Hey there! How's it going?

I can't believe I've finally reached chapters in the double digits and have already written 120K words!

I have all the plots for each episode up until Chapter 20 organized by scenes, this story is slowly coming together and I can't wait to have it all written out…

Anyway, no more dragging on the intro, here's Chapter Eleven!

The camera opened up to a view on the docks of the iconic Lake Wawanakwa. Not soon after the camera faded in, Chris McLean popped onto the screen with a confident smile and his slicked black hair.

"Welcome back to Total! Drama! Island!" He greeted to the audience.

"Last time, was probably the most boring challenge we ever had!" Chris had a noticeable distaste in his voice.

"The obligatory cooking challenge! Every reality show has one of these, and Chef kept on lecturing me on how 'these damned teens were ruining up his kitchen!' Poor Chef and his spatula! But he isn't being paid six figures for nothing!"

The host was visibly angry but quickly composed himself before burrowing himself into a rant.

"Anyways! Recap time! Geoff and Justin both lead their teams compared to the usual de facto leaders of Courtney and Heather!" The camera flashed from Justin putting on his chef's hat on his dazzling hair to Geoff replacing his iconic cowboy hat for the Bass chef's hat.

"Of course, Heather and Court weren't too happy with this change, but they both had to shrug it off! Anyways, all that happened was boring cooking stuff with boring conversations, not much teen drama there!" The scene once again flashed to Duncan and Courtney baking cannolis before flashing to Justin expertly preparing his poke bowl.

"The last five minutes were jam-packed with action, however! When Tyler accidentally knocked a hot steaming bowl of marinara sauce right into Bridgette's paw!" The scene flashed to Tyler conversing with Harold before the jock knocked a pot of sauce over with a cheese grater, right onto Bridgette's hand.

"That hurt not only for Bridgette but for the entire Bass as they lost horribly! Miraculously, for the jock, Courtney had set her eyes on executing Tweedledum to throw Tweedledee off of her game!" The scene flashed to Courtney, then Geoff, then Duncan, then Bridgette voting for Sadie.

"And in the oozing tension of the tiebreaker, Bridgette outwitted the fatass! Despite her burnt hand! We even brought in Tweedledee to watch as the heat unfolded!"

Chris laughed at his little pun before the scene flashed to Sadie burning within the giant stove. A horrible death as all of her nerves bathed in agonizing fire, which played and danced all over her collapsing body, melting against the metal as Katie bawled in front of her. The scene flashed forward to a still red-tinted image of the aftermath, where Sadie was nothing but a burnt charred body.

Chris snickered some more before quipping, "She finally burned some calories! Huh? Ah, I truly am the funniest host we've ever had! Anyways, how will the Bass fare today? Just how much trust do they have in each other? And who will be the trustbuster? Find out right here! Right now! On Total! Drama! Island!"

Theme Song

The camera turned from static to the night sky. It was nearing dawn, with the moon lowering into the horizon.

The scene zoomed into the girl's side of the gopher cabin as quiet sobs could be heard.

The view switched to inside the room, where Katie quietly sobbed into her pillow. She had black tired bags under her eyes as she cried at the death of her lifelong best friend the prior.

Katie sniffled sadly as hatred and anger for the Bass who had killed her best friend brewed in her mind.

Perhaps this was retribution for her framing Cody…

Physical tiredness was disregarded all by Katie's anger against the Bass until she finally fell asleep in her bed.

The camera turned to a view out of the window before a time-lapse showed the moon finally dipping into the lake's horizon and the sun rising up into the sky.

The ear-piercing loudspeaker screeched on as the four gophers woke up with a groan. The three fatigued gophers exited their beds, with the most tired out of all of them refusing to budge out of hers.

Heather combed her raven hair back with her fingers before looking straight at the moping girl.

"Ugh, Katie, wake up. You kept us up all night with you bawling your eyes out." Heather spat with an air of arrogance around her. She rubbed her eyes again before continuing. "You know what happens if you don't get to the mess hall in time."

The black girl saw Heather berating the skinny girl and decided to step in. "Cool it, Queen B, girl's upset over her bestie getting burned yesterday."

Before Heather could respond to the ghetto girl, Katie said her first words of the day:
"Shut the fuck up. Both of you sluts."

Heather, flabbergasted, humphed before storming off to the communal bathrooms.

(Confessional: Heather)

The Queen Bee, now out of her pajamas, rubbed her eyes once more, finally adjusting to being awake.

"I'm annoyed that Katie's now a flailing wailing sandbag. I'm not stupid, I know that the other team specifically targeted her chubby buddy to give Katie some emotional damage."

Heather flicked her hair to the side before crossing her arms with a frown on her face.
"I just need to make sure that I can keep control over Katie and my alliance. Especially with Justin of all people getting a bit too confident yesterday as the team leader…"

(End Confessional: Heather)

The camera flashed to LeShawna and Gwen brushing their teeth in the communal bathrooms. In the background, Heather was showering in cold water, humming loudly.

"Ugh, I just can't stand that girl." LeShawna spat as she brushed her teeth.

Gwen lazily nodded. "Look, LeShawna, I know that you have a dislike for Heather, I mean, I do too, but do you think you could at least, cool off a bit with it?"

LeShawna raised an eyebrow at the loner in response.

"I've said this so many times yesterday, but if you keep arguing with Heather over the most minute details, you're more likely to end up dead in a pit." After giving advice to her ally, Gwen spat out her toothpaste into the sink.

LeShawna gurgled some water before spitting it out. "Girl, I try too, but with Heather's bitchery, it's almost unavoidable to try to put her in her place."
The goth crossed her arms in response. "I know, but please, do not persist with arguing with Heather, you're next on the chopping block, but if we make it to when the teams finally join together, we can take down Heather. It'll be all more satisfying when we outlive her."
LeShawna put down her toothbrush. "Damn, girl, that's a dark way of putting it. And it's even darker that I agree with you. Fine, I'll try to stop putting her majesty in her place."
"Even if she keeps trying to provoke you?" Gwen asked.

The loud girl nodded silently in response.

Outside, Geoff and Duncan were throwing a football on the main camp. Perhaps they did it just to feel normal for a bit, but all they could discuss is their distaste for their fellow teammates.

"Nice catch, bro." Geoff complimented.

"Yeah, anyways, what were you saying?" Duncan asked before throwing the football back at Geoff.

"Man, it's about Bridge, I just can't stand how she's fine with Tyler burning her hand yesterday! It almost got her killed because of the tiebreaker! I can't believe she just doesn't see it! I don't trust the guy!" Geoff ranted, being distracted as the football flew far over his head.

"Yeah, I tell you, the other guys in our team are complete dorks. Especially Harold, that guy always looks like he's plotting something. Or judging our every move. I don't like his arrogant attitude." Duncan caught the football as it flew right into his hands.

"Word, dude. I mean, at least Zeke is pretty cool."

Duncan shrugged. "I could care less about the guy though. He's ready to jump into the death and 'rise up to Heaven' or whatever religious bullcrap he thinks."

"You're not religious, bro?" Geoff asked.

Duncan nodded no in response. "All that matters is living and getting out of this hellhole, doing what you can while you can." His last mantra was directly inspired by the words of his deceased brother.

"Word, man! I gotta party even harder when I get back with Bridge! I'll be sure to invite you too if you get out of here." Geoff caught the football before throwing it back at the delinquent.

Duncan rolled his eyes at the party blonde's blind optimism. He caught the ball without even looking at it as the loudspeakers screeched.

"Campers! It's time for breaky! If you aren't there Chef is going to breaky your spine! Especially after you all trashed up his kitchen! Did I mention summer ants were crawling all over his kitchen after yesterday? He. Is. Furious!"

The loudspeakers turned off as Geoff threw the football onto the ground beside him and the two Bass friends wandered over to the mess hall.

The camera flashed to inside the mess hall, as Chris fumbled with the remote to turn on the poster with Sadie's charred poster.

On the far end of the room, Harold was given a tray with familiar food by the coarse cook.

"Today's breakfast is a mix of Hawaiian and Italian cuisine." He announced while shoveling slop onto the dweeb's plate.

Harold raised an eyebrow at the cook. "So leftovers from yesterday? GOSH! Didn't Chris throw this stuff on the floor?"

Chef snarled from across the countertop. "YEAH! THAT'S RIGHT! YOU GOTTA PROBLEM WITH THAT?"

Harold whimpered pathetically before giving a salute. "Sir! Yes sir!"

Chef grinned as the dweeb walked to the Bass table before sitting next to Ezekiel and Tyler.

Nobody gave much acknowledgment to the deceased girl's poster, which surprised Chris as he looked around the room.

"Hey! Where's Katie?" He asked. "Did she hang herself? Because if so, you are supposed to report it to me immediately."

Gwen frowned at Chris's quip and looked up from his breakfast, leftovers from yesterday, which had been scraped off the floor.

"Katie's probably still bawling in her bed from yesterday. We couldn't get any sleep at all because of her."

"Well- never mind, I don't care. If she starves, she starves. It would be nice for drama though if she was actually here to see Sadie's poster, which none of you seem to give a shit about anymore." Chris moaned annoyingly as he stuffed the shiny remote in his pocket, right beside where his shiny white pistol was holstered.

"But if any of you are so kind enough to guide her here for when the challenge begins, it would be much appreciated."

The host then proceeded to walk out of the mess hall.

Gwen gave in to the host's words and left the mess hall behind the psychotic man to fetch the grieving girl.

Across the room, Courtney frowned at her leftovers as she stirred them around in her bowl.

(Confessional: Courtney)

Courtney sat up straight, formally in the confessional.

"I'm not going to hide the fact that I feel pretty bad about executing Sadie yesterday, I mean, it's only human to feel remorseful… But nevertheless, it was a strategic move, and it had to be done, this is what Duncan was warning me about with toughening up…"

(End Confessional: Courtney)

The bass table was notably divided in two, with Geoff, Bridgette, Duncan, and Courtney on one end and Ezekiel, Tyler, and Harold on the other end.

