Hey, the author here!

Thankfully this chapter didn't take a month to come out.

First, let's see the commentaries:

XL1: I would really appreciate all your comments be they praise, criticism, or just doubts. Talking about your question, Artoria's backstory has already been completely created, and things will start to get slowly revealed once she starts interacting with characters that have relevance or intimacy with her.

P.S.: I also never understood people that read some of those horny for the sake of horny stories.

Shlags: Unfortunately not this time.

CalmingDownReading: Hmm… dude.

581: Nope fate Shirou here, I'm not sure about UBW truthfully speaking other than crowd control UBW is not that efficient for Shirou to use in this verse.

tl34lt12: That was the intention with Kiritsugu. I don't think she would care much about Bakugo as long he doesn't direct his mouth at her, she would feel just pity for Todoroki as she had seen similar things throughout her life and she would for sure beat the crap out of Mineta if he were to be in this fic(I just had to replace someone and Mineta is the character that I least want to write about).

Lix321: As you said as a person Midoriya is a good guy but as a character with a role to fill in a story he is just the worst, he only has good qualities thinks well of everyone doesn't hate anyone only competes with himself, eventually becomes so strong that realistic no one is on his level except the finals villains and that's just an overview of it all.

In a more specific way, the reason that I dislike Midoriya as a character can be seen in the first chapter of the manga, being bullied for a decade told to kill himself, and no resentment? Really? Furthermore, having hero qualities is good and all but giving the boy the most powerful quirk in the world just like that? When he did nothing to pursue his life goal? Compared with All MIght? Tell me do you think that is a smart way to write the face of your entire series? There is a reason why people call Midoriya the blandest shounen protagonist.

vinayakdj1: I just don't believe she is that kind of character she won't become a hero just because she needs a reason to live a life like that. She already lived a life serving people and her whole character arc was not only accepting her past as it is but also trying to live for herself.

Now, why Artoria is doing everything she is doing? Because I need to write a story. I like to keep characters to their original selves and unfortunately, unless I force something someone like Artoria would never enter U.A neither would she stay there once her objectives are accomplished, I need to tie her to the story in a believable way but as I said not everything can be done when you work with a character that has seen and lived it all like Artoria.

About Irisiviel: Tell me, how would you react if you found your son in the middle of the night talking about how he is going to skip his first day of school because he wants to do something potentially dangerous? Not well I guess. Now put Shirou and Kiritsugu in the equation, two people with questionable mindsets prone to easily forgetting themselves in their major rather than life goals. I don't know what you expect from Irisiviel but I'm written a caring mother here.

With the comments done… Hope you enjoy the chapter!

*Chapter start*

Walking through the grand hallways of U.A, Artoria had to recognize once more just how stupid this place's budget was. It's so ridiculous that even finding information about where her classroom is, is already enough Hassel.

But through all doubt, she could somehow find a billboard telling her the location. "Main building seventh floor section four?" With a frown evident on her face, Artoria mutters. "Who is the maniac that thought putting a classroom on the seventh floor was a good idea? This is a high school for god's sake."

"Ummm, excuse me. You are Artoria Pendragon, right?" Taking Artoria away from the usual U.A rant time a girl wearing the same uniform as her, speaks from behind, attracting her attention as the girl speaks in perfect English.

Turning her head Artoria shows a polite smile while replying. "That would be me, but... do we know each other?"

Turning around what Artoria sees gives her a small reaction. Calling her a well-endowed girl would be an understatement, so much so that even Artoria's curvy figure could be called petite in front of her.

"Ah… no not really. My name is Yaoyozoru Momo. I saw you on our school grade ranks. You got the email, right?" Yaozoru asks with a questioning look.

"I probably forgot to check beforehand." Artoria explains calmly.

'So they can actually be subtle, huh, For a moment I thought their only mean of communication was shouting.'

"HAHAHAHAHA, CONGRATILATIONS YOUNG ARTORIA. YOU PASSED THE U.A EXAMINATION WITH FLYING COLORS PLACING FIRST IN OVERHAUL, NOT ONLY YOU SCORED FIRST IN THE QUIRK EXAMINATION BUT YOU ALSO WERE IN THE TOP TEN IN THE WRITTEN TEST, BUT NOT ONLY THAT YOU SHOWED REMARKEBLE HEROIC SPIRIT BY HELPING YOUR FELLOW EXAMINES DURING THE PRATICAL TEST EARNING YOU TWENTY-FIVE HERO POINTS ON TOP OF YOUR'S SIXTY-EIGHT VILLAIN POINTS." When waking up in the morning, surely the last thing Artoria expected was to receive an envelope with a screaming All MIght inside it.

"U.A IS MOST PROUD TO RECEIVE A HERO PROSPECT LIKE YOU YOUNG ARTORIA, IT IS PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT MAKE THE WORLD A GREATER PLACE AND WE AT U.A HOPE THAT YOU KNOW THAT." As if receiving a signal to rap things All Might looks to the side a bit before giving an awkward laugh. "ANYWAYS I HOPE TO SEE YOU AROUND U.A AS MUTUAL FRIENDS OF DAVID WE WILL SURELY HAVE MANY THINGS TO TALK ABOUT, NOW TO THE FORMALITIES... WELCOME TO YOUR HERO ACADEMIA."

