"That's all great, Dad, but we really need to talk about this Team Rocket business," Eilie interjected, her tone serious.
"Yeah, Team Rocket…" Ash's expression turned steely. "Like I mentioned, Giovanni's the academy principal, though he's rarely seen there. Most of the time, he acts as Viridian City's Gym Leader… or so they say."
He paused, scanning the area, lost in thought. "When we were in the mutant dungeon, we found books, papers, diaries… a lot of them written around this time period. This is when the research on mutants really began, and I'm almost certain I know where that research is happening."
No one looked especially surprised—except Zekrom, who narrowed his eyes, deep in thought.
"Why can't we just kill this Giovanni fucker?" Gardevoir cut in bluntly. "Mutant Shadow Mewtwo alone nearly brought the world to its knees over the last fifty years, and we beat it."
Ash caught her meaning immediately. "We can't go that route," he replied firmly. "Unlike in the dungeon, we can't just take out whoever we please—there are serious consequences outside. This mission needs stealth, not brute force."
"So, what's the plan?" Eilie asked.
Ash took a deep breath. "The plan starts after this school year. I looked into it, in the second year, all students are required to live in the dorms. That'll be especially risky for us. That's why I won't be taking Zekrom with us."
Zekrom's eyes narrowed. "But… why?"
Everyone glanced from Zekrom's towering figure to Eilie, who could shapeshift with ease, adapting to any form or situation.
After a beat, realization dawned on Zekrom. He flushed slightly, lowering his head in understanding. "I apologize, Master. I see your reasoning."
Ash offered a small smile. "No need to apologize, Zekrom. As a legendary, I'll only call on you when things get truly serious. I wish it were different, but it's for your safety as much as ours."
Zekrom nodded solemnly in understanding.
Ash hesitated, guilt flickering in his eyes. "I was also thinking… about not bringing you, Gardevoir, and Eilie."
Eilie, caught off guard, instinctively shifted back into her original Yveltal form. "Wait, what?!"
"Dad, you can't leave us out of this!" Gardevoir protested, her tone fierce.
Ash took a steadying breath. "Gardevoir, you're a shiny of an already rare Pokémon. If anyone at the academy saw you, they'd try to take you away. I don't know if I could hold back if that happened… Same with you, Eilie." He paused, then added with a determined smile, "But I realized I'm already a target. They'll come after Pikachu, too, no matter what. So, I want you both with me, where I know you're safe—and where we can fight back together."
Gardevoir and Eilie exchanged a look before cheering, their spirits lifted as Ash reaffirmed their place by his side.
"But for now, Team Rocket isn't as big of a threat," Ash said calmly, drawing surprised looks from everyone except Pikachu.
Eilie stared at him, incredulous. "How can you say that? They created the Mewtwos and mutant Pokémon, they practically doomed that future we saw… the one that was supposed to be our original timeline."
Ash nodded, remaining composed. "You're right, but remember—we were in the future, nearly 170 years ahead. They don't actually succeed in their plans for another 20 years or so. And by then, we'll be more than strong enough to stop them long before it ever gets that far."
Gardevoir perked up at that. "So we can take our time, then? Not rush things and crush them gradually?"
"Not exactly," Ash cautioned, serious once more. "We've already altered the timeline by coming back. That means nothing in the future is set in stone anymore—think butterfly effect. Every choice we make now could change things in ways we can't predict."
Gardevoir tilted her head, a bit confused. "But aren't you contradicting yourself, Dad? You said we still have about twenty years before they finish the mutants. Now you're saying we don't know if that'll happen?"
Ash gave her a patient nod. "Exactly. We have to act as if the future we know might not happen at all—or that it could happen in completely unexpected ways. So while we keep our knowledge in mind, we treat it as only one possible outcome, not a guarantee. That's why we need to be careful in how we move forward."
One by one, his Pokémon nodded, understanding the stakes and the strategy Ash was laying out.
"But enough about those pathetic losers—let's see what we can do in my new personal dimension!" Ash said, his excitement barely contained as his Nephilim features came to life.
In the sunlight, his silver hair caught the light, glinting with streaks of red and black. One brilliant white wing, speckled with golden feathers, spread from his back alongside a black wing adorned with striking red feathers. His entire form radiated with an ethereal glow, and his eyes blazed into a brilliant shade of blue. The aura around him seemed almost tangible, shimmering with power and possibility, as if his very essence was harmonizing with the world around him.
Gardevoir rode on Eilie, while Pikachu perched on Ash's shoulder as Zekrom hovered nearby. Ash flapped his wings, gaining altitude, and his Pokémon followed suit, soaring gracefully into the sky. They climbed higher and higher, reaching an altitude so great that they could almost touch the stars.
