Hello to all, this is Chapter 37 of the fifth and finale of Volume 6!

Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.

Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!

Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight!

Volume 6: Chapter 37: The Strongest Dragon Knight! The Final Conclusion!

Previously in DKR:

Everyone was overwhelmed with Kojan's transformation, becoming a skeleton-like Phantom. Both Haruto and Shadow Knight explained what a Phantom was and the masked knight revealed that Kojan used his Draconic Powers to become one. By doing so, he had gained power and no restrictions… However, his humanity was all but gone and worse, he would lose his consciousness that he was gritting on to the Phantom; vanishing forever.

Not going to allow that, Yugi engaged the transformed Phantom Kojan who easily eclipsed Burst Limit Yugi. Using all of his techniques, even summoning Pendragon; Yugi was still losing the fight as he nearly died protecting others in the streets of Domino if not for Mew Ichigo, Mew Erika and Mew Plum. Jenny once more tried to reach out to Kojan and he cracked temporarily before about to attack them until he too was bashed aside by Kaiba and his Neo Blue-Eyes. Encouraging Yugi by mocking him that he has the power to save his friend; Yugi realized he must not hold back anymore.

However, Yugi still wasn't sure what he could do until he was reached out by someone he wasn't expecting, Keiko. Her soul, having been unable to go to the afterlife since her death, stayed close to Kojan to protect him and tried to let go of her. Now pleading to Yugi to save him; Yugi finally made the choice and gave up one of his lives to activate Yin-Yang Dragon Balance Breaker!

With everything on the line, can Yugi create a miracle and save his friend from despair?

And now the conclusion... last left off:

The skies of Domino City tremble with sparks of electricity flowing across the dark skies. There, the climax of a great battle is about to start and end… while two idiots are arguing about their hobbies.

''Can you stop telling me your list of favorite bugs, saur.'' Ryuzaki complains towards Haga who snickers with a gritting grin, insulting him right back. ''You simply can't appreciate the beauty of my insect collection compared to your dirty bones!''

The dinosaur duelist groans, regretting asking for his stupid bug collection. Then again, he was complaining about the KC Cup that he lost to that Ichigo girl. Thank god he didn't bother joining that tournament. Heard it became crazy over there.

''Remind me why the hell do I-'' Ryuzaki begins to question why he always hangs out with him only for his words to be interrupted by the world trembling around them. They started to panic as they could hear a monstrous roar above them, echoing across the whole city.

''W-WHAT WAS THAT?!'' Grabbing onto each other, both begin freaking out in horror.

Up above them, the others watch as Yugi has just entered his Balance Breaker form, roaring powerfully. This is the first time for many to see this form, taken back by its presence and even its pressure.

''Yugi's Legendary Limit.'' Ryan utters, his body trembling like everyone else due to the pulsing energy of Yugi's form. Even the 3 Mew Mews who joined back with the others are taken back even though Mew Ichigo and Mew Plum experience this power already.

''Yin-Yang Dragon Balance Breaker?!'' Mew Erika utters out, gasping by the massive, overflowing power. She can hear the giggles of the Inner Scorpion, commenting. ''My-my, to think they gained that much of a connection now.''

Mew Ichigo stares silently at Yugi's dragon armor like form. She can't stop looking at it as if… it's strange for her to admit it but it's like she's seen it before somewhere, and before as in long ago. There's something scary yet… beautiful about the form.

''… God created divine artifacts or weapons known as Sacred Gears.'' The cat girl turns to Shadow Knight who begins to reveal something to the group. ''It is said they are his creation, the very same that forged this world… but he was not the first. Above him, the ones who first created the Sacred Gears, are the creators of our existence: The All Goddess and the Great Overlord.''

He pauses as silhouettes form behind the back of his mind; one resembling a feminine human body of a woman with a pair of dragon wings and tail and the other is a bulky, armored humanoid with two large dragon-like shoulders. He resumes saying as this goddess raised her hands and grasp into the nothingness and formed light as the form of a blade. ''And it was the All Goddess that created the first Scared Gear, one not qualified as one but one grander than all other ones.''

