Avenging Flash

Chapter Six: Hulk And Supergirl VS Flash and Iron Man.

Pietro keeps an eye on his sister as she whimpers in pain. "What can I do?" He asks softly.

"Ah, it hurts." She replies as sparks of electricity surge across her head.

Pietro growls. "I'm going to kill him. I'll be right back." He tells her, only for her to grab his hand.

"No." She tells him with a shake of her head. "I'm over it. I want...I want to finish the plan."

They both turn to look at the Quinjet, where Supergirl and Bruce just exited from.

"I want the big hitters." Wanda says with a smile, her eyes glowing crimson as she said it.

Stark corners Ultron in the shipyard, damaging his thrusters before throwing him into the side of a rusty old ship.

Ultron smirks at him." Ah, Ah, Ah, the Vibranium's getting away." He taunted.

Tony shrugged. "And you're not going anywhere."

Ultron chuckled. "Of course not, I'm already there. You'll catch on. But first, you might need to catch Dr. Banner and the lovely Miss Danvers." He replies.

Cursing, Tony destroys ultron with a tank missile before blasting into the sky, heading in the direction of the nearest city.

He switched to a certain channel so as to speak with the one person he knows can help best with the situation at hand. "What do you need Tony?" The Flash asks.

"Barry we got an issue, The little witch whammied Banner and your girlfriend. I can handle the Hulk but Supergirl I'll need some help with." Iron Man replies.

Barry curses under his breath but turns to Hawkeye. "Hulk and Supergirl are comprised, Stark needs support."

Clint Nods. "Go, I'll get to the others. Don't worry about us." He replies.

Barry nods before flashing out of the oil tanker and across the land, heading in the direction of the nearest city.

Tony brings up the voice command interface for his helmet. "News or footage, keywords: Hulk, Supergirl, Rampage." Instantly, his HUD is flooded with news footage and pictures of the Hulk and Kara attacking the nearby city.

"Natasha, I could really use a lullaby."

"Well, that's not going to happen. Not for a while. The whole team is down except me and you, we have no back up here." Barry replied, having caught up with Tony and even passed under him.

Tony groaned. "Okay I'm calling in VERONICA and the Solar Buster"

A Stark satellite deployed a large capsule which fires its thrusters at full power as it descends towards the earth. This capsule enters the atmosphere and then catches up with Tony, opening up multiple doors before firing out large pieces of armour and equipment.

The armour and equipment combine together in flight, shifting and fitting around Iron Man as he slows down and drops to the ground.

Iron man lands on road, his Hulk buster armour finally closing around his body.

Barry stops at his side and holds his arms out, the cylinder flies on ahead and drops some more armour out of its doors.

The armour collides with Barry's front and back, spreading out across his whole body to protect him. His new suit is covered in glowing yellow circuits except for his gloves, which are instead glowing a bright red colour.

This is because his gloves are powered by Red sun generators. They emit a radiation which can temporarily shut down Kara's powers. So all Barry needs to do is hold her for a few seconds before knocking her out with a punch or sedative. It won't be so easy though, unfortunately.

"Alright everybody, stand down!" Tony orders the police, who back away from the area. His suit had a built-in translator, so the cops who didn't speak English heard it in their own language.

Having gotten Hulk and Kara's attention. Tony spoke: "You two listening? That little witch is messing with your brains. You're stronger than her, you're smarter than her, you're Bruce Banner and Kara Danvers!"

The Hulk and Kara roar in anger in reply, both rushing forwards.

"Right, right, right! Don't mention puny Banner." Tony sighs as he fires multiple heavy repulsor blasts at the Hulk, trying to slow him down.

Barry collides with Kara, trying to push her back and keep her still. "kara, this is the red kryptonite incident all over again. Ignore the anger, this isnt you. What you are seeing isnt real, fight it!" He tells her, struggling against her overwhelming strength.

The Kryptonian just snarls and punches him across the face, smashing his helmet open. Thankfully Veronica sent a replacement that wrapped around his head in a few seconds. "Okay, time for talk is over. I get it, I just hope you can forgive me for this." The speedster mutters.

With blinding speed, Barry strikes Kara in the face, stomach and legs multiple times with his fists, giving her a small dose of Red Solar radiation.

Kara stops for a moment, grabs both his fists with her hands and glares into his helmet. Blood was dripping from her nose...

"Oh crap..." Barry muttered as she yelled out in range and flung him backwards, sending him smashing through a building.

Hulk jumps over Tony and then punches him in the back of the head, sending Tony staggering forwards.

"In the back? Dick move, Banner!" the Iron avenger exclaims, turning out of the way of another punch before thrusting his fist forwards at the same time Hulk did. They struck mid-air, sending out a small shockwave that knocked both opponents backwards.

Starks arm shattered the moment he hit the ground, so he was forced to eject it.

"VERONICA, gimme a hand." He ordered.

VERONICA sends in a different model that attaches directly into place. This one has a stronger shoulder base and multiple pistons. Stark uses it to repeatedly punch Hulk in the face.

"Go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep!" Tony mutters with each punch.

Hulk tries to knock him aside, only for Tony to catch the fist and kick him in the stomach, sending him flying. Then Stark grabs hold of two abandoned cars and slam them into banner's face. The hulk gets up, spits three teeth out of his mouth and glares at the Hulkbuster.