From this vantage point, they could finally see it—their new world wasn't just an island but a small planet. The horizon curved below them, revealing a miniature Earth with its own landmasses, oceans, and forests—but no sign of animal life, only plants.
"Man... I thought I'd see an endless ocean or a stretch of plains, but this is even better," Ash said, practically bouncing with excitement. "We have an entire universe to ourselves."
Pikachu, scratching his chin thoughtfully, noted, "It's curious. The planet's just like Earth, except for the size. It has everything… except any living organisms, aside from plants."
"Who cares if there's life or not!" Eilie chimed in. "Dad, what are you gonna call your new planet?"
Ash paused, a grin spreading as he realized he actually got to name an entire world. "Huh, I never thought I'd be naming a planet... Hmm…" He rubbed his chin, letting the possibilities sink in. "How about... Ashholm? It's got a nice ring to it."
Pikachu nodded approvingly. "Yeah, we can go with that."
The others let out sounds of agreement, feeling a bit more at home now on Ashholm, their very own world, high enough to almost reach space and filled with endless possibilities.
"Master, if I'm to live here, can you grant me a territory of my own?" Zekrom requested, his voice a mix of eagerness and anticipation.
"Yeah, sure! I can do that!" Ash agreed, soaring closer to the surface of Ashholm. With his title as elemental master still in effect, he felt a surge of power coursing through him.
With a wave of his hand, the sea parted dramatically, revealing the sandy bottom beneath. He then made a grabbing motion, concentrating deeply as he pulled on the very essence of the land.
The ground began to shake violently, and from the depths of Ashholm, a massive pillar of black obsidian erupted. It wasn't just any pillar; it was sculpted to resemble a dragon's maw, fierce and imposing, ready to devour all in its vicinity. It stood tall, a testament to Zekrom's newfound dominion over this territory.
However, the immense strain of the feat took its toll on Ash. As the pillar emerged, he slumped down in exhaustion. The sea rushed back to its original position, creating a sudden tsunami that swept over the shoreline, crashing against the newly formed structure.
Zekrom watched, a mix of awe and gratitude in his eyes, recognizing the effort his master had exerted to create this place just for him. The waves receded, leaving behind a dramatic landscape that would serve as a perfect home for the legendary Pokémon.
Zekrom hovered beneath Ash, his large frame offering a safe haven. "You can rest on me, Master. I would be honored if you did so!" he said, his voice filled with warmth and gratitude.
With a gentle fold of his wings, Ash descended and nestled against Zekrom's neck. Pikachu, wanting to avoid any awkwardness with the legendary, shifted to Ash's head, comfortably perched there.
"Aw, you're sweet, Zekrom!" Ash said, wrapping his arms around the legendary Pokémon and affectionately rubbing the sides of his face.
Zekrom blushed at the attention, closing his eyes in pleasure. Seeing this, Eilie and Gardevoir exchanged glances, a hint of jealousy in their expressions. Eilie darted up beside Zekrom, her voice bright with excitement. "Dad, you can ride on me too whenever you want, wherever you want!"
"Yeah, me too!" Gardevoir chimed in, nodding in agreement with her sister.
"You guys are sweet too!" Ash said, his heart swelling with affection as he gave both of them head pats. The two Pokémon leaned into his touch, looking very pleased with the attention.
Pikachu leaned out from Ash's head, his expression adorably cute. "Oh, come here, you!" Ash exclaimed, reaching up to scoop Pikachu into his hands. He started petting his head and rubbing his cheeks, drawing delighted sounds from the electric mouse.
"Just like that! Yes right there!" Pikachu said happily, relishing the affection as Ash's touch brought comfort to all of them in their newfound domain. The bond they shared radiated warmth, making the vast expanse of Ashholm feel even more like home.

Ash strode through the halls of Viridian Academy with Pikachu perched on his shoulder, his face devoid of any emotion. The effects of Ruthless Compassion stripped him of everything but calm, logic, and, when necessary, an edge of cold ruthlessness.
As he entered Class 1-A, Giselle threw him a mocking smirk, but Pikachu's response was immediate. "Bitch!" he spat with a venomous tone that would have left any listener paralyzed from the sheer hatred in his voice. Thankfully, for everyone else, Ash was the only one who could understand him.
Ash took his seat beside her, utterly indifferent to Giselle's attempts at goading him. He knew she thrived on attention, and he was doing the most infuriating thing he could—ignoring her completely. Pikachu leapt into Ash's lap, his anger barely contained, and Ash wrapped his arms around him, soothing him with his steady presence. He could turn off his emotions at will, but Pikachu needed his support to stay calm.