''And that was the Dragon Sword?'' Shadow theorizes, always wondering how powerful Yugi's sword is to have granted him such skills and powers. The masked knight nods as he then says. ''But the Balance Breaker; it was created as a glitch, an error of the world. A power that breaks law and boundaries. And the All Goddess' second creation; the first to break the laws of existence…''

The image of the unknown goddess forging a large dragon egg, surrounded in black and white flames coiled around it.

''The Dragons of Creation and Destruction. The first Inner Demons or rather what they were based on. In other words, you could consider it their God.'' He reveals it to be Yin-Yang Dragon. Erika is startled heavily as is Ryan, both wondering if their Inner Demons knew that or were keeping that a secret. However, Ichigo realized something more surprising and Kaiba did too.

"Are you saying Yugi's sword and this dragon are linked?'' Seto questions the masked knight annoyed, finding this insane to believe and yet… it would explain a lot.

"…'' Silent at first, Shadow Knight turns to face him and responds. ''Yes.''

The others are visibly shocked to learn that. Mew Ichigo looks down for a moment, making a little sense. Yugi began using Yin-Yang Dragon in the early days of when he became the Dragon Knight and as he grew, he began to master both the sword and the dragons within him. Then what Aizen said about Yugi being the reincarnation of this Sir Dragonaun is also true?

''I don't care.'' The cat girl turns to Mew Plum, having a firm expression as she gazes at Yugi in his transformation form, staring down at Phantom Kojan. ''Yugi, my little brother; he will use that power to save and bring back Kojan-kun to his senses. He will!''

''…'' Mew Ichigo, silently, slowly smiles. She nods, believing he can. Haruto watches closely, not sure how that form will accomplish other than destroying Kojan. He can't save him. So what does he plan to do?

Phantom Kojan hisses deeply as Yugi growls softly, grinding his claw feet tightly into the ground.

''Yugi, you got 10 minutes-'' Yin Dragon warns his partner that he now has extended time but Yugi interrupts and corrects him from last time. ''Less than 10.''

The black dragon growls as Yang Dragon advises him. ''Finish the fight because we know what you plan to do.''

Yugi doesn't nod, glad they do understand as he gazes upon Phantom Kojan.

''Damn you…'' Finally speaking, the part that is still Kojan begins cursing out before going full out, howling monstrously while stomping his foot over and over onto the floor. ''DAMN-DAMN-DAMN-DAMN!'' Each stomp cracks and soon shatters that part of the rooftop's floor cracks and shatters as the Phantom now floats in the air and still rants furiously. ''WHY DON'T YOU JUST DROP DEAD AND VANISH FROM MY LIFE!''

Yugi doesn't respond as the Phantom now charges at him, howling as he swings a fist only to stagger as the armored dragon is now in front of him, swinging his own fist as both punches collide.

The two clash fists, releasing a wave of violent energy before they vanish, moving so fast that only multiple waves of colliding, destructive energy are felt across everywhere at the same time. It's like heavy gravity if it was trying to punch you, pushing those without powers to drop on their knees.

No one can keep up with them, almost everyone. Shadow Knight is able to while Obito can't even keep up with such speed no less how visibly shaken his Sharingan eye is by Yugi's massive power. The man with the camera can't help but scoff with some interest, wanting to see this first hand; the power of the Dragon Knight as he takes a precise photo shot of the clash.

No longer visible, the two become seen when Yugi immediately kicks the Phantom so high into the sky before blitzing right after him, zig-zagging him further up like a ping-pong before bashing a fist so hard across his face that it launches him forward.

Kojan stops himself by growing sharp bone-shaped wings, coated in dark energy in the portion to maintain flight. Yugi flies right at him as Kojan dives downward, both vanishing only for two opposing energies slam themselves into the air and then multiple, identical ones are seen across the skies too.

People down below confuse those lights as fireworks before they vanish and then panic as a portion of the dark sky is slashed in half, revealing the blue sky.

Phantom Kojan barely dodges Yugi's swing as he takes aim with his claws and fires piercing beams from them towards him. Yugi flies forward, swinging his Dragon Blade to reflect and destroy each beam with each of his swings.

