Angel: Someone pointed out that I could just ignore some of the comments I get, but at the same time, some of them are just...so ridiculous that I have to say something. I'm an emotional person if you couldn't tell already. So if I do read something that...bugs me, I can't just let it go. Especially since I've gotten some crazy shit from the reviews in my time writing that I can't forget for the life of me, hilariously stupid or just bat-shit insane otherwise. For example, I had a comment on my Dr. Stone story that got WAY out of hand very quickly for me, hopefully those who have read both that and this story know what I'm talking about. I'd rather not reiterate that, so uhhh...go find that review yourself if you're really curious. Shouldn't take too long to look for.
On the other hand, if I get something where someone calls me a racist for the first time...I can't just not comment about it, I'm sorry, that just makes me laugh to this day because of just how ridiculous that was XD So that's just me, a majority of the comments I look forward to anyway from people I know still support me through and through. So it does balance it out mostly. Sure, some of the comments do get under my skin, but it doesn't mean I bend to anyone's will either. And other times, I just address stuff that do warrant an answer from me if it's needed. I've got a question for the viewers out there: what do you think is gonna happen with Izuka in season 6? I'm not spoiling anything still, but I wanna read some theories some of you may have.
Soon, they had made it to the mountains. Izuku peeked around the corner, looking through his binoculars. He could see the train station nearby a river. "The path is heavily guarded," He took notice of the increased amount of police and squad cars. "We're not gonna be able to go this route without fighting our way through."
"And considering we're outnumbered, we don't wanna have to resort to that. Not to mention that we'd just get chased again, tch," Izuka scoffed in almost a Katsuki way, mainly because she hated how the police acted with them.
Izuku looked up at the mountain. "Our only choice is to scale these ridges."
Rody clamped his mouth shut, glancing at Izuka. "Can't you fly?"
"I can, but they'd recognize it, and if I teleport, I'd end up accidentally teleporting us to them. I don't know what the top of the mountain looks like for me to visualize it..."
"And you'd have to fly to be able to see it, right. And just visualizing a mountain would get us to a different one," Rody finished knowingly as she sighed, wishing that her teleportation could've helped.
"Get on my back," Izuku positioned himself, holding out his hands. "Hurry."
"Deku," Rody held out the case to him. "Take this."
"What's the deal?" Izuku looked up in confusion.
"It'll be difficult for you to carry me with that injury from the arrow. Same with Callista and her stitched hand. This is where I say goodbye."
"What?" Izuka gasped towards him in alarm.
"Hold on!" Izuku protested to Rody. "The truck's out of gas. I can't leave you alone in a place like this!"
"Come on, you know how fast I can run in a pinch," He shrugged it off. "I'll scrounge up some food, then I'll wait for you. You go figure out what's up with this case," He held out the briefcase with a smile. "That's what we're here for."
"But, Rody..." Izuku's eyes softened a little.
"I'm not okay doing that, though," Izuka gave him a small frown.
"I'm countin' on you, heroes." The two flinched at the word and then nodded in agreement. Izuka was still hesitant, but...it might be their only option. Izuku was about to take the case when a helicopter was heard. They looked up...to see that Beros had caught up with them.
"It's them!"
Beros fired and the three flinched. Izuku immediately jumped to grab Rody as Izuka jumped after them, the arrows hitting the rocks. Beros fired twice and the twins had to run to avoid them. Once they reached the top, they jumped up into the sky.
"I will not fail again," Beros growled out while firing, the twins running around to avoid the shots. The archer gasped in shock for the twins' speed.
"Use these," Her comrade held out his hand, creating black orbs from his knuckles. She took them and fired one, which expanded in size as it got closer to the three. Izuku was barely able to avoid it as Izuka had used Jupiter Wind to deflect it. Rody let out a yelp, the impact of the attack being heard by the police.
