Chapter 13: The Incredibles[crossover]
Daytime
(It starts on the streets of New Urbem where the citizens were going about their normal lives until a car drove by with bandits at the wheel as the Incredible family were in the incredimobile chasing them as Mr. Incredible had trouble staying up with the bandits for they were shooting at him and his family.)
Elastigirl: Come on, get in as close as you can!
Mr. Incredible: Easier said than done! These guys won't stop shooting! (swerves a bit to avoid a few bullets from hitting them, causing his family to hang on tight from it.)
Violet: If they weren't shooting at us with so many, I would be able to put up a forcefield!
Dash: How would the car go if it's in one?
(The family moved around a bit from Mr. Incredible swerving the car around the corner to keep chasing the bandits but had trouble with how many bullets the bandits were shooting. The bandits were about to get away only for the car to be stopped roughly, causing the airbags to be released against them as Mr. Incredible stopped the Incredimobile from what he and his family saw.)
Mr. Incredible: What the?
Bandit: (Kicks the car door open to escape the car with the other bandits.) Leave the money!
(The Incredibles were confused about who the bandits mean until a few feathers were shot at the bandits, restraining them on the ground as the one that caught them revealed to be Owlette when she flew over to the bandits.)
Owlette: Looks like I came to New Urbem on time.
Dash: (zooms over to Owlette in excitement.) That was so cool!
Owlette: Thanks, I've handled bigger threats than them though.
Mr. Incredible: (walks over to Owlette with the rest of his family as Elastigirl carries Jack-Jack.) I have to admit, that was good timing.
Violet: How'd you stop that car without budging from one spot?
Owlette: It's an Owlarion thing.
Elastigirl: Owlarion? As in the Owlarions that were lost years ago?
Mr. Incredible: Owl-what?
Elastigirl: Owlarion, said to be the most powerful beings in the universe, I didn't think the princess would come here.
Mr. Incredible: Princess?
Owlette: Yup, I'd stick around, but I got somewhere to be, later! (snaps her fingers and teleports away.)
Dash: Cool.
(an hour later, Mr. Incredible arrived at Winston's place and went in to see Winston about the new hero in the city.)
Mr. Incredible: (opens the door to Winston's office and enters.) Hey Winston, can I talk to ya about something?
Winston Deavor: Oh, good timing, we were just talking about you.
Mr. Incredible: We?
Winston Deavor: Yeah, (gestures to his left for Mr. Incredible to see it was Owlette he was talking to.) She was telling me about how you and your family met her during that chase with the bandits.
Owlette: They were having trouble catching up to them with this, (holds up the gun that was from the chase which surprises Mr. Incredible.) It's a 20 inch rifle, a gun made to shoot at others without reloading.
Mr. Incredible: Aren't those...
Winston Deavor: Contraband? Yes, it's why I sent Owlette a postcard for help.
Owlette: I wondered who sent it.
Winston Deavor: (sits up and walks to the front of his desk to roll a clipshow about the mission.) You see, the reason I sent that postcard to you for help is because the one giving the criminals in town that weapon is making a fortune, (goes to another clip as Owlette was inspecting the rifle by trying to disassemble it by starting to bite it.) in which they'll use to expand their operation across the world.
Mr. Incredible: How are we gonna find the one supplying them? (gets startled from Owlette's body puffing up like a balloon from turning a little knob on the side for a bunch of steam to fly out through a tube she was biting.) What the? (grabs the rifle and pulls it out for Owlette to fly around the room wildly from releasing the steam through her mouth.)
Winston Deavor: With her help. (holds his hand out, palm upwards for Owlette to be back to normal and land on his hand like a ballerina.)
Mr. Incredible: Does she even know all the powers she has?
Owlette: I'm still learning them, I found out about that balloon one a few days ago, it's pretty handy for balloon rides.
(Mr. Incredible pinched the bridge of his nose, annoyed by how it's gonna go for the mission they're gonna go on.)
Nighttime
(In an alley, Owlette was in the Incredimobile with Mr. Incredible and his friend Frozone, looking out for any villain activity as they talked about their lives.)
Frozone: And that's how it went.