With All Might's last words, the holographic projection turns down leaving Artoria in the silence of her room. "Well... that was grander than I originally thought."

She was expecting to receive a simple notification on her phone or something like that, not a full-on congratulations party from the greatest hero of all time. So that may have been the reason as to why she never even thought of checking her email.

"But what made you come to talk to me?" As much as the new information is interesting to hear, that doesn't explain why the girl came to talk to her.

"Oh? Ah well... you took seventh place despite being in the hero course and being a foreigner. You might not know but that's quite rare, most students of the hero course focus more on the practical side than the theoretical." The girl explains quite shyly.

"I see... thank you for the compliment I guess but aren't you just as impressive, you are also in the hero course." Artoria says returning the compliment much to the Yaoyozoru's confusion.

Noticing it Artoria casually mentions it. "You wouldn't be paying much attention to our school raking if you weren't interested in comparing with your peers and you wouldn't have mentioned the hero course if that was just as important to you. But more importantly, I just saw your name on the list of students of the class 1-A." Extending her hand to Yaoyazoru Artoria says in Japanese. "It's a pleasure to meet you Yaoyozoru-san."

While surprised for a second Yaoyozoru quickly recovers herself and takes Artoria's hand with a smile. "Call me Momo, I prefer people calling me by my birth name."

"Very well then, Momo-san." Artoria replies with a smile while guiding them both to the classroom.

"But that surprised me your japonese was very good Artoria-san." Momo suddenly compliments Artoria.

"I could've said the same about you. Which makes me question, why did you try to speak to me in english first?" While the answer is fairly obvious to her generally feigning ignorance is a better way to keep a conversation.

"I just thought to speak to you in the language you would be the most comfortable with." Momo replies a bit embarrassed.

'What a sweet girl getting all embarrassed because she presumed something about someone.'

"I see, thank you then. But you don't need to speak to me in english I'm perfectly fine with japonese."

Taking the elevator to the seventh floor Artoria then says. "This place surely is huge."

"Mm, yes. The main building almost has as much space as my home." Momo casually says attracting a curious eye.

Fidgeting under Artoria's eyes Momo says. "Mm... did I say something wrong?"

Letting out an amused smile Artoria says. "Not per se. I don't think you know it since you probably only interacted with people of similar status to you before, admitting to living in a mansion could sound very snobbish. While I know you didn't mean it, we are still studying in a public school. There are bound to be people that would be offended by your words."

While those words stun Momo for a second, Artoria opens the giant door in front of her with a sigh by the side saying 1-A.

"I didn't kno-"

"Huh? You wanna die four glasses?" And just as the classroom door opens a welcoming death threat rushes the duo to come in.

Getting only slightly annoyed by the unexpected greeting, Artoria decides to ignore the duo. Be it the blonde boy with his feet rudely on top of the desk or the boy with the glasses trying to stop him, it has nothing to do with her and she is pretty sure the sleeping sack by the door will have a few words about it later

"We better ignore those two." Artoria says without batting an eye while looking for their desks.

'Hmm? We are opposites I sit in the front and her in the back.'

While packing her things in her desk the shouting match between the blond boy and the guy wearing glasses moved elsewhere. Standing by the side of the door the guy with glasses and the surprising addition of the green-haired boy from the exam and the girl that he saved are talking.

'She didn't lie. In less than a week the wounds that would cripple someone were healed as if nothing ever happened. It is almost a waste for her to be here, no it is a waste. I just hope she and this school have the good sense to not keep her working here full time.'

"If you guys are to be searching for friends go do it elsewhere. This is the hero department." Interrupting the conversation at the front of the classroom door to everyone's surprise a man enveloped in a sleeping sack on the floor says.

A few seconds later a classroom involved in silence the man finally says again taking himself out of his sleeping sack. "Eight seconds for all of you to calm down. Good riddance you guys are not logical enough, this shows a lack of common sense."

'And you have so much of it, to be the one talking.'

"I'm your homeroom teacher Aizawa Shouta. Pleasure meeting you." After a brief greeting, the man reaches out to his personal cocoon and takes the school's p.e uniform. "Wear these immediately and then come to the school p.e grounds."

Much to Artoria's surprise the students seem to comply without questioning, maybe because of the absurd scene they've just seen.

"Excuse me, Aizawa-sensei." Frowing slightly Artoria calls for the man.

"Yes, Artoria."

With no reaction whatsoever to the man calling her by the name she asks. "What about the opening ceremony? It should be starting in a few minutes, no?"

"Yes, and I don't care. Here at U.A, we teachers have the freedom to do as we see fit, furthermore, you guys are going to be heroes you have no time for silly niceties." The man says uncaringly.

Such words earned a much deeper frown from Artoria. "Isn't it the opposite? Most heroes require to be able to do and deal with such 'niceties'. We are supposed to know how to deal with the public after all."

Sensing the powder in the air and the deepening of Artoria's voice, the other students in the classroom stay dead silent, unsure of where this is going.

But to everyone's surprise, the man says with the same uncaring and monotonous tone. "So? I'm your teacher and if I say get on your uniform and go out, you do it. But I see, maybe you guys prefer to spend the next two hours listening to a boring speech and doing some trivial school things over actually letting loose of those quirks of yours."

