Ash and Serena reappeared in the Pokémon Center room as if materializing from thin air, both back in their disguises as Black and White.

"That was the best experience of my life!" Serena exclaimed, still exhilarated from their adventure.

Ash shot her a cocky grin, barely hidden by his mask. "Stick with me, and you'll get to experience even better things!"

Before he could even register it, Serena wrapped her arms around him from behind, pulling him close. "Don't let it go to your head, Ash. I'm sticking with you no matter what," she whispered into his ear, sending a chill down his spine.

Ash's face turned bright red as Serena's fingers slipped through the unruly black locks of his human form.

"Is this… what they call flirting?" Eilie asked excitedly, now appearing in her Gardevoir form. Meanwhile, Gardevoir herself watched the scene with clenched fists and gritted teeth, feeling a mix of emotions she couldn't quite explain.

Pikachu smirked knowingly. "Yup, it sure is! Another step in the right direction."

Ash cleared his throat, flustered. "W-we should get going!" he managed, his voice a bit shaky.

Pikachu immediately burst into fits of uproarious laughter. "This—haha—this is priceless! Ash Ketchum! My brother who can take down hordes of mutants without flinching, who can literally take a hit to the chest and get back up like it's nothing—actually stuttered!"

His laughter was infectious, and soon every Pokémon joined in, even Gardevoir hiding a giggle behind her hand.

Ash and Serena either chose to ignore the laughter or were too caught up in their own moment to notice. As Serena released him, he felt a pang of disappointment as her warmth faded. She recalled her Servine and Liepard, while Eilie transformed into an intricate black and red ring with a teal pearl as her eye, settling on his finger to avoid having her vision obstructed by his jacket sleeve.

"Alright! Let's beat some gym leader ass!" Gardevoir declared, confidently grabbing Ash's hand. Her mood had visibly lifted, though she was determined to reclaim her dad's affection—and only that, she assured herself—as Pikachu took his rightful spot on Ash's shoulder.

As Ash and Serena entered Castelia City Gym, they were immediately greeted by a stylish reception room. The walls were adorned with vibrant artwork showcasing legendary battles from the past, and a large desk sat at the center where a friendly receptionist with a bright smile welcomed them. Comfortable chairs were scattered around the room, allowing challengers to relax before their upcoming battles.

"Hey there, cutie! Here to challenge the gym, or are you here to take my number?" The receptionist, appearing only a few years older than them, greeted Ash in a flirty manner. She didn't even notice Serena or Gardevoir, both of whom were glaring at her with an unmistakable murderous aura. Gardevoir's dress had turned completely black, and the shadows around her seemed to take on a life of their own.

"The challenge, please!" Ash quickly blurted out, sensing the building tension between the girls. He briefly wished he could turn off his natural ability to attract attention from the opposite sex. Squeezing Gardevoir's hand reassuringly, he grabbed Serena's hand to calm her down.

"Okay, okay, challenge it is! But just so you know, all gyms have a puzzle to get to the leader. If you mess up, you'll get a swarmy surprise!" The receptionist said, her voice a bit too playful for Ash's liking.

"Thank you!" Ash said hurriedly, leading Serena and Gardevoir away.

"Toodles!" The receptionist called out, but Ash and his group were already on their way, disappearing into the main chamber of the maze.

Ash sighed in relief as they moved further into the maze. Once the receptionist was out of sight, the tension seemed to fade. Gardevoir's dress slowly returned to its usual elegant shade, and Serena's expression softened, though there was still a faint frown on her face.

"That was... a lot," Ash muttered, rubbing the back of his neck. "I swear, it's like I can't escape attention sometimes."

"I know," Serena chuckled softly. "That woman was definitely... over the top. But hey, we're free of her now."

Gardevoir, who had been hovering close beside Ash, crossed her arms, a small, possessive frown on her face. The shadows that lingered around her seemed to shift uneasily, reflecting her feelings. "I don't understand why she acted like that. He's mine." Gardevoir used her telepathy so Serena could also understand stand her.

Serena gave her a teasing smile, gently linking arms with Ash. "Don't worry, Gardevoir. I think we all know who Black belongs to."

Ash smiled sheepishly, looking from Serena to Gardevoir. "Let's just focus on the battle. We've got a gym challenge ahead of us."

Gardevoir's mood seemed to lighten, the possessiveness fading as she nodded. "I'm ready," she said, her expression serious now. "Let's win this."

"Right," Ash grinned, feeling his usual surge of confidence. "Let's go, team!"

As they ventured deeper into the maze, the sound of buzzing reached their ears. Ash smirked. "Looks like we're in for a real challenge."

"Bring it on!" Serena cheered, adjusting the strap of her bag and preparing herself for whatever lay ahead.

Gardevoir, still a little possessive but eager for the challenge, smiled darkly. "No one will stand in our way, Father."

Ash chuckled. "Let's do this."

As Ash, Serena, and their Pokémon ventured deeper into the maze, a buzzing sound began to fill the air. Soon, a Vespiquen and ten Combees appeared, their eyes fixed on the group with an unmistakable intent to attack.

Vespiquen had a striking, mostly black and yellow body, with a smooth, segmented exoskeleton. Her large thorax was covered in alternating yellow and black stripes, giving her a commanding, almost regal appearance. A small, rounded head crowned with a distinctive structure sat atop her body, and her glowing red eyes added to the intimidating vibe. Her amber-tinted, translucent wings buzzed in the air with authority. The most threatening feature of Vespiquen was the long, sharp stinger at the back of her abdomen, a clear warning to any who dared approach too closely. Beneath her body were small, sturdy legs, and her overall insectoid shape radiated an air of power and dominance.

Combee, on the other hand, was much smaller, its round orange body segmented into three distinct parts, each marked with yellow hexagonal patterns resembling honeycomb. Its face was simple, with large, dark eyes that gave it a cute yet focused appearance. Tiny antennae adorned the top of its head, and delicate, translucent wings with a faint yellow hue fluttered rapidly behind it. Agile and nimble, Combee moved in a fast, buzzing swarm, ready to strike as a group if necessary.

"Are we allowed to... y'know, kill them?" Serena asked, her voice hesitant but with a touch of curiosity.