Mr. Incredible: Baron Von Ruthless has a tendency of monologuing his plans.
Owlette: Many villains do that, but the villains back where I live don't always do that.
Frozone: For real?
Owlette: Yeah, most of the villains in my town only appear at night though, and their kids. (sees a car drive by with howling.) The Wolfies!? What are they doing here?
Mr. Incredible: Wolfies?
Owlette: Three kids that turn into wolves at night, and the car they were in is the Wolf Wheelz, it can even drive itself.
Frozone: A car that can drive itself? Sounds kinda like the Incredimobile.
Mr. Incredible: We'll see how dangerous they are when we catch up to them.
Owlette: I'll go on ahead and try to slow them down. (jumps out of the window and flies after the Wolf Wheelz.)
Frozone: Whoa! That was a crazy stunt, even for her!
Mr. Incredible: Owlarions. (starts up the Incredimobile and chases after the Wolf Wheelz.)
(Owlette stayed close to the Wolf Wheelz to try and catch the Wolfies, only for Rip to look back and notice Owlette chasing them.)
Rip: It's bird brain! (stands up from her seat and howls Owlette away, only to see Owlette now running real fast on the road.) Showoff!
Frozone: Whoa! (shakes Mr. Incredible's shoulder in shock.) Are you seeing what I'm seeing!?
Mr. Incredible: Yes! Now stop shaking me, I'm trying to drive!
(Mr. Incredible pushed the gas pedal down further to make the Incredimobile go faster and turned on the headlights to blind Rip a bit, which caused her to fall onto Howler, making him lose control of the Wolf Wheelz and crash into the park of New Urbem with Mr. Incredible stopping the Incredimobile outside the park for him and Frozone to step out and head towards the Wolf Wheelz with Owlette appearing in between the two adult heroes, startling Frozone in the process.)
Owlette: Good call with the headlights.
Frozone: Man, gotta give us some warning before you do something like that.
Mr. Incredible: My guess is Owlarions are like that sometimes.
Owlette: You guessed it.
(Just as the three go close to the Wolf Wheelz, the Wolfies jumped out and howled at them, blowing them away, sending Mr. Incredible and Frozone into some bushes while Owlette slammed into a tree, getting her head stuck in the hole of it.)
Mr. Incredible: You didn't tell me all of them can do that!
Owlette: (muffled.) You didn't ask. (gets pulled out of the tree by Mr. Incredible.)
Frozone: at least there's three of them, one for each of us. (steps back a bit from hearing the Wolf Wheelz turn on and saw it driving by itself when it moved out of where it was and next to the Wolfies.) Oh come on!
Owlette: The moon does give them their powers when it's nighttime.
Mr. Incredible: That would've been good to know when you told us about them.
Owlette: I would, but I sensed something off when they drove by, it was almost like the rifle those bandits used to try and slow you down.
Frozone: So whoever is supplying those rifles, have others deliver them!
(Just then, the Wolfies howled again, but the three heroes jumped out of the way in time before the howl could knock them away.)
Mr. Incredible: Yeesh! (he then noticed the Wolf Wheelz coming at him and held his hands forward to try and stop it, but felt himself getting pushed back a bit from the Wolf Wheelz still going.) This is unlike any villain we've faced, Frozone!
Frozone: Don't have to tell me twice! (moves around in the air by shooting ice in his path to slide on as Howler and Kevin were trying to knock him off.) These villains Owlette faces don't quit!
Owlette: (speeds around the park with Rip trying to knock her back until she ran around Rip, making her dizzy and ran to Mr. Incredible.) That was before they got the power of badness.
Mr. Incredible: So you're the one that destroyed the great disaster for good?
Owlette: Yup, but that just lead to another villain getting the power of badness.
Frozone: A hero making a villain, been there, done... (gets knocked over from Howler hitting him with a howl, making him scream as Owlette saw this and transformed into her Polarion outfit to make a path of ice for Frozone to land on safely and continue on.) I didn't know you could do that!
Owlette: There are four other ancient nations that are like the Owlarions. (transforms back into her Owlarion outfit.) that was the Polarion power, I haven't found the other three yet. (hears Rip about to howl her from behind only to let out a screech at Rip, making her roll backwards into Howler and Kevin, knocking them over.)