Without needing to say twice most students jump off their desks shouting while hurriedly going out of the classroom with their p.e uniform in hands. Leaving only Artoria and Aizawa still making eye contact and just as the last student leaves a ferocheous grim surges on the man's face.

The frown growing on Artoria's face turned into a full scowl but somehow she returned the smile to her new teacher.

'I'm not here to be a hero though, teacher.'

*Scene break*

Standing not far behind the running field of U.A Aizawa leads his students to an area with pitch-throw marks on the ground. "Okay, most of you already know about this but... some of you remember about the physical test you guys did in your middle school, things like softball pitch, 50-meter dash, standing long jump, and the like. Well, that's exactly what we are doing today, with the caveat that we are using our quirks. Due to the negligence of the responsible governmental bodies, those kinds of tests don't factor in your totality, truly an antiquated system."

Picking a ball from his pocket Aizawa throws it at Artoria and says. "If I'm not mistaken in the UK you guys don't do things like here, right? But I think you understand the concept. You will be the one to give us a demonstration since you got first place in the practicals."

"I do." Picking the ball Artoria walks to the middle of the circle painted on the ground while feeling all eyes on her and an unmistakable death stare from someone she supposes is the screaming blond boy from before, she noticed he had an I'm the most important vibe on him.

'I suppose he didn't like not being in the first place.'

"As long you stay inside the circle and use your quirk you can do anything." Aizawa says distancing himself from Artoria as if he is already expecting something but Artoria has other plans in mind.

'Things are not going your way caterpillar-man.'

Taking a lazy stance Artoria decides to go for a simple throw. Unmistankly not even trying to throw the ball as if mocking Aizawa.

"Heh? Is this all she can do? How did this dumb blond take first place?" hearing the snide and rude remarks from behind Artoria slightly adjusts her throwing strength.

"Kacchan I don't think it is a good idea to be mocking her."

"Huh? Did you say something you stupid nerd?"

"BOOOOOOM"

Launching the ball into the air at sonic speeds the ball flew past what any normal eye could follow, many of the students with mocking expressions including the rude boy from before could only look with their jaws open and their ears ringing.

With an irritated snort, Aizawa announces the results. "2.958 meters." Giving the girl a side glance Aizawa then says. "That's what I expect from you today. You will all go through a battery of physical tests to see the limits of your bodies and also your quirks."

Returning to Momo's side, Artoria hear a few students getting a little too excited.

"Wow, this looks so much fun."

"Awesome we can use our quirks to our heart's content?"

But if Aizawa has anything to say about their happiness.

"Fun you say?" With a dead serious stare at the students, Aizawa says. "If you guys plan to spend the next three years with that go-happy mentality... then excuse me as it seems I have to create a new rule to this testo of ours. The student that places last will be immediately expelled."

Seeing the horrified expressions on the student's faces, Aizawa can't help but grin from ear to ear. "Here at U.A, the teachers have the full freedom to even expel students to our heart's desire. Now brats... welcome to the hero department.

Roughly forty minutes later despite their teacher's menacing words the test proceeded normally though now all the students have no semblance of the smiles and happiness they displayed before. Fully concentrated on achieving the best possible results to avoid being expelled.

'Well he certainly has the gifty to motivate his students'

Running through almost the entire battery of tests the students return to the softball throw área to do their final test. Students come and go with a few notable ones like Momo creating a cannon out of her body and using it to launch the ball over 2.500 meters or the blond or the girl previously saved by the green-haired boy throwing it to space with an infinite throw distance.

'I guess that rude boy also had an impressive throw, 705 meters is nothing to scoff at.'

"Now it is your turn Midoiya." Aizawa calls for the last student, interestingly Midoriya is left to be the last one for some reason.

The green-haired boy now known as Midoriya nervously walks to the throwing pitch.

"This one I want to see. It is about time for that quirkless loser to embarrass himself." The rude boy says with a smirk.

'Quirkless?'

"What are you talking about Bakugo-kun? Midoriya-kun has a quirk." The glass boy from before named Lida Tenya asks Bakugo confused.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" Just as confused Bakugo asks back.

"46 meters."

"What? I thought I used for sure…" As if hearing an unexpected result Midoriya mutters while looking at his hand blankly.

"I erased your quirk. It defies all reason, I don't even know why Nezu allowed this to happen." Aizawa explains with a frown while his hair calmly floats up and his eyes get bloodshot.

'Quirk erasure? That's a dangerous quirk on many levels, that must also bring a lot of unwanted attention to the user.'

Bringing Midoriya near to him with several tendrils like cloths around his neck, Aizawa spends a full minute talking down to Midoriya and explaining how he is a liability and how his incapability to control his quirk makes it impossible for him to become a hero.

'Harsh but not untrue. If every time he uses his quirk he ends up in the same situation as in the practical test then he is not hero material by any means .'

Given a second chance to try for some unknown reason, Midoriya stands at the throwing pitch once more with the ball firmly grasped in his hands. His expression is unreadable as his head is lowered and his hair obscures his face.

