A/N: Yes I deleted and re uploaded the same exact chapter just so I could fix some things. You probably won't spot the tiny differences anyway and on the off chance that you do, well kudos!

So I thought of a couple of different themes that could happen when I realized that's how I get off track for storytelling. There's so much potential that I could actually do and no one would see them coming that sometimes I feel like I have to rush through my writing so I don't lose my train of thoughts…

I say all that to just say that I wrote out a lengthy outline of what I might and could do so that A: I don't feel as though I have to rush through my writing so B, therefore, making it illegible. A win-win situation for us all ne? Anyway, I'll include the thank you's at the end. Sometimes long AN's piss me off bc I want to read them and be respectful and all but I also want to skip them because I just wanna read the damn story already!

'How disappointing.' The red-eyed vampire continued to silently gaze at Bella. Taking her in.

She supposed that the sobbing girl was pleasant-looking in that bookwormish type of way. Her brown hair wasn't remarkable, her lips were uneven, her skin was faintly flushed- giving her the redneck appearance, and her eyes were scrunched up as she cried.

The only thing faintly interesting about her was her irresistible scent. The red-eyed vampire smiled and took a huge deep breath of it.

When she cried the scent bloomed. Briefly, she wondered what else she could do-besides being absolutely still- to make the girl cry.

"Intoxicating," she purred as she leaned in closer to the girl. Immediately her close proximity seemed to snap the girl out of her Despair.

Bella slowly leaned away swallowing uneasily. Rapidly her tears dried while her brown eyes kept flickering between the door and the vampire.

Ultimately the human decided any attempt to escape would be futile, and she wasn't just risking her life for a slim chance of freedom. Where would she go after miraculously beat the vamp to the door? She was on an island for God's sake and-

She gasped and hurriedly fumbled with tugging away the comforter and pulling up her shirt to look at her stomach. Forgetting the red-eyed vampire she stumbled towards the long dressing mirror and yanked up her shirt, horrified And mystified.

"I'm pregnant," the words slipped out of her treacherous tongue, the conviction and confidence of the small but hard bulge protruding from her tiny shorts adding further supporting evidence for her claim.

How could she have forgotten? How could she have slipped so soundly into her depression over being abandoned again by her husband that she would've died if she hadn't faintly remembered she was a mother?

A single tear fell from her eye as she caressed her package, her eyes far away and unseeing. The woman vampire smoothly came up behind her and wiped a tear while cupping her tiny bugle, surprised at the sheer likeness of the skin.

"Do not cry young Isabella," she purred into the silent woman's ear. "Although this simply makes my job a lot harder." The woman frowned only to recoil as the woman's stomach kicked at her palm.

Wide-eyed and confused both species looked at each other before looking at her stomach again.

She was hungry. Faint pangs of hunger kept scratching at her, reminding her of its presence every few hours, never letting her rest.

She was in Forks, and couldn't find the damned human. Based on Edwards words she should've crossed by the human relatively soon.

A scent-a strong singer- like that would attract all sorts of dangers until it-they were killed. Or turned. But the latter of the matter was extremely unlikely seeing how Singers were always killed.

The truth of the matter was that she was back to square one, just in unfamiliar territory.

Furthering her short temper.

'Bloody fucking hell,' she swore to herself mentally, 'where are you?'

Her misty eyes glared at the constant barrage of greenery, and the almost nonexistent footprints left behind.

She decided to switch her direction. If she couldn't work out where in this godforsaken town was the damned human, maybe she could find the Cullens instead.

A/n: This chapter was a bit harder to work out. A split decision was made while writing this. Anyway, onto the thank you's.

And a special thank you to nashmeira, your review meant a lot to me. The highlight of my day actually.

This story will have some Kate/Bella moments but not much since the story's summary gives a brief outline of what will happen between the two.