Kevin: We're okay!
Mr. Incredible: (starts to lose his grip and lifts the Wolf Wheelz to get it off its wheels and catch his breath.) Phew, for a car, it's really tough.
Owlette: Keep the Wolf Wheelz in the air. (flies over to the trunk of the Wolf Wheelz and opens it to see a bunch of 20 inch rifles inside.) I knew it, they were delivering the same rifle those bandits were using.
Frozone: Why are you Wolfies delivering these rifles? Those are contraband weapons!
Howler: We were told to do it by someone named Evelyn after she fixed the Wolf Wheelz for us.
Mr. Incredible: Evelyn!? (puts the Wolf Wheelz down with Owlette still looking in the trunk of it.) I thought she was in prison?
Frozone: She's the one selling those weapons!?
Kevin: She said she was gonna dismantle the Wolf Wheelz if we didn't do it.
Owlette: (leans over from the trunk of the Wolf Wheelz.) You didn't tell her where you live, right?
Rip: Nope, she just told us to deliver those things after fixing our ride.
Owlette: (closes the trunk and floats over to the Wolfies.) Good to know, I took care of the contraband so you can head back home.
Howler: You what!? How!?
Owlette: (lets out a small screech, scaring the Wolfies into making them climb back into the Wolf Wheelz and drive away in fright.) Sometimes you gotta be firm with them.
Frozone: I'm just glad you took care of the weapons.
Mr. Incredibles: But what I'm curious about is how Evelyn got out of prison.
Owlette: That is a thinker.
Frozone: How are we supposed to find clues on how she escaped?
Mr. Incredible: Do you have any skills that can help with that, Owlette?
Owlette: (sniffs the air, getting a trace of something.) I think I can help with that, but we're gonna need the whole team.
Daytime
(At the prison, Owlette, Frozone and the Incredible family were at the scene where Evelyn's cell is to see it the wall was blown off with one next to it to investigate it as a police officer was telling them what happened while Owlette was inspecting the hole of the prison.)
Police Officer: We aren't sure how, but someone helped her escape, whoever it was, they probably teamed up.
Mr. Incredible: Great, not only did Evelyn escape, but she partnered up with another villain!
Owlette: (sniffs a part of the hole.) There's a bit of gunpowder on it, a bomb for that matter.
Dash: Bomb? Who would use a bomb to escape?
Mr. Incredible: Bomb Voyage.
Elastigirl: That explains how it was taken down.
Owlette: And the hole over here! (gets their attention from behind to see the entrance of a tunnel near the prison gate wall.)
Frozone: You've got to be kidding me.
Mr. Incredible: Underminer? Why would he team up with Evelyn and Bomb Voyage?
Owlette: From my experience, they're the ones making the weapons and selling it to other villains.
Violet: Okay, That's not a good thing.
Elastigirl: We have to find them, fast!
Owlette: (sniffs the air, getting a whiff of something.) The trail is faint, but just enough for me to track them down.
Frozone: Care to explain? (stumbles a bit from Owlette tracking the smell while walking on the ground on all four like a dog.) Not the answer I had in mind!
Owlette: (continues to track the smell and heads down into the tunnel, giving off a bright red glow in the dark.) This way! I got their scent!
Dash: Whoa! She's got the nose like a dog! (zooms into the tunnel to follow Owlette with Violet following behind.)
Elastigirl: That's pretty handy. (follows the kids into the tunnel as Jack-Jack laughed.)
Mr. Incredible: She's just full of surprises. (jumps down into the tunnel with Frozone following behind, groaning about it.)
(In the tunnel, Frozone and the Incredible family were following Owlette through the tunnel, making twists and turns through it until Owlette stopped near a metal grate shaped like a door to see they have reached a hidden underground villain lair.)
Mr. Incredible: Okay, this lair is big.
Owlette: It's an underground lair, I've seen comics about this kind of thing.
Dash: This feels like the show I watched last night.
Frozone: Wait, what's that? (points at something that looked familiar to them.)
Violet: Is that...
Mr. Incredible: The Omnidroid? But I thought it was destroyed.
