Wally wiped the sweat off of his face as he ran towards Gorilla Grodd, delivering a super speed powered punch with a sprinkle of lightning to it, immediately knocking the villain out.

'Great job, Flash!' Batman praised Wally, who smiled weekly:

'Thanks, Bats.' he responded, dabbing at the sweat forming under his mask with his hand, causing for the suit to have to stretch uncomfortably as he wiped at it, unable to remove it since, duh, secret identity.

Batman shook his head as he saw the pathetic attempt at wiping away the sweat as he clipped handcuffs on Grodd, glancing back at Wally, who was hopping from one foot to another, texting someone at lightning speed on his phone. Wally glanced up:

'Needa go into work, Bats. You got this?' Batman nodded and in a gush of wind, Flash was gone.

*Central City, 11th of April, 7:02 am*Wally West POV*

I rushed into work, exactly 8 minutes early. Sergeant Grey looked up: 'That's a first.' he joked, 'Someone in your family die? Someone blackmailing you?'

I forced a chuckled: 'Yeah, the ghost of my great-grandpa came to gave me a visit, telling me about the second World War and how I was a disgrace to the entire bloodline!'

Sergeant Grey laughed, then turned to business: 'There are three open cases on your desk, you think you can get them done today.'

'Nothing Wally West can't do!' I cried out dramatically, quickly rushing - for a normal human being - up the stairs and into the lab.

I arrived to find I was the only one present at the time. I heaved a sigh of relief as I fell down on my desk chair, pulling my fingers through my hair. I looked at myself in Jessica Jones' mirror that was standing on her desk and frowned when I was met with my slightly pale countenance.

I sighed: I knew what was going on. It had been going on ever since I had got my powers, it had just got worse ever since I helped form the Justice League, and putting in extra hours. Now that people started trusting me more and more, Bats asked me to go on more missions.

I should feel honoured the big bad bat trusted me so much, but I just felt empty. More missions meant more food to be eaten. More food meant more money needing to be made. Money that I couldn't make.

Of course, I loved that Bats was starting to trust me more, but it hurt so much how much I was running around on nothing. I hadn't eaten since yesterday midday, when I took a banana as a snack. My salary had lessened ever since Luthor had came into the picture as president. Apparently he thought the police didn't really need all that money. Dumb Luthor, I didn't need money?! I was practically starving!

I sighed as I picked up the report, my head reeling slightly as my vision blurred temporarily. I shook it off, just praying I could get these done soon.

*Starling City, 11th of April, 12:03 pm*Green Arrow POV*

I dodged the attack from Metallo as I glanced over at Flash. I had called him in as back-up. I wasn't about to admit it, but I respected the guy. He was one of the founding members, and despite all of his dumb dad jokes - seriously he should become one soon: he would do a great job at embarrassing his kids - he pulled more than his weight.

In all honesty: he did more than anyone else.

He was worrying me though: this whole fight he had made only one quip at the villain, for the rest of the time resorting to only speaking to warn people or come up with plans.

He didn't come up with plans in the usual way either: normally he would suggest at the plan and someone else would understand what he was hinting at and "come up" with the plan. None of us knew why he did it: underselling himself, but he did it, and we accepted it as one of his character traits.

Today, however, he just blurted out the plans: smart plans, genius plans, just sucking them out of his thumb on the go. Don't get me wrong: I loved that he was finally formulating his whole plans out loud, but it was weird that he did it so suddenly and was otherwise so quiet.

Flash sped forward, punching Metallo hard in the chest. Winning an approving ooh from Dinah. I shot her a puppy eyes look:

'Can't you ooh like that when I do that kind of stuff?' I complained, providing an opportunity for Flash to throw in a quip. Dinah waited for him to do it as well, but to both of our surprise he didn't do it, so she was forced to answer:

'You don't punch someone with electricity pulsing from your fists, he's a lot cooler than you in that aspect.' She provided lazily, knowing the only reason I had complained was to have Flash joke. 'Switch to Channel 2.' she commanded me, then to Flash: 'Hey, we're just switching to another channel to discuss relationship stuff.'

We waited for him to make a joke about how we would probably not be talking to long, but he just said: 'Sure, just keep on paying attention to the fight.'

'Sure thing, Flash.' I answered, then switched channels as I kept firing arrows at Metallo: 'Dinah, I assume you're just as worried as I am.'