After a few seconds, Midoriya pushes his arm back as his body recoils pushing through the necessary steps to throw. Taking a step forward the arm throwing the ball extends to the limit only a moment away from releasing the ball, and for a second everyone thought the outcome was the same as the last time, no special effects no incredible strength, or a flashy quirk until the very last second nothing happened, but…

"BOOOOOOM"

As if in a deja vu moment, a sonic boom echos making all the students bring their hands to their ears in the hopes of protecting themselves.

"S-Sensei… I can still move…" After the devastating noise, Midoriya says smiling while holding back tears, somehow the gesture earns Midoriya a grin from his sensei.

"705.3 meters." Aizawa says somewhat bluntly after recovering from the shock of Midoriya's display.

Meanwhile, Artoria could not help but frown at what she had just seen.

'From twp actions to actions to ten, no twelve if he also uses his arms. But… what he is doing is not that much different than suicide, hoping his body doesn't break beyond repair while also fighting the excruciating pain in a desperate attempt to keep his reasoning so that he can perform complex tasks… he won't be able to keep that up even in the U.A much less in real situations. Still, the most probable outcome is his body breaking before he even gets to work as a hero, you can only heal broken bones and mend skin so many times after the body gives in after all.'

"What? How… you… shit. WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS DEKU?" To the surprise of everyone Bakugo immediately sprints at Midoriya while swearing as he usually does.

Just as he was about to reach him with his exploding hands he was stopped by the tendril-like cloth from Aizawa.

"I could be saying the same thing, brat. Are you trying to give me dry eyes?" Releasing Bakugo Aizawa then says. "We are wasting precious time you know, and I don't have time to deal with your screaming in my ears."

Taking a small cell phone-like object from his pocket showing the ranks of the students. "Oh, yeah. Also that thing about expulsion, it was just a lie a logical ruse to pull out your A-game."

"EHHHHHHHHHH."

"Come on guys, use your brain. Of course, it was just a ruse." Momo says by the side.

Giving the ranks no attention Artoria turns to go out of the field just like everyone else but is called by Aizawa.

"Wait a minute, Artoria. Midoriya you should go to the infirmary to get patched–up by the Recovery Girl. And Artoria, come with me." Signaling with his fingers Aizawa brings Artoria back to the center of the field.

Going back to the soft throw pitch area Aizawa throws a second ball at Artoria. "Care to try again?"

Looking at the ball in her hands Artoria merely says. "Why should I?"

"Why are you here Artoria? I saw you during the entrance exam test. 7th place? You could have easily taken first, nobody here can even come close to competing with you." Without waiting for a response the man continues. "Is this maybe about the discussion we had in the classroom? I didn't take you for such an illogical response."

Aizawa looked at the girl genuinely baffled, he had never seen any student care about the entrance ceremony in his life.

Seeing her teacher genuinely try to solve their problem, Artoria chooses to take a step back. "I was just not feeling it today."

Throwing the ball back to the man Artoria leaves the field while looking slightly ashamed of her earlier actions.

'I must be losing my mind.

*Scene break*

"But wow Momo-chan your quirk is super cool, you took first place like it was nothing." Mina says while taking a bite of her curry.

"It was nothing, really. I just had the ideal situation to use my quirk's potential, besides the test was unfair as people like Hagakure-san and Mina-san can't do much in a test biased to the raw physical performance side." Momo explains trying to cheer up her new friends.

"You also Artoria-san. You got the second-farthest throw of everyone, though I thought you would keep the momentum going on the rest of the tests." Asui says to Artoria sitting in front of her.

Seconds pass and no response comes from Artoria forcing Momo by her side to call her. "Um… Artoria-san?"

"Sorry, I spaced out, did you guys say something?" Artoria says with an awkward smile.

Not being disturbed by her lack of attention Mina happily asks. "Are you looking for someone? Since we entered the cafeteria you've been looking around non-stop."

"Yes, but he doesn't seem to be here."

"Maybe he is eating somewhere else? That's pretty common, especially with people that come with the food they prepared at home. Anyway, you still have the entire day to find him." Momo adds.

"Maybe." Artoria nods at Momo as she finishes her food and gets up.

"I will go looking for him." Without a second word, Artoria leaves the table.

"Hehehe, maybe she is looking for her boyfriend." Despite hearing Mina's last comment Artoria zones out and starts heading out from the cafeteria.

'When I looked at the billboard I saw his name and the classroom location. It should be on the sixth floor.

Reaching the classroom Artoria takes a peek through the open door, falling to find her target she opts to wait in front of the classroom.

'He will have to come here anyways.'

Soon, lunchtime is over and the students start to return to their respective classrooms, while idly waiting in by the side of the door one of the passing students comes to talk to her.

"Hey, are you waiting for someone?"

Turning to look at the one calling her Artoria shows a slightly surprised expression.

'It's the naked boy.'

"I'm Mirio. If you want to talk with someone in the class you can just say to me." Showing a jovial smile the blond boy speaks with an understanding tone.

"I'm Artoria… I was looking for a student named Shirou Emiya. I don't know if you know him but I've been looking for him the entire lunch break and I couldn't find him, so I've decided to wait for him in front of the classroom door." Artoria explains herself.

"Um? Are you looking for Shirou? Well, he is not here today, though."

"He is not here?" Without waiting for the explanation Artoria asks.

