The Hallway
Chapter Summary
An unexpected hallway encounter
Charlie felt the flush spread across her cheeks as she stared up at Alastor. She wasn't paying attention to where she was walking. She had turned the corner in the hallway and slammed right into him. He tried to catch her to no avail. He leaned over top of her now, both of them on the floor, his forearm against the floor to hold himself up. His maroon eyes staring down into her eyes.
"Are you all right, dear?"
Charlie swallowed the lump in her throat then nodded. "Y-Yes, I'm fine." She said softly.
Alastor watched the blush spread across her cheeks and raised an eyebrow, his smile ever present. "No need to be embarrassed! Accidents happen."
Charlie's eyes flickered from his eyes to his lips then back to his eyes. She was at a loss for words. His mouth was an inch away from hers and he had yet to make an effort to move away from her. Alastor. The radio demon who hated touch and closeness of any kind, was still an inch away from her. She felt her heart flutter in her chest as her lips parted. A strange feeling overcame her.
"Alastor..."
Alastor tilted his head to the side a bit as he scanned her facial expression. He couldn't quite tell what she was thinking. The princess was always a puzzling one. "Yes?"
Charlie had forgot herself, and everything else to be specific. Before she realized what she was doing, she had pushed herself up closer to him and pressed her lips firmly to his.
Alastor's eyes widened once he felt her mouth against his. The warmth and softness enveloped him first, causing his breath to catch. He froze, feeling something twist in his chest. Odd.
Charlie pulled away slowly then blinked her eyes open to look at a startled Alastor. Her eyes widened. "Alastor, oh my- I'm sorry, I- let's just forget-" She started but was abruptly interrupted.
Alastor leaned down and captured her lips with his, snaking his free hand up into her blond hair. He felt her lips part, allowing his tongue entry into her mouth. He couldn't help but release a small groan as he kissed her. She tasted wonderful, dare he say better than his own cooking. An overwhelming feeling of desire completely devoured him. He wanted more. He wanted her. He gently pulled their lips apart, his lips still parted as his eyes burned down into hers.
"Al..." Charlie panted softly, looking up at him.
Alastor was faced with a dilemma. He could either pretend this never happened or act on his basic inner impulses. Everything inside him told him to fight it, so he did. He swiftly pulled off her to stand up. He reached down, gently grabbing her hand to pull her up to stand.
"T-thank you." Charlie said as she fixed the hem of her blazer, her eyes looking up at him.
"Of course." Alastor said, his hands going behind his back as he smiled at her. "I dare say, it may be best to watch where you're going for future reference, darling."
Charlie felt a tingle in her stomach as she listened to him speak. Something was... different. She would of never kissed him before. What was happening to her? And why did she want to do it again? Why did he kiss her back?
Finally. Alastor knew this look on Charlie's face. He struggled with those feelings quite a lot lately. He didn't know what directly caused him to come to Charlie and help with her hotel, but he knew the longer he stayed, the more the demon belle captivated him. He noted the signs of desire and want on her face. His smile wavered slightly, as he fought a battle within himself but soon, he found he couldn't deny them any longer. They had won.
Charlie watched Alastor's smile falter slightly. "Alas-"
Alastor grabbed her, turning her and pushing her back against the wall. His mouth caught hers again, his body flush up against her. He heard her squeak a soft moan then her hands came up to grip the sleeves of his suit jacket. He kissed her with fever; relishing in the way she tasted and how addicting she had become by just one kiss.
"Charlie, what have you done to me..." He breathed into the kiss.
Charlie felt the blush burn across her face as his hand slid down to cup her ass, lifting her leg up to hook on his waist. He let out a soft growl before he moved to her neck, trailing kisses and bites.
Alastor brushed his lips along her neck until he got to her ear. "I want you, Charlie."
Charlie felt her body shutter at the words and his hot breath against her ear. She began to softly pant, her leg squeezing his waist slightly, wanting him closer.
Alastor hummed in approval, his lips kissing against her neck before his free hand trailed down to her pants. His used his claw to rip them open at the crotch. "Mmm, whoops." He breathed then caught her lips with his again. He slid his clawed fingertips under her panties, running a finger gently along her slick folds. "Is that all for me, darling?" He murmured into the kiss.
Charlie gasped softly when she felt his claw move her panties. Her face was bright red now as she nodded. She looked left then right down the hallway, seeing if anyone was watching this obscure display from the feared radio demon.
Alastor grabbed her by the chin and turned her face to look at him. "If you were so worried, you would of said no..." He smiled devilishly at her. His hand had moved to his trousers, unbuttoning and sliding them down just a tad. He pulled out his hard length and rubbed the tip gently along her opening. He felt her tremble as he slid himself slowly inside her. He swallowed the lump in his throat as he bottomed out, watching her lips part as she stared into his eyes. "Good girl..." He leaned in and kissed her passionately. He lifted her other leg around his waist and began to fuck her against the wall of the hallway.
Charlie tried to contain her moans but it was useless. Her moans echoed down the hallway as he whispered praise into her ear. She leaned down and bit into his clothed shoulder, making him growl in response. She mumbled his name in a broken moan.
"What was that?"
Charlie repeated, muffled.
"Speak up, darling." Alastor smirked, his right hand pressed against the wall while his left hand firmly held her up by her ass. He pushed himself deeper and harder into her, coaxing her out of his shoulder.
Charlie whipped her head back, eyes closed tight. "Alastor!" She moaned, her climax building.
"That's it." Alastor panted, his hand moving from the wall to her hair to grasp it in his hand. "Ngk... you take me so well, darling..." His eyes locked in a trance with hers.
"Alastor..." Charlie panted, blush spreading across her face as she stared into Alastor's eyes.
"Beg for me."
"Al-"
Alastor grabbed her face, squeezing his claws into her cheeks. "Beg for me, Charlotte." He growled.
"Please, Alastor..." Charlie begged, her body giving into her sinful desire to obey him.
Alastor was beginning to lose his composure. "Please what?"
"Please make me yours..." Charlie whimpered. She had completely given into him. Her clawed fingertips digging into the shoulders of his suit jacket.
Alastor groaned loudly then captured her lips with his again, kissing her hungrily. He felt her tighten around him as she came, causing a ripple effect; he came inside her with a shudder. He focused on her mouth, the hungry kissing turning soft and tender as they both rid the high. Their hearts beating rapidly against eachother, drowning out any common sense.
Charlie felt Alastor pull away first. He set her down on her feet, letting her fix herself. Her face was almost completely red as she looked up at him. He smiled down at her then raised his hand to snap his fingers. Her pants had been fixed, his pants were properly done again and his jacket didn't have claw marks anymore. He leaned in close to her face but she didn't move, she just looked at him. She was still baffled that happened at all.
"Mine." Alastor said softly. His claw coming up to trace along her jawline, his eyes following the movement. His maroon eyes shot to hers, waiting.
"Yours." Charlie breathed.
Alastor smiled. "Good girl."
Good Luck, Charlie
Chapter Summary
Vaggie has a confession
Charlie opened her eyes. She stared up at her ceiling, still processing what the fuck just happened. A dream? A dream about Alastor. The radio demon. Her co-manager. No, she couldnt think that way. She has Vaggie, her partner. She glanced over at the empty spot beside her. She sighed heavily then ran her hand through her messy hair. Vaggie had seemed distant lately, ever since they found out Sir Pentious was redeemed. Now that she thought about it, she couldn't remember the last time she woke up with her still in the bed. She pushed herself up into a sitting position. Nope, today wouldn't be the day to give into the negative emotions! She had a lot to do and people to help. With determination, Charlie got out of bed to get ready for the day.
~
"I swear, she got it bad." Angel said as he sat at the bar with Husk. "I mean, good for her but he's all the way in heaven."
Husker shrugged. "Redemption is possible. She may find herself up there sooner than she thinks." He picked up a glass to clean it with a cloth.
A knock at the front door.
Husker and Angel both looked towards the door then at each other. Vaggie rounded the corner and eyed the two men at the bar.
"Seriously? Neither of you?" She scoffed then walked over to the door. She opened it abruptly then froze.
Lute stood in the door way. She had her hand on her hip and her foot was tapping away at the ground. It also looked like her left arm waa covered in metal, or prehaps... it was actually a metal arm. She was definitely not happy though. "Hello Vaggie."
Vaggie narrowed her eyes. "It's Vaggie."
Lute paused. Her eyes softened at the sudden memories to swell her brain. She shook it off quickly then rolled her eyes. "Whatever. Sera is tired of waiting. She needs your answer. Now."
"I-I need more time." Vaggie stated.
"No more time." Lute said, her foot still tapping on the floor. She was impatiently waiting for the answer, most likely because she didn't want to be there at all.
"Yes." Vaggie blurted out then her eyes widened slightly.
Lute suddenly smirked at her. "Let's go then."
"I- I can't yet." Vaggie said. "Can't I come later?"
Lute scoffed. "Fine. You got an hour." She waltzed passed Vaggie and into the hotel. She glanced around with narrowed eyes, focusing on the horrendous display of furnishings and design. "I'll wait right here." She plopped herself down on the couch, spreading her arms out along the back as she continued to visibly dislike everything she looked at.
Vaggie grimaced as she watched Lute make herself comfortable. She shot a look to Husker and Angel before hurrying up the stairs to the rooms.
Charlie emerged from across the hall, coming from the kitchen area. She smiled at Husker and Angel, then paused when she saw Lute sitting on the couch.
"Lute."
Lute turned her attention to the Princess of Hell. She smiled widely. "Well, well. Look who it is." She pulled herself off the couch and slowly made her way over to Charlie. "I didn't expect to see you so soon." Her eyes glanced up at the stairs then back at Charlie.
Charlie folded her arms across her chest, eyeing the angel curiously. "Why are you here?" She asked.
"Vaggie just went to go find you." Angel interrupted.
Charlie looked over at Angel then back towards Lute. "Excuse me." She walked over to the stairs, making her way upstairs to find Vaggie.
Lute watched her for a moment, a smirk spread across her face. She looked over at Angel then at Husker. "Are you... a cat?"
Husker pursed his lips as he eyeballed Lute.
~
"Vaggie?" Charlie pushed opened the door to their room to see Vaggie sitting on the edge of the bed. She walked inside and shut the door behind her. "Are you okay?"
Vaggie looked up at Charlie, tears cascading down her face. "Charlie." She managed to say but paused, like she was frozen. Within a moment, Charlie was in front of her, clutching her hands in hers.
"Why are you crying?" Charlie moved some hair out of Vaggie's face.
"I took a deal, Charlie." Vaggie willed herself to say. "Heaven offered me a deal and I took it."
"I don't... what?" Confusion filled Charlie. "What kind of deal?"
Vaggie watched Charlie's face fill with fragility but she had to continue. "They've asked me to help with redemption. My status will be restored and I can be you liason in Heaven." She explained, her eye focused on Charlie.
"Vaggie..." Charlie gripped her hands in hers. "I'm happy for you."
Vaggie could see the tears forming along the lids of her eyes but Charlie still smiled. "Charlie..."
"No, Vaggie." Charlie cut her off. "This is great. I'm so unbelievably happy." She lifted her hand to grip Vaggie's shoulder. "This is exactly what I'm trying to do here. What we're trying to do here." She looked solemn as she spoke. "I'm glad you took the deal."
Vaggie felt her eyes well with tears as she stared at Charlie. How could Heaven not bend the rules for Charlie? Out of every morbid creature of Hell, she deserved heavenly bliss most of all. "I'm leaving in a half hour."
Before Vaggie could say anymore, Charlie leaned in and hugged her tightly. "I'll miss you."
"I'll miss you too." Vaggie held Charlie, realizing it would be the last time for either forever or a very long time. She pulled her closer. "I'll always love you, you know." She almost choked.
Charlie pulled away to look at her. She reached her hand up to wipe the tears from Vaggie's eyes. "I know. Me too." She smiled, tears glimmering in her eyes.
Vaggie smiled softly when she did. No matter how dire a situation was, she always lit up a room. She leaned in and kissed Charlie on the cheek. "Good luck, Charlie."

It had been a month since Vaggie had left for Heaven. The hotel was running smoothly and there were even a few patrons that had come for redemption. But it felt quiet.
Charlie was curled up in her bed, drifting in and out of sleep. She had held it altogether until Vaggie had walked out the door. She hadnt left her room in a month, though she would stumble to the shower and sometimes she'd grab the food left outside her door by Niffty. She was so extremely happy that Vaggie had accended back to Heaven so why did it hurt so much? They had made the decision to separate, which broke both of them. They needed to help their people, in their own ways. As hellborn, she would never accend. But Vaggie could, and Charlie would hate her for all eternity if she never took it. That's all she wanted, was for people who deserved it to get better in their afterlife. With Vaggie gone now, she felt like half of herself.
Just as she began to doze off again, there was a loud knock at the door.
"Please come back later!" Charlie managed to yell then turned her face into her pillow.
"Charlie, darling, may I come in?"
Silence.
"Charlie?"
"Fine."
The door opened and Alastor stepped inside. He shut the door behind him, his eyes on Charlie bundled up in the blankets.
"What can I help you with, Alastor?" Charlie asked, laying on her bed with her back to him.
"Oh Charlie." Alastor tutted. "This won't do at all." He made his way over to her. "I believe you are in need of some pampering. Let's go."
Charlie looked over her shoulder at him. He wore his usual smile with those damn sinfully delicious maroon eyes. She quickly also noticed that he had his hand out to her. "Pampering...?" She murmured. "Go where?"
Alastor just smiled at her, his hand out, patiently waiting.
Charlie stared at him. Everything inside her told her not to trust this sinner, that he was going to be nothing but bad for her. But something also compelled her to want to find out. She turned then sat on the edge of the bed. She looked up into his eyes. She took his hand.
Alastor gently tugged her into a standing position. His hand slid to the small of her back as he pulled her flush against him. His eyes burning into hers. With a snap of his fingers, they vanished.
~
They appeared at the entrance of cannibal town. Charlie looked around briefly before Alastor hooked her arm and began to walk with her. It also seemed Alastor had switched her clothes from pajamas to her regular attire, though she still looked like she lost a battle with hygiene.
"Cannibal town?" She looked over at Alastor as they walked.
"I'm quite positive Rosie can brighten your day!" Alastor said in a cheery grin.
Alastor led them through the town to Rosie's Emporium. He opened the door and gestured for her to walk inside. "After you, my dear."
Charlie glanced at him then entered the shop. She wasn't honestly sure what Rosie sold in her shop but the fact the town was called Cannibal Town, made her question it.
"Oh my, Alastor! Charlie!"
Alastor now stood beside Charlie, his hands behind his back and his usual smile on his face. "Good afternoon, Rosie! I hope we aren't interrupting."
"Nonsense!" Rosie waved her hand quickly in the air as she approached them. "What do I owe the pleasure?" Her eyes scanned Alastor then she settled on Charlie. "Ah, I see."
Charlie looked down at herself. She wasn't her normal chipper self, and it presented itself very clearly on her. She grimaced at Rosie. "Is it that bad?"
Rosie pursed her lips but said nothing. Possibly to avoid being rude. She turned to Alastor. "I got this from here, Alastor. You can come collect her later."
"Wonderful!" Alastor fixed his bow tie then turned to look down at Charlie. "I have some business to attend to but I'll be back later to bring you back to the hotel." He reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Relax." He smiled. He dropped his hand and walked out the door.
Charlie watched him leave, a concerned look on her face. She wasn't concerned about being in cannibal town or with Rosie, but the fact that Alastor more than likely had some murderous errands to attend to.
"Come, sit." Rosie pulled her from her thoughts when she hooked her arm and led her over to a bistro table for two. She sat Charlie down and conjured some tea, setting it in the middle of the table as she sat opposite of Charlie. "Now, don't be so worried about Alastor. He can take care of himself." She poured them tea.
Charlie focused on Rosie's movements before looking up into her black eyes. "Oh, I'm not worried about Al. I'm worried about the poor souls he's about to-" She cut herself off then waved her hands in the air to shake the thought. "No, I don't want to think about it. I have too much going on right now."
Rosie picked her tea up in her hands. "Remember dear, I'm very good in the romance department." She sipped her tea.
Charlie sighed. "Vaggie was redeemed back to Heaven." She plopped a sugar cube into the tea then stirred it slowly with her spoon. "I'm very happy for her, because it's what I'm trying to do. Redeem souls, but..." she trailed off, watching the liquid of the tea swirl around the spoon.
"It's natural to miss her, sweetie." Rosie leaned over and grabbed Charlie's free hand, squeezing it gently. "One thing I learned through all my years is if it's meant to be, it'll be." She squeezed her hand once more before letting go.
~
Rosie and Charlie talked the whole afternoon. Rosie had even brought out sandwiches that weren't made of fingers or intestines, which Charlie appreciated immensely. She was finally smiling again, lighting up the room with her laughter.
"Ah, Alastor!" Rosie said aloud as she watched him enter the shop. Charlie turned in her chair to look back at Alastor.
He paused, ever so slightly. Charlie was smiling, and it made something inside his chest... flutter. Odd. "Good evening, ladies." Alastor smiled as he walked up to their table. "I take it this afternoon was enjoyable?" He looked from Rosie to Charlie, a knowing look in his eyes.
Charlie smiled. "Yes. Very enjoyable." She looked over at Rosie. "I'll come back for tea soon."
"Please do!" Rosie chirped as both women stood.
"Always a pleasure." Alastor took Rosie's hand and placed a small kiss on the back of her hand. He released her then hooked Charlie's arm with his. "Goodnight, my dear!" They left the shop with Charlie waving goodbye to Rosie.
"It's marvelous to see your smile again, darling." Alastor said, his gaze directly ahead of them as they walked.
"Thank you, Al."
Alastor looked over at her. The corner of his mouth twitched slightly but he was sure she didn't notice. "Of course. I couldn't let you keep dwelling in despair. We have a hotel to run after all!"
Charlie smiled brightly at him, and she could of swore she saw his mouth twitch. For what reason, she wasn't sure. She glanced at his suit quickly, noting it was still pristine and had no evidence of a scuffle. She never noticed before how well he wore that suit. He looked-
"Something on your mind?"
Charlie's eyes shot up to Alastor's. Her cheeks flushed a bit as she fought herself to form words. "I just... noticed your suit!" He raised an eyebrow. "The business you had this afternoon, I'm glad to see it didn't lead to anything... physical."
Alastor chuckled. "My dear, of course it did!" He stated. "But I would never present myself to the public in a torn suit."
"Are you hurt?"
Alastor paused at the concern layered in her voice. He closed his eyes, looking smug and coy. "Not at all! No one would be stupid enough to touch me." He looked at her, his eyes menacing. He was the feared radio demon. No one would dare cross him.
Charlie nodded then looked ahead of her. She wasn't afraid of him, even though she should be. She was the most powerful being in Hell, aside from her father. If she wanted to, she could tear Alastor down a peg or two but she didn't. She didn't want to do that at all, or even have all the hellfire powers she possessed. It seemed the angel in her took more possession than her demonic side did.
Alastor watched her curiously for a moment before looking ahead as well. "Splendid evening for a walk." He commented.
Charlie and Alastor walked the rest of the way back to the hotel. Not many words were shared between the two but an oddly comforting lull enveloped them.

A nightmare and a late night conversation

Charlie abruptly sat up in her bed. Her chest heaving and sweat cascading down her face. She looked horrified as she tried to calm herself. She wiped her face with her hands but couldn't stop the tears that began to flow down her face. What was happening to her? First, the sexual explicit dream about Alastor and now a dream of Alastor being seriously wounded? She rubbed her face as her hands shook, trying to calm herself. It felt so real and her heart nearly shattered at the memory. She cared about every single soul in Hell but something about Alastor made her question herself. Did she... have feelings for him? Oh lord, surely not! She whipped the blankets off her and rose from her bed. She made her way into the bathroom to splash some water on her face. Her eyes scanned her facial features in the mirror then she sighed heavily to herself.
"Get ahold of yourself, Charlie."
Charlie left her bedroom and made her way downstairs to the kitchen. Usually a late night snack and some tea helped her get back to sleep after a nightmare. She entered the kitchen, leaving the lights off. She could see very well in the dark, surprisingly. She filled the kettle with water and flicked the knob on. She pulled out a few sweet crackers to nibble as she waited for the water. She sat at the table, her head resting against her arms on the table.
"Darling?"
Charlie felt herself be gently shook. Her eyes blinked open to see Alastor standing over her. "Al...?"
Alastor smiled at her. "You seem to have dozed off." He placed a hot cup of tea down on the table in front of her.
Charlie raised her head and stretched, making a small mewing sound as she did. Alastor's ear twitched. She put both hands on the cup then smiled up at Alastor. "Thank you." But her smile quickly dropped when her nightmare flickered into reality.
Alastor eyed her curiously. "Bad dreams?" He asked as he sat down next to her, a bitter coffee in his hand. He wasn't fond of tea.
Charlie blinked the imagery away then looked down at the tea in her hands. "Yes."
"Dreams are just a reflection of your subconscious. What you're afraid of, and what you truly desire." Alastor explained then sipped his coffee. "Nothing more, nothing solid." His eyes looked over at her.
Charlie didn't look at him, she just nodded instead. "I know." She picked up her tea and took a drink. When had she become so worried about the overlord's health? He was more than capable of protecting himself. "I worry too much about others, and sometimes it has a lasting effect that spills into my dreams." She looked at him with a smile. "But I know the dreams aren't real."
Alastor smiled mischievously at her. "Oh, my dear, I never said dreams aren't real." He sipped his coffee, his maroon eyes on her.
Charlie's smile faltered as she stared at him. "But you just sa-"
Alastor raised his finger which cut her off from talking. "I said dreams weren't solid, which is true." He looked at her. "But real and solid are two different entities." He could see the wheels turning in her head. His smile broadened. "You may not be able to touch your dreams but the feelings you experience with them are real, but not solid enough to touch."
Charlie looked down at her tea. This may be a problem then. Her dreams had quickly began to include the radio demon and it scared her, but also excited her. "Do you have dreams?" She looked over at him again.
"Definitely not." Alastor waved it away with a chuckle, sipping his coffee again. "I don't sleep, my dear. I haven't slept since I died."
Charlie eyed him. "What... do you do at night?"
"I usually wander the halls, have some coffee," He lifted his cup. "Read..." He trailed off.
"Alastor."
Alastor looked over at her with an amused expression. "Hmm?"
"Please please tell me you don't spy on people when they're asleep."
Alastor kept his eyes on hers, his smile never wavering. He lifted his cup to his lips. "Not always." He sipped the dark liquid.
"Al!"
Alastor chuckled. "I'm just teasing, my dear!" He set the coffee cup down on the table. "I have no interest in watching others sleep. How boring!"
Charlie pursed her lips as she eyed him. She wasn't sure if believed him or not but he never lied to her before. Oddly, he was very honest for how despicable he was. She finished her tea and got up to put the cup in the sink. "Thank you, for the tea. Or, making the tea I fell asleep to." She giggled.
Alastor smiled warmly at her. Oh, how he loved to hear that laugh. His eyes narrowed quickly at the thought then resumed his regular facade. "Of course." He stood then snapped his fingers, both cups becoming clean and put away in the cupboard. His hands went behind his back and clenched together.
"Goodnight, Al." Charlie smiled then walked passed him, gently grazing him as she walked by. She turned to look at him. "Sorry!"
"No need to worry." Alastor turned to look at her. "Accident happen!"
A deep red blush spread across her cheeks as she stared at him. Her mind quickly replayed the dream she had of Alastor. He had said those exact words before...
"Uh... y-yeah. Goodnight!" She turned quickly and headed down the hallway, not waiting for him to respond back.
She climbed the stairs and hurried to her room. The door shut a bit loudly behind her then she leaned her back against it. Her chest rising and falling quickly. She lifted her fingers to her lips, remembering kissing him in the dream but she felt nothing. She dropped her hand. Dreams were nothing solid. How could she know what his lips felt like when she had never kissed him? As if it were possible, the red on her face darkened more. Kiss him?! Alastor?! She shook her head violently as she made her way to her bed. The man despised touching of any kind, let alone physical or emotional connection. She pulled the covers back on her bed and slipped under the sheets. She pulled her extra pillow flush against her as her mind raced. She couldn't help but picture him overtop of her, kissing her hungrily. She closed her eyes tightly but it just made it worse. She saw herself pressed against the wall, Alastor holding her up as he claimed her for his own.
"Oh for Heaven's sake." Charlie grumbled to herself then rolled onto her back, her arms spread out.
She stared up at the ceiling then swallowed softly. What if she were to give into the dreams? She was alone, it wasn't like anyone was watching. She glanced at her door. She thought about what Alastor said about not sleeping, and how he didn't watch people sleep. She squeezed her legs together, feeling the pulse between her legs. Had he watched her while she slept? Her hands slowly trailed down to her pajama bottoms. She slid her hand under the waistband and gently rubbed her two fingers along the outside of her panties. She bit her bottom lip. Would he leave if he saw her like this or would he stay and watch from the shadows? Her eyes scanned her dark room until she settled on a dark spot in the corner. She let out a soft moan as she felt her panties wetten from her touch.
"Al..." Charlie breathed, her eyes locked on the dark corner of her room.
Her fingers slid under the fabric of her panties to slip along her slick folds. She closed her eyes and tilted her head back slightly as she dipped her fingers inside herself.
Good girl.
Charlie gasped softly as she pulled her finger out then pushed it back in. She slipped in another finger. She began to pant at the sudden arousal, letting it overtake her completely. She moaned as her other hand moved under and up her pajama top to fondle her breast. Her desire dripped down her thigh as she continued to pleasure herself to the thought of Alastor. It was her dirty little secret. She accidently punctured her bottom lip with her fang and gasped softly. Her hand released her breast and went up to her lip. She touched her lip then looked at the blood on her fingers. She saw something from the corner of her eye and looked up at the dark corner of her room. Her breathing hitched as she stared into the blackness. The moonlight shone through the window, lighting her room to show she was alone. She relaxed then looked back down at her bloody fingers. She sighed heavily and pulled herself out of bed to clean herself up in the bathroom.

