In Ninjago City, the resistance saw Garmadon controlling the Colossus and smashing every building in its way. "Guys, we need to go, pronto!" Dareth called as the others crowded around Skylor.
"Skylor, you have to wake up!" Lloyd urged while holding Skylor.
"We have to run!" Nya stated.
"Run?! One of us can't even stand!" Dareth pointed out while gesturing to Skylor's state.
"I hate to admit it, but Dareth's right! Skylor can't even speak!" Demir pointed out as the Colossus got closed while picking up a car as it reel its arm back.
"I don't think we have a choice." Rose said as she saw what the Colossus was doing.
"Let's move!" Lloyd called as he got Skylor over his shoulder as they rushed to the stairs, but the car hit the entrance, blocking and destroying it as the Colossus smashed a building beside them.
"Looks like we'll have to parkour it." Demir said as they rushed to the edge of the building and saw the gap between them. "We can make it."
"Jump, Dareth!" Nya urged as the Colossus tossed another car, which missed them as Dareth found the adrenaline and jumped to the other building, but he over shot it and was holding onto the edge.
Nya jumped next as she landed on the building and quickly got Dareth back up as Demir and Rose followed as they turned to Lloyd holding Skylor. "Throw her over!" Rose called out.
"That's not gonna work…" Lloyd said as he saw the Colossus about to punch him.
"Lloyd, no!" Nya shouted as Lloyd jumped up just as the Colossus smashed its fist on the building, which Lloyd landed on its hand as they stared eye to eye as the Colossus swung it's hand as Lloyd ran to the edge of the hand.
"Lloyd! Yes!" Dareth cheered as Lloyd jumped and made it as he and Skylor fell on the floor as the others rushed to them and picked them up and quickly ran out of sight while Dareth gave a whimper as they left the building, which the Colossus lost sight of.
Back in Borg's tower, Garmadon panted while Misako watched in horror at what he was doing. "You think you can hide from my wrath?!" Garmadon questioned as he controlled the Colossus and smashed more buildings. "I'll destroy every building to find you!" He roared as he kept going on his destruction.
"What has become of you?" Misako muttered, never seeing Garmadon's rage like this or willing to destroy all of Ninjago just to find Lloyd.
With Lloyd's group, they manage to get away from the Colossus as they took cover in some wreckage as they took a breather while Lloyd placed Skylor down as Gayle Gossip spoke up in the televisions. "Everyone should flee the city at once. Nowhere is safe!" She urged.
"Ever since what happened with the Colossus, Garmadon's lost his fucking marbles!" Dareth called out in panic.
"He certainly wasn't happy with us messing with his toys." Demir added.
"Demir and Dareth are right. He's not going to stop until he finds us." Nya said.
"I know." Lloyd said to her.
"There's only one thing that can withstand that." Nya continued. "I ditched the Battle Wagon across town. If we can get to it, we can leave the city."
"Leave the city?!" Lloyd asked in shock.
"Just until things calmed down." Nya quickly added.
"We can't leave the city, the people need our help!" Rose told her.
"Yeah!" Demir added with a glare. "You want us to abandon them to their fate?!"
"But Burmesia is leading them to safety!" Nya reminded them.
"Uh, in case you've forgotten Nya, Ninjago City is freaking gigantic!" Demir pointed out. "And with Garmadon in his mood, she won't get all of them underground in time!"
"Not only that but Burmesia and the Serpentine could only do so much, we need to help the people!" Lloyd added.
"Guys." Dareth spoke up to them. "I'm with Nya. Mystake said we needed to survive until the Ninja got back. Well, where are they, huh?"
"You know as well as we all do that the Resistance Never Quits, same with Ninja!" Demir pointed out. "We've faced bigger things, and that never stops us! No matter how big or small!"
"And Nya, you never run from a fight! But saying we should stay hidden and just leave the city when things aren't better, that's not the Ninja way!" Rose added.
"So what do you say, either you're a coward, or a Ninja!" Demir said with a serious look.
Nya looked at the others and was a bit hesitant to fight, but then she sighed in defeat before showing a determined look. "Let's go be Ninja!" She said with determination.