"Aw, dammit! They're gonna flatten us!" Rody cried out while hanging onto the case. The black orbs continued to be fired at them. Izuku ran along the rocks, Izuka jumping up and summoning her flying star to land on. She took off after the two, Izuku gasping sharply as he looked up, the orbs falling down towards them. As they fell, Izuku used Blackwhip on the plane. Izuka threw Black Hole in the air, using Jupiter Wind to throw the attack inside. The portal then appeared at the back of the plane for her to hang onto. The boy let out a grunt as Rody hung on tightly.
"Delaware Smash! Air Force Kick!" Izuku kicked a burst of wind at the plane to knock it off course. The pilot let out a terrified scream as Izuka let go of the plane. As she did, Izuku landed first, and then she landed behind him. The two rolled down the rocks until Izuku hit the larger one first. He looked up and reached out his hand to grab his sister's to catch her. "Rody! Are you okay?!"
"Yeah, maybe," Rody grunted out as he had taken a hard landing as well, but none of them had the briefcase anymore. "The case!" He ran to grab it, a shadow flying over their heads. The twins gasped as Rody didn't see it.
"Watch out!"
"RODY!" Izuka ran forward and tossed Black Hole towards Rody to get him away from the Black Orbs that were trying to hit him. He grabbed the case just after he fell though the portal, but he went too far off the cliff. He grabbed the rock, dangling from the mountain. "OH MY GOD, NO!" She screamed in dismay that Black Hole sent him too far out. Probably because of the terrain...
"RODY!" The two shouted, a bunch of smoke coming in. The villain Beros was working with fell from the plane with a huge grin. He landed in front of them while holding up a Black Orb, Rody gritting his teeth.
"DEKU, CATCH IT!" He shouted as he threw the briefcase over.
"I'm coming!" Izuku shouted while Izuka couldn't risk using Black Hole, not after what she just did to Rody. Izuka grabbed her brother by the back of his overalls, jumping backwards as an arrow prevented them from getting closer. And Beros continued firing to stop them.
"For the salvation of humanity...!" Before the villain could knock Rody off, the rocks fell and he tumbled towards the ground...that is, until a flurry of ice came in to stop the villain. Then it vaulted down to catch Rody, and he yelped in alarm. He spun around on the ice before being lifted up to the twins. However, the ice was too jagged for it to be from Izuka.
The two gasped in realization. "Wait, is this...Todoroki?!" The twins turned around to see him standing above them.
"You learned nothing from Hosu. Your codes are still hard to decipher," He remarked, looking up with a gasp. He jumped away as Beros fired. She was about to attack when she saw something approaching.
"Oh, don't even try it!" Katsuki was flying with his explosions and he vaulted into the sky. He made one hand into a circle, using it to fire AP Shot. He managed to hit the plane and Shoto looked up while skating on ice.
"WAIT!" The villain called out and the boy came to a stop. "Free me, I'll do whatever you want!"
"Tell me everything you know, and maybe I'll consider it!"
"Fine, yeah! You got it!" The villain cried, as he just wanted to stay alive. Before he could say anything, Shoto ran and jumped as another arrow fired, exploding the ice around in pieces.
"DIE, YOU TRAITOR!" Beros screamed from the flying plane.
"Damn it!" Shoto looked up angrily towards her. "Bakugo, take her down!"
"Don't give me orders!" He soared up to the plane, using his explosions to dodge the arrows. He flew around using his hands to alternate his movements, soaring up to the plane. He hung onto the back of it and Beros reached for her quiver. She gasped in horror as she realized...she used up all her ammo.
"We're out of control!" The pilot called out to her, and she knew...that she wouldn't be able to prevail for Flect Turn. And she did not want to surrender.
"Stand down and come quietly," Katsuki growled out to the archer. He gasped sharply as she willingly dropped her bow.
"For humanity's salvation..." She then fell off the plane, to the shock of the four. The plane then crashed into the rocks and exploded into flames. The pilot had used a parachute to get away.
"All units, get over there!"
Izuku frowned deeply, his eyebrows furrowed as he wished Beros didn't make the choice she did...he gasped as he ran over and slid to a stop in front of Rody. "Rody! Are you alright?!"
"Yeah, but I'm not sure how," He gave a weak smile as Izuka slid over to them.
"Thank goodness you're safe," She returned his smile...and then they realized they were missing something.