Before Ash could answer, a loudspeaker they hadn't noticed blared to life, the sound echoing through the gym. Beside the speaker was a camera, which turned toward them.

"Yes, you may eliminate them. The Castelia City Gym oversees the extermination and utilization of overpopulated wild Bug- and Grass-type Pokémon found throughout Unova. We use them as obstacles for gym challengers," a synthetic voice announced, its tone cold and indifferent.

Serena glanced at Ash. "Black, may I?" she asked, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"As my lady commands!" Ash responded dramatically, stepping aside with a grand bow.

Serena chuckled, her smile playful as she reached over to pat his head. "Good servant. I've trained you well!" she teased, her words causing an instant blush to rise on Ash's cheeks.

"Hey, I'm nobody's servant!" Ash protested, though his indignation quickly faded into embarrassment.

"We'll see about that..." Serena mouthed, her eyes sparkling as she winked at Ash, then turned to face her awaiting opponents.

Ash, still red-faced, read her lips and turned to Pikachu, who was lounging comfortably on his shoulder, a self-satisfied smirk on his face as though he'd orchestrated something.

"Pikachu, you have to tell me—what does that mean?" Ash asked, his tone mixed with confusion and curiosity.

"Oh, look! Your girl just made her move!" Pikachu replied, his grin widening as he saw Ash get distracted.

Behind Ash, Gardevoir almost let out a growl of frustration but quickly caught herself and used Calm mind.

Serena's Liepard and Servine were already in action. Her Dark-type partner had one of the Combee minions in her claws, tearing it apart effortlessly with a brutal swipe. Pieces of the creature scattered, a dark gleam in Liepard's eyes showing she wasn't holding back.

Nearby, Servine's vines lashed out, ensnaring three more Combee at once. She tightened her grip, letting her vines wrap and constrict until the familiar sound of exoskeletons crunching echoed. From the gaps in her vine grip, a mix of purple blood and honey seeped, dripping down in a chillingly sweet mixture.

The Vespiquen shrieked, and the six remaining Combee quickly assembled into a honeycomb-like formation, buzzing in unison to create a sound so piercing it seemed to vibrate through bone. The horrid, grating noise could make anyone's ears bleed.

Ash and his Pokémon, far above the level of an average Pokémon, were able to withstand it—but Serena and her team weren't so fortunate. Seeing her distress, Ash swiftly channeled his Water of Purification to his palms, covering her ears to block the worst of it while still allowing her to hear him.

Both Servine and Liepard staggered, flinching in agony, the Bug-type attack hitting them hard due to their vulnerabilities. Liepard, with her hypersensitive ears, was hit the hardest; it only took a few seconds before she passed out from the pain.

"Servine! Liepard!" Serena rushed to her fallen Pokémon, her voice filled with worry. Ash handed her a Max Revive and a Full Restore.

"Here, use these," he said with a reassuring smile.

"Thank you!" she replied, quickly giving Liepard the Max Revive and spraying Servine with the Full Restore.

Serena sighed, visibly frustrated. "That was... intense. I wish I'd been more prepared."

"Hey, don't be so hard on yourself. You were up against a huge disadvantage." Ash tried to reassure her.

"But you always say that if you're skilled enough, type advantages don't matter," Serena said with a bittersweet grin.

"True, but this wasn't just a simple type mismatch. You were facing eleven opponents, and six of them attacked in perfect sync with Bug Buzz, amplifying each other's strength under Vespiquen's command. That's no small feat."

He placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "And besides, don't give up until it's over." He said with a grin. "Use what you're best at—stealth and ambush tactics. Liepard and Servine are natural hunters. Make it work for you."

Serena's confidence returned as she nodded with a determined smile, and Liepard meowed her agreement, newly revived and ready to fight.

Serena scanned the maze, but the Vespiquen and her Combee were nowhere in sight.

"They ran off. You want to chase them down, or—" Ash began, only to be interrupted by Serena's eager response.

"I want to hunt!" she exclaimed, a grin mirroring Ash's own bloodthirsty smirk hidden beneath her mask.

"Heh, then I'll let you lead the way," Ash replied, his own grin sharp with excitement.

Liepard sniffed the air, catching the faint scent of the bug-types. Once on the trail, she dashed forward, slipping through the twists and turns of the maze with practiced ease, her trainers right behind her.

As they approached an open area in the maze, Liepard abruptly halted, and Ash and Serena came to a stop as well. They peered ahead, where hundreds of Combee swarmed, buzzing in unison, and more than a few Vespiquen loomed among them.

"That's not normal," Ash murmured, observing the strange gathering. "Usually, if two Vespiquen cross paths, they'll go to war. They never cooperate like this. Looks like we might need to take action."

Serena exhaled in relief, clearly eager for the go-ahead.

"Pika—" Ash started, but Gardevoir stepped forward before he could finish.

"Let me handle it, Dad," she said softly, and the shadows around them seemed to ripple and twist in response.

Ash raised an eyebrow, then nodded. "Alright, just leave a few for Serena's hunt, will you?" he said, and Gardevoir nodded in understanding, the darkness pulsing around her as she prepared to clear the way.

"Use Blazing Magical Leaf Storm!" Ash commanded.

Gardevoir's eyes glowed, and with a graceful motion, she summoned a towering tornado of shimmering leaves that filled the chamber. As the leaves whirled faster, each one ignited, transforming the spiral of foliage into a blazing inferno of fiery death.

The swarm of bugs froze, entranced by the deadly beauty of the flaming vortex. But their awe quickly shifted to panic as each fiery leaf broke away, homing in on its target. One by one, the Combee and Vespiquen fell, unable to escape the relentless storm.

When the last ember faded, only one Vespiquen and her six Combee remained, quivering in shock. They barely registered as Liepard and Servine sprang into action, dispatching the remaining bugs with swift precision, leaving streaks of purple blood mingled with sticky honey across the floor.

Satisfied, Servine dug into the fresh remains, while Liepard sniffed one of the corpses and wrinkled her nose in distaste. She wasn't one for eating bugs.

"Let's find that Gym Leader!" Ash said enthusiastically. But just as they turned, a speaker crackled to life.

