Two days later he and Pain sat in the doctor's office and Deidara did not know how he felt about that. He could not understand why Pain had to be with him at the meeting. He felt like a child that no one trusted. It reminded him of the times when he was in the orphanage and he had to go to the office and be scolded for something that he did not do.
- Why does the doctor need you here? He looked at the leader and got a "I dont know back" look from him.
The doctor came in and he was sweating and took out a napkin and used it on his forehead. He was looking at them both when he sat down at his desk and had a large folder in front of him.
- So Mr Deidara, we now know why you won't get better. He took a big breath of air and did not know how to continue.*
- AM I GOING TO DIE? IS IT WHY HE IS HERE? Deidara felt how the grim reaper was breathing down his neck and he pointed at Pain.
- No...It's nothing like that... uhm have you had any unusual missions lately. The atmosphere in the room changed and Deidara was swallowing air.
- Why do you ask? Pain asked and saw how the doctor began to panic.
- Hrm Mister Pain i know that since you came here things have been better for everyone, i dont know what kind of missions you send your team on to. He looked down at the thick folder and Deidara could not stop swallowing air.
- Just tell me why you need us both here. Pain had more meeting after this meeting and he was surprised that Deidaras doctor asked him to be at the meeting they had now.
- Mister Deidara, we did a lot of tests and you are pregnant, you are about eleven to thirteen weeks pregnant. The air in the office turned into ice and Deidara lost all his color.
- WH...WH...WHAT?! NO I CANT BE! I'm A MALE, UN! He stood up and slammed both of his hands on the desk.
- That's why we did an ultrasound on you yesterday to see if the tests we did when you came in to the ER a few days ago was correct. He was now gasping for air and he had to sit down, when they told him that they needed to do an ultrascan yesterday the nurses said nothing about what was inside of him. "We need to see if the kidneys and the other organs are okay" the words echoed inside his head.
- He had to be a female a week three months ago in a mission. Pains word hit him like ice-cold daggers and Deidara began to sweat in horror. He begun to realize what was happening and he was afraid.
- It's pretty rare for things like these to happen, but it happens sometimes. The doctor began to relax a little, he know that meeting like this could end good or end bad. This was his first case and he had to ask doctors in other regions for advice and how to treat this unusual case.
- No...you are wrong... Deidara was about to cry and he refused to believe that it was true.
- Im sorry Mister Deidara, but you have a growing fetus inside of you. And acording to law you can do an abortion up to week fourteen. He opened a calendar and was looking for dates that was open for an operation.
- GET RID OF IT NOW, UN! He screamed the words and he hoped that they could do the operation now.
- He will keep it. Both of the looked at Pain and the doctor knew that this discussion was between him and his employee.
- WHAT? YOU CANT BE SERIOUS, UN! He stood up and the sweat was pouring down from his body.
- I'll leave you two alone for a while, i see that you both have things to talk about. He hurried out and left a note that no one could open the door.
- HOW CAN YOU DECIDE SOMETHING LIKE THAT, UN! He was hitting Pain as hard as he could and then he felt a sharp pain at the side on his head.
- Are you going to calm down? The voice was filled with threat and he felt the cold desk at the side of his head. Pain had grabbed his head and then slammed it down at the desk. He was now laying all his body weight over his and he could not move.
- BUT.. He heard a harsh voice again and he knew from experience that Pain had a short temper.
- You signed the contract, and its up to me to decide your punishment. Meanwhile you spread your legs, even if your work was just dancing and nothing more the mission was a failure. He could feel how the young boy thinking hard and he was desperate.
- I..i...i did not spread my legs... a flashback from the night he was with Romanow was playing like a movie inside his head, he could feel the man's hands over his body and he could feel the taste from the man's skin.
- If you did not spread the legs, how did you become pregnant and what did you do for a whole day? The day you missed the target was talking about changing the place for the mission he had information on.
And since you had the most right and i you had to come home early i though you where in trouble.
We lost a lot of money and i have not told Kakuzu, so you can either be a girl and then letting him rent you out and get the money we lost or caring this little accident. Pain placed a hand on the stomach and stroke it gently, that made Gadara feel sick and he hated himself. "BRAT ALWAYS READ THE PAPERS" Sasoris voice was screaming inside his head and he started to calm down.
- I...I'm...I'm calm...un... The grip of his body became loose and soon he sat down on the chair and the room fell silent. The minutes after felt like a lifetime before the doctor came in and sat down.