Charlie was up earlier than normal this morning. She had a terrible time trying to sleep. Alastor seemed to crowd her dreams which made it even harder for her to focus during the day. She distracted herself to the best of her abilities and continued with the lesson plans she had set for the day.
Charlie sat at the desk she shared with Alastor, flicking through some papers with her head rested on her other hand. Alastor took care of the bills and such and since her father helped rebuild the hotel, it wasn't so rinky dinky anymore. There wasn't much to improve, other than the residents of course. She smiled to herself. Redemption was possible and she would help every single person she could. Then her smile fell. Everyone would leave, just like Vaggie and Sir Pentious. Hellborn would stay but... she'd lose all her friends. She shook the thought. No, not lose. They'd be friends still, just... farther away. She sighed and rubbed her face.
"More bad dreams?"
Charlie whipped her head up to see Alastor standing at the door. He had his usual smile spread across his face as he shut the door behind him. "Yes." She looked down at the papers in front of her before he saw the blush on her face.
Alastor tutted. "Sleep is an important part of the day." He said as he walked over to the table. "Anything I can do to help?"
Charlie paused. Her eyes slowly looked up at him. He was smirking down at her. "N-no." She said quickly, a bit too quickly.
"Hmmm." Alastor hummed then walked around the table to sit in his chair. He turned slightly to look at her while he leaned back in the chair. "I could... take your dreams away." He lightly ran his finger over his top lip as he watched her.
Charlie watched his finger then looked back up at his eyes. "I'm not making another deal, Alastor."
Alastor smiled. "Of course not! That wasn't my intention." He said. "I could remove your dreams for the time being, so you could catch up on sleep. It wouldn't be permanent."
"And what would you get for this... offer?" Charlie asked.
Alastor's smile widened as he looked at her. "I will admit, I am quite curious what kind of dreams have drained you so fiercely."
Charlie paused and he definitely noticed.
"Tell me what troubles you and I'll give you the rest you so desire."
Charlie looked back down at the papers in front of her. "No, that's fine. Thank you." She tried to compose herself. He didn't know, how could he possibly know? Everything was fine. She could deal with this.
"Suit yourself." Alastor eyed her then turned his attention to his own paperwork.
~
Charlie smiled widely as she watched everyone laugh over dinner. It was so nice seeing everyone enjoying themselves and the food. Alastor was quite a chef and prepared his mother's famous jambalaya. It was always a hit among the residents, even though he normally didn't grace them with his presence at dinner. But tonight, he was here, sat at the end of the table, opposite of her. She scooped some jambalaya onto her spoon then into her mouth. She let out a pleased hum. "Absolutely delicious! Thank you, Al!"
Alastor had already finished eating. He was leaning back in the chair with a glass of wine in his hand. His eyes looked over at Charlie when she spoke. His thin smile turned wide, baring his teeth, as he nodded. "It's always a pleasure." He said.
Charlie tried to fight the little blush on her face when he locked eyes with her. She turned her attention to Angel. "How was your day today, Angel?"
Angel paused mid spoonful to his mouth as he looked at Charlie. "Uh... good?" He pushed the spoon into his mouth. He swallowed. "Val worked me to death today. Well, if I wasn't already dead, I mean." He scoffed then scooped his last spoonful of jambalaya onto his spoon.
Husker rolled his eyes. He sat next to Angel. He hated when Val was brought up but he didn't say a word. He knew the deal, since he was in one himself. He glanced at Alastor before putting his spoon into his empty bowl. "Always good, boss." He said then pushed away from the table.
Niffty began to grab the dishes on the table but Alastor clicked his tongue. Which caused Niffty to stop and look up at him.
"Don't worry about it tonight, my dear Niffty. Charlie and I got the dishes tonight."
Everyone looked over at Charlie who stared at Alastor with wide eyes. "We... do?"
Alaator stood up. "Of course!" He picked up his bowl and wine glass and made his way to the sink.
Husker shrugged. He wasn't too concerned about it, as long as Alastor didn't bother him specifically. He made his way out of the dining room.
"Awe, thanks guys." Angel cooed as he stood up. He leaned down to Charlie. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do." He winked which made Charlie's brows furrow. He chuckled then followed Husker out, Nifty in tow behind him.
Now they were alone. Completely alone.
Charlie swallowed then stood up. She began to gather all the dishes on the table. Why didn't he just magic everything clean and be done with it? Why was he doing mundane chores, and with her? She made her way over to the sink. She stood beside him as she set the dishes on the counter. She glanced over at him.
Alastor was humming softly as he rinsed the dishes. He set them back on the counter before filling the sink with soapy water. His eyes looked over at her and she quickly looked down at the counter top.
"Uh, so, why didn't you just magic these all clean?" Charlie looked back up at Alastor.
"It's refreshing sometimes to remember the human I once was." Alastor stated, his eyes going back to the sink.
Charlie paused. She always seemed to forget Alastor was a sinner. She would eventually redeem him as well, and he'd leave too. She looked down at the counter top, her fingers curling into the palms of her hands. She was torn between wanting to be close to all her friends and seeing them be redeemed.
"Charlie?"
Charlie broke her train of thought when he spoke. She looked at him to see him passing her a clean bowl. She picked up the dry cloth and took it from him, brushing her fingers along his. She turned her face away enough for him to not see the blush on her face.
Alastor studied her for a moment before resuming washing the dishes. "I must admit, I am a bit balked that you won't share your frustrations with me."
Charlie set the dry bowl on the counter before she looked over at him. He passed her another bowl, locking eyes with her. He kept hold of the bowl when she gripped it.
"Have I not been anything but honest with you?" Alastor asked. "As your partner, in business, and as a friend, I would assume you'd be able to share your problems with me."
Charlie couldn't believe what she was hearing. Did those words just come out of his mouth? She glanced down at the bowl then back into his eyes. "I-I..." She stuttered. "It's nothing, really, to concern yourself with."
Alastor narrowed his eyes slightly. He pulled the bowl closer to himself, which caused Charlie to move closer to him as well. They would be touching if there wasn't a bowl between them. "Darling, if I wasn't concerned, I wouldn't of asked."
Charlie's lips parted slightly as she stared up at him. What was going on? Was she stuck inside the twilight zone? Was she dreaming again?
Alastor's eyes shifted to her bottom lip, seeing the small fang puncture in her lip. He lifted his free hand and grazed his thumb along her bottom lip. "How did you do this?" He asked.
Charlie didn't move. The blush spread across her face like wildfire as she watched him. She felt his thumb brush against her lip and repressed a shiver at how good his touch felt. "I... bit my lip too hard." She admitted.
Alastor's eyes shot to hers. He stilled his thumb on her bottom lip. He looked as if he was contemplating something. Then he pulled away, releasing the bowl and turning his attention back to the sink. "You should be more careful, dear."
Charlie blinked then nodded. "Y-yeah." She began to dry the bowl, setting it with the other.
They finished the dishes in silence. Charlie's mind went a million miles per second. She wondered why he cared so much about her mental health? And her lip? This was a side of him she never thought she'd see. Maybe redemption was working for him too? Oh my, that would be wonderful! Even though it tore at her heart to think of him leaving her as well.
"I'm tired, Al. I'm going to head to bed." Charlie said, less pep in her voice than normal.
She turned to walk to the door when she felt Alastor grab her wrist. Before she could turn around to look at him, he twirled her into his chest and wrapped his arms securely around her. One hand on the small of her back and the other softly petting her head.
"Dreams aren't solid." Alastor said softly into her hair, barely a whisper.
Charlie's facial expression softened at his words. The palms of her hands gently pressed against his chest as he held her. He obviously didn't know the dreams were about him, how could he possibly know? And how could he know that the fact they weren't solid pained her more than he could ever know. She closed her eyes and let herself relax in his embrace. It wasnt often he hugged anyone so she selfishly took what he offered. She had never been so close to him before. He smelt of old books, and a wood fire with a hint of whiskey. It was absolutely intoxicating.
Charlie almost whimpered when he pulled away to look at her.
"Don't let them consume you." Alastor said, his clawed finger coming up to trace down her cheek, and off her jaw. He smiled his regular devious smile.
Charlie felt her body move forward towards him ever so slightly and immediately stopped herself. If he noticed, he didn't react. "I'll... try. Thank you, Al." She smiled sweetly, even though it was fake. She turned, and walked out of the kitchen.
Alastor watched her leave then leaned back against the counter. His head tilted slightly to the side. He snapped his fingers and all the dishes were put away and the kitchencounter cleaned.
~
Charlie gripped her pillow against her chest, the tears flowing from her naturally red eyes. She gasped softly into the pillow, letting herself feel everything for the first time in a month. She had cried when Vaggie left but only that day. She had been determined to keep it all inside, to prove how strong she was but strength doesn't mean how well you can hold back your emotions. Strength is how you handle yourself through the situations that rock you to your core. She closed her eyes tightly, almost holding her breath to keep her sobbing quiet. She fought a vicious battle in her head. She loved Vaggie but she didn't know if they were destined to be together. And now the feelings for Alastor were becoming more than apparent. Was she... falling in love with Alastor? She opened her eyes slowly to peer out the window across from her bed. The dark red of night cascading through her window and softly lighting up her room. She felt the tears slide down her face and soak into the pillow under her head. How could she be so stupid to fall for someone like the radio demon? He would never reprociate the feelings she had, all it would ever do is lead her into an inevitable heartbreak. She tried to stifle her sobs but some echoed throughout her room. Surely no one would hear her, it was the middle of the nigh-
There was a knock at her door.
Charlie pushed herself up to look over at her door. Her heart stuck in her throat as she stared at the door. She waited. There was another knock. She pulled the covers off her and slipped off the bed. She walked over to the door and grabbed the handle. She twisted it and pulled open the door. Her lips parted slightly when she saw Alastor standing at her door. "Alastor?"
Alastor immediately noticed the tears staining her face and her saddened composure. He pressed his lips into a thin line, his hands already behind his back. "Charlie, my dear, I apologize for the... interruption this late at night but I could hear your sobbing as I made my way down the hall."
Charlie looked mortified. She turned away from him to wipe her eyes. "I'm fine, it's okay." She quickly said.
Alastor gently grabbed her by the chin to turn her face back to his. "I've been around long enough to know you are surely not fine." He said.
Charlie stared into his eyes. She felt another tear escape her eye and slip down her face. Alastor lifted his other hand to gently wipe the tear off her face. His eyes going back to hers once the tear was gone. He slowly leaned in then hesitated, like he was conflicted.
Charlie broke eye contact with him, looking off to the side. "Please, Al... don't worry about it. I can handle this..." She didn't sound so sure. Her eyes looked back at him.
Alastor caught something in her eyes just then. He could see the swirling pain and sorrow but also... something else. Something he was not too familiar with. Desire. His eyes scanned her face for a moment. "What ails you, darling?" He said softly.
Charlie was taken aback by his soft demeanor. Did he just speak without radio static? She stared at him in shock for a moment too long. He raised his eyebrow, waiting for her response. "A lot of things..." She admitted.
"Care to elaborate?"
"I've been dreaming about you." Charlie blurted out.
Alastor froze.
Charlie's face flushed red. "I... should not of told you that. That was- aha, I'm... I'm sorry." She sputtered out. "I'm sure it's just because-"
Alastor closed the distance between them and pressed his lips firmly against hers. She knew his lips touched hers but it didn't feel... solid. Oh for fuck sakes.
Charlie opened her eyes to stare up at her ceiling in her sunlit room. Morning. It was a dream. Again. She sighed heavily and grabbed her pillow, smothering it over her face as she softly growled into it in frustration. She had a feeling this was going to get even worse.

The day ticked away and still no sign of Charlie. Alastor tapped his claw against the wooden counter of the bar impatiently. It wasn't like her to miss a whole day, especially since redemption was more than possible now. Apparently. He scoffed at the thought. He wasn't as fascinated as everyone else in that category. Heaven wouldnt be as entertaining as Hell was. Besides, this little hotel venture of theirs could last quite a long while. Charlie was hellborn and would reside in Hell, unlike the sinners she redeems. What kind of despair would the hotel fall to without his help? Just a bunch of rubbish.
He stopped tapping his claw and looked over at Husker, who was staring at him. "Yes?"
"Nothin'." Husker replied, sliding him his usual whiskey.
Alastor eyed him then grasped the glass in his hand. He swished the golden liquid around in the glass, pondering. "Say, Husker..."
Husker looked up from the glass he was cleaning. He set it down to pick up his own drink. "Hmm?"
"Have you noticed that Charlie seems a bit off as of late?"
Husker raised his eyebrow. "I think we've all noticed." He took a gulp of his drink.
"Hmm." Alastor said, swirling his drink again before tossing it back. He set the glass delicately back down on the counter. He stood and turned to leave without another word.
Husker watched him vanish down the hallway and let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. As much as he didn't have a filter with Alastor, even he knew when to mind his business. He figured Charlie was fine, but the look in Alastor's eyes a few moments ago almost sent shivers down his spine.
Alastor made his way upstairs and further to the princess' room. He debated if he should even bother her but it bothered him more that she abandoned the day without so much as a word. He knocked on her door and waited. He listened carefully for her voice. He heard a murmur from behind the door and turned the door knob, pushing the door open. He glanced around her room then paused when he saw her in bed with her back to him. Again. He scoffed and entered her room. "My dear, not this again." He shut the door behind him and made his way over. "This simply will not do."
"Al..." Charlie mumbled softly.
"Yes darling, it's me and must I say that I'm absolutely shocked that you-" He looked over her to see her fast asleep. He froze.
Did she say his name in her sleep?
Alastor looked over her quiet sleeping form. Her lips were slightly parted and her lip twitched in a quick smile.
And it seemed it was a good dream.
As much of a gentleman as he was, he was also extremely curious about why she had been so flustered and aggravated lately. He sat down on the edge of the bed, glancing over at her.
"Alastor..." Charlie softly panted.
Alastor tensed. He stood up abruptly, doing so out of clear shock. He felt a small burn on his cheeks. Did she just pant... his name? He looked back over at her. Surely he should not be snooping. She'd tell him eventually, maybe. He turned to leave but she spoke again.
"Don't stop..." Charlie breathed.
Alaator felt the tug in his chest again. His breath hitched as he stood in place, like a statue. His maroon eyes slowly scanned back to her sleeping body, absolutely bewildered and very flushed. He swallowed dryly. He eventually willed himself to move and with a snap of his fingers, he vanished.
Charlie jerked up into a sitting position. Her chest rose and fell heavily as her wide eyes scanned her dark bedroom. She sighed and put her hand to her face. Another dream. She looked over at her clock. And she missed the whole day. She laid back down and stared up at her ceiling. Might as well try to sleep some more since it was too late for anything else.
Alastor sat down in one of his chairs in his room, his hand going into his hair as his wide eyes stared down at the floor. That was an extremely unfortunate situation he walked in on. He should of waited for a clear answer from her instead of walking in at a soft sound. He leaned back in his chair, his hand dropping into his lap with his other hand. She was dreaming, about him. And it was a good dream. A very good dream apparently. He closed his eyes tightly and rubbed the bridge of his nose. Was that why she had been so off lately? Because she was having sexual dreams about him? He opened his eyes slowly. She was very responsive to him in the dream, so much so that he heard those gorgeous lips pant his name. He felt the blush creep back up in his face. A tug in his chest jolted him out of his daze. He narrowed his eyes slightly.
"Interesting..." He murmured to himself.
A knock on the door.
Alastor turned his head to the door and stood up. He walked over and opened the door. He smiled down at the princess. How peculiar that she would show up just as he thought of her, like he willed it into existence.
"Good evening, my dear."
Charlie blushed. "Hi Al. I just wanted to come and apologize for not being present today." She glanced down then clasped her hands together before looking back up at him. "You know I haven't been sleeping well, and it seems my body decided today was the day to catch up on sleep."
Don't stop.
Alastor smiled widely at her. "Of course. Completely understandable."
Charlie smiled back. "I promise tomorrow will be a better day. Very productive!"
The radio demon's eyes stared down at her. "That's the spirit!"
Charlie turned to leave but paused. Alastor raised an eyebrow as he watched her. "Is there something else?" He asked.
The princess turned to look at him, the smile completely gone from her face. She looked... serene. Before another thought could enter Alastor's mind, Charlie lunged at him. Her arms wrapped around his waist, her face pressing into his chest. He stumbled back slightly, caught off guard by her sudden physical affection.
"Thank you... for being understanding. And patient." She spoke into his chest. Her face flushed when she breathed him in.
His eyes looked down at her. For once, his smile turned genuine. He gently placed his arms around her. "Always, darling."
Charlie lifted her face to look up at him. He didn't move away from her when she completely disrespected his boundaries. "I'm sor-"
Alastor placed a finger over her lips. He didn't say a word, he just looked into her eyes with a knowing smile.
Charlie smiled against his finger. How did he know her so well? It was like he knew she was going to apologize before she did.
He removed his finger from her lips, refraining from shuddering at her hot breath against his skin. "Are you hungry?"
The mention of food caused Charlie's stomach to grumble. She blushed. "Yes."
Alastor chuckled at her then broke them apart. He locked her arm in his as they walked down the hallway. "I made a delicious meal for dinner. I put some aside for you."
Charlie looked at him with a thoughtful expression. "Thank you, Al."
"Of course, my dear." Alastor patted her arm as they walked down the corridor to the stairs. They made their way down and into the kitchen. He released her arm and set about to prepare the dish in the fridge.
Charlie sat down at the table, her hand leaning against her cheek as she watched him go about the kitchen. "Anything interesting happen today?"
"Alastor..." Charlie panted.
Alastor froze but quickly regained his composure. "Not too much. Just the usual riff raff between the patrons." He said as he dished her dinner up. He turned and set it down in front of her. "Bon Appétit." He smiled then sat down across from her.
"Oh, Al. This looks delicious." Charlie licked her lips, not realizing Alastor was staring at the action intensely. She picked up her fork and dug into her meal.
Alastor's hand gripped his pants under the table as he listened to her moan about how delicious it was. He kept his eyes focused on her lips and wondered if he could get her to pant his name for real. He flinched at the idea, turning his head away to process what was going on. Had he fallen for the princess? How ridiculous that sounded. He looked back over at her. She slipped the fork into her mouth. Her eyes closed as she pulled the fork from her mouth, moaning softly. Alastor parted his lips as he watched her. That answered his question. He was in trouble.
"Amazing." Charlie patted her lips with a napkin when she was finished and looked over at him. She paused when she saw his expression. Was he... blushing?
"Al?"
Alastor snapped back to reality. He smiled at her and waved his hand in the air. "I would never have served it if it was anything less than perfection." He stated then stood. He took her plate and brought it to the sink. He swallowed the lump in his throat as he cleaned the dish.
"I could of washed that." Charlie had stood up and had now placed a hand on his shoulder. "It would of only been fair." She smiled at him when he turned to look at her. She saw his smile falter. He looked the same as he did in the dream. Was he about to kiss her? No, definitely not. "Alas-"
Alastor didn't let her finish. He leaned in without hesitation and pressed his lips against hers. His index finger and thumb pinching her chin upwards to him.
Real. This was real. His scent intoxicated her immediately. And his lips. His lips were so soft and sweet, like honey. Even though he wasn't a fan of desserts of any kind, he tasted as sweet as one. She felt her eyes flutter closed as her hands came up to gently rest on his forearms. Her mouth responded to him, moving against his in sync.
He groaned into her mouth and pulled her against him. His hand gliding to the back of her hair to grip it as he tilted her face to have better access to her mouth. His tongue slid in-between her lips. He wanted to taste every bit of her. He didn't realize how starved he was until he kissed her. He broke the kiss by gently pulling her head back, a rope of salvia breaking as they parted. His eyes opened to look into hers.
"Al-Alastor..." Charlie panted softly, her cheeks flushed. Her eyed locked on his.
Alastor smirked down at her. It seemed it would be easier than he thought.

Charlie stared up into Alastor's eyes. Her heart fluttered. This was real. This was not a dream. He had just kissed her and she kissed him back.
Alastor amusedily watched her expressions shift on her face before pulling completely away from her. He tucked his hands behind his back with a devious smile across his mouth.
As if on cue, Angel pushed the door open and eyed them. "Good mornin', blondie!" He said with a smile. "Where have you been?" He put his hands on his hips. His gaze drifting from Charlie to Alastor then back to Charlie.
Charlie looked over at Angel, a small blush across her face. She tried to speak but nothing came out.
"I just prepared her dinner from earlier. The poor dear was exhausted and slept the day away." Alastor said as he turned back around to dry the clean dishes.
"Oooooh." Angel said as he walked over to them. "Been having some frisky dreams, eh?" He nudged Charlie. "No need to be shy. I heard you the other night." He winked.
Charlie turned bright red and looked at Angel. "I'm-I'm sure you're mistaken!" She waved her hands at him. She glanced at Alastor who seemed to be thoroughly entertained before looking back at Angel.
Angel laughed. "I'm just teasin', Char." He glanced at Alastor then back at Charlie. "Normal day tomorrow?"
"Yes. Normal day tomorrow." Charlie said then pursed her lips together. She refused to make eye contact with Alastor.
Angel nodded. "Don't let strawberry pimp keep you awake tonight. You need your sleep." He nudged her again then grabbed a bag of chips on the counter. "Ciao!" He made his way out of the kitchen.
Charlie watched the door close behind Angel. Her gaze slowly turned to Alastor. He hadn't moved an inch. He just stood there, staring at her with a shit eating grin across his face.
"I assume by the way your face changed color that Angel was on the money, hmm?"
Charlie's eyes widened a bit then she looked away. "Uh, I should go to bed. I need to be well rested for tomorrow." She pushed away from the counter and hurried towards the door.
"Sweet dreams, darling."
Charlie paused at the door. She turned her head to look back at him. His eyes were looking down at her feet then slowly scanned up her body until he settled on her eyes. It was hard to tell his emotions through his smile but his eyes... she could see the mischief and hunger that sent shivers down her spine. She swallowed. "See you in the morning." She saw his lips curl up more before she pushed the door open and left the kitchen.
Charlie tossed and turned in her bed. She let out a frustrated sigh before settling on her back. She stared at the familiar spot on her ceiling. She could still smell Alastor's lingering scent on her clothes. She gripped her top and lifted it up to smell it, closing her eyes, reveling in the scent. She paused and released her shirt. What was she doing? She was acting like a love struck teenager. She scoffed to herself. Love? No way. It was just infatuation because she was lacking in that department lately. But... why did he kiss her? She pondered the thought. Had he developed feelings for her as well? Or was he reacting to the moment? She sat up in her bed and ran her hands along her face.
"What is going on..." She breathed to herself.
Mine.
Charlie blushed then removed her hands from her face. Her eyes glanced over to the dark corner of her room. She felt excitement pool inside her and bit her bottom lip. Of course he wasn't there watching her. He was a gentleman by his standards, he wouldn't breech a lady's room without permission. She pulled herself out of bed and slowly walked to the corner. She reached her hand out to the dark, slowly watching her hand be engulfed. She quickly shoved her hand in. Nothing. She pulled her hand back and eyed the space. Yeah, she was definitely crazy. She turned and walked back to her bed but paused at the edge. Her teeth toyed with her bottom lip. He didn't sleep. Her eyes looked over at the door. He was awake. Was he waiting for her by chance? She made her way over to her door and inhaled a breath. She flung the door open. Nothing. She peeked her head out and looked down each side of the hallway. No one. She stepped out into the hallway and shut her door behind her. While exhaling a breath, she made her way to Alastor's room.
Charlie stood outside his door, gnawing at her bottom lip. Was this a good idea? She raised her hand. Should she be here this late? Her hand balled into a fist. Was she insane? She knocked on his door. Well, she was about to find out.
Alastor open the door, a knowing smile plastered on his face. "Ah, Charlie. I thought you said you needed rest."
Charlie didn't say a word. She couldn't. All she could think about was how his lips felt against hers and how much she wanted to do it again. She reached for his jacket, grabbing the lapels roughly. She pulled him down to her as she pushed herself up on her tippy toes. She kissed him vigorously.
Alastor was caught off guard, for the second time tonight. His eyes widened slightly but that faded quick enough. He smiled against her lips then pulled her against him and back into his room in one swift motion. He waved his hand and his door closed. He felt her pull away before he could return the favor.
"Do you... know?"
Alastor smirked at her. "What exactly would I know, dearest?"
"About my dreams."
"Yes." He answered.
Charlie stared up at him, her hands now placed against his chest. "How?"
Alastor lifted his hand to brush some hair behind her ear. "I intruded in your room late this afternoon. I didn't realize you were asleep until you spoke."
Charlie's face turned bright red. "What- What did I say?"
Alastor leaned down to her ear. "Alastor..." He breathed. "Don't stop..."
Charlie felt like her heart was going to implode in her chest. His breath made her tremble, and her fingers gripped his lapels again. She turned her face slowly to face his, her eyes on his. She flickered from his eyes to his mouth before she closed the space and pressed her lips to his gingerly. She felt him grip her waist and pull her closer against him, if that was possible.
His inner demon's didn't want him to be so gentle. He pushed her back against the door, which caused her to let out a squeaky yelp. He pinned her arms against the wood as his lips crushed against hers. He felt her moan escape into the kiss which made him shudder. He broke the kiss to place kisses along her neck with some slightly aggressive bites.
"Charlie..." He breathed against her skin.
Charlie tilted her head to the side so he could have more access. She swallowed dryly, her senses being consumed entirely by him. "Al..." She panted softly.
Without hesitation, he removed his hands from her wrists and scooped her up, her legs wrapping around his waist in process. He turned and carried her to his bed. He dropped her down onto her back. He smiled devilishly down at her startled face as his hands went to his pants. He quickly unbuckled his belt, slid it off and chucked it to the floor.
Charlie stared up at him. She pushed herself up into a sitting position. Her hands rose up to his pants to unbutton and pull the zipper down. She kept her eyes on his. He was watching her intensely as she gripped his waistband. She pulled his pants down. Her eyes broke contact to look down at his cock springing free from his pants.
Alastor didn't say a word as he watched her.
Charlie looked up at him then back down at his hard cock. He was a lot bigger than she thought. Blushing at thought, her fingers wrapped around him. He let out a soft groan, her eyes shot back up to him. She opened her mouth, her tongue sliding out to lick the pre-cum from the tip of his cock.
Alastor's lips parted as his eyes followed the movements of her tongue swirl around him. He felt his cock throb in her hand before she slowly engulfed him in her mouth. He sucked his bottom lip into his mouth and bit down, causing blood to pool into his mouth and slip down his chin. A blood drop landed on Charlie's cheek. She blinked, eyes looking up at him as she bobbed her head along his shaft. The blood slid down her cheek to mix with her salvia dripping down from her mouth then down to her chin
"Good girl..." Alastor growled darkly.
Charlie moaned softly, the vibration rumbling against his cock. He groaned then grabbed a handful of her hair, moving along with her head. He felt all logic rush away from him as he watched her pretty little mouth take his cock so well. "Charlie..." He breathed.
Charlie pulled her mouth off his cock. She licked her lips as she looked up at him. "You taste so good..." She said, blush radiating across her face.
Alastor leaned down. He grabbed her face in his hand, pulling her face an inch away from his. "Do you want me to fuck you, darling?"
Charlie's lips parted in disbelief. She wasnt expecting the vulgarity of his words. "Yes." She answered.
Alastor released her face and trailed his hands down her torso. He gripped the hem of her night dress and pulled it off over her head. His eyes hungrily darted towards her breasts. He bent down in front of her, his hands running up from her thighs, up her sides and to her breasts. "Lovely..." He captured her nipple in his mouth, letting his hand massage her supple breast.
"A-Alastor..." Charlie whimpered, her head tilting back at the pleasure. His mouth felt phenomenal against her skin. She never wanted him to stop.
He moved to her other breast, taking care to pay each the same amount of attention. He toyed with her nipple between his teeth, careful not to puncture her flawless skin. His hands wandered down to her panties. His clawed finger gently rubbed along the center, feeling the wetness soak through.
"You're so wet..." Alastor breathed once he released her nipple from his mouth. His maroon eyes glanced up at her blush induced face, watching him. He smiled at her as he lowered his head. His eyes flickered to her panties as he continued to rub. "Hm... this won't do at all." He said. He grabbed her panties and slid them off her legs, chucking them onto the floor. His eyes devoured her glistening cunt before looking back at her face. He wondered if she tasted as sweet as her lips. He held her eyes for a moment before dipping his head back down. His long tongue darted out and slowly licked up her slick folds. He groaned at the taste of her. She was absolutely exquisite.
"Alastor..." Charlie panted.
Alastor smirked against her cunt. His tongue swirled around, tasting every bit of her. He plunged his tongue into her, earning a louder moan from the demon belle. He slipped a finger then two inside her, watching her arousal slide down his fingers. He rather enjoyed making her squirm. The princess of Hell, letting him ravage her any way he pleased. It made his cock twitch with anticipation. He pulled his mouth and hand away from her to look at her flustered face. He raised his hand and slowly licked his fingers clean. "Delicious." He dropped his hand then licked his lips. He crawled over top of her. His mouth caught hers easily, mixing their salvia and her cum into the kiss. He gripped his cock and rubbed the tip along her opening, humming in approval at how wet she was. He broke the kiss to gaze into her eyes. "Beg for me, darling..."
For a second, Charlie could of sworn he must of had the same dream as her. Or maybe she just knew him well enough to know what he'd be like? It must of been coincidence. But then he smirked down at her, that evil all knowing smile, like he was reading her thoughts.
"Al-"
"Beg for me, Charlotte."
Charlie's lips parted. "Please fuck me." She said, the heat from his words catching her on fire. There was no way they shared the same dream, right?
Alastor raised an eyebrow at her then stopped teasing her hole. "My my... It seems to me that you're-"
"Alastor..." Charlie whimpered at the loss of contact. "Please make me yours." She begged, her hands came up to grip his upper arms. Her eyes pleading.
"Very good, darling..." Alastor slid himself inside her. He watched her gasp at his length but he kept going. He bottomed out then paused to drink in her expression and the feel of her tightly against him. "You take me so well..." He smirked then gently kissed her lips, letting her slowly come back from whatever high he sent her to. He pulled himself back and she whimpered. He pushed back in a little rougher and she moaned loudly. He felt the breath leave his lungs as the pleasure devoured him whole. He lost all sensibility.
"Oh Charlie..." He groaned as he began to fuck her against the bed. "Ngk... f-fuck..."
Charlie watched his mask fall from his face. His smile dropped to reveal a face of pure ecstasy. She bit her bottom lip a little too hard then winced. Her hand went to her mouth and she looked at the blood on her fingers.
All movement stopped.
Her eyes shot up to Alastor who was staring down at her. She couldn't read his expression.
Alastor reached down to her. He slipped his hand into her hair, gripping a bunch before pulling her up aggressively to his mouth. He savagely licked her bleeding lip, shuddering at the metallic taste. He sucked her lip into his mouth then let out a guttural growl. He didn't warn her, he just began to do what he pleased. His thrusts got more rough, making Charlie moan louder than intended.
"A-Al!" Charlie moaned into his mouth, her eyes rolling into the back of her head.
Alastor pulled his mouth away from hers. "Mine." He breathed, his maroon eyes lost to the lust.
"Yours." Charlie agreed, her breathing hitched as she watched him lose his battle for control. Her eyes traced the crimson along his lips then locked eyes with him. She tilted her head to the side slightly to expose her neck.
He leaned down quickly and sunk his teeth into the pale flesh of her shoulder. Charlie gasped as her hands came up to grip his back, her nails digging into his jacket, causing him to groan. Blood poured into his mouth and he drank it all up like it was his last meal. She couldn't focus on anything but him. The whole room ceased to exist, all she could hear was his and her ragged breathing. He was draining her like some kind of vampire. Her eyelids became heavy as her grip slightly loosened.
As if he sensed it, Alastor pulled away from her shoulder. His eyes locked with hers, and all she could see was her blood dripping from his mouth and his bright red eyes burning into her soul. He grabbed her face with his hand and kissed her passionately.
"Al.." she whimpered into the kiss. "I'm going to-"
Before she could finish her sentence, she felt her body clench around his cock then gave into her sweet release. She moaned quite loudly, no doubt someone would of heard her. She gripped Alastor tightly, feeling her nails piercing his suit and the skin underneath. Alastor trembled then pulled his lips away from her mouth. He groaned as he came inside her. He pushed a couple lazy thrusts inside her, his head tilted back as he rode his orgasm. He slowed then stopped. His eyes looked down at her, his smile slowly spreading back across his face.
"Mine." He breathed, mouth stained in her blood.
Charlie stared up at him. Her hair flayed around her naked body, blood dribbling down her shoulder onto her bed sheets. "Yours."

