Angel: Izuka getting into a coma in season 6 is an interesting theory, but I also can't confirm or deny the theory. She does go through something, but I can't say what. Wait, wasn't Izuku technically in one too now that I'm thinking about it...? Anyway, Izuka's mural being defaced...actually, Light Seeker 101 is on the right track, but it's not season 6. Just gotta wait and see!
Izuka going undercover, mmm...similar, but not quite. But god no, I'm not gonna have Katsuki tell Izuka he feels nothing for her in a genuine sense. He did say once he felt nothing for her, but he said it in like a tsundere way, he didn't actually mean it. If I ever wrote that he did mean it that it actually hurt her, I'm gonna get a bunch of angry comments XD Trust me, he won't do that. Especially since he already told Shoto he does love her. But fairly early in season 6, he does start to feel somewhat similar to what he went through in season 3 towards his relationship with Izuka.
In Seaside Hotel, the five had found a computer room to put the computer card in. Once it was done uploading into the computer, numerous folders appeared from the screen. "So many folders!" Izuku exclaimed in shock. "Where do we even start?"
"Move it," Katsuki pushed the boy aside. "Where's the most recent timestamp? It's this video file," He then pulled it up for them to watch. They all gathered around the computer to listen to the audio recording.
"Hello. My name is Alan Kay," The man introduced himself after a few seconds. "Along with several other scientists, I was kidnapped by Humarise."
"Kidnapped?" Izuku frowned while Rody gritted his teeth. He didn't even know about it...
"In order to enact their plans, Humarise took our families hostage, and forced us to manufacture Quirk-factor triggering bombs against our wills." Izuka flinched, realizing that this must've been how Humarise managed to pull off their recent attack... "The first terrorist attack using one of these devices was merely a ploy. To gather the world's top heroes in places where Humarise branches are located." Shoto, the twins, and Katsuki all gasped in alarm while standing next to each other. "The group is planning to use these horrible bombs to eradicate those pros. In an instant, the hero population will be decimated." They all gasped sharply again in horror, Katsuki gritting his teeth in anger. "After losing its top heroes, society would collapse. Using the vacuum of chaos afterward, Humarise will wipe out anyone with powers and build a world where the Quirkless are allowed. That is the true goal of Flect Turn, the leader of Humarise. A madman...I hope my voice will reach the heroes in time. Eddie Soul, another scientist here, lost his life helping me. He made the key I've included that will disarm the bombs at their base. Please...save the world."
Izuku slowly took the key, Izuka having covered her mouth in disbelief hearing the name. She slowly looked up at Rody while her brother examined the object. "Rody..." She whispered sadly at the news, knowing that he didn't care about his father. But now...he had lost the only remaining parent in his life... Pino's tears fell from her eyes, and suddenly there were screams. The other four looked back as people ran past them in a panic.
"I repeat, Humarise, the organization abdicating for the salvation of humanity, has placed bombs around the world. The weapons are set to explode in one hour and 52 minutes unless the heroes are able to find and disarm them worldwide." Izuku stood in front of the TV while it broadcasted the breaking news, narrowing his eyes. Izuka clenched a fist to her heart, knowing that she couldn't allow Flect Turn to get away with terrorizing scientists and their families. Nor would she allow him to frighten people like this... "As you might expect, panic has gripped the areas where the devices are said to be located. Heroes have been working to evacuate people to safety and subvert the attack. Areas in danger of being affected by the bombs are as follows."
Rody gasped sharply as he ran up, looking at the map. "No, it can't be!" He exclaimed while looking at a particular area. "That circle's in Otheon! My house is inside of it!"
"Oh no," Izuku murmured in realization while people in the lower-class area were running away from their mobile homes. Roro and Lala looked outside in fear, Roro hugging his crying sister in fear. She hid her face into his chest and he hugged her close, both of them still unaware of where Rody was...
"Where are you?" He murmured, hoping his big brother didn't abandon them like their father did.
Rody gritted his teeth, seething. If he didn't do something to help the heroes, he would never see his brother and sister again...and he also hated having to be gone for so long away from them.
Shoto ran towards the computer. "We should send this to HQ and have them order the hero teams to retreat before it's-"
"We can't do that," Katsuki interrupted, causing Shoto to turn around. The twins stared at Katsuki as his eyes were shaking...because he knew that the heroes wouldn't stop doing what they trained their whole lives to do. Izuku slowly nodded in agreement.
