor souls." Dawn whispered.

"Virtualization."

They closed their eyes as a pure white light filled the scanner, keeping them from seeing anything beyond what Cameron said.