''PERISH ALREADY!'' He yells out furiously, firing waves of dark energy from the flap of his wings. Aiming with his left gauntlet claw, Yugi utters out with a deep voice. ''DRAGONAUN SHOT.'' He fires a particle purple energy shot that pierces through the energy waves and dissolves them. Kojan barely evades the beam, growling as he needs to- He soon panics as Yugi is now facing in front of him.

''DRAGONAUN VOID WING!'' Twirling his body around, Yugi roars as he strikes the Phantom with his dark energy coated wings. The energy shoots out of them upon contact and then explodes, sending Kojan nearly falling into the ground but he stops himself. He pants, getting madder as he flies right back up at him.

''WHY CAN'T YOU REALIZE YOU CAN'T CHANGE ANYTHING WITH KINDNESS!'' Kojan howls, swinging and delivering multiple punches as if he had 18 arms. Yugi watches as the fists are coming at him and tosses the Dragon Blade through a dark cloud as he extends back both his arms while his squeezed claws erupt in flames.

''DRAGONAUN WALTZ!'' He roars, thrusting them forward and unleashes a barrage of 90 punches as if he had 30 arms. Kojan panics as their fists collide, moving at such speed that it breaks sound barriers and creates shockwaves. However, Kojan tries to move his punches faster but Yugi outmatches with his numerous punches so much so that the 12 that land across the Phantom blasts him backwards.

Phantom Kojan breathes out, revealing that each fist that Yugi landed left puncture holes across his body. He still breathes intensely, already regenerating the wounds but is too discarded as Yugi raises his right arm as the Dragon Blade twirls back down from the sky and lands perfectly into his possession. The blade suddenly glows in white energy, expanding and growing to resemble a great sword that's about a 10 floored building size tall.

''DRAGONAUN HOLY SABER.'' He proclaims, swinging his massive blade, instantly, right towards Kojan who panics and tries to guard with a barrier of energy. The energy blade connects and consumes the Phantom and cuts through a portion of the dark sky.

The energy blade fades away as Yugi lifts his head up to see the Phantom above in the air, hissing in pain as one of his wings was destroyed along with most of his body that's already being regenerated.

''WHY CAN'T YOU JUST GIVE UP!'' Unable to control his rage and fury, Phantom Kojan yells out as his whole body erupts multiple energy beams from his skeleton bones right towards Yugi who floats there, not even looking at him.

''DRAGONAUN MIRAGE.'' Yugi utters out deeply as his body suddenly becomes transparent and the beams hit through him and unfazed him. Kojan growls as multiple copies of the Dragon Knight form and the Phantom just fires more beams, hitting each one but they are mirages.

The Phantom breathes as the mirages fade away and the original suddenly appears behind him. Kojan feels him and turns around fast, manifesting a large energy spear around his left arm.

''JUST STOP TRYING! THERE IS NO HOPE, ONLY DESPAIR! THAT IS ALL THIS WORLD OFFERS!'' He howls monstrously, twirling around and thrusting the energy spear from his back… only for his attack to be cut in half. The Phantom staggers as Yugi pierce through his attack, now wielding his Dragon Ryujin. The others were shocked when or how he grabbed Kojan's blade.

''… Keiko-kun never gave up on you.'' Yugi begins to tell his friend, gazing firmly as her pleas still echo in his thoughts. ''And her hope, that small ember, still burns…'' His dragon pupils shrink as he sees through the Phantom into its soul, as black as the void and yet sees a single dot, a sparkle of something he knew better than most. ''That I can see a small spark of it in your soul.''

The Phantom snaps as he howls, swinging with his right claw only for that arm to be wrapped and tightened by Yugi's dragon tails. He struggles to break free as the coil of the two tails are very strong and then Yugi stabs Kojan's own blade onto his other arm.

''As long as someone has hope, as long as I can keep fighting…'' Yugi proclaims as he extends back his left claw, forming a Dragonaun Rasengan and roars, slamming the attack across his chest. ''I WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON ANYONE!''