"Ahem, I am Burgh, the Castelia City Gym Leader. Given the... thoroughness of your performance, you both have already met my standards for a Gym Badge. Please meet me in the reception area." His voice echoed through the speakers, a bit strained.

"Well, let's do as the man says!" Ash said, and they retraced their path through the maze.

When Ash, Serena, and their Pokémon returned to the reception area, they were met by Burgh himself, standing with a slightly pained smile. Behind him, the receptionist gave Ash a quick wave, making his skin crawl.

"I'm Burgh, the Gym Leader here," he introduced himself.

Burgh had shoulder-length, messy green hair and a red scarf. His outfit—a fitted green jacket with orange and brown accents—paired with dark pants and shoes, gave him an artistic, vibrant look that matched his love for Bug-types.

"Hello, I'm Black, and this is White," Ash said, introducing himself and Serena.

With a tense smile and a throbbing vein on his forehead, Burgh handed them each an Insect Badge, a TM for Struggle Bug, and prize money. "Here you go. Two Insect Badges, two TMs, and your reward money."

It was clear he'd been rattled. Gardevoir's seamless triple-move combination, blending types and power, was a feat Burgh knew even elites and specialists struggled to achieve. He knew he wouldn't stand a chance and, truthfully, was more eager to get back to his art than to face such an impossible battle.

'Nice, an easy Gym challenge and no Team Plasma drama!' Ash thought, feeling a sense of relief as Serena led him through the bustling shopping district of Castelia City. Her hand was firmly clasped in his, while Gardevoir held the other with a gentle grasp. They'd both told him they didn't want to get lost in the crowded streets, though Ash suspected there might be more to it than that. Either way, he was just happy to be spending time with them.

He was absentmindedly scanning the area when a familiar sight caught his eye—a Plasma grunt in his usual uniform. Ash's body froze, his expression hardening. The warmth in his eyes vanished, replaced by cold, icy resolve.

"Plasma," he muttered, his voice low and deadly.

Gripping Serena's hand tighter, Ash pulled her and Gardevoir into a narrow alleyway. With a quick mental command, Ash activated one of his racial abilities, Invisibility. As long as someone remained in contact with him, they would become invisible too. Serena, Gardevoir, and Pikachu were hidden along with him, shrouded from the world's view.

Silently, they moved through the crowd, following the grunt as he slipped through the streets and into a shadowed alley. There, the grunt met another figure—this one dressed in a dark green hoodie with a surgical mask, his face hidden.

"Hey, Tobio!" the masked man sneered. "Brought me another test subject, huh?"

"It's shiny, so I'll need more than usual," Tobio replied, his grin widening in greed. "You got the cash?"

"I know how you like to... play with them before delivery," the man said, his tone dark with malice. "How damaged is it? Gotta assess its full value."

Tobio chuckled darkly. "Fine, I'll tell ya. It's a rare one—an Eevee. Tried to bite and run, so I bit back and broke all its legs. And those eyes…" He paused, a sick smirk spreading across his face. "I had to take one for myself."

The masked man gave a low, cruel laugh. "Not too bad compared to the others you've brought me. But… did you?"

Serena and Ash exchanged a glance, both of them sensing the vile implication. Pikachu bristled, his fur standing on end. Gardevoir's eyes flashed with an almost predatory rage. Ash's fists clenched, and Serena instinctively pressed herself closer to him, despite the invisibility.

Tobio made a dismissive gesture. "Nah, figured one of your rich customers might pay extra for an unused 'toy.' It's the only thing that little scrap's good for. I've got my other Pokémon for that." His hood slipped back, revealing a face that made Serena's stomach twist in horror.

It was hideous, twisted by scars and malice, a face so distorted it seemed to ooze cruelty.

Serena's breath caught in her throat. She instinctively hid behind Ash, a fleeting moment of weakness that revealed her fear. She couldn't put it into words, but this felt different—this wasn't the fight she was used to. She had been prepared to face wild Pokémon, even ferals, but the cruelty these men displayed made her stomach churn.

Ash, sensing her discomfort, stood tall, his presence a shield. The warmth returned to his eyes, but his voice was still cold, steely with determination. "We'll take them down when the time is right. Stay calm."

Gardevoir's voice cut through the tense silence like a blade. "Dad… let's kill them."

Pikachu's voice was low and dangerous, barely more than a growl. "No. They don't deserve the mercy of death."

The air thickened with the collective anger of the group. Gardevoir's psychic energy flared, her power a palpable force, as if the shadows around them were stirring in response to her wrath.

Ash gripped Serena's hand tightly, his other hand gently brushing against Gardevoir's. Despite the fury rising in him, he held back, knowing this was a moment where strategy was key, and he wouldn't risk their safety by acting too hastily.

Tobio reached for a Poké Ball, and Ash could feel the sheer pain emanating from whatever Pokémon was inside it. His compassionate side stirred, and he instinctively wanted to help. After all, his trait was Ruthless Compassion—he'd do whatever it took to end the suffering, even if it meant using extreme measures.

With a quiet sigh, Ash commanded, "Pikachu, restrain them!"

The moment the words left his lips, their invisibility faded, and the two men were instantly startled by the sudden presence. Before they could react, the shadows surrounding them came to life, moving as if with a mind of their own. They reached out and wrapped around the men's limbs, pinning them in place and gagging their mouths. Thanks to Pikachu's newly honed ability, Sector's Grasp, their own shadows betrayed them, immobilizing them completely.

The Poké Ball that Tobio had dropped rolled to Ash's feet. He stared at it for a moment, his eyes softening with sympathy as he knelt down to pick it up. But as soon as he touched it, his gaze hardened once more, turning cold and focused as he looked back at the two men writhing helplessly before him.

Pathetic.

He didn't say it aloud, but the word echoed in his mind, his contempt for them palpable. They had no idea the mercy they were being shown.

"Alright, guys, let's head to my personal dimension," Ash said, his voice cold with resolve. A colorless dome enveloped them, and in an instant, they were transported to the tropical island of Asholm.