Demir and Rose smiled, as did Lloyd as Dareth gave a sigh. "Well, might as well join the winning vote." He said with a shrug. "But as I was gonna say next, there's no shame in knowing when to turn tail."
"True, but when has that ever stopped us?" Rose asked as Dareth thought for a moment.
"True." Dareth nodded.
"Glad we all agree on something." Demir nodded as they turned to Lloyd. "Okay, Lloyd, what's the plan? We might be small, but we did big things before. And I would rather die fighting on my feet than live in cowardness on my knees."
Lloyd looked at them for a moment before looking up to the sky as he spoke. "We go to the Battle Wagon." He started as he then picked up Skylor while giving a determined look. "But we're not skipping town. We hold on, for as long as we can." He declared.
"There is the Golden Ninja we know and love." Demir said with a smirk as he armored up. "Now, let's roll."
"Wait, what about Harumi? She's still out there." Dareth reminded them about their missing member that was still missing.
"We'll meet up with her in the middle." Lloyd said to them. "If I know Harumi, she always finds her way to us. Let's go." He said as the group rushed off while Lloyd looked up at the sky. "Where are you guys?" He muttered before following after the others.
Meanwhile back at the First Realm, it was sunrise as the Hunters were still at the camp while the Ninja and Faith were still tied up on the poles as they looked a bit exhausted from the heat and the amount of time they were on the poles.
Kai sighed before he saw a bird-like shadow flying by on the ground. "I hope that's your falcon, Zane." He muttered.
"My receptors picked up that it is an avian scavenger, a harbinger of our approaching demise." Zane explained tiredly as he looked up and saw two of them flying over them in circles.
"It's a Bonepicker." Faith explained to them. "And Zane is right."
"Why does Zane always have to be right?" Jay complained. "Can't it just be enough that we're tied to giant poles in the middle of the desert? And don't forget, Wu and Lydie are being held hostage, forced to steal Iron Baron the Dragon Armor so that he can become invincible!" He ranted on. "Can't that be enough?!"
"Jay, shut the hell up!" Morro yelled out in annoyance. "I don't need another headache from you." He said tiredly as a Bonepicker then flew towards his pole as it went to Cole.
"Shoo! Don't come to me! Shoo!" Cole complained as he shoo the Bonepicker away as it flew off before they heard chattering.
"Look, something is going on." Kai said as they noticed the Dragon Hunters arguing with one another.
"Probably arguing which one of us to eat first." Jay guessed.
"Dragon Hunters do not eat people." Faith said with a rolled of her eyes, while they might be cruel to hunt dragons, they aren't carnivores.
"Well, that's good to know, Faith. So it isn't all bad." Jay said with a sheepish look.
"This is our chance. While they're distracted." Kai said to them. "Let's see if we can get these, unh, poles rocking." He said as he moved around. "By rocking our bodies from side to side."
"Yeah, I'm not doing that." Cole said to him.
"That won't be helpful." Zane added.
"Yeah, that's not gonna work." Morro muttered.
"Guys, come on! Teamwork." Kai groaned as he kept going. "If we all do it together…" He kept moving as the others groaned and followed along, seeing no other options.
Faith gave a sigh from that. "I hope the Son and Granddaughter of the Spinjitzu Master figures something out." She said with a frown. "Because this is ridiculous." She added.
"Hey, it's better than nothing." Jay said with a shrug as he followed the others as Faith gave a sign from this kind of idea.
Meanwhile, Lydie, Wu and Iron Baron were making their way up a rocky hill with Wu and Lydie leading the way while Iron Baron followed behind while pointing the Dragon Sword at them. "Tell us something. Why did you lie to your Hunters about the Oni being real?" Wu questioned Iron Baron.
"Yeah. I've been wondering about that. You haven't seen an Oni until you saw me." Lydie added with a look.
"I told them what they wanted to hear." Iron Baron answered with a look. "That I would keep them safe. And in return, all I ask is to be treated like a king. Is that so wrong? Look around." He gestured to the wasteland. "This is a cruel world. We do what we must to survive."