Phantom Kojan shrieks in agony as Yugi quickly unwraps his tail off his arm and lets his sphere attack explode and sends him flying far up high into the city. Yugi then crosses his arms as his dragon head shoulders open up from their mouths along with each gem across his scaled armor body glows. Breathing heavily as the dragon shoulders' eyes glow as did his, Yugi roars as his mouth piece cracks open and reveals his sharp fangs, howling so powerfully that even the heavens crack.

''DRAGONAUN BURST GIGA RAYS CANNONS!'' Yugi explodes as he spreads and bends his arms to his sides just as his dragon head shoulders fire twin powerful, black and white energy blasts along with multiple red energy beams across his gems. The red beams move at top speed and instantly pierce through Phantom Kojan across his whole body, pinning him in place for the twin white and black energy blasts to spiral into one and consume him instantly.

"AAAAWWWWW!'' The Phantom howls in agony as the combined attacks release a devastating widespread explosion.

Everyone is speechless as Yugi breathes heavily, his mouthpiece shut tight as did his dragon mouth shoulders.

''H-He won…'' Mew Erika utters out, taken back by what she just witnessed. Is that really Yugi? Is he really that much stronger now?

''Not yet.'' Shadow Knight proclaims calmly.

Phantom Kojan emerges from the smoke of the explosion, descending downward as his body is still regenerating. He grunts in pain, his body too sluggish and barely-

Suddenly he's grabbed by the face by Yugi who both vanish and reappear right back on top of the same rooftop as everyone else. Yugi slams the Phantom onto the floor, keeping him in place as he asks Haruto. ''Haruto-kun, the Underworld can still be accessed if someone is a Phantom?''

''I-I don't-'' Haruto, completely uncertain, isn't even sure if that's possible as he's never done it before. Yugi, however, snickers, as he can still feel Kojan still in there. ''Good enough.''

His dragon eyes glow as a black and white glowing magical portal manifests on top of the Phantom, shocking Haruto as it resembles one of his magical portals.

''Yin-Yang Gate.'' Yugi proclaims as he leaps into the portal and vanishes inside, diving downward through the white and black tunnel of energy right towards Kojan's Underworld.

Emerging out of the portal in almost a few seconds in between entering and exiting out, Yugi lands within the distorted Underworld, Kojan's Underworld. It looks like a shattered version of the school-like camp where he met him and Keiko.

''So this is…'' Yugi begins to utter as his armor erupts in flames and his Balance Breaker armor fades away and manifests into becoming Yin-Yang Dragon. The tricolor head is shocked that his partners have manifested here but he's not complaining.

There, they hear a howl and turn towards the abyss edge of the world is the Phantom, a massive skeleton resembling that of the Gashadokuro, the massive skeleton Yokai.

Yin Dragon growls as he declares madly at that Phantom. ''We'll restore the damage by beating the crap out of that loser!''

''You reach your friend, Yugi-san. We got this!'' Yang Dragon also declares as Yugi nods. The two-headed dragon soars at top speed as they bash themselves against the giant skeleton Phantom. They roar, wrapping their tails around it as they start swiping their claws across its skull face and smashing it onto the ground.

Yugi smiles as he dashes and finds Kojan within moments. He looks at him in his human form, staring at a frozen image of his kid version laughing alongside Keiko about a joke he told so badly that it made her laugh nonetheless. He didn't understand why she found it funny and she said it was because he made it sound funny. He wasn't even trying and yet it brought a smile across her face.

''…'' Kojan stares at that cracked image, letting the Phantom shatter it and yet it still remains as if mocking him or… reminding him to not let it go.

''I remember that day. It was the first time Keiko laugh this happy.'' He begins to tell Yugi who looks at it, frowning as this seems to have happened while everyone, including him were sleeping. He recalls how those two were happy, just like himself and Ichigo.

Kojan turns to face him, further saying as his eyes lower down sadden. ''This place used to be the memory of my brother…'' His words waver, seeing flashes of that image and yet he grits his teeth, only reminded that he died and he never got to say goodbye to him. ''I… I chose to forget it. It only brought more pain. So I pick Keiko, until today… but now…''

The world trembles as the cracks of the image are slowly being put together. The two turn to see Yin-Yang Dragon slamming the death skeleton Phantom over and over into the ground, roaring as they stab their claws and fangs onto it before tearing them off piece by piece.