Pikachu huffed, the tension still evident in his little body. Ash gave him a gentle squeeze, his unbreakable calm a grounding force. Together, they prepared to face whatever this academy had in store, bound by loyalty and unspoken understanding.
Ranger Hawke entered the classroom carrying a large box, and Ash instantly recognized what was happening.
"Students, as you all know, your theoretical exams for this seminar are complete. In about a week, your practical examinations will begin. Class representative, if you could assist me," Ranger Hawke said.
Ash rose, noting Giselle's whispered remarks to the girl next to her about him being the "teacher's pet" or something equally childish. 'How naive,' he thought, striding calmly to the front. 'She has no clue what this is really about.'
"Ash, take five for yourself and distribute four Poké Balls to each student," Ranger Hawke instructed.
Ash paused, considering his options. "Ranger, is it alright if I use my own Poké Balls?" he asked politely. He had no intention of using anything affiliated with Team Rocket. The academy's Poké Balls were registered to the school, meaning it would be ridiculously easy for Team Rocket to seize any Pokémon he captured.
Ranger Hawke looked thoughtful for a moment. "It's generally easier for us to keep track of Pokémon with the registered balls in case of theft or emergencies. But considering your sponsor is Professor Oak, I think it's fine for you to use your own," he replied sincerely.
Ash gave a small nod. He wasn't sure if Ranger Hawke and the other instructors truly understood the deeper machinations within the academy. But if they did, they were keeping up a convincing front.
As Ash handed out the Poké Balls, he couldn't help but notice the looks of hostility around him. 'Why is it so hard to find a real friend for once?' he thought. Outwardly, though, he wore his usual bright smile, hiding how their cruel comments got to him.
"So, how does it feel, cheater?" AJ sneered as Ash handed him his four Poké Balls.
"What do you mean, AJ?" Ash asked, his tone sugar-coated.
"I mean, how does it feel now that your freakish Gloom got taken away? Now all you've got is that Pikachu who doesn't even know how to battle." AJ grinned smugly.
From Ash's seat, Pikachu let out an indignant snort. Ash's gaze hardened as he locked eyes with AJ, his lips curling into a dangerous smile. "Just because you haven't seen Pikachu fight doesn't mean he can't," he replied, his voice low and laced with a cold intensity. "I'll make you eat those words in the practical exam. After all, there's a reason I'm number one in this class." Ash allowed just a hint of his Nephilim aura to leak out, his presence momentarily overwhelming AJ and leaving him pale with fear.
He understood AJ's jealousy but wasn't about to tolerate insults against his Pokémon. If the academy thought it could take any more of his Pokémon, they'd need more than just their usual authority — they'd need permission from him and his mom, and that wasn't happening.
With that, Ash continued passing out Poké Balls. The room had fallen silent, his reminder of who held the top spot among them clear. They could say what they wanted about him, but none could deny his abilities. After finishing, Ash returned to his seat with Pikachu, whose smug expression mirrored his own as he settled back into Ash's lap.

The lectures carried on as usual until the lunch bell rang. Ash watched as Ritchie made his way over, but just before he reached him, Duplica appeared and quickly pulled him outside. Giselle threw in one last snide remark as she passed by, saying, "Sure, you're number one — but you're still just a lonely loser. No one actually wants to be your friend."
Ash felt a familiar sting. As much as he tried to brush it off, the truth hit home. Back in Pallet Town, people kept their distance to avoid drawing Gary's bullying. And here? Team Rocket's hold on the academy stripped him of any chance at a normal school life. He'd never liked school that much before, but after discovering the thrill of learning new things, he found he enjoyed it. Now Team Rocket was tainting even that for him.
With a quiet sigh, Ash made his way outside, Pikachu perched on his shoulder, doing his best to cheer him up. Ash felt a genuine smile forming as Pikachu's antics broke through the haze of negativity. He knew his Pokémon — his family — would always be there for him. Thoughts of a certain honey-blonde girl also crept into his mind, causing a light blush. 'And of course, Serena,' he mused, his smile growing just a bit brighter.

Ash leaned against a tree, quietly waiting as Pikachu scouted the academy for any valuable information. Ever since discovering Giovanni's role as principal — and his connection to Team Rocket — Ash knew he couldn't risk asking direct questions. But Pikachu? A "wild" Pokémon wandering around went unnoticed. His partner had become Ash's ears around the academy, picking up whispers from older students and staff, searching for any rumors that could hide dangerous truths.
