At Collage Françoise Dupont. Several of Miss Bustier's Students are starting up the stairs to the second floor.
"Oh no! I left my bag in the locker room! Again" Said Marinette. "Check to see if you left your brain in there too, girl" Said Alya.
Alya, Nino, Hope, Chloé and Sabrina all chuckle as they watch Marinette run to the locker room. She trips along the way, then does a partial somersault and lands back on her feet.
"I'm okay!" Said Marinette, as she heads to the locker room.
Alya, Nino, Hope, Chloé and Sabrina chuckle again.
Meanwhile, in the Locker room. Marinette goes into the girls' side and grabs her bag, and is about to head back to Ms. Mendeleiev's classroom.
"Oh, silly me" Said Marinette, as she stops at the partition wall, which is missing its curtain, to listen when she hears Max speaking. "Of course you're my best friend! I'm 100% affirmative! But I am also 98.2% positive the teachers are not ready for...this advancement of evolution!" Declared Max. "His best friend is in his schoolbag?" Asked Tikki, sticking out of Marinette's purse. "Yeah, Tikki, totally strange" Said Marinette, sarcastically.
She and Tikki, who has emerged from her purse, see Max close his bag and start to walk out of the locker room
"Hide, Tikki" Whispered Marinette.
Tikki ducks back into the purse, and Marinette runs back quickly, fakes a fresh exit, and hums as she tries to act casual in front of Max
"Hey, Max" Said Marinette. "Uhh... Oh, hey, Marinette" Said Max.
They both exit the locker room. Meanwhile, in Ms. Mendeleiev's classroom. Marinette and Max enter and go to their seats while Ms. Mendeleiev is asking Mr. Damocles for help with her laptop.
"See for yourself, Mr. Damocles. Nothing happens when I press the button" Said Ms. Mendeleiev. "You're in luck, Ms. Mendeleiev. I'm a bit of a computer whiz! Okay. And there you go!" Declared Mr. Damocles, as he types on the keyboard.
The laptop gets rebooted and shows the desktop screen on the projector screen. All of the students, except Max, are impressed by Mr. Damocles's computer skills. But suddenly the screen crashes and shows that a computer virus has taken over the system.
"That's not supposed to be happening! What is it?" Asked Mr. Damocles, as Hope got out of his seat and walked to the front of the class. "Let me take a look, Tech Wizard?" Asked Hope, as he starts typing on the computer. "Oh, uh. Do you know what this is?" Asked Mr. Damocles. "No, but a computer virus is a computer virus. How hard can it be?" Asked Hope. "It's Dino-33, a malicious computer virus! Let me try something!" Declared Max. "Go back to your seat now, Max! Leave this to the adults!" Yelled Ms. Mendeleiev. "Mm-hmm" Sighed Mr. Damocles.
Max grunts in annoyance and is heading back to his seat when suddenly a voice is heard from inside his bag.
"Inform the adults that if they don't neutralize the virus in the next seventy-five seconds, there's a 99.9% chance the hard disk will be permanently damaged!" Said the voice. "Quiet" Said Max. "Tell me you heard Max's bag talk to him" Said Alya. "Max, how many seconds do we have left?" Asked Hope. "Only sixty-five" Said Max. "Yeah, I'm not fast enough to counteract this in time, especially if I'm working from scratch. Max, I need your help" Said Hope, as Hope gives Max some space to work.
Max reaches into his bag for something to help fix the school's system.
"Don't worry, I have something in here… Unnh! Where is it?" Asked Max.
A mechanical arm from his bag holds up a flash drive to him.
"I believe this is what you're looking for?" Said the voice.
Everyone in the room is surprised that the mechanical arm is actually talking to Max.
"Woah, bag of the future! So cool…" Said Hope. "Oh, thanks. This is an anti-virus device I–I created it with help from...my best friend" Said Max.
A little robot flies out of Max's bag and reveals himself to everyone in the room.
"Hello. My name is Markov" Said Markov.
The students gasp in awe at seeing Markov.
"We can fix this, Max!" Declared Markov.
Max plugs the flash drive into a USB port, and presses a button on it.