Dinah grunted as she kicked Metallo and Flash ran off to give another supercharged punch: 'Not like him to miss 2 very obvious chances to throw in a quip. Did you notice him being so irratable earlier? He barked me off for asking how his job was going.'

'Man, an angry Flash: those two words just don't fit together well, never should appear in the same sentence.' I noted with distaste, 'Do you think something's going on in his personal life?'

'Don't know, but I assume so: someone would have to die or almost die before he gets grumpy.'

'Should we ask him about it?' I quirried, as one of my arrows hit the mark and Flash punched Metallo again, making him fly back against a building, finally unconscious.

'Yeah, but I will.' she answered quickly, then ran over to help Flash cuff Metallo.

I smiled at him: 'Thanks for the help, Flash.' he just nodded:

'No problem.' he replied monotonously.

'You okay?' Dinah inquired.

'Fine.'

'You don't seem fine.'

'I'm fine.' he growled back at her. He ACTUALLY growled at her! That was Batman behaviour, not Flash behaviour.

'You're not ACTING fine.' I pointed out, making him focus a glare on me. I made a mental note never to get on his bad side: that glare easily surpassed that of Batman.

'Long day at work he supplied. Gotta go, got my city to protect.' he answered ,speeding off before either of us could say anything more.

Dinah glanced over at me: 'Not to be that person, but should we maybe bring this up with the others?'

He wrinkled my nose: 'I don't really think we have a choice at this point: he's totally out of it. If he pulled on a Batman costume, I would totally believe it was the big bad bat himself!'

*The Watchtower, 11th of April, 9:00 pm*Wally West POV*

I rushed into the watchtower, just in time. Honestly, if I were late, I couldn't have been held accountable. Telling someone ten minutes before a meeting that there would be a meeting was quite rude.

I paused before the door of the meeting room, taking in a deep breath, trying to get my tunnelling vision back to normal. I felt nauseous: weird, I hadn't eaten in about 18 hours! Why would one be nauseous if they hadn't even eaten recently.

Honestly, even if I was offered food, I would probably deny it: I felt horrible. I felt confused half of the time at the moment: I had had made someone at work repeat the same sentence 5 times because I didn't understand it. The Sergeant had sent me home, saying to go the the hospital as well. Right: like I had the money for that.

I breathed in deeply, hoping my pale complexion and slightly stumbling walk wouldn't be too noticeable. My coordination had gone out of the window 4 hours ago: all I had right now was the hopeful vision of my bed as soon as this meeting was over.

I opened the door and stepped inside. Supes, Bats, Wonder Woman, GL, Shayera, GA and Black Canary were already seated. I furrowed my brows when I noticed the latter two: it was supposed to be a founders only meeting. Why were they here? Where they why the meeting was called, Where they okay?

'Why are you guys here? This meeting about you two? Are you two okay?' I rapidly asked, voicing my concerns, making Black Canary shake her head in reassurance:

'We're fine.' she told me kindly, and I raised my eyebrows, taking my usual seat:

'If you say so.' I noted, scrutinising them carefully as GA turned to Bats:

'See, this is what I mean!' he exclaimed, gesturing at me. I raised my eyebrows:

'Care to enlighten me.'

Supes mouth fell open at this and Shayera took on a worried expression. Bats spoke up:

'Ga and Black Canary noticed some concerning behaviour from yours. GA said, and I quote: "He glared at me so angrily! His glare is even scarier than yours!" Of course, I need to defend my title as top glarer, so I want to know what is going on.' Bats joked, looking at me expectantly, probably waiting for me to laugh and quip something back, but I seriously did not have the energy for that right now. I just stared at him, trying to clear my blurry vision, when Supes gasped.

*Superman POV*

I glanced with a smile at Flash, waiting for him to laugh at Bats comment and add something of his own. But he didn't. He just stared dumbly.

I squinted my eyes, then listened to his heartbeat. I gasped: something was wrong. His heartbeat was way faster than usual. Like way faster. Also it was irregular, sometimes skipping about two beats.

Flash glanced at me and he blinked slowly. I stood up: 'Flash.' I started, but he was quicker than me, sighing:

'If that was all: I need to go.' he stated as he stood up, taking a step then swaying from side to side. I scrambled around the table so I could catch him if he collapsed, but I was too afraid: Flash hit the floor.

*Batman POV*

I saw the boy scout say Flash's name in concern, then rush around the table, for what reason I wasn't sure. Until Flash collapsed.