Kojan sees his Underworld being fixed again and yet he frowns to see it happen. He just doesn't get it, he really doesn't.

''… Why?'' Kojan begins questioning him, not understanding any of this. His motives, his recklessness, his needs; why?! ''I… I already asked this so many times, so many times I pleaded for you to stop, so many times and all you do is forget the same thing. So, one more time: Why?!''

''…'' Yugi looks at him calmly and slowly curls his mouth into a smile.

''Because you were my Hope. You became my friend.'' The tricolor head expresses warmth, meaning every word about it. He didn't have anyone, fearing no one would become his friend but Kojan did and he was thankful for all the time he spent with him and the lessons he learned from him. If not for him; he wouldn't appreciate all the friends he's made.

It's then that Yugi begins to tell him confidently. ''How could I let you be swallowed by despair if the Kojan-kun I know would not accept it. He would oppose it, prove that no matter how bad things become; he will stand tall and smile proudly of who he is.'' He then snickers as he also adds playfully. ''And Keiko-kun would never forgive me if I couldn't save you.''

Yugi then extends his hand to Kojan, proclaiming passion. ''That's why I will do all I can to never let you vanish into the void of despair.''

Kojan just stares at him silently, looking at his hand before he questions him once more. ''Why?''

The tricolor head gazes towards him firmly before replying. ''I'm not asking you twice. I gave up a life to even reach you and I have no regrets.''

''Gave up a-'' Kojan begins to question before his eyes startled by the revelation. ''You mean…''

Yugi frowns as he reveals the secret to his Legendary Limit. ''If I use that form 7 more times, I die.''

This takes Kojan by surprise, not realizing that form has such a huge price and worse, he used up his 2nd for him of all people.

''You…'' He begins to utter, his words stalling by Yugi's actions. He didn't have to give up his remaining time alive and yet he did it to save him, someone who gave in to despair. And yet he; that never bothered him. He was willingly to risk it all… for him. When he tried to hurt him, kill him and yet that never stopped him.

''Like I said, I would give up my life for the friends I cherish.'' Yugi tells him once more, determined to risk his own life for the sake of protecting his loved ones. He still lifts his hand to him, wanting him to come with him. Kojan eyes that hand, not sure if he can.

''Kojan, please.'' Kojan widens his eyes, noticing his hand moving on its own or rather it is Keiko's spirit able to lift it up. He stares with a stunned, silent expression as he hears her voice.

''Let's leave, Kojan-kun…'' Yugi proclaims, grabbing his hand and smiles joyfully. ''Together!'' Kojan looks at him and nods softly.

The world around them begins to light up with Keiko smiling, beginning to fade away.

''Yugi, watch over him, please.'' She asks him as she smiles joyfully, for the first time able to move on. As her tears pour down, Keiko's black eyes shift and change into the Sharingan. ''Shisui, thank you for letting me meet Kojan.'' As her body finally vanishes.

Commercial Break:

As if only a second past Yugi entered Kojan through his portal; everyone watches as the Phantom begins shrieking in horrible pain. ''AAAWWWW!'' His body twitches and begins to glow before shattering, revealing underneath is Kojan as the Phantom shell body fades into ashes. His Dragon Ryujin drops off him, landing beside the restored Kojan. They all stare in surprise as Yugi emerges out of the portal that vanishes.

''Kojan-kun…'' Mew Plum begins to utter out, her eyes becoming watery, before she smiles warmly. ''H-he's back to normal!''

Shadow cracks a smirk, not surprising at this point. Jonouchi and Honda flex their arms with Anzu smiling.

Haruto is speechless as he's never seen anyone who became a Phantom to become a human.

''Yugi, he actually…'' He begins saying, not believing that actually happened. Shadow Knight knew as such as he reminds the magician rider. ''Like I said: Hope.''

Mew Ichigo smiles warmly, knowing better than everyone else other than Anzu that Yugi would have found a way. Kaiba also knew too, not going to accept anything less.

Yugi breathes heavily as the Balance Breaker armor glows and fades away, the Legendary Burst Limit having ended. He feels so light-headed, likely wasting more energy due to the Yin-Yang Gate and purifying Kojan too.

