"It's been two days since they've been gone." said Rachel.
"Be patient," said Chiron. "They will be back."
"Or they're dead." said Mr D.
"You're not helping."
"But what if Mr D is right?" said Rachel. "Who knows whether they are alive or dead? And I feel so... useless without giving a prophecy."
"We can't do much, Rachel. It's up to them to figure it out." said Chiron.
"But I'm tired of that, Chiron, I want to go outside and do quests and adventures."
"Rachel, you're too important to lose. You're a oracle which makes you a target and you're a mortal which means you can very easily be killed."
"I have done things before!"
"Like throwing a comb at Kronos - the All Supreme King of the Titans?" laughed Mr D.
"I'm just getting so tired of being left on the side.
"Rachel, I get it, I really do. I have been at Camp Half-Blood for thousands of years and have been teaching demigods for millennia. I have seen many die and succeed and it pains me that I'm not allowed to intervene in my students battle. As a teacher, that is the worst thing that can happen." said Chiron. "And soon you will understand as well."
"But they are my friends. All of them are, I can't just stand by and let them die."
"Unfortunately, Rachel, you just have to stay on the side and hope they make it."
"Well I'm tired of hope!" shouted Rachel and left the Big House.
Rachel went back to her room in camp and shed tears when she looked out of the window, she saw a red bird.
"A phoenix." gasped Rachel and went to follow it.
It flew away and out of the border and stayed on a tree; waiting for Rachel to follow her.
Rachel was about to leave the border when she heard someone shout, "Wait!"
Rachel turned around to see the son of Apollo and Head of the Apollo Cabin. It was Will Solance.
"Rachel," he gasped, out of breath. "Wait."
"Are you here to stop me from leaving?" moaned Rachel.
"No," said Will. "I'm here to go with you. I'm scared for Nico as well, I want to go with you."
"How do you know the bird will take us to them?"
"This is the average superhero story. The main characters are in danger and the side characters save them through a sign of something, duh."
"I'm not going to question that..."
"That's not the point, we don't have a map like the nine do but we have a phoenix and this is the map we need to get there. This may be our only shot."
"I agree, let's go!"
The two of them followed the bird and it was like a cure for danger, no monsters followed them the whole way until they reached a road that seemed to go endlessly.
"This road is going on forever." sighed Will, exhausted.
"There must be a spell of some sort, Chiron mentioned this a couple of days ago before the nine headed off."
Rachel moved a few steps closer until there was a border preventing her from going in.
"What's going on?" asked Will.
"There's a border here. It's stopping us from getting inside." replied Rachel.
"Dang it!"
"If they got in there, so can we."
The phoenix went in front of Rachel and a ring of fire went in front of her, Rachel stook her hand through it and it passed the border. She went through and Will followed her. When they were in there was a sign that wasn't on the other side which said 'Welcome to Storybrooke'.
"This is a town?" asked Will.
"Yes, I feel magic here and a lot of it. This has to be the place."
The phoenix stopped the ring and flew past the road.
"More running?" moaned Will.
"Come on." smiled Rachel and they followed the bird.