Next to the overachiever, surfer girl Bridgette had an icepack over her burnt hand while Geoff chowed down on leftovers from the day prior.

"Man, am I a good head chef or what?" Geoff complimented himself as he swallowed down his team's meatballs from the day before. His cheery mood conflicted with the somber appearance of Bridgette next to him.

Duncan, who was across the table from Geoff, simply nodded in agreement.

"How's your paw, babe?" Geoff asked as he put his arm around the surfer.

"It still stings a bit, but it should be better soon… I just hope that it won't become too much of a problem…" Bridgette grazed her right hand softly with her left hand. The nerves on her hand were still stressed from the sauce fiasco from the day prior.

"It better not become a big problem, we already lost a team member yesterday," Courtney responded chillingly while jabbing at the antipasto on her plate. The surfer frowned across the table at the perfectionist.

"Don't worry babe, I'm sure your hand will be alright by tomorrow."

The surfer chick gave a small smile to Geoff before taking a bite out of yesterday's dinner.

"You know, that tiebreaker yesterday scared me, I was so close to dying..."

"Well, you didn't, Malibu," Duncan responded nonchalantly, "So kudos to you. Living is pretty much the only thing that matters after this."

"But still, it felt so tedious, like I was inches away from it."

Courtney sighed. "All that matters now is that we are safe and we are in the majority. We have at least three more chances after losing until we'd eventually have to vote off one of us…"

Bridgette frowned at Courtney's interpretation of their fellow teammates. 'Chances'

"I guess I'm still not used to seeing people get killed either. I've already seen four people die with my own eyes."

"I'd like to keep that as a record for our team, no more deaths on our side from here." Courtney intervened.

"Still, it always hurts seeing Sadie burn up like that…" Bridgette shivered at the memory. "And her friend mustn't be feeling that well either…"

Courtney frowned at the reminder while Duncan shrugged next to the CIT.

"I don't like any of it either, but living is a strong motivator to keep me going."

Courtney gave a soft smile to the surfer and spoke softly in response.

"You're here now, Bridgette, and you survived. You were incredible there, especially with your burnt hand."

"Especially with your burnt hand," Geoff emphasized before shooting a dirty look at Tyler, who was talking with Ezekiel and Harold across the table.

Duncan threw a balled-up napkin in the trash bin like a basketball before leaning back onto the table.

"It doesn't matter whether someone you like or dislike gets the axe as long as you stay alive at the end of the day."

(Confessional: Bridgette)

The surfer girl took in a deep breath before exhaling out.

"Ever since yesterday's… execution… I've been really on edge. If I had failed my throws, I wouldn't be here right now."

Bridgette shivered again before breathing out.

"I'm almost as scared as I was when I first got here, even when I'm around Geoff. Perhaps we've been distracting ourselves for too long…"

(End Confessional: Bridgette)

(Confessional: Geoff)

Geoff scratched the back of his neck as flies buzzed around him in the confessional.

"I hope Bridge feels better. She's been acting all nervous again, dude. Especially with her hurt hand that Tyler gave to her."

He sighed again in the confessional.

"And I don't know what's up with Courtney, but she's been really on edge lately. Ever since that cooking challenge yesterday, she's been giving me the stink eye. I don't know if it's something I said, but its kinda scary."

(End Confessional: Geoff)

(Confessional: Courtney)

The CIT leaned against the wall with a sense of superiority around her.

"As much as I shouldn't be, I'm still salty about Geoff being the head chef yesterday. I am supposed to be the leader! If I was the leader, maybe we wouldn't have lost yesterday!"

The CIT tugged on her hair in annoyance.

"Ah, forget it. Even though Bridgette is likely to perform worse in challenges than she already does, we have the upper hand and three extra people."

(End Confessional: Courtney)

The camera flashed back to the four bass players in the mess hall as a certain thought crossed Duncan's mind.

"Do you think that anybody's out there looking for us?"

Bridgette raised an eyebrow at the delinquent's question.

"I mean, I hope so. Obviously, all of our family and friends must be wondering where we are…"

The perfectionist groaned at this thought. "Even if they're looking out for us, how the hell do we expect them to find us in Little Saint James, Virgin Islands, or wherever we are."

Geoff shrugged in response. "I dunno, dudette, I haven't thought much about it."

You don't think much at all. Duncan thought to himself.

"Well, my parents are cops, and as you can guess from that, I don't exactly have the best relationship with them, but I sure hope that they can somehow find us…"

The four Bass continued to sit among each other in silence, hoping in synchronization that somewhere, somehow, help would come to them.

"I mean, this is somehow airing on international TV." Courtney mumbled. "So if millions of people are seeing this, then they can all see how we're in 'desperate need of saving'…"

Suddenly, Geoff turned to directly face one of the cameras recording inside the mess hall.

"Help us, dude and dudettes!" Geoff hollered, earning a weird look from the rest of the campers as they chowed down on their meals.

Chris chuckled as he walked back into the mess hall.

"That's not going to work, Geoff. Believe me, the audience is more interested in seeing you guys becoming compost rather than spending time trying to get you out of there."

"Nice metacommentary, Tarantino, but you're still the one killing us all." Noah quipped as he played around with his leftover poke bowl.

Chris shrugged. "Hey, it gets me some serious ratings when you continue to insult me in funny ways, so go ahead! I'm not the one likely to die within the next three weeks!"

The bookworm grumbled and went back to eat his food.

"That's what I thought!" Chris smiled arrogantly. "Anyways, where did Gwen go? Did the loner goth girl hang herself with Katie?"

"I wish." Heather coughed quietly, earning a silent glare from LeShawna.

The camera switched to the interior of the girl's gopher cabin, where Katie was still deep asleep, snuggling in the only comfort of her bedbug-ridden blanket.

Through the doors, barged in Gwen, who alerted the grieving bestie awake.

The goth girl walked slowly through the room and beside Katie's bed. She sighed, feeling pity for the girl before speaking quietly.

"Get up, Katie, we have to be at the mess hall."

Katie lay down still in her bed, only responding with a weak groan.

At least I know she's still alive. Gwen sarcastically thought before repeating,

"Come on, Katie, let's go. I know that you're upset, but we all know how asshole McLean is going to be if you don't show up."

Katie turned around in the bed and looked straight at Gwen with tired, agonized, and frustrated eyes.

"Shut the hell up and leave me alone."

The Malaysian-Candian then turned around back to face her pillow as Gwen sighed again.

"Katie, you have every right to be upset. Just, please, let's go, okay? Chris is really mad, and Sadie wouldn't want you to-"

The grieving girl quickly sat around and pointed angrily at Gwen's chest.

"DON'T YOU TALK ABOUT SADIE!"

Her cheeks were stained with tears and her face screamed fatigue.

"Y- you don't deserve to t- talk about her! I- it's not fair!"

Gwen sighed and stepped back away from the lamenting girl, uncomfortable with her newfound situation.

The loner cleared her voice and spoke firmly.

"Katie, frankly, I care most about myself here, and getting myself out alive. I understand the fact that Sadie is gone, but if you want to stay here and mope about it instead of working to get yourself out of here, be my guest."

Katie continued to lie in her bed, facing towards the cabin wall in silence before muttering three bitter words.

"Screw off, Gwen."

And with a sigh, Gwen thudded the door closed.

(Confessional: Gwen)

Gwen swatted flies around her head as they buzzed around her blue hair.

"Perhaps I could've handled that a bit better... after all, her friend did just die… but if there is one thing I am not, it's a liar. This is life or death, hate me all you want, but I could give less of a crap about the other people here. The only reason I'm encouraging LeShawna to stop bickering with Heather 24/7 is because after she's gone, I'll be gone."

(End Confessional: Gwen)

The loner exited the creaky wooden doors of the confessional before heading to the mess hall in a cranky mood.

"Where did Gwen go?" Asked Chris, surveying the rest of the campers, not realizing Gwen was merely meters behind him.

If I had a knife I could stab him… or I could try to strangle him by the neck… or I could take the gun out of his holster and shoot him…

No… I'm still not insane enough to kill anybody, but Chris doesn't count as anybody, that implies that he's human. And still, he has a bunch of interns and cameramen armed to the teeth if I even charge at him…

"Did the loner goth girl hang herself with Katie?" Chris quipped, upsetting Gwen.

As Heather whispered something unintelligible to Gwen, earning a glare from LeShawna, Gwen coughed loudly from behind the host.

"I'm right here, Chris McLean. And Katie's still alive too, she's just tired and upset that her friend died."

Gwen pointed out the mess hall doors toward the girl's gopher cabin, which Chris peered towards through the door. He looked back at the goth girl before giving him his picture-perfect smirk.

"Oh well, that's too bad for Katie, we have a poster of her friend set up in the mess hall for her!"

Chris gestured his hands to the red-tinted image of Sadie, now only a charred black melted skeleton, captured in the realms of burning agony.

Gwen shuddered at the photo before sitting back down in her seat by LeShawna.

Chris let out a small snicker before taking out his notebook to review his notes.

But before the host could even read the first sentence, the mess hall doors burst open loudly behind him, startling him greatly to the point of him instinctively gripping on his silvery gun.

In, entered Katie, with her hair disheveled and tired eyes. The pink lip gloss that usually danced on her lips was absent, along with the pigtails she shared with Sadie being let absent as well.

She stormed her way to sit between Heather and Noah, she looked as if steam could vaporize out of her.

The four bass members who had voted out Sadie barely shivered, with the exception of Bridgette, as they felt rather unthreatened by the skinny girl.

Courtney could be seen frowning at Katie as she sat down between her allies.

Chris, on the other hand, pathetically stepped away from the bestie, only giving back an amused smirk to the girl.

The host cleared his voice before looking at his notecards.