And Pikachu's findings only confirmed Ash's suspicions.
One story, in particular, stood out. Pikachu had overheard older students discussing a former top student who once held the same position as Ash. The student had been leagues ahead of his peers, rarely losing, until one of his academy-given Pokémon suddenly fell ill. Accusations flew, his popularity crumbled, and soon, he was an outcast.
But then came a curious twist. At the end of the school year, the principal — Giovanni himself — requested a private meeting with the student. Afterward, the sick Pokémon returned, healthier and more powerful than before. Alongside it, the student had gained new, rare Pokémon and quickly reclaimed his top rank. Ash had little doubt about the intent: this was how Team Rocket manipulated and recruited, using isolation and pressure before offering a "rescue" in exchange for loyalty.
Ash clenched his fists, determination burning within him. If Team Rocket thought they could lure him with power and sway, they were dead wrong.
Ash snapped out of his thoughts as Pikachu leapt onto him out of nowhere, catching him off guard with a little jolt. He chuckled, feeling the familiar tingle of static electricity coursing through him. Pikachu had become so powerful lately that even his accidental zaps stung like a mid-level Spark attack.
"Find anything?" Ash asked, giving Pikachu a quick scratch behind the ears.
Pikachu shook his head, looking a little frustrated. "Nothing we don't already know," he replied.
Ash sighed, but he wasn't too surprised. "Guess we'll have to dig a bit deeper... or find a new approach," he said, more to himself than Pikachu. But if anyone could uncover more secrets, he knew it was his partner.
"So, what's our next move?" Pikachu asked, his eyes sharp with curiosity.
Ash looked at him with a thoughtful expression. "I do have a plan... but it's not exactly ethical," he admitted, glancing around as though to make sure no one could overhear.
Pikachu's curiosity only deepened. "Go on, then. What's this about that book we found in Saffron?"
Ash nodded, grinning slightly. "You remember—it was basically a full biography. Some fan from the future wrote down everything about my adventures. Most people would probably think it's just a storybook, but we know it's true. That book even predicted our encounter with the flock of Spearows."
"Yeah, and then there was that old diary from Professor Oak," Pikachu added, understanding where Ash was going.
"Exactly," Ash replied. "If we're going to take down Team Rocket, we need someone with real influence—someone like Professor Oak. Even if he doesn't believe everything right away, this book could sway him. But we'll need to manipulate him a little to make sure he's fully on our side."
Pikachu raised an eyebrow. "Manipulate him? How? The professor's sharp. He'd figure it out if you're not careful."
Ash's smirk widened. "Don't worry. I've got a few ideas to make this work. All we need to do is plant the right seeds, at the right time, in just the right way."
Pikachu looked at him with a mix of doubt and admiration, but he knew Ash well enough by now. "Alright, I'll trust you with this one," he said, his tone tinged with excitement.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXx
As the last bell rang, Ash's excitement peaked. He packed his bag, grabbed Pikachu, and ran out as fast as possible, heading straight for the teleport station to return to Pallet.
The moment he exited the station in Pallet, he was tackled to the ground by two familiar figures: Gardevoir and Eilie. Eilie was now a perfect replica of Gardevoir, except instead of blue, she was red. Her dress remained white, unlike Gardevoir's, whose dress constantly shifted through every shade of grey.
Ash couldn't help but think that he really needed to do something about that.
"Gardevoir, Eilie, could you not do this every single time?" Ash asked with a mix of fondness and exasperation.
"Dad, you could just take us with you!" Eilie said sagely, standing up, with Gardevoir humming in approval beside her.
"Very well then, I have a surprise for you. But let's go home first." Ash said, a knowing smirk spreading across his face.
"Well, then what are we waiting for?" Gardevoir said, and as she spoke, the shadows around them came to life. They expanded and swallowed the group. For a moment, everything went dark, but when the darkness faded, Ash found himself standing inside his home.
"It'll take some time to get used to that." Ash shuddered slightly.
Gardevoir had apparently discovered she could instantly travel through the Shadow Realm to any place that had shadows. She could bring anyone with her, and, if necessary, trap an enemy within it. The sensation of traveling through the realm felt strange to Ash in his human form, but his Nephilim nature made the oddness much more bearable.
Delia came out of the kitchen, wearing an apron. "Ash, you're back already? It'll take some time for lunch to be ready." She said apologetically, knowing how much her son loved food.
Ash felt a slight pang of disappointment but quickly smiled. "It's fine, Mom. I've got something else to do anyway."