"That happens sometimes. Shirou is the kinda of guy that does that, he probably doing something related to his job as a hero." Mirio shakes his head before saying. "I don't know when he will come back but don't sweat over it. He should be coming back to school this week… probably."

Clenching her fists tightly Artoria says with a weak smile before departing. "Thank you for your help."

'Calm down…"

"Scene break*

"IT'S ME, COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON."

Surprising the expectant students in the classroom All Might comes bursting through the door with a giant smile.

"Crazy, our first heroics class is with All MIght."

"I still can't believe he is going to be teaching us."

"IT IS FINALLY TIME FOR YOUNG HEROES IN THE MAKING TO START YOUR HERO FOUNDATIONAL STUDIES, STARTING WITH THE MOST IMPORTANT SUBJECT OF ALL… THE BATTLE TRIAL. AND SINCE YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE YOUR FIRST BATTLE WHY NOT DO IT WITH STYLE, THE SCHOOL HAS ALREADY CREATED AND SENT YOUR BATTLE GEAR DESIGNS. NOW GO AND PREPARE WE WILL MEET AGAIN AT GROUNDS B."

After roughly thirty minutes of waiting in front of the grounds, B Artoria hears All MIght's voice from behind.

"WHAT IS IT YOUNG ARTORIA? DON'T YOU HAVE A COSTUME YET?" All Might asks with his ever-present smile.

"Yes, I haven't thought of one yet."

'Truly, I didn't even think of making one yet.'

"HAHAHAHA, DON'T WORRY TOO MUCH ABOUT IT. A LOT OF STUDENTS TEND TO HAVE PROBLEMS DISCOVERING WHAT THEIR COSTUME IDENTITY SHOULD BE, YOU STILL HAVE A FEW MONTHS UNTIL YOU WILL OFFICIALLY NEED ONE, JUST BE AWARE THAT IF YOU TAKE TOO LONG YOU WON'T HAVE AS MUCH TIME TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS TO YOUR SUIT." All Might explains patiently with a more reserved smile.

"Thank you for the advice." Artoria says sincerely.

'It is the first time I've seen someone so genuinely nice in this world, he resembles Shirou a lot in that aspect. It is no wonder he is the only one to ever be called the Symbol of Peace, despite having more than enough brute strength to destroy a city. People like him are admirable no matter the era.'

"OH, YES. YOU KNOW DAVID RIGHT, I SAW THE VIDEO OF YOUR BATTERY TESTS BACK THERE ON THE I-ISLAND. AND I MUST SAY I'M THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED BY YOUR DISPLAY THERE."

"Thank you. But you were much more impressive I could barely do a third of what you did casually." Artoria says remembering the scores left behind by the man.

"HAHAHA, THAT WAS LONG AGO AND I'M NOT AS YOUNG AS I USED TO BE. YOU ON THE OTHER HAND STILL HAVE THE ENTIRE ROAD TO GO, WITH TIME YOU ARE SURE TO SURPASS ME.'

"I suppose so." Despite finding herself enjoying the conversation with the man, still Artoria brings up an uncomfortable topic. "Speaking of David, you two still maintain contact?"

"HMM? NOT AS MUCH AS WE USED TO, BUT WE STILL TALK ONCE IN A WHILE. WHY DO YOU ASK?"

'So is one-sided huh? All Might doesn't seem to notice anything weird going on between the two, so that means that whatever David's thing is, it is not some kind of fight or discussion they had.'

"Well… nothing much, is just that David said he and Mellissa miss you a lot." Artoria deflects.

"I guess it has been a while since I last saw them." His voice grew softer while speaking about the two, though there was still an undeniable power behind his every word. "I did miss Mallissa's last birthday… I WASN'T PLANNING ON GOING TO THIS I-EXPO BUT I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO CHANGE MY PLANS, HAHAHA."

"HOHO, YOU GUYS ARE LOOKING GOOD." Without being able to finish the conversation properly All Might turn to his other students with a compliment.

Exiting the hallway leading to grounds B the rest of the students of class 1-A approach wearing their hero costumes.

"OKAY, NOW THAT EVERYBODY IS HERE I WILL START WITH THE EXPLANATION. FOR TODAY'S EXERCISE WE WILL BE SIMULATING A BATTLE EVENT BETWEEN HEROES AND VILLAINS, TAKING THAT INTO ACCOUNT YOU WILL BE DIVIDED INTO PAIRS WITH EACH PAIR BEING SELECTED TO BE EITHER A VILLAIN TEAM OR A HERO TEAM."

"So we will be fighting each other?" Asui asks.

"YES. AS YOU GUYS KNOW ONE OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF A HERO IS TO APPREHEND CRIMINALS AND THIS CLASS OBJECTIVE OF THIS BATTLE TRIAL IS TO TRAIN YOU ON A DIVERSE SET OF SITUATIONS SO THAT YOU CAN ALWAYS STAY SHARP OUT THERE. AS YOU GUYS KNOW VILLAINS CLEAN UP ARE MORE USUALLY SEEN IN THE OPEN WHEN THERE IS DAYLIGHT BUT ANY SMART VILLAIN IS GOING TO BE COMMITTING HIS CRIMES INDOORS, WHICH STATISTICALLY MAKES HEROES WORK MORE INSIDE BUILDINGS THAN OUTSIDE, OR AT LEAST FOR VILLAIN APPREHENSION, YOU WILL SEE YOURSELVES SPENDING ENDLESS HOURS PATROLING AT THE END OF THE DAY."

