Karna: *looks at Tsukiko* What is it?
Tsukiko: *looks apprehensive* ... You know those times I spent as... you know, not myself? Me being the Seven Sages' attack dog and to be disposed of when they're through with me?
Karna: ... Yeah, that was a dick move on their part. I mean... when I took that plunge... I thought I'd never see you ever again. And alive for that matter.
Tsukiko: *snorts in amusement* ... Guess miracles do exist, huh?
Karna: I'm just grateful that I still held onto my dying will to live for long enough to see you again. Honestly... *sniffles a tear* ... I'm glad you held on, too.
Tsukiko: *chuckles* ... Like adopted daughter and father, huh, tou-san? We're both stubborn bastards that refuse to die when told to by others.
Karna: *rubs Tsukiko's hair affectionately* Only because I raised you right, pumpkin.
Tsukiko: *laughs being tickled at* I guess so!
*two share a laugh before sighing, laying on the ground and staring at the night sky*
Tsukiko: ... You know, I get the feeling that we didn't hang out enough as parent and child. And I don't mean fighting and murdering together as our "bonding activities." I mean like... normal stuff?
Karna: What do you got in mind?
Tsukiko: Dunno, tou-san. You mind helping me make a bucket list of things to do?