"Alright then." Delia nodded and returned to the kitchen as Ash held two unprimed Luxury Balls in his hand.
"Does this mean...?" Gardevoir asked, her eagerness clear in her voice.
"Yep, you're finally going to be my official Pokémon!" Ash grinned, tossing the balls toward them. Just before they made contact with Gardevoir and Eilie, the balls primed, glowing briefly.
The two Pokémon were sucked into the Luxury Balls with a bright golden flash. The balls didn't shake at all before they dinged, indicating a smooth, successful capture.
Ash picked up the two balls and released his Pokémon. "So, how did it feel inside?" He asked with a curious glance.
"It felt nice, but I prefer staying outside with all of you. It's comfortable, but kind of lonely in there." Gardevoir responded, with Eilie nodding in agreement. Pikachu, sensing the sentiment, understood exactly how they felt.
"That's completely fine. I wasn't planning on keeping you locked up inside anyway." Ash chuckled, relieved to see they were happy to be out and with him.
"Let's get you guys officially registered!" Ash said, smiling as his Pokémon nodded enthusiastically. With a quick gesture, he recalled them into their Luxury Balls.
Afterward, Ash went up to his room to change into his usual outfit. Once ready, he headed out to Professor Oak's lab with Pikachu perched on his shoulder, both of them looking forward to making it official.
Ash knocked on the lab door, hearing a familiar voice call out, "Come in!"
Opening the door, he was greeted by the sight of Daisy Oak, Professor Oak's granddaughter and Gary's older sister. She gave him a polite smile, balancing a hefty stack of papers in her arms.
"Thank you for coming just in time, Ash!" Daisy said with a slight chuckle, gesturing to the towering pile of documents.
"Don't mention it, Miss Daisy!" Ash replied, quickly stepping aside and holding the door open for her.
She smiled in gratitude as she passed through. "Always the gentleman," she commented with a grin before heading out, leaving Ash to close the door behind her.
Ash moved deeper into the lab, finding Professor Oak leaning back in his chair, casually slurping up a bowl of ramen—definitely not his usual research mode. The sight made Ash's stomach grumble, catching Oak's attention.
"Oh, Ash! What brings you here?" Oak asked, swallowing the last bite.
Ash grinned, scratching his head. "Oh, you know, our theory exams just wrapped up, and we're gearing up for practicals. I'd rather not use the school's Poké Balls, so I brought my own for registration."
Oak nodded. "Got it. I'll get them registered for you. So…what Pokémon did you catch this time?"
Ash chuckled, handing over two Luxury Balls. "You'll find out in a second, won't you?"
As Oak took the Luxury Balls and began entering data into the lab machine, he looked up with a grin. "So, how's Pikachu treating you these days?"
"Oh, we're practically inseparable now. I'd even say it's destiny, right, Sammy?"
Oak flinched at the old nickname, blinking in surprise. "Ash…where did you hear that name?"
Ash shrugged with a smile. "You told me, remember?"
Oak's fingers hovered over the keyboard as he stared at the screen, his eyes wide with shock. "Ash…where on earth did you get a fully evolved shiny from Hoenn and a baby Legendary from Kalos?" he asked, his voice a mix of awe and disbelief.
He didn't even realize he was still rattled from hearing Ash call him "Sammy," a nickname he hadn't mentioned to anyone in years—and certainly not to Ash. That strange familiarity Ash displayed wasn't just unsettling; it was downright eerie.
Ash leaned back with a faint smile, noting the disbelief in Oak's expression. "Well, like I said, I have a knack for getting into legendary-level trouble. These two were… let's just say, part of that package."
Oak, still processing, only grew more curious, his brows knitted in concern and confusion. "Ash...that familiarity, the nickname—you've never known me as 'Sammy.' Are you really my Ash?"
"Oh, yes I am, I got stuck in my past body, ended up here to prevent the world from, well…utter destruction. It's pretty routine at this point, wouldn't you say?" Ash could confidently say that because from what he read his future time travel atleast twice, once by the Gaurdian of Time the other by the Ruler of Time the name of these legendaries were not mentioned.
Oak put his head in his hands, fully processing this revelation. "Alright I believe you…tell me everything. Right now."
"It's Team Rocket. You know the school I go to?" Ash asked.
"The Viridian Academy, yes!" Oak nodded.
"Well, its principal is Giovanni—the big bad boss of Team Rocket!" Ash said, sending another shock through the old professor.
"The Viridian Gym Leader is the boss of an international criminal organization?" Oak asked, his disbelief evident.