- So what have you decided? He took a napkin from his white robe and used it on his forehead.
- He will keep it doctor, is there anything he needs to know? Pain was the one that talked and Deidara could not hear a word, everything became blurry and he felt his heart beat faster. He began to chew hard and he felt how his body became warmer and warmer. The air did not get down in his lungs and he began to gasp for breath loud. The doctor and Pain was looking at him and they both saw the panic in his eyes and when he tried to stand up he fell down. He hit the side of his head in the desk and when he was on the floor he waved his arms and legs. A gurgling sound came from his throat and then everything went dark and quiet.
When he woke up he sat up in a bed so fast that he felt the whole room spinning, he placed his hands on his head to make it stop spinning stop.
- Please stop... he felt sick and betrayed. He felt a hand on his leg and he knew that if he moved his head or talked the room would spin faster.
- Shyy lay down, you need to rest. He heard Pains voice and he wanted to scream at him, it was his fault that he was sick.
- No...The room began to spin faster and he had to lie down and he felt a hand on his forehead.
- Try to rest, we can talk tomorrow. His voice was calm and when looked at blonde young man that was holding his head he could not help but smile at him.
Two days after he got the folder in front of him with papers and different schedules for check-ups at the hospital. Since he did not have the female organs he needed more check-ups and ultrascans to see that the fetus inside him was growing well. If they saw that the fetus was not feeling well and something happened they had to do a surgery right away to save his life.
He also had a list of medications that he needed to eat and he also needed to eat vitamins to help the fetus grow and be healthy. He also got a date for when it was safe for him and the fetus to be delivered. Furthermore, he needed to get a c section and he wanted the day to come as soon as possible. Not only that, but he was not listening to everything and the doctor and the nurse that would do his check-ups knew that he needed time. They saw on him that he was in denial and they both knew that he wanted the fetus out. But since Pain was his boss they did not dare to go against him. Or they knew that they could not go against him, he was powerful and had a big influence in the town.
- You need to leave a blood test each week and you also need to think about what you are eating and drinking. Some food and liquids are bad for the fetus and. The nurse saw how he just nodded when she gave him a folder of food and drinks that was safe and not safe.
- When can i go home? He wanted to go back to his room and wake up from this nightmare.
- You can go when you feel better. The doctor was about to tell him that he wanted him to stay one more day. He took the folders in one hand and before he stood up he grabbed a small bag that was on the side of the chair and then began to walk to the door in the doctor's office.
- Remember to use the backdoor tomorrow when you come for your check-up. They decided that it would be best for everyone if he used the door in the back and then got escorted to a private room away from the rest of the nurses and doctors. They where afraid that he would be hurt by others if they found out about him. Furthermore, they was also afraid that a rumor would be spread and people would seek after him and then hurt him.
Males that was pregnant was rare and the cases that was know often ended in tragedy. Males that was speared had to go underground and hide the truth about the child or what he had been through. He opened the door and walked out, he left the door open and walked to the nearest exit and walked outside. It was still summer in the air and he took a few deep breaths before he began to walk back to the HQ. He placed the bag he was carrying on the ground and opened it, he placed the folders inside and then closed the bag.
"Did i insult someone in my last life?" he grabbed the bag and then began a slow walk back to the HQ. It also began to rain and he felt cold and nauseous, the time was after four in the afternoon and he needed to eat something. He walked to a bakery and bought some fresh bread and walked out. Right now bread was the only thing that he could keep and he knew that the hospital wanted him to stay longer, but he had refused.
The smell of the fresh warm bread made him hungry and he hurried home, he did not want to meet anyone. He knew that the others was recovering from the bad food poisoning. When he had come back from the emergency meeting he found out from Tobi and Zetsu that everyone got really sick and was now staying in their rooms. He then knocked on the doors and asked if they where okay. The day after he and Tobi went from room to room with a glass pitcher of water for everyone. Gadara was the one that got sickest of them all, from time to time he was more or less unconscious and Pain had been worried. He had refused to eat or drink anything, everything that he eat or drank came up again.
One evening Gadara had woken up and his lips was so dry that he could peel the skin of them, he needed something to drink. He had been stumbling out of his bed and then used the wall outside in the corridor as support when he walked. He then had no more energy to move and just fell down on the floor.