Taking a small note from god knows what All Might says while looking at it. "HAVING SAID THAT THIS IS WHAT WE WILL BE DOING FOR THIS TRAINING SESSION. WE WILL HAVE A TEAM OF VILLAINS GUARDING A BOMB THAT IS ABOUT TO EXPLODE, AND THE HERO TEAM WILL BE SENT TO STOP THE VILLAINS SCHEME. THE WINNING CONDITIONS FOR THE HEROES ARE: IF THEY DEFEAT OR CAPTURE ALL THE VILLAINS IN THE BUILDING OR IF THEY REACH THE BOMB BEFORE IT EXPLODES. AS FOR THE VILLAINS' CONDITIONS: IF THEY DEFEAT OR CAPTURE ALL THE HEROES TRYING TO STOP THEM OR IF THEY STALL LONG ENOUGH FOR THE BOMB TO EXPLODE. THE TEAM WILL BE DECIDED BY A RANDOW LOTTERY."

Following his words All Might takes a box for the lottery.

"Great we got paired together Artoria-san, let's make sure to give our best." Momo cheer up.

"Yes, let's do our best."

"OKAY SO NOW WE ARE GOING TO DECIDE WHO IS GOING FIRST." With two other boxes with the words villain and hero written on them, All MIght takes two balls. "PAIR A WILL BE THE HEROES AND PAIR D WILL BE THE VILLAINS. PLEASE BOTH TEAMS GO TO THE SELECTED AREA."

After both teams go to the designated area for the class All MIght guides the rest of the students to a room with a massive monitor hanging on the entirety of a fifteen-meter-long wall.

"THE VILLAINS WILL HAVE FIVE MINUTES TO SET UP AND BUILD TRAPS AFTER THAT THE HEROES WILL ENTER THE BUILDING. FROM THIS ROOM WE WILL BE ABLE TO SEE EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IN THAT BUILDING, REMEMBER YOU GUYS ARE ALLOWED TO GO ALL OUT BUT IF THINGS GET TOO OUT OF HAND OR DANGEROUS I WILL STOP THE SESSION. AND ALSO YOU WILL BE GRADED ACCORDING TO YOUR PERFORMANCE."

Finishing the explanation All MIght turns on the monitor showing several different viewpoints of the designated area for the training session, being a common commercial building. From the outside cameras, the students observe as Midoriya and Ochako enter the building through a window. In the meanwhile, at the end of the hallway they entered, Bakugo waits in an ambush.

"Booooom"

Somehow Midoriya was able to dodge and also push Ochako away from the explosion generated by Bakugo's hand.

'Is it okay to just let them fight by themselves there? All MIght is hundreds of meters away, if something were to happen he wouldn't be able to respond. I get that they won't just go for the kill but accidents happen.'

Back on the screen, they seem to talk for a bit before Bakugo rushes at Midoriya once, with his left arm extended most likely readying another explosion.

"Well, that's interesting." Artoria murders as she sees the situation developing on the screen.

Taking a step forward at the right moment Midoriya is able to get in, bypassing Bakugo's hand reach and avoiding getting caught in one of his explosions, while simultaneously taking Bakugo's extend and doing a judo throw, sending him bareback straight into the concrete ground.

"Damn, that was so manly."

"I didn't think Midoriya-san had that on him." Momo comments just as impressed as everyone else. "And he did without using his quirk too. That means that was pure prediction and raw combat skill."

"That may not be true." Artoria says while looking at the screen as Midoriya and Bakugo seem to have a heated discussion.

"What do you mean Pen-chan." Mina asks.

Frowning slightly at the unexpected nickname Artoria says. "Midoriya and Bakugo seem to know each other very well, while there is an undeniable analytical thought process behind Midoriya's actions to me it seems more like he already knew how Bakugo would attack before they even started fighting. Midoriya should be so familiar with Bakugo that reading his intentions comes easy to him, besides Bakugo's quirk is very predictable by nature he only has four to six options on how to attack during any given interaction."

'He can only create explosions on his palms, making it reasonably easy to predict his moves, since his very quirk limits what he can make count as effective moves. Because of that he either uses his explosions as an attack method, a superior mobility tool, or as a feint attack and then proceeds to get into hand-to-hand combat where his extreme close-quarters reach is arguably better since he won't want to create explosions right in front of his face or on himself.'

"Boooooom."

An explosion goes off on the monitoring screen destroying several cameras being utilized to monitor the hallway fight. The explosion itself tore through the wall of the hallway and blew a hole through the building exposing almost two entire floors to the outside.

"Youg Bakugo, if use another of those explosions I will forcibly end the training and you will be penalized with defeat." Seeing that one of his students was almost killed All MIght warns Bakugo.

The battle between the two continues whilst Uraraka goes to find the bomb being guarded by Lida. Being the least interesting thing happening at the moment Artoria turns her focus on the battle between the other two.

Not committing the same mistake twice Bakugo changes his battle style using his explosions primarily to move around Midoriya and using his skill in hand-to-hand combat to get the upper hand on Midoriya who seems unable to adapt.