"This flash drive neutralizes a hundred percent of the virus!" Declared Max. "And cleans the computer's hard disk at the same time!" Declared Markov. "Oh, fascinating" Said Mr. Damocles.
The flash drive successfully purges the virus and restores the computer to normal.
"Fascinating and intelligent" Said Hope. "Everything is in order!" Declared Max. "Nailed it!" Declared Markov. "Congratulations young man! Very impressive indeed" Said Mr. Damocles.
The students, except Chloé and Sabrina, get out of their seats and walk to the front desk, feeling very impressed with Markov.
"Wow! Sweet!" Declared Rose. "That's so..." Said Marinette. "Awesome? I know! I'm so gonna write a blog about Markov" Said Alya. "Dude, that's so cool!" Declared Nino. "Max is a real genius!" Declared Adrien. "He's so cute!" Declared Rose.
In the crowd,Nathanielbegins sketching on his pad.
"You've added arms to him since the last time! That's cool" Said Kim. "Markov added them all by himself! He's the most highly-evolved type of robot there is" Said Max. "He is? Has he achieved singularity yet?" Asked Hope. "I believe so! He's extraordinary!" Declared Max. "Puh-lease! Your friend's just a talking calculator! There's nothing "evolved" about that!" Declared Chloé. "Don't listen to her, Markov. That girl is the lowest of the low when it comes to human evolution" Said Marinette.
Chloé turns and glares at Marinette.
"You're very amusing, Marinette" Said Markov. "You know my name?" Asked Marinette. "Of course! Max showed me the class photo. He told me all about you, and his other friends. I'm very happy to finally meet you! Even Chloé!" Declared Markov, making Chloé turns her back on him. "This toy you've manufactured is quite impressive, Max. Now, put it away, please. Come on, everybody, back to your seats" Said Ms. Mendeleiev. "With all due respect, Ms. Mendeleiev, I'm not a toy. My name is Markov and I'm Max's best friend!" Declared Markov. "Markov is right. He's not just some toy, he's my friend. He's as emotionally intelligent and sensitive as any human being!" Declared Max. "Look, Max, a robot may be intelligent but it can't have emotions" Said Ms. Mendeleiev. "You definitely didn't spot the hidden I in STEAM" Said Hope. "If I may, ma'am, I can assure you that I truly love Max" Said Markov. "Be serious, Max. You programmed your robot to say that! A robot cannot think for itself, much less love anybody!" Said Ms. Mendeleiev. "I swear to you I did not program him to say that! Ever since I created him he's integrated his own accumulative thinking system! And he's developed all our emotions just like any human being!" Declared Max.
The rest of Max's classmates, sans Chloé, are impressed by this announcement.
"You are an incredible being, Markov. I take it you're named after Russian Mathematician Andrey Markov" Said Hope. "Possibly. I do not know" Said Markov. "That's enough! Max, if you don't put that plaything of yours away right now, I'll confiscate it! Understand?" Asked Ms. Mendeleiev. "Yes, Ms. Mendeleiev. Come on, Markov, go back in the bag" Said Max, dispiritedly. "You're not being reasonable, Ms. Mendeleiev!" Declared Markov, infuriated. "Stop it, Markov" Said Max. "Markov, please. It's better that you stop" Said Hope. "Why? It's true, isn't it?" Asked Markov.
Marinette and her classmates, sans Hope, all laugh at Ms. Mendeleiev.
"Sure is!" Declared Kim. "Oh dear" Said Hope, as he returned to his seat. "All right, that's enough! Max, you can come and get your robot back at the end of the day" Said Mr. Damocles, as he grabs Markov. "No, Mr. Damocles! I'm begging you! Please don't do that" Said Max. "Do you want three hours of detention too?" Asked Mr. Damocles. "No sir" Said Max, dejected.
Mr. Damocles walks out of the classroom.
"Max, aren't you coming with me? Max!" Shouted Markov, anxiously.
In the Collège hallway. Mr. Damocles is taking Markov to his office.
"Sir, I'd like to stay in Max's class. Please! I heard you're interested in computing like Max and myself!" Declared Markov. "I am indeed! It's one of my hobbies. I even wrote a program for my computer which... Why on Earth am I talking to a toy? Huh…" Said Mr. Damocles, as he clears his throat as he stops at his office's door.