"If it involves murdering innocent dragons and using others to do your bidding, then yes it is wrong." Lydie said with a look.
"Agreed. There's more to life than surviving." Wu added as he and Lydie continued on while Iron Baron gave a small laugh. "You already control this realm. Why do you need my father's armor?"
"There's always more to rule." Iron Baron stated. "That's the beauty of power." He said as he rubbed the Dragon Blade. "One can never have enough." He added as Wu and Lydie glared at him before they continued on. "Are you two sure the Dragon Armor will control Firstbourne?" He questioned cautiously as he followed them.
"Unlike you, Baron, I tell the truth." Wu told him.
"And we Ninja are honorable, we never lie." Lydie added.
"How very honorable of you two." Iron Baron said before he tripped on a rock, Lydie and Wu offered a hand, but Iron Baron drew his sword as they kept going before they went towards a narrow, a very narrow, bridge as they saw an abyss of clouds below them.
"The bridge is too brittle to hold us both." Wu said to them.
"Then you two better tread lightly." Iron Baron said with a smirk as he aimed his sword at them as they slowly walked on the bridge while keeping some distance to keep the bridge balance as the bridge shook a bit. "Careful." he said cautiously as the bridge shook as Wu jumped over, losing his hat as it fell over as Lydie followed along.
The two turn and saw Iron Baron following as he jump over a bit, but the bridge gave out as he was about to fall, but Lydie and Wu quickly caught him as he used the Sword to grab his hat, while seeing the two giving dull looks that he would save his hat as he gave a shrug as Lydie and Wu pull him back up.
"Keep moving." Iron Baron said as they continued and made it across before the bridge completely fell apart. "Heh. That was the perfect chance to get rid of me. But you two missed it."
"And now I'm starting to regret saving your sorry ass." Lydie muttered with a glare.
"And I give you our words, remember?" Wu said to him. "Once we get you the Armor, you send our Ninja home."
"There's nothing I would like more than for them to be gone." Iron Baron said with a smirk as they continued their journey.
"You're not in charge!" Jet-Jack called to the other Hunters, while two sides argued. "This is not your choice. Listen to me… you don't know anything! Every time I suggest…" She was cut off when Muzzle spoke up in nonsense. "Ah, come on!"
"Hey, he's just saying what we're all thinking!" No-Legs argued while supporting Muzzle.
"Yeah!" The other Hunters in their group chattered in agreement.
"Oh, yeah! And I suppose you think you should be in charge?" Jet-Jack questioned while the Hunters in her group chattered in agreement.
"Teamwork. Teamwork. Teamwork." The Ninja and Faith repeated as they rocked the polls back and forth.
"It's working guys. Just a little more." Kai said with a smile.
"I can't believe this is working!" Faith said with a smile, seeing Kai's idea working.
"Yeah. Surprise me too." Morro added with a smile.
"We do have a little faith." Jay said with a smile as they kept rocking.
"Teamwork. Teamwork. Teamwork." They chanted as they kept rocking.
Just then, Jet-Jack flew in front of Jay, startling him in the process. "What do you think you're doing?" She asked with a look.
"Uhh, nothing?" Jay answered nervously as Jet-Jack pulled out her weapon. "They are gonna eat us!" He cried out.
They all screamed in panic as Jet-Jack swung her weapon, but broke the chains as the Ninja and Faith screamed as they fell to the ground in surprise.
Cole groaned as he rubbed his chest. "You ever heard of stairs?" He questioned as the Ninja and Faith got up as they saw the Hunters in front of them.
"I don't know if I should thank you, Jet-Jack… or prepare to fight." Faith said to her.
"Or if you're going to eat us…" Kai added before pointing to Cole. "Eat him first. He's filled with cake."
"Am not!" Cole argued.
"Can we please hear out these hunters?" Morro questioned them tiredly. "But still, why did you cut us free?"
"We got to talking, and this Dragon Armor business has gone too far." Jet-Jack said firmly.