'And there it goes, once Midoriya is unable to read Bakugo he immediately falls on the defensive. He had a first good move but he failed to capitalize on it, leading his opponent to change his battle plan and counter his only effective course of action. He also can't use his quirk directly at Bakugo since that could potentially kill him or injure his ally directly above…'

Standing face to face Midoriya and Bakugo rush at each other. Sparks fly from, Bakugo's hand as he approaches Midoriya with his hand open, Midoriya on the other side lacks flashiness but just as he takes a step towards Bakugo the air around his right arm tears as an absurd amount of force passes through.

"SMAAAAAASH."

Instead of punching Bakugo, Midoriya does an upward cut, punching a hole throughout the entire building and launching debris all over the sky, and just in the floor above where Uraraka and Lida were having their confrontation…

"TEAM HEROES WIN."

"That was unexpected." Artoria says plainly.

"Yes, Midoriya's last move was somewhat smart but…" Momo also compliments it, although seems to have her regard for it.

"They've won but compared with the losing team fairly uninjured state…" Mezo Shoji comments on the other side of the room after seeing the state of both teams on the screen. While Bakugo and Lida suffered almost no injury Midoya was knocked out and Uraraka is throwing up after overexerting her quirk.

"OKAY, NOW… I WOULD SAY THE BEST IN THE MATCH WAS YOUNG LIDA." All Might says just as he comes back with the students. "I wonder why that is. Does anyone know why I think so?"

"He was the only one that was able to get through the whole debacle in the positive." Artoria says sounding slightly disappointed.

"Positive you say…"

Raising her hand Momo asks for permission before saying. "Yes All Might-sensei. Just as Artoria-san said, Lida-san was the only participant who didn't commit any critical mistake during the match. Some kind of personal grudge purely led Bakugo, and so did Midoriya, had Midoriya sought assistance from Ochako-san they could severely limit Bakugo's actions by removing his weight making it much easier to capture him and having a much easier time fighting Lida-san on the next floor."

Taking a small pause to clear her throat Momo then continues. "Ochako-san's mistake was going with Mdoriya's plan without consultation and throwing potentially dangerous attacks toward the bomb. Lida-san on the other side correctly supposed that the entire training would be centered around the bomb and was able to devise proper counters to Ochako-san's attempts at reaching the bomb but he also misstepped at the end and forgot to look after the objective."

"To put it bluntly if we reduce the grading system of this match to just communication, focus, and battle plan, Lida-san would be the only one to score two positive points and receive one negative point. He had communicated with his teammate although he failed, he stayed focused on the objective but in the end, he got distracted at the most crucial point and forgot the training, now if it wasn't for Midoriya-san his battle plan would have worked. as funny as it looked running around with the bomb in his arms was the correct strategy."

"COUGH… I think Young Artoria and Young Yaoyazoru put it nicely… I have nothing to add. Okay now let's draw the next lot."

Despite continuing with the matches nothing notable happened. Most of the students lacked the flash quirks like in the first training session and they weren't as willing to seriously fight each other to the same point as Midoriya and Bakugo.

"OKAY NOW FOR THE LAST ROUND TEAM B WILL BE THE HEROES AND TEAM C WILL BE THE VILLAINS." All Might finally announces the last session of the day after almost two hours of class.

'It is a good thing these classes don't happen every single day, otherwise, the students would end up dead.'

"Let's do our best Artoria-san." Momo cheer with her palm extended in the air.

"Hmm, we better. After all that criticism it would be pretty embarrassing if we were to perform badly." Bringing her hand up Artoria follows Momo with a high-five.

*Scene break*

"Momo-san you said your quirk allows you to create anything as long you know its chemical composition right?" Artoria asks while getting inside the building with their bomb in her arms.

"Yes, as long I know the chemical composition and as far it isn't inherently organic I can make it. Do you want to make something specific?"

"Yes, I have a plan. How many alarm clocks can you make?" Artoria asks with a grin.

"In a day? Ignoring the fact that I would be too tired to keep fighting after… around a hundred and twenty, probably. But what are going to do with so many of those." Momo asks with a puzzled face.

"Have you noticed? Shoji-san uses his arms to create mouths, while I'm not certain is possible he can use them to create other of the five senses organs. I will set up several alarms throughout the building to counter the possible hearing."

"Humm… but we don't even know if that would be necessary, right? He might not have advanced hearing, and I would be using too much energy to create something that might not be useful overall." Momo tries to dissuade Artoria's plan.

"That's true. But it also doesn't matter, blocking his hearing is just an extra." Artoria says while bringing the bomb to the stairs. "All those alarms are going to be distractions too, they are mostly likely to check a few of the locations the clocks are and if anything they will buy us a lot of time."

"That might work… but after a while, they might just ignore it…"

"That would be true if they didn't have to find a bomb or capture us to win, we will use the alarms not only as a distraction but also a reminder that the bomb could be by the side of any of those alarm clocks. The sheer amount of options the annoying sound ringing in their ears and the lack of time will make them rush things, also that's not the whole plan there is still one more step…"

"Sorry Todoroki-san, I can't hear anything. That ringing sound is all over the building." Shoji says dispirited, this is his first time in the hero training and he is already being countered.