''Partner, you did it.'' Atem praises him, causing Yugi to blush warmly. This once more proves to the Pharaoh that Yugi's greatest strength is his kindness. He would rather get hurt than to let others get hurt too. That is his greatest strength.

''That boy…'' Obito begins to utter, showing his visible widened, shocked Sharingan eye. His hands trembled as that form was stronger than anything he's seen and even bested Kojan in that monster form. The stranger with the camera smirks, knowing he would have won.

''He's just like Takao…'' The masked man then says with an almost disdainful voice. ''Someone like him is a threat to Tsuki no Me.'' He sighs, wishing to play with him but for his plans; he must put him down. ''I suppose I have to get rid of him now that I have-''

A sound of some kind of weapon is heard behind Obito's back. He turns halfway through to see the stranger with the camera wielding a strange type of rectangle pistol-like gun, aiming it at his back.

''Maybe you didn't hear me when I said the Dragon Knight is my opponent.'' He warns the masked Uchiha with a firm gaze. The masked man is unfazed by the threat. Kamui will simply-

It's then that the brown haired young man twirls his gun rather playfully before he threatens him. ''Unless you want me to tell them about Madara's goal… or about you, Obito Uchiha.''

''…'' Obito is silent, not possible that someone like him should know who he is. No, utterly impossible. ''Who are you?'' He questions him.

The stranger cracks a small smirk and tells him, saluting his left finger at him. ''A passing-through Kamen Rider. Remember that.''

''…'' Once more silent, the masked man doesn't say a thing before he suddenly cracks a small chuckle. Guess he'll have to handle things differently.

''Heh, another time.'' Obito proclaims, activating Kamui to vanish and teleport from here. The stranger twirls his gun before he folds it into a binder, placing it on the left side of his waist.

A giggle is heard as he turns and it's Prana, sitting on the edge of the roof top and watching things from down below.

''You sure care for him, being the man who wishes to kill Yugi Mutou.'' She begins to tell him as her full body suit fades away and reveals the child Sera, staring at the man who is called the Destroyer of Worlds. ''Is this obsession, revenge or your sense of duty; Tsukasa Kadoya?''

Looking away, Tsukasa scoffs as he's never been asked something like that from a child. Instead, he looks back at her and questions her motives. ''And you, Sera? What's in it for you with the Dragon Knight?''

''… What Master Shadi taught me.'' Smiling, Sera responds as she returns looking at the young man who saved his friend from despair. ''And the light he shines from his soul.''

Tsukasa looks down at Yugi, narrowing his eyes firmly, reminded of another who deceived him and was in turn a monster; Ohma Zi-O. ''… Light can be deceiving.''

Kojan breathes heavily with Mew Plum smiling in relief that he's okay.

''Keiko, was that really…'' He begins to question, still taken back by the voice he heard. Was it really her voice he heard? Yugi would answer that question as he informs him. ''She's been a soul, trapped in the real world because of you. Keiko-kun doesn't want you to suffer anymore, Kojan-kun.''

''…'' Kojan is once more silent, not expecting that- Then she's been a Soul, watching over him and yet he never felt her. Why? Regardless, his biggest concern is himself.

''I… I don't know.'' He just admits to the tricolor head. ''I feel only agony in this body and soul of mine, even if I can't feel my Phantom. And Keiko, she suffered because of me? How can… How can I move on?''

Yugi looks at him, wondering what he could do to help him and realizes there is only 1 option.

''Then there's one thing we must do.'' Yugi begins to suggest to Kojan who looks at him. ''Let's finish our fight, Kojan-kun!''

This surprises the Uchiha as did the others.

''They're serious?'' Masaya questions Ryan who hums and nods before theorizing. ''Knight's honor and pride. They need to be sure who is right.''

''…'' Mew Plum frowns, hoping this works.

Kojan thinks to himself before he sighs and accepts. ''I suppose so. Though, we're both low at power.'' He can tell Yugi is worn out and he's no better.

''Yep. Only one final attack will decide who is right.'' Yugi agrees with him, suggesting they settle things with their strongest attacks. Kojan gazes at him and smirks, replying. ''Show me how strong you truly are, Yugi!''

