"Hello my Champion." A disconnected, ethereal voice whispered in his ear.

"For fucks sake, you couldn't leave me dead in peace, could you." Harry Potter replied, a weary bitterness in his voice. It had been several decades since he was in this place, clean King's Cross, and all he wanted was to move on.

"I know what you want Harry, and normally I would give it to you, but my cousins have bequeathed me to ask this of you." As death spoke 14 figures emerged onto the station and he could feel another presence in the air, nameless, faceless, but a god all the same.

The largest of the gods stepped forward and introduced himself. "I am Arrax, Champion, God of Law, Order, Justice, Governance and Strength, Ruler of the Fourteen. We and the Old Gods of the Forest have come to ask for your help. Another Champion, one of the Great Other, is threatening life on our world. Our chosen houses will collapse on themselves. We ask you to stop this from happening, it all starts two hundred years before the war for the Dawn, before the Night King, the Champion of the Great Other, is released from his Icy prison and unleashes his horde of undead on the mortal realms."

"And what do I get out of it? You would be dragging me from my afterlife, my wife, my children, the parents I never met and the parents I chose."

"You would get another chance at life, one free from the sufferings of your old life, another chance for love and family. And you could save millions of lives in the process".

And there it was, Harry's saving people thing. It had plagued him all his life, got him into countless situations, and was a quality he wouldn't change about himself, however frustrating it could be.

"What are the conditions?"

" Are you familiar with A Song of Ice and Fire?"

"That book series that was never finished, had multiple spin offs, many TV shows and is regarded as one of the greatest stories ever written. I might have heard of them."

"Good, should you accept, you will be sent to before the Dance of the Dragons as the son of Aemon Targaryen's bastard Duncan Snow and Alyssa Greystark."

"Greystark, I thought their line died out a couple of hundred years before the conquest?"

"They survived, hidden as maids and guards in Winterfell for hundreds of years but their line persisted." This time, the whispers of thousands of voices filled Harry's ears.

"And I am being born of their line, why?" Harry replied

"The combination of numerous magical bloodlines, Targaryen, Stark, Greystark and Umber will provide a good excuse for the abilities we would be giving you." The Old Gods said.

"Where did the Umbers come in?" Harry said, slightly exasperated now.

"Your Grandmother would be Maege Snow, a bastard daughter of Jon Umber and lady in waiting for the Lady Stark during the progression that Aemon took. Because of this, your father will be about 6 and a half foot and you will be 6ft 7 and built like an ox if you develop and train your body, this would be one of the gifts the Old gods will give you should you accept."

Harry sighed at this, knowing already that he would, he couldn't just let millions of people be turned into blue eyed inferi if there was something he could do about it. "If I accept, what would the boons offered to me be?"

The Old Gods answered first "You will be granted the size and strength of the Umbers, the ability to warg and skinchange and be allowed guidance at a weirwood."

"The fourteen would each offer increased natural potential of each of our domains. I would offer the strength of character and justice necessary for each situation.

Aegarax, the father of dragons, will offer the ability to bond with a dragon.

Balerion will give a natural dread when your enemies look upon you.

Caraxes will grant the knowledge of ships throughout the Age of Sails in your world and minor elemental control over water.

Gaelithox will grant elemental power over fire, as some of the Valyrians of old did.

Meleys will help find love in a partner and health of future children, your wife will not miscarry or die on the birthing bed.

Meraxes will boost the agility and speed of your dragon when you bond.

Shrykos will grant you and your descendants dragon dreams.

Syrax will grant the joy of drunkenness without losing wit and will protect your descendants from madness.

Tessarion will grant the knowledge of the songs of your world and a good singing voice.

Tyraxes would give knowledge of past battles and strategies in both worlds and boost your intelligence.

Vermax will bless your trade routes and expeditions, knowledge on the languages of old, such as the true tongue of the Singers and the old tongue of the Giants. Vermithor will grant excellent skills of craftsmanship and blacksmithing.

And finally, Vhagar will make you a natural with any weapon you choose,"

Harry had to admit, they were some pretty substantial boons that could change Westeros and set his future house as a leading power in the future of the world."What would happen in regards to my magic from this world?"

"Some of it you would keep, the vast majority, you wouldn't. Your core will still be the same size, but magic works differently. Spells don't exist, only ritualistic magic, blood magic, runic magic, the Old Magics of nature and elemental magics. You will be able to keep Occlumency to control emotions and enhance mental connections, but Legillimancy will only allow you to see surface thoughts, so it is weakened but still useful. Healing magic will also be available, but draining and limited, you will have to rely on other methods of healing. You may apparate, but only to places you already know and can remember very clearly."

Harry nodded at this, he had proficiency over some elemental, ritualistic and runic magic (one didn't live nearly 300 years without picking up a thing or two), but his main forte was combat magic, healing, transfiguration and charms. He wouldn't touch blood magic with a ten foot pole due to the dangers involved.

"If you would consent, after your life has come to an end, we would send you a message to ride your dragon west, past the sunset sea, where you will be allowed to either stay awake or put into stasis to return just before what would be the rebellion."

"What dragon am I going to bond to?" Harry said, curious at all the talk about his dragon without actually naming it.

"That is for you to find out, champion, you needn't seek them out, for they shall come to you when they and you are ready." Aegarax explained

Harry sighed, hating the mystery that this dragons caused, but also looking forward to the adventure he was going to embark on.

"I've made up my mind, I will do it, and stay and fight in the Long Night." Harry said, a quiet resolution in his eyes. "But I want immunity from extreme temperatures, the hot and the cold, and I want to be able to explore Valyria free from danger, no poisoned gas, no monstrous creatures, no wild dragon attacks and no worms or greyscale."

"It is done. Good luck Hadrian Snow." Arrax said before flicking his wrist at Harry. He felt a strong pull on his navel, far stronger than any portkey he'd ever used before.