"Iron Baron speaks of serving his people, but he only serves himself." No-Legs added.
"Yeah. He's kind of a jerk." Chewtoy commented.
"We fear with Firstbourne by his side, he will become… unforgiving." Jet-Jack finished as the Hunters chattered in agreement.
"Wait, wait, you're telling me all this time, while they are getting closer to the nest, you guys are arguing whether or not to release us?" Jay questioned as the Hunters muttered in answer.
"He's shown his true colors, and they are colors no one likes." Jet-Jack said as she went up to Faith. "I can put aside our differences if you think you six can make a difference." She said with a smirk.
"We'll follow their tracks to the armor." Morro declared with a determined look. "Let's go and stop them before it's too late!" He declared with his fist raised as they all cheered.
At sundown, Faith and the Ninja followed Lydie, Wu, and Iron Baron's tracks, but they stopped when they saw the bridge was out. "It's too late." Faith said as they saw no way across.
"Me and my big mouth." Morro muttered while facepalming himself.
Meanwhile, Lydie, Wu and Iron Baron came across a roadblock as Iron Baron looked at the map. "This map is indecipherable. A mountain? What mountain?! They're everywhere!" He exclaimed in frustration at the numbers of Mountains around them.
"I know where the mountain is." Wu said as he began to make his way in one direction.
"And so do I, follow us." Lydie said as she followed her uncle.
They ran towards a mountain with Iron Baron following before they stop and saw the entrance with some rock pillars sparking red lighting with puddles of lava around. "The Nest of Firstbourne." Iron Baron said with a smirk as he toss the map away, no longer needing it. "And in it… both your freedoms. And my power." He added with a smirk. "Come now, our future awaits" He said as he pushed them forward as they carefully follow the path pass the lava puddles and enter the entrance to the nest.
Back in Ninjago City, the Colossus is still trashing buildings while Ultra Violet was at a payphone while holding the Mask of Hatred some streets away. "I'm missing all the action. Will you just come and get me?" Ultra Violet questioned a Son of Garmadon member on the phone. "I don't know, it must've thrown me with, maybe nine blocks. Yeah, it hurt." She said, while the Mask of Hatred protected her from fatal damage, it still stung from impact.
"The Battle Wagon is just up ahead." Nya's voice was heard as Ultra Violet perked up as she turned and saw the remainder of the resistance walking by as they stopped, turning and saw Ultra Violet at the phone, who stood in shock at seeing them here as they kept walking, pretending she wasn't there.
Ultra Violet dropped the phone before giving a snicker as she ran after them. "Golden Ninja!" She called out as the others turned.
"Of all the people we run into in this chaos, why did it have to be miss-crazy-pants?" Demir questioned tiredly.
"Go. Get to the Battle Wagon." Nya said with a serious look as she stepped forward.
"No, we stay together." Lloyd said to her.
"Not this time. Now go!" Nya called out as she took a stance as the others then held Skylor and continued off while Nya faced Ultra Violet.
"Get out of my way, water lily!" Ultra Violet yelled out as she gave a yell and threw her sai at Nya, only for Nya to flip over the sai and grabbed it and threw it back to Ultra Violet, which knocked the Mask out of her hands as the two engaged in hand to hand combat.
Lloyd stopped as he turn back to Nya. "Oh, no. Don't even think about it." Rose said to him.
"If you wanna help Nya, we need the Battle Wagon." Dareth added.
"We're more help to her with that thing when Ultra Violet puts on that mask." Demir added as Lloyd realized they were right as they continued on while Nya and Ultra Violet kept fighting.
Ultra Violet then flipped Nya over as she landed beside a fire hydrant. "Oh, ho, ho!" She called as she saw the mask as she rushed towards it. Nya saw this as she turn to the fire hydrant and used her powers to send a giant water burst that pushed her back before Nya rushed forward and kick Ultra Violet back as U.T. rolled on the ground and groaned with a glare at Nya.