He also had no memory of Pain being with him the first night when they came to the ER. And he had no memory of at the tests they had done on him the day after. When they gave him water to drink it had come right back up, the food they had giving him also came back up. When the first test results had come back the nurse though something was wrong. The nurse did a lot of new tests and when she told the doctor about his condition they decided to and ultras can. They both had hoped that the test results was because of a parasite that he got when eat the shrimp and fish. They told him that they needed to check his organs to see if they had been damaged. When they saw the little fetus they both knew that they needed a meeting. They also did not know how to tell him that what the earlier test result was, they did not want him to panic.
He prayed that no one was in the HQ when he entered the building, he did not want to answer any questions about why he was in the hospital for so long. When he came to the kitchen area it was empty and quiet he felt calm inside.
- My office now! Pain walked in the corridor and he did not dare to look at him. He could only nod and began a slow walk to the office. When he saw him waiting for him outside he looked down on the floor and felt a hand on his back that was pushing him inside the room. When they both entered the room and Pain closed and locked the door. Now he stood behind him and his lungs stopped to work. He could feel Pains chest against his back and the hair on his neck was standing up.
- Pain... a finger was placed on his lips and the scent from the man behind him became stronger. A thumb was placed under his chin and then mowed his head upwards.
Warm breath was hitting his ear and every cell in his body was screaming in panic.
- Now tell me the truth, did you spread your legs? The voice was sharp and threatening, he knew that he was on thin ice, or rather cracked thin ice.
- I..i..i did not...i mean...i did not..plan...un. His voice was cracking and filled with panic, he was afraid for telling him the truth. A firm grip was placed on hos throat and a whisper that could make the most fearsome demon shiver.
- What did i say about the un part? I let it slide when you where at the hospital but not here. He was about to say something more when he heard a knock on the door. He let go of the throat and then turned around an unlocked the door. He opened the door and walked out and then came in again after a few minutes.
- Im...sorry... He felt a point index finger under his chin stroking him gently and a soft voice talked to him.
- Shyy, you must be tired after everyting that has happened. How about we talk more tomorrow before your check-up. The nose was inhaling the blonde boys scent and their bodies was so close each other.
- Do...do..does the other's know? He felt like a kid again and that made him sick, the bad and sad memories that he had forced himself to forget began to come back.
- No, It's up to you when you want to tell them. Until then i will tell them that you are on desk duty for a while. A hand was placed on his stomach and he wanted to break free, but he could not move. It felt so wrong and every cell in his body began to hurt and that made him feel sick.
- I..dont want them to know.. He wanted it to be a secret from everyone.
- It will be our little secret. The hand was rubbing the stomach gently and he could feel how the body infront of him body became stiff, he hated to be touched.
- Pain...please... his voice became shy and timid and then he got a kiss on the side of his head.
- You must be tired after a long day in the hospital, go and rest. Pain kissed the side of the head one more time, Then Deidara grabbed the bag he rushed out from the room and down the corridor to his room.
Outside his door he looked for his keys in the bag and unlocked the door and rushed in. When he closed the door behind him, he stood in front of it and began to breath hard. Pain had first threatened him and then he kissed his head, he felt confused and happy at the same time. He was confused over the way he was treated but happy that his condition was hidden from the others. He saw the brown paper bag with the bread on top of the bag, he took it and then sat on his bed and began to eat. He still had his shoes and jacket on, but he did not care, he was in deep thoughts and he was unsure of the meeting in the morning. He then took small pieced from the bread loaf and starred at his door.
When he had eating the half of the bread the placed the rest of it in the brown bad and placed it on his bedside table. He kicked his shoes off and let the jacket fall on the floor, he then laid on his back and closed his eyes. "Maybe he changes his mind if I'm behaving" later that night he had so many different nightmares that he throw up, everything he dreamt was so real. In one of the dreams the fetus was clawing It's way out when he took a stroll in the town. He had felt a sharp from his belly and people was just starring at him. He had been screaming for help but no one wanted to help him, they was just watching. Long claws was slicing throw his thin skin and he could feel something move fast inside of him. He could swear that he felt something that was moving fast inside him.
It was in the middle of the night when Sasori heard a weak knock on his door at the workshop, he told the person outside to come in. He had a feeling on who it was and he was right. Deidara walked in slowly and closed the door behind him as quiet as he could. He was wearing a black hoodie to hide his face and hair. He saw a chair next to Sasori and he walked to it and sat down. All his joints was acing because of all the times he had been throwing up this week.