Charlie groaned in annoyance as the sunlight hit her face. She turned in her bed and smushed her face into the pillow. She felt like she had been hit by a hundred Helluva Mail trucks. She pushed herself up, the sheet curled around her in such a way it highlighted her curves. Her hand rose to rub her eye. The alarm didn't go off so it must still be early. Her eyes scanned her room, nothing out of the normal. She glanced at her clock. Oh yeah, plenty of time before the day starts. She stretched her arms above her head and winced at a sharp pain on her shoulder. She snapped her head to the direction and paused.
Teeth marks.
Her eyes traced the wound on her shoulder. Everything flooded back all at once. Her hand went over her mouth as her eyes widened. Did she... with... no way. She looked over beside her to see an empty bed. Her eyes quickly rescanned the room. No one; the room was completely empty other than her. She looked back at the wound on her shoulder and gently traced it. She winced slightly. It was still tender. Her face flushed red at the memory. Was last night just a fluke? Did he actually want her? She brought her fingers to her lips then scowled at herself. He got her craving him, already. Unbelievable. Her eyes shot to the other side of the bed. Maybe he didn't intend for it to happen. She was magically in her bed instead of his after all. She lifted her knees to her chest and hugged her legs, sighing heavily as she laid her forehead on her knees. She pushed the thought away. No, she couldnt dwell on it. They wouldn't make this awkward. If he didn't want to talk about it, then they wouldn't. It was fun and a good way to take the edge off. But if he did want to talk about it... oh boy, this may be harder than she thought. She toyed with her bottom lip then winced again. She sighed, a small smile spreading across her face at another memory. No, stop. Her smile dropped. Right, time to get ready. She turned to the bathroom to shower and get ready for the day.
"Good morning!" Charlie chirped as she entered the dining room.
"No." Husker groaned, his hand immediately going to his head. He turned around in his chair to look at her, she was a foot away from him. "Can we have inside voices this morning?" He said. "Please." He added.
Charlie grimaced. "Sorry." She made her way around the table to sit down. She hummed softly to herself as she grabbed some toast and buttered it. "So how was everyone's night?" She asked casually as she stacked some bacon on her plate.
Angel shrugged. "Cherri, Husker and me went out to the clubs last night." He said. "Was... a lot of fun." He glanced over at Husker then back towards Charlie. "How about you?" He took a bite of bacon.
Charlie glanced around the table. She didn't see Alastor. Her eyes looked back towards Angel. "Very good, thank you. I got some much needed sleep and I feel absolutely excellent today." She smiled. "I hope everyone is ready for a super duper day."
Angel pursed his lips. Husker stared at her blankly. Niffty giggled evilly to herself. Charlie grimaced again.
Today may be a challenge.
Charlie shut the door to the office then locked it. She leaned her back against it, eyes looking up at the ceiling. She sighed heavily to herself. The morning could of went better. Everyone didn't seem into it today, it must of just been a late night for them. She pushed off the door and made her way to the desk where she proceeded to plop down in her chair. But at the last moment, the chair moved ever so slightly away which caused her to fall right on her ass, right on the hard wooden floor.
"Motherfu-"
Charlie winced as she rubbed her ass. She pushed herself up to stand then leaned her hands flat on the table, hunching over it. A droplet of blood landed on the wood. She eyed it curiously then looked over at her shoulder. Her blazer was red but not that red. She watched the dark red spot spread wider on her shoulder and drip off the fabric and onto the table. The wound must of torn open when she fell.
"Perfect." She huffed then pulled the chair back over to her.
She sat down and proceeded to take off her jacket. She eyed the completely red soaked shoulder of her white shirt. She unbuttoned the shirt then pulled it off as well. She stared at the blood slipping down her shoulder and into the fabric of her black bra. She bunched the white shirt up in her hands and pushed it against her shoulder. The bleeding had to stop before she was able to assess the damage.
The door unlocked. Her eyes shot towards the door just as Alastor opened it.
"Darling, why is the-"
Alastor froze. His eyes immediately catching her current state. His ear twitched. He swiftly stepped inside and shut the door promptly behind him. He locked the door.
Charlie kept her eyes trained on him. Her lips parted slightly. "I, uh.. I fell and I reopened the wound." She explained as she watched him slowly circle the desk and stop in front of her. She bent her head back to look up at him.
Alastor stared down at her then the shirt slowly absorbing the blood from her shoulder. He bent down into a crouch so he was eye level with her.
"Let me." He reached out and took the shirt from her. She dropped her hand as he moved the shirt off the wound. He scanned it for a moment before looking over at her. "Forgive me. I should of tended to this after."
Charlie stared at him, absolutely baffled. "I-It's fine. It'll stop bleeding in a second." She managed to say.
He smiled gently at her. "Indeed it will." He turned his attention back to the bleeding wound. He placed his hand over it. He mumbled a couple things before a flash of green illuminated under his hand. He removed his hand once the light faded away. The wound was gone.
Charlie eyed it then looked at him. "Thank you."
Alastor glanced at her then back at her bare shoulder. The wound was healed but there was still blood slowly cascading down her chest. He leaned down and slowly ran his tongue up her chest, collecting the blood into his mouth.
She gasped softly then blush covered her face. She wasn't expecting that but she should of. She heard the stories about Alastor, and well, last night was another good example.
Alastor hummed in approval before moving his lips closer to hers. "Absolutely sinful, my darling."
"Alastor..." Charlie breathed then cleared her throat. "Uh, can we... can we talk?"
Alastor leaned back a bit and tilted his head to the side. "Of course."
Charlie opened her mouth to speak but no words came out. She gapped at him then narrowed her eyes in confusion. "I.. uh..."
He smiled at her. "Is it, by chance, about last night?" He asked. His clawed finger coming up to gently trace down her neck to her shoulder.
Charlie blushed as she stared at him. She felt her breathing hitch and her heart ache for him. And that wasn't the only thing aching. "Y-yes."
Maroon eyes shot back to her. He leaned in until his lips were barely touching hers. "I hope you know I meant every word I spoke." He said then his eyes dropped to her lips.
He grabbed her face in his hand which caused her to gasp. His smiled widened. "Mine." He said then heard her whimper. He slowly pressed his lips against hers, letting himself savor her. He parted their lips, a heavy pant escaping her lips.
"Don't worry, dearest. You'll learn."
Alastor pulled away, releasing her face. He stood up and walked around their desk to his side. He sat down in his chair and began to flip through paperwork on the table.
Charlie's eyes followed him and watched as he sat down beside her. He flustered her then left her to stew in it. She let out a breath then turned a bit away from him to compose herself. She glanced down at her soiled shirt and blazer.
"Hey, Al-" She turned to look at him and paused to see a new shirt and blazer folded neatly on her desk. Her eyes glanced over to him scribbling something on some papers. She could see the grin on his face.
"Thank you." She smiled then put the shirt and blazer on.

"I can't stand it anymore." Angel sighed into his hand. He sat at the bar with Husker, his hand gripping his drink. "All she ever does is talk about him." He whined.
Husker smirked at him then took a sip of his drink. "I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure that's called love."
Angel looked up to meet Husker's eyes. "How? She doesn't even know him that well!" He looked baffled.
Husker chuckled. "Sometimes it doesn't take much." He turned to make Angel another drink, noticing his was almost out. He tried to suppress a smile but he couldn't hide it. He couldn't help but hold a soft spot for the spider demon.
Angel watched him turn around then leaned his chin against his hand. His eyes scanned Husker. "What would be enough, ya think?" He asked.
Husker turned back to face him, setting the drink in front of Angel. He locked eyes with him then smiled.
Angel parted his lips slightly then glanced down at his drink. A soft pink blush on his cheeks. "Thanks for the drink." He said, looking back up at Husker.
"Hey guys!"
Angel turned to look at Charlie. "Heya blondie."
"Everyone having a good night so far?" Charlie asked, sitting down beside Angel.
Husker and Angel both gave eachother a look then looked back over at Charlie.
"Uh, yeah. It's fine. Whatever." Husker shrugged.
Angel pursed his lips at Charlie. "Yup."
Charlie wasn't oblivious per say but she couldnt feel the tension between the two demon's. "Great!" She smiled then looked at Husker. "Can I get a.." she tapped her finger on her lips. "Shot? Of whatever." Her smile widened.
Husker eyed her then put a shot glass in front of her. He poured amber liquid into the glass then slowly slid it to her, never breaking eye contact.
Charlie broke eye contact to look down at the glass. She looked up at Husker then over to Angel then back down at the glass. "Bottoms up, aha..." She said awkwardly before picking it up and downing the whole thing. She set the glass down on the counter and coughed. "Oh my... that's good. Mhm." Her voice sounded rough and her eyes were squinting.
"Husk!" Angel reached his arm over and smacked Husker on the arm. Husker just chuckled.
"What! She asked for a shot of whatever!" He looked at Charlie. "You took that like a champ though, princess. Another?"
Charlie pondered for a moment. "Yeah, why not." She sighed. "What is that anyway?"
Husker poured her another shot. "It's whiskey." He poured another two, sliding one over to Angel and picking the other one up himself. "It's the stuff I make for Alastor." Him and Angel both shot theirs back.
Charlie picked the glass up and eyed the liquid. She tossed it back and held it better this time around. "Sheesh, that burns." She set the glass down on the counter.
Husker nodded. "It becomes the best part after a while." He noted, pouring another.
"If you make that for Al, won't he be mad your drinking it?" Charlie questioned.
Husker shrugged. "I make extra." He threw the shot back. Also, he didn't give a fuck.
Charlie nodded then stood up. "Well, I'm going to bed. Goodnight guys." She waved at them before departing towards the stairs.
"Night." They said in unison then looked at each other once Charlie was out of sight. They both smiled.
Charlie pushed her door open and flung it closed behind her. She sighed heavily. It had been a long day. People have started coming to the hotel to inquire about it once hearing about redemption. They may be more interested now but they're still hesitant on continuing with it. She pulled her blazer off, tossing it on the back of a chair. She began to unbutton her shirt then she paused after two buttons. She bit her bottom lip. Should she visit Alastor? Her eyes shot to her door. As if compelled, she walked over to the door. Her hand grasped the door knob; twisting it, she opened the door. Her eyes widened slightly at the radio demon standing in front of her.
Alastor's hand was raised as if he was about to knock. His eyes locked on hers then wandered down to her open blouse. His eyes snapped back to hers then he lowered his hand back to his side. "Were you going somewhere?" He asked, his hands going behind his back.
"No, I-" Charlie's face flushed. "Yes. I was... going to see you."
Alastor smirked down at her. "Oh were you now?" He stepped towards her, causing her to step back. He entered the room and shut the door behind him. His eyes never left hers.
"Yes." Charlie said as she watched him. He must of had the same thought since he was standing in her room. "Seems you were thinking the same about me?"
"Indeed I was..." Alastor closed the distance between them. He gripped her chin in his hand and lifted her head to look up at him. "I was thinking about earlier..."
Charlie swallowed.
"I'm afraid it doesn't settle too well with me having you unmarked, dearest."
Charlie's lips parted as she stared up at him. It was at that moment she realized, he was going to completely devour her. Heart and soul.
Alastor leaned down to her mouth, his lips brushing softly against hers. "If that's all right with you."
That was unexpected. "A-Are you asking permission to... mark me?"
Alastor smiled. "What kind of gentleman would I be if I didn't ask a lady's permission first?"
Always the proper gentleman. Asking her permission before he marked her entire body, showing she belonged to one person and one person only. Why did that turn her on?
"Yes." Charlie said softly, her eyes locked with his.
Alastor hummed in approval then captured her lips with his. His tongue slid in-between her lips to dance around with hers. He pulled her closer against him, hearing a soft moan escape into the kiss. His fingers found their way to her blouse and he continued to unbutton. He slid the shirt off her shoulders, dropping it to the ground behind her. His hand snaked up into her hair. He broke the kiss, trailing little kisses along her jawline down to her neck. He heard her breathing hitch and smiled against her neck.
"Al..." Charlie panted, feeling him grip her hair to hold her in place.
"Apologies, in advance, my darling." Alastor whispered against her neck.
Charlie furrowed her eyebrows at the apology then felt his teeth sink into the dip between her neck and shoulder. She gasped, her hands quickly running up to grip the back of his suit. Despite the pain and her flinching, he held her extremely still.
Alastor groaned into her flesh. The blood trickled down from between his mouth and her skin. It slipped down her pale skin, causing a contrast that drove Alastor mad. Red suited her extraordinarily. He hadn't punctured too far this time. He made sure to keep it manageable, to avoid the incident earlier. He slowly pulled his teeth from the fresh wound, being quick to lap up the delicious red liquid. "Absolutely divine..." He murmured.
Charlie blushed a deep red. Now that the pain had subsided, she reveled in his tongue caressing her shoulder and her wound. Luckily she could withstand this, she doubted a lot of people would be too keen on someone biting into their flesh and drinking their blood like wine.
"A-Alastor..." Charlie whimpered at the feel of his mouth kissing and licking her wound.
Alastor lifted his head and pressed his lips against hers. His grip loosening and wrapping his arms gently around her. The kiss was slow, like he wanted her to know how appreciative he was.
Charlie could of cried at how tender the moment was. She never took Alastor for having any soft spot of any kind, but the way he held her... and kissed her like it was a gift from the Heaven's. She melted into his arms, letting herself become absorbed into this man. Her heart exploded with so much emotion that she had forgotten what had just happened.
He pulled away to look into her eyes. Then she remembered. Her eyes stared into his maroon eyes. His lips curved into a devilish grin, her blood soaking his face below the nose. He ran his tongue out along his bloody bottom lip as he watched her, looking insanely famished.
Charlie was in trouble.

Charlie kept her eyes locked on Alastor's. She watched a drop of blood slip off his chin and land on the floor. Everything about him seemed colder. She felt the air suck out of the room, darkness consuming both of them. She held her breath, seeing his eyes turn into radio dials. Static echoed throughout the room.
She took a step back from him. "Alastor."
Alastor just kept his gaze locked on her, like a predator who had caught his prey. His shadow emerged from behind him, curling up the wall and onto the ceiling. It loomed over her.
Charlie followed its gaze to right above her head.
Crack.
Crack Crack.
Her eyes shot back to Alastor. The man was already tall, it seemed unnecessary for him to be able to stretch taller. Her eyes followed his up until he nearly touched the high ceiling, his antlers elongated and stratching the ceiling.
"Alastor!" Charlie shouted, she tried to keep her voice from quaking.
Alastor turned his head to the side, like he was distracted by something. Charlie took this opportunity to dash towards him. She twirled passed him and into the hallway. She caught herself against the wall and pushed off it, running down the hallway. All she could hear was laughter. She turned her head to look back, fear staining her eyes as she watched him lunging towards her. His long arm reached-
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
Charlie lunged out of her bed. She stood in the middle of her room, eyes wide and heart racing. Her hands were out-stretched as her eyes frantically scanned the room. No one. She slowly lowered her hands as she settled her breathing. What. The. Actual. Fuck. Her hand rose to brush her hair back, eyes focused on the floor. This was going to have to be a conversation. She couldn't just ignore that dream. It was time to come clean and tell him.
Charlie swallowed. Oh boy.
Charlie hadn't seen Alastor all morning. Husker had told her he went to cannibal town to visit Rosie, and do some shopping. It didn't surprise her. He usually kept the hotel pretty stocked with food.
She walked down the hallway, passing the kitchen to head to the lobby. A hand reached out from an adjoining hallway, tugging Charlie in with a yelp.
Alastor pinned her back against the wall with his body, his hand coming up to cover her mouth. He looked extremely entertained with the scenario. "Why, hello darling..." He whispered.
Charlie eyed him as he removed his hand from her mouth. "What are you doing? Are we... sneaking around?"
"It's quite fun, isn't it?" Alastor smirked.
Charlie rolled her eyes. "Listen, Al, I-"
Alastor covered her mouth once he heard Angel storming down the hallway. He walked right passed the little darkened hallway they were in.
"Angel!" Husker shouted, passing them as well.
"No, Husk. I can't-" Angel started.
A scuffle, then a thud against the wall.
"No, you listen to me, dammit!" Husker shouted.
Charlie's eyes were wide as she stared into Alastor's eyes. Though, she was sure she looked more shocked than he did. He looked increasingly more annoyed as scene unfolded.
"You have to stop." Husker said, softer this time. "You're worth more than this. I care about you too much to see you suffer."
A pause.
"You... you care about me?" Angel asked.
Husker laughed. "Yes." A pause. "I... like you."
Another pause.
Charlie blinked at the silence, then she watched Alastor's face scrunch in disgust.
"Ah- Husk... ah." Angel moaned. Heavy breathing lingering in the silence.
Alastor had hoped they'd leave but apparently not. He lifted his hand and snapped his fingers.
They appeared in their office.
Alastor released her then smiled down at her. "Well, aside from the unpleasant... incident, that just occurred." He waved it off. "I was wondering if you'd like to have dinner with me this evening?"
Charlie paused at the sudden proposal for a date. It may be the perfect time to talk to him about the dream she had. She was biting her lip subconsciously. She noticed him staring at her action. "Yes, that sounds lovely."
"Mhm..." Alastor agreed, his eyes still on her lips.
Charlie went to speak but Alastor leaned in quicker than she could utter any words. His mouth caught hers, pulling her against him as he tenderly kissed her. She felt all her breath leave her body. Her hands came up to grip his arms, unable to trust herself with standing on her own. Her eyes fluttered closed, the kiss deepening. His hand slid into her blond hair, earning a little moan to escape her lips. She felt his body shudder then his lips curved into a smile against her mouth.
"How easily you make me come undone..." Alastor whispered against her lips. His hand coming up to cup the side of her face.
Charlie's eyes looked into his, her lips parting. She would assume this was a dream if his touch didn't feel so real. Or that intoxicating scent that drove her senses mad. Everything about him threatened to swallow her whole, and she feared that she'd let it.
Alastor pulled away from her. His smile was so wide that it almost engulfed his face. "As much as I'd love to be distracted by you right now dearest, I believe I should let you go enjoy the rest of your afternoon."
Charlie tilted her head a bit, eye squinting in confusion. "I'm not- what? I'm not following."
"I'm handling the rest of the day." Alastor stated then walked towards the desk. He rounded it and sat down in his chair. His eyes looked at her. "You've handle the activities and such this morning. I can handle anything from now until office hours are over."
Charlie raised her eyebrows. "Oh.. Al. I don't know-"
"Charlie."
Charlie stopped speaking.
"Are you going to make me say it?"
Charlie stared at him, unsure what he meant.
Alastor pursed his lips for a while before he let out a defeated sigh. "Please take the afternoon to enjoy yourself. I... care about you." His eyebrows furrowed as he stared at her. His smile ever present, but it seemed softer just then. For a minute.
"Al..."
Alastor waved his hand in the air. "Yes, well... no thanks necessary, darling." He looked down at the papers on the desk. "I'll be here if you need me."
Charlie smiled at him. The big scary radio demon, nervous as all sin because of her. "Well, thank you anyway." She said. She watched his smile widen a bit as he stared down at his papers. She turned and walked out of the office.
Charlie enjoyed the rest of her afternoon. Just as requested. She wouldn't deny herself the luxurious bath she treated herself to or the nap she had after. She could of sworn her bed was extra fluffy today.
She awoke later on and sat up, stretching her arms high above her head as her head turned to her window. Dusk. Oh Hell, was she late? Her eyes shot to the clock. She let out a sigh of relief. She went to pull the covers off when she spotted the clothing box placed on her bed. She eyed it curiously. She reached over and grabbed the box, pulling it over to her. She slowly pulled the red ribbon off, a smile beginning to form on her face. She lifted the box cover. Her eyes began to almost twinkle, as she bit her bottom lip. It was a beautiful copy of a 1920's flapper dress. Mostly coated in a dazzling red fringe of sequins. The color reminded her of a certain radio demon. She gapped at the sparkly dress in front of her. She checked the size; it was perfect. She'd have to ask him how he knew that. Without another thought, she took it to the bathroom to get ready.
Charlie couldn't help but shimmey out of the bathroom. The way the dress flowed made her want to dance. Which, she assumed was the purpose. She smiled at the thought of dancing with Alastor. She fixed herself in the mirror quickly before she left her room.
Before she could knock, his door swug opened. She peered inside to see no one. She walked inside without hesitation, which was either stupid or brave. It was like walking into the 1930's. She glanced around at the antlers adorning his walls with many bookcases and seating. And of course his collection of radios. His bed shoved in the corner, probably just for show and recently added activities. But the back wall wasn't a wall at all. It was a picturesque scene of the bayou, where Alastor lived when he was alive. It was evening; the blues and purples meddling together with the flickering of fire flies. A few bald cypress trees spotting the area. A table and two chairs in the middle with a stoney path, connecting to the wooden floor of the actual room.
Charlie cautiously stepped into the conjured image. She felt the warmth first. A beautiful summer evening with a slight breeze, like a breath of fresh air. She walked along the path towards the table, her eyes absorbing everything and anything. She had never been to the world of the living, but if it was anything like this... she could understand why it was considered breathtaking up there.
"Darling."
Charlie turned around to see Alastor standing behind her. He wore his usual attire, but his jacket was missing. She smiled at him. "Alastor... this is beautiful." She said softly.
Alastor's eyes shamelessly scanned her in the dress. Maroon eyes settled on hers. He went to speak but nothing came out. He was speechless.
Amusement crossed Charlie's face. "Have I left you speechless?"
His ears flicked back quickly before settling back up right. He cleared his throat. "Not at all. I was just taking a moment to drink in your beauty, my dear." He smiled at her.
Charlie eyed him with skepticism as he walked over. He took her hand in his, raising it above them as he spun her around. She giggled as she spun, letting the dress flowed in the momentum.
He stopped her perfectly in front of him then took her in his arms and leaned down, his mouth hovering over her neck. She wrapped her arms around him in response, a gentle smile on her face.
Alastor tensed suddenly. His ears flattened as he pulled away from her. He didn't look pleased at all even though his smile was still sharp. "It seems we have company, dear." His voice lacked it's usual pep.
Charlie eyed him curiously. "Company?"
With a snap of his fingers, they appeared in the parlor. Alastor had his jacket back on and Charlie was in her regular attire.
"Awe." Charlie sighed. She really liked that dress.
Alastor managed to smirk at her despite his now sour mood. "Patience." He said then opened the double doors. He stepped out, hands behind his back.
Charlie followed him out and immediately froze.
"Vaggie?"