Nya then did Spinjitzu and knock Ultra Violet further, which knock her on a lamppost, knocking it off it's foundation as Ultra Violet pick it up and gave a yell as she charge at Nya and whack the lamppost at her, which knock Nya out of her Spinjitzu as she was sent flying and landed on the pavement as Ultra Violet rushed towards her and tried to hit Nya with it, but she dodged each one before U.V. gave a swing and knock Nya to a car.
Nya hit the ground with a groan before the car tilted and fell on her as Ultra Violet gave a laugh and drop the lamppost as Nya struggled to get free as Ultra Violet pick up the Mask of Hatred and put it on as she powered up as she turned to Nya with a chuckle.
"I'm impressed." Ultra Violet said tauntingly. "It's a shame we couldn't be friends." She said as she pulled out her sai and was about to stab Nya.
But then, the Battle Wagon came in and knocked Ultra Violet into a wall as she gave a scream. Nya guessed that it had to be the others, but then she saw them rushing back from behind the Battle Wagon. "Nya!" Lloyd called as he rushed towards her while Rose and Dareth held Skylor.
"Guys!" Nya called out to them as Demir used his metal to get the car off Nya.
"Are you hurt?" Demir asked as he and Lloyd helped Nya up.
"My shoulder." Nya muttered while holding her right shoulder. "It's pretty bad." She added before she realizes something. "Wait, if you're all out here, then who's driving the Battle Wagon?" She asked.
"That is an excellent question." Rose said. "We saw it take off back the way we found it and well, this happened."
Just then the Battle Wagon's hatch opened up and to their surprise, Harumi jumped out of it. "Yes! Bullseye!" She cheered before laughing in excitement.
"Harumi?!" They all asked in surprise as Lloyd came to her.
"Harumi? Y-You okay?" Lloyd asked in surprise.
"Okay?! I'm better than okay!" Harumi said with an excited smile. "I actually did Spinjitzu. I did Spin-jitzu!" She cheered with excitement while shaking Lloyd's shoulders before giving another laugh.
"Y-Yeah. We saw that when we saw you escape the collapsed building." Lloyd said with a small smile.
"Wait, Harumi, how did you make it to the Battle Wagon?" Demir wondered. "And how did you know to come here to save Nya?"
"I had a feeling when Garmadon was using the Colossus to smash the city. I had a hunch we would need the Battle Wagon to even the odds." Harumi said to them. "So I rushed back to it and waited, but when I heard fighting from Nya close by, I figured she could use some help. So I rode the Battle Wagon and rammed Ultra Violet through that wall through her invincible ass!"
"You're enjoying this too much." Dareth said while the others looked at Harumi a bit weirded out.
"You damn right I am!" Harumi cheered before she realized how loud she was a bit before she took a deep breath and calmed down. "Sorry, just got excited."
"We can tell." Rose said with a small smile.
"Harumi, help us get Nya and Skylor into the Battle Wagon." Lloyd said as Harumi nodded as they guided the two women to the wagon, but then they heard groaning as they turned and saw Ultra Violet coming back up, but the Mask of Hatred broke in half from impact, making it useless.
Ultra Violet gave a scream and limped towards the Resistance. "Does she ever quit?" Nya questioned as Ultra Violet gave a weakened babble before she lost consciousness and fell to the ground.
"You really knocked her out, Harumi." Demir commented with a surprised tone. "Hard enough to break the mask and make her unconscious."
"She had it coming, and I regret nothing." Harumi said with a proud smile.
But then, they heard bikes revving as they turned and saw some bikers surrounding them. "Oh dear." Rose muttered as the Resistance stood back to back, seeing the jam they were in.
Meanwhile back in the First Realm, Lydie, Wu, and Iron Baron are walking into the cave as they were in total darkness as Iron Baron walked around while holding the sword cautiously. "Wait. I cannot see a cursed thing in here. It's too dark," Iron Baron said to them before he turn and tripped over, which made Young Adult Wu and Lydie to stop and turn to him.
"Dark? What do you mean, it's as bright as day." Lydie said as she looked around.
"Are you blind more than it is here?" Iron Baron questioned as he held up a torch. "Where is this dragon nest?" He questioned as he lit up the torch, which they looked around as Wu looked down.