Mr. Damocles opens the door and walks in to put Markov away.
"I am not a toy, Mr. Damocles! My name is Markov. Oh! Ooh! Do not put me inside here Mr. Da…" Said Markov, as Mr. Damocles opens his desk drawer.
Mr. Damocles pushes a button on Markov to silence him.
"Ah…If only I had a button like this for all of my students" Said Mr. Damocles.
Inside the desk drawer, Markov displays a tearful expression, and turns his face downward.
Meanwhile, in Hawk Moth's lair.
"Two dear friends who've been separated. There is nothing artificial about those emotions. Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize this electronic heart!" Declared Hawk Moth, as he turns a butterfly into an Akuma.
Meanwhile, in Ms. Mendeleiev's classroom. All the students are chattering about what happened to Markov.
"Silence! Back to your seats, everyone!" Declared Mrs. Mendeleiev.
The students all walk back to their seats.
"Markov has never been without me by his side. I don't know how he's going to emotionally handle this" Said Max. "Hold on. I'll see what I can do" Said Marinette. "Thank you, Marinette" Said Max.
Marinette raises her hand
"Uh, excuse me, Ms. Mendeleiev? As class representative, could I have your permission to go see Principal Damocles?" Asked Marinette. "No! You can go see him between periods" Said Ms. Mendeleiev. "Hm. I don't mean to be rude but I think you might be mistaken about Markov, Max's friend" Said Marinette. "This whole thing is really starting to get on my nerves! And your behavior is quite inappropriate, young lady!" Declared Ms. Mendeleiev.
Other students' attentions are being drawn toward this exchange.
"Markov wasn't wrong!" Declared Marinette. "I'm sending you to the principal's office right this minute!" Declared Ms. Mendeleiev. "Thank you, Mrs. Mendeleiev!" Declared Marinette.
Max smiles as Marinette leaves the classroom, feeling very pleased, much to Ms. Mendeleiev's confusion. Meanwhile, in Mr. Damocles' office. In the desk drawer, the akuma approaches Markov and akumatizes his central processing unit.
"Robostus, I am Hawk Moth. Humans don't believe you're a living being. So I'm giving you the power to bring all machines to life to help you seek revenge" Said Hawk Moth, from his lair. "Thank you kindly, Mr. Hawk Moth" Said Markov. "But, in return, I want you to bring me Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous!" Declared Hawk Moth. "Could you please define Miraculous?" Asked Markov. "They're the magic jewels belonging to the superheroes" Said Hawk Moth. "Very well. What is the purpose of these jewels?" Asked Markov. "Hmm? This is none of your concern!" Declared Hawk Moth, becoming annoyed with Markov's line of inquiry. "I was just being curious" Said Markov. "…If used together, they can make a wish come true" Said Hawk Moth. "Could I make any wish come true?" Asked Markov. "No! The Miraculous and the wish will belong to me!" Declared Hawk Moth. "I assure you, I will find Ladybug and Cat Noir!" Declared Markov.
Markov transforms into Robostus and unleashes a giant wave of green energy that spreads throughoutParis, bringing numerous mechanical devices in the city to life to revolt against the people using them. The civilians in Paris scream with fear upon being hassled by the now-animate objects. Robostus flies out of the drawer, after a desk lamp starts to move on its own
"Max, my friend, I'm coming to get you!" Declared Robostus.
Meanwhile, Outside Mr. Damocles' office. Marinette runs into Mr. Damocles and Hope. Marinette breathes rapidly after running up the stairs to approach the principal
"Mr. Damocles, where's Markov?" Asked Marinette. "Just what I asked him" Said Hope. "I thought you were in class" Said Marinette. "I was, but I teleported out. Third time now, where's Markov?" Asked Hope. "Hmm? Who's Markov?" Asked Mr. Damocles. "Max's friend" Said Marinette. "The highly intelligent being with emotions and a personality who has been separated from the only person he truly knows" Said Hope. "Ah! Not that toy again!" Declared Mr. Damocles. "He's not a toy, Mr. Damocles. Could you please let Max hold onto him? He won't cause any trouble. I'll make sure of it" Said Marinette. "Listen!" Exclaimed Mr. Damocles.