Elastigirl: They must've rebuilt it somehow.
(Without warning, the way they came in got blocked by a metal wall, trapping them.)
Frozone: That's not good.
(The heroes then heard laughing and saw Evelyn at the controls of a hovering platform with Bomb Voyage and Underminer on one of their own, behind her.)
Evelyn: I had a feeling you would come, sooner than I thought though.
Underminer: Yeah, we never got to get everything prepared.
Bomb Voyage: Oh, ferme-la, espèce de mineur stupide ! Je t'avais dit de fermer le tunnel après notre fuite ! [Translation: oh shut it you stupid miner! I told you to seal off the tunnel after we made our escape!]
Underminer: (points at Evelyn in defense.) She told me to leave it open!
Evelyn: That's enough.
Mr. Incredible: I see you three have some disagreements.
Eveyln: That we do, but there's one thing we agree on, heroes!
Elastigirl: Should've seen that coming.
Bomb Voyage: Comment nous as-tu trouvés si vite ? [Translation: how did you even find us so fast?]
Violet: That would be her. (gestures to Owlette, only to find she wasn't with them.) Owlette?
Underminer: Owlette?
Evelyn: Must be seeing things.
Bomb Voyage: Ouais, qui que soit cette Bibou, elle a probablement des pouvoirs comme un... ([translation: Yeah, whoever this Owlette is, probably has powers like an ordinary...] notices Owlette on top of the Underminer's head with her tippy toes, taunting him.) Chouette! ([translation: Owl!] grabs a pipe from a work bot and swings down at Owlette, only to hit the Underminer's head from Owlette teleporting out from sight.)
Underminer: Ow! What was that for!?
Bomb Voyage: La fille hibou était au-dessus de ta tête ! [translation: The owl girl was on top of your head!]
Evelyn: Focus you two, we got work to do. (pilots her platform to a control section of the lair with Bomb Voyage and Underminer following behind.)
Mr. Incredible: (whispering.) Now that they're not looking, we have to find a way to get this open.
Owlette: (holds up a key to Mr. Incredible, revealing herself to be outside the trap.) Would this help?
Frozone: (takes the key to unlock the door.) This has got to be the adventure I've been on.
Owlette: This is gonna be tough, but I have an idea on how we can stop them.
(On the control section of the lair, Evelyn was typing a few things in to modify the Omnidroid as Bomb Voyage and Underminer were bored.)
Underminer: How long until it's ready?
Evelyn: It takes time, don't rush me.
Bomb Voyage: Il faut juste avoir de la patience. [translation: You just need to have patience.]
Underminer: Hey, you hit me on the head with a pipe when you thought you saw a... (notices Owlette on top of Bomb Voyage's head with her tippy toes, taunting him.) Owl! (grabs a pipe to whack Owlette, only to whack Bomb Voyage from Owlette teleporting out of sight.)
Bomb Voyage: Sacré bleu ! Pourquoi as-tu... ([translation: Sacre bleu! Why did you...] notices Owlette back on top of the Underminer's head and swings a pipe at her, only to hit the Underminer again from Owlette teleporting out of sight again.)
(The two then started to hit each other on the head trying to get Owlette who is teleporting between the two while Evelyn is getting annoyed by it.)
Evelyn: (turns to the two and stops both of their swings.) Stop it! Both of you! (lets go of their pipes and grabs one of her own.) You two need to focus on what we're doing, you can't just... (notices the two looking at her oddly as they raise their pipes, ready to strike and hold her pipe out to defend herself.) Don't you two even dare, if either of you try it, I'll... (realizes why when she looked up to see Owlette standing on her head with her tippy toes, taunting them and raised her pipe up until it was behind Owlette's head, who then realized they aren't attacking and looked down only for her to knock Owlette off her head by whacking Owlette on the back of the head and onto the floor.) So you're the reason they were doing it. (turns her attention to the trap to see the Incredibles and Frozone are free and looked around to see they are making their way to the Omnidroid.) She was the distraction! You two go after them! (points to where the two teams are for Bomb Voyage and Underminer to go after them.) I'll handle this one.
Owlette: (superspeeds out of the way of Evelyn's attack.) Did you think it would be that easy? I'm the Owlarion Princess. I... (gets trapped in a small cage.)
