Angel: In regards to what desiree said about Izuka turning into a magpie harpy after getting an Awakening, uhhh, agree to disagree on that. I don't necessarily agree with the harpy aspect, but Izuka does go through...something in season 6. Not a harpy form, but I also can't say much. And there's one moment I wanna give her when season 8 comes out, but I'm not worrying about that until the scene I want to do it is animated.
As the smoke was clearing, the group of five were hiding behind a rock. Izuku hummed in thought while staring at what the hidden object was. He had never seen it before, though. "What is this?" Izuku murmured while fiddling with something very familiar... "How does it work?" He moved the sides as the others stared.
"Try pressing it right here?" Shoto suggested while pointing, Rody behind him.
"That'll just make it go back to how it was," Izuku frowned a little. Katsuki was tapping his foot impatiently and then he flinched as he saw Izuka's bandaged hand.
"Did the ones chasing you do that? Deku was supposed to protect you, dammit!" Katsuki grunted as he took her wrist, looking at her hand. She flinched from his touch, trying not to blush around him.
"He has been, so it's not his fault," Izuka snatched her hand back. "It's just a cut, I'll be fine. It was that archer who did this a few days ago."
"Yeah, sure," He mumbled while bending down to examine it. As soon as he saw the stitch work, he froze and then clamped his mouth shut. "This patch job is shit." I can't believe she had to fight off those bastards for this long. Damn it...if I had gotten here sooner, she wouldn't even need to go through this.
"I did my best, Kacchan..." Izuku looked disappointed with himself, tears streaming down his face as his tone was in dismay. He was so sad that his childhood friend was dissing him like this...
"Figures you did this," Katsuki huffed after hearing this.
Izuka rolled her eyes as she grabbed her hand back again, and he grabbed her wrist, daring her to not let him help. She stared at his face, knowing that a bunch of thoughts were in his head, and if she could ease one, it would be about her safety. The girl sighed in defeat as she let him take a closer look.
"This is hard," Izuku muttered as Rody got a closer look at the object. "It's still not working..."
"Ah, hand it over, I'll blow it up!" Katsuki shouted in irritation as he was getting tired of waiting.
"What? No! You can't do that, Kacchan!" Izuku protested while Rody was stuck in thought. "Besides, I think to you, Izuka's health is more important."
"The hell did you just say to me?" Katsuki grunted angrily and Izuka facepalmed in response.
"We're not getting into this again..." She muttered loud enough for them to hear.
"Deku, can I see that for a second?" Rody took the object, bending down.
"You know how to solve it?" Shoto wondered in a bit of surprise. Izuka stared at them, wincing as Katsuki was re-stitching her wound. He was not happy about Izuku's correct assumption, though...
"I did a puzzle like this before when I was a kid," Rody revealed as he did the same steps his father showed him when he was a kid. "Let's see...like this..." He then pulled out one part like before. "Ah, yeah!" He smiled as he pulled apart the secret compartment. "I think I got it!" He pulled apart the compartment to reveal a long rectangular object and a computer card.
"I'm not sure what this is," He frowned in bewilderment.
"We need to figure out what's stored in this card. Okay, there's a town at the foot of the mountain," Shoto stated, Katsuki staring at the others. "Let's investigate there."
Rody stared at the puzzle with a small glare, wondering why this specific puzzle had to be used...did his dad have something to do with it? He was the only one who knew of its design, after all...but he hadn't seen his father in years. Even if Eddie Soul was still at Humarise...he still wanted nothing to do with his father.
"Rody?" He blinked up at Izuka staring at him. "You coming?"
"Uh, yeah, I'm coming, swee—uhh, Callista," Rody held up his hands nervously as Katsuki was seething towards him.
"Mmm," Izuka glared up at Katsuki and jumped up to smack him on the head. He grunted in pain as she walked past him, unamused. "Will you quit that? We have more important things to take care of than your pettiness."
"Hit me again, and you'll die!" He shouted after the girl.
"Are they always like this?" Rody whispered to Izuku and Shoto, the former smiling with a hum.
"They usually get along pretty well, until he gets worked up," He chuckled awkwardly, scratching his cheek. "He's the one I mentioned before that used to bully her a lot until they managed to get along..."
"I see..." Rody stared at the two while Pino was a bit terrified to say the least.
"The targets fled to the neighboring country of Klayd," The Otheon Police Commissioner reported to Flect Turn. "I'm afraid I don't have the authority to search inside their borders, sir."
"No matter," Flect Turn remarked confidently, causing his follower to gasp. "If they have fled the country, then they won't be able to interfere with the plan while it's being carried out, will they?" He then held up the dagger he always carried about his head. "The time for revelation and the great reckoning has come!" He declared to the rest of his members.
"For humanity's salvation!" They all cheered in unison, their fists to their chests. "For humanity's salvation! For humanity's salvation! For humanity's salvation!"
"For the salvation...of humanity," Flect Turn stated, pressing a button to the dagger. It then started to glow yellow, and the machine glowed purple. The wires started to glow as the machine activated...and then around the world, a bunch of marks on the radar lit up. The Humarise members gasped sharply as he held out his hands.
"Emergency alert, sir!" Someone reported from where Toshinori was. "Humarise has started a broadcast, and it's streaming across the planet!"
"Put it on the screen!"