Vaggie turned to look at Charlie. A large smile spreading across her face. She looked exactly the same as when she left, except for the halo now hovering above her head. "Charlie." She rushed over and embraced her.
Charlie paused. Her eyes glanced to Alastor, who wasn't looking at her at all. She hugged Vaggie back then pulled away. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm your liason, remember?" Vaggie said, her hand going to her hip. "It took a little while to figure out since they're disorganized as all sin up there."
Charlie just stared at her. "I... what?"
Vaggie raised an eyebrow as she watched Charlie's confusion spread. "I'm here for the evening to help connect Heaven and Hell together to accomplish your-" She paused then smiled. "Our goals. You won, Charlie. Heaven's on your side."
Charlie couldn't believe what she was hearing. "R-Really?"
"Really." Vaggie smiled. "I won't lie and say it'll be easy, because Heave-"
Charlie cut her off by pulling her into a tight hug. Alastor's ear twitched.
"Oh Vaggie! This is wonderful news!" Charlie pulled away, a huge smile across her face. "Oh! Before I forget, how's Pentious?"
"He's fine. I have a letter for Cherri. He says hello and he misses everyone." Vaggie explained.
Angel sat at the bar with Husker, which seemed to be a regular thing for them now. "Oh boy, I'll DEFINITELY hear about this."
Charlie shot Angel and Husker a look. She turned her face back to Vaggie before she could let herself process what she heard in the hallway between the two male demons earlier. "Okay, well, let's get to work!" She looked at Alastor. "Right, Al?"
Alastor smiled his usual smile. "Of course." He looked at Vaggie who was eyeing him. Seems some things never change. He wondered what her face would look like knowing he had been intimate with the princess, her ex lover. His grin widened a bit more at the thought.
"Wonderful!" Charlie clasped her hands together then hooked both their arms with hers. She walked them into the parlor.
Once the business discussion had ended, the two women began to talk about the things that happened throughout the month. Charlie listened with a sparkling wonder as she listened to Vaggie describe how life in Heaven was.
Alastor had his leg over his other, his hands placed on his lap. He watched Charlie's expression and something in his chest twisted. His eyes looked at Vaggie, eyes narrowing. As much as he knew Charlie adored listening to the frivous stories about Heaven, he knew it pained her deep down that she'd never be able to experience that.
"So what have you been up to? Has the hotel been busy?" Vaggie asked, then lifted her tea up to drink.
"Not overly, but we've gotten a couple new patrons!" Charlie beamed.
"Is your dad still not back?"
Charlie shrugged. "Not yet, but I expect him back soon." She cooed. He was the king of Hell, he couldn't be at the hotel 24/7.
Vaggie reached over and placed a hand on Charlie's thigh. "I'm sure he will." She smiled.
Charlie's eyes looked down at Vaggie's hand on her thigh then over at Alastor. If he was annoyed, he didn't look it. "Uh, Vaggie-" She looked at her.
"Can we talk?" Vaggie interrupted. Her eyes glanced at Alastor then back at Charlie. "Alone?"
Alastor stood up abruptly. "I'll take my leave then. Pleasure to see you again, my dear." He nodded at Vaggie then eyed Charlie before leaving the room.
Charlie pursed her lips. Well, that was something that happened. That look could of meant anything.
"Charlie..."
Charlie focused on Vaggie in front of her. "Yes?"
"I... want us to get back together." Vaggie said, her hands reaching over to grip Charlie's. "I want to try. I love you, and I want to fight for this." Her eyebrows furrowed.
Charlie's parted her lips at the outburst. "Vaggie..."
"Please say you want me too and I'm not too late." Vaggie's hand went up to caress Charlie's cheek.
Charlie froze. She was faced with a crossroad that she, in all eternity, would of never thought she would see. She had to choose between her love for Vaggie or her growing feelings for Alastor.
"I-"
Vaggie put her fingers to Charlie's lips. "Please take the evening to think about it, okay?" She asked.
Charlie pulled Vaggie's fingers gently off her lips with a shake of her head. "No, Vaggie, I can't." Her eyes looked at her, bunching her hands up in hers. She scooted a little closer to her. "One of the things I love most about myself is my ability to be honest, even when it hurts." She started. "We... can't be together."
Vaggie's eyes saddened. "Can I know why?" She asked very softly.
"I... fell for someone." Charlie admitted, even surprising herself. "I'll always love you Vaggie, and you'll always have a place inside my heart." She placed her hand over her heart. "But, I'll regret it for the rest of my eternity if I don't at least see where it goes with him."
"Him?" Vaggie said. "Do I... know him?"
Charlie inhaled a breath. "Yes." She watched Vaggie's face process the information.
"Please tell me it's your ex, Charlie."
Charlie eyed her. "Definitely not."
"Charlie!"
Charlie almost jumped when Vaggie shouted. Her eyes wide as she stared at her.
Vaggie gripped her hands tighter, her eyes concerned and fearful. "You can't trust him." She said. "Alastor isn't capable of love, Charlie. He's using you."
Charlie's face softened as she listened.
"He will never be able to love you the way you deserve."
Charlie felt like a knife jabbed right into her heart. She knew this. She knew all of this but still she continued. Alastor may be interested in her or the pleasures her body satisfies in him but love? Even she knew it wasn't possible.
"I know." Charlie whispered.
Vaggie froze. "Then... why?"
Charlie's eyes looked down. "Because I can love him the way he deserves." Her eyes looked up at Vaggie. "Everyone deserves another chance, Vaggie."
Vaggie's face softened. Her hands came up to cup Charlie's face. "You always seem to surprise me, even though this is something I should already expect. You're such a beautiful soul, Charlie." Her hands dropped from her face. "I have faith in you. If anyone can change anyone's heart for the better, it's you."
Charlie smiled. "Thank you." She leaned in and the two embraced.
Alastor paced in his room. His hands clenched together behind his back. His maroon eyes narrowed and his smile strained. Unbelievable. After a month with no word, Vaggie thinks she can waltz back in here and pick back up like she never left. He scoffed to himself and plopped down in a chair. He crossed his leg over his other and rested his hand over his mouth as he thought. It was ridiculous to think she would go back to her, he had marked her after all. Charlie wasn't up for grabs anymore, he had seen to that. He growled at himself and lifted himself from his chair, resuming pacing.
Click.
Alastor's ear perked up then he turned to look at his bedroom door. He watched the door open and Charlie step inside.
"Hey..." Charlie said softly, her eyes on his as she shut the door behind her.
Alastor looked away from her. "I assume Vaggie is staying for dinner?" He asked.
Charlie could tell right away that he was throwing a tantrum. "Yes, she's leaving shortly after. But she's having it with the others." She stated, walking over to him. "Al, we need to talk."
His eyes shot to her eyes, almost panicked. It disappeared quickly over his facade. "Whatever about, my darling?" He remained calm even though he was fighting a sea of emotions deep within himself.
"I told Vaggie we're together." Charlie started, then saw him visibly relax.
"Together?" Alastor asked, an amused smile on his face.
Charlie paused, blush across her face. "Is that not... I assumed..." she trailed off.
Alastor chuckled then pulled her against him. His hand gently gripping her face to make her look up at him. "You assumed correct, dearest." He leaned down and kissed her ever so lightly.
Charlie forgot how to breathe. How he kept making her breath leave her body was beyond her. Her brain scrambled but she quickly regained her composure. "I.. um... uh, there's more..." She breathed against his lips.
"Oh?" Alastor didn't move.
"I... had a dream last night."
Alastor smirked. "Continue."
"Well, more of a nightmare." Charlie continued. "About you."
Alastor flinched a bit before pulling away slightly to look at her face. His eyes concerned.
Charlie stared at him for a moment too long. She noticed he was getting more concerned by the minute. "Is it... hard to control yourself? When you..." She gestured to her shoulder, where his mark was.
Maroon eyes glanced at her shoulder then back to her eyes. "Sometimes." He answered, remembering the first time they were intimate. He was close to losing control and devouring her completely. "Was your nightmare about me losing control?" He asked, even though he knew it most definitely was.
"Yes."
Alastor lifted his hands to cup her face. His eyes changed from concern to solemn within a matter of seconds. "You have my promise that I will never let it get that far." His eyes flickered from her left to right eye.
"How are you so sure?" Charlie asked, her hands coming up to gently rest on his wrists. Eyes locked on his.
"It's a matter of hunger, my dear." Alastor pulled his hands away from her face. "It's really quite simple." He put his hands behind his back. "I can't lose control if I'm already satiated."
Charlie watched him step back from her. "I'm sorry for the interruption on our dinner."
Alastor looked at her. He was silent for a minute before he spoke. "I can't let you go to bed hungry. Come now." His hand came out to her.
She smiled and took his hand. He led them back into the conjured version of the bayou to finish their dinner.

After a lovely dinner with the princess, Alastor had paced all throughout the night and into the morning.
Something felt off. Alastor was in a heated frenzy with his instincts and his newfound emotions. The reality of why Vaggie really came here flooded his mind but that didn't seem to be solid.
Something was wrong.
Something was coming.
He growled to himself; picking up his coffee mug off the table and whipped it at the wall. It shattered into pieces, scattering all over the floor and across the table top. He eyed it before he settled his stance. He fixed his bow tie then slicked the runaway strands of hair back in place. With a snap of his fingers, the cup reappeared on the table in pristine condition.
Well, this wouldn't do at all. His mood was off. It was time to satisfy a craving.
He left his room, making his way downstairs. Alastor noticed Charlie first. It was hard to miss her. The lobby had a few new hesitant patrons looking around with her bumbling around them like a bee. He couldn't help the tug at the corner of his mouth. So much passion. He made his way down the stairs to join her in the lobby. "Charlie, my dear."
Charlie turned to look at Alastor. Her smile wide across her face. "Good morning, Al!" She said then excused herself from the group to walk over to him. "Look! We got some people looking into the hotel." She grasped her hands together, eyes twinkling in hope.
Maroon eyes shot to the group then back to Charlie. "Very lovely." He said. "I'm afraid I have a matter to attend to currently. Not to worry, I'll be back this afternoon." He smiled.
"Oh, yes. Of course." Charlie kept smiling at him. She was in a very good mood today. She watched him leave out the front door and turned back to the group. She didn't bother thinking about what business he had. Could it be what they discussed last night? She shook the thought away. Nope, not thinking about that. Time to get to work.
"You're welcome back anytime!" Charlie waved at the group leaving. She watched the door close and let out a sigh.
They seemed interested but who could really tell. It was hard to change, especially if you had been stuck in your ways for so long. Charlie thought of Alastor. In her mind, redemption was possible for everyone. Even Alastor. Was she strong enough to help him? Was he too far gone?
The front door opened.
Charlie broke her thoughts to look towards the front door. She looked puzzled.
"Lute?"
Lute wandered in, her eyes glancing around in disgust at the look of the hotel. Her eyes landed on Charlie in front of her. "Oh good, I didn't have to go looking for you."
Charlie crossed her arms across her chest. "What do you want? Vaggie was here yesterday so this must be out of your own agenda."
Lute smiled at Charlie. "You know, you're a lot smarter than you look, princess." She eyed Charlie then looked around the empty lobby. "Where is everyone?"
Charlie then realized she was completely alone with Lute. Angel and Husker had gone out with Cherri, Niffty was... somewhere and Alastor was still out. Her eyes looked at Lute. "Around, I'm sure." She said. "Why the social call?"
"I've been doing some thinking." Lute started. She began to slowly walk around Charlie, her hands behind her back. "Ever since that snake demon got redeemed, everyone in Heaven is persuaded that every sinner can be changed." She stopped in front of Charlie, eyes on hers. "But I don't believe that."
Charlie narrowed her eyes at Lute. "How can you be so blind to what's in front of you?" She asked. "It's worth it to try or have you forgotten what forgiveness is?"
Smack!
Charlie's eyes widened in shock as her hand went up to her nose. She felt the blood trickle onto her fingers before she looked back over at Lute.
"Don't talk to me about forgiveness, Hellborn." Lute hissed, lowering her hand. She reached out and grabbed Charlie by the arms.
"What are you doing? Let me go!" Charlie stated, struggling against the angel's grasp.
Lute eyed her, the hatred spilling out into words. "I'm here to finish what Adam started."
Charlie watched as Lute release one of her arms, reaching down to her belt to grip the handle of her angelic knife. Charlie pulled away as much as she could, leaving a gap between them. "No, stop!" She closed her eyes to brace for the inevitable impact.
Everything went quiet. All she could hear was her heart throbbing in her chest. She couldn't feel anything, and especially not a knife in her abdomen. Her eyes slowly opened to see a familiar red jacket in front of her. She paused when she realized Alastor had stepped in front of her, in front of the knife.
"Now, now, my dear. I believe that was the wrong move to make." Alastor stated darkly, static filling the lobby.
Charlie watched as he began to twist and crack into his demonic form. Once he grew to the height of the lobby, her eyes landed on Lute across from her.
Lute was staring up at Alastor in horror. Her hands were in front of her, shaking. "No, I'm sorry. I'll go. Please." She whimpered. She was alone and defenseless.
"Entertaining really, how you think because I'm here at this establishment that I believe in forgiveness." Alastor boomed. He set his large hands down beside Lute, like a child peering down at an ant. He craned his long neck down to her. The glow of the radio dials focused on her. "Lucky for me, I'm still hungry."
Charlie's lips parted as she watched Alastor pick Lute up in his giant hand. She struggled but it was no use. What the radio demon wanted, he got.
Alastor lifted his other hand to grip Lute's legs. He smiled widely before pulling her body apart. Golden blood splattered across the lobby, his face and Charlie.
The blood slid down Charlie's face as she stared at Alastor. He lifted his hands up above his mouth and dropped Lute's body pieces into his mouth. She could hear the crunch of bones as he chewed. He had done this once before, so it was no surprise to her but all she could think about was her nightmare. It had physically frozen her in place. Would he turn to her next? Would he go back on his promise?
As if hearing her thoughts, Alastor turned his head to look down at Charlie. The golden liquid dripping down his obscure demonic face. He began to walk towards her. As he did, he shrunk down until he was at his regular height in front of her.
"I'm sorry, my darling." He said, pulling out a handkerchief from his jacket pocket to wipe the angelic blood from her face. "Don't worry about the mess, I'll clean it up."
Charlie's eyes remained on his. He kept his promise and he had saved her. Oh no, she forgot about the knife. Her eyes looked down at his stomach, no knife. Her hands reached out to open his jacket.
Completely caught off guard, Alastor flinched. His eyes shot down to her opening his jacket to show blood seeping through his shirt.
"Sit down."
"I'm fi-"
"I'm not asking."
Alastor looked into her eyes. He smirked at her demand. "As you wish." He sat down in a nearby chair. "I really am all right." He said again, watching her crouch down on her knees to assess the wound. He paused, seeing her set between his legs. "Though, I don't mind you fussing over me, I suppose."
Charlie ignored him. "Alastor, this is serious. This was an angelic weapon." Her eyes looked up at him. "She could of killed you."
Alastor froze. If looks could kill, he would die again surely. He couldn't stand to see her in so much despair. "Charlie, I promise, I'm-"
"Stop!" Charlie raised her voice causing the radio demon to snap his jaw shut. "You could of died, Alastor. There would of been no coming back from that. Are you stupid?" Her voice cracked at the end.
"Darling-"
"How am I suppose to redeem you if I lose you forever?"
Alastor paused. "Charlie."
"Don't do that ever again. You understand? I have to save you. I have-"
"Charlie!"
Charlie froze, her eyes locking with his. Tears welled in her eyes.
Alastor had a snarl on his face as he eyed her. He relaxed; his face softening once he saw the tears in her eyes and her worried expression. "Charlie..." He reached over and grasped her hands in his. "There's no redemption for me."
"What? No, I have to tr-"
"Charlie." Alastor said strictly. "I can't be redeemed. I am what I am." He stared into her eyes, watching a tear escape and slide down her face.
Charlie searched his face. He looked so sure of himself. He looked as if he accepted what he was and the damnation of his soul. "But... you deserve better than this..." She whispered.
"I don't." Alastor released her hands but she quickly grabbed them again.
"Everyone deserves another chance, Alastor." Charlie said. "Wouldn't you want to be at peace in Heaven?"
Alastor locked eyes with her. A smile spread across his face. "Darling, you are as close to Heaven as I'll ever get." He said. "Besides, I couldn't imagine leaving you alone with the hotel. It's our venture, is it not?"
Charlie just stared at him. How easily he made her come undone. She grabbed him by the lapels and pulled him down to her. Her lips pressed against his, not caring about who saw.
He smirked against her lips then slid his hand through her hair to grip the back of her head. He pressed his lips back against hers, coaxing her mouth open to run his tongue along hers. He broke the kiss, moving some hair out of her face.
"I should tidy this up before our patrons return."
Charlie glanced over at the lobby. Golden blood splattered everywhere like someone had forgot to put a lid on a blender. The angelic knife stained red on the wooden floor, the only contrast to the gold. "Okay, fair." She looked back at his wound.
Alastor lifted her chin up to look at him. "I won't lie to you." He started. "It'll take a while to heal but I promise I'll take it easy." He smiled then snapped his fingers on his other hand. The lobby looked normal again; the blood and knife gone, like it never happened.
"Should I help you to your room?"
Alastor smirked at her. He snapped his fingers again and they both vanished.

They both appeared standing in the middle of Alastor's room.
"There, right as-"
Charlie grabbed Alastor by the front of his jacket and moved him backwards over to his bed. She watched his eyes widen before the back of his legs hit the edge of the bed. She shoved him back. He grunted when his back hit the bed. He propped himself on his elbows as he eyed her.
"Char-"
Charlie stood between his knees and bent down to open his jacket. Then proceeded to unbutton the blood soaked shirt underneath.
Alastor went to speak again but she shot him a look. He kept his mouth shut.
She unbuttoned the last button and pulled his shirt open. Her eyes landed on the red gouge in his lower abdomen, right above the waistband to his pants. She also noticed the slanted scar across his chest going down to his stomach. He had mentioned that Adam had injured him but not that badly. Her eyes looked up at him.
"Don't move."
Charlie moved away from him and walked into his washroom. He heard her rummage around until she made a happy chirp. He watched her come out of the bathroom with a first aid kit.
"Where did you find that?" Alastor asked, his brow raised.
Charlie eyed him. "There's one in each bathroom." She knelt between his knees. She set the kit on the bed beside him and opened it up.
Alastor kept his eyes on her, glancing to her hands in the kit before looking back at her. "My magic-"
Charlie put her fingers to his lips. "Let me do this. Please." Her brows were furrowed in worry.
Alastor examined her face then exhaled a breath. "As you wish." He mumbled against her fingers.
She removed her fingers and proceeded to disinfect the wound. Since it was a heavenly weapon, the wound would act the same as if on Earth. It would heal but it would take much longer than a Hellish weapon. "This is going to sting."
Alastor scoffed. "I doubt-"
Charlie rubbed the disinfectant on his wound gently.
He made no sound. But he did press his lips into a thin line and dig his claws into the bed sheets.
"I'm sorry..." Charlie murmured, her head down to avoid his gaze. She finished wiping his wound then grabbed some cream to wipe along the gouge. She felt him tremble as her finger traced the slit on his skin with the cream. Her eyes looked up at him intensely watching her.
"Does that hurt?" She asked softly.
Alastor shook his head, eyes on hers.
Charlie grabbed the bandage from the kit. She tore off the plastic covering the sticky and gently pushed it over the wound, lightly rubbing the corners to stick to his skin. "There." Her eyes looked up at him.
"Come here."
Charlie's lips parted as she slowly began to climb up onto him. He kept on his elbows, waiting for her to come to him. She settled in front of him, noses almost touching.
"Why do you fuss over me so much?"
"Because I care for you." Charlie answered.
Alastor searched her face. "Like the others?"
"No." Charlie breathed.
Maroon eyes flickered across her face. He could feel her breath against his skin, her light panting breaths. He slowly leaned in, mouth capturing hers in a soft kiss.
Charlie felt the heat rise in her cheeks as she closed her eyes. Her lips greeted his accordingly.
Alastor used his core muscles to hold himself up as hands glided down her curves then to her pants. He effortlessly unbuttoned them and pushed them down.
Charlie kicked the pants off her legs, their lips never parting. She proceeded to unbutton his pants and pull them down just enough for him to kick them off his legs as well. They both smiled into the kiss. Her hand slid under the elastic of his boxers to grip the length of him.
Alastor groaned softly into her mouth. He supported himself on one elbow, his other hand trailing down to her panties, sliding them aside to run his finger along her slick folds. She was already drenched.
Charlie gasped into Alastor's mouth. She positioned his cock at her opening, feeling Alastor's hand help guide his cock by her panties to slip inside her.
They moaned into each other's mouth at the same time.
Charlie pushed herself completely down on him, earning another groan from the radio demon. She pulled herself slowly up then back down until he was engulfed by her. Her hands came up to hold his shoulders.
Alastor's hand slid into Charlie's hair. He gripped it and pulled her deeper into the kiss. He thrusted along with her, consuming all the little moans coming from her mouth.
There was no words spoken between the two. The whole of Hell ceased to exist to them.
Charlie's breathing quickened as she bounced rhythmically on his cock. Her claws gripped into his shoulders.
Alastor's breathing hitched, his hand gripping her hair tighter. He groaned into the kiss as he felt her clench around his cock, causing them both to climax at the same time.
Charlie's hands came up to cup his face. The kiss turned soft again before she finally pulled away, her eyes looking into his.
"Stay with me." Alastor breathed.
She smiled down at him. "As you wish."
Alastor smiled, a pure genuine smile.
Alastor stared up at his ceiling the entire night. Charlie had fell asleep on his chest and he'd be damned again if he was to move her from her peaceful slumber. His right arm draped over his forehead as the claws on his left traced nonsense softly along Charlie's back.
How could he let this happen? The feelings swirling around his chest, bringing up emotions he didn't think he would ever have. This would complicate things. She would complicate things. His eyes glanced down at her blond swirls cascading down her arms. Surely he could just keep this as a game, a silly little game that would end his obnoxious deal and set him free.
Charlie stirred. "Al..."
"Yes, my darling?" His hand ran up her back to trail his claws through her hair gently, his eyes going back to the ceiling.
Silence.
His eyes looked back down at her. Another dream? He waited, claws slowly threading through her hair.
"Don't..."
Alastor waited.
"Don't leave me..." Charlie whimpered softly.
He paused. He felt his breathing stop as he watched her slightly start to tremble.
Charlie mumbled something quickly but he was able to catch it. 'Everyone always leaves me.'
Alastor, for the first time in all his mortal life and afterlife, felt his heart ache for someone other than himself. His eyes looked up at the ceiling again, his hand sliding down from her hair to her back to gently soothe her.
"I won't leave you." Alastor whispered to her sleeping form. "You'll always have me..."

Charlie awoke in Alastor's bed. She blinked her eyes open then sat up, rubbing one of her eyes. She glanced around the room slowly. She didn't see the radio demon at all. She slid her naked body out from under the covers and began to put her clothes back on. She yawned, her hand going up to hover over her mouth as she did. It was such a good night, and a good sleep. Why did she still feel so tired? Her mind quickly reminded her of the dream she had. She sighed heavily. Another dream about Alastor, but it was... different this time. As much as it broke her when Vaggie left, the feeling of having Alastor leave seemed to hurt her more.
She finished buttoning her blazer as the door opened. She looked over to see Alastor walk in, a strained smile on his face.
"Good morning, darling." He said, his hands behind his back. He had his microphone with him this time. "It seems your father has returned." He managed to say through gritted teeth.
Charlie couldn't help but smile a bit. "Al, I want you to promise me something."
Alastor narrowed his eyes at her, knowing what was coming.
"Please be civil today? For me?"
"Hmmm." Alastor hummed, his eyes looking away from her. He let out an annoyed sigh. "As you wish."
Charlie walked up to him. She pushed herself up on her tippy toes to kiss his cheek. Hell, he was so tall. "Thank you."
Alastor scrunched his nose as he eyed her. "Of course, darling." He snapped his fingers, freshening up Charlie's suit and hair. He locked his arm with hers and led her down the hallway towards the main staircase.
Charlie glanced over at him. He seemed very rigid; she didn't blame him, her father and him seemed to have a superiority complex between them.
"Oh! This is actually very good." Lucifer sipped the apple martini Husker had just made for him... at nine in the morning. "Excellent notes of apple." His eyes glanced toward the staircase to see Alastor and Charlie walking down. His gaze focused in on Charlie's arm locked with his.
"Hey dad!" Charlie unhooked her arm from Alastor's once they reached the bottom of the stairs.
"Sweetie!" Lucifer set his drink back down on the bar and walked over to her. He embraced her tightly, shooting Alastor a look over her shoulder before he pulled away. His hands still holding her arms as he looked up at her. "How's the hotel been?"
Husker set a bowl of popcorn on the counter for him and Angel. He tossed a piece into his mouth as they both watched the scene unravel.
"Good! People seem to be more interested now that they know redemption is possible!" Charlie chirped.
Lucifer smiled widely. "Wonderful news!" His eyes shot to Alastor standing a bit behind her then he looked back at Charlie.
"He's not still needed... is he?" Lucifer almost whispered.
Husker chuckled. Alastor eyed Husker.
"Dad."
Lucifer let go of her arms. He waved his hand in the air, his eyes closed. "I'm just teasing, honey." His eyes opened to give Alastor another look.
Alastor raised his brows, his smile pressed thin. He didn't say a word. He promised he would be civil, and being quiet was civil, right?
"Are you staying for a while?" Charlie asked.
Lucifer put his arm around his daughter's waist then led her over to the bar. "Unfortunately, no." He released her once they got there and picked up his martini. "Since I've started to pay more attention on what's going on in Hell, I've become quite busy." He grimaced, not really happy about it.
Charlie placed her hand on her dad's shoulder. "I'm proud of you." She smiled.
Lucifer paused then smiled. "Such a sweet apple." She removed her hand from his shoulder once he went to take a sip of his drink. "I'm just here for a bit. See if you need help with anything or anyone." His smile turned tight, and he didn't look at anyone in particular but everyone knew who he meant.
"Everything's great." Charlie smiled. "Alastor and I are great partners."
Husker eyed Charlie then Alastor for a moment. Angel shoved popcorn in his mouth as he stared wide eyed at them like he was watching a movie.
Alastor came up beside Charlie, his arm sliding across her back to rest his hand on her opposite shoulder. "Excellent partners. Charlie is a doll." He smiled down at her, pulling her loosely against his side.
Charlie watched Lucifer glare at Alastor before she looked up at him. "Yup." She squeaked then looked back at her dad.
Lucifer looked around. "So, uh, where's Maggie?"
"Vaggie."
"What did I say?" Lucifer looked at Charlie.
"She went back to Heaven..." Charlie said, feeling Alastor pull her subtlely tighter against him. "She's become our liason and... we broke up."
Lucifer just stared at Charlie.
"Dad?"
Lucifer frog blinked. "I'm sorry, what?" His focus coming back into play.
Charlie glanced up at Alastor then back to her dad. "She... went back to Heaven and we broke up?"
Lucifer looked at Alastor, then his arm around his daughter then Charlie's face and the blush creeping in along her cheeks. "No no no no no, aha, no." He pushed himself in-between them, hip checking Alastor to the side and putting his arm around Charlie's waist again. "You broke up? Why?"
Alastor glared at Lucifer as he regained his balance. His hands going behind his back as he watched the two of them converse.
"It's... complicated." Charlie explained. "But dad, there's something else."
"Oh sweet apples, please don't let it be what I think..." Lucifer mumbled under his breath.
"Lute came down yesterday, the day after Vaggie visited. And... she tried to kill me."
Lucifer froze. His face became hard, set in stone as he turned to face her completely. His eyes scanned her for a moment then settled back on her eyes. "Are you hurt?" He said through clenched teeth.
"No," Charlie said then locked arms with Alastor. "Al saved me."
Husker narrowed his eyes at Charlie holding the radio demon's arm.
Lucifer pursed his lips then eyed Alastor. His eyes gave him a quick scan before focusing back on his face. "Thank... you." He said in a strained voice.
Alastor's grin stretched across his face. His other hand patted Charlie's hand that rested on his arm. "It was nothing. Charlie means a lot to this hotel, and myself."
Lucifer just stared at Alastor, his eyes narrowing.
Charlie looked at Alastor. She knew asking him about his wound in front of everyone would just injure the pride he held, especially with her father there. Her eyes looked back at Lucifer. "Uh, how about some brunch?"
Lucifer broke eye contact with Alastor to look at his daughter. "Wonderful idea!" He hooked her other arm in his and pulled her away from Alastor, heading towards the kitchen. "I've been craving some pancakes!"
Alastor glared at Lucifer, his gaze watching them disappear down the hallway.
"Uh," Husker started. "Well, that was eventful."
Alastor had his back to Husker. He held up his hand, hushing him. "Not a word."
Husker smirked and tossed some popcorn into his mouth.
Alastor kept himself busy for most of the day while Charlie entertained Lucifer. He absolutely could not stand the man, and he knew the feeling was mutual. He scowled at the thought of him. If he wasn't so important to Charlie, he would of found a way to permanently rid him from this hellscape.
It seemed like his actions against Lute went noticed in Heaven as well, since Lucifer hadn't mentioned it. The exterminations were over and there was no use for the excorists now. Heaven was probably glad to be rid of a female version of Adam. It didn't surprise him really.
He lifted his hand to eye his claws as he made his way to Rosie's. He wouldn't make the same mistake twice. He wasn't at his full power, and without an angelic weapon... well, it seemed his pride wasn't enough to win that fight against Adam. So he prepared, and it just so happened that Lute was the first one he tested his new claws on. How lovely, to be able to rip angels apart and see their panicked faces. He smirked to himself, reminiscing about Lute's horrified face. Turned out, angel's tasted surprisingly sweet. He wasn't a huge fan.
He paid a visit to Rosie first then did a short broadcast, reminding everyone not to mess with him or his establishment if they wanted to keep their wretched damned existence.
Alastor had took a walk around the grounds before he made his way up the path back towards the hotel, his eyes down to the ground, lost in thought.
"Alastor!"
Alastor lifted his head just as Lucifer put his arm around Alastor's waist, turning back to face the hotel. He waved at Charlie, who was standing on the steps in front of the hotel. He turned them so Charlie couldn't see their faces. He eyed Alastor. "I believe it's in your best interest to make sure no harm comes to my little girl."
Alastor glared down at Lucifer. He could tolerate the touch of women and his darling demon belle but men? Definitely not. He scoffed at Lucifer but didnt move away. "I assure you she's in safe hands."
"That better be true." Lucifer released his hold on Alastor. "Don't think because I'm not present that I don't know what goes on in my kingdom."
Maroon eyes stared at the short king of Hell. He was a hundred percent sure that was a threat. Did he know?
Lucifer smirked at his expression. "I'll be around, Al." He tapped Alastor on his chest with the apple on the tip of his cane before turning and walking off down the path.
Alastor made sure he was out of sight before turning to look towards the hotel. Charlie still stood there, watching him. He kept his usual facade, but something rumbled in his chest. Secrets were bound to spill out sooner or later. The question was: should he spill them now or wait for them to be toppled?
"Nah, something isn't right." Husker huffed, his hand gripping a bottle of cheap booze. "He's planning something."
"Of course he's planning something." Angel said, sitting at the bar. "It's Al. I think I'd be kinda worried if he wasn't planning something ta be honest."
Husker eyed Angel. He had known Alastor for a long time, and he had never seen him this territorial. "Hmmm..." He replied, then took a swig of his booze.
"Do you think he's going to hurt Char?"
Husker shook his head. "No, that wouldn't benefit him at all." He explained. "He needs his deals. He thinks he's so slick and clever. If he wanted to eat her, I'm sure he'd of already tried."
"Ya never know! He could of ate blondie already!" Angel chuckled.
Husker pursed his lips. He did NOT want to picture or even think of that. "Ugh." He turned and grabbed another bottle of booze.
Angel wiped the tears from his eyes. "Oh come on now! We know strawberry pimp wouldn't even try with Charlie. As you said, nothin' in it for him."
"I'm aware." Husker said but he wasn't too convinced. Alastor was conniving, he could easily presuade the fair hearted princess of Hell into a fake situation of love if it got him what he wanted. He felt Angel grab his hand. His eyes looked over at the spider demon.
"Don't worry so much." Angel said in a soft voice. "Charlie's got us. Nothing'll happen to her." He smiled.
Husker smiled back at him then gripped his hand in his.
"Oh... my... GOODNESS!"
Angel and Husker both froze. They turned their heads slowly over to see Charlie. She had come from the kitchen hallway and stood there, hands pushing her cheeks together as she stared at the two men with sparkles in her eyes.
"Char-" Angel went to speak.
Charlie rushed over and sat next to Angel at the bar. She turned to face Angel, hands on her lap. "Please tell me this is what I think it is!" Her eyes glanced from Angel, to Husker then back to Angel. She had wanted to confront them since that little hallway incident but she didn't want them to think she was snooping.
Angel sighed.
"Yes." Husker responded.
Angel looked at Husker with a shocked expression. Charlie pretty much exploded in rainbows and little hearts.
"Oh my goooosh!" Charlie squealed. "This is amazing! I love you guys!" She looked at Husker. "Bartender! This requires a bottle of your finest drink!" She leaned in closer to him. "One of Al's bottles." She smiled.
Angel blushed once Husker made eye contact with him. Husker smiled at him then pulled out a couple bottles of whiskey.
"Just two bottles?"
Angel and Husker both looked at the princess in disbelief. She wasn't normally a drinker.
Charlie noticed their expressions and waved her hand in the air. "One more shouldn't hurt is all I mean! There is three of us!"
"Four."
Charlie, Angel and Husker both looked over to see Alastor walking over to them. He sat down next to Charlie, his usual sharp grin across his face.
"My my, what's the occasion?" Alastor eyed the bottles of whiskey then looked over at Charlie.
Charlie sucked her bottom lip into her mouth as she stared at Alastor. "Angel and Husk. They're together!" She clasped her hands together, a big smile on her face.
"Ah, perfect for a celebration then." Alastor looked over at Husker who seemed a bit nervous. "Don't be so coy, Husker. Pour us a drink!" He laced his fingers together.
Husker wasn't sure if he was going to get reprimanded later but fuck it. He shrugged and opened one of the bottles. He took out four glasses and four shot glasses.
"Oooouuu, this one please." Charlie pointed at the shot glass.
Alastor shot her a side look. Angel noticed.
"She's not too keen on the booze, Al." Angel noted, his hand rested against his cheek as he leaned on the counter. "I'm sure she'd face plant if she drank like us." He smirked.
Charlie gasped. "I assure you I can hold my own thank you very much. Husker," she tapped one of the regular glasses. "This one please. Right to the top!"
Husker pursed his lips together then eyed Angel. Angel grimaced. He poured the amber liquid into Charlie's glass, a drop away from over flowing.
"My dear-"
Charlie picked the glass up and chugged the whole thing.
Husker, Angel and Alastor just stared at her until she finished and set the glass on the counter.
"Another!"
Alastor smirked.