"It's okay." Todoriki says without emotion.

"Can't you just freeze the entire building?"

"I could. But that would risk killing someone or causing damage to the bomb."

As they both enter the ringing sound in their ears magnifies and for the first time in the day Todoroki shows a semblance of emotion, which is annoyance.

"They've prepared for your quirk in advance, there is nothing we can do about that. Now what we need to do the same as everyone else, search carefully." Taking the lead Todoroki goes to the nearest alarm noise, an office door.

Looking at the door with a frown Todoroki says. "Shoji-san you should take the lead I will give you cover from behind."

Nodding Shoji opens the door quietly and slowly, using the small opening to take a peek at the room before entering. "It is empty."

Todoroki nods and creates a trail of ice in the ground freezing the alarm clock in the middle of the room. "We should hurry to the first floor I doubt they would be here, these are just distractions to consume more of our time."

'Those two are stalling for time, the clocks are being used not only as distractions but also block Shoji from hearing their movements. they essentially transformed all rooms in this entire building in the possible ambush spots while also making it impossible for me to just brute force my way into this since I wouldn't know what I'm hitting.'

After checking the entire first floor, wasting two minutes, Shoji says. "Should we split up? Five floors, two minutes each and we still have to fight after we find them… we don't have that much time."

"They are trying to waste our time first… let's check adjacent rooms at the same time. They are probably not on the second floor either, so it should be okay if we do it faster." Soon they reached the end of the second floor also empty and so were the third and the fourth and before the two realized only four minutes were remaining on the clock.

"This is the last floor." Forgetting caution both boys rush to the nearest office room… also empty and so they do for the second, third, and fourth.

"Wait Todoroki-san." Shoji suddenly stops. Raising his tendril-like arms he brings his hand-transformed ears to listen. "They are at the rooftop."

"Okay." Rushedly Todoroki places his hands on the ground ready to freeze the entire surface of the rooftop.

'They've forgotten to consider that without as many alarm clocks in the building and the close proximity Shoji would be able to hear them, by being on the rooftop I can freely freeze everything as long as I don't make the ice too deep.'

"Let's go before the ti-"

Suddenly Shoji tackles Todoroki to the ground, interrupting him. From behind the two, a wall breaks apart sending pieces of concrete right where Todoroki was a second ago covering the hallway with dust. Sliding a few meters on the ice the two quickly recompose themselves facing the revealed enemy.

"You were a bit faster than I expected, I supposed you two threw caution through the window once the time started to run out." As the dust settles the duo see the number one ranker of the practical test in front of them.

Todoroki frowns lightly while looking at the blond girl in front of him. Even he knows that winning against her quickly is impossible.

Moving at an unprecedented speed Shoji tackles Artoria too but differently from Todoroki she is barely pushed back, almost seeming like the ice on the ground did most of the job. "Y-You go Todoroki-san.I will hold her for as long as I can."

Despite knowing he can't do much against the girl in front of him Shoji still pushes her with all the strength he can muster.

Without saying a word Todoroki dashes to the rooftop abandoning the college that he grew to appreciate a little in the short time they interacted. Sprinting pass the starts and reaching the rooftop door Todoroki in a hurry Ignores the handle of the door and barges through with his shoulder breaking the thin layer of ice on it.

"Bang."

Entering the rooftop Todoroki's eyes land on the bomb right in the middle of it, has a small layer of ice at its feet but despite it all, something is missing, there is no one guarding the bomb.

His eyes widen and in a split second, he swings his hand while taking a back step freezing everything behind him. Calming his wildly beating heartTodoroki's eyes fall on the frozen Momo right in front of him.

"A-Almost… g-got y-you" Momo's voice rang out stuttering like crazy from the cold.

Momo stood at the roof of the rooftop exit, waiting in an ambush but Todoroki reacted much faster than she expected.

"I will release you later…" Todoroki says with a sorry look, he knows very well how much it hurts to have his bare skin frozen solid.

Rushing to the bomb Todoroki taps it quickly… but…

"Ploop."

Instead of hearing All Might's voice in his ear telling him that they won, he hears the sound of something falling to the ground. Taking a few seconds to realize what just happened Todoroki looks at the fallen boom on the ground in pieces of…

"Cardboard…" He mutters.

"I-It seems you w-were f-fooled…" from behind Momo says with a pained smile.

Turning violently Todoroki looks over at Momo and the exit before stopping his next actions with a weird look on his face.

"I-It seems l-like you froze your o-only entrance T-Todoroki-san."

Standing there looking dumbly at the frozen girl for several seconds he finally hears in his ears.

"VILLAIN TEAM WINS."

*Chapter end*

And here we go one more chapter.

Finally, we have some interaction between Artoria and some of the cast though it was mainly Aizawa and Momo, originally I wanted Artoria and Aizawa to have a much bigger conflict but it wouldn't make much sense although Aizawa's attitude pissed off Artoria both Aizawa and Artoria are more mature than that.

And then we have the villains vs heroes practice, in this part, I was thinking of doing just something light and keeping going until the start of the USJ attack but I thought that it was a good opportunity to show some of Artoria's tactical thinking before the power creeping start.

I hope you enjoyed the chapter!