Superman was immediately by his side as I rushed over. The crash had made it out of the meeting room and several leageurs peeked in, only to find the sight of an unconscious Flash on the floor. Several cursed and one shouted he was getting the medbay ready.

I checked for a pulse and found a way too fast thrum. 'How did you know?' I asked Superman, already suspecting the answer as I propped Flash's head into my lap, checking for breathing every few seconds.

'His heartbeat is way too fast and irregular. I heard it miss two whole beats.' Wonder Woman, who had positioned herself next to me, gasped at that.

I glanced at the door, hoping whichever leageur was coming with the stretcher would come soon. Then, Flash's body jerked. I gasped: he was having a seizure.

Superman was stressing out: 'What do we do?!' he squeeked. Wonder Woman was already timing it next to me as I grabbed every jacket I could to cushion his seizing body. Shayera and John were handing me their sweaters as well.

My breath hitched in my throat as I saw my friend seizing on the floor, unable to do anything. His frail body bounced up and down as tears pricked in the corners of my eyes. I couldn't lose him, we couldn't lose him. He was the heart of our team. We needed him. We needed our friend.

Finally, he stopped seizing, just as leaguers entered with a stretcher. '3 minutes and 5 seconds.' Wonder Woman noted as we rushed our teammate off to the medbay. Several leaguers looking up in surprise and concern. But I paid them no heed: the only thing that mattered now was saving Flash. I had to save him, I just needed to figure out what I was saving him from first.

*The Watchtower medbay, 12th of April, noon*Wally West POV*

Consciousness came back slowly to me as I lay on something soft. I didn't move and kept my breath steady like I had seen Bats do once when we had been captured and he had faked sleeping.

My hearing came back slowly, and I caught a convesatin midway:

'... I still can't believe he has been starving since he became a Supe.' Was that Shayera?

'I can't believe he didn't tell us.' someone else grumbled. John.

'Probably emberassed.' Bats noted.

'When will he wake up?' Wonder Woman asked.

'Soon. His body went through a lot, we should only start getting nervous if he doesnt wake in an hour.' Bats answered shortly. 'Now that he is still out: do you think he would be insulted if I offered him to pay for his food?'

'You could do that?' John asked incredulously.

Batman sighed: 'I think, in all fairness, since we removed his mask and now know who he is, we all should reveal who we are as well.' affirmatives came from the others as I heard people removing their masks.

A gasp: 'Bruce Wayne?!' Supes exclaimed and I heard a chuckle:

'Yeah. So: I have the money. Also, get him a better apartement. His sucks. I broke into it while he was unconscious: he doesn't even have a bed!'

I groaned, having heard enough of this, signalling that I was waking up. A squek was heard from Wonder Woman as she rushed over:

'Flash? Wally?'

I blinked my eyes open lazily and smiled losidely at Diana Price, who, apparantly, was Wonder Woman: 'Hiya.' I said softly as she pusehd a glass of water into my hands.

I drank greedily as the others observed me. I downed the whole glass, looking down a the IV in my arm: 'Can I take that out?' I inquired.

'Not yet.' Bats, or Bruce Wayne, told me, 'You still need it in.' I nodded silently. Supes spoke up:

'You gave us quite the scare: you had a total of 3 seizures man.'

'Sorry.' I mumbled.

'Why didn't you tell us you were starving?' Shayera demanded to know as I shrugged:

'Stupid pride, I guess. Also I thought I had it under control.'

Bruce huffed: 'Yeah, that seemed like you had it under control.' I smiled up at him and shrugged. His expression hardened: 'From now on, I am paying for all your food, and you're moving to a better appartment. If you try to argue, I will sue you for all your worth. Your choice.' he added sweetly.

I smiled back at him: 'Don't wanna be sued. Guess I'll accept.' he smiled. 'Thanks Bats.' I said softly, looking down at my hands. He smiled:

'Yeah, just next time, which really should not exist: tell us okay?'

'Okay.' I told him with a nod.

'Well,' John said, clapping his hands together, 'Let's get that IV out and get some sugar in you at Bruce's place: he promised us a family dinner.'

'With the Robins?' I questioned, trying to hide my smile.

Bats glared at me: 'Yes. I advise you to not try to convince them again to paint the bat car pink.'

'What?!' I squeeked, surprised that he knew of our long lasting friendship, I cleared my throat: 'You have no proff. Therefore I allegedly did that.'

He shook his head and laughed: 'Just if you ever do it again, do anything but pink please.'

'How's baby-pink sound.'

'Oh please no.' he groaned as I just laughed.