It wasn't even the end of office hours before the four of them had started drinking. Charlie cut the work day earlier so they could enjoy some much needed companionship. Angel had called Cherri over at Charlie's bequest. Fortunately, everyone else had experience with alcohol so they could hold it well. Unlike Charlie, who was very much at the cut off zone.
"Oh c'monnn, Huskerrrr. One more." Charlie held her finger up as she tried to focus on the cat demon in front of her.
Husker rubbed the bridge of his nose. "I said no, Charlie." He put his hand up to shush her before she spoke again. "And being the princess of Hell doesn't work either."
Charlie pouted.
"Charlie, dear."
Charlie turned to look at Alastor sitting beside her. He looked absolutely fine, even though he had drank a whole bottle himself. "Hm?"
"I think it may be time to say goodnight." Alastor stated.
Husker eyed Alastor curiously.
"Aww... really?" Charlie pouted again. "Okay, fine." She looked at Husker. "Goodnight." Then she turned to face the lobby center where Angel, Cherri and Niffty were all dancing. Angel was playing music from his phone held in one his hands. "Goodnight!" She said a bit too loudly then covered her mouth. "Sorry!" She giggled.
"Hey! Smiles!" Angel shouted over as he watched Alastor help Charlie stand from her seat. "Make sure she gets a glass of water before sleeping."
"Good partyin' with ya!" Cherri said then walked over to the bar to get another drink.
Niffty was in her own little world. She mumbled something with a quick wave and twitchy grin. The little demon consumed too much alcohol for such a wee size.
Alastor placed his hand on the small of Charlie's back, leading her towards the stairs. He helped her up the steps, well, as much as she'd let him anyway. He mostly guided her to make sure she didn't fall back down them. He was astonished that she was able to walk honestly. They walked the hallways towards her room.
"You're so nice." Charlie said. Their arms locked together, she leaned her head on his shoulder.
He smiled. "I assure you that I am not nice." He said. "Having good manners and being nice are two different things, my darling." Maroon eyes looked down at her.
Charlie lifted her head to look up at him. "Hell..." Alastor raised his eyebrows at her, being mindful as to where they were walking. "You're handsome too. Why are you so handsome?"
Alastor chuckled. He wasn't used to these type of compliments but he wouldn't complain. She could say anything to him, all day, and he'd sit there and listen. "I believe I'm just damned to have good looks."
"Mhm." Charlie agreed. "And you smell great. Absolutely fantastic actually."
Alastor felt a small tingling heat along his cheeks. He narrowed his eyes a bit in confusion.
"I don't think I've ever actually told you how wonderful you look in your suit!" Charlie said, apparently having no filter when she was drunk. "Of course you know this, right? That's why you wear it?" She asked.
"I-I suppose." Alastor said.
"Oh jeez, and don't even get me started on your cock. I cou-"
"Charlotte!"
Charlie noticed they had stopped walking. She looked up at Alastor to see a deep red along his cheeks. She gasped and put her hands over her mouth. "I'm so sorry!" She quickly said.
Alastor cleared his throat. "No harm done." He managed to say. He opened the door to her room then stood aside. "After you."
She smiled then walked passed him into her room. She made her way to her bed and immediately collapsed, face first, on it.
"Dearest, I'm sure it would be more comfortable if you changed first." Alastor shut the door behind him. He made his way over to her dresser. He hummed softly as he opened the drawer. She rolled onto her back then sat up.
"That one." Charlie said when he picked up her black silk night dress.
Alastor closed the drawer with the garment draped over his arm. He walked over to her then knelt down in front of her. "Do you need help?" He asked.
Charlie was fiddling with the buttons on her blazer, mumbling to herself. "Ugh," she dropped her hands to look at him front of her. "Yes." She pouted.
Alastor smiled. He could get used to drunk Charlie if she kept pouting like that. He set the night gown down on the bed beside her then went about undressing her. He set her blazer and under shirt onto the bed before unbuttoning her pants. "Lift." He said then tugged her pants off when she lifted her ass up. He looked up into her eyes.
Charlie unclipped her bra and dropped it to the floor. She sighed happily. "So much better."
"Arms up, darling."
Charlie lifted her arms up as he stood with the night gown. He slipped it over her head and arms then down her body. She smiled at the feel of his hands. Once he set himself back down on his knees to look at her, she leaned in and pressed her lips against his.
Alastor smiled against her lips then returned the gesture. He pinched her chin between his index finger and thumb then broke the kiss. "Time for bed."
"But-"
Alastor tutted. "No buts, missy. Bed."
Charlie sighed then pulled the covers down on her bed. She climbed into the sheets, sliding herself down for her head to rest on her pillow.
Alastor stood up then made his way into her bathroom. He came back out shortly after with a cup of water. "Here. Drink this first." He sat down on the edge of the bed.
Charlie sat up and took the glass from him. She downed it and set the empty glass on her side table. She looked over at Alastor.
"Stay with me?" Charlie asked softly.
"As you wish."
Charlie scooted over. He pivoted himself so his back touched her head board and his legs stretched out on her bed. As soon as he settled, Charlie leaned down to rest her head in his lap. He smiled and began to run his claws tenderly through her hair.
Charlie hummed as her eyes closed, enjoying the feeling. "That feels nice..."
"Shhh, try and sleep now." Alastor cooed then his eyes narrowed slightly at the tone he used.
"Thank you." Charlie whispered, on the verge of sleep. "I can't imagine doing this without you..."
Alastor opened his mouth to speak.
"I love you..."
Alastor physically froze. He had stopped moving his hand through her hair and he didn't breathe for almost a couple minutes. He only noticed when he felt the pain in his lungs, then inhaled a deep breath. His eyes shot down to Charlie, who was most definitely asleep now. He could hear her soft breaths as she relaxed comfortably on his lap.
Time had froze. Alastor couldn't think or speak, everything locked down inside of him. He just stared down at the princess and his claws resting between her blond locks.
Charlie had said she loved him. He couldn't tell if it was out of her drunken state or that she was just freely exposing how she truly felt. He scoffed at his thought. It wouldn't matter anyway. Once he was free from his deal, he'd abandon them. He didn't care about, or love anyone. It was impossible, and also truly entertaining that the patrons here thought he may actually have a heart. His eyes shifted back down to Charlie. Just a little fun and games until the end. How boring it would be to wait around until the chain broke. He lifted his hand and gently rubbed his neck. Even alone, he would never drop that ever present smile on his face. But anyone could tell his feelings if they watched his eyes.
"Al..." She murmured in her sleep.
Alastor broke his train of thought to look down at Charlie. There it was again, that tug in his chest. His hand slowly resumed threading through her hair. Was he doing this out of habit? Or was it something he wanted to do? He eyed the woman asleep on his lap, so trusting. He could easily make her hurt, make her bleed. But he wouldn't. Not because he couldn't but because he didn't want to. His eyes softened as he watched her hand slowly grip his pant leg.
"What have you done to me, my darling Charlie..." He whispered outloud.
It seemed this little game was taking quite the unexpected turn.

Charlie wasn't too impressed when she woke up alone in the morning. She knew he didn't sleep, and maybe it would be boring to lay here the entire night... Okay, maybe she shouldn't be that upset. She sighed then slid out of bed. She needed a hot shower and to assess the damage of last night. Luckily enough, she didn't feel too bad.
She had come up with a brilliant idea while scrubbing herself clean in the shower. She had remembered he was too polite last night, too gentlemanly to take advantage of her. Even though she didn't think she'd ever deny him. She blushed at the thought then shook her head. Fixing her hair and her face before she left the bathroom. She slipped on her regular shirt and blazer, but instead of pants, she slid her knee length black frilly skirt on. She just may of forgotten her underwear too. She checked every angle in her full body mirror before she left her room. With any luck, he was already in the office.
The first thing she noticed was the door to the office was opened, which meant she was correct. She smiled and walked inside.
"Good morning."
Alastor sat at his side of the desk, coffee cup to his lips. His eyes locked onto Charlie's. He lowered the cup, baring his teeth in a wide smile. "Good morning, darling."
Charlie hummed softly to herself as she turned to face the door as she shut it. She locked the deadbolt then turned to look at Alastor.
Alastor was looking down at his paperwork, taking another sip of his coffee. He set it down on the table as he swallowed the hot bitter liquid. His eyes looked up at her. "How was your sleep?"
She walked around the table, his eyes following her as she rounded the table to stand beside him. She grabbed the arms of the chair and turned him to face her.
"Char-"
Charlie pressed her lips against his, cutting him off. She climbed ontop of him, gently grinding against him as she settled in his lap. Her hands ran up his chest to grip the lapels of his jacket. She felt his hands slip to her waist and grip, breaking through the fabric of the skirt. She broke the kiss and moved down his jawline until she got to his ear.
"Just relax..." She breathed. He felt goosebumps rise on his skin.
Alastor brushed his nose and lips against her neckline as his hands slowly ran up her sides and up along her spine.
Charlie reached down to unbutton his pants and pull his zipper down. He shuffled slightly when she slid her hand into his pants to pull out his already hard cock. Her hands gripped her skirt to hike it up to her waist before she lowered herself ontop of him.
"Ngk... fuck..." Alastor groaned into her neck, his claws gently digging into her back. She was so wet.
Charlie moved slowly on him, enjoying the feel of him inside her. She was about to let out a moan when there was a knock at the door.
Alastor's eyes shot to the door. Then he felt Charlie's hand cover his mouth. Did she think he would be too loud? How amusing. His eyes looked back at her. He paused when he noticed her devilish grin. She lifted her free hand to her mouth, placing a finger against her lips.
"Charlie?" Angel called from the hallway.
Charlie began to move faster ontop of him. She bit her bottom lip as she watched his eyebrows furrow at her.
"Al?" Angel called.
Charlie kept quickening the movement until she felt him start to shudder. His claws digging deep into her back now. He stifled a groan into her palm. She heard Angel shuffle at the door then eventually, his foot steps walking away. She slowed her pace and removed he hand. "Good boy."
In one swift movement, Alastor had stood them up then flipped Charlie around. He pushed her stomach down ontop of their shared desk, her ass in the air. He slid himself into her as his right hand came up to push her head down against the table. He leaned overtop of her. "I'm not good." He growled into her ear before leaning up a bit. His left hand gripped her hip, causing blood to welt under the tips of his claws.
Charlie's cheek was pressed against the table as she moaned. "A-Alastor." She gasped.
"Nnh, Charlie..." Alastor groaned as he fucked her against the table. "That's it. Good girl..." He praised.
Charlie felt her body clench around him at his words, earning a loud groan from the radio demon.
Alastor lost control.
The room began to darken.
Charlie's eyes watched the darkness consume the corners and walls of the office.
Crackle. Hissss.~
Charlie felt her heart jump to her throat.
"Oh, darling..." Alastor's voice was mixed with a heavy static. His hand moved to her hair and gripped it, pulling her back up against his chest. His mouth hovered along her neck. "You are so very delectable..." His tongue snaked out to lick slowly up her neck.
Charlie trembled at the feel of his tongue on her skin. She felt him slow his pace as he tasted her flesh with his mouth. He paused when he got to the almost healed teeth marks he left on the nape of her shoulder.
Charlie swallowed. "Yes..." She breathed.
Alastor groaned as he sunk his teeth into her skin. He gripped her tightly when he felt her flinch. He held her arms to her sides to stop her from moving, then he heard her moan softly. He hummed against her skin as he released her arms.
Charlie braced her hands down on the table, feeling the warm liquid slip down off her shoulder. She stared at the blood drops on the table. "Your... going to ruin our table." She panted.
Alastor slid an arm around her abdomen as he thrusted slowly into her. His other hand trailing up around her to grab her neck. He lazily removed his teeth from her flesh. "The table is the least of your concerns, darling..."
Charlie felt his mouth back on the fresh wound, indulging in the taste of her blood in his mouth. He began to quicken his thrusts.
"Ah- Al..." Charlie panted.
"Ugh. F-Fuck." Alastor groaned into the wound. "Darling, I-I'm-"
He felt her clench tightly against him. He groaned loudly as they climaxed at the same time. They both shook as they came down from their high. Alastor sat back down in his chair, pulling her onto his lap. The darkness leaking back into his shadow casted on the floor.
"What... uh- what caused that sudden outburst?" Alastor asked through heavy pants.
"It was pay back, for last night." She answered, her eyes closed with the back of her head rested against his chest.
Alastor paused. "Do you remember last night?"
Charlie shrugged. "I remember having a good time, you taking me to bed, then rejecting me and making me go to sleep." She huffed.
Alastor smirked. "Charlie, darling, you were too inebriated. I would of felt like I took advantage."
"Take advantage." Charlie blurted out. "You have my permission." She paused then tilted her head to look up at him. "Were you being honest when you said you don't spy on people sleeping?"
Alastor scoffed. "Of course I was. What would be entertaining about that?"
Charlie stared up at him. "Not even me?"
"Not even you."
"What if I gave you permission?" Before she could stop herself, the words fell from her mouth. She blushed deeply.
Alastor paused at her words. He scanned her face for a moment then a smirk spread across his face. "Are you asking me to... stalk you, my dear?"
Charlie's lips parted as she watched Alastor's eyes flicker to radio dials then back to maroon. She swallowed. "Yes."
Alastor kept his gaze on hers. He hummed then leaned back in the chair.
Charlie blushed. "Are you going to tell me when you're going to do it?"
"My dear," Alastor tutted. "What would be the fun in that?"
Charlie sat in the parlor, working on her plans all morning to bring more guests to the hotel. She sighed heavily then rested her chin on her hand. Laughter echoed through the lobby and into the parlor. She looked over towards the bar to see Husker and Angel laughing, and holding hands. She smiled softly to herself. It was wonderful to see them really happy for once. Her smile slowly faded. Would Alastor hold her hand like that in public? Or was their relationship going to be a secret forever? She looked down at the colorful papers scattered across the coffee table in front of her.
"Oh, Al!" Angel called out.
Charlie jerked out of thought to look back over at Angel and Husker. She watched Alastor step down from the stairs and walk over to them.
"Hmm?"
"Can you make that dish from last week? The one your mom almost died over or whatever?" Angel asked; Husker shot him a look.
Alastor hummed. "I suppose I could. I am headed to the market after all."
Angel smacked the bar counter. "Awesome!" Husker chuckled and the spider demon looked over at him. "What? It's good!"
Charlie almost leapt from her seat. This was the perfect time to test the waters in their relationship. She walked over to the group, her eyes settling on Alastor. "Can I join you?"
Alastor looked over at Charlie, his thin smile widening at the sight of her. "Of course."
"Husky and I will make dessert too." Angel wiggled his eyebrows at Husker.
Husker pursed his lips then grumbled something. Angel patted his paw with a smile.
Charlie hooked her arm with Alastor's. "Have fun!" She said as they walked out of the hotel.
"I did mention to Rosie that I'd be stopping by as well. You don't mind, do you?" Alastor asked her.
"Oh, definitely not." Charlie smiled. "I can always busy myself with something else."
Alastor patted her arm. "My dear, Rosie would have a fit if you didn't join us." His eyes looked over at her. "Besides, I enjoy having you next to me."
Charlie blushed. Through getting to know him, she found him even more charming then she had originally realized. She was sure it was intentional, or was it? He was a man of little to no love. Then she had a thought. Maybe... just maybe the key to Alastor's redemption lies in his ability to love?
"What has you so distracted?"
Her eyes looked over at him to see him staring at her. "I... was just thinking." Charlie said quickly.
"Oh, I'm aware." Alastor chuckled. "I know that face pretty well by now." He smirked at her.
Charlie looked away from him, the blush spreading across her face. She bit her bottom lip then glanced back over to him. His eyes focused ahead of them now as they walked. She unhooked their arms. His eyes looked over to her. Her fingers gently laced in-between his, gripping gently. Red eyes meeting maroon. His smile sharpened before he squeezed her hand back.
"How scandalous!"
Charlie laughed as they entered into cannibal town. Her eyes shifted around the town, everyone was so pleasant here. Surprising, really.
"We'll pop in to see Rosie first before we go to the butcher." Alastor explained, turning them down the sidewalk towards Rosie's.
"Do you come here often?"
"Every Tuesday." Alastor smiled then stopped in front of Rosie's. He released her hand to open the door for her. "After you, darling."
Charlie walked into the shop. It looked exactly the same as last time. Now that she wasn't upset, she could see that it was a clothing shop. Her eyes scanned the garments hanging along the closeted walls and the blushes of pinks and ivy greens decorating the space. And of course, skulls. She doubted they were fake.
"Alastor! Charlie!"
Charlie turned to look at Rosie walking over to them. "Good morning, Rosie." She smiled.
Rosie gathered the princess' hands in hers with a large toothy smile. "Welcome back, honey." Her eyes looked over to Alastor. "Alastor, you cheeky sod! You should of mentioned you were bringing Charlie."
"I apologize, Rosie dear."
"I kind of inserted myself into his outing today. I hope you don't mind." Charlie said.
Rosie smiled. "Of course not. You're always welcome. Come, sit." She led Charlie over to the bistro table in the corner. Alastor following behind them.
Charlie sat down, then Alastor next to her. Rosie watched them as she sat across from them.
"What's on the menu today?" Rosie asked, conjuring the tea in front of them with three cups, a milk pot and a sugar dish. Then a smaller metal pot.
"One of the patrons requested my mother's jambalaya for tonight." Alastor stated as he watched Rosie pour Charlie and her some tea.
Rosie picked up the smaller metal pot and poured Alastor a cup of bitter coffee. She passed him the cup. "That sounds lovely!" She said. "You'll have to make me a special batch sometime." She winked at Alastor.
Charlie pursed her lips together. She immediately knew that it wouldn't be something anyone outside of cannibal town would eat. She dropped a couple sugar cubes into her tea and stirred it with her spoon.
"So, Charlie,"
Charlie looked up to see Rosie smiling at her.
"How's the hotel going? I hear good things!" Rosie chirped.
Alastor sipped his coffee, his eyes looking over at the princess beside him.
"It's wonderful. Thank you for asking!" Charlie beamed. "With Alastor and my father's-" Alastor's eye twitched. "-help, it's become a lot easier. We've actually gained a couple guests, isn't that right, Al?" She looked over at Alastor beside her.
"Very right, my darling." Alastor smiled.
Rosie eyed the two of them then picked her tea up to sip it.
Charlie went to speak when her phone rang. "Oh, I'm so sorry. Excuse me." She smiled when Rosie nodded. She got up, glancing at Alastor then walking to the other side of the shop to answer her phone.
"I don't mean to intrude, dear, but what are you doing?"
Alastor's eyes looked from Charlie to Rosie. "Hmm?"
Rosie glanced at Charlie then back at Alastor. She leaned in closer to him. "Have you... developed feelings for her?" She asked with a smile.
Alastor narrowed his eyes at her question. "Don't be absurd." He said then sipped his coffee.
Rosie leaned back in her chair as she eyed him. "Ahhh. So you have a plan then..." She sipped her tea.
Charlie walked back over. "I'm sorry about that..." she sat back down. Her eyes looked down at her tea but she didn't touch it.
Alastor eyed her. "Is everything all right?"
"I..." Charlie started then sighed. "I'm not feeling too well." She looked over at him then over to Rosie. "I'm so sorry."
Rosie waved her hand in the air. "Nonsense!" She set her tea down. "You'll have to come back to catch up some other day, when you're feeling better." She smiled.
Charlie stood again. Alastor went to stand but she placed a hand on his shoulder, keeping him seated. He paused and looked up at her.
"You stay." Charlie smiled then looked over at Rosie. "Thank you for your hospitality, Rosie." She looked back at Alastor. "I'll see you back at the hotel." She turned, waved at Rosie then left the shop.
Alastor's gaze followed her out of the shop. He eyed her curiously then he heard Rosie clear her throat. He turned his head to look at her.
"Seems to be a little more than just a plan, darling." Rosie smiled then lifted her tea to sip it.

Charlie didn't go back to the hotel. Instead, she made her way through the pride ring, navigating the instructions she was given on the phone. Even though it was full of the most sadistic and blood thirsty sinners, she felt safe... ish. She didn't use her abilities often, her angelic tendencies overtaking most of her demon. But she would use them if absolutely necessary. Besides, it was sooo mean. Communication is always best to use first before violence!
She wandered down the street, eyeing the directions she had on her phone.
"Princess?"
Charlie looked over beside her at the shark demon hovering at the edge of a dark alley. She pursed her lips as she eyed the scene, she could sense the creepiness a mile away. This screamed bad news. But if this demon had any information of her mother, she had to at least try.
She walked over to the shark demon, who still looked extremely sketchy. Why was she doing this? Was she really this trusting? Yes.
"Are you the one that called me?" She asked softly.
The demon nodded, his eyes shifting back and forth rather quickly. His bright yellow eyes then focusing on hers. "Come." He turned and made his way deeper into the dark alley.
Charlie pursed her lips again. Oh fuck no. Everything inside her told her to turn around and run. No, she couldn't. She couldn't judge someone because they looked... creepy. That wasn't nice.
And with that, she stepped into the dark. She kept an eye on the shark demon walking in front of her.
"Um... s-so you said you had some information for me?"
The shark demon stopped in his tracks, causing Charlie to stop behind him. He turned to face her, his sharp teeth glistening as it caught the low lamp light above them.
"I do."
Charlie stared. Run. "Tell me." She stood tall, trying not to look scared. But you could tell she was.
"Well... your mama told me that little princesses shouldn't be walking around dark alleys with strange men."
Charlie paused, then three more demons with the same likeness walked up beside the shark demon. "Are you stupid?" She stepped back. "I'm the princess of Hell! I... I can end you." She tried to sound menacing. Truthfully, she didn't want to hurt anyone, and if she could talk them out of it or scare them a bit, maybe they'd leave her alone.
The shark demon chuckled. "I'm sure you could, sweetheart." He took a step toward her, the other three hovering behind him.
Charlie narrowed her eyes. She steadied herself, her hair slowly flickering up like flame. Her horns starting to protrude from her head.
A hand gripped her shoulder. She paused and looked over.
"Let me, my dear." Alastor smiled down at her.
"Al...?" Her red eyes wide.
"Don't lower yourself to this..." Alastor looked over at the demons. "Riff-raff."
Charlie narrowed her eyes at him. "I can-"
Alastor shot her a look and she closed her mouth. "I know you can, but let me handle this."
Charlie watched Alastor smirk at her before he removed his hand from her shoulder. He took casual steps towards the demons. She saw the already dark alley lose all aspects of light, darkness consuming every single thing.
Crack~
Crack. Crack~
Charlie held her breath. She couldn't see anything in front of her; the darkness blinding her. The air felt dense, making her heart catch in her throat. Then she heard the screams. She clenched her eyes shut, even though it was too dark to see anyway.
Sqluesh. Gurgle. Sqluesh~
She felt something wet hit her face and let out a little gasp.
Crunch. Crunch~
Silence.
Charlie took a small breath before slowly opening her eyes.
Alastor stood a couple feet in front of her. He fixed his bow tie before looking up at her, his smile wicked. The lamp light flickering above him, showing speckles of blood along his face.
"Apologies, darling." He said as he strode over, pulling his handkerchief out of his jacket pocket. He stopped in front of her and wiped the blood off her face. "It's difficult to control where the blood lands."
She stared up at him then her eyes glanced behind him at the blood soaked ground. No bodies. Her eyes flickered back to him. "T-Thank you."
Alastor pressed his lips into a thin smile. He didn't look at her as he continued to clean the blood off her face. "I'm disappointed in you."
"I'm... sorry." Charlie said. "But I would of been fine, I just needed-"
"Charlie." Alastor cut her off with the sharp look of his eyes. "I'm quite aware of the power you possess, and I'm also aware of the fact that you would rather never use it."
Charlie closed her mouth, eyes slightly widening at the hint of concern in his voice.
"This is my job." Alastor stated then wiped his own face quickly before putting his handkerchief away. "I deal with the chaos and you handle the peace."
"When did we make that deal?"
Alastor couldn't help but smirk at her. "More of an agreement, I suppose."
Charlie smiled softly then it quickly vanished. " I'm sorry," She started. "I just... really miss my mom." She looked down.
He lifted her chin back up to look at him. "No need to fret, dearest." He smiled at her, his face softening ever so slightly. "It tears at me to see you without a smile." His eyes locked with hers.
"Alastor," Charlie's heart throbbed. "I-"
Alastor put a finger to her lips then tutted. "Let's get you back home." He smiled, then pulled her against him. He snapped his fingers and they both vanished.
They appeared in Charlie's room.
Alastor release her quickly and stepped away, turning away from her.
Charlie felt the atmosphere in the room change. "Alastor...?" Her eyes shifted around the room before she settled on his back.
"Don't." The word almost echoed through the room.
Charlie paused. She stared as he stood rigid as stone, unmoving. Was he angry at her?
"Are you-"
Alastor whipped around to look at her. "I said don't, Charlotte." The words dripped heavily of apprehension.
Charlie swallowed. She remained silent.
"I expected better of you." Alastor stated then glanced away from her. "You trust everyone at this blasted hotel but you can't seem to trust me."
"Alast-"
Alastor turned in an instant, grabbing her face in his hand. His eyes narrowed, teeth bared in an almost snarl. The tips of his claws biting into her cheeks causing blood to welt. "Tell me what would possess you to do something so ridiculously naive?" He spat, his words like venom.
Charlie's hands lifted up to grip the sleeve of his jacket, her eyes widening at his sudden mood change. "I'm-I'm sorry, I..." She stuttered, her eyes frantically searching his. "I... trust everyone, Alastor. Even you." She breathed, heart throbbing in her chest.
"You lied to me." Alastor growled as he bore into her eyes.
Her eyes softened at him. She had lied about feeling unwell, and she deeply regretted it. "I... didn't want to bother you, Al..." It seemed unlike him to be so protective of her.
Alastor's face slowly began to relax after she spoke, like his mind was processing what she had said and what he was currently doing. He released her face like it had burnt him. He turned his face away. "I'd rather be there the next time you decide on a daring investigation." Maroon eyes shot to hers.
Charlie just stared at him with parted lips. Her eyes heavy with worry as she watched him flick moods like a light switch. She walked right up to him and wrapped her arms around his waist. She buried her face into his chest. "I promise..." Patience and trust; she would show him she could do both.
He paused for effect; not caught off guard this time. Instead, a smirk spread across his lips as his arms wrapped around her. She was right where he wanted her now.

