A/n: Hey guys, Ima keep pumping these jawns out, since we were up to fourteen before I realized that my erratic train of thoughts are a bit too chaotic to keep up with, so don't be alarmed with the how rapid these chapters will keep coming okay? Haha Also thank you Frikiionda and Anyi Tobar for following, favoriting, and everything elsing me and NGCS.
Side notes: I think I'm gonna start thanking Y'all. I should've thought of this sooner huh? Here's a big virtual hug from me to the awesome person that included me in the Best of the Best Femslash community! I feel so special and warm (even though I'm freezing my ass off at work while I write this).
She was annoyed.
Cold.
And most importantly, numb.
She didn't understand why he had left her again. She didn't care to think things thoroughly through. It would hurt her too much anyway. All she knew was that she had been here for quite a while and she couldn't, no no she wouldn't leave this place.
'Isle Esme,' her mind prompted her sluggish thoughts. She flinched in response. She hated when her mind did that. Nothing and no one ever listened to her. So why did she expect her own mind to?
She rolled over, pulled the comforter tighter around her shivering torso, and looked out the window to their bedroom.
She winced.
More tears.
'Why?'
She loved him. She was in love with him.
'Why?'
She willed herself not to look at the shredded pieces of the letters he had written her. She didn't want his stupid letters. She didn't want any more flowery bullshit excuses.
She sniffled, and let her vision become blurry.
She missed him. She wanted his cold embrace.
She needed him.
Where was she?
She blinked very slowly. The feeling of the sun was insistent behind her thin eyelids. She turned away from the suns nagging, and into a cold embrace. She smiled for the first time in days..or weeks..she wasn't sure of the measurements of time, but she knew that the days dragged and it felt like forever.
Eyes closed she snuggled into her husbands hold, her tension leaving her immediately. His scent waffled into her greedy nostrils slowly. Briefly, she frowned, before shrugging off the anomaly.
He didn't smell of the usual honeysuckles and freshly pressed clothes.
He smelled more..feminine. Like jasmine and new shoes.
No.
Like...new boots.
Absently she wondered why before opening her eyes and mouth simultaneously to ask him how could he desert his wife again when; her question never got the chance to leave her throat.
There was a woman here.
An inhumanly beautiful woman.
With red eyes.
Definitely not a Cullen.
Isabella licked her lips before bursting into tears.
Also this chapter I'm breaking this into two chapters..maybe three at maximum.
Still looking for a Beta or this story specifically. Any volunteers?