- So you are back? Sasori did not look away from the doll he was working on.
- ...Yeah... Sasori... do... He wanted more of the medicine that he got when they where working at the shop last week.
- Bottom drawer on your left side. When he got back to the HQ he modified the medicine and made it as pills. From the start it was in a powder form that needed to be blended in a liquid. He could even make more and a better quality now when he had all his equipments near him.
- .. Thank you... He opened the drawer and saw a white bottle and when he rattled it he heard pills inside. On the bottle it said one pill before going to bed, he nodded and stood up and began to walk to the door.
- It should also help with the morning sickness if you take them before going to bed.
Two hands was grabbing his collar and now his back got slammed against a hard wall.
- WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY, UN? Saliva was dropping from his mouth and he showed his teeth.
- It was obvious when you began to change. Satori was not intimidated by the boy in front of him. He was more annoyed that he got disturbed when he was working.
- WHAT DO YOU MEAN, UN! The strength he had now was something that he never had before. It could be the adrenaline or the fact that Sasori could have speared him from the punishment he had now.
- Please stop screaming, and please stop spitting on me. He placed on one of his hands on Deidaras hands to make him let him go.
- IF YOU KNEW WHY DID YOU NOT SAY ANYTHING, UN? Tears was dripping from his eyes and he slammed Sasoris body against the wall again and again.
- Would you believe me if i told you what i suspected? A grin was forming on his face and he was thrown on the floor.
- I COULD GET IT CHECKED AND THEN GET RID OF IT! He felt betrayed and he was about to cry.
- Why dont you get rid of it now? Satori stood up and looked at him with curiosity. He had heard about cases like him, but it was something else to see it happening.
- He can't because of a contract. Pain walked in and saw Deidaras body shiver in anger and in it was in a way amusing. The once arrogant and loud and proud self-confidence young man was now gone, in front of him was a sad and betrayed young boy that had an temper tantrum.
- Ahh he did not read it. Sasoris voice was so nonchalant that it made him ice-cold.
- No and he also wants to keep it a secret from the others. I think it would be the best for now. He placed his hands on Deidaras shoulders and could not see him grinding his teeth and see the hurt in his eyes. They both talked about him in front of him, they talked about him like he was a little kid that could not understand what they said. He began to shake his head and then he threw the bottle with the pills in at Sasori.
- I DON'T NEED THIS CRAP, I DON'T NEED ANY OF YOU! He then tore him self from Pains grip and rushed to the door and then out in the corridor. He ran to his room and when he got inside he took out a kunai and then stabbed himself in the stomach a few times before everything went black.
When he opened his eyes he just saw a bright white light, he turned his head to the side and all he saw was white. When he tried to sit up something was holding him down. He tried to raise his arms, but they was being hold down by something. When he used his eyes to look down he saw that he was cuffed down in a bed. His hands and feet was strapped down and there was a blue blanker over his body. When he could focus his eyesight he saw that the white room he was in was a hospital room and he tried to break free. "If i only had my clay, with it, i could break free and then get out of here"
- Calm down or you will hurt yourself. Pain came in to the room with a tray and on it was a glass of water and two sandwiches.
- YOU! GET OUT! LEAVE ME ALONE! He tried his best to break loose and heard a sigh from Pain. He placed the tray on a table and then sat down on the bed and stroke Deidaras forehead gently. Furthermore, he knew that the boy in front of him needed to get the rage out that the was feeling. He did not say anything, he just looked him in the eyes. He yelled and yelled until he almost lost his voice and the whole time Pain was looking at him.
- You gave us a scare last night. He saw how he began to shook his head and then began to remember what he did yesterday.
- Is it gone? He could only whisper the words of hope.
- The child is strong, just like you. He then saw fear and hopelessness in the blue eyes that was looking at him.
- No no no, get it out! I'll do anything! He began to cry and he wanted to escape and just hide from everyone. Pain leaned forward and gave his lips a sweet and innocent kiss.
- If i did not believe in you, i would not give you this punishment. He whispered the words in his ear and he could not think. He just got a kiss and did he hear him right? Did he believe in him?
- Pain... He was so confused by what just happened. Pain stood up and walked to the table and took the glass of water and walked back to him. He placed the glass to his lips and helped him to drink the water. When he was done drinking he felt a thumb on his underlip drying a single water drop a way.