"What the fuck is going on here?" Husker asked, his eyes zoned in on Charlie and Alastor in front of him.
They were holding hands.
Angel just stared in shock. His eyes flickering between the two of them.
"Well, uh... Alastor and I are... together, now." Charlie said, a light blush on her face.
Alastor let go of her hand to pull her hip against his. "We figured it was best for the relationship to be out in the open." His eyes looked down at Charlie.
Husker eyed them. "You're fuckin' with me."
"Kiss her." Angel folded his arms across his chest, his leg coming up to drape over the other. "I can't believe this is a thing if I don't see it for myself."
Charlie pursed her lips together. "Uh, Angel... Alastor isn't fond of public displays of affection." She clasped her hands together in front of her. "You'll just have to take our word for it."
Angel turned to look at Husker. "It's a joke." Husker was still eyeing the two of them.
Charlie watched them then looked up at Alastor who was glaring at the two. "Al, it's fine."
Alastor looked down at Charlie then turned her to him. He tucked some runaway strands of hair back behind her ear before he leaned in and pressed his lips gently to hers.
Husker froze causing Angel to turn back around.
Alastor pulled away after the very brief kiss. His hand rested on the side of her face, his thumb coming out to brush her bottom lip. Then he pulled completely away. He turned his attention back to Husker and Angel.
"Satisfied?"
Charlie's eyes slowly looked over at Angel and Husker. The blush a deep red now.
Husker immediately looked at Alastor, his eyes questioning before he shrugged. "Whatever makes you happy, I guess." He grabbed the bottle of booze he was drinking.
Angel was still frozen, gapping at them.
"Very happy." Alastor said.
Charlie looked up at him, a soft expression on her face. She made him very happy?
Alastor hooked her arm in his. "Since the shopping was interrupted yesterday, we'll finish it today." He turned and walked with Charlie to the door. She waved back at them before they left.
Husker's eyes looked over at Angel once they were gone. "I didn't realize you were this dramatic."
Angel turned abruptly to Husker, slamming the palms of his hands down on the bar counter. "How can you not be shocked?!" He placed a hand over his chest. "You said it yourself! Al can't love no one." His eyes softened. "Husk, Charlie's in trouble."
Husker eyed him then looked away. "I know..."
This time shopping was a breeze. Charlie followed Alastor around to his favorite shops in cannibal town. Though, he did buy some questionable things... but also regular meats surprisingly. I guess cannibals sometimes get bored of the same tastes every now and then. He easily magicked the shopping back to the hotel.
Alastor watched Charlie's enthusiastic personality dazzle and charm everyone he introduced her to. She was quite the social butterfly, and it gave him pride to show her off. Now that their relationship was out in the open. But still, he couldn't help questioning if his goals were starting to blend with these new found feelings that seemed to plague him.
"Are we seeing Rosie today?"
Alastor jerked away from his thoughts to smile at Charlie. "Not today, my dear."
Charlie looked at him as they walked along the sidewalk, leaving cannibal town. "Are we headed back to the hotel?" She pouted.
"Hmm, maybe." Alastor grabbed her, pulling her flush against him. His nose almost touching hers. "I do so love it when you pout, darling." He smirked.
Charlie smiled at him. "Where are you whisking me away to then?"
Ba-dum~
Alastor's eyes narrowed every so slightly, enough that Charlie didn't notice. "Well, I had an idea..."
Charlie raised her eyebrow at him. "What kind of idea?"
Ba-dum. Ba-dum~
Charlie watched as Alastor's lips parted and his eyes widened slowly. Her brows furrowed as the look on his face changed within a moment.
Before she could speak, he caught her lips with his. Inhaling a sharp breath as his mouth moved fervidly with hers. The kiss hit her like a hurricane; this was... different. His hands slid up to grip her firmly against him. He slowly pulled their lips apart, his eyes looking into hers.
Alastor had only felt this overwhelming urge once before: the first time he kissed Charlie in the kitchen. He swallowed gently before pulling completely away from her.
"I... apologize." He cleared his throat. "I don't know what came over me."
Charlie just smiled at him. "Don't apologize." She brushed her hands down the front of his jacket, smoothing it out before looking back up at him. "We're together. You can kiss me anytime you want to."
Alastor eyed her with a smile. "Yes, very right." He cleared his throat again then grabbed her hand in his. He lifted their laced hands to his mouth to place a kiss on her knuckles. "I'm still quite new to this, I'm afraid."
"We can go as slow as you need to. We have eternity after all."
Alastor couldn't place the pain that shot through his very core, but it didn't feel as pleasant as the overwhelming one he just experienced. It was easy enough to hide his sudden conflict with his ever present smile.
"Yes, we do, my darling."
After a productive day of shopping and making dinner that he delayed; Alastor sat on his red suede couch in his room, reading a book. Charlie had her head on his lap as she read something she plucked off his shelf, her legs out stretched along the length of the couch. His right hand gripped the book as his eyes scanned the words on the paper, his other hand threading through Charlie's unraveled hair. It seemed to be his favorite thing to do now.
It was peaceful.
Charlie slowly peeked over her book to look up at Alastor. He was always so serious, even with that grin on his face. She began to gnaw on her lip as she stared up at him. She paused when his eyes locked on hers.
Alastor didn't say a word. He watched the blush spread across her face before he set his book down beside him.
"Am I distracting?" His grin wide.
"Yes." Charlie answered then noticed the smug expression on his face. "Can... I talk to you about something?" She asked.
Alastor tilted his head to the side as he looked down at her. "Of course, darling." His hand was still trailing through her hair.
Charlie felt her heart rate increase. Why was she nervous over some silly dreams? Dreams that oddly seem to happen shortly after having them...
"Remember the nightmare I mentioned? When I asked if you could control yourself?"
Alastor nodded, his gaze still on hers. "Did you have another?"
Charlie shook her head. "No, but... I did have more. Before that one."
Alastor eyed her curiously as he waited for her to continue.
"It started off-" Charlie paused, remembering the first dream she had. The blush deepened. Alastor smirked down at her. "You don't need the details..." Her eyes looked away. "But after that one, I had one where you were injured... then the nightmare." Her eyes locked with his. "Then you leaving..."
"What did I tell you about dreams? They're not sol-"
"Solid. I know." Charlie cut him off and he eyed her. "But they are, Al. Every single one of my dreams has happened, but one."
Alastor froze. She was right. The intimate moments they've shared, the injury from Lute, the alleyway... Could she possibly be able to glance briefly into the future with her dreams? Absurd. There would be no way for her to know his true intentions.
"I'm positive you're overthinking it, dearest."
Charlie's eyes looked away. "Maybe..." she toyed with her bottom lip then looked up at him. "You... can leave when you want, you know." She said softly.
His other hand trailed down to caress the side of her face, his smile gentle. "I know." He said then leaned down to kiss her.
He would leave if he could... wouldn't he?

Charlie was busy, busy, busy! Angel had let her know that Cherri had finally decided to come stay at the hotel. She was putting up a banner, making confetti and even got up early to bake a cake in the shape of one of her bomb's.
"Slow down, you don't need ta get this crazy." Angel said, his hand on his hip as he watched Charlie zoom around like she ate a bag full of sugar.
"I'm just sooooooo excited!" Charlie chirped. Clasping her hands together, she looked over at Angel. "Who knows, maybe her and Pentious will be together soon!" Her eyes sparkled at the thought of the reunited lovers.
Angel rolled his eyes. "Oh please." He scoffed. "The only reason Pentious is up there is because he made the ultimate sacrifice for us." He stated. "So far, that's the only way and I can't see Cherri doing that for anyone."
Charlie noticed Alastor coming down the stairs behind Angel. "Sometimes people can surprise you." She smiled then walked passed Angel towards Alastor. "Good morning."
"Good morning, darling." Alastor took her hand in his and kissed the top of it. His eyes glanced around the lobby at all the decorations then his eyes landed back on hers. He released her hand. "A new guest?"
Charlie nodded so quickly, he was surprised her neck didn't break. "Cherri!" She smiled. "She finally decided to come live with us."
Alastor raised an eyebrow as he watched her vibrate on the spot. "Hmm. Well, you don't seem very excited." He teased.
Charlie giggled. "Oh stopppp." She tapped his arm then turned to observe her hardwork. "Oh, I hope she'll love it."
Cherri kicked the front door open. "Sup bitches?" She smiled widely then trotted her way inside.
Husker pursed his lips at her entrance and Angel rolled his eyes.
"Did you cunts do this for little ol' me?" Cherri glanced around the lobby then focused on Charlie in front of her. She was twinkling. "Uh... are you about to explode in glitter or some shit?"
Charlie squealed. "I'm so happy you're here!" She ran up to Cherri and hugged her tightly.
Cherri shot a look to Angel who just smiled with a shrug. "Uh, thanks?" Charlie released her. "I figured I may as well give it an honest go. Since..." she trailed off, her eye looking away.
Charlie put a hand on her shoulder, causing the cyclops to look at her. "Don't worry. You'll see him again." She smiled.
Alastor watched their interaction. There was that damn tug in his chest again. He huffed and looked away.
Husker had caught Alastor's reaction. He eyed him curiously.
"Come on! I made you a cake!" Charlie locked arms with Cherri and dragged her towards the kitchen.
Angel sighed, his hand stretching out to grab Husker's. The cat demon turned his attention to him.
"We'll get there." Husker squeezed his hand.
Alastor eyed the two of them before turning and making his way to the kitchen.
Charlie felt a deep uneasiness well up inside her. The morning and afternoon had went without so much as a stubbed toe or broken dish. Cherri settled into her room next to Angel, which she was sure she would regret once she found out how intimate Angel and Husker were. She shuddered at the thought. She was happy for them, truly, but it wasn't something she'd like to hear again at two in the morning while getting a midnight snack.
She paced in the office, hands behind her back. The feeling growing heavier by the hour. She couldn't shake it, whatever it was.
Knock knock~
Charlie looked over at the open office door to see her father standing there. "Dad?"
Lucifer smiled as he lowered his hand back to his side. Then he made his way inside, shutting the door behind him. "Everything okay, sweetie?"
"I... think so?" Charlie sighed then leaned back against her desk, the palms of her hands gripping the edge.
"Hmm." Lucifer walked over to stand beside her, leaning back against the desk too. "I'm a good listener." He smiled.
Charlie stared down at the floor. "I can't shake this feeling I have... this absolute dread." Her eyes looked over at her dad. "Like something bad is coming."
Lucifer tilted his head to the side as he listened. "Did something happen?" He asked.
"No," Charlie said then looked back down at the floor. "Everything's great. The hotel is good, we got a new guest, Alastor and I have gotten closer... but I'm worried."
Lucifer narrowed his eyes at the last couple parts. "Worried how?" A brief pause. "And how close...?"
Charlie paused. She hadnt told her father yet. Shit. Her eyes looked over to him. She watched his face turn from confusion to anger. "Dad-"
"Please tell me you're joking, Charlotte."
Charlie grimaced. "Alastor and I... are in a relationship."
Lucifer just stared at her. "W-Why are you worried?" He pushed his hatred aside for that awful man to focus on his little girl first. Then he'd kill him.
"I... made a deal with Alastor and I'm worried how he's going to use it."
Before anymore words were said, Lucifer pushed off the desk and walked right out of the room.
Oh no.
Charlie pushed off the desk, running after her father. "Dad!" She grabbed his arm and he turned to her, his eyes completely red.
"I will NOT tolerate some low grade scum of the earth sinner to hold anything above your head." Lucifer almost growled.
"Stop." Charlie put her hands on his shoulders. "I trust him. I really do. It's just... hard not to think about when I feel like something bad is coming. But it's probably just me being paranoid."
Lucifer took her hands in his as he eyed her. "Understand this, Charlie." He started. "You are more powerful than anyone in this hotel. Hell, you may be more powerful than your mother or I."
Charlie's lips parted as she listened. More powerful?
"You inherited parts from the both of us." Lucifer placed his hand against her heart. "Don't you ever think for one second that you can't handle anything thrown at you." He smiled a bit.
"Oh, dad." Charlie wrapped her arms around him and he hugged her back.
"I love you, more than anything." Lucifer rubbed her back gently. "But if he ever hurts you, I'll fucking kill him."
Charlie smiled.

Lucifer left shortly after his conversation with Charlie. The rest of the patrons had decided to go out to welcome Cherri to the hotel. The looming dread that stirred unsettled in Charlie's gut had mostly drained her. She insisted the others go have fun so she could get an early night.
She waved everyone goodbye then made her way up the stairs to her room. She hadnt seen Alastor all day. Husker had briefly mentioned that he saw him slip out shortly after Cherri arrived. She sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose. Alastor could take care of himself, there was no point worrying about it. But this damn feeling...
Charlie entered her room, shutting the door behind her. She lazily removed her pants, then her blazer and her shirt. The bra was the next thing off before she rummaged through her drawer for pajamas. She settled on the black silk night dress. She held it up, thinking back to when Alastor helped put it on her when she was in a drunken state. Her face flushed. She slipped the thigh length night gown on then crawled into bed. Sooooo soft. She laid her head on her pillow, noticing the sunset in the window. She sighed softly then closed her eyes.
Eeeeerrrrr reetttttch~
Charlie shot up in her bed. The room was surrounded by darkness now. Her breathing was heavy as she scanned her room. The rapid beats of her heart making it hard for her to catch her breath. Her eyes settled on the dark corner of her room. The hairs on the back of her neck rising. She felt... like someone was next to her.
She slowly turned her face to the left. Her eyes looked passed the window to the corner of her room; beside her end table and her bed, and her. Her red eyes gradually looked up into those glowing radio dials looming down at her from the dark corner of her room. He wasn't much bigger than his regular height; his smile sharp and glowing red symbols flowing freely around him.
"Charlie..." Alastor said, his voice mixed with heavy static.
Run.
Charlie kept her eyes locked on his as she calmly moved to the other side of the bed. She slipped out of her bed, feet touching the floor.
Alastor pushed gently off the wall, climbing onto the edge of the bed towards her.
The moment he moved, Charlie turned and ran to her door. She flung it open quickly and bolted out of the room, without looking back.
Alastor began to laugh. The booming static of his voice echoing through the hotel.
Charlie turned the corner in the hallway toward the lobby. Her eyes spotted the stairs when she felt a hand grip her wrist. She gasped as she was quickly pushed against the bannister overlooking the lobby. The railing pushed her into stomach as her eyes widened at the lobby below her.
Alastor tutted in her ear, leaning his body against her back so her chest was hovering more over the railing. "You should know better than to run from me, darling." His lips brushing against her neck. "I'll always catch you." He smiled.
She gasped when he flipped her around. Their eyes met, and she could see he was back to his normal appearance. Her legs locked around his hips when she felt him lift her up by her thighs to set her ass down on the railing. Her hands gripped the front of his jacket, her eyes widening. She shot a look behind her at the drop to the lobby tiles below her before looking back at him.
Alastor hummed in approval before leaning in close to her ear. "I love your face when you're scared..." He murmured.
"Al." Charlie breathed, her heart racing. He wouldn't drop her, would he?
Alastor peppered slow kisses along her neck, up her jawline, up her chin then stopped before her lips. "Better hold on, darling..."
Her right hand let go of him and went up to drape around his neck, gripping the shoulder of his jacket. She felt his hand release her thigh and she let out a soft gasp, but he held her securely on the railing.
"What if someone sees?" Charlie managed to say as he ripped her underwear off with his claw, getting a yelp from the princess.
Alastor smirked, his lips just barely touching hers. "Let them." He said darkly. His hand unbuttoning his pants to push them down slightly. "Let them see who you belong to." His lips crushed against hers, his hand pushing his hard cock inside of her. His hand going back to her thigh, gripping her tightly.
Charlie's gasp was lost in the kiss. Every single one of her senses was overloaded. She held onto him for dear life; tongues swirling together in a heated passion.
He pulled their mouths apart, a rope of saliva breaking between them. "Ngk. Charlie..." He groaned, not bring gentle as he took her on the railing.
"Ah- Al..." Charlie moaned, her head tilting slightly back.
Alastor lifted his hand off her thigh and gripped her neck, causing her eyes to look at him. He smiled at the fear that consumed her eyes again. Then he paused, just briefly, when he saw the fear vanish. His smile grew wider. Oh, her trust in him was such a sweet thing... almost too sweet.
"Al..." Charlie moaned. "P-Please don't stop." She begged, her breathing ragged.
He pulled her towards him by her neck, his lips catching hers. His hand slid from her neck to the back of her head, gripping her hair. He broke the kiss.
"Fall apart for me..." He whispered against her lips.
Charlie wasn't prepared for what happened next. Her entire body gave into him. She felt herself clench around him, hearing a guttural groan rise in his throat. She gasped as she came.
"Unh, C-Charlie..." Alastor gripped her, causing his claws to puncture the skin on her thigh. His hand knotted tightly in her hair; He followed right behind her, coming as deep inside her as he could possibly go.
She trembled in his arms, her breathing uneven as she panted hot breaths against his lips.
Alastor smirked. "Good girl..." He breathed.
Charlie awoke in her bed the next morning. Her eyes fluttered open to stare up at her ceiling.
The feeling. It was still there.
She felt her breath catch in her throat. Then she sprung into a sitting position.
"Charlie?"
Her eyes shot over to Alastor, sitting next to her on the bed with a book. Still in his complete suit. She paused. He actually stayed. He didn't leave before she woke up.
Alastor smiled at her startled expression. "Hmm. I quite like this face." He leaned in closer to her. "Are you surprised, my darling?"
Charlie couldn't help but pinch herself. He eyed her curiously before she waved her hands in the air. "The dreams I've had... I needed to make sure I'm actually awake."
He hummed before pulling her into a gentle kiss. She relaxed the moment she felt his hand slide up to rest against the side of her neck. He pulled away and she let out a soft whimper.
"Tell me what frightened you."
Charlie locked eyes with him. "I just feel... like something bad is about to happen."
"How so?"
"It's a deep sense of... dread." Charlie put a hand to her chest, maroon eyes following her movement. "It feels so... thick. Like I'm drowning in quick sand."
Alastor grabbed her hand in his. "Charlie. How long have you been feeling this?"
Charlie eyed him. "Um, since yesterday?"
Then she saw it. His mask fell.
She watched the very well put together radio demon's mask crumble in front of her. He looked... scared and very worried.
"Alastor...?" Charlie stared in disbelief.
Alastor locked eyes with her. Something in his gaze told her everything she needed to know. The dread she was feeling was very real, and whatever it was... it rattled him too.

"Al?"
Alastor focused back on Charlie. Almost as quickly as he dropped it, he resumed his normal guise. "My apologizes," He grabbed her hands in his. "It just pains me to hear that you feel this way."
Charlie eyed him. "Yeah..." Something was off.
Alastor got off of the bed then looked at Charlie. "I have some business to attend to. I'll come see you this evening." He walked to the door.
"Al-" Charlie watched him open the door then walk right out it. She stared at the now closed door.
"Oh fuck no." She whipped the bed sheets off, scrambling off the bed. She quickly slid her pants on and her shirt. She wasn't very presentable but it was better than walking naked down the hallway.
Charlie flung the door open and stormed down the hall after him. She stopped at the top of the stairs, eyeing the lobby below.
He was gone already.
She scoffed to herself. The feeling was getting worse...
She watched Cherri, Angel and Husk at the bar chatting while Niffty zoomed around dusting.
Something or... someone was coming. And she had a bad feeling that Alastor knew exactly who it was. She couldn't get the image of his face out of her head. He was scared. What could scare him that much to break his mask? She sighed heavily then headed back to her room. Whatever it was, she wouldn't let it bully her or invade her thoughts. She entered her room and proceeded to get properly ready for the day, starting off with a hot shower.
Alastor hadn't left the hotel all day. He locked himself away in his room, pacing back and forth. He mumbled to himself as his hands gripped together behind his back.
Now that everything was finally coming into play, he felt... scared? Preposterous! He stopped in his tracks. He wasn't scared of anyone, nor demon or angel. He may of lost to Adam but he still stood his ground. The fucking bafoon that man was anyway... He scoffed then sat down in his chair.
Charlie.
Alastor's face softened for a moment. It was time to end this whole facade. He'd be done with this ridiculous hotel, and it's worthless sinners. Finally, he'd be free of that... sparkling, dazzling, princess. He narrowed his eyes at the mental picture of her.
"Ridiculous!" He pulled himself up out of the chair, shooing the image away. He continued to pace, absolutely maniac.
Ba-dum~
Alastor paused. His hand went out to press against the wall as his other hand lifted to grip his chest. He glared, focused on the floor. No, he was so close. He couldn't let these silly little feelings invade his end goal. He dropped his hand from the wall.
This would all end.
Do you really want it to end?
He'd finally be free. He'd have his full strength back to devour every worthless wretch that dared to test him.
But...
Alastor narrowed his eyes.
You love her.
He lifted his hand to his face, sliding it up and into his hair. Love? Charlie? The words didn't feel real to him. Like one of Charlie's dreams, it wasn't solid. He leaned his back against the wall. He remembered the words escaping her lips that night. How easily she said she loved him while asleep... His eyes softened as he stared at the wall in front of him. That couldn't be what this was right? Love was a foreign affection for him. The only person he truly loved was his mother but others? He couldn't seem to quite grasp that in his mortal life or his afterlife.
Alastor scoffed to himself. Why would it matter anyway? After everything is over, she would never want to see him again. Once she was used for her intended purpose, he'd be free and he'd leave this place. Forever.
The day... had been a day. Charlie tried to pre-occupy herself with the residents and little things she had to do around the hotel. But it felt quiet. She hadnt seen Alastor since this morning. And what had caused him to react that way?
"Char?"
Charlie turned her attention to Angel who was staring at her from the bar. Along with Husker. "Hm?"
"Uh, well, you're just standing there... in the middle of the lobby, making these weird faces." Angel eyed her curiously. "Is it about Smiles?"
Charlie sighed. She decided it was best to just avoid the conversation. "No, I'm just... tired." She rubbed her neck. "I'll see you guys in the morning."
Angel and Husker watched her walk up the stairs and disappear down the hallway.
"This isn't over yet."
Angel looked over at Husker. "Wha-" Then he paused. "Do you... know what's going on?"
Husker looked at Angel. "You said Charlie has us, right?"
Angel nodded slowly at him, not quite understanding why he was bringing it up.
"Well, it seems like we're going to have to cash that in sooner than later." Husker picked up his bottle and chugged it back.
Angel eyed Husker then looked back over at the stairs where Charlie had disappeared to.
Alastor was flung across the hotel lobby, his body rolling until he stopped on his stomach. Blood pooled on the tile underneath him. He gasped, blood splattered from his mouth down to the floor. He rolled himself onto his back.
"Al!" Charlie ran over and knelt down beside him. She frantically ran her hands along his chest. The multiple gashes all over him causing the once beige tile to turn crimson.
"Charlie..." Alastor breathed, no static in his voice.
"Shh, shh..." Charlie hushed him, tears filling her eyes. "Don't speak, okay? I'll... I'll fix you." She broke slightly at the end.
Alastor raised his bloody hand to place it on her cheek. "I'll miss... you fussing over me..." He smiled weakly.
"No, Alastor." Charlie sobbed, her hand going up to grip his on her cheek. "I can save you. Please... hold on."
"Charlie."
Charlie felt her breathing hitch and someone touch her shoulder.
"Charlie?"
Charlie's eyes shot open to see Alastor hovering over her.
A dream.
That dream felt too real, but how could that be?
"Al..." Charlie breathed, a tear slipping down her face.
"Are you all right?" Alastor asked, worry in his eyes.
Charlie tried to focus on him. "Yes, uh... I'm fine. It was..." She swallowed. "A nightmare."
Alastor sat down on the edge of the bed beside her and gathered her hands in his. "Was it... me?"
"You..." Charlie breathed, still trying to focus on him in front of her but the dream kept tugging her back. "You were... bleeding, a lot." She almost choked. "There was so much blood..."
Alastor eyed her curiously then his face softened. "Not to worry, darling." His hand came up to cup the side of her face. "Dreams aren't solid, remember?" And he would never let himself get that injured. Balderdash.
Charlie just stared at him. No, this dream felt too real. She could remember the feel of his blood against her fingertips and the sound of his voice... Another tear slid down her face. "I don't want to lose you..."
Alastor paused.
"I... I need to tell you something." She pushed herself into a sitting position.
Maroon eyes locked on hers.
Don't say it, Charlie...
"I..." Charlie's eyes searched his. "I love you." She finally admitted.
Ba-dum~
Alastor felt his chest constrict and something inside cracked. He stared at her, his smile faltering for a moment.
Charlie watched him, letting him process what she said.
"Say it again."
"I love you."
"Again."
"I lov-"
Before she could, he crashed his lips against hers. The eagerness in him tugging in his chest. He pulled her up and onto his lap, her legs wrapping around his waist. He snaked his hand into her hair while the other held her waist against him.
Alastor parted their lips to look into her eyes. His eyes flickered from each of hers, conflicted.
Charlie cupped his face gently in her hands. "I love you." She said softly again. "And I don't expect you to say it back. I just... needed you to know."
His brows furrowed as he watched the princess of Hell confess her love for him, fully awake this time. "I already knew."
Charlie paused. "How?"
Alastor lifted his hand to push some hair out of her face. "You're quite talkative when you sleep." He smiled.
She smiled then wrapped her arms around his neck, her face burying in the nape of his neck. He paused for a moment then held her closer to him.
"Stay with me..." She breathed.
Alastor's hand went up to caress the back of her head, his eyes focusing on the wall in front of him. "As long as I'm welcome... I'll stay."