The scenery shifted, a vibrant landscape of lush greenery, white sand, and crystal-clear waters. It was a stark contrast to the grim task ahead, but the island was Ash's domain, his sanctuary.

"Gardevoir," Ash continued, his gaze steely, "I trust you to handle these scum properly."

Gardevoir smirked, her eyes glinting with malice as she cracked her knuckles. She walked toward the bound men with an eerie giggle that made the air feel colder. The two men, still trapped by their own shadows, shuddered in fear.

Ash, feeling the weight of his mission, allowed himself to return to his Nephilim form. With a fluid motion, he raised his hand, and a massive leaf grew from the sand. It was the size of a child and sturdy enough to support a person. The leaf shimmered briefly, as if alive, under Ash's divine influence.

Above him, a half halo materialized, faint but undeniable. It hovered over his head, granting him an aura of divine power that mixed with the remnants of his demonic essence. The transformation was subtle, but powerful—his divine powers surged, and his demonic side quieted.

A palm extended toward the leaf, and from his outstretched hand, the Water of Purification began to flow. Under the influence of the halo, the water shifted from its usual clear, blue form into something far more potent—True Holy Water. It rippled with an intensity that could heal wounds, cleanse curses, and restore those on the brink of death to their peak form.

The water didn't just heal—it purified, and it burned.

Ash looked down at the Poké Ball, feeling a grim weight settle in his chest as he sensed the suffering inside. With a steady hand, he pressed the button twice. A soft red light pulsed, and the ball clattered to the ground as a tiny, battered shiny Eevee materialized in his hands.

Her once-silver fur was now matted with grime and dried blood, and her frail body was covered in wounds that smelled of infection. Her legs lay twisted at unnatural angles, visibly broken. She blinked up at him with her one remaining silver eye, wide with terror and dull with despair. The poor creature looked like she'd long since given up hope.

Ash's heart ached at the sight. He let his body radiate a soft, soothing aura, the divine warmth meant to comfort her. As he did, the halo above his head intensified, glowing from 50% to 70%. His dark wing tips faded to white, the purity spreading inward until his wings were half-black, half-white. Pain began to pulse through him; as a Nephilim—a hybrid of angel and demon—he relied on a precise balance of both divine and demonic energy. Normally, he kept them equally balanced, but increasing his divine power like this threw him painfully out of sync. Even so, he didn't hesitate. Whatever discomfort he felt was nothing compared to the suffering this little Eevee had endured.

The Eevee's eye softened as his warmth surrounded her, a glimmer of hope rekindling in her gaze.

"You're safe now," Ash murmured, his voice steady. "You don't have to be afraid anymore. I'll protect you." he said as he removed his mask, and gave her a genle smile.

With the utmost care, he lowered her into the pool of True Holy Water. As her broken limbs touched the surface, the water shimmered and began its healing work. The grime and dried blood dissolved, her wounds sealed up, and her twisted legs straightened as her bones aligned and mended.

Ash watched, relieved, as the dullness left her eye, her spirit restored. Though her missing eye couldn't be replaced, her strength and will to survive had returned. He gave her a gentle smile, knowing she no longer had to suffer alone.

Ash winced as he coughed, blood staining his lips.

"Ash, what happened? Are you alright?" Serena's worry was evident.

"I'm fine, really," he reassured her. "I just need to balance my energies." Concentrating, his halo shifted to a calming pink, his wings transforming in response: the left turned pitch black, tipped with red feathers, while the right became pure white, flecked with hints of gold. Gradually, his energies fell into harmony.

"Pikachu, could you grab some Poké food from my bag?" Ash asked.

"Right!" Pikachu reached into the bag, producing a can of the homemade electric-type Poké food that Ash had prepared.

Ash took a few pieces of the food and held them out gently toward Eevee. Although her fear of him had faded, she still sniffed the food hesitantly, glancing up at him with uncertainty.

"Don't worry," Ash assured her with a warm smile. "I made it myself. From what I hear, it's pretty good."

"Yep! Ash is the best cook you'll ever meet!" Pikachu chimed in proudly.

Encouraged, the Eevee took a tentative bite, only to gasp in surprise and delight. "It's… really good. I've never had anything like this!" Her hesitation melted away as she took another bite, savoring each mouthful.

For perhaps the first time, she felt safe—able to let her guard down, knowing that someone was watching over her. A tear of happiness sparkled in her silver eye as she continued eating, finally feeling a glimmer of hope that her life could be different.

Ash's eyes glinted with a dangerous, almost bloodthirsty excitement as he turned to Eevee. "You wanna see what's happening to that vermin who did this to you?"

Eevee tilted her head, curiosity flickering in her singular silver eye. "Is… that ver-whatever hurting?" she asked, her voice soft yet tinged with a spark of satisfaction.

"Oh, most definitely!" Ash said, and as if on cue, a blood-curdling shriek echoed through the air.

Eevee's eyes widened, and an innocent smile morphed into something darker as she mimicked Ash's grin. "Then yes!"

Ash chuckled, picking up the small Eevee gently. As he held her, she was surrounded by a sphere of warm air, drying her fur into a soft, silvery fluff that made her look like a tiny ball of clouds resting in his hands.

Serena couldn't resist squealing at the sight, wanting so much to hug the little creature. But knowing Eevee's only trust was in Ash, she settled for admiring her from a respectful distance, her heart melting at Eevee's cuteness.

Ash walked towards where Gardevoir was carrying out her "interrogation."

Gardevoir had both men suspended in her psychic grip. The man in the green hoodie was trapped in a floating sphere of green liquid, submerged up to his neck. His mouth was sewn shut, and a shadowy Banette hammered nails of dark energy into his body, each one vanishing only to reappear moments later in another spot. The green liquid wasn't just any liquid—it was Life Dew, keeping him alive no matter how many shadow nails tore into his flesh.

Tobio, however, suffered worse. Smoke curled from his mouth where Gardevoir had burned his tongue off. His face was flayed, the skin peeled away to reveal raw muscle underneath. She was extracting his teeth one by one, each tug bringing silent, agonized screams that only his wide, horror-filled eyes could convey.

Serena recoiled, bile rising in her throat. "I think I'm going to be sick!" she said, her face pale.