Yugi smirks as he picks up and tosses the Dragon Ryujin back to Kojan who catches it. He stares at his blade and nods, dashing with such speed that he's already in the air, hovering up in the sky.

''Get ready because this…'' Kojan begins to announce, raising his blade in the sky as sparks of electricity courses across the dark sky. The lightning builds up stronger and more powerful. ''IS MY FINAL TRUMP CARD!''

He focuses all his power into the lightning he's creating, even using his Mangekyou's Yahata no Kami to manipulate the lightning even more, causing the rays to grow and widen in size and power.

''…'' Yugi watches astonishingly as Kojan really intends to go all out with this. He oddly smiles as he grabs onto his Dragon Blade with both hands, squeezing his grip on it and raising the blade over his head.

''You plan to use that attack then, knowing full well it will go over your limit.'' The voice of Yang Dragon speaks to Yugi, fully aware of what he's going to do. Yugi smirks, responding telepathically. ''Yea.''

The white dragon sighs, expecting as much as Yin Dragon then tells him. ''All we can say is the recharge time for Burst Limit to be active will more than a day if not a few weeks.''

''Good enough.'' Yugi responds, finding that this is their last shot. He soon inhales back his voice before he calls forth. "Heavenly dragon, lend me your power.'' Swirls of purple flames erupt from the Dragon Blade, hinting to a golden fiery aura as well.

Kojan watches, not surprised that Yugi is going to use that. He smirks before he begins chanting. ''Strike down the Earth with a thunderous stroke…'' The lightning gathers all of its power in a single spot before Kojan swings his blade down towards Yugi and shouts out. ''THOR'S CATASTROPHE!''

''ETERNAL… DRAGONAUN…'' Yugi begins chanting as the purple flames turn into a red crimson color, burning hotter and stronger than even the dark clouds begin to already evaporate.

As a single flash in the dark sky, massive multiple thunderbolts come down above Kojan and move right at full force towards Yugi who completed his downward swing, finishing his chant. ''TENGOKU!'' The Dragon Blade erupts in bright fiery energy before it explodes and releases its tsunami-like particle blast in the form of a massive energy serpent dragon. The dragon roars as it rams against the thunderbolts, colliding as opposing energies clash, swirling against the other as discharges. Everyone watches as Yugi's stronger Dragonaun Tengoku begins penetrating the thunderbolts as Kojan manifests his Susanoo and fires a massive lightning javelin at him. The energy dragon still rams through as the javelin connects and the discharging energy becomes unstable, so much so that it releases a devastating explosion.

''WAAA!'' Everyone screams as everything becomes bright for about 15 seconds before the light fades away. Rubbing her eyes from the blinding light, Ichigo looks up and gasps at what she's looking at. The others are speechless as the dark sky has been split apart but not only that but even through the exosphere, revealing the depth of space for a brief moment.

Yugi breathes heavily as he drops on one knee on their rooftop and his outfit and form glows, reverting back to base form along with the Dragon Blade becoming the Dragon Sword again.

Jonouchi panics as do the others to see that Kojan is still floating in the sky with his half armored Susanoo surrounding him, having protected him from the last attack on top of his Mangekyou ability.

''K-Kojan is still…'' Ichigo utters alarmed, not believing even Yugi's strongest attack couldn't do a thing.

Yugi, however, just looks up and smiles weakly in astonishment at Kojan's skills. He's completely fragile, he can't win now.

''A-awesome, Kojan-kun!'' He praises him, finding him as the best. ''You… you really are the strongest!''

''…'' With a stoic expression, Kojan begins to form a small smile. ''…Idiot…'' He utters weakly as blood slips across his lips, shocking Yugi.

His Susanoo begins dissolving entirely, revealing the large wound across Kojan's shoulder and across his chest from Yugi's attack. The Eternal Dragonaun Tengoku completely torn through his thunderbolts and javelin before hitting him. Not even Yahata no Kami was able to do anything against that and yet Kojan is still smiling as his Sharingan eyes are replaced with his normal black eyes.