"Where is it?!" Rody looked around in a panic.
"Midoriya, Mido," Shoto walked over with the case. "I grabbed this."
"You're a lifesaver!" Izuka smiled as she got onto her feet, taking it from him.
"Thanks, Todoroki!" Izuku told him gratefully. "But, how did you find us?"
"All thanks to their flashy attack, I spotted you from the train," Shoto looked up, as he and Katsuki were on the train that was nearby. He then noticed Rody. "Is he the one you were talking about on the phone?"
"Yeah, that's right," Izuku nodded in confirmation. "He's been pegged as a criminal like us. His name is Rody Soul."
"Hey, thanks for the assist," Rody smiled up at Shoto as Pino landed on his shoulder.
"More importantly," Katsuki slid over to the group, flinching as he saw Rody and Izuka together. "Who's this extra?!"
"Deku just said it..." Rody mumbled as Izuka flinched upon seeing the boy.
"Katsu!" She then snapped out of it, shaking her head. "Wait, but what are you doing here?"
"I asked you a question first!" He pointed out to the girl.
"Oh, is she your girlfriend?" Rody looked between the two, smiling in a bit of amusement as the two froze. Izuku and Shoto stared at them silently. "Is that why she was interested because your attitude sucks?"
"What?!" Katsuki growled down at him, already pissed.
"What?!" Izuka screeched out in shock. "What-no, no, no, wha—wha-whaaaaaaaaa!" She cried out with wide eyes, freaking out at the...assumption. But no, she was still not dating Katsuki, even if they did go out on a date. And it wasn't like she was rushing to make things official either... "Okay, um..." She coughed awkwardly, blushing a little. "That is not even relevant."
"Well, you're on a first-name basis with him so that counts for something, right?" Rody rubbed his chin, grinning up at her. "Come on, why can't we be like that?"
"Hey asshole, I remember her just saying that she doesn't care about you!" Katsuki snapped while pointing down at him, and he was more angry that Rody was apparently with Izuka the whole time. Rody held up his hands in protest, hoping not to get hit because he was already close to almost dying today.
"I think she's the sweetheart who can speak for herself..." He muttered, and Katsuki froze upon hearing the name. He took a few seconds to process what he just heard...and slowly turned his face into a sneer.
"THE FUCK DID YOU JUST CALL HER?!" The blond shouted down at Rody, who gave a terrified look and backed away. Katsuki was then seething because absolutely no one got to call Izuka sweetheart or her first name besides him. Not that he had ever thought about calling her that in the first place, but now he was very tempted to give her a better nickname than some dude he didn't want to know.
"Will you stop?" Izuka pleaded with him, as he was making it worse...
"Bakugo and Mido are capable of working things out," Shoto simply stated, causing Izuka's blush to deepen. Katsuki let out an angry growl as Izuku smiled nervously at the two. He was starting to regret telling Shoto his feelings about Izuka if he was hinting right to her about them.
"Todoroki!" Izuka groaned towards her friend. Luckily, she didn't seem to catch on. Rody glanced between the four of them, wondering if this was how they normally interacted outside of dangerous situations.
"You guys are like this every day?" He murmured to himself, Pino chirping as she tilted her head.
"Not usually, Kacchan tends to be less worked up around her..." Izuku told his friend, knowing that Katsuki was not happy with Rody around his sister...
"AHHHH, the damn case! It's somehow connected to Humarise!" Katsuki pointed towards it angrily, deciding to change the subject. Because the last thing he wanted to talk about was his love life with a total stranger, Izuka's brother, and Shoto for obvious reasons.
"Seriously?!" Izuka yelped at the boy.
"What?! Are you certain about that?" Izuku questioned his childhood friend in alarm.
"Yes. Our goal was to save both it and you," Shoto informed the twins. "We thought it was possible we'd be able to get some useful intelligence."
Izuku frowned, knowing that the case had nothing useful inside...he then gasped as he noticed something and grabbed the case.
"What's the matter, Midoriya?"
"A compartment!" Izuku noticed that there was something sticking out from the bottom of the case...
