Maleficent pov

Smiling at the photos Bella sent me thanks to Regina I hum placing them up on the walls with the frames she helped me get.

Hearing a small whimpering cry I put the one I hold down and move to the pack and play picking up little Henry "Hello little prince" I coo swaying with him.

I haven't told Regina what I know about him, it was easy to figure out who he's related to when she introduced me to him, he's Snow White and Charming's grandson but he also has Rumple's scent.

By the way it's muted down I easily figured out he's Emma's son and unless Rumple's had another son then Baelfire some how got his hands on my daughter in law.

She hasn't asked for my blessing but I've over looked it because she physically can't do it, when she gets here I hope Bella has told her of this custom so she can do it.

While I would never attack my baby's mate, my dragon will be unhappy with the match because it won't believe she's strong enough to be a worthy mate.

Typically it's the mate that it's presented to but with us having human forms, it shifted our expectations slightly, a show of strength would calm it down to accept her.

If she truly does bring my greatest enemies heart or themselves before me, it would be even better, I've yet to see that she's trustworthy because she could change her mind about revenge.

It's always hard to explain our dragons, like just because we meet our mate does not mean we become devoted to them right away, the mate bond has to be accepted by us both.

It's why I was able to meet my mate and still have a child with someone else, a dragons heat isn't something to play with either we mate or we rampage.

And young dragons have a similar experience, we always seek out the strongest to curb our urges, but instead of needing release we want comfort and company we feel from our clan, I'm certain that Lily returned during those times and took off after.

Hearing Henry babbling my curse name I smile stroking his cheek "we get classes as villains but we never blame an innocent child for the crimes of the adults they're related to" I tell him seeing him smile.

"How do I tell your momma that my daughter is your aunt or about who your related too without upsetting her?" I ask him while moving to my chair sitting down.

Hearing him babbling while looking around I nod humming "I agree, she would lose her temper and I'm still unsure how to tell Lily who I was with that resulted in her, I'm sure she'd try to go after her brother for touching her mate".

Glancing at the time I groan lifting him slightly before getting up "and now it's time for us to go meet her majesty at the diner" I mutter.

Grabbing his bag I head for the door walking out "I'm getting tired of the wolves jumpy skittishness around me, I'm tempted to bite them at this point" I add while tickling his belly making him laugh.

Lily pov

Pulling back up at the house I glance at Charlie seeing get out as Leah jumps out following us in.

Stepping in I frown more seeing a guy sat by Emma looking over something together and some women I don't recognize stood by Ingrid talking.

Glancing around more I see a banner saying congratulations Lily and Leah and balloons with police badges on them.

Before I can say anything Emma whips around and jumps up jumping on me wrapping her legs around my waist, after kissing her I glare at the man that's near her seeing him watching Emma.

"Lils, that's Drake he works with Charlie and he's Paul's cousin" Emma says waving her hand behind herself motioning to him"

Grunting I pull Emma closer while watching him "and the others?" I ask with a strained smile.

"Witches, Emmett and the others took off to locate them to help with training so they know what to expect fighting magic users, good news is vampires didn't exist back home so none of them would have an idea of how to fight them"

"That leaves the ones who like fire that will be treats because they may stumble across the knowledge by using it against them, and the wolf" I answer finally looking away from the guy when he ducks his eyes from me slightly exposing his neck.

"Are you finishing intimidating the human?" Emma snarks sarcastically making me shrug smirking before looking at Leah seeing her huff crossing her arms.

"Damn it Swan, why do you always gotta end the fun" she grunts before pulling Emma off me making her squeal laughing as she's flipped over Leah's shoulder.

Seeing them head outside I force myself to stay while wanting to follow them since Ingrid and Bella are trying to get to me without upsetting me by holding me here.

Hugging both Ingrid then smiles nudging towards the door and I take off after Emma and Leah finding them surrounded by the pack greeting Leah with her parents.

Heading over I smirk pulling Emma against me with my arm around her waist, I thought about the Clearwaters offer and decided to do it, between Charlie, Billy and Sarah, then them I've had parents that's all raised me together when my adopted parents couldn't be bothered.

I kinda like the idea of being Lily Clearwater, I can get rid of Page and the reminder of the shitty experience they gave me, I do wonder sometimes what would Emma and I be like without them, I like to think we'd always be friends like we have been before moving into a real relationship.

But I doubt that's what would have happened, this life shaped us in a way that a lot of the damage I had was healed because of these people.

"Mom, Dad" Leah says dramatically while putting an arm around my shoulders pinning Emma between us.

"Lily says she wants to be adopted by you" she finally says after a dramatic pause before placing a hand over her heat "oh, I'm gonna cry, finally I get a little sister" she adds fanning her face like she's going to cry.

Rolling my eyes I reach over yanking her hair as Emma ducks our rough housing to sit by Billy watching us.

Emma pov

Seeing Leah and Lily on the ground rolling around trying to pin each other I chuckle before noticing Seth slide up by me "you know, that means you're my sister too right?" He asks with a cheeky smile.

Humming I shrug "yeah, but I'd be more concerned about having them two as sisters or did you forget about them trying to make you into a baby sister for Leah?" I ask smirk.

Seeing him blush I chuckle nudging him with my shoulder "you did make a pretty girl but I don't think you could pull it off anymore".