"I believe we're in it." Wu answered, which made Lydie and Iron Baron look down and saw numbers of dragons, of multiple elements, sleeping below while the three were on a stone bridge.
"That is a lot of dragons." Lydie muttered.
"They're all asleep." Iron Baron whispered to the two. "Your Oni Bloods must not disturb them… your dragon bloods keeps them docile."
"I guess when I'm not using my powers, they won't react." Lydie whispered with an uneasy look.
Iron Baron then looked ahead. "Look." He said as they turned and saw the Dragon Armor revealing itself as it glowed. "It's revealing itself to you two. It wants to be found." He said before he urged the two forward as they walked up to the armor.
"Keep your guard up," Lydie whispered to the two as they quietly moved through the dragon, "If the Armor is here, big Mama Dragon is probably close by."
Iron Baron then kicked a bone, which made him cringe as the three stopped as an ice dragon opened its eyes at them, but then it went back to sleep unbothered as Lydie and Wu glared at Iron Baron, who was giving a sheepish look as they continued forward.
They kept walking before Iron Baron pushed them aside. "Back away. It's mine." He said as he walked up to the armor and tossing the torch away as Lydie and Wu just glared at him as he held a piece of it, but then rumbling sounds shook the area as standing up around them was none other then Firstbourne, which shock them as she then stood tall and mighty while glaring at Iron Baron before she gave a roar as the other dragons began to wake up.
"Ah. Yes! Uuh. Yeah, haha!" Iron Baron chuckled as he quickly put on the Dragon Armor. "I have it! I wear the Dragon Armor!" He cheered as the dragons came close to Wu and Lydie as the two turned to Iron Baron facing Firstbourne. "I command you, beast, destroy them!" He ordered while gesturing to Wu and Lydie but Firstbourne just roared.
Lydie just rolled her eyes at the notion, "Oh my god, we've been backstabbed. Who could've seen that coming?" She said sarcastically.
"I did." Wu said naturally, which made Lydie turn to him with a brow.
"Are you sure you got your memories back, unc?" Lydie asked with a weird look.
"Yes, and I've learned a lot of things since I came to this realm." Wu said to Lydie.
"What are you two babbling about?" Iron Baron questioned as he turned to them.
"My niece and my Ninja taught me responsibility, confidence, a sense of humor, and to listen to the voice within." Wu said to them as Lydie nodded as Iron Baron kept listening. "But I also learned something from you, Baron." He said to him, which surprised Lydie.
Iron Baron then turns to Firstbourne with a growl. "Stand down! Kneel before me!" He ordered as Firstbourne growled.
"You taught me the power of lies." Wu said with a glare, which surprised Lydie and Iron Baron. "You didn't really think the Dragon Armor is what made Firstbourne obey my father, did you?" He questioned as Iron Baron looked at the armor he was wearing as Lydie realized what Wu meant. "It was because of his heart. She sensed goodness in him."
"So the question is, Baron, what does Firstbourne sense in you? A man who's lied, cheated, killed and exploited every living thing around him to get where he is?" Lydie questioned with a look.
Iron Baron then began to panic as he turned to Firstbourne, who kept growling as he then quickly took off the armor and tossed it at her, hitting her muzzle as he then tossed a boulder at her and was about to toss his hat, but stop as he then put it back on as he held the Dragon Blade. "P-Please, please, I, I didn't mean what I said!" Iron Baron said fearfully as Wu and Lydie looked unimpressed at how the mighty and deceitful leader of the Dragon Hunters had become a pathetic coward, "I beg you, have mercy!" He pleaded to Firstbourne.
But Firstbourne wasn't having any of it. "For you, there is no mercy." She said in a rageful roar as Iron Baron looked in horror before she then released a lava burst, which hit Iron Baron as he screamed in agony as he was then muffled out as Wu and Lydie looked with serious expressions until Firstbourne stopped.
Iron Baron was now completely covered head to toe in molten lava, with only his prosthetic claw, burned and skeletal hand, and hat sticking out as he could be heard mumbling a bit before going quiet.