"Oh, he sure is—and he's as pathetic as they come," Ash replied. "The academy isolates and bullies its top students, and then Team Rocket steps in as their 'rescuers' to recruit them. I've been snooping around, but I know I can't take on someone like Giovanni alone."
"I'll help you," Oak said, his voice firm, "but what exactly threatens the world?"
Ash took a deep breath. "In about 20 years, Team Rocket will perfect something they've been working on: a new, artificial type called the Blood type. Pokémon with this type grow stronger by devouring humans. And that's not all—they'll create a new Mewtwo, stronger than ever. It wasn't easy to defeat him."
Oak's face turned pale, but Ash continued. "Like something straight out of a horror movie, this Mewtwo turned on them. It killed every human and Pokémon on earth. I had to go back in time just to take it down." 'as they say the best lie is a half truth' Ash thought.
"Just by being here, I've already changed the timeline, so who knows how much that information still matters," Ash said, "but one thing's certain: Viridian City—and anything under Giovanni's control—is under Team Rocket's thumb."
Oak regarded him thoughtfully. "So, what was your plan if I didn't believe you? I'm still a League official, and accusing another official of leading a criminal organization is a huge risk."
Ash gave a confident smirk. "I wouldn't have told you if I didn't think you'd believe me. Plus, I have a Legendary in my possession—I could've figured out some way to expose them."
Oak sighed, shaking his head at Ash's determination.
Time skip
Ash returned to his room after lunch, pulling open his closet. From inside, he selected a stylish black leather jacket, black jeans, and a neck gaiter mask—his latest go-to disguise.
In the past few months, he and Serena had started slipping into disguises whenever they went to Unova. It was partly practical; after all, running into someone from Unova who recognized them could get awkward. Sure, the chances were low, but they both liked the extra layer of caution. Plus, it was fun. There was something thrilling about cosplaying as someone else.
Once Ash slipped on his disguise, he settled into his chair and powered up his computer. As he placed the call, he knew who'd be answering. Sure enough, Serena's face appeared on screen immediately. She was dressed in a matching disguise, but in her case, her jacket and pants were white, with a contrasting black mask.
"Hey, White! Missed you," Ash said, his grin hidden behind his mask.
Serena raised an eyebrow, amused. "I missed you too…but do we really have to go by colors?"
Ash smirked, tilting his head. "Would you prefer 'Truth' then?"
After a brief moment, Serena chuckled. "Now that I think about it, maybe our color code isn't so bad."
Ash lifted his card with a playful smirk. "Ready?"
Serena mirrored the gesture with her own card. Pikachu leapt onto Ash's shoulder, and with a flash, they both vanished.
They reappeared moments later in a room at the Pokémon Center in Castelia City.
"So, today we're tackling our third gym challenge," Serena confirmed.
Ash nodded, already feeling the thrill of their next battle.
"Where are Gardevoir and Eilie? Usually, they're glued to you like they're stuck with ultra-super glue," Serena teased.
As if on cue, the two Luxury Balls on Ash's waist opened with a flash, releasing Gardevoir and Eilie. Both Pokémon appeared beside him, their expressions filled with quiet amusement.
"Guess they heard you," Ash chuckled, shooting Serena an amused look as Gardevoir and Eilie both gave her an approving nod.
Serena laughed, shaking her head. "Seems they don't like missing out, even for a second."
"You know, A—uh, I mean Black?" Serena started, catching herself with a small grin.
"Yeah?" Ash replied, oblivious to the glances shared behind him.
"I just wish we could spend more time together… more than just the six hours we get every day. I really wish I could, y'know, actually sleep with you here," Serena admitted wistfully, her gaze softening.
"Yeah, I'd really love to sleep with you too!" Ash answered earnestly, nodding without a hint of hesitation.
Behind them, Pikachu, Servine, Gardevoir, and Eilie struggled to contain their laughter. Gardevoir was the first to recover, shaking her head in fond exasperation. Here was her dad, a fierce battler and unyielding strategist, who could outwit practically anyone—yet when it came to romance, he was completely clueless.
Eilie exchanged a smirk with Gardevoir, whispering, "One day, he'll understand... maybe."
The four Pokémon shared an amused glance, quietly rooting for their trainers to realize just what they were missing.
"Dad, you should tell her about your new dimension!" Gardevoir reminded, nudging Ash's arm.
"Oh, yeah! Serena, you've gotta see this!" Ash's eyes lit up, and in an instant, a shimmering colorless dome formed over them. As if they were fading from existence, they vanished from the Pokémon Center room, only to reappear in a lush, tropical setting.
Ash spread his arms, gesturing at the vibrant paradise around them. "Welcome to my personal dimension! Right now, we're on the planet… Asholm."
