(This will be the final chapter of this story, for now, I will explain in detail after the chapter. It's been a few months since I wrote anything so I'm a little out of practice)

It was a quiet Friday night. Amity was currently in bed filling out a student application for the University of Wild Magic. She was pretty much guaranteed to get in. Not only was her wife's mentor the headmaster, but she was an honor student at Hexside, and with her grades, she could potentially skip a semester and be in the same classes as Luz. However, even with all that she still had to apply like everyone else. Not that she minded, she didn't want any kind of handout. The idea of balancing school studies and Blight Industries seemed difficult, but Amity had her friends and family to help her, and since Blight Industries was making more practical things instead of weapons, it wouldn't be as hard to come up with new contraptions. As Amity was putting the finishing touches on the application the bedroom door swung open.

"I'm back, Hermosa!" Luz happily yelled as she busted through the door.

Amity giggled at her wife's silliness, "Welcome back! Did you get them?"

"I sure did." Luz answered and went into her pocket and pulled out 2 pieces of paper, "Tickets to the Grudgby championship! Sorry it took me so long to get home, that line was long."

"It's okay, but you should know better than to never underestimate Bonesborough's love for the Hexside Banshees."

"Oh, I'm such a fool!" Luz joked. She quickly ran into the bathroom, put on her PJs, and jumped on the bed next to Amity. "I'm so happy that I can finally lay down."

"Long day?" Amity asked.

Luz nodded, "3 long tests and then I had to wait in line for 4 hours on my feet for those dang tickets." She turned her head to look at Amity, "So Hermosa, what have you been doing?"

Amity grabbed some papers from the bedside table and handed them to Luz, "I've been helping Dad come up with some ideas for new products, and these are what we came up with, and when I got back, I started my student application."

"I've been meaning to talk to you about that." Luz grabbed Amity's hand, "Are you sure you want to do it? It's quite a lot to put on your plate "

"You don't think I can do it?" Amity teased

Luz shook her head frantically, "No I do! I just don't want you to stress yourself out by stretching yourself too thin. But I totally know you can do it, I just-"

Amity squeezed her hand which stopped Luz from talking, "Luz, I was just teasing. But yeah I'm sure. I know it's gonna be hard, but it's something I want to do, and it could help me when I take control of Blight Industries."

Luz squeezed Amity's hand back and smiled at her, "Then I'll support you every step of the way, and I won't lie, being the only married couple on campus sounds pretty cool"

Amity laughed at Luz again before speaking, "I actually wanna talk to you about something too…"

"Oh?"

"So when you did that interview with Gus's dad, and you mentioned you wanted to travel outside the Isles..."

Luz winced a bit; she forgot she said that in the interview but never really talked about it with Amity.

"Yeah… I did, sorry I never mentioned this before."

Amity lightly squeezed Luz's hand, "Don't be silly, you don't need to be sorry. But what made you want to travel?"

Luz leaned back and looked at the ceiling in silence trying to think of how to explain.

"Well… ever since I started attending the University one of my professors mentioned that it's unknown what's out there. No one has traveled very far outside the Isles. So, in between classes, I would go to the school library and read up and see if there was anything on record and I came up with nothing. So I started thinking maybe one day the two of us could travel and see what's out there!"

Amity smiled and laid her head down next to Luz's.

"I actually like the idea of traveling with you and seeing what we can find. But why have you never mentioned this?"

"Seems kinda like a pipe dream. Plus I wouldn't want to put Ghost and Stringbean through kind of harsh travel. Poor things would be so exhausted flying us for hours.

Suddenly Amity jolted up, "I have an idea!"

"Huh? What?" Luz asked in confusion.

"How about after the semester we do it!?"

"You mean to travel outside the Isles?"

Amity nodded, "Yeah! We can be an adventuring couple." Luz smirked at Amity whose face turned after realizing how dumb that sounded. "Okay, I know that didn't sound as cool as it did in my head, but you get what I mean…"

Luz laughed, "That. Sounds. Great! I can just imagine the shenanigans we'll get into!"

"And it could give us something to talk to our future kids about…"

Luz's face turned a hint of pink after Amity said that. Yes, they did agree that after school, they would start a family, but it still flustered one of them when the other brought it up. However, it would only briefly fluster them cause they knew that wasn't gonna be for a long time.

"So where would you like to live?" Luz asked very abruptly in an attempt to change the subject.

Amity looked at her wife, taken aback by the sudden question, "What?"

"After we finish college," Luz clarified, "We obviously can't still live in the dorms after that, so where would you like to live?"

Amity thought about it for a second. She never really thought about that. They could always live in Blight Manor, considering how large it is, but Amity didn't want to live there for the rest of her life.

"Well, I'm open to living in either this world or the human world. But regardless I would like to live by the portal so we can go back and forth whenever we want."

Luz nods in agreement, "Yeah, I don't want to be far away from our friends and family."

"Would you want to live in town?"

Luz thought about it for a minute, "I don't want to leave Bonesborough, but I would also like to live in a secluded place. Kinda like Eda."

"There aren't many places like that around, though; in fact, I think the Owl House is the only house like that."

Luz put her hand to her chin and started to think. "Oh I got it!" she exclaimed, "We can build a house."

"That's a great idea!" Amity responded, "We could build it in front of our Grom tree!"

Luz laughed at her Wife's adorable enthusiasm, "I would love that." Luz had no idea how they would build the house but that would be figured out in the future.

Luz and Amity laid their heads on their respective pillows. As they laid comfortably in there lovingly at each other. They would stay that way for a minute until Luz spoke up.

"Your eyes…"

"Huh?"

Luz grabbed Amity's hand, "I want our child to have your beautiful gold eyes."

Amity's face turned full red, "We've been together all these years and are even married, and I still get flustered."

Luz squeezed Amity's hand, "I know, and I love it, which is why I always try to fluster you."

Amity poked Luz's Nose, "You jerk." she teased.

"But you still love me."

"I do…" Amity confirmed, "Hey Luz, Can you……hold me?"

Luz smiled at her wife, wrapped her arms around her and pulled her close. "Of course, my sweet potato."

Amity let out a happy sigh, returned the gesture, and wrapped her arms around Luz as well.

Luz broke the brief silence, "This is nice. We are both so busy that normally one of us is asleep when the other gets back…"

"Well, we both have a lot going on but we make it work," Amity replies, "Don't we"

"I love you so much Amity."

"I love you too, Luz; I can't imagine what my life would be like without you. I probably would have ended up just like my mot- I mean Odalia."

Luz pulled Amity closer, "Don't think like that, we are in each other's lives and will be forever."

Amity placed a kiss on Luz's lips which Luz eagerly returned. They soon fell into a deep sleep in each other's arms.

(AUTHORS NOTES: I have had writers block for months! But finally I'm don't with this story. Now as far with the rest of this AU (Part 3 maybe 4) I have some other things I want to write that are not owl house related so part 3 might be put on hold for a bit. Having said that, I have no idea when my next work is gonna come. So I just need to chill for a little bit. But please share my stories and let me know that my writing hasn't gone to waste.
