Lorrimon sat in the distance, watching her sister Lilithmon create trees, and grass spreads as she walked, she was amazed at everything around, her sister made such beautiful things. Erebosmon took a spot beside and watched her too. "Why can't I create such beautiful things' " she asked her big brother, as her cheeks flushed crimson that almost matched her hair color.

"You aren't old enough, you have to be a thousand years older" Erebosmon said, ruffling Lorrimon's hair, he was remarking sarcastically to her question.

Before Lorrimon could react to her brother's remark, Lilithmon appeared in front of both of them "Remember that stuff, you got soaked in when I first came up with it" she said, as she gestured to the open valley.

"I Remember saying I wouldn't talk to you again if that happened again" Lorrimon said, with a huff at the end.

"I know what to do with it" Lilithmon said, pulling Lorrimon to her feet, and dragged her reluctantly behind. They were suddenly gliding across the ground, the ground splitting apart and filling with a liquid that shimmered in the sunlight with and enchanting light. She and Lorrimon laughed cheerfully. They stopped and looked back on it. "I call this an oasis"

Lorrimon dipped her hand, in the oasis "It Tingles" she said giggling. Right before jumping into the oasis, and watched her sister, create water, that seemed to come from the sky. This was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen, she called for their big brother to join, he had to experience this all for himself.

"More Beautiful than the Wild Woods?" Lilithmon ask, teasingly gesturing at the huge forest of trees.

"Yes" Lorrimon replied, without hesitation "The forest is pretty, but this is magical, whatever we decide to decide to populate this place will love it"

"I fully agree" Erebosmon said, interrupting the conversation, as he glided by his sisters, and met them on the opposite shores "Have you two decided what will be populating this planet, and taking in this breathtaking vista"

"Be patient big brother, we haven't decided yet" Lilithmon said, smiling at Erebosmon "Whatever is will be has to be perfect"

"Even if that takes over a thousand years, you know how indecisive, you are, even my chaos is more organized than you, please let me help you?" Erebosmon pleaded, with his sisters "If you don't put anything on it.

Lorrimon sighed, and smiled weakly "Please understand, things take time, and we have all the time in the world to get it right, if you love us, don't do anything, you can help us, by taking care of the things we have created so far, you did help create this planet" she said, placing her right hand, on her brothers shoulder"

"You will play your part as a member of this family, you will be important to guide people, we do want a little chaos in everyone's lives, how would expect them to evolve otherwise" Lilithmon said, placing her hand on, Erebosmon's shoulder too. "Promise us, please don't do anything"

Erebosmon stepped partly into the shadow, so they had a hard time reading his annoyed expression "I promise, I will just watch you do your thing" he said crossing fingers behind his back. He watched as his two sisters left. They needed his help, he would give them it, even if they didn't want it or not. As he turned to go a hand touched his shoulder, turned to come to face with Lorrimon, who had a concerned expression on her face.

"Look I know we can be controlling, with this planet, I know you just want to help, you can do something but please if you do create something keep it simple, and don't let our sister see, again please don't go overboard" Lorrimon said, pulling her big brother tight hug, before leaving again.

Erebosmon stood there, both hands and feet bound, and couldn't move, he watched circle him they were beyond angry, they were outraged at him, he looked at them not understanding their angry, he had helped, he never intended for things to turn out that way, he didn't know they had created stuff when he did what he had done.

"I will not forgive you" Lorrimon screamed at her brother, "Sister, he should be punished" seemingly ignoring the expression of confusion on her brother's face.

"We are going to seal you away, never to release you again, you know what you did and the harm it has done, now you betrayed our trust, I can't let you run free on this planet" Lilithmon said, as she created a black monument, "This will be your prison forever" she gritted her teeth and glared at her brother. "Do you have any last words?"

"You are going to condemn me to a dark prison, for an eternity for doing what I thought was right" Erebosmon screamed, and spat at his sister's feet, "You Two are a pack of fools, every inch of you," his face contorting with rage and sadness, tears flowing from his eyes, and his skin turning beet red "you believe your world is safe! I will bring it to ruin, I will make you pay for what you have taken from me, I will be released… I WILL BE RELEASED!" He was gone, cut off in mid scream, pulled into the monument a serpent eating itself appeared on it.

"As you can see, Citizens of Lilithia, there is a darkness surrounding this kingdom, but we are being protected by the power of the mirrors, and the hybrids Kazemon, she has reinforced, I have called Kitsumon to come here, according Kazemon this will prevent anyone from coming in here, even those that are threatening this very world, I will be leaving to seek out the rest of the digidestined and we will confront them, and bring an end to this" Juniko said, raising her hand, into the air, to the applause of all the citizens of her kingdom. She had to hide how worried sick, she was about her boyfriend. He could have used the mirror to come here, when everything had been coated with darkness, but he wasn't there and her mind was racing a marathon of panic. She turned to Huang, who nodded, understanding what was on her mind. He was worried too, and not just about Takajin.