"The heroes are out there looking for the Trigger bomb. Even if they're the actual targets of the terrorist attack...even if they know this is a trap. As long as there are people who need help...the pros will never leave them and run away. That's what makes them heroes!" He clenched an angry fist, as he would do the same thing if he were them. "Humarise counted on this when they came up with their plan."
"If you were told you were a target, would you walk away from people in need? Even if you didn't know where it was coming from?" Izuka stared at Shoto intensely, Katsuki glancing up at her. "I agree with Katsu and my brother. Even if it's a lost cause...we can't send this to HQ! We can't give up on saving the world!" She narrowed her eyes angrily; she wasn't going to back down just because of the danger they were in...
Katsuki's eyes slowly widened at her as the four UA students didn't say a word for a few seconds...because they all could agree on something for once.
"Then we use that disarming key. It's up to us to stop those bombs!" Shoto declared to the four, causing them to flinch and look up.
"But how do we do that?" Izuku looked at the key.
"On it!" Katsuki pushed Shoto away a little to reach the computer. "The answer has to be in here somewhere! You're an idiot if you make a key without telling people where the lock is. Izuka, come here. Like I taught you."
She faltered for a second before stepping up and sitting in front of the computer. "Right!"
"We look for the place that wasn't part of their announcement," Katsuki started off as Izuka typed away, pulling up the map from the broadcast and the map from the computer to compare them. She quickly managed to find a place that wasn't marked on both maps. "This is where their base is."
Rody and Izuku both gasped in surprise that Katsuki taught Izuka and that they managed to pin it down so fast. "Kacchan, Izuka, can you find where the bomb controls are?" Izuku asked as he ran up.
"Let her work, ya damn nerd," Katsuki retorted back as she typed rapidly, the boys surrounding her.
"If we triangulate the coordinates of the layout just based on the one we saw, then maybe-"
"Hurry, please," Izuku urged her and she looked back at him with a silent death glare and grunt. He froze and then clamped his mouth shut, knowing that she had to concentrate. And she was well aware of the situation that they were in right now, but still. She went back to typing to zero in on the controls.
"Watch out for the security. We don't wanna tip anyone off," Katsuki pointed out to the girl.
"Yes, because this is helping my concentration right now," She rubbed a temple at the back-seating.
"Maybe you should do it since you taught her," Rody glanced towards Katsuki and Izuka stopped with a blank look. None of them were even paying attention to the computer anymore.
"That doesn't seem very fair to Mido," Shoto looked up at the three.
"What the hell do you know about fairness?" Katsuki sneered a little and Izuka sighed slowly, unamused by the arguing.
"You know, it's a wonder she can put up with you for so long," Rody remarked while raising a brow, earning a growl from the boy in return. Izuka tapped her finger against her cheek impatiently as she could not focus with this going on.
"Shouldn't we be making sure she's doing it right?" Izuku frowned in disapproval towards the two.
The girl finally had enough and raised her fists above her head. "SHUSH!" She screamed in a high-pitched voice and slammed them down on the table, getting their attention as she looked pissed. All four looked at her wide-eyed, knowing that if they kept arguing while she was trying to work, she would make them regret it.
"...Sorry," They all mumbled in unison, watching her adjust her hair that got a bit frizzy. She then took a small breath to calm down. The girl went back to work as she managed to pinpoint where the controls were without further issue.
"The furthest area underground," Izuku murmured once the image came up of the machine Humarise was using. "And since when did Kacchan teach you how to hack?"
"He was teaching me to bypass a firewall so that I could find tickets to a highly private art festival I wanted to go to. Their security was crazy," She explained and Rody looked up in shock that Katsuki taught her computer skills for something she liked.
"Wait, technically speaking, you did that for her?"
"No," He huffed, looking away as this was the last thing he wanted to admit. "It was so she wouldn't frustrate me with the sad expression she had all week whining about how she couldn't get the damn tickets."
"Anyway," Shoto stared at the three, deciding to drop it for now. "So we know where it is, but it's more than 400 kilometers away from where we are," He gave a small frown.
"We can make it." They all looked up at Rody, as he was looking at a map from the other computer. "I think I know how to get us there," He pointed to a spot on the map, as he recognized the area well.