"Today's challenge is all about trust! We've noticed that there has been a lot of tension lately! So we've decided to break this tension with some trust-building exercises! Two players from each team will perform these trust-building exercises! The first team to win three rounds wins!"

"Great," Gwen mumbled sarcastically.

"And for our first trust exercise, we will have the enthusiastic Gwen and Heather from the Gophers"

The goth girl sighed, regretting speaking up, while the mean girl across the table frowned.

Chris then turned to face the Killer Bass.

"For the Killer Bass, we will have… Ezekiel and Bridgette!"

The two perked up at the mention of their names and looked from the far ends of the table at each other.

Chris flashed a grin to the camera before announcing:

"Come follow me to go on our first climbing adventure!"

(Confessional: Heather)

The mean girl frowned as she sat against the toilet.

"I trust any of these dorks about as far as I can throw them."

(End Confessional: Heather)

(Confessional: Ezekiel)

The prairie boy smiled as a fly buzzed around him and landed on his finger.

"A trusting challenge, eh? My family trusted my Great Uncle Johessenburginson once. Now we're banned from Indiana."

(End Confessional: Ezekiel)

The camera flashed to the campers and the host at the bottom of a large cliff before the camera panned up to the top of the drop.

Chris gestured his dazzling hands to the top of the cliff.

"Two of you'll be participating in a fun rock climbing adventure! Like I said, Ezekiel and Bridgette will go for the Bass while Gwen and Heather go for the Gophers."

The prairie boy smiled at the surfer while Heather glared at the goth.

"One of you will be holding up the other with a belay, while the other climbs."

Chef came on screen and handed the belays and harnesses to the four participants.

Heather quickly snatched the belay while Gwen raised an eyebrow at her.

"If you think I'm letting you hold me up, we're gonna have a serious problem."

"It's fine by me." The goth responded.

Ezekiel observed the mean girl's aggression before turning to his climbing partner.

"They got some serious tension, eh? So do you want to climb or should I?"

Bridgette looked down her hand before looking back up at the cliff.

"With my hand, I think it's better if I hold the rope."

The homeschooler nodded before putting on his harness.

"Oh, I forgot to mention!" Chris iconically added. "We added a few surprises to make this challenge extra entertaining! Like rusty nails, slippery oil slicks, and a couple of mild explosives here and there! Trust me! You do not want to let go of that rope!"

Katie glared at the seven Bass members before taunting at them. "You're going down! You- You're gonna regret coming here in the first place!"

Duncan and Geoff looked at each other before back at the lonesome bestie.

"Calm it, Wonder Twin, you're not a threat here. And your friend definitely isn't a threat anymore."

As Duncan cockily added the latter, Katie snarled and walked as menacing as she could, not that much.

"Screw you, you asshair!" She spat while raising a fist at the juvie.

Justin noticed this and immediately held the girl back from getting into a fistfight with Duncan.

Justin gave a fake chuckle as he dragged the snarling girl back to the Gophers.

"Okay, Katie, let's not get ourselves beaten up by some Charles Manson-looking ass, we all know you can't pack a punch after all."
The model dragged Katie back until she fell back with a humph. He leaned to whisper into Noah's ear, who had remained silent through the whole ordeal.

"Noah, keep an eye on Katie so she doesn't do anything stupid."

The bookworm raised an eyebrow at the model.

"What? Why me?"

The eye candy rolled his candy eyes at Noah. "Do you have something better to do? You're on Katie Duty now, keep an eye on her."

Noah sighed tiredly as he sat down on the grass next to Katie who simply lied back on the grass in despair-filled thought.

Off to the side, Chris sounded an air horn and Gwen and Ezekiel immediately started up the cliff.

While Gwen navigated slowly through the rocks while Ezekiel darted through, keeping a keen eye out for any nails or jagged rocks.

(Confessional: Ezekiel)

The prairie boy picked his nose as he sat in the confessional.

"My Great Uncle Johessenburginson loved to go rock climbing, eh. He even taught me how to do it when I was eight. All though, he probably should've known better than to go rock climbing over a wall into a government facility…"

(End Confessional: Ezekiel)

The prairie boy huffed and puffed while Bridgette held on to the rope holding him up.

"Keep it up, Gwen! He's faster than you!" Heather spat from below while keeping a firm hand on the rope.

"I'm trying!" Gwen grunted as she grabbed onto a rock and pulled herself up.

"Beat his ass, Gwen! Destroy him!" Katie aggressively called from the ground.

On the Bass side, Courtney instructed the homeschooler as he quickly climbed around the oil slicks.

"Don't look down, Zeke!" Courtney called. The CIT looked to her left and saw Bridgette struggling with the rope.

"Are you okay?" She asked, while Bridgette nodded no.

"I can't pull that hard… My hand hurts…"

Contrary to Courtney's advice, Ezekiel looked down just for a glance to see how far ahead he was in front of Gwen. In this split second, he made one grip on a rock which suddenly exploded, causing the homeschooler to lose control and free fall down the cliff.

The Killer Bass all sequentially gasped as Ezekiel screamed, Bridgette tightened her grip on the rope to keep Ezekiel from falling further, biting through the pain as the rope's friction pained her hand.

At this point, the Gophers cheered as Gwen surpassed Ezekiel, going pass where the wall had blown up a little.

The homeschooler took a second to clear his mind before realizing that he was thankfully unharmed, simply hanging from the rope that Bridgette was holding as hard as she could.

"Zeke! Grab the wall! My hand hurts!"

The homeschooler nodded before gripping tight onto the rocks, preparing to climb the wall.

"Keep moving, Gothy!" Heather encouraged aggressively.

"You got this, home girl!" LeShawna encouraged kindly.

Chris came onto the scene with a loaded water gun and a smile before asking playfully: "Did anybody order some Jalapeño Sauce?"

He then squeezed the trigger, spraying the hot sauce all over Heather and Bridgette.

"Argh! Are you kidding me?" Heather squealed before letting go of the rope, giving Gwen no safety as she tried to climb up the cliff.

Bridgette similarly complained and let go. "Ouch! Not again!" The prairie boy's eyes widened as he realized that nobody was holding him up.

He looked down for another glance only to slip again. His screams instantly alerted the surfer to reluctantly grab the rope again, causing rope burns to damage her hand further.

She whined in pain as Ezekiel dangled meer meters from the ground, traumatized after almost hitting the rock-hard ground.

While upside down, he looked at the rest of his teammates before hearing a bell ring at the top of the cliff.

"And Gwen wins round one for the Screaming Gophers!" Chris announced. "And without anybody holding her up for the final ten meters!"

As the Screaming Gophers cheered, Gwen gave an upset glare to the mean girl, one that was unnoticed as Heather still rubbed the jalapeño sauce off of her.

"1-0, Gophers!"

(Confessional: Ezekiel)

Ezekiel yawned and stretched as he sat on the toilet.

"I feel bad about Katie, eh? She's lost her friend and now it seems like she's going through the stages of grief. I think I should give her some of that there-a-pee thing Bridgette told me about."

(End Confessional: Ezekiel)

The camera turned to static before flashing to a scene of the mess hall.

A light flashed on a central lectern while the campers entered through the main doors.

Chris walked into the light with a big smile on his face.

"And round two! The Extreme! Cooking! Challenge!"

The campers gave blank stares in response.

"Duncan! Harold!" Chris blurted, immediately breaking the silence and capturing the attention of the two Killer Bass.

"You two will be participating for your team while Noah and Katie cook for their team!"

Noah looked right at Katie, who was giving an angry face to the two Bass members.

"We're going to destroy you!" She yelled.

Duncan raised his unibrow and scoffed. "Yeah, last time I checked, someone in the same clothes as you got cooked into a four-course meal, so back off."

This rude taunt was interrupted by Courtney, who elbowed the delinquent in the chest.

The lonesome bestie snarled at Duncan, only to be interrupted by Noah.

"Uh, let's cool it a bit, Katie, what are we cooking anyways?"

Chris smiled at the bookworm enthusiastically.

"I'm glad you asked, Noah! One person will have to prepare Fugu Sashimi, the traditional Japanese blowfish, which, may I add, has enough lethal toxin to kill 30 people!"

Noah gulped as Chef rolled a cart with an aquarium of two Fugu fish onto the scene.

"Sushi! Wicked!" Harold smiled in awe.

"I was going to let you choose who cuts the fish and who eats it, but since it's my show, Harold and Katie will be cooking for Duncan and Noah respectively."
Duncan gripped Harold's shirt and pulled him close.

"You better not mess this up, dweeb, or you won't be able to live to regret it."

Harold backed off before whining "GOSH!"

(Confessional: Harold)

Harold scratched the back of his neck as he sat in the confessional.
"As cool as it is to eat a rare Japanese sushi, especially since that might have been the only chance I'd get, it'd be a painful death. If I'm being honest, it did cross my mind that I could've messed up the sushi just a bit so Duncan would… I mean uh… we can even the balance in the Killer Bass. But I don't think I'd go that far, it's completely dishonorable."

(End Confessional: Harold)

Katie said nothing as she gripped the knife she would use to cut the Fugu fish.

Noah worryingly eyed the knife before looking straight at the girl.

"Uhh, I'm not gonna have to worry about you cutting up this poisonous fish, right? Or that knife you have right now?"

Katie nodded. "O- of course! I mean, I passed Biology using… Sadie's notes… but I'm not going to do poorly, not when I want the Bass to lose this much."

The girl looked down at the knife before gripping its handle hard, causing Chris to notice.

"And as usual when knives are used in these challenges, armed interns will not hesitate to shoot you if you try to stab them or something."

An intern with an orange cap and shirt with a green and white shirt showed up on the screen next to Chris, holding an assault rifle.

Chef pulled the two blowfish out of the water and threw them onto the cutting boards.

"Fishies! Prepare to meet your makers! Same to you maggots too."

