IN LOVING MEMORY OF BRITT ALLCROFT

1943 – 2024

"And helping each other, brings to life the magic in all of us".

It was a bright sunny day on the Island of Sodor. Over in Ffarquhar, Thomas and Toby were visiting McDonalds with Lucy and Henrietta due to them having the day off. When they arrived at the restaurant, they saw that there was a bit of que and so they decided to sit outside and wait for it to die down a bit, whilst they did, they both heard a pair of familiar voices.

"Thomas, Lucy, Toby, Henrietta" came the voice.

Thomas and Toby both turned around to see Percy and Daisy coming towards. Thomas and Toby both shook their hands in greetings.

"Percy and Daisy," said Thomas.

"What are you two doing here?" asked Toby.

"Well since we both had the day off and decided to treat ourselves," said Percy.

"And so, we decided to come down here and we met you" said Daisy, "but there seems to be a bit of a que".

"Don't worry" said Toby, "we can just wait outside here a moment until it dies down".

"Why don't you two join us?" asked Thomas.

"We don't see why not" said Daisy.

Percy and Daisy both sat down at the table outside of McDonalds whilst they waited for the que inside to die down.

"So what do we do until the que dies down?" asked Daisy.

"Well maybe I could tell both you two and Lucy one of my stories"? asked Thomas

Lucy and Henrietta looked towards their father and honorary uncle; their eyes widened in excitement.

"Story?" asked Lucy excitedly.

"That's right sweetheart" said Thomas with a smile.

"That sounds like a good idea" said Daisy, "Percy has told me a lot about your stories, and I would like to hear one for myself".

"Okay then" said Thomas, "what story shall I tell?".

Every thought about what story that Thomas could tell them. A suggestion that came into Daisy's head, maybe Thomas' story could be about of when she first arrived on the North Western Railway.

"Maybe you could tell the story of when I first arrived Thomas?" suggested Daisy before she looked shameful, "you know when I was a lazy diva".

"Don't Daisy" said Percy to his girlfriend reassuringly, "you've come a long way since then and you are now a hard worker".

"That's Percy" Daisy replied to her boyfriend with a lovingly smile.

"That's a food idea Daisy" said Thomas before he turned to Lucy and Henrietta, "you interested girls?".

"Aunt Daisy story daddy" said Lucy excitedly.

"Yes please Uncle Thomas" replied Henrietta.

"Right then" said Thomas as he prepared to tell his story, "this all began the day after the Hendersons had that idiot priest drive my E2 into the stationmasters house".

(Story Begins)

Percy, Toby and Burnett were worried. Thomas' recent accident had caused a great deal of trouble, his E2 had been driven into the stationmaster of Ffarquhar's house by an idiot priest who had been hired by the Hendersons in an attempt to frame Thomas for "stealing" Lady from Ryan. Thankfully Sir Topham Hatt had fired the Hendersons and banned them from ever working on the North Western Railway ever again, he had also given Thomas some paid holiday whilst his E2 was being repaired.

Although they were glad that they wouldn't have to deal with the Hendersons abuse ever again, they were stilled worried. The Ffarquhar branch line had become even more busy lately and with Thomas out of the picture, they would have had to double their efforts, but thankfully Sir Topham Hatt had just hired a new driver the day before.

The three engine drivers had just arrived at Elsbridge station and hopped down from their cabs. They then noticed what appeared to be a sort of green coach with a yellow stripe standing on the opposite side of the platform. They were just about to take a closer look at it when they noticed Sir Topham Hatt and a woman they had never seen before coming towards them.

"Ah Percy, Toby and Burnett" he greeted, "glad you three were able to come".

"Yes Sir" replied Burnett, "we came just as you asked".

"So where is the new driver Sir?" asked Toby.

"That would be me" said the woman, reminding Sir Topham Hatt.

"Right, here" he said, "is Daisy Cammell and her BR Class 101 DMU. Who have come to help us whilst Thomas is away".

Percy, Toby and Burnett looked towards Daisy, particularly Percy who was quite taken aback by her. She was a tall woman in her mid twenties with blonde hair like Lady, green eyes and wore a light green engine drivers' suit. She also had makeup on, red lipstick, blush and eyeshadow. Percy thought that she looked very beautiful, however he soon regained his composure.

"Please Sir" he then asked, "well she go Sir. When Thomas and Lady come back Sir?".