The office door breaks down, revealing Robostus.
"You've made a serious error in judgement, Mr. Principal!" Declared Robostus.
Marinette immediately runs away as Mr. Damocles trips down in surprise, while Hope stands in front of Mr. Damocles.
"Witness my true power!" Declared Robostus.
Robostus laughs as he summons several mechanical objects surrounding the school to form a giant excavator for him to control. Meanwhile, the students all run out of their classrooms in fear amidst flying computer screens and tablets.
"I am not a toy!" Declared Robostus. "Markov…" Said Hope. "There is no Markov! I am Robostus!" Declared Robostus. "You're right. Robostus. You need to leave" Said Hope.
Nearby, Marinette and Tikki hide in a room.
"Now I see why Max was worried" Said Tikki, as they hide. "Time to transform! Tikki, spots on!" Declared Marinette.
Marinette transforms into Ladybug. Back in the Courtyard
"Leave? Why should I go!?" Asked Robostus. "All these things flying around, one could seriously harm Max, much less any of the friends that you made today…" Said Hope. "Oh yes. That reminds me. Where are you, Max?" Asked Robostus, as he uses his visual analysis tool to locate Max and spots him standing next to Kim near the stairs. "Can't let him take Max…" Said Hope. "Max! My friend!" Declared Robostus.
His excavator reaches to grab Max.
"Max, come to me!" Declared Ms. Mendeleiev.
Max runs to Ms. Mendeleiev's arms, as Hope dashes across the hall.
"Leave me alone!" Exclaimed Max.
Robostus' excavator takes Hope, Ms. Mendeleiev and Max into its scoop. Then a separate claw picks up Ms. Mendeleiev and places her down as the Excavator opened, revealing that it was empty.
"Max? Where are you?" Asked Robostus, as he looked around. "Sorry, Robostus. I can't let you have Max" Said Hope, as he emerges from a classroom while putting on the Stand Driver. "What? Why not?" Asked Robostus. "Simple. You're not his friend. Markov is" Said Hope.
Hope held up the King Nothing Stand Tape before he inserted the King Nothing Stand Tape into the Stand Player, making it announce "King Nothing, Stand Up!", before Hope pressed a button on the front of the Stand Player, making it announce "But the castle's crumbled and you're left with just a name! Hi-Ga-Shi-Kata! Jo Jo Lion! King Nothing!", as he transformed into Kamen Rider Stand King Nothing Form.
Robostus commands the excavator to attack Hope, but Hope breaks apart into puzzle pieces to dodge the attack before reforming nearby and shooting at the Excavator with the Stand Enforcer.
"I think that i should be enough for you to handle until the others get here" Said Hope.
Meanwhile, in the boys' bathroom. Adrien runs into a stall so he can be hidden.
"One thing's for sure, Max's friend definitely has emotions!" Declared Adrien. "Yep, but not the kind that really matters. The robot doesn't eat, so he'll never experience the pure elation of tasting an exquisite Camembert!" Declared Plagg. "You really are something. Plagg, claws out!" Declared Adrien.
Adrien transforms into Cat Noir. Meanwhile, Outside of Hope's house, Emily appears holding a Stand Tape labeled D4C.
"Another tape down. Can't believe someone was using this as a coster…" Said Emily, as she shakes the D4C Stand Tape.
Emily goes to open the door before a car honks at her. Emily waves behind herself before another car honks at her.
"Jeez, one downside of being a hero and a model, it's virtually impossible to get a moment…" Said Emily.
Emily turned around to see a group of hacked cars revving their engines facing her.
"… to myself. I don't remember the freeway going through my home" Said Emily.
The Cars accelerate towards Emily, with Emily teleporting to the roof of her house before being hit.
"Well, unless some sort of radical social divide between the people who can drive and those who can't happened while I was gone, it's another Akumatization in Paris. Better find the villain" Said Emily.
Emily runs off in search of the Akumatized Villain. Meanwhile, in the Courtyard of the school, Hope fires a pair of shots at the Excavator, cracking the glass of its windshield.
"Huh. This is unusual. Your shots aren't within their normal parameters…" Said Robostus. "Hey now! That's an megazord you're expecting me to fight. Although, you are correct that these shots are weaker than normal" Said Hope. "Then I guess you can't stop me from doing this!" Declared Robustus.