Eevee, however, watched with a glint of satisfaction. "I like it. Do it more," she whispered, her voice icy and soft.

Pikachu, catching her words, gave a nod of approval, offering her a rare smile. Eevee looked up at him, her tiny face lighting up with a hesitant, pleased grin.

Ash turned to Serena, his expression softening slightly, though his tone was serious. "Serena, if you want to stay by my side in the dungeons, you'll need to get used to this. In those places, anything can, and will, try to take your life. By. Any. Means. And you'll have to be ready to do what it takes to survive—not by just commanding your Pokémon, but by fighting yourself. Will you still come, knowing I could be… a real monster?"

Though he tried to sound unaffected, Serena could sense a tremor of worry beneath his words. Ash was afraid she'd reject him.

She gave him a shaky smile, but her voice held steady resolve. "Ash, I told you I'd always be by your side. And if being with you means becoming a monster myself… then I'll gladly do it, as long as you're there."

Relief washed over Ash's face, and he smiled—a pure, angelic smile that quickly twisted into a fierce, demonic grin as he turned back to the tortured men.

Ash's entire being radiated an aura so malevolent that even the air around him seemed to thicken with hostility. He stood there, looking like a nightmare far worse than Gardevoir's ongoing torment of the two men. His piercing gaze alone seemed to strip away any last shreds of dignity they might have clung to, leaving them drowning in despair.

Suddenly, a system window materialized in front of Ash, breaking the tension for only a moment.

————————————————————————

Congratulations!

Due to the overwhelming aura of absolute maliciousness you are exuding, combined with the thoughts of gruesome deaths and tortures running through your mind, you have fulfilled the hidden conditions to acquire a signature Gamer skill.

You've gained the skill: Killing Intent (KI)

Killing Intent (KI): Paralyses enemies weaker than you simply by focusing your intent to kill on them. Phase one: Enemies 10 levels below you lose control of their bowels, succumbing to uncontrollable fear. Phase two: Enemies 15 levels below you fall unconscious, their minds overwhelmed by the crushing malice. Phase three: Enemies 30 levels below you instantly die, their will to live completely extinguished by your unrelenting aura.

————————————————————————

Ash smirked at the notification, his sharp teeth glinting slightly as he processed the implications. He could practically feel the weight of his new skill settle over him like a second skin. With just a glance, he could now reduce enemies to trembling wrecks—or worse.

He dismissed the system window with a flick of his hand and took a deliberate step closer to the restrained men. Even without actively using the skill, his raw intent alone made the air suffocating. Serena, Pikachu, and Eevee could feel it too, though they were safe from its effects. Eevee squirmed slightly in his arms, not from fear, but from excitement.

"Perfect," Ash said softly, his voice calm yet laced with an ominous undertone. "Now, I can make sure they feel the full weight of what they've done."

The two men whimpered as though they could already sense the new, horrifying force Ash now wielded. Gardevoir paused her tortures briefly to glance back at Ash, a sadistic grin forming as she noticed his heightened aura.

"Well, Dad," she said, her voice filled with pride, "looks like you've leveled up in more ways than one."

"Gardevoir, dear, please heal these bugs for me real quick, and let Daddy take charge," Ash said with a smirk, a small horn forming on the left side of his forehead. He secured Eevee comfortably in his right hand as his Advanced Magi-Mecha Wrist-mounted Crossbow materialized on his left.

"Right. Can I get a boost?" Gardevoir asked, forming a shimmering ball of Life Dew in her hand.

Ash nodded, summoning a swirling orb of red miasma in his palm. With a flick of his wrist, the malevolent energy shot into her Life Dew, turning its vibrant green hue into a sinister dark brown. The Shadow Banette, which had been relentlessly hammering shadow nails into the man in the green hoodie, retreated back into Gardevoir's shadow.

Gardevoir splashed the tainted Life Dew over the two criminals, causing them to collapse to the ground. The bubble of Life Dew surrounding the hooded man evaporated instantly. Instead of relief, however, their torment deepened—the demonic infusion amplified the healing process while twisting its pain-dulling properties into pure agony.

The hooded man thrashed and screamed as the stitches sealing his mouth tore apart, his shredded lips spilling blood and incoherent cries of torment. The sound was nothing short of horrific, each scream sending sharper waves of agony coursing through his body.

Meanwhile, Tobio, the primary culprit, began crawling away in a desperate bid to escape. Ash's smirk widened as he raised his crossbow, taking aim. In a blur of motion, four bolts of different energies launched simultaneously.

A searing red bolt impaled Tobio's left foot, pinning it to the ground with a hiss of burning flesh. An icy blue bolt froze his right foot in place, tendrils of frost creeping along the ground. A noxious, barbed bolt of venom embedded itself deep into his right hand, its jagged edges ripping through muscle with every slight movement. Finally, a bolt crackling with tainted lightning struck his left hand, sending paralyzing shocks through his nerves as it pinned him mercilessly.

Ash grinned darkly, admiring his handiwork, while the pathetic excuses for human life writhed in unrelenting pain.

Ash fixed his sharp gaze on the hooded man—no longer cloaked in anything but raw fear and pain. His voice was cold and commanding. "You will tell me everything you know, now."

The man, trembling uncontrollably, fell to his knees despite the agony the movement caused. The demonic pain amplifier coursing through his body made even the simplest motions unbearable, and his sobs echoed pitifully in the tense silence.

"M-my name is Nix," he stammered, his voice breaking with fear. "I'm just an assistant! I work for a scientist in Team Rocket—one of Kanto's criminal organizations. I-I smuggle rare Pokémon for him to experiment on. The leftovers... I sell them to the black market. Th-they go to rich sickos who are—who are either attracted to Pokémon or need chew toys for their Pokémon!"

He clutched his chest as his sobbing intensified, pleading desperately. "Please! I only do this for the money! I swear I'll stop! I have... I have five wives and—no, wait—five children and one wife! Please! Please let me go!"

Ash's piercing glare remained unrelenting as he listened to the man's babbling, his contempt growing with every word.