Chris smiled as the blowfishes landed on the cutting boards. "You will have to slice up the fish very precisely as to not get your partner K/O'd."

Duncan and Noah watched carefully as Harold and Katie prepared the Fugu blowfish.

"Don't worry, Duncan, I basically have a black belt in chopping Japanese fish. I'd just imagine if this fish's organs were ninjas. Hwatchya!" Harold exclaimed while carefully cutting the blowfish.

"Whatever, man, just don't kill me with a fish." Duncan commented.

Across the room, Noah watched Katie as she hastily cut up the Fugu blowfish, exaggerating her stabs as they penetrated the fish.

"Dammit, Katie, be more careful, you're no Stephen Hawking, but you should at least know how to properly slice this guy up."

"I got it under control…" Katie whined.

Moments later, Katie and Harold exclaimed at the same time: "Finished!" and "Gosh! Finished!"

The camera flashed to an image of Harold's sushi before switching to Katie's sushi. They both looked identical with the extracted piece of fish laying in the center of the plate alone.

Duncan and Noah both took in a deep breath as they lay their eyes on their potentially final meal.

"You better not have messed this up, Harold." Duncan reached for a piece of sushi before slowly popping it into his mouth.

"Please don't kill me…" Duncan whispered as he closed his eyes, crossing his fingers hopefully.

The camera watched as Duncan slowly chewed and swallowed the sashimi, waiting a couple of seconds to see if any poison would kick in.

After ten seconds, Duncan felt a small gurgle in his stomach…

…before turning around and burping in Chris's face.

"Ugh! Gross dude! You're alive, so you get a point, gross!" Chris pinched his nose and fanned the air around him as Duncan smirked.

"Not bad, Harold, I'm impressed." The delinquent gave a genuine positive comment to the dweeb for the first time.

"Thanks, Duncan, it was obvious that I would cut that Blowfish in the same way the Samurai slice up their foes!" Harold gave a determined grin that immediately reminded Duncan why he disliked the nerd.

"Aaaand I'm no longer impressed."

While Harold frowned, Tyler and Ezekiel gave a thumbs-up to the nerd, causing him to smile again.

Across the room, Noah was still jabbing at the sushi with skepticism.

"Are- are you sure this is safe?" He asked cautiously.

Katie nodded and rolled her eyes. "Yeah, it is, just eat the damn sushi already!"

Noah looked back at the sushi longer while Heather called at him.

"Eat it up, Slow-ah!" Heather yelled while Noah bit the sushi.

The team watched with anticipation as Noah chewed the sushi.

However, it didn't take even a second before Noah felt a distinct tingle on his tongue and spat out the sushi on the floor.

"Oh, God dammit." He muttered before bending down to throw up on the ground.

The entire cast recoiled in disgust, especially Katie, who was feet away from the spewing barf.

"DAMMIT!" She whined before slamming the knife suddenly into the cutting board, alerting the interns to put their full attention at the unstable girl.

"Stupid shitty challenge!" She whined again as she facepalmed herself hard.

The Indian threw up once more and looked up at Chris.

"Mother of… How long is this going to last?"

Chris shrugged and looked at Chef.

"Considerin' you spat it out immediately, you're just going to be mildly throwing up for about five to ten hours or so." He barked as Noah groaned.

"Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!" Katie complained as she banged the table with her fist synchronized with each 'Dammit'.

"Katie, calm down, it's all right," Ezekiel said with his calming prairie voice. "Don't be so angry, eh!"

Before Ezekiel could talk more, Harold looked straight at Ezekiel and shook his head no.

Courtney felt a slight guilt in her stomach as Katie banged her fist against the table until she stopped.

"She really needs to take a chill pill, huh?" Geoff whispered to Courtney before Courtney gave him a dismissive look.

"What?" Geoff asked innocently.

Noah groaned as he walked back to the Gophers, Chef handed him a bucket to throw up into as he walked along.

"Well, as long as you're still standing, I don't see a reason to bring you to the infirmary." Chris said. "Moving along to the next challenge!"

(Confessional: Courtney)

Courtney tugged on her hair lightly as she sat in the wooden shack.

"Okay… I mean, that's what I expected to happen, Katie performed bad because I orchestrated Sadie's death… it feels wrong, but I just need to remember that I must keep following the plan if I want my team to keep winning…"
(End Confessional: Courtney)

The camera flashed to the campers following Chris through the woods, Harold and Zeke had lagged behind the group as the prairie boy kept her eye on Katie.

The homeschooler leaned into his left to whisper into Harold's ear. "I feel bad about Katie, eh? She's been grieving her friend's death."

The dweeb gave a blank frown back at Zeke. "Yeah, I guess."

"So why did you shake your head no when I was about to talk with her, eh?"

Harold sighed out a nasally breath. "Katie's on the other team, Ezekiel. And since we have the disadvantage of numbers on our team, we need every advantage that we can get."

"But Katie's upset, eh. That's not morally right to ignore someone like that."

Harold have a mixed look at his friend. "I want to keep our alliance alive while I still can. As much as it sucks losing Sadie, we can use that to our advantage."

"That sounds messed up, eh? Using someone's grievances for your own gain."

"I'm not a fan of it either, Zeke, but I'm not the one who initiated it, I just see the benefits in choosing not to act your way."

Zeke silently frowned until the group got to their destination not more than 5 seconds later.

Chris turned around and the group all saw the area.

It was like an orchard, with many crabapples littered around the ground, Chris was standing next to a particular barrel filled with crabapples.

The host took out a pair of goggles similar to the ones seen in the paintball challenge and an arrow.

"Good news! Your last three challenges are all blind challenges!" He announced in his show biz voice. "Your first one is the William Tell challenge, you know, the guy with the arrow shooting the apple on his son's head."

Ezekiel smiled and raised his hand. "Ooh! Ooh! I love me some archery, eh?"

Chris smiled and gestured his hands to the boy to steady his excitement.

"Steady there, horse breath! You already went for the first challenge, so wait for everybody else to go first. Anyways, one person will be standing with an arrow resting atop their head."

Chris walked over to Zeke, taking off his toque and gently placing the arrow atop of Ezekiel's scruffy hair.

"Uh, this doesn't seem right, eh?"
Chris picked up a crabapple out of the barrel and held it in his hands, similar to a baseball position, the other campers took one large step away from the prairie boy who had his eyes up to the top of his head where the arrow lay.

"The partner will throw the crabapples at the other person, until they knock off the arrow with the crabapple!"

The psychotic host pitched the crabapple hard at Ezekiel, until it hit him directly in the crotch.

The campers around him flinched in pain as he grabbed his crotch with wide eyes and a small tear leaking out of his eye, meeping 'Mommy' as he fell to the ground.

"Of course, the team who comes out with the least amount of bruises wins!"

"The horror!" Justin exclaimed dramatically.

"Yes, Justin, it is balls to the walls horrifying. Which is why you're going for the Gophers along with LeShawna."

The eye candy bawled in fear of his glorious beauty while Courtney raised a curious hand.

"Um, wasn't it the other way around? I thought William Tell shot a crossbow at an apple atop his son's head."

Chris leaned in towards the CIT and gave a smug smile. "Unless you want to be shot at by arrows, we're going to stick with the crabapples. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see you covered in arrows like a porcupine, but I still want to have an execution after today's challenge."
The host handed a pair of goggles and an arrow to the CIT who reluctantly grabbed them.

"Oh, and you're standing, with Spiller McSauce throwing crabapples at you! Have fun!"

Courtney gave an uncomfortable frown as she looked to the left where Tyler was nervously smiling.

"Uh, hey Courtney." Was all the jock could muster in response. "I have a strong throwing arm!"

The CIT sighed as she walked over to a red 'x' which she presumed represented where she was to stand, equipping her goggles at the same time.

"Just don't throw too hard, okay? I'm not looking forward to you injuring another teammate today…"

(Confessional: Tyler)

The jock scratched the back of his neck as he sat forward.

"You know, I've been a bit on edge ever since Sadie's execution. I know that I'm probably next if we lose and that my buddies will be gone right after me."

Tyler sighed again.

"Dammit, this is probably what Harold meant by having a numbers advantage… I shouldn't have voted for Eva last Thursday…"

(End Confessional: Tyler)

On the other side, the four non-competing Gophers stepped back while LeShawna grabbed goggles and an arrow from Chris's hands before turning to Justin.

"Come on, eye candy, let's do this!" She confidently stated while Justin shivered in fetal position.

"I- I- I can't! The bruises! The ugliness! The horror!" He was shivering almost as if it was negative degrees Celsius, ironic considering that his pure hotness brought up the temperature of the area around him.

"Boy, you gotta toughen up if your vanity-filled ass is worried about God damn looks. And I know looks with an ass as luscious as mine! Just put the damn goggles on!"

LeShawna dangled the orange goggles in front of the traumatized Justin as he whimpered.

"But they're so tackyyyyyy!" He whined.

The black loud-mouthed girl rolled her eyes before glaring daggers at the sexy man.

"I'll pour the entire bin of apples over you if you don't get these damn goggles on and stand there in five seconds!"
Justin immediately perked up and ran to the designated green 'x' whilst putting goggles around his heavenly head.

"Nice motivation, LeShawna!" Heather teased much to the embarrassment of Justin.

Chris, along with some of the other campers, chuckled at Justin's misfortune, while Chef placed bandanas around Tyler and LeShawna's eyes to hinder their vision.

"You got this Courtney and Tyler!" Bridgette cheered out to her friends, nudging Geoff to do the same.

"You got this Courtney dudette! Don't mess it up Tyler!" Geoff restated.

"Come on LeShawna! Don't let yourself down, or more importantly us down!" Noah called from the audience.

"You can do this, LeShawna!" Gwen encouraged her ally.

"CRUSH THEM GOPHERS!" Katie loudly cheered from next to Gwen and Noah, causing the two of them to cover their ears.