Serena's jaw dropped as she took in the stunning landscape. "Wait, you own this whole planet?"
Ash grinned behind his mask, unable to contain the pride in his voice. "Not just the planet. I own this entire universe. There's no one else here except us and whoever I bring onto Asholm."
Ash pulled down his mask, revealing his Nephilim features, his eyes glinting with confidence. The mix of pride and a bit of smugness in his expression made Serena's cheeks flush a rosy pink.
Pikachu, watching the two from the side, wiped a playful tear. "Lil bro Ash has leveled up his charm game. I'm so proud!"
"While we're here, our original dimension keeps running as normal," Ash explained with a hint of pride. "But I'm literally the god of this world. Here, I can't die as long as I have mana, and I can pretty much do anything by using it. I've set time so that one microsecond on Earth equals one full day here."
Serena's eyes lit up, and she bounced on her heels in excitement. "So… we can spend as much time as we want?"
"Yup! Plus—" Ash gestured, and a system window materialized right in front of her:
————————————————————————
You've been granted permission to enter Ash's personal dimension any time you want!
You've gained the item: Ash's Personal Dimension Key!
————————————————————————
Serena squealed, leaping forward and hugging him so tight he almost lost his breath. "You are so amazing, Ash!" she exclaimed, her voice brimming with happiness.
Serena released him, giving Ash a moment to catch his breath. Pikachu, with a mischievous grin, chimed in, "You should show her that new scar! Every girl likes a battle-hardened look on their guy!"
Ash chuckled and nodded.
"Y'know," Serena said playfully, "I'm kinda jealous you can understand all Pokémon properly!"
"Don't worry. I'm sure we'll get you the same ability soon," Ash reassured her. "But for now, I've got something to show you."
"Oh?" Serena's curiosity piqued. "What is it?"
"This." Ash swiftly removed his jacket and shirt, revealing a lean, muscular figure. A long, jagged scar ran horizontally across his chest, adding a rugged intensity to his usual look.
Serena's cheeks flushed a bright shade of red as he removed his shirt, but her embarrassment quickly shifted to concern when she noticed the scar. Without hesitation, she reached out and gently traced it with her fingers, her touch soft and careful.
"Ash, what happened to you? Does it hurt? Are you okay? Is there anywhere else you're hurt?" Serena's words tumbled out as she ran her hands over his chest, her worry evident.
Her touch sent a pleasant shiver down Ash's spine, but he managed a reassuring smile.
Ash held Serena by the shoulders, tilting her face up to meet his intense blue gaze. With a gentle motion, he pulled down her mask, revealing her flushed cheeks.
"Serena, I'm fine. I'm not hurt anymore," he said firmly. "This scar—it happened in that dungeon I told you about. Just this morning, we faced the final boss, and…well, that's where I got it. But I promise, I'm okay now."
Serena looked down, then suddenly wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly and burying her face against his chest. Ash could feel her sniffling, and he wrapped his arms around her, comforting her as best he could.
"You're taking me with you next time," Serena mumbled, her voice muffled.
"Huh?"
She pulled back just enough to look him in the eye, her face determined. "You're taking me with you the next time you go into a dungeon."
Ash hesitated. "But…it's dangerous, Serena. You could get hurt in there!"
His resolve, however, didn't last long. Serena deployed her ultimate weapon—the infamous puppy-dog eyes, complete with a pout and those big, pleading sapphire eyes that made his heart skip a beat. He sighed, feeling his defenses crumbling.
"Fine," he relented, "but I'm training you first. You're not going in there until I'm sure you're ready."
"Yay!" Serena cheered, then impulsively leaned in and pecked him on the lips. Ash's face flared bright red, and Serena giggled, blushing herself.
Some distance away, Pikachu was grinning with satisfaction—this was exactly the outcome he'd been rooting for. Beside him, Servine and Eilie looked thrilled as well, though Gardevoir watched the scene with a hint of envy, her expression stiff as she held back her reaction.
But then, a crackling sound filled the air, the distinct hum of electricity growing louder. They all glanced up to see Zekrom flying toward them, arcs of electricity coursing along his form.
Zekrom's arrival snapped Ash out of his daze. "Hey, Zekrom!"
"Am I... interrupting something?" Zekrom asked, a little awkwardly, as he took in Ash's half-undressed state and Serena's flushed face.
"No, not at all! You actually came at the perfect time," Ash said, quickly pulling his shirt back on while Serena looked away, a bit disappointed.