"I'm sorry." Tony squeaks.

Hulk roars and jumps forward, landing on Tony's armour before pulling chunks off.

Barry gets up from the hole he made inside of the building, only for Kara to collide with him and push him through some more metal and brick. The Flash vibrates out of her grip, lands on her back, powers up his gloves and strikes her in the head.

Supergirl falls to the floor in the middle of a shopping centre. Barry gets up, walks to her body to pick her up, only for him to choke as she shoots up and grabs his neck. Crushing the armour there and getting to his regular suit underneath.

"K-KARA." He pleads, his face turning purple.

Supergirl growls, eyes lighting up with energy. She was going to kill him...

Barry says a very quick prayer and then shoves his fists forward, overloading the Red Solar generators so they can explode in front of him.

Hoping his healing factor would save his front appendages, Barry closed his eyes. Wincing as the generators send out a large dose of Red Solar radiation after blowing up.

The radiation which while is benign to the life of earth, removes the yellow Solar radiation in the area for a short amount of time.

Kara is now essentially human, and is confused when her eyes stop glowing and her hold on The Flash weakens considerably.

Barry kicks her legs out from under her and then sticks a very powerful sedative in her stomach, knocking her out. "Supergirl is down." He reports, rubbing his sore neck once she passed out. He ignores how burnt his arms are as he then picks up the depowered Kryptonian.

"Good job Barry, unfortunately. Steroid Shrek is still standing, could use the assist." Tony replied.

Barry flashed Kara to the Quinjet and then returned to the city, vibrating his hands so as to repair the broken knuckles and torn blood vessels as well as the burns.

It worked. It was a trick he had figured out not that long ago, but thanks to the help of Bruce and Caitlin he had mastered it.

"How long do you think you could hold his attention for?" Barry asks the iron avenger.

"I've been doing that the whole time, Whatever your plan is, please make it count." Tony replied.

Barry took in a deep breath, focused his mind on the speed force and ran. A supersonic punch definitely wouldn't be enough, and a hypersonic punch might make hulk super dizzy but not knock him out. So the flash intended to go even further beyond. "Tony, If I die, tell Kara I loved her and tell the team that they were my family..." he asked.

"Are you nuts, they'll kill me!?" Tony exclaimed.

"Just do it Stark!" Barry exclaimed, bolting off in a flash of gold.

Travelling past multiple cities he kept running, even across the open sea. He saw boats casting out nets and noticed an older man reeling in a large fish.

As he passed Madagascar, his vision began to blur. With streaks of multicoloured light appearing around him and then fading away.

Was that a metallic figure running in front of him?

No it was probably his imagination.

He blinked and found himself running. through the Mashco Piro Indigenous reserve in Peru, recognising the many macaws, Jabirú and eagles in the jungle from a documentary he watched a week ago with Kara.

His golden lightning turned a cyan blue for but a moment before returning to its natural colour of gold. Then after another blink of his eyes, he found himself in the city he started in, nearing the Hulk, who seemed frozen in time.

Barry Yelled out and surged his fist forwards, golden lightning sparking around his whole body as he punched the green goliath in the face.

A shockwave of Electricity and green energy surged around the three heroes. Causing civilians to close their eyes from the bright light.

Once the smoke cleared, Bruce Banner fell to the floor, half naked and with a fractured jaw.

Barry skidded to a stop half a mile past him, cradling his shattered shoulder. He had broken all of the bones in his right arm and even some of his ribs. But he had stopped both Hulk and Supergirl. "I could...use...a nap." The teenager whispered out before falling unconscious. Blood leaking from his nose and mouth.

Tony chuckled, awed by what Barry had done. "Good Job kid, rest up. I'll have the star team come in on a Quinjet and get you and the others patched up."

The Avengers and Star Team all looked exhausted, with some of them even sleeping on the plane. Natasha, Clint, Kara and Tony were the only ones awake. Today had been rough, and they needed some calm and time to lick their wounds before they faced Ultron and the twins again.

The star team had been knocked out by Pietro while Wanda used her powers on Kara and Bruce, so they were feeling very sore from the attack.

Currently Clint was piloting the plane while Tony talked with Maria over the comms, Trying to salvage their public image.

"The news is loving you guys. Nobody else is. There's been no official call for Banner or Kara's arrest, but it's in the air." The ex Shield second in command told her Boss.

Tony nodded. "The Stark Relief Foundation?" He asked.

"Already on the scene. How's the team?" She asked in reply.

Tony sighed. "Everyone's...we took a hit. We'll shake it off, Caitlin is mostly worried about Barry. He did a lot today, pushed himself too hard. He'll be asleep for a while according to her."

Maria nodded. "Well for now I'd stay in stealth mode, and stay away from here. I'll do what I can, but for now you guys are on your own."

Tony shook his head, a small, sad smile on his face. "So, run and hide?" he assumed.

It was Maria's turn to sigh. "Until we can find Ultron, I don't have a lot else to offer."

Tony nodded again. "Neither do we." He whispers, shutting off the call before turning to his friend. "Hey you wanna switch out? I'm done talking with Hill." He told the man.

Clint shook his head. "No, I'm good. If you wanna get some kip, now's a good time, cause we're still a few hours out."

Tony blinked. "A few hours from where?" He asked with confusion.

Clint smiled softly. "A safe house."