"I really don't care for your name, worm," Ash said coldly, his voice devoid of emotion. "Humans may be a lower species, but you are even beneath that. You and your accomplice are nothing but insects—insignificant, meaningless. And to top it off, you're associated with Team Rocket." His tone darkened, and his eyes narrowed. "I. Hate. Team Rocket."

The absolute lack of expression on Ash's face only intensified the terror radiating from the man. Unpredictability was the deadliest trait in an enemy, and Ash exuded it effortlessly.

"By killing you, I'd be doing your wife and children a favor," Ash continued. "You're a criminal and a failure of a person. All you would do is poison your offspring with your influence. Not having a father never hurt anyone—I'm living proof of that."

Despair washed over Nix as Ash's words sank in. His cries intensified into uncontrollable sobbing.

"But," Ash said, his tone softening just enough to reignite a flicker of hope, "you're not entirely useless to me. So, I'll let you live—for now. If you prove yourself worthy, I might even keep you around."

A serene, angelic smile spread across Ash's face as the horn on his forehead receded into his skin. A radiant, golden half-halo appeared above his head. With a wave of his hand, he aimed his palm at Nix and released a sphere of golden energy. It enveloped the man, instantly erasing all his pain and replacing it with an overwhelming sense of bliss.

"Thank you, Master! Thank you so much!" Nix cried, dropping to the ground and pressing his forehead against the dirt. He sobbed, this time in pure ecstasy.

Humans are so much easier to tame than Pokémon or animals, Ash thought with a smirk as he turned his back on the groveling excuse for a human being.

"That was awesome!" Eevee said in awe, her singular silver eye widening as she looked up at him.

Ash's heart softened, and a smile tugged at his lips. So cute! he thought, gently petting her head. "If you think that was awesome," he said with a playful smirk, "you've seen nothing yet."

"Woah!" she exclaimed, her awe-filled reaction earning a quiet chuckle from Ash.

"You degenerate Plasma scum, speak!" Ash demanded, his icy gaze boring into Tobio, daring him to defy the command.

Tobio's body trembled, sweat pouring down his face. His words were slurred and barely comprehensible, his tongue still raw from its recent healing. "Team Plasma won't take this lying down... they'll come for you all... and kill you!" he spat, though his bravado was undercut by his shivering and the immense pain coursing through his body.

Ash's expression remained unyielding, his disdain palpable. From his palm, a whip materialized, formed from the Water of Purification. But this was no ordinary weapon—it ignited with Chaos Flames, a blend of destruction and purification coiled into one.

Without hesitation, Ash lashed the whip across Tobio's back, the sound of the crack reverberating through the air. Tobio howled in agony as the chaotic flames seared his flesh, leaving a wound that immediately closed over. However, the pain lingered—burning, relentless, unceasing. He writhed in vain, his pinned limbs adding to his torment every time he moved.

Eevee's silver eye gleamed with delight, a smile of pure satisfaction spreading across her face. "Yes, more! Hit it more!" she laughed, her voice brimming with a twisted glee born of long-suppressed trauma.

Ash obliged, each strike of the whip tearing through what remained of Tobio's Plasma uniform. His back was soon a charred, blackened mess, the remnants of his flesh rendered unrecognizable. Tobio's screams grew hoarse before his vocal cords finally gave out, leaving him to emit nothing but raspy breaths as he convulsed in silent agony.

Eevee giggled uncontrollably, her laughter ringing out like a child enjoying a long-awaited justice. Despite the horrific scene, Ash didn't feel joy or satisfaction from the act itself. Torture was not his nature, but if it brought some semblance of peace and happiness to the little, broken Pokémon in his arms, then it was a price he was willing to pay.

"Gardevoir, Life Dew!" Ash commanded sharply. Gardevoir nodded, forming a blob of glowing green liquid in her hand and tossing it toward the tortured man. Before it reached him, Ash infused the Life Dew with his divine energy, amplifying its potency. The liquid enveloped Tobio, and his wounds began to close entirely, leaving him completely healed.

"Why?" Eevee asked curiously, tilting her head to look up at Ash.

Ash smiled softly, his hand gently stroking her silver fur. "Because I can still get information out of him," he explained. The understanding in her singular eye was enough to make her nod in agreement.

Turning his icy gaze back to Tobio, Ash's voice carried an authoritative edge. "Will you talk now?"

"Y-yes... I-I'll talk... please, don't hurt me anymore!" Tobio stammered, his voice hoarse and trembling, his fear making every word falter.

"Then tell me, where are the bases of Team Plasma?" Ash demanded coldly, his tone leaving no room for hesitation.

"We... we have a base in the Giant Chasm! And we were heading to the Dragonspiral Tower so Lord N could obtain the power of the Dragon of Truth!" Tobio blurted out in a panicked rush, his words tumbling over each other as he spilled everything he knew.

Ash and Serena exchanged a glance before letting out simultaneous snorts of amusement. Serena held the Dragon of Truth, Reshiram, while Ash was bonded to the Dragon of Ideals, Zekrom. That revelation explained why Team Plasma couldn't locate their Dragons or detect Ash's presence in the Giant Chasm when cloaked by his invisibility.

"Eevee, my dear," Ash said with a wide grin, turning his attention to the tiny Pokémon in his arms, "wouldn't you like to take your revenge yourself?"

Eevee's silver eye lit up with a gleeful sparkle, her ears perking up as her tail wagged furiously. "Yes! I would love to!" she chirped excitedly. But her enthusiasm dimmed just as quickly, her tail lowering as she frowned. "But... I don't know any moves," she admitted dejectedly.

"That's not a problem!" Ash assured her, his voice brimming with confidence. He opened his inventory and accessed his TM Case, pulling out an impressive array of Technical Machines.

In rapid succession, Ash selected and applied TM08: Hyper Beam, TM10: Protect, TM15: Dig, TM32: Double Team, TM39: Swift, TM40: Endure, TM57: Substitute, TM21: Psychic, TM24: Thunderbolt, TM35: Flamethrower, TM36: Shadow Ball, TM52: Energy Ball, TM86: Grass Knot, TM92: Dazzling Gleam, TM90: Toxic, TM06: Body Slam, TM23: Iron Tail, TM28: Helping Hand, and finally TM30: Bite.