Evelyn: You should be aware of your surroundings, even from above.
(With Mr. Incredible, he, Elastigirl and Jack-Jack were heading up the stairs until a bomb was thrown onto their path, causing them to jump back as the bomb blew up, destroying the stairs while Violet, Dash and Frozone rolled away from the ramp they were on only for it to be destroyed from the Underminer using a ray gun at it.)
Underminer: Ha! Not so tough now!
Bomb Voyage: Ces améliorations sont étonnantes ! [translation: These upgrades are astounding!]
Evelyn: You heroes really thought you could stop the three of us? We were able to stop you without breaking a... (turns to the cage, Owlette is in only to realize Owlette isn't in it and panicked.) Where'd the Owl go!?
Mr. Incredible: You really thought one of us was gonna stop your plan before it could expand around the world?
Evelyn: Grr! Find that... (flinches from hearing a loud metal banging sound and turns to see the head of the Omnidroid was taken off and looked up to see Owlette had destroyed it.) No!
Bomb Voyage: Cela ne s'annonce pas bien pour nous. [translation: This isn't looking good for us.]
Underminer: Use the odd purple orb those festive bandits gave us on the device you're making!
Mr. Incredible: Purple what?
Evelyn: This. (holds up what it was revealing to be the same orb from Tarabiscoville.)
Owlette: Ah! (teleports out of the cage.) Don't let her put it in the machine!
(Owlette then began trying to grab the orb from Evelyn who then threw it to Bomb Voyage who started running with Mr. Incredible chasing him until he tossed the orb to Underminer, who stumbled from catching it until he threw it back to Evelyn, who pushed Owlette away to catch the orb and place it into the machine, causing it to activate.)
Owlette: Oh no, it's... (gets a whiff of the steam coming from it and figures out what the machine is.) It's a revival-device. She's bringing someone back from the dead!
Elastigirl: A revival-device?
Mr. Incredible: Who are they bringing back?
?: An old friend.
(The heroes started to step back from the voice they heard only to be stopped by some zero point energy beams causing them to freeze and float in the air as the one that is using it to walk out of the entrance of the device revealing to be Syndrome who then deactivated the zero point energy beams for the heroes to fall to the ground, groaning.)
Mr. Incredible: Buddy? I thought...
Syndrome: It's Syndrome! (shoots a bolt of lighting from his gauntlets at Mr. Incredible, making him struggle in pain.) You should know that by now, I'm done with the hero life that night, remember?
Frozone: Yeesh, turning a hero into a villain? That's not...
Syndrome: Shut it! (shoots a beam of zero point energy at Frozone and throws him at the rest of the Incredible family.) You may be wondering how I'm stronger, well it's because of the power from that orb, it's quite powerful.
Owlette: That power is from a giant Psychoactive asteroid! (flies toward Syndrome only for Syndrome to shoot a bunch of lightning at her, causing her to fall to the ground.)
Syndrome: Interesting. It took a single bolt to take Mr. Incredible down, but a bunch to take this one down? Let's see how much you can handle. (begins shooting more lightning at Owlette, making her struggle in pain)
(Owlette tried to stand up, but Syndrome's power was strong from the power of the Psychoactive asteroid, she thought she was done for until Violet places a forcefield around Syndrome, making him get hit by his own lightning which made the other three villains mad and about to interject only for Frozone to freeze them in place giving Elastigirl the chance to grab the three and toss them into the trap and close the gate, locking them in, once Violet took down her forcefield, Dash zoomed in and ran around Syndrome, spinning him around until Mr. Incredible grabbed him and threw him into the air for Jack-Jack to shoot a laser at Syndrome knocking him onto the control pad in front of the revival-device for Owlette to teleport beside Syndrome, causing him to stand up in fright.)
Syndrome: You got a lot of nerve trying to stop me!
Owlette: Can't you see the power of the Psychoactive asteroid is really dangerous? It'll corrupt your mind if you don't have full control of it!
Syndrome: Corrupt me? How would it...