''You are the… strongest…'' Kojan openly admits, having lost as his eyes closed. He begins falling downward as his Burst Limit also ends. He knows he's not going to survive the fall but he's fine. He's made too many mistakes and this is fitting for him.

''I have no regrets…'' He tells himself, going to walk past his despair and move on, knowing the world is in safer hands. ''You are meant to make this world a brighter place, Yugi…''

Not even hesitating as Kojan is falling head first, Mew Plum leaps with such speed to reach and grabs onto him.

"I got you!'' The dog girl proclaims smiling as she somersaults and lands back on the rooftop.

''…'' Opening his right eye, Kojan makes an expression towards Mew Plum before commenting. ''You… just don't quit.''

''I'm stubborn too.'' She tells him with a smirk. Kojan scoffs though he blushes. Yugi watches them and smiles before he grunts, dropping his arms on the ground as he feels anguish across his body.

''Yugi-kun!'' Mew Ichigo cries out, rushing and reaching to his aid. He chuckles weakly, looking at her and says as his vision is really blurry. ''Heh, I feel so light-headed. Really… wanted to… take you home…'' He rests his head across her shoulder, falling asleep. The cat girl blushes as she holds him closely, uttering out. ''You already did that Nya.''

Atem looks at them in spirit form and smiles, proud of his partner for the miracle he performed.

''Partner, your kindness is a power that eclipses despair and hate.'' He proclaims, showing even the Phantom that Kojan became was able to be reverted thanks to Yugi's compassionate determination. He's accomplished a lot, wondering why he was brought back to him. Yugi clearly doesn't need him or… what Aizen said is true.

''… I wonder… if the reason I returned was to be sure you were ready…'' He questions mentally, knowing he will ask him questions and he must be ready.

Tsukasa stares silently down at the unconscious Dragon Knight before he turns his back and begins walking away.

''You won't finish him?'' Sera questions him as the magenta rider scoffs with a small smirk, telling her. ''I want a fair fight. Killing him like this is like sucker punching a boxer after a long, drawn out boxing match. Besides, I promised your boss I would wait until Dragonic is handled. So let him have his victory.'' He soon walks away.

She eyes him leaving, surprised he's willing to follow Shadow Knight's orders. Guess even a Destroyer has a sense of honor.

Shadow Knight eyes Haruto, releasing his shadow from everyone as he says. ''Like I said: Having hope onto others is not a bad thing.''

The magician rider gazes towards him as the masked knight reveals. ''A Dragon Knight's true strength is their allies and those bonds. That is their Hope, the strongest that exists.''

Haruto looks back at Yugi, not expecting he could do such a miracle. He just smiles, once more astonished by him.

Shadow Knight also stares at the sleeping Dragon Knight and tells himself, relieved he changed things for the better. ''You did amazingly, Yugi. Thank you.'' He tells himself, looking at Kojan and seeing a different, sadder ending for him. Just… a bad outcome that Yugi changed for the better and he can only hope for the best.

Next Time…

The Epilogue! So we end the Volume in a happy ending… sort of… probably not. We'll see hmm!

Author's Note: I wasn't expecting this chapter to be so short but well… Happy it ended in the climax of a 4 parter fight.

So if Phantom Kojan was so much grander than Yugi in every way, the Yin-Yang Balance Breaker is EVEN LARGER than Kojan's transformation. It completely outclassed the power Kojan gained and much grander in scale. So I wonder what the Balance Breaker's upper limit is? HMM, maybe we'll see those limits someday.

And yes, if Yin-Yang Dragon's power is balanced, then being able to revert the damage done to Kojan isn't farfetched.

Like I mentioned before; Yugi's kindness is his greatest power. His power to reach others, to connect to them; his want and desires for them to be happy. If that is selfish, then it's his way of living but he would never give up on anyone. That is Yugi Mutou, canon or outside. In DKR, it's no different.

… So Keiko was an Uchiha. Hmm…

The final clash I wanted to do anyway to show Yugi's own strength and it worked out well… and set up the first arc of Volume 7 in why Burst Limit Yugi would sweep it.

Oh hey, Decade from Tales of. Nice to- yea he was always there. Why hide it now if most of you have seen the ending of Season 2? RIGHT?!