"Serena, why don't you let your Pokémon out here?" Ash suggested, a smile spreading across his face. "I'm planning on keeping our Pokémon here so we can start catching more. And since you have that key, you can always join me here with your team."
Serena nodded, cheeks still a touch pink. Reaching into her bag, she pulled out two Poké Balls—one regular and one Ultra Ball. With a smooth toss, Serena released her Pokémon. Liepard appeared first, her form sleek and graceful, with a luxurious coat of purple fur dappled with striking yellow rosettes. She stretched, her lithe muscles rippling beneath her fur, her golden eyes flashing as she surveyed the tropical island around her with an air of elegance and curiosity.
Then, in a brilliant burst of blue light, Reshiram emerged. Towering over the group, Reshiram's majestic, dragon-like form was draped in pure white feathers, accentuated by soft, silver-gray markings along her wings and tail. Her brilliant blue eyes held a calm but fierce intelligence as she took in the landscape, the fiery turbine at the end of her tail glowing softly. Her presence radiated warmth, and a gentle, almost divine aura emanated from her as she settled beside Serena, protective yet regal.
Zekrom greeted Reshiram with a nod. "Hello, Reshiram."
Reshiram returned the greeting, her tone as cautious as his. "Hello, Zekrom."
Ash shook his head with a laugh. "Come on, you two. Zekrom, be a good boy and show Reshiram the Dragon Pillar."
Zekrom hesitated, glancing between Ash and Reshiram. "But, Master—"
"As I've told you," Ash said firmly, "the Dragon Pillar is for all future dragon-types. No one's the leader there but us."
Reluctantly, Zekrom nodded.
"Dragon Pillar?" Serena's eyes sparkled with curiosity.
Ash grinned. "It's a massive pillar out in the ocean. I made it to be a home for all our dragons. A sanctuary just for them."
"That's so cool! You're amazing, Ash—I'd love to see it!" Serena said excitedly.
At this, both Zekrom and Reshiram immediately turned to Ash and Serena, each bowing slightly. "May I have the honor of carrying Master and Mistress?" they both offered simultaneously. Their eyes narrowed as they shot each other a fierce glare.
Ash laughed and shook his head. "You two really are like bickering kids!"
"He started it!" "She started it!" they said in unison, each pointing an accusatory claw at the other.
Serena chuckled. "You two act like siblings! But you're even closer than that—you're basically one and the same. You should really try to get along."
Zekrom and Reshiram exchanged a sheepish glance and bowed their heads, their rivalry momentarily silenced.
Ash cleared his throat, suddenly flustered. "Besides… Serena is mine—I mean, uh, these wings on my back aren't just for show! I can carry her myself!"
Before Serena could react, Ash swept her into a princess carry, and without another word, launched into the air, leaving his Pokémon grinning and sharing knowing glances.

Reshiram and Zekrom quickly took flight, gliding behind them through the clear sky. Eilie joined them, gracefully soaring with Pikachu, Servine, and Gardevoir perched on her back. The Pokémon shared a sense of excitement and happiness, with only Gardevoir's expression clouded by an unspoken tension. She remained quiet, focusing on a Calm Mind to keep her feelings in check as she watched her dad hold Serena close.
It didn't make sense. Before she evolved, she'd been thrilled whenever Ash showed Serena affection, even thinking of Serena as her mom. But now, a strange pang of discomfort gnawed at her whenever they were together. Pikachu sensed her turmoil, casting a supportive glance her way but deciding to let her process it in her own time. He knew Gardevoir would talk about it when she was ready.

Ash glided smoothly just above the majestic obsidian pillar, his first creation on this world. Serena's eyes widened as she took in the sight of the towering structure, its sleek black surface shimmering like polished glass, catching the last rays of sunlight. At the top, an intricately carved dragon's maw seemed almost alive, glowing faintly in the dusk.
"Wait—the sun's setting already?" Serena asked in surprise.
"Yeah," Ash replied with a slight smile. "This universe has nearly everything ours does—the same galaxies, the same stars, even the same planetary systems. But there's one catch."
She turned to look directly into his eyes, curiosity lighting up her face. He had a fleeting thought about how striking her eyes were before continuing, "Everything here is only 10% the scale of our original universe. That's why this planet's smaller, why it orbits the sun so quickly. And it's why the island we were on earlier is the only real landmass here. So on one side, it'll be day, and on the other, will be night, so if we want we can always stay in the day time or night time."
Serena's gaze drifted back to the obsidian pillar, her awe deepening as she processed this strange, miniature universe. "That's... incredible," she murmured, captivated by the possibilities.
"It is." Ash murmured in agreement as their pokemon joined them."