"Percy" said Toby and Burnett sternly.

"That depends" replied Sir Topham Hatt, "meanwhile. However long she stays, I hope that the three of you will make her feel welcome and comfortable".

"Yes Sir" said Toby, "we'll try Sir".

"Excellent" replied Sir Topham Hatt, "now the three of you run along and show her the shed. She'll may want to rest her engine after its long journey".

With that Sir Topham Hatt headed off. Percy, Toby, Burnett and Daisy hopped into their engine cabs and headed off for the engine sheds at Ffarquhar. But when they reached it, the problems began to arise. When they reached the berth that Thomas' E2 was kept, Daisy stopped her Class 101 DMU and shuddered.

"What's the matter Miss Daisy?" asked Toby.

"Its this engine shed" she said.

"Well what's wrong with it?" asked Burnett.

"Its dreadfully smelly" said Daisy indignantly, "my engines highly sprung and anything smelly is bad for its swerves".

Percy, Toby and Burnett looked at each other flabbergasted. They then decided to try the carriage shed, Daisy then backed her Class 101 DMU into the third berth and hopped down. Unlike the engine shed, she was actually pleased.

"This better" she said, "but whatever is that rubbish and those two brats?".

The "rubbish" of course were Thomas' two LMS Suburban Coaches and the two "brats" were Annie and Clarabel who were cleaning the coaches, whilst being supervised by Tanya. When they heard of Daisy's rude insults and were most offended, especially Tanya who had a look of deep disapproval.

"Oh you did not just call us brats?" said Annie.

"We won't stay here to be insulted" added Clarabel, "mom takes us home please, we don't want to be near this crazy cow".

"Will do sweeties" replied Tanya.

Tanya then led Annie and Clarabel home whilst Percy, Toby and Burnett looked at Daisy with disapproval at her insulting her insults. Later that evening, the three of them visited the Billinton household to soothe their hurt feelings.

"I wish Thomas was still here" said Annie sadly.

"Me too" added Clarabel, "then that mean lady wouldn't be here".

"I know its hard girls" Howard told his daughters, "the only ones to blame for this are the Hendersons".

"Thank God we don't have to deal with them anymore," said Toby.

"Hopefully when Thomas and Lady come back Daisy can head off back to where she came from" added Percy.

"You sure Percy?" asked Toby, "because I couldn't help but notice that you were quite taken by her earlier today".

"You don't have a crush on her?" asked Burnett with a mischievous grin.

Percy paled at the mention at this.

"What no" he stammered, "I've got nothing of the sort".

However, Toby, Burnett, Howard, Tanya, Annie and Clarabel all just gave him "sure you don't" looks, which made him blush. The next morning, Daisy woke bright and cheerful.

"Ooh, ooh" she said to herself.

She hopped into her cab and headed off to the station. As she did, Percy and Toby watched her leave as the latter shook his head.

"I hope that she doesn't cause any trouble today" he said to Percy.

"I hope so too" said Percy in a somewhat distracted tone.

Toby then noticed that Percy had a love struck look on his face. Toby then gave a mischievous smile that Percy was thankful that he didn't see. Daisy meanwhile had reached Elsbridge Station and hopped out from her cab, the passengers looked at her Class 101 DMU with interest.

"Look ay my girl" she said proudly to the passengers, "she's the latest diesel. Highly sprung and right up to date, you won't Thomas' bumpy old coaches or his bratty little sisters now".

Reverends Awdry and Boston both had the day off from doing clergy work and running Rainbows End and were spending the day trainspotting. They were currently both visiting Elsbridge and had taken an interest towards Daisy's Class 101 DMU, since it was a single unit and not two unit like the others were.

However, their interest was squashed when they heard Daisy's rude remarks about Thomas' coaches, especially Annie and Clarabel and gave disapproving looks.

"Why would she say something so rude about Annie and Clarabel?" asked Reverend Boston.

"I don't know Teddy" replied Reverend Awdry, "but it do know is that Thomas certainly wouldn't approve of such rude behaviour".

The passengers however were interested in Daisy's Class 101 DMU and hopped onboard and waited for her to start, much to her delight, however that was when the problems began to arise. Daisy was just about to board her engine when noticed that Toby was shunting a milk van so that it could be coupled to her.