He did so, and soon, Humarise's symbol was on the screen. "Humarise will now fulfill its purpose," Flect Turn's voice was heard...as he was streaming across the entire world. "To protect the pure humans who are called powerless." Mirio, Mr. Aizawa, Mina, Toru, Yuga, Tenya, and Koda all watched the TV in terror. "Against those who have been infected by the wicked disease known as Quirks."
Tenya stood up, absolutely disgusted to see a villain organization openly broadcast their goals to terrify innocent people. He clenched his shaking fists, having faith the classmates out on the mission would succeed. And he wished that he was drafted with Manual Agency to go and help his friends, but alas, he and the remaining classmates weren't...
"We have developed humanity's salvation devices that will cleanse this world. Soon, they will be activated in 25 countries." Ryukyu's team and the team of the Lurkers were watching as well in anger.
"Seriously?!" Minoru held his head in a panic.
"This deliverance from evil shall be witnessed by all in 2 hours!" Fat Gum's team gasped in shock, though some of them were pretty pissed.
"That's hardly any time at all!" Fat Gum gritted his teeth, angry that they still couldn't find their leader.
"However, we are not without mercy," Flect Turn continued as Hawks' team watched as well. "If you wish to prevent this plan from going into effect...we will generously reveal to countries where our devices have been installed." Majestic gripped his fist tightly as Momo rubbed her chin in thought.
"What is he playing at?" She couldn't help but wonder.
"Even if you do not understand our righteous cause...you will have a chance to live on," The map of the devices was then shown to everyone.
"Director! These are the 25 zones the bombs are placed in! They match up with the locations of known Humarise branches!" Toshinori gritted his teeth, as did the Director.
"It's possible that it's a giant trap!" An operative spoke up in concern.
"But we can't afford to be that cautious," Toshinori stated, the Director nodding in agreement.
"Give marching orders to the hero teams on standby!" He ordered from his podium.
"Yes, sir!" He then turned around after seeing a bunch of warning screens. "There's widespread panic in each of the 25 affected zones!"
People everywhere were running in a panic around the world... "Surrounding areas are in chaos as well!"
Cars were going out of control, one hitting a truck before there was a huge car crash on the streets. "Streets are gridlocked! Transportation is a mess!"
Fat Gum's team ran out to see the damage. "Oh no!" Eijiro gritted his teeth at the panic Flect Turn caused.
"Suneater, you search for anybody who's injured!" Fat Hum immediately ordered his work-study students. "Red Riot and Real Steel, you secure a solid evacuation route!"
"Roger that!" They all shouted while running off.
Tamaki summoned his tentacles. "Chimera Kraken!" He shouted while using them to capture people.
Tetsutetsu turned his body into steel. "Let's do this!" He cried out as he jumped forward.
"Come on, Red Gauntlet!" Eijiro screamed while making his body harden. He then punched a truck out of the way with his fist. "This is your way out!" He shouted to the citizens around.
"Don't stand there gawking, go!" Real Steel urged as people ran past them.
"Cementoss!" Present Mic kneeled on the road.
"Make it a loud one, Mic!" Cementoss touched the ground to let Present Mic fly upwards using a pillar made out of the road. Present Mic took a deep breath.
"Listen up, everybody!" He shouted at the top of his lungs using his Quirk. "We've got a rocking platform over here, so get to sliding!"
"Remain calm," Cementoss stated while people slid down the slide he made. "Don't panic." He then looked up at a high-rise building, where sonar waves were being given off. "We're counting on you, sonar team."
"Find me that Trigger Bomb immediately," Gang Orca informed the recon team, including his work-study students. "Hear me?"
"Understood, sir!"
In another country, cars were being lifted up. "Ribbit!" Tsuyu used her tongue to grab a car.
"We've got the evacuation under control!" Ochaco called out to Nejire and Ryukyu, lifting up a car.
"Then it's up to us to find the enemy's device!" Ryukyu stated to Nejire and her sidekick.
"Right!" The three took off in different directions.
"Tsukuyomi, leave the evacuations to the American team!" Hawks ordered while flying next to Fumikage. "It'll be easier for us to find that death bomb with a birds-eye view!"
"Roger that!" Fumikage swooped down so that they could split up.
"Go, Fierce Wings!" He sent out a bunch of feathers. "Leave no corner unsearched!"
"Tokage, take these sensors and spread them around the city!" Momo informed while making the sensors using Creation.
"No sweat!" Setsuna then split her body into pieces. "We won't let anyone die today!"
"Momo," Majestic flew up to her. "Shall we head to the next spot?" He created a platform for her to fly on.
"Yes, sir!"
Mt. Lady was bigger, locating people to evacuate. "How are we supposed to find a tiny bomb hiding somewhere in this huge city?!" Minoru called out to Hanta and Denki.
"Hello, hello, hello!"
"Whoa, Salaam!" The boys exclaimed upon seeing him.
"You must find what you seek, not seek what you find!" He declared while speeding past traffic, thanks to being made out of paper. "Follow me, young ones!"
"He's so fast!"
"Guess being paper-thin has its perks!" Hanta exclaimed in surprise at the hero.
Endeavor and his team were in the sky to search. "Clair, where's the device, dammit?!" He shouted in frustration while flying with Burnin.
"There's no sign of it in this area!" Clair reported while the flying squirrel hero took her around. "Moving to the next location!"
People down below were freaking out while running.
Shoto... Endeavor thought in worry, hoping that Shoto wasn't down there. What are you doing? Hurry up and get back here!