Chris unholstered his silvery weapon and aimed straight up into the air, ready to count down.

"Campers! Get ready to throw in 3… 2… 1… and GO!"

Chris shot his gun into the air as Tyler and LeShawna both began throwing crabapples at Courtney and Justin respectively.

Courtney embraced herself for impact whilst trying to stand still, guiding Tyler's aim along the way.

"Argh! Aim just a bit- Ow! A bit to the left! Argh! No!"

Courtney instinctively raised her arms to protect her face from being pelted from crabapples while Chris pointed angrily at her.

"Hey! No raising arms for protection! We're making this an even fight!"

Courtney whined as another crabapple just brushed by her cheek.

"Aim higher Tyler!" She yelled.

"I'm trying, bro!" He replied before throwing the crabapple far past Courtney, thankfully not hitting her this time.
On the other side, Justin was frantically dodging the crabapples hurling towards him, more focused on any of them impairing his godly beauty than LeShawna hitting the arrow off of his head.

"Justin! Gimme directions!"
The model laughed nervously whilst wiggling and leaning away from the oncoming onslaught of apples.

"Yeowch! Uh! Right! Err, I mean right as in okay! Yeowch again!"

The eye candy thought with his peanut-sized brain for a second before comprehending what LeShawna needed to do.

"Aim a bit higher! Just please don't hit my face!" He pleaded.

"I'm trying, Justin! I'm not making any promises though!"

LeShawna continued to throw crabapples at Justin until one barely hit his face.

"Argh! You almost hit my face! Aim higher!" He frantically pleaded.

"Aim lower, Tyler!" Courtney cried from the Bass side of the area.

"I'm trying! I'm not the pitcher of my baseball team though!" He replied at the right moment, just as a crabapple went through the tip of the arrow, knocking it off.

However, it was not of Courtney's arrow as LeShawna had knocked the arrow off of Justin's beautiful hair.

"And LeShawna wins it for the Gophers! That went much quicker than expected!" Chris frowned as LeShawna took off her blindfold and cheered.

"Ah dammit!" Tyler exclaimed as he took of his blindfold and threw his last crabapple straight into the ground, reflecting into Justin's kiwis, which nobody but the model noticed.

The model whimpered as he lay on the ground in pain.

(Confessional: Justin)

The model was seen whimpering as he lay in the fetal position. Overcame with trauma and despair from the treacherous crabapples painting bruises all over his sexy tan skin.

"The horror!" He cried.

(End Confessional: Justin)

"Woohoo! Great job LeShawna!" Gwen cheered as she gave a fist bump to her ally.

"Yeah! You fishies are getting crushed!" Katie pointed confidently at Harold and Zeke who both gave each other a look of concern.

Heather and the still-sickened Noah gave an approving nod to LeShawna as Justin still lay on the ground in pain.

Katie continued to taunt the two nerdy Bass bros as Noah came to her side and told her to cool it.

"Nice going, Tyler," Courtney complained sarcastically. "I thought I told you to not throw so damn hard!"
"Sorry, Courtney! I was so close though!"

Duncan shrugged. "Ehh, not really, you threw too low and then too high. You didn't even hit near Courtney's face."

Tyler gave a sheepish smile and shrugged. "Well, at least I didn't hit your face, huh?"

The overachiever rolled her eyes in response.

"Is anybody gonna help me?" Justin weakly asked as he held his coconuts in smoothie form in pain.

"We just have to win the next two challenges, huh?" Bridgette asked blankly.

"Yeah, I guess, we have to or we're losing another player…" Courtney mumbled in disappointment.

"It's 2-1 for the Screaming Gophers! Will the Bass be able to catch up? I highly doubt so!" Chris narrated to nobody in particular but the camera.

(Confessional: LeShawna)

LeShawna gave a happy smirk as she lay heavily against the wooden wall.

"It feels damn good to help my team out! Especially with Heather finally giving me some of the approval she's been severely needing to make up on! But hey, maybe Gwen is right about ignoring her majesty, Heather. Beat her at her game by outliving her!"

(End Confessional: LeShawna)

The camera flashed to the rest of the campers walking to their next challenge, Heather and Noah particularly lagged in the back.

"At least I'm getting my cardio for once…" He quipped before puking into his bucket.

The Queen B, who was right behind the Indian bookworm, cleared her voice in order to get his attention.

"What is it now?" He asked in an irritated voice.

"I'm not going to beat around the bush. You need to keep tabs on Katie!" She instructed simply.

"Yeah, yeah, Justin already told me to do that." Noah replied tiredly.

"Justin…" Heather replied ominously. Who did that model think he was? Taking control of her alliance like that?

"Anyways, Katie's unstable and quite angry."

"Yup, I think I can see that for myself." Noah coughed into his bucket.

"Soooo, we need to make sure that we maintain control over her, capische?" Heather restated.

"Yeah, I got it, I'm on 'Katie Duty' like Justin said. I'm still not a fan of the fact that she friggin' poisoned me with her Julia Child-like culinary skills."

Heather rolled her small eyes and scoffed. "Well, suck it up! You want to stay alive, don't you? So this is the price you pay."

Noah grumbled in response.

"I know, I know, I'll let you know if Katie seems like she's going to do something stupid."

(Confessional: Noah)

The bookworm had his blue barf bucket next to him as he still had a green sick face.

"I'm not a fan of either Katie with her being infuriated at the other team or Heather with her… actually just her in general. And Justin is quite pathetic too.

But hey, it'll be all worth it when I get out of this hell hole alive. I mean, I particularly chose to ally myself with the people that seem the most unappealing so I care less about them. I swear though, sometimes the amount of times I go out of my way to save Heather's ass… Jesus Christ does she owe me a lot."

(End Confessional: Noah)

The scene flashed to the campers lined up right behind a wooden structure that looked like it had trapezes hanging from its top.

Beneath the wooden structure, a pool of water could be seen.

"For this challenge, we have two players from each team participate in the Blind Trapeze Challenge! One player will be swinging back and forth on their trapeze while the other blindfolded person jumps to get caught by the other person! The trapeze swinger tells the other person when they should jump!"

Chris looked at the gophers and sighed with some annoyance.

"I was going to have Justin and Noah go for the gophers, but since Noah is sick and Justin is… pathetically at the infirmary… Gwen and Katie will go instead!"

The loner looked to her left where the similarly determined girl looked right back at her.

"And on the Bass, the Beach Blonde couple will go!" Chris gestured his hands towards Geoff and Bridgette, who both looked at each other.

"Oh! One more thing! Since this is Total Drama Island, we put a pool of water to catch your fall! Of course, it's full of electric jellyfish, so it'll be a painful swim back out!"

The entirety of the cast flinched as a loud zap could be heard coming out of the pool.

"Good luck!" The host sarcastically complimented.

The screen flashed to Katie swinging across the trapeze and the jellyfish zapping the water down below..

To the left, Gwen stood blindfolded, grasping onto the wooden bars that held up the structure for dear life.

"Are you sure you got this, Katie?" Gwen worryingly asked.

"Yes, Gwen, let's just get this over with." She responded back. "Jump when I say 'go', okay?"

"It's just like all the freak circus she works at back home," Heather whispered snarkily to Noah, who simply nodded and rolled his eyes.

As Katie swang back and forth on the trapeze, she tried to take her mind of her quest to avenge Sadie, just for a moment, in order to let the challenge ahead of her completely consume her.

All she had to do to get her team a point was tell Gwen to jump at the right time.

Gwen put her arms out to balance herself, preparing for Katie to call out for when she should jump.

The loner took a deep breath, listening carefully.

"I'm ready!" She called out.

Katie bit her lip and began counting down.

"3…"

"2…"

"1…"

"Jump!" She said, extending her arms to the loner who took a leap of faith of the platform.

"Hey look it's Sadie!" Courtney blurted out from the audience.

This momentary distraction took Katie off guard, along with the entirety of the campers, causing her to lose focus as Gwen's fingers just barely slipped out of Katie's hands.

As soon as Gwen realized she was free-falling way past Katie, she screamed.

Katie blinked back to reality as she realized that the loner was far below her, hurling toward a wet pit of the electric jellyfish.

It did not take but four seconds later that Gwen was submerged underwater, her screams amplified by the painful stings surging through her body.

The cast of campers all flinched in sympathy for the poor loner, except for Chris who smiled in the pain of others.

"That's no points for the Gopherinos! Will the Bass make it?"

Off to the side, Bridgette gave a disappointed glance to Courtney, who gave a confident glare in response, all while Gwen swam in frantic pain.

"That was not nice of you, Courtney." Ezekiel straightforwardly dissaproved.

Courtney, caught off guard by the prairie boy suddenly confronting her, gave a sheepish look to her left.

"Well… it's helping us win, Zeke. And more importantly you and your friends, so shut."

Zeke frowned while Harold walked up to his side, who silently nodded in agreement to the CIT.

(Confessional: Gwen)

A much drier Gwen who still looked like she had small zaps of electricity flowing through her veins sat on the confessional uncomfortably.

"I swear if I don't get out of here after all of this… It's not going to be pretty… Damn Courtney for distracting Katie there, especially in that way… It's kinda scummy…"

(End Confessional: Gwen)

The camera flashed again to the opposite side of the trapeze structure.

Chef could be seen with a large fishing net at the bottom of the pool, fishing Gwen's unconscious body out of the water.

Bridgette stood blindfolded on the other platform, holding the poles that held up the structure more worryingly than Gwen, especially since she had seen what would happen if she weren't to be caught.

Geoff was swinging on the trapeze, he had taken off his hat and his golden blonde hair flew against the wind.

"Don't worry Bridge! You can trust me!" He said.

Bridgette shivered again and hugged the wooden pole next to her tightly.

"And nobody's going to distract you this time, just listen to my voice, alright!" Geoff reaffirmed, remembering the cause of Gwen falling into the electric pool.