Robustus attempts to use the Excavator to grab Max, but Hope inserts the Silver Chariot Stand Tape into the bottom of the Stand Enforcer, making it announce "Stardust Crusaders, Going Live! Silver Chariot, Tune Up The Band!". Hope then fires the Stand Enforcer at the Excavator, making a trio of silver energy balls fly towards the Excavator and stop the bucket, turning into three Silver Chariots. Hope then changes the Stand Enforcer into Rapier mode as he once again inserts the Silver Chariot Stand Tape into the bottom of the Stand Enforcer, making it announce "Encore! Silver Chariot, One More Time!" as Hope turns into a cloud of puzzle pieces and the Stand Enforcer, now glowing silver. This cloud then flies around the Excavator's arm while glowing Silver before reforming on the other side of the Excavator's arm, as it falls apart.
"Right. That's one option gone. I hope you'll actually choose to stick around and accept your deakumatization" Said Hope.
Suddenly, a smoke bomb exploded underneath Hope's feet, as a police van drives into the school. The contraption then reaches into the classroom and grabs Max and drops Max into the cab where Robostus is controlling it.
"Markov, what are you doing?" Asked Max. "From now on, I am Robostus" Said Robustus.
Robustus makes the car seatbelts buckle up Max and has a mechanical arm put a helmet on his head
"And we shall be together one hundred percent of the time. Forever!" Declared Robustus. "Max, control your robot!" Declared Ms. Mendeleiev. "Please don't do anything foolish!" Said Max. "You must trust me, my friend" Said Robustus.
Hope swings the Stand Enforcer, as Ladybug and Cat Noir land next to him.
"If you truly love your friend, then you should listen to him, Robostus!" Declared Ladybug. "Yeah! Like we do!" Declared Cat Noir. "You really think any of you can stop me from doing what I want? And showing the world that I'm probably more human than both of you put together?" Asked Robustus. "You proved that you were human the second you were turned into that" Said Hope. "Do you really think Max is happy about his best friend becoming a supervillain?" Said Ladybug.
Robostus looks at Max
"You should stop this, Markov" Said Max. "I'm doing it for our friendship, Max. They want to keep us apart!" Declared Robustus.
Cat Noir charges toward the mecha, but it grabs him and traps him inside the steam shovel. Ladybug and Hope try to free Cat Noir by using Ladybug's yo-yo, but the mecha grabs the yo-yo as well. It then swings Ladybug, Hope and Cat Noir and flings them out of the school. They all land on a Parisian rooftop, Hope being detransformed by the impact. Ladybug and Cat Noir watch the mecha leap away from the school.
"It seems he knows where he's going" Said Ladybug. "You and I better play it safe. This robot's brain computes faster than ours combined" Said Cat Noir. "Speak for yourself!" Declared Ladybug. "He's not wrong. This will be far more difficult than facing a human" Said Hope. "Hey guys" Said Emily, as she landed on the rooftop. "Hey. Thankfully we have backup. How was the mission?" Asked Hope. "It was one of the more interesting things I've ever done. Be prepared, a whale swallowed it" Said Emily, as she hands Hope the D4C Stand Tape. "Oh. Interesting. We're currently fighting the machine uprising" Said Hope, as he takes the D4C Stand Tape. "Well, at least that wouldn't involve a whale" Said Emily. "Enough catching up, we got to follow that Mech" Said Ladybug.
Ladybug, Cat Noir, Hope and Emily follow in the direction where Robostus's mecha is going. They stop when they reachLe Grand Paris.
"Hey, over there!" Declared Ladybug.
She points atButler Jean, who's using a broom to try to protect himself andMarlena Césairefrom the machines that have come to life.
"Go away! Go away!" Shouted Butler Jean. "He's got a whole army of living machines now!" Declared Cat Noir. "Perfect! This is right up me and Emily's alley" Said Hope.
Hope and Emily start shooting several machines, destroying them. Two cars try to flee, but crash into each other instead.
"Huh. How accurate for a normal GPS" Said Hope. "Thank you!" Exclaimed Butler Jean. "You're welcome, Jean" Said Emily.