Owlette: Think about it! The amount of that power from a small asteroid is enough to turn a single person bad, a big one is enough to give a group of villains new powers, but the amount of power from an enormous asteroid is extremely dangerous!
Syndrome: What?
Owlette: Look... at... your hands.
Syndrome: (looks at his hands to see them turning purple.) What the? What's...
Owlette: The one that made that power is the same one that made the great disaster, the one that made it sped up the time on it to make it come to earth early because of how much I've progressed! But I stopped it for good only to make a bunch of orbs filled with that power! And now it's starting to corrupt you! So tell me, what are you gonna do?
(Syndrome looked between his hands and the device that brought him back about what Owlette said until he started to charge up another attack causing Owlette to brace herself, but when she heard the lightning crackle, she didn't feel it and saw Syndrome was shooting the lightning at the revival-device which surprised the other heroes as the villains freaked out from what's happening.)
Evelyn: What are you doing!?
Syndrome: What's right! (increases the power of lightning from his gauntlets at the revival-device, causing the whole lair to start shaking.) You have to get out of here!
Owlette: What about you?
Syndrome: They made a flaw in this device, I can only be around if this machine is functioning, but once it's destroyed, I'll go back to where I was before it was made to bring me back.
Owlette: We can find a way to help you, we just...
Syndrome: Just go!
(Owlette saw Syndrome was serious about destroying the device and flew down to where the others are, grabbed the trap door and pulled it off.)
Owlette: We have to go now!
Mr. Incredible: What about...
Owlette: He told us to get out of here! He's doing what's right by destroying it! Now let's go!
(The heroes went back in the tunnel with Mr. Incredible picking Bomb Voyage and Underminer over his shoulders while Elastigirl grabbed Evelyn on their way up as Syndrome continued to overpower the device until it started to spark all over the lair stating it's getting close to blowing up, Syndrome looked back to where the others went and smiled about the choice he made then closed his eyes as the revival-device blew up, taking Syndrome and the whole lair with it, the heroes kept going until the blast of the explosion blew a huge gust of wind through the tunnel, pushing the group through it and out the way they came, back onto the courtyard of the prison they were at for the police to cuff the three villains and escort them to some cells.)
Police Officer: Well done, that was quite the entrance you made.
Mr. Incredible: Thank Owlette, she found the villains' lair and brought someone back to the good side.
Owlette: I feel bad we couldn't save... (hears a glass thudding sound and turned around to see the purple orb in front of the tunnel entrance.) Syndrome.
Dash: How'd he get that orb up here after destroying the machine?
Violet: It's best to leave certain things a mystery.
Frozone: Yeah, I'm kinda wondering the same thing.
Owlette: These orbs don't break from impact, only when they find a suitable person to give evil powers to.
Elastigirl: That would be bad.
Mr. Incredible: Who's supplying them though?
Owlette: One of the villains said the ones that gave them this orb were festive, right?
Underminer: You bet!
Bomb Voyage: Oh, veux-tu... [translation: Oh, will you...] (didn't get to say it from the Police throwing the Underminer into the cell, on top of him.)
Owlette: Whoever is paying them to give villains these orbs, is someone from my hometown!
Mr. Incredible: What are we waiting for? Let's get going!
Owlette: No, this is my mission, you guys are needed here.
Elastigirl: She's got a point, thanks for helping us with stopping this marketing scheme.
Owlette: Just helping others out, I'd stay longer, but I have to head back home, have to contain this orb so no other villain does anything with it. Until next time! (flies into the air, making her way home.)
Mr. Incredible: Goodbye Owlette!
Frozone: Hope to see ya back here!
Nighttime
(In Tarabiscoville, Owlette was heading back to PJ HQ as she was holding the orb, once she got to PJ HQ, the cat flap opened for Owlette to fly inside revealing all the items and furniture from her house are inside PJ HQ as she landed on the ground for the systems of the HQ to start up with a wall sliding up from the ground to be an empty display case for Owlette to put the orb in one of the slots of it.)
Owlette: I'm not sure how many of these orbs there are, but I'm gonna make sure I find them and secure them here so no villain can use them to strengthen their powers.
(Owlette then went to the cameras to look for villain activity, but unknown to her, a sinister female laugh was made from the orb.)