Eevee watched in awe as a glow surrounded her briefly, signifying her assimilation of each move.

"Now," Ash said, holding out a primed Luxury Ball in his hand, "would you like to become my Pokémon before you do that?"

Eevee's face brightened once more as she enthusiastically tapped the ball's button with her nose. The ball closed with a satisfying click, emitting the familiar sound of a successful capture.

Ash released her immediately back into his hands, where she looked up at him with excitement and newfound power. "All yours, Eevee," he said with a smirk, nodding toward Tobio.

"Wait! You said you wouldn't hurt me if I told you everything!" Tobio screamed in panic as he saw Eevee walking toward him.

"I never said that," Ash replied, his smirk never faltering. "And secondly, it's Eevee who'll be hurting you."

Pikachu snorted from Ash's shoulder. "Get your facts straight, fucktard!" he added, his voice dripping with disdain.

Eevee approached the bound man slowly, her steps deliberate and calm. She opened her mouth, gathering energy in her jaws, and with a flash of light, she launched a small but devastating Hyper Beam directly at the man's most sensitive area.

Tobio screamed in agony, howling with pain as tears and snot ran down his face. Blood poured from between his legs as the intense shock wave of energy continued to wreak havoc on him.

"Please! Kill me! This is too much!" he begged, his voice hoarse from the intensity of his suffering.

Ash turned to Eevee, who nodded in silent agreement.

"Not yet," Ash said coldly as he drew the Verdentvenom Blade from his inventory. "You should feel honored. You'll be the first human I kill."

In one swift, practiced motion, he made three quick slashes with the blade—bisecting, dissecting, and beheading Tobio in an instant. The man's body crumpled to the ground, blood and viscera spilling out in a grotesque pool around him.

A system window appeared before Ash, signaling the completion of his grisly task:

"Nice," Ash said with a satisfied grin as he wiped the blood from his blade, his expression cool and composed.

Suddenly, Eevee leapt into his arms, her body glowing with a radiant pink light.

Ash barely had time to react, letting his blade drop to the ground as Eevee's form began to grow larger in his grasp.

The blade that was on the ground vanished into his inventory.

"What... what are you?" Ash asked, astonished, staring into her now singular, wide pink eye.

Serena, who had been silently observing, stepped forward with a smile. "That's a Sylveon. When an Eevee loves their trainer deeply and has fairy-type moves, they evolve into their Fairy-type form."

Ash nodded as realization dawned. He cradled the newly evolved Sylveon in his arms, marveling at her transformation. "I see," he murmured, a proud smile spreading across his face.

Sylveon had a slender, elegant body, her singular pink eye standing out against her delicate features. Her long, rabbit-like ears and head were both blue, with the insides of her ears a soft pink. Around her neck and at the base of her right ear sat a white and blue bow, from which two ribbon-like feelers extended. The tips of these ribbons were pink, fading into a darker pink below, and finally transitioning to a shade of blue. Her tail, soft and furry, was perfectly proportioned, not too short nor too long, adding to her graceful appearance.

"Sylveon, you might just be the first Pokémon to evolve at level 2!" Ash chuckled, earning a loving lick on his face from his newest Pokémon.

Turning to Serena, Ash retrieved the Verdantvenom Blade from his inventory. "I want you to have this," he said, holding the leaf-shaped blade out to her.

"Me? Why?" Serena asked, surprised, her cheeks flushing slightly.

"Because I care about you a lot. Like, really, really a lot," Ash replied with a smirk. "I want you to learn to wield a sword for your own protection. And don't worry—I have the title of Battle Master, which gives me instinctual knowledge of every weapon and how to use them in battle. I can teach you everything you need to know about fighting—not just with Pokémon, but on your own."

Serena hesitated for a moment, then took the blade with a soft blush, her lips curling into a shy smile. "Thank you, Ash."

"What did you mean when you said those things?" Serena asked, her curiosity evident.

"Oh, that? It was just to increase my fear factor," Ash replied casually. "Though it is true that humans are weak compared to any Pokémon—or a Nephilim like me. But I don't actually think humans are a lower species... Well, maybe they are, but you don't need to worry about that. Sooner or later, we'll get you a race change item."

Serena tilted her head. "What do you think would suit me best?"

Ash hummed thoughtfully. "I can't say for sure, but you'll always be the best in my eyes. First, we just need to find that race change item," he said with a grin, gently setting Sylveon back on the ground.

Sylveon's singular pink eye gleamed mischievously as she turned to the corpse of the despicable human, using Flamethrower to reduce it to ashes.

"Bro, don't you think you're forgetting something?" Pikachu interrupted, smirking.

"And what would that be?" Ash asked, raising an eyebrow.

"The Gacha, you forgetful idiot!" Pikachu teased fondly.

"Oh, right!" Ash exclaimed, making a fist and tapping it against his open palm.

"Gacha Wheel!" he called out, and a glowing system window appeared in front of him.

Ash glanced at the items he'd received, deciding to keep only the Basic Spellbook (grants access to simple elemental spells like Water Splash or Ember), Quickstep Boots (temporarily increases movement speed by 10%), Weather Charm (negates minor weather effects like hail or sandstorms), Golden Gauntlet (increases attack power by 20%), Mystic Feather (protects the user from one fatal blow), Elemental Orb (absorbs an elemental attack and converts it into energy for one counterattack), Echo Stone (allows the user to learn a single move or ability from a defeated enemy), and Celestial Cloak (grants immunity to all status effects and halves all incoming damage).

"Take this!" Ash said, handing Serena a cloak that shimmered like the night sky, a small booklet with a magical symbol on it, a round stone with a void-like core and clear glass exterior, a light blue feather necklace, a large orb containing spheres for each elemental type, and a pair of light yellow boots with blue soles, each with a small feather on the sides of the ankles.

Meanwhile, Ash equipped a pair of fingerless spiked golden gauntlets on his right hand and his Z-ring on his left, both turning invisible as he deactivated the system's cosmetic armor.

"Can I really have these?" Serena asked, her eyes wide with surprise.

"Of course," Ash replied with a confident smile. "I'll never need them. Only creatures stronger than me can hurt me, and that's only if I let them. Besides, I don't want to see you get hurt, so I'll do everything in my power to make you stronger."