- Shyy you need to rest, i will come back later to check on you both. He then tucked him in and gave him another kiss on the lips and rubbed his belly gently. Their foreheads was touching and he felt a little bit shy. Soon he was all alone again and that scared him. It was just him and the thing inside him and his own thoughts. He was sure that his little stunt last night had worked. And had Pain really kissed him? And did he believe in him even if he had failed his mission? Did he really care about him? He closed his eyes and began to think about all the times when Pain had touched him with his fingers and all the times that his lips had kissed his forehead.
Later that evening Pain had come back just as he promised and sat on the bed when the doctor and the nurse told Gadara why he was strapped to the bed.
- When your boss came with you last night we all though you where going to die because of the wounds. We all was relieved that the fetus was not harmed and survived. When you woke up from the operation you tried to rip up the stitches and we had to use anesthesia on you. After that we all decided to seal your powers, you can't use any type of juts and you can't harm yourself or the fetus inside you. He did not say anything when they was done. When they left the room he felt empty inside, his power was sealed and the mouths on his hand and the mouth on his chest was gone. He could not make anything with clay anymore and it felt like they had cut two body parts from his body.
- It will be okay, i will be by your side all the way. I will pick you up when they discharge you. He saw that Gadara faced away from him, he did not take the news he just got well. He needed time to adjust to his new life for the next couple of months. Before he left him he kissed the side of his head and before he walked out from the room the turn of the lights and closed the door slowly. "All he need is time and i have plenty" inside the room he closed his eyes and began a long and sleepless night. Even if he could not harm himself they did not trust him enough after what they just had told him. He could still harm others or destroy the room.
In the early morning the nurse came in and saw that he was starring at the wall. She did some small talk when she took some blood to test and she also checked his sugar levels to see if he would get pregnancy diabetes. She felt so sorry for him, but there was nothing she could do, she could only help him to feel better. She walked out and a male nurse came in and freed him from the strains and led him to a bathroom so he could brush his teeth and then take a shower. He looked down at his hands and saw that they was stitched up, he could not feel the tongues moving like he used to. The guard outside began to knock on the door and he told him that he was just stepping in the shower. He got undressed and came out after five minutes. ""When was the last time i took a shower?"" he put on new clothes and when he got out he was escorted back to his bed and got his hands and feet strapped down. After that he got a new blue blanket placed over his body and the guard walked out.
- I'll be back later in the afternoon, try to rest. After the words the guard closed the door and Gadara felt more tired than he ever have done before in his life. ""Please dont let me wake up"" Once again he had a restless sleep and he wanted to lay on his side, but the was belted to sleep on his back. Pain came back in the evening after he had a small meal and a bathroom break, he had dark circles under his eyes and he was stumbling when he walked in the room. When he saw Pain in his room he walked to him and when he was inches from him, he began to sob.
- Please Pain let me go home. He was so tired mental and he was afraid of everthing. Pain gave the guard a nod and the guard walked out from the room. Then he picked him up like a bride and walked to the bed. He placed him down gently and then he laid down next to him. Gadara was lying on his side and was holding on to Pains clothes and sobbed loud. He was tired, hungry and his hands and feet was aching from the belts that was restraining him to the bed.
He placed his hand on his cheek and stroke it gently and gave him a soft kiss on the lips.
- Shyy, you need to eat better and sleep better before you can come back. I dont want anything bad happen to you, you mean so much to me.
- I..i do? He looked at the man that was in front of him and got another kiss on the lips.
- Yes you do, and how about this, how about i stay until you fall asleep and i will talk to the head nurse about you coming and visiting from time to time? The eyes that meet him had some hope in them and he felt how the boy was nursling his forehead on his chest.
- Do you promise to stay? The scent from Pain made him feel calm and now he felt a hand on the back on his head that stroke its finger gently at his scalp.
- Yes i promise, now try to relax i won't let anything bad happen to you. When he was done talking he could hear deep and irregular breathing.
After twenty minutes Deidara was in a deep sleep and he was still holding Pains clothes as hard as he could. He was too afraid to let go of him, he was afraid that they would never see each other again. Pain was on his back and Deidara had his head resting on his chest and seemed more relaxed. A soft knock was disturbing the calm and silent atmosphere in the room. The guard came in and saw them both and then helped him up from the bed. After that they both carefully belted the boys hands and feet. The guard walked out and Pain tucked him in gently and kissed his lips before he walked out and turned off the lights.