"We need to talk first, though." Izuka flinched from Katsuki's stare directed at her. He knew that if he didn't say it now, he wouldn't have time to. Things had gotten crazy ever since he left Otheon, and he had to set some of them straight.
She looked away a bit sadly, knowing where this was going. "Yeah, you would cut to the chase, huh…?"
"Without them here," He declared, glaring at the others since he knew that they would say something if they overheard him.
"Understandable," She cleared her throat awkwardly as Rody, Shoto, and Izuku were watching them. A few seconds passed and Izuku flinched.
"Oh! Right! Sorry, we'll just wait for you outside," He realized what Katsuki had said, gesturing for Rody and Shoto to leave with him.
"I have to make arrangements anyway," Rody stated as he left first, Pino staring after the two curiously. Before she could fly off, Rody gently grabbed the pink bird.
"Whatever. We'll make it quick," Katsuki grunted as the three closed the door to the room.
"Mm…" Her eyes saddened towards him, remembering that he wanted to talk to her before she went silent a few days ago. And considering his reaction in Hosu, she would probably get the same thing here... "I know what you're gonna say…"
"Yeah? You wanna save me the time and just say it?" He crossed his arms, closing his eyes.
She bit her lip from the response, the reaction letting her know that it wasn't looking so great on her end. "Look, I know that it's bad, but the mass murder…I don't know how it happened, I was chasing Rody. The next thing I knew, case is empty and then—"
"You really think I care?!" She flinched from his sudden outburst as he glared down at her. "Or that I would think you'd do something like that? I thought you were smarter than this, Izuka. I know you didn't want me to come!" He accused, pointing down at her.
The girl glared up at him defiantly at his assumption that she did it because she thought he couldn't handle it. When really, that wasn't even close to the real reason. "Because I thought you would stop caring!" She interjected and he flinched, seeing her teary eyes. "I didn't want to know if you believed I was a killer! Your opinion was the most I was dreading…because I don't want you to see me like that. I know you think I'm a good fighter, Katsuki. I don't wanna be the same mouse I was to you before!"
Katsuki swore silently to himself for making her cry, placing a hand on his head. He would admit that he did screw up a little there. Even if somehow she did end up killing someone, he wouldn't resort to that level. He then took a small breath, staring down at her. "I didn't see you as a murderer, I don't, and I never will in my damn life. Let's get that straight into your skull, moron."
"I'm sorry I doubted you," She sniffed a little and he stepped up calmly.
"Listen, Izuka, you got into some bullshit. So what? That doesn't mean I won't keep you safe, or that I'll stop protecting you. I can't do either unless you trust me fully," He narrowed his eyes a bit. "We've been through too much for me to go back to bullying you…like when we were brats." True, she was with Rody for a while, which he didn't like at all. That didn't mean he stopped caring.
"I know. I'm sorry…I'll make sure I'll never make you worry again! I promise," The girl declared while clenching her fists and he faltered, blushing a little.
"…Thanks. And if that guy keeps flirting with you again, I'll make sure he never speaks for the rest of his life," Katsuki grunted in annoyance, causing her to stiffen and look away awkwardly. Rody had mostly dropped it, but if he kept pushing Katsuki's buttons, well...
"Ohh…uh, don't worry about him. I can't stand it any more than you do. Besides, it's not like I asked him to do it..."
Katsuki then pulled her in for a hug. "I'll make sure those Humarise bastards regret even uttering your name to the cops. Just…don't ignore me again. I should be getting more hugs just for you making my heart beat too much in my damn chest."
She closed her eyes while hugging him, feeling much better. "I'll hug you a thousand times over when we get home."
He blushed while looking away, feeling a bit embarrassed. Plus he didn't want her to hug him every single day if it meant he'd have to deal with the others teasing them. "Never mind. I'll crush your tiny body with ease if you do."
"Mmmm!" She pulled away with an angry pout.
"What? That just means you need more training! That's how you'll be in my debt!" He smirked, hands on his hips. "We can go mountain climbing."
"Sure, as long as you don't get there early like our last date," She smirked back at him. He froze as she walked away triumphantly.
"Get back here, dammit! It's not what you think—stop smiling!" Katsuki yelled after her, but got no response in return.