When she had been finished taking something started to appear behind her it, was Kitsumon, who was now being hugged by Kazemon, who had tripped and fell into hugging her, "I missed you too Kazemon" she said, smiling, down at her" she turned to Juniko, still being hugged to death by her best friend. "You called, I know the reason I am here, but the other kingdoms aren't protected, those barriers will keep those sentinels out but those won't keep the Ouroboros knights out"

"I understand this that's why I am seeking out the other digidestined, all of us together, will defeat Erebosmon and his kin" Juniko said, nodding in Kitsumon's direction.

"That is good and all but not all the Digi chips have wielders, like the virtues of Light, and Friendship, haven't picked anyone, I would have felt it" Kitsumon said, looking very worried. "it was luck the digidestined overcame their last challenge, it was Lilithmon who took out Abaddonmon, but that was after he nearly decimated the digidestined, these Ouroboros knights are way stronger than he was"

"I know where the digi Chip of light is" Kitsumon said, gesturing for everyone to follow her, which they all did, she leads them directly to the tower, and inside, until they reached the very top, which was the room the chips had been made in, one side of the room there was a bright light, and in the center was one that was flickering, and sparking. As they got close to it, the sparking light was a digi chip, but not just any it was the digi chip of light, it was cracked, and black stuff was seeping through from each crack in it, every now and then sounds that came from it sounded like a sounded animal. "This damage was caused by Tajiri Kamiya, going against his virtue in the name of revenge, really hurt it, it's bleeding the darkness force feed to it, this darkness is killing it, we really need a new digidestined for this Digi chip very soon. Take it with you, keep it near your chip, which will act as life support"

"What is the other one?" Juniko asked, pointing at the solid light across the room from them.

"That is an unfinished Digi chip, Lorrimon needs to come back and finish that one, no one else could, unless you can awaken, as Lilithmon, which is a long way off right now just looking at you" Kitsumon said, looking pleadingly at Juniko.

"I understand" Juniko said, picking up the digi chip of light, and placing it in her pocket "First we need to head to archive. Virgil will be waiting for us at Primary Village where we will meet up with Leoben. Once everyone was packed they met up in front of the portal mirror. Juniko touched it, and it distorted like usual, she remembered earlier, when they had escaped through from the oasis, the symbol that showed up on it, it seemed normal now. She took a deep breath, and walked through it, reality warped around her, to her, her body seemed like it was being picked apart piece by piece. It was disconcerting using it to her, but she had to. An image refracted around her, and a voice she couldn't make out, brushed passed her, then she was standing in Primary Village. A minute joined by Huang, they went to head into the village only to have Enna Kamiya, appear unexpectedly from the mirror, her cheerful face the last thing they thought they would see.

"What are you doing here" Huang said, with an annoyed tone in his voice, his digimon partner Babydimon, asleep in the backpack he was wearing.

"I am here to support my great old one, I have a gut feeling she needs me, and I go where I am needed, " Enna said, latching onto Juniko, with a hug, who rolled her eyes in response.

"You are not a digidestined, or will you ever become one, I am sorry for being blunt, but none of the Digi chip chose you a hundred years ago, so they won't likely choose you now" Huang said, trying to put it lightly.

"So, I made a mistake by not going with my friends back then, I will not make that mistake again, you are my friend, Juniko, and you too Huang, I'll do what's in my own ability, to help you" Enna smiled, as she spoke, ignoring the sighs of surrender, she got in response to her declaration.

"We need to get to the archive, we don't know if going through the portal mirror, will bring Ouroboros Knights here, so we better hurry before they pin point this, we don't want to bring the danger here" Juniko said, pulling away from Enna, and heading towards the location that Virgil had indicated that they should meet up, when they arrived only Leoben was there to greet them. Enna tackled him on sight, and ignored his attempts to squirm away.

"You are the weirdest girl I have ever met" Leoben said, his face flushing a slight crimson, and looked like an animal in a hunter's spotlight. This just caused Enna to laugh, and then pull when she remembered why they were there. "Things are bad, the people here need supplies, food and water, the village farm, and well are right outside the dome protecting it. I snuck out there and barely made it back with enough supplies to last a week, we need to do something about this darkness before people get reckless and try to go out themselves"

"From what I was told, if normal people go out there, they will be transformed into those creatures out there, those sentinels" Juniko said, scratching her chin, as she thought.