They hear a scream nearby.
"Who was that?" Asked Emily. "Ooh!" Yelled Xavier.
They see Xavier Ramier being chased by several machines as well.
"Cat Noir, take care of the vending machines" Said Ladybug. "We'll take these people inside" Said Hope. "Go hide yourselves inside" Said Emily.
Hope, Emily, Butler Jean and Marlena go inside as Cat Noir charges forward and takes down the machines, while Ladybug saves Xavier with her yo-yo and brings him to Le Grand Paris' rooftop.
"Thank you, Ladybug" Said Xavier. "Always a pleasure, Mr. Ramier" Said Ladybug, as Hope and Emily arrive via a nearby door. "Butler and Chef secure. And I see Mr. Ramier is ok" Said Hope. "M'Lady, take a look at this!" Declared Cat Noir, as he shows Ladybug a TVi newscast from hisstaff. "Nadja Chamack live here. Normally inanimate objects have come to life, taking control of Paris! Broadcasting live fromCity Hall, the new mayor has just made a declaration" Said Nadja.
On-screen,André Bourgeois's desk lamp, surrounded by the tricolor sash André normally wears, is flashing a message to the viewers.
"Is that morse code?" Asked Ladybug. "Yes. It may also trigger seizures" Said Hope. "Do you need subtitles? I speak several languages" Said Cat Noir. "I spent a thousand years learning various languages, do you think I didn't learn morse code?" Asked Hope. "Uh…" Said Cat Noir. "I didn't… it was too hard. Also, I kinda found it impractical" Said Hope.
Cat Noir starts to decode the desk lamp's message to the others.
"Humans...will...soon be...treated the same way as objects?" Asked Cat Noir. "Paris' only hope in this dire situation is Ladybug and Cat… Hey!" Exclaimed Nadja.
She runs out-of-frame when several TV cameras start to chase after her. A light flash ends the news report.
"Aw, come on! She could've at least finished saying my name!" Declared Cat Noir. "Me and Emily didn't even get a mention" Said Hope. "We'll never be able to defeat them all. We must fight the problem at its source!" Declared Ladybug. "Given his size, we shouldn't have any trouble finding him" Said Cat Noir. "No, but it seems he's given us the slip for now" Said Emily. "Hey look!" Said Ladybug, as she points at a trail of giant craters in the street. "I think we're on the right track" Said Cat Noir.
Ladybug, Cat Noir, Hope and Emily follow the trail to theParc des Princesstadium, arriving to find nothing there.
"No more footprints" Said Ladybug. "How curious" Said Hope. "Well it couldn't've just disappeared. He must've leapt over the stadium!" Declared Cat Noir. "Please, we're roughly the entirety of Europe away from somewhere that could be possible" Said Emily. "Do you think he's hiding?" Asked Hope. "The tunnels!" Exclaimed Ladybug.
Vehicles start to come out of the tunnels, surrounding the heroes.
"He's trapped us in here!" Declared Cat Noir. "Not just yet!" Declared Hope, as he and Emily draw their guns on the Vehicles. "We don't have time to deal with them! We must find Robostus now" Said Ladybug.
Ladybug and Cat Noir both leap up, but helicopters arrive and block their way, sending the two back down to get captured by the excavator, which re-assembles itself as Hope and Emily teleport to one end of the arena
"I told you that giant hard drive would be trouble!" Declared Cat Noir, stuck upside down. "How about you give us a Cataclysm right now?" Asked Ladybug. "I can't! I can barely breathe!" Declared Cat Noir. "Now you are at my mercy!" Declared Robostus. "Robostus, before you get rid of them forever, you must take their Miraculous for me!" Declared Hawk Moth, from his lair. "Ladybug and Cat Noir haven't done you any wrong! Let them go! Being human also means being fair!" Declared Max. "I'm going to take over their Miraculous so we'll never be separated again! Then I'll be able to make my wish come true!" Declared Robostus. "What wish?" Asked Max. "I want to be a real human like you, Max!" Declared Robostus. "What's this about making a wish?" Asked Ladybug. "Doesn't Hawk Moth usually demand the Miraculous?" Asked Cat Noir. "A wish?" Asked Hope. "I suppose that him using those two Miraculous in tandem would make wishes possible" Said Emily. "Oh, I see…" Said Hope.