Over the next couple days, Alastor noticed Charlie becoming less enthusiastic towards the hotel and its patrons. He watched her slouch on the couch in the parlor from his seat at the bar. Her colorful plans spread out on the coffee table. The poor girl looked absolutely defeated.
"Sheesh, have you been letting her sleep at all?"
Alastor glanced over at Angel sitting in his usual spot at the bar. Cherri beside him. "Hmm." He looked back over at Charlie, who was now rubbing her face with her hands. "She's been having nightmares."
"Well, sounds like she needs a good R !" Cherri stated.
Alastor narrowed his eyes as he thought. "That actually... isn't a bad idea!" He smiled over at Cherri. "Good job!" He got up abruptly and made his way over to Charlie.
Cherri pursed her lips and nodded at Alastor as he walked away.
Angel just watched him, wide eyed. "Uh..." He glanced over at Husker. "Was he... being nice?"
Husker shrugged. "You can never tell, can ya?"
"Darling?"
Charlie removed her hands from her face to look at Alastor above her. "Oh, hey Al." She said softly.
Alastor sat down next to her on the couch, causing her to sit straight up as he grabbed her hands in his. "I was wondering if I could interest you to a relaxing night... with me, tonight."
Charlie smiled at him. "Are you asking me on a date, Al?" She cooed, some color returning to her already rosy cheeks.
"I am." Alastor smiled. "I believe our last one was interrupted. This time, it will not be."
Charlie eyed him. "How can you be so sure of that?"
"Don't worry about that, dearest." Alastor said as he released her hands. "Meet me in the kitchen early this evening." He stood from the couch.
Charlie watched him leave the parlor, the heat in her cheeks tingling. She smiled then looked down at her hands.
"Well, well, aren't you just the charmer." Angel eyed Alastor with a smirk when he returned to the bar.
Alastor looked at Angel. "I suggest everyone here has something to do later." His eyes glanced over at Cherri then to Husker.
"Oh, fuck yeah!" Cherri said. "Let's go get hammered, yeah?" She pulled at Angel's arm then looked at Husker.
"Eh, booze is booze wherever you go." Husker said.
Angel leaned a bit closer to Alastor, his brow up. "What time, uh... should we come home?" He asked. "So we don't interrupt?" He smirked.
Alastor just stared at him, his smile pressed thin. "Angel, dear..." Angel's other brow went up at the term of affection. "You're a grown man that works in the adult film industry... I'm sure you can figure it out for yourself." He stated then turned and walked to the front door.
Cherri burst into laughter.
Angel looked over at Husker, both eyebrows still raised. "Did he just call me dear?"
Husker pursed his lips at Angel. "Out of that whole sentence, that's what you took from it?"
Angel shrugged. "It's rare for him to be nice to me." He stated. "And that was definitely nice. To a point, I guess."
"Hmm." Husker glanced over at Charlie who looked happier than she was minutes ago. "Yeah, nice..."
Charlie had tried to keep herself in a good mood all day but it proved to be more difficult that she thought. Office hours had ended and she retired to her room before she had to meet Alastor in the kitchen.
She eyed herself in her bathroom mirror as she brushed her hair. She didn't look as bad as she felt, which was a bonus since she felt like walking garbage. She sighed heavily then went to tie her hair back but decided against it. Since it was supposed to be a relaxing night, a pair of shorts and a tank top would suffice.
Charlie wandered down the hallway from her room then down the stairs to the lobby. It was eerily quiet in the hotel with everyone gone. Alastor must of scared everyone away for tonight. She chuckled to herself as she got to the bottom of the stairs. Turning, she headed down the hallway to the kitchen. She heard some pots and pans, then utensils being shuffled around the kitchen. She pushed the door open.
Alastor's ears perked up then he turned to look at her. His jacket was draped over the chair next to the table. The sleeves of his shirt rolled up to his elbows. "Ah, right on time." He smiled as he set the pan he was holding on the stove.
She smiled widely at him as she walked in. She stood next to him, looking at the stove then all the ingredients on the counter. "What are you making?" She asked.
"We." Alastor corrected.
Charlie looked up at him. "You want me to help you make dinner?"
"No no." Alastor said then gripped her by the chin. "We are going to make dinner. Together." He smiled. "So relax." With a wave of his hand, a glass of red wine appeared beside her on the counter. He released her then put his hands behind his back.
Charlie lightly blushed before turning to look at the wine glass. She picked it up and took a sip. "Mmmm, this is excellent." She eyed it then him.
Alastor smirked. "Of course it is." He said. "Now," He pulled a cutting board out from the cupboard. "Tonight, we're making gumbo."
She watched him unpackage the sausage and set it on the cutting board. He pulled a chef's knife out of the knife block. He carefully gripped the blade and handed it to her. Her eyes widened as she took the handle, looking at him.
"Come here." He smiled then pulled her in front of him. He wrapped his arms around her from behind, his hand going to hers to help her grip the knife properly. "Hold it like this..." He breathed into her ear, which sent shivers down her spine. "Don't cut off those pretty little fingers now."
Charlie blushed. All he was doing was showing her how to hold a knife and prep food but... he was so close. His scent devouring her senses.
"Darling?"
"S-Sorry." Charlie said as she jerked herself from her thoughts. She began to slice the sausage on the cutting board. Once he was satisfied, he hummed and pulled away from her. She finished and set the knife down, looking over at him in front of the stove.
"What're you doing?"
Alastor stirred the ingredients in the pot as it cooked. "Making a roux." He glanced at her then nodded at the cutting board. "Chop chop, little lamb."
Charlie looked down at the vegetables around the cutting board. She picked up the onion and began to carefully dice it.
After a while, Alastor began to hum a song. The radio on the counter magically turning on, staticy as it searched for the right station. Light jazz began to play in the background.
"That's lovely..." Charlie said as she moved on from cutting the onion to the bell pepper.
Alastor glanced over at her as he continued to hum. His eyes trailed down from her face to her ass then he paused. He tore his eyes away to look back at the roux.
Charlie finished cutting all the vegetables. "All done."
"Excellent! Bring me the sausage, dear."
Charlie put the sausage in a bowl and walked over to him. She eyed the golden paste in the pot and scrunched her nose. "What is that?"
Alastor chuckled. "Trust the process, darling." He took the sausage from her and dumped it onto the hot pan beside him. "Would you be a doll and stir that for me?"
Charlie stood beside him. She picked up the wooden spoon to stir the sausage around in the pan.
"Just til it's browned, please."
Charlie picked up her wine glass and took a sip. She glanced over at Alastor then set the wine glass back down on the counter. She scooped the sausage onto a plate once it was lightly browned and set it aside.
"Watch yourself." Alastor said as he poured some chicken broth slowly into the hot pan that held the sausage. He stirred it for a minute or two then picked up the pan, pouring it into the bigger pot with the roux. Then added more chicken broth. "Vegetables, please."
Charlie walked over and grabbed the bowl of vegetables. She handed them to him but instead, he moved.
"Go ahead." He smiled, picking up his own wine glass. "Be careful, it'll bite you." His smile turned into a smirk before he raised his glass to his lips.
Charlie slowly added the vegetables to the pot then the spices Alastor had on the counter next to it. She picked up the spoon and stirred it slowly. She inhaled the smell and moaned softly. "That smells delicious..."
"Mhm..." Alastor was behind her now, his face hovering over her neck. "Yes, it does..."
Charlie paused, the blush growing on her face again. "W-whats next?"
Alastor began to place soft kisses on her neck. "We wait..." He breathed. "Keep stirring..." He mumbled as the kisses got slower.
She swallowed but did as she was instructed. After a while, he pulled away from her causing her to slightly whimper at the loss of his touch.
"Almost done." Alastor picked up a spoon from the counter and skimmed the white foam off the top of the bubbling liquid. He set the spoon into the sink and grabbed the Cajun seasoning. He sprinkled it in then set it back on the counter. "Mmm, perfect." He mumbled. "The meat please, darling." He nodded to the bowl of assorted meats; browned sausage, cooked chicken pieces and cooked shrimp.
Charlie grabbed the bowl and again handed it to him but he just smiled. She smiled back then slowly dumped the meats into the pot. She stirred it as he leaned over and set the stove on low heat.
"Now what?"
"Now we eat."
Charlie turned to look at him. But he wasn't grabbing bowls, he was staring at her.
Alastor grabbed her hand gently causing her to release the wooden spoon in her hand. He moved her away from the stove then pulled her flush against him. His mouth found hers easily, letting a groan escape his lips as he tasted her. He backed her up into the kitchen table then laid her down on it. He broke the kiss then lifted himself away from her.
Charlie watched him pull her shorts and panties off. Then he knelt down in front of her. Her face turned bright red. "But what about dinner?"
Maroon eyes locked with hers, a wicked grin on his face. "Bon Appétit."

Chapter Summary
A sturdy table & pesky feelings
Chapter Notes
See the end of the chapter for more notes
Alastor slid his tongue up along her thigh, feeling her tremble softly at his touch. He paused a moment, mouth hovering over her tender flesh.
Charlie held her breath, waiting for him to move.
He bit down on her thigh. She gasped at the pain, digging her nails into the table. Though the pain ended fairly quickly when he began to soothe it with his mouth. The wound was barely enough to wet his lips.
"Al..." Charlie panted.
With hesitation, Alastor pulled himself away from his mark. His lips brushing against her skin as he moved up her thigh. He leisurely glided up her pussy with his long tongue, flicking her clit at the end.
"A-Al..." Charlie gasped, her head tilting back onto the table.
Alastor smirked as he repeated the motion. He groaned when she drenched his tongue with her arousal. He kept sliding his tongue up and down haltingly, earning more and more moans from his demon belle. He closed his mouth over her, lapping up her cum then snaked his tongue inside her.
Charlie arched her back on the table, her nails making divets into the wood as she gasped.
Alastor hummed against her, causing her to jolt in pleasure at the vibration.
"Alastor..." Charlie moaned loudly.
He gently pulled away, causing her to whimper and pout. He smirked at her, his tongue sliding along his bottom lip. So sweet.
"Oh, don't pout..." Alastor said as he stood to hover over her on the table, settling between her legs. "You know I like that face and I would tease you forever..."
He grabbed the edge of her shirt, pulling it off over her head. He dropped it to the floor before unbuttoning his pants.
Charlie stared up at him, her lips now parted.
Alastor placed one of his hands beside either side of her head, leaning over her. "See... didn't I tell you that you'd learn?" He smirked.
She blushed a deep red. She didn't respond; instead, she closed the distance between them and pressed her lips against his. She felt him inhale a sharp breath at the sudden action. He met her lips back with the same eagerness. His hand trailing down into his boxers, pulling his cock out of his pants. He gradually slipped himself inside her.
Alastor felt her moan into the kiss, causing him to shudder at the sound. Pushing himself almost flush against her, he broke the kiss to move down her jawline, then down her neck. He groaned, holding her down on the table so he could fuck her hard and proper.
"Ah- Al-Alastor." Charlie panted, her hands grasping his forearms.
He bit down on her shoulder, an inch away from her healing bite mark. She flinched but soon settled. She let out a soft moan when he began suck on the wound.
Alastor groaned against her skin. "F-Fuck Charlie..." He pulled his mouth away from her new mark. His lips found hers in a feverish daze.
Charlie let out a soft whimper into the kiss when he began to thrust faster. Blood mixing with saliva as his hand found his way into her hair, holding her in place. He broke the kiss, just barely.
"Unh... my dear sweet Charlie..." Alastor panted. "H-Hell, you feel... unh..." His mouth kissed the corner of her mouth, then down her neck. "Your taste..." He almost groaned as his tongue slid along the blood droplets forming on her fresh wound.
Charlie gripped his back, her heart racing. She listened as the radio demon fell apart, for her this time. "Alastor..." She whispered near his ear.
"Ah, f-fuck Charlie... I-" Alastor murmured into her neck. He couldn't fight it; that voice, saying his name... always drove him over the edge. "I l-" He cut himself off as pushed himself deep inside her.
He groaned loudly as he came which caused her to clench around him, following him into divine bliss. They both trembled for a moment, unmoving from their positions.
"Al...?"
Alastor lifted his head from her neck to look down at her. His brows furrowed as he took a mental image of her below him. Her blond hair sprawled out on the wooden table, that smile... and those eyes.
Was he about to say...? No, he couldn't of.
Charlie stared up at him, watching his eyes flicker through emotions. She waited, patiently.
"Are... you hungry?" He managed to say at last.
She smiled at his question. "Famished."
Alastor smirked then lifted himself off her. He pulled her into a sitting position on the table then his hands picked her up by the waist to set her feet back on the floor. "Here," He snapped his fingers; they were both dressed, the table looked brand new and she had her wine glass in her hand.
"Relax." He gently grabbed her shoulders and sat her down in the chair at the table. He kissed her forehead then walked back over to the stove.
Charlie watched him with a smile. She brought the wine glass to her lips.
The hotel remained empty throughout the dinner. It seemed Angel took the hint to stay out longer than a couple hours. Alastor and Charlie had made their way to his room, and up to his broadcast tower. Along with their third bottle of wine.
"Wow, you can see the whole pride ring from here!" Charlie said as she looked out the large windows surrounding the broadcast room.
Alastor smirked as he sat down in his chair in front of his console. "I had a similar setup, when I was alive." He took a swig of the bottle of wine then lowered it to rest on his lap.
Charlie looked back at him. "Did it look like the bayou you have downstairs?"
"Yes." Alastor nodded then sighed. "Closest thing I have to home is my memories." He paused, as if lost in thought, then took another drink of wine.
"What's your favorite memory?" Charlie asked as she walked over to him.
Alastor pulled her onto his lap, which made her giggle. He smiled as he passed her the bottle, his arm going around her back to hold her on him. "I'd have to say... my mother."
"What was she like?"
"A beautiful soul." Alastor frowned for a second before smiling again. "The crazy woman used to feed the gators around our property." He shook his head.
Charlie hadn't known Earth other than the stories, but the way he smiled and reminisced... she felt like she was there with him. She took a drink of the wine.
Alastor looked at her face. "She would of liked you, I think." He said softly, solemnly.
"Maybe you'll see her again someday."
Alastor narrowed his eyes then looked away. His ears flattening for a second. "I doubt that."
Charlie turned his face to hers. "Don't doubt what I can do." She said. "Even if it takes all of eternity, I'll save you."
Alastor paused. He stared into her eyes for a long moment before something finally clicked. But not in a way that would be expected, for him anyway.
"Charlie."
"Hmm?"
"I meant what I said before. I can't be redeemed."
Charlie eyed him. "What do you mean you can't...?"
Alastor never broke eye contact. His smile thin. "Because it's not who I am, dearest."
"People can become better, Al..." Charlie brushed some of his hair back with her hand. His ears flattened.
"I can't." Alastor stated.
"But-"
"Charlie!"
Charlie froze, her hand slowly lowering from his head as her eyes shot to his.
Alastor glared at her, his mouth twisted up into a toothy snarl. "I will never, ever, go to Heaven." He almost spat.
Charlie just stared at him. Never flinching, not once. She watched as his eyes slowly softened.
"I couldn't leave you behind..."
Charlie's bottom lip began to quiver, tears swelling in her eyes. She flung her arms around his neck and sobbed into his shoulder, her hand still gripping the wine bottle.
Alastor began to rub her back as he cooed softly into her ear. "Don't cry. It's all right." He managed to pull her off to look him in the face. He cupped her face with his hands and wiped the tears away with his thumbs.
"Does it make you this upset? The thought of me staying with you forever?"
"No," Charlie couldn't help but laugh a bit. "I'm not upset. I'm happy." She smiled at him, sniffling.
Alastor just stared at her.
"I love you." Charlie poked the tip of his nose with a smile. "You make me happy."
He looked conflicted as he stared at her. He opened his mouth to speak but paused.
Charlie put four fingers to his mouth. "We have forever." She said softly.
Alastor's brows furrowed at her.
Forever.
Unfortunately for Charlie, forever was ending sooner than she anticipated.

A soft humming.
Charlie opened her eyes slowly. She felt claws gingerly caress her scalp then thread through her hair on repeat.
"You didn't have to stay..."
"Mmm, I know." Alastor said, his hand continuing the motion.
Charlie turned her head to look up at him. He was sitting against the headboard, legs out stretched, with her head cradled on his lap. "I don't remember falling asleep..."
Alastor smiled at her. "You fell asleep in my broadcast room. I carried you to bed."
"Thank you." Charlie smiled. He seemed different this morning. Nothing too noticeable but... it was more of a feeling.
Alastor kept humming gently as he trailed through her hair. "What's on the agenda today?" He asked.
Charlie shrugged. "The usual, I guess." She yawned, snuggling into his lap with her eyes closed.
His eyes softened when she stopped looking at him. He was completely and utterly torn. Today was going to be more than just usual... and he wasn't sure if he was prepare for the outcome. "How about breakfast to start?"
"Oooouu, that sounds good." Charlie sat up to look at him, a wide smile on her face.
Alastor smiled. "Get dressed and meet me in the kitchen. " He leaned in and kissed her on the forehead. His lips lingering against her for a moment too long before pulling away.
Charlie eyed him for a second but brushed it off. She climbed out of bed and proceeded to get dressed.
He pulled himself out of the bed, watching her fumble around her dresser drawers for clothes for the day. The corner of his mouth twitched briefly before he turned and headed out the bedroom door.
"That's what I said!" Cherri laughed. She sat on a couch in the parlor with Husker, Angel and Niffty.
"Hey Al!" Angel waved from the couch as Alastor made his way down the stairs.
Alastor glanced at Angel before making his way down the hall to the kitchen.
"Sheesh, someone's in a mood." Angel eyed him then looked at Husker. "I suppose you know why too huh?"
Husker eyed Angel. "No. Why would I?"
Angel scoffed then turned away from him.
"What's going on?" Cherri asked, only semi interested.
"Husk knows what Al's issue is and he won't tell me."
"Can't." Husker corrected.
Cherri shrugged. "Angie, you should know this shit already. Being in the same situation." She motioned to her neck.
Angel sighed. "I know... I'm sorry." He looked over at Husker.
Husker smiled a bit but it faded quickly. "I would if I could.. " He looked up to see Charlie coming down the stairs.
"Good morninggg." Charlie sing-songed, her hands clasping together. "Are we ready for a super fun day today?" She smiled.
"Oh, yeah, super fun. Is Al making breakfast?" Angel asked.
Charlie eyed Angel. "Yes."
"Just for yous or..."
Charlie pursed her lips. "Let me go talk to him." She smiled at everyone then made her way to the kitchen.
"Careful! He's grumpy!" Angel shouted at her as she walked away.
Charlie pushed the door to the kitchen open. The smell of bacon immediately hitting her. "Oh my Hell, that smells amazingggggg."
Alastor stood in front of the stove. He had just finished making a large breakfast, enough for everyone.
"Awww." She walked over to him.
Alastor turned to look at her.
"You're being nice." Charlie smiled as she stood beside him.
His eyes narrowed. "I'm not-"
"Nice." Charlie finished with a smile. "I know."
Alastor just stared at her. "I... thought it would be... pleasant. Everyone dining together." He looked away from her, focusing on the pan on the stove.
Charlie eyed him. "Hm... it would be pleasant."
He finished the last bits of bacon and set them on the plate. He turned the element off then turned to Charlie. Eyes locking with hers.
There it was. Charlie would never of seen it before. She had got closer to Alastor, and figured out how to read him. The slight movements of his eyes and face, and the flash of emotion in that deep maroon.
Alastor watched Charlie's face turn from calm to distressed. He looked visibly concerned. "Charlie?"
"You know..." Charlie said softly.
He just stared at her. He waited for her to continue.
"You know what's coming. Why I feel this... this heaviness." Charlie said, her hand hovering over her chest.
Alastor froze. How did she...?
"Tell me what it is, Alastor."
Alastor stared at her. "How-"
"I'm not an idiot!" Charlie snapped. "I know you. It's all in your damn eyes."
Don't tell her.
"Charlie, I-"
Charlie's eyes softened, her bottom lip twitched a bit. She knew he was about to bend the truth, again. Had he been the whole time?
The face she made caused him to make a split second decision. He didn't even have time to think about what he was going to say.
"I made a deal."
Charlie just stared at him. "I'm sorry... what?" She processed for a second. "You... made a deal?" She asked.
Alastor nodded, his eyes on hers.
"When...?"
"The day I met you."
Charlie paused. "With... who?"
Alastor just stared at her. His mouth pressed in a thin smile.
Charlie searched his face. He may of been good at hiding his true face for others but she could see the devil in the details. She already knew he wouldn't be able to say very much about his deal. She inhaled a breath.
"Is something bad happening today?"
Alastor's eyes softened. "Breakfast is getting cold, darling..."
Charlie couldn't figure out what emotion to use. She frowned a bit, causing Alastor's ears to flatten. "Was..."
Alastor could see the tears slowly form in her eyes.
"Was this... real?" She asked.
Alastor immediately cupped her face in his hands. She gasped at his sudden action, her hands coming up to grip his wrists.
"Real." Alastor said. "This is real." He paused at his words.
Charlie's lips parted as she stared into his eyes.
Alastor captured her lips with his. She closed her eyes, her tears slipping down her face as she kissed him back.
"See! I told ya they'd be makin' out."
Charlie and Alastor both turned to look at the kitchen door. Husker, Angel and Cherri stood there.
Husker went to hand him the money from the bet but Angel shooed his hand away.
"Pay me back, later." Angel winked at Husker.
Charlie looked from them to Alastor.
"Well," Alastor smiled at them. "Let's eat."
Breakfast was the same it had always been: loud and chaotic. Charlie smiled at everyone laughing and enjoying their meals. Her eyes landed on Alastor, who was looking at her already. But no amusement laid behind them. She looked down at her plate, pushing the egg around with her fork.
Something was happening today. How could she sit here and enjoy food when her stomach did backflips? She sighed then picked up her coffee. Her eyes looked back up at Alastor. He was eyeing Angel as he described something pornographic to Cherri.
Alastor, the radio demon. Alastor, Charlie's boyfriend. Her eyes scanned his face as he looked continuing displeased with Angel's story. He made a deal a year ago, the day he showed up at the hotel. Was he forced to be here? Her eyes narrowed slightly at him.
As if hearing her thoughts, his maroon eyes shot to hers. Her breath caught in her throat. He smirked at her as he lifted his coffee to his lips.
He had manipulated her; twisted and flayed the barrier between the truth and a lie. But still... she loved him. She believed in him. Trusted him. Though, she couldn't help but wonder... If he wasn't deal-bonded, would he have told her? Would he... have come to the hotel at all?
Eventually, breakfast was over. Everyone had left the table except Alastor and Charlie. She stared down at the table, now bare in front of her.
"I know that face."
Charlie looked up at Alastor when he spoke. His eyes locked on hers, his smile thin. "Do you now?" She asked.
Alastor's smile widened, showing teeth. "It's the same face you made on the bannister." He tilted his head to the side as he eyed her. "The moment you decided to completely trust me."
Charlie's lips parted.
His eyes narrowed. "Don't you think for one second that I haven't been as observant as you, my dear."
"Then tell me what I just decided." Charlie stared at him, her face becoming serious.
Alastor pulled himself out of his chair. He rounded the table and walked over beside her. "You have decided..." He leaned down, noses almost touching. "To keep believing in me."
Charlie almost gasped. Her eyes widened a bit.
Alastor hummed. "You know I wasn't dishonest on purpose... and I-" He paused. "I need you."
"You... need me?" Charlie asked, hoping he'd clarify.
"I... think you can help me out of my... dilemma." Alastor sat down in the chair next to her. He gathered her hands in his. "I'm about ninety percent sure."
Charlie went to open her mouth but stopped herself. He wouldn't be able to tell her details about it, so asking how he knew wouldn't work either. "I'll help you any way I can." She said softly.
Alastor smiled at her. "I don't know what I did to deserve an angel like you in this hellscape." He kissed the top of her hand.

Husker seemed very uneasy as he stood at the bar. His eyes shifted around the hotel's lobby.
"What's ruffled your feathers?" Angel asked, leaning against the bar.
"Something... doesn't feel right." Husker's eyes flickered to Alastor and Charlie coming out from the kitchen hallway.
Charlie glanced over at Alastor before looking back towards the others. "Okay, now that we had a great breakfast..." She laced her hand together. "It's time to begin our exercises for today!"
Cherri pursed her lips but nodded. "All right. Let's do this!" She was determined to redeem herself.
Husker scanned everyone then settled on Alastor. His mouth went from a toothy smile to a strained thin line. He paused.
Knock knock~
Everyone turned to look at the front door.
"Oh! Maybe it's another guest!" Charlie skipped towards the door.
Alastor went to grab her hand, but stopped himself. His eyes glanced to Husker before settling back on Charlie.
"Oh shit..." Husker mumbled under his breath.
Charlie wondered who it could be. The door was open to anyone! No knocking required. She gripped the handle and opened the door. She immediately lost all the color in her face.
"M-Mom...?"
Lilith smiled down at Charlie. "Oh darling!" She wrapped her arms around Charlie in a hug. She pulled away to look at her. "My, still the same." She pinched her cheek then walked passed her into the lobby.
Charlie shut the door, her eyes still on her mother. "W...what?" She managed to say. She couldn't form words. Her eyes darted around to everyone.
Alastor just stared at Lilith, his hands behind his back.
Husker slunk down a bit as he eyed Lilith. Angel noticed then eyed the tall blond woman.
"Charlie, aren't you going to introduce me?" Lilith eyed the group then looked back at Charlie with a smile.
"Uh... y-yes." Charlie walked over to stand beside Lilith. She pointed to everyone one by one. "Cherri, Angel, Husker, Niffty and this is Alastor." Her eyes landed on his and she paused.
Alastor broke eye contact with Charlie to look at Lilith.
"Ah, Alastor." Lilith smiled. "I see you've made yourself quite comfortable, hm?"
Maroon eyes looked away from her. He stayed silent.
Charlie eyed him. "How do you know Al, mom?"
Lilith looked at Charlie. "Oh... he didn't tell you?" She glanced at Alastor. "Oh you cheeky man." She patted his chest with her hand. "You and your secrets."
Alastor removed Lilith's hand from his chest, his eyes going to Charlie.
Charlie searched Alastor's face then sighed softly to herself. Her eyes locked back on her mother's. "Were you the one that sent him here?"
Lilith smiled widely. "Oh," she looked at Alastor. "It seems you told her some things." She turned back to Charlie. "Yes." She answered.
"What's going on?" Angel asked, eyeing the scene in front of him suspiciously.
"Nothin' good..." Cherri mumbled, beside Angel.
Charlie couldn't look at Alastor. Her eyes remained on her mother. The woman who had been gone for seven years then randomly decided to show back up. "Why did you send him here?"
"To protect you. Watch over you." Lilith gently clasped her hands together, resting them against her thighs.
Charlie's eyes shifted to Alastor, his eyes locked on hers. She looked back at Lilith. "Why are you here?"
Husker was tense as he watched the scene unfold. His eyes shifting from Alastor to Charlie then to Lilith. Angel gripped his hand but it didn't relax him.
"Can't a mother come see her daughter?" Lilith cupped Charlie's face but Charlie pulled away. Her eyes narrowed. "Now Charlie... that's no way to act towards your mother."
"Tell me why you're here." Charlie said again. The dread looming over her now. Her heart beginning to race. "Now."
Lilith's smile faded as she crossed her arms across her chest. "Heaven's not happy with you. I've been sent here to get you to stop this nonsense."
Charlie paused. "They... sent you?"
Lilith sighed, then rubbed the bridge of her nose. "Yes," Her eyes looked up at Charlie. "You and your ridiculous hotel are threatening everything I worked so hard to obtain for the past seven years."
Alastor's eyes glanced away.
"You've... been in Heaven this whole time?"
"Yes, dear. Keep up." Lilith sighed.
Charlie looked over at Alastor but he wasn't looking at her.
Lilith followed her gaze to Alastor then looked back at Charlie. "Wait... what is this?" She pointed between the two of them. Her eyes locking on Alastor. "Did you... seduce my daughter?"
Alastor looked at Lilith then his eyes shot to Charlie.
Lilith whipped her head to look at her daughter. "You let this sinner have you?" She began to smirk. "Oh my." She chuckled. "You're more like your father than I thought."
Cherri, Niffty, Angel and Husker all just stared at the three in front of them.
"I love him." Charlie stated.
Lilith laughed louder. "Oh honey." She pretended to wipe a tear away from her eye. "That's cute, thinking the radio demon would ever love anyone but himself." She looked at Alastor.
Alastor was staring at Charlie.
Lilith narrowed her eyes a bit at Alastor then turned to look at Charlie again. "But I digress," she started. "I'm here to ask you to stop with this silly hotel. Please." She smiled.
"No."
Lilith paused. "I'm sorry?"
"I said no." Charlie said again. "I'm doing this to help our people. I won't turn my back on them."
Lilith rolled her eyes. "Charlie, these people are sinners. Even if you do save some of them, you'll never save them all."
Charlie glanced over at Angel, Husker, Cherri and Niffty. She looked back at her mother. "I'll do whatever it takes. I'll never give up."
Alastor's smile curled a bit higher. Such passion from the demon belle.
"Charlie," Lilith eyed her daughter. "You don't have a choice. You either stop this or I'll stop it for you."
Charlie narrowed her eyes at her. "Then I guess you'll have to stop me."
Lilith's eyes widened in rage, her lips turning into a snarl on her beautiful features. "Do you know who you are talking to?!" Her voice echoed through the lobby.
"Yes," Charlie said, unmoving. "The woman who abandoned her husband, child and her people."
Lilith went to step towards Charlie when Alastor appeared in front of her. She paused, eyeing him. "Move." She growled.
Alastor paused; fighting the command. "N-No."
Charlie stared at Alastor's back as he stood in front of her. He had saved her multiple times before but there would be no way he could survive a blow from her mother. She rounded him then stood to face him. "Al... let me handle this one." She placed a hand on his chest.
Alastor broke eye contact from Lilith to look down at Charlie. His hand came up to rest overtop of hers.
Lilith eyed them. "How disgustingly cute." She scoffed.
Charlie turned sideways to look at her mother. "Stop it."
Lilith eyed her.
"Just because you lost dad doesn't mean you can be sour about everything." She turned fully to her mother now, Alastor standing behind her. "He's willing to help me with my dream. He won't abandon me like you did."
Lilith smirked. "So... he's told you everything then?"
Alastor narrowed his eyes at Lilith.
"Here we go..." Husker grabbed a bottle of booze. Angel eyed him then looked over at Charlie, Lilith and Alastor.
Charlie just stared at Lilith, her eyes narrowed.
"I'll take it by your silence that he hasn't been as honest as you hoped he was." She crossed her arms across her chest. "Did he tell you where he was for seven years?"
Alastor tensed behind Charlie.
"How the big scary radio demon who rips apart souls... accidentally redeemed himself?"
Charlie paused.
Lilith smirked. "Oh... I see he hasn't told you. Well, this is a good story." She eyed Alastor. "Alastor isn't the type to come to a man's aid but a woman's? It seems he has a soft spot." She waved her hand in the air. "Anyway, he threw himself into a dangerous situation on purpose and ended up redeeming himself for his act of selflessness and sacrifice."
Charlie turned her head to look back at Alastor who was glaring at Lilith.
"But that's not all."
Charlie looked back at Lilith.
"The moment he arrived in Heaven, he tried to go back. But the thing about Heaven is that you can't injure or kill. He tried but got absolutely no where." Lilith smirked. "Instead, they shoved him in this fluffy little padded cell... For seven years."
Charlie's eyes softened.
"Enough." Alastor said.
Lilith chuckled. "Oh, I'm not done yet." She tapped her chin with her finger as she thought. "I was wandering around when I found him in that cell. So I proposed a deal. I would send him back as a demon, if he watched over you and protected you. A little sacrifice for comfort back in Hell. With limited power, of course."
"Lilith." Alastor clenched his teeth.
Lilith lifted her open palm towards Alastor. Her smirk wide. "And he's been such an obedient pet, haven't you Al?" A purple chain appeared in her hand then stretched across towards Alastor. It connected around his neck.
Alastor gripped the chain with one hand, his lips curled into a snarl. His eyes murderous.
Charlie followed the purple chain with her eyes, over her shoulder, to Alastor's throat. Her eyes looked back at her mother. "How did you get into Heaven?"
Lilith's eyes shot to hers at the question. "I made a deal. With Adam."
Charlie narrowed her eyes. "You abandoned everyone... me, dad, your people... and made a deal with your ex?" She almost spat. "What would make you do such a thing?"
"Peace!" Lilith glared. "Your father sunk into depression after we were casted to Hell. He tried to keep his dreams but he couldn't hold onto them. So it was my responsibility to take care of everything." Her eyes looked away. "After ten thousand years," her eyes looked over at Charlie. "I wanted peace."
Charlie's eyes softened. "We can obtain peace, mom... if we work together, we can save Hell."
"Your dreams are futile, Charlie." Lilith said. "Heaven doesn't want sinners to be redeemed. They asked me to stop you but if I can't? Heaven and Hell will go to war."
"But Vaggie-"
"-was only told what she needed to hear!" Lilith glared. "End this now or I will." She gripped the chain holding Alastor, tugging it slightly.
Charlie's eyes narrowed at Lilith.
Alastor leaned down to Charlie's ear. "Remember our deal, darling?"
Charlie kept her eyes on Lilith as she nodded, feeling him close behind her.
Alastor smirked. "It's time to cash it in."