"The things that tried to swarm me all the time I was beyond the barrier shell?" Leoben asked, "Those things were people once?"

"First someone touched by that darkness turns to stone, then it shatters off them, they appear normal at first, they quickly descend into madness, they are consumed and turned into what seems like congealed blood, that you now see them as. In the flashback Virgil showed, the legendary digidestined encountered them in the green zone" Huang said, he shuttered "it's something I'll never be able to un-see"

"It is dark times, just hope it doesn't get any worse than this, we need to head this off before it does" Juniko said, as something started to appear in front of them, it was like a mirage coming into focus, until and upside down pyramid was in front of them. A door opened and Virgil and Sorami stepped out, there was a crowd of people standing behind them, hiding like anything outside of the archive was going to eat them. Both of them stepped, leaving the crowd behind. Sorami stayed a foot behind Virgil keeping her distance like the other digidestined would drag her back into being one of them again. But Virgil had the same awkward expression, he always had when he was around Juniko, which made her annoyed with him.

"Now that Virgil is here we can use the archive to search for the digidestined that are missing, namely Takajin, Mikuni, and Hikaru, I sent messages to them but none of them have responded. Would the archive know where they are?" Juniko asked, biting her bottom lip for a second, then stopped hoping no one had seen that. "Please, we need every digidestined if we are to defeat Erebosmon and his Ouroboros Knights"

"We will find them, remember the legendary digidestined, even the sages protected by digidestined, we're able to travel in that darkness that's now expanded to envelop almost the entire world, they are probably on the way here" Huang said, placing a hand on Juniko's shoulders "You helped me overcome my hatred, now I am going to help you overcome your fears, we will find and guide them home"

Juniko expression lightened like a weight was lifted from her shoulders "You are right, I shouldn't be worried, they are probably fine" She said, she resolved to renew.

"Everyone, in the archive, we need to leave, the mirror, and the archive, have pinned a big bullseye on this place, they could show up at any minute" Said Virgil, looking around, as he finished, stream of darkness streaked down from the sky, and landed, appearing from it was, a man with armor depicting the sun and lines symbolizing streams of air, in the center was the symbol of the creature eating its own tale. He was golden blonde, with blue highlights, his skin an olive in complexion.

"I am Aethermon, and I am not here to hurt, I have a message to deliver, you can't beat us, surrender incarnation, and lay your Digi chips on the ground. They won't win, they will only delay your demise" he said, running his hand over the sheath of his sword "I know your flaw, their pride, you think because you are digidestined you have a chance. We the Ouroboros Knights will make this a better world, not you"

"All I heard there was bravado, we are not prideful it's you" Juniko said, eying the newcomer, slipping her hand into her pocket for her Digi chip, her Mikemon joining, sharing the same look of determination.

"We aren't handing over our friend to anyone, especially monsters like you" Huang said, as woke up Babydimon.

"Yes, I am a monster" Aethermon said, still running his hands across his, its yellowish silver hilt, glistened in the sunlight. "Go ahead digivolve them, I want to see this in person this time, even trapped we saw everything, and know you all, " he just stood there like he was taunting them to do something.

Huang puts his Digi-chip in his digivice, while Juniko and Virgil hesitated, something felt wrong about this, why wasn't Aethermon attacking, something was weird, he was one of the Ouroboros knights that had engaged them at the Oasis, was this a show of ego right now or something else.

"I don't like this" Juniko said, keeping a wary eye on Aethermon, in case he choose that moment to attack. "I think we should just leave"

"You leave, then everyone here will start screaming for mercy, calling for the digidestined, the ones that just ran away" Aethermon said, a small smirk crossing his face.

"That's it, Digi synchronization, Hope chip activate" Huang shouted, and charged, while he and Babydimon were enveloped in spheres of light, that moved towards Aethermon, but without removing his sword from his sheath, the spheres shattered, Aethermon slammed the hilt of his sword into the ribcage of Huang, causing him to crumple to the ground, having had the air driven out of his lungs. Aethermon kicked Huang back to where he had started.

"Huang!" Juniko shouted, as she ran towards her fallen companion. She checked if he was ok, and found he was still breathing.

"Is he ok?" Virgil shouted, towards Juniko, which she nodded in response, he gave a sigh of relief.

"I didn't think you Digidestined, you seemed to show more fight, when you fought the Kurokami Brigade, or even against paradigm shift, you are so pathetic" Aethermon said, mocking the digidestined in what sounded like a sympathetic tone.

"Digidestined did kick your brother's ass, Ikelosmon went down like a bitch, and we will kick your ass just the same, it might not look like it now, but we will keep coming back till you are gone" Huang said, struggling with his words, but he managed to get back to his feet. His words seemed to hit Aethermon like a hard slap. He almost unsheathed, but he slid it back in its sheath, a renewed smirk returned to his face.