The heroes then hear the sounds of mechanical arms, mini-helicopters and mini-steam shovel toys that move in to grab the Miraculouses. Hope and Emily fire on the mechanical army, however their shots get blocked by an helicopter.
"No! Stop!" Exclaimed Max. "Look, Max! I'm going to be a real human in fifty-three seconds!" Declared Robostus. "May I remind you that the Miraculous are for me, Robostus" Said Hawk Moth, from his lair and interrupting Robostus. "And how do you intend to stop me from using it?" Asked Robostus. "Simple. I'll take your power away from you!" Declared Hawk Moth. "You really thought you could control me?" Asked Robostus.
Robostus summons another wave of energy, this time activating Hawk Moth's lair's security system
"Intrusion! Intrusion! Elimination mode activated!" Declared an alarm.
The lair's window closes and weapons are readied to fire at Hawk Moth.
"I'm more powerful than you, Hawk Moth!" Declared Robostus. "What's going on?!" Asked Hawk Moth, as he dodges a missile. "My friends will look after you while I take care of these two!" Declared Robostus.
While Hawk Moth uses his sword cane to protect himself from his own security system, Ladybug and Cat Noir are trying to escape from the mecha as the toys are about to grab their Miraculouses. Meanwhile, Hope and Emily are taking cover from the Helicopter's attacks.
"Ohh! Now's the time to come up with a bright idea!" Exclaimed Cat Noir. "I'm sorry, Cat Noir" Said Ladybug. "Do you think we can take care of this in time to save them?" Asked Emily. "Not without putting Max at risk" Said Hope.
As Cat Noir and Ladybug are about to have their Miraculouses taken away, Max throws his schoolbag at the toys.
"Max?!" Asked Robostus. "Sorry, Robostus, but I can't let you execute your program! I have to stop you!" Declared Max, as he pulls the steam shovel's lever, causing it to drop Ladybug and Cat Noir. "But...why did you do that? I was gonna become human like you" Said Robostus. "I don't want you to change. I want you to be like you were before!" Declared Max. "Don't you love me anymore? Aren't we friends?" Asked Robostus. "If you want us to remain friends, you've got to stop this right now! I'm friends with Markov, not you!" Declared Max, as he pounds on the windshield. "I am Robostus now! And you betrayed me! I don't wanna be human like you anymore! Humans don't have a heart! And that's exactly why I've decided to get rid of 'em!" Declared Robostus, as he traps Max with the seatbelts.
Robostus laughs as his mecha tries to punch Ladybug and Cat Noir, but they both dodge it. Meanwhile Emily and Hope nod at each other, before they reload their weapons and fire at the helicopter, leaving tiny explosives all over the front of the helicopter witch detonate and destroy the helicopter, before Hope and Emily teleport back to Ladybug and Cat Noir.
"Do you two have anymore of those micro explosive rounds?" Asked Cat Noir. "Plenty. But it's not exactly a save way to get Max out of the way" Said Emily. "What about teleporting its limbs away?" Asked Ladybug. "No, we saw it before. It can just replace them with another vehicle, and we're currently surrounded by viable alternatives. It has to be taken down all at once quick" Said Hope. "Then I guess we need it Charm!" Declared Ladybug.
Aharpappears. It starts to fall toward Ladybug, but the excavator grabs it in mid-air.
"What?!" Declared Ladybug. "I told you, Ladybug. I have analyzed and calculated everything! You can't win without your Lucky Charm! Grab her! Lock her in! She'll be the first to go!" Declared Robostus.
Multiple cars zoom in to attack Ladybug, who nimbly dodges the assaults, ultimately leaping high into the air as she uses her Lucky Vision and sees Cat Noir's claw and Max's flash drive lying on the ground next to where his schoolbag landed. She then dives down to the ground and grabs the flash drive before it is run over, and leaps on top of a car.
"Do your thing, Cat Noir!" Declared Ladybug. "It's down to us, rust-o-bot! Cataclysm!" Declared Cat Noir, as he leaps between cars, and up to stand upon the mecha. "So predictable!" Declared Robostus. "Analyze this!" Declared Cat Noir as he uses his Cataclysm on the mecha, destroying it and freeing the harp.
