T31: The Missing Reported.
Nine police cars were parked outside the 19th century victorian home and seven of the police officers, male and female, began heading for their cars after questioning the family in the house about Cameron, Leo and Rocco if there was any reason why they would want to run away from home. No one could come up with an answer. Among the police vehicles were Monica's orange 70s car, Bill and Alice's red rented car, Olivia and Ned's brown rented car, Lulu's rented black car, Dustin's black van, Tracy's yellow rented car, Sky's rented purple car and Brooklyn's red rented convertable car.
Two male officers stepped out onto the porch with Monica and the first officer walked off the porch and headed for the police car he and the other officer shared.
"Thank you for coming, officer." Monica said.
"Don't mention it. Keep your chin up, ma'am. We'll do our best." The second officer said.
"Thanks." Monica said.
The second officer walked off the porch to join the first officer in the car.
Monica went back in the house and closed the door behind her, rejoining the family in the living-room, who were all standing.
"Well?" Alice asked.
"What did they say?" Bill added.
"The officer was very sympathetic. He said they were gonna do the best they could to find the boys." Monica answered.
"Yeah, for what that's worth." Olivia said.
"You think they'll find them?" Lulu asked.
"How are they gonna find three little boys in a town like Tofte? If they're even in the town. What can the cops do? What can any of us do? What can anybody do?" Ned asked.
"Where's Alice?" Monica asked.
"She went upstairs to our room. She said she wanted to be alone for a while. I guess she's takin' this whole Cameron, Leo, Rocco running away thing pretty hard. I guess we all are." Bill said.
"Yeah. Yeah, i guess we are." Tracy added.
"I'll be right back." Brooklyn said before she headed up the stairs after Alice.