"Not a nice way to go out." Lydie said with a cringe.
"May your actions haunt you forever," Firstbourne said telepathically as her eyes glowed before she turned her attention to Wu and Lydie, leaning her head down. She looked at the girl specifically, "You are Oni." She noted as Lydie took a step back in worry and in awe as it dawned on her what she heard.
"Y-You, you c-can talk." Lydie said quietly, feeling very small in the face of the Mother of All Dragons.
"Yes, Oni are the Dragon's greatest threat, our sworn enemies, they are darkness, they are malice, they are destruction." Firstbourne said as Lydie was worried about what the Mother of All Dragons was going to do to her. "But, I don't sense these virtues within you. Deep within your heart I see a warrior, a protector, a leader, a sister, who stands on the principles of loyalty, courage, strength, love and honor. An Oni in body but a Dragon in Soul, a perfect balance of both, just like your grandfather." She said as her eyes showed respect and pride.
Lydie and Wu looked in surprise as the other dragons circled them as they bowed in respect as Lydie and Wu then petted Firstbourne's muzzle. "T-Thanks. I-I thought after the other dragons tried to do to me, y-you would-" Lydie stammered while trying to find the right words.
"I am not like my children. For I sense my old compatrate in the both of you." Firstbourne said to them. "And I apologize for their behavior towards you. As you know, the Oni were our mortal enemies."
"So I've heard." Lydie muttered about her past encounter with the dragons being aggressive to her. "B-But wait, how are you… you know, talking to us?"
"There's much to dragons you have yet to learn." Firstbourne said to her as the dragons all purred or growled at the two.
"It's okay. It's okay now." Wu said to them as Firstbourne then nudged him and presented the Dragon Armor to him. "My father's armor…" He muttered as he walked up to it and picked up the sword and the shield.
"You know, uncle, that really suits you better than this armor." Lydie said while gesturing to her Oni Armor.
"I don't doubt it." Wu said with a smile as Firstbourne then gave another bow to them, which the other dragons followed as Lydie and Wu smiled at them as they had gained their loyalty and respect like how the First Spinjitzu Master had once.
Back with the Ninja and the Hunters, the Hunters saw the Ninja and Faith walking back down crested as Faith shook her head, confirming their answer as the ground shook as they turned back to the mountain and saw Firstbourne flying out with a roar.
"Firstbourne again!" No-Legs shouted.
"Run for your lives!" Chewtoy shouted as he and the other Hunters ran off in fear while Faith and the Ninja got a closer look.
"No wait!" Cole exclaimed, stopping Jay from attacking.
"Look!" Kai said, pointing at Firstboune, where they saw Wu, wearing the Dragon Armor, and Lydie riding Firstbourne.
"Woo-hoo! Yeah! Alright! Way to go!" Jay cheered with a laugh as the others all cheered to them as Faith smiled proudly at the two.
"They're riding without chains? How is that possible?" Jet-Jack asked as she and the other Hunters saw this.
"The Dragon Masters don't need them." Faith said with a smile as Firstbourne flew down as they all cheered and followed after them as Firstbourne landed in front of them as Wu and Lydie jump off Firstbourne as the Ninja rushed up towards them.
"You did! You both actually did it!" Jay cheered as they crowded the two in a group hug.
"I always knew you both had it in you!" Kai cheered.
"Was there ever any doubt?" Lydie asked with a smirk.
"We never doubted you two." Morro said with a smile.
"What about Iron Baron?" Faith asked as she and the other Hunters walked towards them as the Ninja broke the hug, having noticed that Iron Baron wasn't with them.
"Iron Baron's days are over." Wu told them. "He showed his true colors, Firstbourne was not impressed." He explained.
"Firstbourne saw the greed and power hunger within him." Lydie spoke up next. "And because of that, he is now just a melted lava corpse."
Firstbourne gave a roar in confirmation, surprising the Hunters. "He's gone?" Jet-Jack asked in surprise as the Hunters all cheered in joy that their abusive leader was no more, which surprised them before the Ninja turned to Lydie and Wu with smiles.