"Really?" Charlie glanced back at him before looking back at Lilith. "Right now?"
Alastor hummed by her ear. "It's the perfect time." His right hand came up to grip her shoulder from behind.
"What is it then?" Charlie's heart began to race.
"I need you to break the chain." Alastor smirked.
Charlie furrowed her brows at his request. Her eyes scanned the purple chain, then her mother holding said chain. Break the chain? But... how could she do that?
Alastor was a smart man. He wouldn't of suggested something foolish if he didn't think there was a high chance it could work. So what did he see that she didn't?
Charlie froze. She remembered what her father had said. Maybe, just maybe...
Alastor's smile grew more wicked as he loomed behind her.
Charlie's hand rose and she gripped the chain.
Lilith eyed her curiously.
Charlie's eyes locked with her mother's. Her hair began to flicker like flame and her horns formed on her head. Red completely engulfing her eyes.
"Oh you bastard..." Lilith's eyes went to Alastor's. "You manipulative-"
Charlie clenched the chain tightly in her hand, causing it the shatter. It fell apart like domino's, trailing down to Lilith's hand.
Lilith yelped when it exploded in her hand. She stared at her hand then her baffled eyes looked up at Charlie. "You stupid stupid girl..."
Charlie eyed her.
Alastor began to laugh.
Charlie turned to look at Alastor. "Al...?"
Alastor looked at Charlie with a large wicked smile. His maroon eyes empty yet gleeful. He raised his hand into the air. With a snap of his fingers, he vanished.
Charlie focused on Angel, Cherri and Husker who were now in her line of vision.
They stared at Charlie with furrowed brows and bewildered expressions. Then Husker looked away with a scoff, as if he expected it out of Alastor. Like he was a-
"Coward." Lilith spat.
Charlie turned her attention back to Lilith. She couldn't worry about Alastor right now. She... didn't want to think about it. Her hands clenched into fists as she glared at her. "I'm not closing the hotel, mom."
Lilith narrowed her eyes at Charlie. "Then I guess I have no choice..." She raised her hands.
"Charlie!" Angel lunged towards Lilith, causing her to turn her attention to Angel. He tackled her to the ground, a shot of purple lightning shooting from her fingertips and hitting beside Charlie.
Charlie shielded her face from the broken tile and debris that flung into the air.
Husker bolted over to Angel and Lilith. He pulled Angel away quickly, as he fought against him.
Lilith pushed herself up and glared at Charlie. Her hand raising to aim at her again.
"No, Husk!" Angel struggled. "Charlie!" His hand reached out to her.
Charlie looked over at Lilith in time to see the electricity jolt towards her. Then a body crashed into her vision. She gasped as her and Cherri tumbled across the tile floor.
"Ugh!" Lilith growled at missing her. For the second time.
"Cherri..." Charlie pulled herself up and crawled over beside Cherri. She paused when she didn't feel a pulse. "Cherri...?" Her eyes widened as tears formed.
Cherri was dead.
"Aww, how sad. A worthless sinner passing... anyway," Lilith had grabbed Charlie this time. She gripped her by the throat and lifted her up.
Charlie fought against her, her hands gripping into her wrists. Her red eyes furious and filled with tears.
Lilith scoffed. "You're weak, Charlotte."
Charlie scanned her face. Then she paused. How did she not see it before?
"You're not my mom..." Charlie managed to say.
Lilith smirked. "Hmm. You may be weak but you're clever." She squeezed her throat tighter. "Though, it won't matter once I've ended you."
Alastor appeared in his room. He smiled widely. He raised his hands, green magic swirling around in his palm. He was finally free. He had his full power back. He laughed wickedly. It was time to leave this awful place. Away from its unruly patrons and charming princess.
Ba-dum~
He paused.
No, this couldn't be...
Alastor's hand rose to grip his chest, his eyes frantically searching the floor. He ended the control. Lilith's siren call had been voided. All those stupid feelings and tuggings should be extinguished.
Ba-dum~
He inhaled a sharp breath and gripped his jacket tighter, slightly ripping the fabric with his claws. His eyes flickering back and forth.
He thought back to the moment he started this little game. He was suppose to watch her and protect her, to his utter dismay. Had he grown... fond of her? His eyes widened in horror. But then he started acting out of character. Surely that was the influence of Lilith... right? He would never...
Alastor turned his head to look towards the conjured bayou. Maroon eyes stared at the picture. He had let her in. She had seen parts of him he had never shared before. Surely... surely that was Lilith, controlling him...
Ba-dum~
His eyes softened as his claws loosened on his jacket.
All the moments he had with Charlie overloaded him. Every laugh, every look, every touch, every single word that came out of her mouth, every kiss...
Lilith didn't do any of that.
He wanted to do that. All of that. Everything, with Charlie.
Then, finally:
Acceptance.
Alastor felt a tug at the corner of his mouth. He was truly, ultimately and frustratingly in love with Charlie.
He smiled with a soft chuckle. She had won a game he didn't even know they were playing.
"Well then..." He murmured. "Seems I've become the fool..."
He paused, almost flinching.
And as the humongous fool he was, he had abandoned his love in a dangerous situation.

"Husk, let me go!" Angel shouted as he struggled against Husker's grip. He stared wide eyed over at Lilith holding Charlie up by the neck.
Husker eyed the situation. They had no chance against the queen of Hell. But it was Charlie. He scrunched his nose then sighed heavily. "Oh for fuck sakes." He released Angel who immediately darted over to Charlie. He followed quickly behind.
Angel pulled Lilith's hand off Charlie, then pushed her back. He pulled out a Tommy gun, from somewhere, and eyed her. "Let's dance, toots."
Husker helped Charlie stand then looked over at Angel and Lilith. This wasn't going to be good.
Charlie placed a hand over the barrel of Angel's gun to lower it. He shot her a look and she gave him a small smile. She turned her face to Lilith. "Tell me who you are."
Angel and Husker paused.
"I'm surprised you haven't guessed already." Lilith tilted her head to the side, a wide smile.
Charlie had heard stories about the woman in front of her. But that's all they were... stories. Now, she stood in there, posing as her mother.
"Eve."
Eve smiled at Charlie.
"But... how?" Angel muttered.
"Just bidding my time..." Eve said softly. "Waiting." She eyed the three of them. "Then your mother found me."
Charlie just stared at her, listening.
"And she made a deal." Eve said. "Her life for your safety."
Husker narrowed his eyes at Eve. All he could see was another version of Alastor. A festering, evil-consumed tyrant.
"But, what your mother didn't account for was me absorbing her. I became Lilith, and Eve ceased to exist. Which meant... the deal was nulled."
"But why wait? Why send Alastor here?" Charlie asked.
Eve studied the princess. "Why do anything, indeed, princess? Sheer absolute boredom." She smiled.
Charlie paused. "You... did it for fun?"
Eve shrugged. "How else was I suppose to cause chaos?" She placed her hands on her hips. "I couldn't just come out and kill you, could I? There's no fun in that."
"Please, Eve. Stop this madness."
Eve smirked then raised her hand. She swiped her hand to the side, sending Husker and Angel flying towards the bar.
They crashed into the bottles on the wall and dropped to the floor, rendering them both unconscious.
"Husk! Angel!" Charlie went to run to them but she couldn't move. Her eyes looked over at Eve who was now walking towards her.
"Silly little princess." Eve said as she stopped in front of Charlie. "I'm not Eve anymore, remember?"
Charlie narrowed her eyes, struggling against the power grasp Eve held on her. She couldn't move.
Eve lifted her hand, purple electricity sparking from her fingertips. "Once I finish you... I can finally overthrow your father." Her eyes flashed with purple lightning as she bore down at Charlie.
It all happened too fast for Charlie to process.
The color green flashed in front of her, then Eve was sent flying backwards. A familiar red jacket stopping in front of her. She felt herself regain control of her body.
Eve scrambled to her feet, eyes glaring daggers at the radio demon now in front of Charlie.
"Tsk tsk." Alastor wagged his finger at Eve. "It's not nice to fight, ladies." He smirked.
Eve eyed him curiously then smirked. "Oh my... this is good." She scanned the both of them.
"Al...?" Charlie breathed.
Alastor turned his head to look back at her. His eyes soft and his smile small. "I hope you can forgive me, darling... I've been a complete fool."
Crackle. Snap!~
Alastor turned his attention back to Eve. The hand gripping his microphone staff coming up to form a shield of magic in front of him just as the lightning hit it. It pushed him back against Charlie.
Charlie put her hands out to touch his back, stopping him from moving any further. She braced him.
Alastor glared towards Eve. She was strong, much stronger than him. If he kept this barrier up any longer, he'd deplete most of his magic. "Charlie."
"Yeah?"
"I need you, dearest." Alastor grunted then pushed forward, causing the shield to fling the lightning back at Eve. He turned to look at Charlie. His hand came out. "Let's do this. Together." He smiled.
The moment his maroon eyes looked at her, she could feel the sincerity radiating from them. She smiled and reached for his hand.
Eve let out a ear piercing scream before she flung lightning bolts towards Alastor as he pulled Charlie up beside him. His hand gripping hers tightly.
There was no time. Alastor made another split second decision, one that cost him his soul last time. But he'd gladly do it again. For her.
"Charlie!" Alastor gripped Charlie by both arms then shoved her back, away from him.
Charlie stumbled back as she watched the lightning hit Alastor.
BOOM!~
Charlie caught herself before falling back. She steadied herself on her feet. The dust from the broken tile spraying into the air as her eyes locked on Alastor.
Alastor was flung across the lobby floor, he rolled until he stopped on his stomach. He gasped, blood splattering onto the tile under him. He rolled onto his back.
"Al!" Charlie ran over to him. She skidded onto her knees beside him as her hands frantically hovered over the multiple wounds across his stomach.
"Charlie." Alastor said, no radio static in his voice.
Charlie paused. Her eyes locked onto Alastor's.
Her dream.
Oh no. No no no no. This can't be real.
"Shh, shh." Charlie hushed him, tears filling her eyes. "Don't speak, okay? I'll... I'll fix you." She broke slightly at the end.
Alastor raised his bloody hand to rest against her cheek. "I'll miss... you fussing over me..." He smiled weakly.
"No, Alastor." Charlie sobbed, her hand going up to grip his on her cheek. "I can save you. Please... hold on."
"You already saved me..." Alastor said. His eyes flickered between hers, a soft smile on his face. "I... love you."
Tears escaped Charlie's eyes as her bottom lip began to quiver. "I love you..." she whispered.
Alastor smiled. "I know..." He grunted softly before closing his eyes. His hand sliding off her face.
"Alastor?" Charlie said, her hand gripping his now limp hand. "Alastor!" She called then shook him. "Alastor, please, no!" She sobbed. She watched the blood coat the floor underneath him then her eyes settled on his microphone beside them.
Charlie narrowed her eyes and picked the microphone up. She pushed herself up to stand.
"Are we done the games now?" Eve mocked behind her.
Charlie turned to face Eve, her hand gripping Alastor's staff. Her face almost twisted into a snarl. She watched Eve's smile slowly fade.
Eve watched as green magic swooped out from Charlie's hand that held the staff. It trailed up her arm until it consumed her completely. Red symbols popping out around her. Her hair began to flicker and her eyes filled with crimson. Her tear stained face contorted into rage.
The room began to darken.
"Let's make a deal." Charlie stated, her voice static.

Eve stared at Charlie, the green glow of Alastor's magic swirling around her. She swallowed the lump in her throat as she watched the room darken. "You don't scare me." She said.
"You should be scared." Charlie stated, static echoing through the lobby. Her hand gripped the microphone in her hand.
Eve eyed her, but she stood tall. "What kind of deal?"
Kill her.
Charlie paused at the words. Her eyes glanced towards the microphone then back to Eve. She could feel the power that radiated off the staff, trying to consume her mind.
"I want you to leave this place and never come back." Charlie said.
"And if I don't?"
Charlie narrowed her eyes. "I'll fucking kill you."
Yes, kill her.
Eve kept her eyes locked on Charlie for a long while before she smirked. "I don't think you have it in you." She looked Charlie up and down. "You may of gained more power from Alastor but you're still Charlie. The same pathetic little princess that believes in the goodness in all of us." Her smile turned wicked. "You're all talk."
"But I'm not."
Eve paused then turned around to look behind her. Her eye widened. "L-Lucifer..."
Lucifer had his arms crossed against his chest. His eyes narrowed as he eyed Eve. Then he looked behind her at Charlie. He didn't seem phased that she was glowing green. His eyes focused back on Eve. "It's been a long time..."
Eve just stared at him, frozen in place.
Lucifer's eyes softened. "I know you're in there, Lily..." He said.
Eve eyed him then softened her eyes, playing the part. "It is me, Luci..."
Lucifer glared at her. "Don't you dare." He growled. "I'm no fool, Eve. I may of fallen from grace but I'd never fall for your tricks."
Eve's eyes widened. "I-"
Lucifer reached out and grabbed Eve by the neck. He pulled her down until her back hit the floor. He pinned her the floor, his hand gripping her neck. His eyes became red and his horns extended. "Give her back!" His voice was distorted, and deep.
Eve gripped his wrist with both hands, eyes wide as she stared up at him.
Charlie just stood there, watching the scene play out.
Husker groaned, pushing himself up from the floor. He lifted a hand to his head then his eyes shot over to Angel.
Angel was sitting up, rubbing his head. "You okay, whiskers?"
Husker smirked at him then looked over at Lucifer and Eve. His eyes shot over to Charlie then he froze. The green magic and the microphone she was clutching, her blood soaked clothes. His eyes looked behind her to see Alastor on the floor, blood surrounding him. "He... came back?
"Holy shit." Angel managed to mumble.
"Lucifer!" Eve gasped, her hands gripping his wrist tighter.
"Now, Eve!" Lucifer shouted, his red magic rippling off him like waves in a storm. His wings ripping the back fabric of his jacket to spread out behind him. His eyes glistening with tears but he was far from sad. "I. Want. Her. Back!"
Eve gasped and tilted her head back. Purple magic swirled from her skin and into the air, causing Lucifer to release Eve immediately.
Lucifer stood up, his hands reaching up to gather the purple magic to him. He smiled a bit then swooped it all into his arms, his wings closing over him. His wings opened to reveal Lilith laying on his lap on the ground, his hand trailing through her hair. "Lily...?"
Eve gasped on the ground, her hand going to her chest. She abruptly sat up to glare at Lucifer and Lilith. Her features were still similar to Lilith's but her nose and mouth were different. "No!"
Lilith's eyes fluttered open to look up at Lucifer. "Luci...?"
Lucifer smiled, his hand trailing down to rest on the side of her face. "There's my girl."
Eve scrambled to her feet, her eyes dead set on Lucifer and Lilith. She went to walk towards them but Charlie appeared in front of her.
Charlie gripped her cheeks with one hand, her claws digging into Eve's cheeks. Her eyes narrowed at her. She leaned in close to her face. "We're not done yet." She said.
Eve glared at Charlie, her hand gripping her arm.
"Leave or die."
Eve's eyes shot over to Lucifer and Lilith then back to Charlie. She was no match for any of them now. She needed to switch to plan B. "I'll l-leave..." she managed to say.
Charlie released her face. "Then fuck off." She growled.
Eve glared at all of them before she bolted out the front door.
Charlie's eyes softened once Eve had vanished. She looked down at the microphone clenched in her hand. She turned to look over at Alastor, still in the same spot.
Lucifer glanced at Charlie then followed her eyes to Alastor. He looked back down at Lilith. "Can you stand, my love?"
Lilith nodded. He helped her stand, her towering over him. "Thank you, ducky." She bent down to rub her nose with his.
Charlie walked over to Alastor. She sat on her knees next to him, the staff in her lap. Her eyes scanned his torn and bloody attire then his face. His eyes closed, and no smile. It was odd... seeing him without a smile. Her eyes looked down at her hands holding his staff. Her hands began to tremble, her eyes swelling with tears. She laid the side of her face against his chest, closing her eyes. "Why..." She muttered softly, tears flowing down her face onto his jacket.
"Darling..."
Charlie shot up, looking at Alastor's face with wide eyes.
"Don't cry..." Alastor said softly, his eyes barely open to look at her.
"Al?" Charlie choked then leaned down and grabbed his face gently with her hands. "Your alive..."
Alastor grunted at ger action then smiled weakly. "Well... I'd argue that but yes, I am."
"How? That blow should of killed you."
Alastor huffed. "I would never let someone get the better of me."
Charlie stared at him, her lips parted.
"My powers were restored." Alastor managed to say. "I was able to lend most of it to you while whatever I kept protected me from the blow." He winced as he tried to move. "Though, not as well protected as I hoped..."
"Stop." Charlie held him down. "Please don't move. You're... in very bad shape." Her eyes scanned him before settling on those deep maroons.
Alastor smirked as he looked up at her. "Still fussing, I see..."
Charlie smiled down at him.
"Charlie."
Charlie turned to look up at her mother and father standing next to them now.
"Can I...?" Lilith nodded to Alastor.
Charlie nodded and moved so Lilith could sit down next to Alastor.
Alastor tensed when she placed her hand on his stomach. A soft purple glow emitting from her hand and into Alastor. She lifted her hand up and smiled at him. She stood up to stand next to Lucifer again.
"He's not fully healed, but it's better than he was." Lilith said.
Alastor exhaled a breath of relief as the pain subsided greatly. He looked up at the queen of Hell. "Thank you..."
Charlie smiled at him. "See, I knew you were nice."
"Manners, darling. There's a difference."
Charlie leaned down and hugged him tightly, causing him to grunt again.
Alastor smiled and rubbed her back with his hand. "I wish I could of seen you..." He said softly into her ear. "I bet you were magnificent."
Charlie lifted her head up to look him in the face.
"My charming demon belle..." Alastor's fingers grazed along the side of her face.
"Charlie."
Charlie smiled at Alastor then took his hand off her face to hold it in hers. She looked up at her father.
Lucifer nodded towards the front door then glanced at Alastor.
Charlie nodded then looked over at Alastor. "I'll be a minute, okay?"
Alastor pulled himself up into a sitting position, leaning against the railing at the bottom of the stairs. He nodded at her. He wavered for a second but released her hand.
Charlie hesitantly got up then headed to the front door, where her mother now stood.
"Charming." Lilith looked at Charlie, referring to Alastor.
Charlie glanced at Alastor. "Yeah..." She looked at her mother. "Among other things." She smiled a bit.
Lucifer folded his arms across his chest as he eyed Alastor. "So..."
Alastor actually looked up at the short king for once. His eyes narrowed, this would definitely be the only time this ever happened.
"You saved Charlie."
"I did."
"But you ran away first."
Alastor looked away from Lucifer. "Lapse in judgement."
Lucifer narrowed his eyes at him. "Will uh, there be any more lapses in judgement?"
Maroon eyes shot to Lucifer. "Definitely not."
"Hm." Lucifer said, his eyes looking away. "Well, better be. I'm always watching, you know..."
"You were late. Again."
Lucifer's eyes shot to him.
"Respectfully." Alastor stated, his smile pressed thin.
"I apologize for not being so sensitive to my surroundings, Bambi."
Alastor glared at Lucifer.
Lucifer then smirked at Alastor. "She told you to be nice, didn't she?"
Alastor didn't say a word.
Lucifer glanced over at Charlie and Lilith then back at Alastor. He leaned down closer to him. "Listen up, Al. I'm probably never going to say this again." He said. "Thank you for saving my daughter."
Alastor furrowed his brows in confusion at the praise.
"I can see what she sees in you." Lucifer straightened back up. "It took you a looooong while but I'm glad you're able to see how special Charlie is."
Alastor's eyes looked over to Charlie. "She really is."
Lucifer narrowed his eyes at him, a smile on his face. "Hm." He said then turned away. "Well, take care." He waved his staff then walked over to Lilith and Charlie.
Charlie watched her father walk over and stand next to her mother. "Thank you, dad." She said.
Lucifer smiled at her. "Anything for you." He glanced at Lilith then back at Charlie. "I'm sorry we can't stay longer, but duty calls." He said.
Lilith looked at him, a bit surprised. "Luci?"
Lucifer looked at his wife. "I've been absent too long, Lily. It's time I remind Hell who I am."
Lilith smiled, eyeing him up and down. "Hmm." She hummed before looking back at Charlie.
"I understand." Charlie said. "I'll visit soon, okay?"
Lucifer and Lilith both leaned in and wrapped their daughter in their arms.
"I love you." Her parents said. They both looked at each other then smiled at the unison.
Charlie smiled as she hugged her parents. They pulled away, then vanished in a swirl of flame.

"Come now, darling..." Alastor said. "It's not good to go to bed angry."
Charlie had her arms folded across her chest, her eyes narrowed at him. They stood in her room, well, she stood and he sat on the edge of the bed. Everything was still tender for him from the ordeal earlier. But she was still angry; for the lies, and the betrayal... the abandonment. "Was that your plan the whole time?" She finally asked.
Alastor tilted his head a bit as he watched her. It was hard to concentrate when she looked absolutely adorable when she was mad. Was she aware of that? He'd have to tell her later... "You'll have to be specific, dear."
"Was your plan to manipulate me into breaking your chain?" Charlie asked.
"It started that way." Alastor admitted.
Charlie stared at him. "I would of done it if you asked me to..." She said softly.
Alastor looked down then back up at her. "I assure you, I would of if I would of known better."
There was silence for a while.
"What made you come back?"
Alastor paused, seeing her angry features turn to sorrow. He did not like that face, not one bit. It needed to be fixed immediately. "I'm in love with you, Charlie."
Charlie paused at the sudden confession. Yes, he told her he loved her already but that... She could see it burning in his eyes as he stood and walked up to her.
"I love you." Alastor said again, his hand raising to trail the back of his claws against her cheek. "I'll say it as many times as I need to, until you believe me." He smiled.
Charlie stared up into his maroon eyes. This was a new side of him that she didn't think she'd ever see.
"Say it again."
Alastor smirked. "I love you."
"Again."
"I lo-"
Charlie gripped the lapels of his jacket and pulled him down to her. She pressed her lips against his, feeling his response just as quickly.
Alastor wrapped his arms around her, picking her up to wrap her legs around his waist. His hand trailing up to lock into her hair. Their lips parted, and he kissed down along her jawline before he pulled away to look into her eyes. "Je t'aime, mon chéri..."
Charlie hummed at the new language. "That's pretty. What does that mean?"
"I love you, my darling."
Charlie smiled and leaned her forehead against his. "For all eternity..."
"For all eternity." Alastor declared.
"Marry me..."
"Deal." Alastor smiled at her.
Charlie paused, fully expecting him to say the opposite. "Let's have a baby." She tried to tease again.
"Let's get started then!" Alastor carried her over to the bed as she began to giggle.
"Al!" Charlie laughed as he tossed her back onto the bed. "But you're hurt." She said.
"Go easy on me, darling..." Alastor smirked as he crawled overtop of her.
Charlie smiled up at him.
Alastor smiled down at her before he leaned slowly down to her ear. "It's time to wake up now, Charlie..."
Charlie paused.
Alastor began to laugh.
"Alastor!" Charlie smacked him on the chest, causing him to wince. "That's what you get. Ugh. I can't believe you did that!
Alastor smiled at her then leaned down to her mouth. "You know you can't stay mad at me for long... Mon amour, my love. My heart..."
"Sweet talker..." Charlie said softly as his lips brushed against hers.
"My forever..." Alastor whispered before pressing his lips gently against hers.
Cherri appeared in bright padded pure white room. There was a bed, and a small window conjointly the opposite room. She eyed the small claw gash in the corner of the room. She walked over to the little window nd peered inside, seeing someone facing away from her.
"Hello?"
Sir Pentious turned to look back at the window. He froze. His brows furrowed. "Cherri...?"
"Pentious?" Cherri gasped then looked around. "What's going on? Where are we?"
Sir Pentious's eyes softened as he stared at her. "We're in Heaven, my dear."
