Chapter 3-11: You Sure, Mom?

Silver turns to Dylla and asks, "What are you all selling at the White Rabbit Deliveries stall?"

"Cronuts," Dylla says.

"Cronuts?" Sereia questions.

Dylla says, "You probably saw them at some other stalls, but people in the Queendom of Roses have a voracious appetite for pastries."

"Pies, tarts, quiches, croissants... I love them all," Deuce says, "But seems like cronuts are the newest big thing."

"They sound amazing! I bet Ruggie would eat a bunch of them if he were here," Epel says.

Dylla then presents the box full of cronuts, and each of them have different frosting and icing on it. And there are also some drinks.

"We're selling a little combo that comes with iced tea. Highly recommended," Dylla says.

Then Ortho says, "I notice your White Rabbit logo has been printed on the packaging."

"Talk about a sweet marketin' strategy," Grim says.

"I have to agree with you on that," Tanzanite says.

"People love that logo. We're a popular company here in town," Dylla says.

"Logo, schmogo. I wanna eat!" Grim says.

Confused, Dylla asks, "Really? Didn't you eat before you got here?"

"Not NEARLY enough!" Grim says.

Dylla laughs, "Haha, I almost forgot how bottomless a student's stomach can be. Have as many as you like. It's on the house."

The gang cheers, "Woo hoo!"

Deuce then asks, "You sure, Mom? I'd feel bad not paying…"

"You can make it up to me by helping pass out these fliers," Dylla says.

"So you want us to wrangle customers AND pass out fliers?" Deuce questions, shocked, "You know what, that's fine. At least that way we can chow down guilt-free."

"Let's eat," Silver says.

The girls say, "Thank you!"

"They look great!" The twins reply.

"My pleasure. Eat up!" Dylla says.

Epel eats the donuts, "Yum! So buttery and flaky!"

Grim laughs, "Myahaha! DELISH!"

"Mmhm," Silver says and eats the cronuts.

Ortho snaps a picture of them, "I've taken a wonderful photo of mine!"

Deuce eats them as well, "Thanks, Mom."

"Of course. Don't want you handing out fliers on an empty belly!" Dylla says.

Moments later, Deuce, Briar, and the others begin helping Dylla pass out fliers.

Deuce calls out, "Welcome to the White Rabbit Deliveries stall!"

"Can I interest you in a delicious cronut and iced tea combo?" Eepl calls out.

"Welcome to the White Rabbit Deliveries stall!" Sereia calls out.

"We have delicious cronuts and ice tea combo!" Briar calls out.

"I'd better pull my weight," Silver says. Then turns to a young boy, "...You there. Boy."

The boy yelps in surprise, "Gah!"

"Want a cronut?" Silver asks, firmly.

The child becomes scared, "M-Mooom!"

Epel notices it, "I think the kids are scared of Silver…"

"It's probably the way he's sprinting up to them all stone-faced…" Deuce says, "...and then barely saying anything."

"That sounds about right," Jasper says.

"Another one's run away. Everyone sure is in a hurry here," Silver says.

Epel sheepishly says, "He's taking it seriously at least…"

"Too seriously," Deuce says.

Soon, another child walks over, "Ooh! Look at the bunny!" and have their sights on Ortho.

The mother walks to Ortho and asks, "How cute! Can my child take a picture with you?"

"Sure!" Ortho says.

The mother holds her phone as the child joins Ortho and she takes a picture.

"Ortho's a big hit with the kids," Epel says.

"You can say that again…" Deuce says.

Grim instructs, "Minion, go pass out some fliers!"

"Aren't you going to help?" Jasper questions.

But Grim says, "No way, Jasper! Not when you can do enough for all of us!"

However, Briar calls out, "Hello, and welcome to the White Rabbit Deliveries stall!"

Some of the couples and family take the fliers and many of the young girls are excited to see Briar and Sereia. They think they're so cute.

"Look at Briar and Sereia go!" Deuce says.

"All the girls are all over them," Silver says.