"You two did well, Captain and Master." Zane said with a smile.
"Or should we say…" Kai started as they stood in front of them. "Dragon Captain and Dragon Master." He finished as they all bowed.
"No, my friends. We bow to you." Lydie said as she and Wu bow to them.
"It was your lessons that guided me." Wu said to them.
"And it was because you never gave up on me, even when I was in my Oni phase, who help me become better." Lydie said to them as the Ninja all smiled at each other from that.
"Hey, I don't mean to rain on the parade, but our job isn't done." Cole said to them.
"He's right. We've got friends waiting for us." Jay added.
"And a score to settle with Garmadon and Hutchins." Morro added, pounding his fists together.
"Do you think Firstbourne could take us all home?" Zane asked Lydie and Wu.
"Yeah, because our dragons flew off when the Hunters caught us. Remember?" Kai reminded them.
"That's up to them." Wu said as they turned to Firstbourne.
"Firstbourne, if you please?" Lydie asked with a smile.
"It would be my pleasure to send you all back to your home realm." Firstbourne said with a bow, surprising everyone minus Wu and Lydie.
"Wait, did she just-" Jay tried to ask before Firstbourne then gave a mighty roar, which made them cover their ears before they looked up and saw their Dragons, even the Wind Dragons, flying towards them in formation.
"Looks like we've found our answer." Cole muttered in amazement as their dragons landed in front of them, which made them smile as they went up to their respective dragons.
"Wisp! Good to see you again!" Jay exclaimed as he got on his old Lightning Dragon, who purred in response.
Faith looked between the Ninja and the Hunters in deep thought, which Wu noticed as he walked up to her. "Faith, we promised to bring you with us. You can ride with Lydie and me." Wu said to her.
"You kept your word, and that means the world to me." Faith said before she turned to her fellow Dragon Hunters. "But I am needed here."
"I thought you hated this place." Kai said as he and the others were surprised by Faith's words.
"I did." Faith confirmed. "But you taught me that with courage, things can change. And I would rather stay and fight for change in my home, than run." She declared as Wu gave a proud smile. "But I cannot do it alone." She said as she turned to Jet-Jack, who nodded with a smile as she turned back to the other Hunters, who gave encouraging looks.
Lydie then stepped forward. "Faith, if you ever need help, you know that you have friends in Ninjago." She said with a smile as she offered a hand.
"And you have friends here in the First Realm." Faith said as she took Lydie's hand and shook it. "And again, sorry for what happened back at the camp."
"It's fine. And sorry for the slaughter back there. My Oni side was a bit, well, uncontrollable." Lydie said with a sheepish look.
"All Oni's are uncontrollable." Faith told her before giving her a concerned look. "But, if someday you encounter an Oni, be careful, who knows where they have disappeared too."
"Don't worry. We'll be ready for anything." Lydie assured with a smile, which Faith returned as she turned to the others. "Alright, let's ride guys! Umbra, follow along, okay." She said to her dragon as Umbra nodded with a growl as the Ninja got onto their respective dragons while Lydie rode with Wu on Firstbourne while Morro got on the Wind Dragon.
Firstbourne gave a roar that got the dragons ready as they followed along. "Master Wu, Captain, get us home." Morro said as Lydie and Wu smiled and nodded as they took off with the dragons following with roars as they flew off with the Hunters watching them go as they got into V-Formation.
"Yeee-haw! Haha!" Kai cheered with his arm up.
"Man! I missed this!" Cole cheered, having missed the thrill of flying with dragons this high.
"Everyone…" Lydie started as the Ninja looked on.
"Hold on!" Wu finished as they all held onto the dragons as they began to spin in formation, making the Ninja cheered as the Hunters watched as a portal opened up and saw the Ninja and their dragons went through it as it closed.
"Where did they go?" No-Legs asked.
"Ninjago." Faith answered with a smile.
In the portal stream, the Ninja are still riding their dragons as they venture further through the portal as they see a bright light ahead as they are reaching their destination.
They are finally returning to Ninjago and stopping Garmadon once and for all.