Every morning, milk was collected from the farms along the Ffarquhar branch line and put on a van at the station. The milk van was then coupled to Thomas' first train of the day so that he could take it to the dairy. Thomas didn't mind the extra load, but Daisy did and was most indignant.

"Do they expect me to pull that?" she asked crossly poking her head out of the window.

"Surely" said Toby as he hopped down from his cab, "you can pull one van".

"I won't" said Daisy stubbornly, "Percy or Burnett can do it. They love messing about with trucks".

Her Class 101 DMU began to shutter violently.

"Nonsense" Toby said sternly, "now come on back down".

Daisy's Class 101 DMU lurched backwards. She was so cross that it blew a fuss.

"Told you" she said and stopped.

Everybody, Toby, the Stationmaster and the passengers argued with her but it was no good.

"It's fitters orders" she said as she hopped back out of the cab.

"What is?" everyone asked.

"My Class 101 DMU's fitters a very nice man" she explained, "he comes every week and examines her carefully".

(Fantasy Sequence)

Daisy was watching her Class 101 DMU's fitter looked over her in a shed on the Other Railway. He was a tall handsome Spanish man named Jaun in his late twenties, who work a white shirt and blue trousers.

"Well Jaun?" asked Daisy.

"Daisy" he said, "standing up, "your engine is top condition but there is one very important thing for it".

"And what's that?" she asked.

"Never ever let it pull any trucks" he said, "she's highly sprung and pulling is bad for hers swerves".

"Don't worry about" said Daisy, "she won't ever".

"That's good to know" Jaun said.

"Before you go Juan" said Daisy as a mischievous smile came to her face, "would you like me to "thank you"?".

"I thought that you'd never ask Daisy" replied Jaun with a naughty as he took off his shirt, revealing his abbs.

Smiling, Daisy undid the zipper of her overalls and let it fall to the ground. Jaun grew excited when he saw that Daisy wasn't wearing a bra or any underwear. Daisy then got down on her knees as Jaun unzipped his trousers and boxers, revealing his erect penis. Grinning naughtily, Daisy took Jaun's tool in her mouth and began to suck.

(Fantasy Sequence Ends)

Daisy trailed off with a smile. Toby and the stationmaster looked at her blankly, wondering what she was thinking about. Toby then snapped her out of it.

"Daisy" he said.

"Oh what" she asked, breaking out of her trance.

"You were saying about your engines fitter saying that it mustn't pull?" he asked.

"Oh right" she said before her stern and haughty demeanour returned, "he said that my engine mustn't pull and that's that".

"Stuff and nonsense" said the stationmaster.

"I can't understand it" said a shunter, "whatever made Sir Topham Hatt send us such a feeble".

"Feeble, feeble" spluttered Daisy angrily, "let me".

"Stop arguing" grumbled the passengers, "we're late already".

When they noticed that Daisy wasn't going to back down, they uncoupled the milk van from her Class 101 DMU and headed off, leaving a fuming Toby to take the milk.

"Honestly she better not make this a habit" he said to himself.

Daisy meanwhile was smiling to herself, she could now enjoy her journey along the Ffarquhar branch line.

"That's a good story" she said to herself, "I'll do whatever work I want and no more".

But she said it to herself. But what she didn't know was Sir Topham Hatt was going to have a few stern words with her about her behaviour, but that's another story.

(Story Ends)

"And Sir Topham Hatt wasn't too pleased with Aunt Daisy when Uncle Percy had his accident" said Thomas as he finished his story.

"Uncle Percy accident?" asked Lucy curiously.

"That's right sweetie" said Thomas, "but daddy promises that he'll tell the story at bedtime".

"Hey look" said Daisy, "the ques died down".

Thomas, Lucy, Toby, Henrietta and Percy looked inside of the McDonalds and saw that, true to Daisy's word, the que had died down.

"Well then" said Thomas, "why don't we all grab our food?".

"Happy Meal daddy" said Lucy clapping her hands.

"I'm starving" said Toby.

With that, Thomas, Lucy, Toby, Henrietta, Percy and Daisy stood up and headed into the McDonalds to order their food.

And done. I'm sorry that I didn't finish season 2 before the end of 2024, I have no excuse. But when I heard about Britt Allcroft's death, I knew that I had to finish this chapter, but anyway I'm pleased with how it turned out. Please be so kind as to leave a preview and as always see you all next time.
