First: Thanks for asking.

Second: Glad you asked. Basically, I took inspirations from rather... weird sources. From the start, I wanted to make something more adult yet imature... so I got Fionna's inspiration from Derpixon, yes, Derpixon while A'n'A came from The Coffin of Andy and Leyley, y'know, just that game of the cannibal siblings...

Answering my own question: No, they're not like their sources. The siblings aren't weirdos and Derpixon events didn't happen here... (I mean, it was going to happen, but Steven appeared before that)

Now just to keep in mind:

Black Diamond's gonna have her very own backstory.

There are going to have other alien species besides the gems.

Human goverment will have relevance (something that I hate about original SU: a whole new-ass species come from space and no goverment, agency, militars or anything did shit. I know, child's cartoon, but still!)

This thing will have something around 8 full seasons. The first two were about G.U.N and The Cluster, and I guess you can already say the third will be about the Crystal Gems. I won't tell here what the other seasons are about, but if someone asks me in private, I'll answer.

Curiosities:

Steven is Pansexual

Steven can shapeshift into anything that is humanoid and plausible (furries included (and approved by Fionna)), so he can't transform into a full-ass, 50-feet-tall dragon... (yet)

Steven was planned to Stop Time, but it won't happen (bro's already gonna be too overpower)

I planned to make Steven someone more serious, like Shadow the Hedgehog which was one of my inspirations to make Black Diamond Steven, but then I remembered that the main inspiration/character I'm trying to warp was White Diamond Steven, someone who's nice, gentle and calm, but not very playful. So I just had to warp all of that and BAM, there is a whole new Steven.

Black Diamond Steven was made like that in the start, a guy who didn't really care for rules and was going to rob a bank, because White Diamond Steven was someone who followed the rules completely (bro thought he was gonna be arrested for throwing thrash on ground (obs: it wasn't him))

Connie will appear... she just won't be as relevant as in the original or other AUs.

I plan to make an AU of this AU, where Steven never found Fionna and kept a dark, alone path.

Fionna's an otaku

Steven watched some anime for Fionna and liked it.

Steven can get pregnant (yes, I made that canon, sue me)

If Fionna was drunk, Steven would carry her to their bed to them sleep together.

If Steven was drunk, Fionna would take him somewhere cozy to pamper him