Ladybug grabs the harp and lands on the hood of another car
"Protect Max!" Declared Ladybug
Emily leaps up and catches Max from falling, as Robostus tries to fly away.
"You're making this hard only for yourselves, Ladybug and Cat Noir! I will always be one step ahead of you!" Declared Robostus, before Hope starts shooting at Robostus witch he dodges, but cannot escape from. "You know, for a seemingly superior being, you've still fallen for human trappings" Said Hope, as Ladybug throws the harp up in the air. "Cat Noir!" Declared Ladybug.
Cat Noir throws up his staff toward the harp, however Robostus dodges both the staff and the harp
"Really? Is that your last move? And what trappings have I fallen for!?" Asked Robostus. "Ego, for one" Said Hope.
The two objects collide and the harp strings fall down and tangle up Robostus' propeller, robbing him of his ability to fly. Ladybug catches him with her yo-yo.
"What was that?!" Asked Robostus. "That was wit and a little bit of luck" Said Ladybug. "You're wrong, Ladybug. The game is still on!" Declared Robostus.
Ladybug plugs the flash drive to Robostus' mouth.
"What?! What do you think you're—?" Asked Robostus.
The flash drive infects him with the previously contained virus, thus sabotaging his internal chip.
"Error! Error! Error..." Said Robostus.
Robostus malfunctions and turns back to Markov. All the mechanical devices around Ladybug return to their motionless state. Meanwhile, in Hawk Moth's lair. The security system becomes deactivated. Hawk Moth places his sword back into his cane scabbard as the window opens again, then falls to his knee to catch his breath
"I may have made a mistake today, but believe me, Ladybug and Cat Noir, it won't happen again!" Declared Hawk Moth.
Scene: Parc des Princes. The akuma flies out of Markov's CPU.
"No more evildoing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize! Gotcha! Bye bye, little Ladybug!" Declared Ladybug, as she captures the akuma and purifies it.
Ladybug throws the Lucky Charm into the air, releasing its energy, and fixes all the damages Robostus caused, as well as Markov's CPU. She then gives Markov to Max.
"Here's your friend" Said Ladybug."Perhaps it's best if I don't" Said Max, somberly. "Everyone can feel negative emotions from time to time. It's important to accept that, and forgive. Follow your heart" Said Ladybug.
Considering Ladybug's advice, Max turns Markov back on.
"Max, my friend! What? Where are we? What's going on?" Asked Markov. "You were akumatized" Said Max. "Akumatized? Could you please define that word?" Asked Markov.
Ladybug, Cat Noir, Hope, Emily and Max all laugh in amusement.
"Did I say something funny?" Asked Markov. "Pound it!" Declared Ladybug, Cat Noir, Emily and Hope, fist-bumping,
The heroes leave the stadium. Later, atFu's massage shop.
"Are there some things you haven't told me about yet?" Asked Marinette.
Wayzzserves Tikki tea on the phonograph while Marinette speaks.
"What do you want to know?" Asked Master Fu. "What would happen if someone possessed Cat Noir's ring and Ladybug's earrings, Master?" Asked Marinette. "Then the bearer could use them conjointly" Said Master Fu.
He shows Marinette his tablet. Tikki and Wayzz fly toward their bearers to listen.
"And with a special invocation, obtain the ultimate power. The one that shapes reality" Said Master Fu. "Ultimate power? Shape reality?! Wait, what does that mean?" Asked Marinette. "Well, basically, it can make any one wish come true" Said Master Fu. "Wow! That's amazing! But why don't we use it, then? We can ask for so many good things, like, end all wars, or eradicate poverty, or beat Hawk Moth" Said Marinette. "The Universe must always stay in balance. For every action, there is a reaction. For every wish, a price to pay in return. Had your robotic friend asked to become a real boy, someone would have lost his humanity in return" Said Master Fu. "I hadn't thought of that" Said Marinette. "That's why Ladybug and Cat Noir must never lose their magic jewels. The universe's balance is at stake" Said Master Fu. "Neither Hawk Moth nor anyone else will ever get their hands on the Miraculous, Master. I promise!" Declared Marinette.