Under their breaths, Noah and Heather silently cursed, having the same idea that Courtney had.

"O- Okay, Geoff! I'm… ready…" Bridgette stated with low confidence as she balanced on her platform.

"Alright, babe! I'll catch you! Just jump on go, chyeah?"

Bridgette nodded silently, preparing a jump pose.

"3…"

"2…"

"Jump!" Heather called out from the audience, only to receive a nudge in the side by Courtney.

Bridgette, after hearing someone from the audience call jump, froze up before hugging the wooden pole again.

"Hey! Bridge! Just don't listen to those dudes and dudettes down there! Listen to my voice!" Geoff had a particularly calming voice that Bridgette kept in her mind.

She took another deep breath and nodded.

She restated with more confidence than before but with hints of slight nervousness. "Okay, Geoff… I'm ready this time."

"Jump when I say jump, I'll promise I'll catch you, babe." Geoff reassured, gaining Bridgette's full trust as she lay her life in his hands.

"3…"

"2…"
Heather yelled 'jump' again from the audience, but this time she would only listen to Geoff's voice.

"1…"

"Jump!"

Bridgette dived off the platform, extending her arms as high as she could, hoping that the grip of Geoff's hand could catch her, despite her burnt hand.

She placed all of her trust in his hands, hoping that Geoff could catch her.

Geoff lunged out of his easygoing attitude for once, genuinely trying his utmost effort to catch his girlfriend, she already had her hand burnt, and the image of her being covered in painful electric jellyfish stings was simply incomprehensible to him.

And moments later, despite all distractions, Bridgette caught Geoff's hands and the two swung over the electric pool of water valiantly.

The Bass crowd cheered as they earned another point, tying up the score evenly among the two teams.

"And the Bass tie up the score! 2-2!" Chris announced excitedly through his megaphone. "That means it's all down to the final challenge!"

Bridgette smiled as she held Geoff's hands and the two swung on the trapeze through the air.

"I always got your back, Bridge! You can always trust me, babe!"

Geoff smiled back at his girlfriend proudly, as if he was beaming with sunrays of love as he gripped her hands as tight as he could, not letting her slip away to the waters below.

Back down below, while the Bass cheered from the Blonde couple, LeShawna sweated nervously.

She knew for a fact that if their team were to lose, she'd be the one to go next. She backed into the crowd of Gophers as Katie and Heather, who were in the front of the group, glared daggers at her cheering adversaries.

She backed away where a scrawny bookworm was, coughing up small green chunks into his wretched blue bucket.

"Psst, turkey legs!" She whispered, instantly catching the attention of the constantly pondering thinker.

"I have a name you know, it'd be nice if you'd try it out." He mumbled back tiredly.

"Fine." She groaned. "Noah, can I speak with you for a bit?"
"You already are speaking with me, and even though I'd be inclined to not care, I assume this is about your upcoming 'election' in the case that we lose."

LeShawna rolled her eyes, tired with the Indian's sarcastic bullcrap. She had miniscule respect for his sarcasm and lazy attitude.

"Look here, Noah, I know that Miss Queenie over there is aching to vote me off, am I right?"
Noah nodded silently.

"Well, even though we both hate each other's guts, she must know that I am a valuable asset to the team, no matter how much she despises me."

"You already made the fact that you hate each other clear twice." Noah corrected.

"Shut up. Anyways, she knows that y'all ought to lose more with this powerhouse dead and gone, so I suggest a proposal."

"You want us to vote for Gwen this time? Just like you told us to vote for Beth?" Noah asked. "I mean, I don't think I'll be able to convince Heather this time around."

The black girl shook her head 'no' in response.

"I have two ideas, one is just voting off Katie instead, plain and simple."

Noah raised an eyebrow at this agenda.

"Why would I do that? She's a critical ally in Heather's alliance." Noah put heavy emphasis on the fact that it was an alliance owned by Heather, already used to the instinct in order to stroke Heather's everlasting ego.

"Well, she's unstable, weak, and very aggressive as of now. Who knows what she'll do next? Say one wrong thing and she'll go berserk and… stab you with a knife or something…"

Noah shrugged in lack of relative care for the mourning girl.

"I mean, she annoys me, sure, especially since she friggin' poisoned me, but… it's something I would… consider…" Noah said, already having made up his mind that it was a terrible idea for him and would be completely disadvantageous, even with his annoyance with Katie.

"What's your other idea? Voting off the anti-me?" Noah quipped. "Or are you too distracted by his beauty?" Noah mocked.

LeShawna furrowed her brow. How in damned hell is this lazy, weak, scrawny piece of shit still alive? He doesn't look like he could even hold a dodgeball without falling over.

"Uh, no, Noah, I was going to suggest that you try to vote off Heather."

Noah gave a surprised look. Of course, LeShawna despised Heather, but would she really directly confront Noah about voting off one of his allies? Apparently so.

"Uh. Why? I mean, I know it's because you hate her, but why would I vote for her?" Noah asked, obviously confused by the sudden idea of voting for Heather.

"Like you said, I do dislike her, but she's not as invincible as she claims to be. Think about it, she's barely escaped elimination through close calls. And she's not as close as an ally as you think, she's definitely going to drop you as soon as the teams collapse."
Noah 'hmmed' in thought, it was a factor he did consider, that Heather could potentially turn against him in some shape or form, but the fact that he was a useful alliance member to her as well when many adversaries faced her proved to be a useful technique to keep her on his side.

But alas, how many times did he go out of his way to save her? If not for scheming up a plot to frame Cody, would Heather be dead?

Still, Heather was a critical ally, especially when it meant that she'd be first in the case that elimination was to come.

"She may seem a bit backstabby, like you were to your friend," Noah bitterly added, "but she still remains a close ally for now…"

Before LeShawna could speak more about either her matter of 'backstabbing' Beth, which she believed was totally Heather's fault, or reinforcing her proposition to vote off Heather, Noah interrupted her.

"I'll think about it…" He nodded, "All I'll say is that I'm not completely unconvinced…"

LeShawna gave a small smirk in relief as she backed away from the lazy bookworm.

(Confessional: LeShawna)

The loud-mouthed girl sat cross-legged on the confessional, not minding the flies as they buzzed around her head.

"I know that I'm next in the event of a loss. All I can do is pray that Noah can convince Katie to vote off Heather. I mean, he didn't seem too convinced with the first idea of voting off Katie. I don't share such sympathies, I still remember her little quarrel with Beth a few days ago, if anything, Katie is almost as responsible for Beth's death as Heather is!"

(End Confessional: LeShawna)

(Confessional: Noah)

Noah sat effortlessly on the toilet, blue bucket next to him.

"I'm definitely not voting off Katie, that's for sure. I don't know why, but I'm sure that there's a reason in my mind that I'm just forgetting right now…"

He felt a little sickness coming up through his throat, as he prepared to hurl, only for the luncheon cavalry to not arrive.

"And, that's one reason to vote her off… Stupid poisonous fish… Anyways, the idea of voting of Heather is intreguing, but she still remains a good potential ally for now, while LeShawna seems to appreciate neither by beauty or brawn." He added in the latter part with heavy sarcasm, coughing into the bucket afterwards.

"Well, we will wait an see, I guess… I mean, the challenge hasn't even ended, so who knows if we lose or not."

(End Confessional: Noah)

The camera flashed to the teens gazing up to the top of the thousand-foot cliff, where Chef could be seen painting a sappy substance to the bottom of two different sleds.

Chris, at the bottom, stood atop a crate to appear taller, instructing the cast of the final challenge ahead of them.

"Alrighty! The last challenge of today is…

…the Blindfolded Toboggan Challenge!" He pronounced with such enthusiasm that none of the cast members shared.

"Ugh," He said in annoyed disgust for the lack of his appreciation. "Anyways, 2 campers are going to slide down this hill, which Chef has jagged rocks, spiky trees, and a couple of critters running around!"

Bridgette frowned, upset at the risk for any animals getting hurt. Through all the despair and suffering of the island, she still was a pacifist at heart.

"Anyways, the first team to slide all the way down and reach the finish line first, wins! Now, since this is the final round, I want to have some hot tension! Obviously, for the Gophers, I want to have LeShawna and Heather, since they can't seem to get their hands off of each other!" Chris gave a sly smug smile as both LeShawna and Heather glared daggers at each other's eyes.

"Anywho… I'm sensing a bit of unexplored tension here in the Bass!" He stated, turning to face the Killer Bass, who were all still gazing up at the hill.

"Now, I already did what is probably the biggest rivalry between Harold and Duncan, so for this challenge, I'll choose Geoff and Tyler!"

The two relatively buff boys looked at each other. Geoff looked with more opprobrium than the jock.

Ironically, just a couple of days ago, the two barely minded each other, even choosing to row a kayak together, now it seemed as if a slight rift had begun to form.

Chris continued instructing the campers. "At the top, when I fire my gunshot, you two will begin to slide down the hill. The person steering will sit in the front with a blindfold, while the other person will sit behind them, giving them directions."

"I hope that you make a good GPS," LeShawna said whilst grabbing the white blindfold hastily from Chef's hands.

"I hope that you make a good wheel!" Heather quipped with a superior smirk, only to receive a shove from the loud-mouthed girl.

Damn. She seems more confident than usual… Heather thought. Does she forget who she's messing with? I'm far more superior than her!

Tyler and Geoff both looked at each other as Chef held a white blindfold in front of the two, suggesting one of the two boys to take it.

"You should steer, bro." Tyler said rather quickly. As much as he wanted to become more confident against Geoff, who seemed to despise him more than what was needed over what was a meer accident the day prior, his gut feeling knew that he could potentially be next if he messed up this time.

"Yeah, I guess I should, dude, we all know that you have poor handling skills." Geoff's usual chill party attitude was replaced by an unusually threatening mood.

Tyler ignored the comment and grabbed the white blindfold before looking up at the cliff above.