Serena blushed and accepted the items with a smile. "Thank you."

"So, are we going to train now?" she asked with a yawn.

Ash paused, his thoughts running through the timeline. Oh yeah, it's been hours since we arrived in Unova, and we left our world just a few hours before nightfall...

"No, not yet. I'm going to keep spinning the wheel until I get a Limit Breaker or a Race Change item for you," Ash said with determination as he began walking, gesturing for Serena and the Pokémon to follow him.

"Scum!" Ash called, startling Vix half to death.

"Y-yes!" Vix stuttered in fear.

"You can do whatever you want, but I better see you here when we return!" Ash said without looking back.

"Yes, sir!" Vix squeaked fearfully. He really didn't want to find out what Ash would do if he disobeyed.

Ash led them to a part of the island where it was already night. As he walked, he opened a mental communication link with Gardevoir to finalize his plan.

With a snap of his fingers, the transformation began. Three sturdy oak logs grew from the ground, their rough surfaces contrasting against their soft texture. The logs formed a perfect triangular shape, and rocks erupted from the earth in the center. The rocks were arranged in a circle, ready to hold something.

On cue, Gardevoir used her psychic powers to lift dry sticks and leaves toward the circle of rocks. With a wave of her hand, the sticks and leaves caught fire, creating a campfire in seconds.

"Ta-da!" Ash said with a grin, presenting the campfire to Serena.

Serena's eyes glimmered with happiness as she tackle-hugged Ash. "I've wanted to do this for so long! It feels like we're really journeying together now, instead of just spending a few hours at a time!" she exclaimed.

"Yeah, I get it," Ash said with a chuckle as she released him. "Before, we could only spend six hours together, but now we can stay together as long as we want... although not too long. Time moves slower in our world while we're here, but we still age. If we stayed here for months at a time, we'd end up too old!"

Serena giggled, nodding as she took a seat on one of the logs. "Yeah, you're right!"

Ash sat down beside her on the deceptively soft log. Around the campfire, the Pokémon found their own spots. Eilie, now back in her smaller Yveltal form, rested comfortably, while Pikachu, content on Ash's shoulder, occasionally glanced around. Sylveon sat quietly by Ash's feet, her gaze soft and serene, as if she were perfectly at ease with her new team.

Sylveon's ribbon-like feelers wrapped around Ash's arm. He smiled warmly and began gently petting them, earning a content hum from the Pokémon.

"Ash, what are we going to do about that Vix guy?" Serena asked, breaking the moment.

"You mean Scum?" Ash replied with a smirk.

"Yeah, him," Serena nodded.

"For now, we'll keep him as a spy," Ash explained. "He'll feed us intel on other criminal organizations and the Rockets. Plasma is nothing—if I wanted to, I could reduce them to ashes in hours."

"Do you want us to be vigilantes?" Serena teased with a playful smile, though Ash seemed to give it serious thought.

"That might actually be a good idea," he said, his smile turning into a grin. "Black and White—the protectors of justice!"

"And I will be the all-powerful Pikachu, unmatched in strength, the strongest Pikachu in the world!" Pikachu declared dramatically, puffing out his chest.

"Oh, oh! I want a vigilante name too!" Eilie chimed in enthusiastically, her eyes shining.

"I want one as well, Dad!" Gardevoir added with excitement.

"If we must, I suppose I wouldn't be opposed to a vigilante name," Servine said with a dignified air, glancing hopefully at Serena. While Serena couldn't directly understand Pokémon like Ash, their enthusiasm was hard to miss.

Ash chuckled. "Looks like our Pokémon are all onboard for this vigilante idea."

"Alright, then! Let's do it—we'll be vigilantes!" Serena declared with determination, her voice brimming with excitement.

"As Her Majesty commands," Ash said with a mock bow, smirking. "We shall endeavor to be the most ruthless, justice-following vigilante team ever!"

The group burst into laughter, Pokémon and trainers alike savoring the lighthearted moment as their unconventional journey continued to unfold.

Amid the laughter, Ash's stomach let out a loud grumble, drawing even louder laughter from the group.

"I don't have any ingredients on me right now," Ash muttered, pulling up the system's shop. After a brief scan, he purchased the ingredients for barbecue and even a portable barbecue grill.

"Yay! Barbecue!" Serena cheered excitedly as Ash began setting up.

"Barbie what?" Sylveon tilted her head in confusion, her pink ribbon-like feelers twitching.

"Barbecue. BBQ for short!" Pikachu explained, suddenly hopping beside the puzzled Eeveelution. "It's the greatest thing mankind ever created—second only to ketchup, the food of the gods! It's got everything—meat, veggies, flavor, and pure satisfaction! And the ones Ash makes? They're the best in the entire multiverse!" Pikachu declared, punctuating his words with wild gestures.

Sylveon gasped, her wide pink eyes sparkling with amazement. "The best in the entire multiverse?"

"Uncle's right! Anything Dad makes is the best in the multiverse!" Eilie chimed in, her excitement evident as she began drooling at the thought.

Soon, the heavenly aroma of barbecue wafted through the air, drawing everyone's attention to Ash. Pokémon and Serena alike watched with eager anticipation, their eyes glued to him. Somehow, even while performing such a mundane task, Ash moved with effortless elegance, flipping skewers and seasoning the food with a grace that left them mesmerized.

It wasn't long before all the skewers were done, and everyone got to experience Ash's heavenly culinary skills. The flavors were unmatched, leaving everyone thoroughly satisfied.

After enjoying the delicious meal and sharing some lighthearted moments, the day's exhaustion finally caught up to Serena. She decided that Ash's lap was the perfect place to rest her head. Ash, of course, was more than happy to act as her pillow, a soft smile gracing his lips as she settled in.

While Serena dozed off peacefully, Ash spent the next few hours spinning the Gacha wheel. He went through all his Gacha tokens and free spins, his focus unwavering. Most of the items he obtained were sold back to the System for money, but there were a few he deemed worth keeping.

"I don't know how I feel about that," Ash muttered as he selected the Nephilim Wings from his inventory.