"Do you know those digidestined, that are missing, you know they are dead right, they got caught in the darkness, and those ravenous rascals out there devoured them, they barely had a chance" Aethermon said, which caused Juniko to drop to her knees. Her face showed the expression of a deer that's just about being hit by a car.

"You Lie!" Juniko screamed, more like pleading that it had to be one, one of the things she cared about the most couldn't be. Gone it just couldn't be. Wouldn't she have felt his death, they were lovers, their feelings connected them.

"Do I?" Aethermon said, turning his back to the digidestined, his smirk thickening "You will soon share their fate"

Juniko runs at Aethermon, Mikemon sprinting by her side, she was screaming nonsense, more like a screeching noise, she had just lost it completely, and she was going to likely get herself killed, but before she could insert her Digi-chip into her digivice, Aethermon was suddenly jerked backwards, like an invisible wall had hit him, and was now pushing him away, Juniko turned to see Kitsumon and Kazemon, their presences expelled Aethermon.

"Princess Juniko, are any of you hurt" Kazemon said, before tripping over her feet, and landing face first in the dirt. Kitsumon watched and sighed, at how clumsy her friend was.

"We sense you were in danger and came right away, from the looks of things it was just in time" Kitsumon said, as Kazemon stood up again.

"What about Lilithia…" Juniko started to say, then something dawned on her "this was a trick, he wanted you to leave Lilithia, but for what reason. At that moment the ground started to shake "everyone get, into the archive, we are heading to Lilithia" they did what they were told, joining them was Echo, aka Sakura. They arrived in Lilithia, just in time to see the tower vanish into the sky. "They played us, and won"

"We are so sorry princess" Kazemon said, as she appeared, looking at the missing tower "This is not good"

The tower appeared over Erebosmon's head, and started to reshape itself, like someone was playing with clay, arranging itself and rearranging itself, and soon it looked like a row of huge graves, each with the Ouroboros knight symbol on it, of the creature eating its own tail "Welcome to the Necropolis" he said, gesturing to the huge monument of a fortress he just created.

"Oh Great how beautiful it is'" A person in a cloak said, before pulling back their hood to reveal Karone Melody. "Have always worshipped you, you and all your glory"

Aethermon appeared at Karone's side, he gave her a wary expression, as he walked by her, then turned his attention to Erebosmon "that was too easy, those humans are so simple to manipulate, father, I almost feel sorry for them" he said, before bowing to his father.

Thanatosmon stepped out of the shadows, looking at Karone, like she was some kind of insect "Why is she even here, she is a child of Lilithmon, she worshipped her as a member of that defunct Kurokami brigade" he said, still taking measure of Karone.

"I have always been a worshipper of chaos, I just hid among them, so I could hopefully glean from Lilithmon, how to break the Tartarus seal and free you all, I am a humble servant of the night" Karone said, appraisingly "I did get you your necropolis I had the idea of distracting those poor digidestined "

"When we should have just killed them and get it over with, why do they still breath air" Thanatosmon said, bringing his sword to bear on Karone.

"Because one of them is reincarnation of Lilithmon, I want to slowly take everything, she cherishes away, so the pain will be prolonged so I can enjoy it, I'll decide when to take any of them out, You got that my son?" Erebosmon said, the room shook momentarily around them, and his voice echoed even though they were outside. This caused everyone there to drop into a bow, even his children.

"But you saw what happened, when I was in Primary Village, I was forced out, Karone did you know I was going to violently cast out as soon as those hybrids appeared?" Aethermon asked, "Because that puts a hamper on things, those hybrids will appear every time one of us threatens the digidestined in a barriered city" he was now taking measure of Karone, waiting for the reaction to his question, all he got was an eye roll.

"Look you got the tower, I know its secrets, and some things in there might help you, to make your own digidestined, what would be more mentally scarring, then digidestined against digidestined, just think about it, I have snuck in the tower, and seen there are digi chips in there, I just needed the tower away from the great old sisters" Karone said, gesturing towards the necropolis "We are your harbingers, we do what is commanded of us"

"I have full confidence in my knights, but I would love to see the suffering that would cause her, digidestined killing digidestined" Erebosmon said, before whispering something into Thanatosmon ear.

"Yes, That's Good. That's Good, Why not! Do you have people in mind for this" Thanatosmon said, turning his attention back to Karone.

That's when Logene, entered the fray, he had people with bags over, their heads, he was guiding them in with chain, he did not speak.

"We have all the test subjects you need, some of them will be perfect" Karone said, liking the expressions, she was getting now, she Logene left taking the test subjects with them.