"As you can see, there is a twisty and winding path of straightforward, smooth sailing!" Chris narrated. "However, if you want the quickest results, you'll have to go through bumpy rocks and roots, trees with sharp branches, and a slick ramp trick at the end!"

The four participants looked above at the hill, noticing the obvious difference between the two areas.

"You can do it, Tyler!" Harold cheered or his friend, before the jock gave a thumbs-up back to him.

"Just focus on what's ahead of you and where to go!" Harold added in.

"Good luck, Geoff!" Bridgette cheered before giving a small hug to her boyfriend, which he obliged with a hug in return.

"Just try to focus on the course, 'kay?" Bridgette advised before releasing her hug.

Geoff nodded before beginning to trek up the hill.

LeShawna and Heather looked back at Katie and Noah, not much of an audience, but were compensated with Katie's aggressive cheering.

"COME ON HEATHER! COME ON LESHAWNA! CRUSH THOSE PIECES OF SHIT!"

At the top of the hill, LeShawna and Heather sat on their toboggan, the former in the front, blinded while the latter sat in the back.

To the left of the Gopher girls, closer to the camera, was Tyler and Geoff, the former in the back and the latter wearing a blindfold as well.

Chris sat at the bottom of the hill, his silvery gun in hand, aimed at the air, likely at an unsuspecting seagull, before announcing.

"On your marks…"

"Get set…"

"GO!"

BANG!
As soon as the gunshot went off, both LeShawna and Geoff used their arms to propell their respective toboggan forwards.

"LEFT!" Tyler shouted before Geoff immedietly made a left turn around an alpine tree.

"TURN RIGHT!" Heather yelled as LeShawna quickly adjusted her tobbogan around a large cobalt rock.

More and more orders could be heard being yelled from Heather and Tyler, as they both followed the smoother path.

"RIGHT!" Tyler called out.

"KEEP STRAIGHT AHEAD!" Heather called.

Both of the toboggans slid around a large rock, almost hitting each other as they rounded around the rock.

As the two tobbogans were neck and neck, Tyler stuck out his tongue at Heather while she flipped her middle finger at him in return.

Ahead of the two sleds was a heavy turn to the left, a bend around a sharp tree, favoring the two Bass boys, who were on the left side of the slope.

Heather saw an opportunity to cut through the boy's trajectory and speed ahead quickly around the bend.

"TURN LEFT! 60 DEGREES!" She screamed as LeShawna obliged to exact precision, letting the two girls slip just barely in front of Geoff and Tyler.

"Yes!" Heather cheered, almost instinctively letting go of LeShawna's shoulders in the process.

Tyler's mouth was agape as the two girls zoomed right in front of his toboggan. His mind remained speechless for a second before he blurted "HEAVY RIGHT!" to let Geoff steer away from rear-ending the Gophers.

Not but 2 seconds later, the two Bass were heading straight towards the alpine forest, towards the more difficult zone.

"LEFT!" The clumsy jock blurted again, causing Geoff to tilt ever-so slightly on course.

Around 10 meters in front of the Bass sled, LeShawna and Heather were sledding down their hill.

Up ahead of them was an alpine tree, with large sharp sticks puncturing out of it.

"RIGHT!" Heather screeched before LeShawna just barely avoided the sharp tree.

Unfortunately for the two Gophers, LeShawna swerved into a rather bumpy area, causing the bottom of the sled to slow down atop rocks and become damaged.

Heather cursed as she saw Geoff in her peripheral go around the alpine tree on the left side instead, avoiding the mud and rocks that hindered the Gopher's speed.

Suddenly, an idea formed in the quick-thinking brat's head. "LeShawna! Lean forward!"

The homegirl turned her head around at the Queen B.

"Is this another Big Girl joke?" She asked threateningly.

"It's not a joke, it's a tactic!" Heather corrected aggressively.

"Lean your weight forward to go faster!" She spat as LeShawna hastily obliged.

The Gopher sled began accelerating forward, with LeShawna's weight causing more pressure to be at the front of the sled, it was a miracle that the sled didn't flip over.

Tyler saw out of his peripheral LeShawna and Heather gaining on him, quickly glancing to his left before back in front of him only to immediately blurt out:

"SWERVE LEFT!"

Geoff listened immediately as their toboggan swerved just out of the way of a particularly spiky tree.

Tyler didn't even need to glance behind him anymore as LeShawna and Heather were far ahead of them, with LeShawna accelerating by leaning forward.

"Nice work, LeShawna! You are finally good for someth- GO RIGHT!" Heather complimented before being interrupted by a squirrel running across the sled course.

"Thanks, Heather." LeShawna simply responded before swerving to the right.

The jock was sweating nervously behind the party dude, knowing that the two gophers had smooth sailing to get to the end of the course.

The two girls quickly accelerated quicker and quicker towards the end goal, only 400 meters remained left and Tyler looked around frantically.

The only way Tyler and Geoff could get down quicker was if they took a shortcut through the side of the mountain with the aforementioned dangers that Chris warned of.

Tyler bit his lip and focused on what was directly ahead of him.

This is your chance to make up for yesterday's mistake, Tyler.

"Geoff, I'm about to go through the shortcut! Listen to everything I say carefully! Do you trust me?" He said, almost yelling as the two were speeding down the hill.

The party boy nodded from underneath his blindfolds, concentrating on his steering. "Chyeah, bro, I'm listening!" He replied.

"HEAVY LEFT!" The jock yelled as Geoff tilted the Gopher sled to face straight at the end checkpoint, with dense alpine forest in the way of the two sportos and the end.

Heather turned around and saw the two jocks entering the dense area, before snapping her head back at the front, seeing the end in sight, with the rest of the campers waiting anxiously.

A hopeful yet strained grin stretched around Katie's face while Noah next to her had a rare intrigued look.

Zeke watched as his friend entered the dense corridor, clutching his cross necklace as he did so.

Bridgette watched her boyfriend steer directly into the trees that separated the sled from the finish line, anxiously waiting for Geoff to reach her before the Gophers.

There is no way that they are making it to the bottom first. Heather silently thought as LeShawna leaned forward.

They were not but 50 meters away from the finish as their sled tipped over from the pressure of LeShawna's weight, causing Heather to fling forward a substantial amount.

"SHIT!" Heather squealed as she hit the soft grassy ground, looking back to see LeShawna scrambling blindly to get back on the board.

Back in the dense passage, Tyler put as much concentration as he possibly could. Not a single thought occupied his mind other than getting him and his teammate to the end first.

"LEFT!" He instructed as Geoff tilted left around a tree.

"RIGHT!" He ordered as Geoff tilted around another skinny tree.

"RIGHT!" He repeated as Geoff continued tilting around four skinny trees.

"DUCK!" He demanded uniquely as the two boys ducked underneath a fallen tree leaning against another.

Back with the girls. LeShawna finally scrambled back on the board while Heather hopped on the back of the ghetto girl.

Heather glanced to her left quickly, noting that the two Bass boys were still caught up in dense forest, smirking while she ordered LeShawna to "MUSH!" to the finish line.

"GO RIGHT!" Tyler ordered as Geoff steered around one more skinny tree. He saw the two Gopher girls back on their sled inching towards the finish line and saw a slopey rock that the two of them could use to reach the finish, and with all hope he told Geoff to steer one last time. Just a little bit to the-

"LEFT!"

And the two boys skied towareds the rocky ramp just as LeShawna and Heather were 10 meters away from the finish.

Tyler leaned forward, as did Geoff who could instinctively tell that he was close to the end as well.

The crowd watched with anticipation as to who would reach the end first.

Is this it? Tyler thought in the span of a second.

Am I going to make up for my shortcomings?

I'm so close, am I going to make it? I cannot lose now…

SLAM!

Was the answer to Tyler's question, as the two Bass boys painfully slammed right into a tree that Geoff was unable to steer around.

"AND THE SCREAMING GOPHERS WIN!" Chris announced, just as LeShawna and Heather both crossed the finish line, letting Noah and a much more enthusiastic Katie to cheer for their team's victory.

LeShawna and Heather grinned jovially as the ghetto girl stepped off her board and snatched off her white blindfold, waving it valiantly in the air.

The rest of the Bass groaned in annoyance as they had lost for a second time in a row.

"Dammit…" Courtney muttered under her breath, looking at Bridgette, who shared a similar frown of sorrow.

"It looks like the fishies have to reel in another favorite loser to be executed! Two days in a row!" Chris announced gladfully, excited for the upcoming execution ceremony.

Zeke and Harold both gave a worried glance at each other, knowing that one of their trio would be demoted into a duet.

Duncan and Courtney immediately glanced a look at the two lanky Bass members, who gave a worried look to the sledder who was likely to be voted out, Tyler.

"Anyways! The Bass inch closer to doom! Finally equalizing the teams again as-"

"AAAAH! OH CRAP! OH HOLY CRAP!"

The screams of a sledder snapped the necks of all the spectators who sat at the base of the mountain.

The sudden stop of a sharp tree was not a smooth stop.

Tyler clutched his chest painfully and backed away from the sled, blood could be seen blending with his red tracksuit as his right chest was lightly punctured from ramming into a sharp tree with sharp branches.

His teammate was not as fortunate.

Bridgette's eyes went wide. Complete hopelessness filled her as a blindfold flew through the air, the sudden impact caused from the tree let the wind snatch the blindfold off of the Bass and into the air.

The two's eyes locked with each other for a final time as Geoff watched the sweet summer soul of Bridgette in absolute terror.

The experience was not as painful as one would might expect, as shock completely stopped Geoff's brain from processing the pain of a large branch puncturing through his chest and out the other end, with mere seconds remaining for him.

The party blonde didn't dare to look down at his pain. Didn't dare to look back at the mortified jock who accidentally caused all of this.

He just looked at Bridgette's sweet innocent eyes for One. Last. Time.

(Confessional: Courtney)

The CIT took in a deep breath as she yanked on her hair.

"This… was not a part of the fucking plan!"

She took in another deep breath, completely lost in surprise and thought.

"I… honestly don't know what to do know… We've lost an alliance member, Bridgette is hurt physically and emotionally now… She's a complete mess… it is not pretty…"

Courtney hugged her legs and pulled them closer.

"God… what will I have to do after this?"

(End Confessional: Courtney)

(Confessional: Harold)

The dweeb sat awkwardly in the confessional. A weird expression mixed between solace, shock, impressment, and guilt could be seen on his face.

"Gosh… that was crazy… on one end, it's obviously horrific that Geoff died in the hands of trusting Tyler, but at the same time, I'm… sorta glad?"
The nerd pushed up his glasses and corrected himself.

"Well, I'm glad that my alliance is now equal to Dunan's… we might even have a chance to break this tiebreaker! And that would do wicked wonders for the three of us!"

Harold's enthusiastic smile turned into a frown.

"Is that weird? I mean, it's probably dishonorable… but hey, as long as I live, I guess…

(End Confessional: Harold)

The camera flashed to dark night skies above, signifying that hours had passed.

The camera panned down below, where Bridgette was stuck weeping on the lawn chair she and Geoff had spent much time cuddling each other in.

"W- why…?" She mumbled sorrowfully.

She sniffled again before continuing to cry against the armrest of the lawn chair, deep in sorrow.

Of to the side of the scene, Courtney could be seen reciting something in her mind. The CIT took a deep breath and walked up awkwardly to Bridgette.

Courtney neared the weeping girl and sat next to her on the end of the lawn chair.

"Hi, Bridgette…" Courtney said whilst rubbing her hand comfortably on Bridgette's shoulder.

The perfectionist could feel every cry emitted from Bridgette as her body shook with each sob.

Is this how Katie felt after yesterday?

Courtney sighed again as Bridgette bawled uncontrollably.

"Look, Bridgette… I'm… so sorry how things ended with you and Geoff…" Courtney stated vaguely as if the two of them had broken up rather than Geoff's pancreas being broken from the puncture.

Bridgette's cry cooled down for a bit, as she sniffled again, tuning Courtney into her mind.

Bridgette's wet eyes darted up to face Courtney, not saying a peep.

"I hope everything gets back to normal soon, Bridge." Courtney lied, knowing things would never be normal from here.

"I'm super sorry about Geoff. He was lucky to have you and was an excellent team member, ally, but most importantly, a genuinly kind person."

Bridgette sniffled in response. Courtney kept her hand on Bridgette's shoulder rubbing the light blue fabric of her hoodie against the surfer's smooth shoulder.

"This never should have happened, but I don't want Geoff's departure to distract you too much from our goal of getting out of here alive. Geoff wouldn't want you to end up like this, right? He'd want you to fight on! Geoff would want you to prove that you can still be strong without him! He wouldn't want to see you crying like this, right?"

Courtney's enthusiasm was received by more sorrowful sniffles from the teary eyed girl.

"There is so much more that we can live through, and even though it seems tough now, imagine how it will feel when we- you're out of here. Geoff would be so proud of you for all you would have done, Bridge."

Bridgette responded with tragic silence as she sniffled one last time, expecting Courtney to give her a hug, or something.

Instead, Courtney just stood up, gave a smile to Bridgette and stated.

"Live for Geoff, Bridge, it's what he would want."

Before walking away off-screen.

Bridgette rested her head on the armrest, with an end to her sobs, she just sat in teary thought, lost in the memories she had in her short two weeks with Geoff.

Tyler barged through the door in absolute distress.

How could he have done this?

He messed up big time.

More than any of the trips or miscalculations he had done before in sports.

He had caused the death of Geoff.

Tyler groaned and yanked on his hair hard. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the one person he needed the most, Ezekiel.

The prairie boy was kneeling by his bunkside, praying. His toque was taken off and placed neatly on the side of the bed.

"Z- Zeke-"

"Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen."

Ezekiel stood up from his bedside and equipped his toque.

"Hello, Tyler." He said.

"Ezekiel-" Tyler responded jitterly.

"I assume you aren't feeling well, eh?"

The jock sat down on what used to be DJ's bed and shook his head no.

The prarie boy nodded.

"I-" Tyler had no idea where to start.

"I thought when you said that I'd have time to make up for my mistakes, you'd meant that I'd finally be able to do better in challenges. But now… I… killed Geoff… by accident, right? And now, I have no idea what's going to happen! I don't know what to do! I keep thinking about how if I sat in the front! I don't even know how I should talk about this with the fucking confessional! I don't know how the others are going to treat me tomorrow! Christ, I don't even know how Chris is going to reprimand me for this tomorrow!"

The jock was in clear distress, tugging hard on the bedsheets, groaning at his silly mistake.

"Tyler." Ezekiel said calmly, leaning forward as he sat on his bunk, facing straight into Tyler's worried eyes.

The jock looked straight at the homeschooler's eyes, taking a deep breath.

"Look, what happened happened. And there is no denying that you made a terrible mistake, eh?"

He nodded frantically in response.

"You can't change the past, but you can still make it up. Not by 'doing better in challenges' eh? That's not what I meant. What I meant was that you can try to be a better person, helping out your fellow people. You may not come out of this alive, but we don't always get what we pray for, eh?"

The stressed sporto nodded while breathing out deeply.

"You messed up Tyler, but sometimes you have to take a path that leads to not what you want to do, but what is morally right, eh?"

Jusin and Noah walked back from their dinner, far later in the day. The two of them and Heather had already discussed their opinions on Geoff's death, which was concluded as not much of an effect on them.

Heather didn't even know the name of Geoff, always refering to him as 'The Beach Blonde Bimbo Boy' instead.

Even though Noah wasn't often in the mood for dinner, his skinny body demanded for some rations, especially since his sickness had finally began to wore off.

Justin was rather surprised of the result of Geoff's death. As he was in the infirmary, covered with bruises from the crabapples thrown to him earlier. Despite his whinings, they simply didn't damage any concrete parts of his build critically, only causing minor bruises to damage his skin, which he whined endlessly about.

As the two final Gopher boys approached their cabin, they heard an unsual mix of joyful sobbing emmitting from the girl's side of the cabin.

The two looked at each other and knew who it was that was sobbing on their lonesome in the cabin.

"Yeah, yeah." Noah responded dismissively to the 'anti-him'. "I'm on 'Katie Duty' you just go do your makeup or whatever"

Justin silently nodded before entering the boy's cabin, pulling out a handmirror as he did so.

Noah took in a deep nasally breath before he entered the girl's cabin, where Katie was crying uncontrollably in her bed.

The bookworm bit his lip as Katie's sobs turned into brief laughter before turning back into cries.

This sudden change creeped out Noah, who felt a sense of eerieness as he looked around the dark dusty wooden cabin. The only sound in the room was Katie switching eerily from sounds of sobs to sounds of laughter.

"Katie? Is everything okay?"

The lonesome girl sat on her bed facing the wall, nodding in response to Noah's question.

"I'm… fine Noah…" She said before turning around to reveal a strained and weary smile.

Katie's soft smile calmed the bookworm from the eerieness of the room as he sat in one of the open beds that were around the room.

"What… what was all that crying and laughter about?" Noah asked.

"I… I just thought… now they know how it feels, you know? To loose someone you love? Now they know what it feels like… They deserve that…"

Noah shrugged in response. "I guess I'm not familiar with the feeling…" His sense of unease returned to him as Katie sniffled.

"Noah? Why did Sadie have to die?" She asked innocently, catching the schemer off guard.

"Um," he responded, choosing his word choice very carefully. "I mean, it was the other team's choice… it has nothing to do with you, it's not your fault Katie…"

Katie sniffled again.

"But it feels like it is… maybe this is because of what I did to Cody? Or to Beth?"

The Malaysian girl's reminder of those two names brought a frown to Noah's face.

"It's not that…" He responded.

"If I didn't frame Cody or fought Beth… maybe none of this would have happened…"

Noah could feel the guilt of his sins crawling up his back. That was what the sense of eerieness was. He could feel it not only patter along his spine, but he could feel it watching him, listening to him, reminding him, judging him.

The twiggy girl sighed again before laying back in her bed.

"I shouldn't have done those things when I had the chance…" Katie mumbled to herself.

Noah, feeling the dread watching him, nodded in response. "I guess we shouldn't have… huh?

Chris sat on the dock as the sun set towards evening with a less than enthusiastic smile.

"Ugh, I didn't get to see any tension in the execution ceremony today…"

His less than enthusiastic smile turned into one with high enthusiasm.

"But that was seen much more at the end of this episode! Huh? How will Bridgette act without Geoff to comfort her? How will Tyler face off against his crime? What will come of all the ruckus in the Gophers? Will Courtney's allaince or Harold's alliance take over the tensions of the Killer Bass? Find out next time on Total! Drama! Island!

Why was Geoff eliminated?

Ah… Geoffrey… he started off with a simple arc trying to get with Bridgette, just chilling on the island, y'know? After that, I didn't pay much attention to him, up until the last chapter, where his position as head chef caused a bit of tension between him and Courtney and the fiasco at the end of the chapter obviously caused a little heat with him and Tyler… I'm excited to expand more with these character's reactions and actions after Geoff's departure…

And to those excited to see more divergence from Despair Island… if you know, you know…

Anyways! That's that! Apologies for this chapter taking a bit longer than usual! I've been quite busy with personal stuff recently! I hope I've made it up with this banger of a chapter!

- How will Bridgette fare without Geoff? How far will she get?

- How will Tyler continue to act after directly causing Geoff's death? How far will he get?

- How will the tension in the Gophers end?

- Will Katie get over Sadie's death or die trying?

- What will happen with the high tension in the Bass? Which alliance will come out on top before merge hits?

Find out next time! And be sure to leave a review with answers to the questions above!
