The last weeks have been nothing but pure stress! Kuzon was so tired that a patch of his hair had turned grey he didn't know any more after bribing the judge at the last pro-bending tournament to let the wolf bats win and after winning two million yuan in betting money.

The lastest forms of horror was Korra being lost and Amon, now going after one of the council members, who also had captured said avatar! Kuzon hadn't found a chance to escape the equalists, their leaders had to be followed by four chi blockers at most and he was ready to block them, or build a bomb place it in Amon's office, and be done with this! Sadly that could be done without killing a few innocent people so that was out.

He had followed them to the cabin in the wood, Kuzons first thought were. "I need to figure out how to get out of this!" He stood outside seeing the councilmen Tarrlok. Then he saw Korra there he saw his chance, a way out of this nightmares as he jumped following the avatar as she fell down the hill, to his luck Amon stopped the other members from chasing them down the hill.

Once they reached Korra tried to take a fighting stance but had lost her balance. "avatar calm down." He looked as her eyes widened before he placed her to a tree sitting her down. "Don't worry Amon will think I got lost in the storm." He said checking to see if more were coming and he took of the blue spirit mask after which he broke it.

Korra saw his face and was shocked to see him. She remembered in her younger days when she was just learning water bending, the nice lotus master who would talk to her hen she cried, always babysitting her.

Flashback.

Korra was holding naga and both her parents didn't have an answer to grinning six years old.

Kuzon just accepted it, petting the polar bear dog. "Welcome to the family, just don't eat me and we will be fine" The bear licked the man's hand as he had spilled a bit of honey. "An avatar needs an animal companion, just promise to never forget her." Katara nodded smiling behind the two

He left and returned frequently but after Korra turned ten. "You're leaving for good?" She asked saddened by this fact. "I still have to beat you!" Kuzon sighed it wasn't easy but his aunt wanted him to take on a position in the fire nations court and a bit for her to gain a lap dog to scare the older families.

"Korra, I will be gone but it won't be forever and I promise I will make a nice cup of tea for you." Korra hugged the master lotus, he returned it and went to the girl's parents. "We hope you have a safe journey and thank you for all the help."

Kuzon chuckled before jump hugging the two parents. "Tonraq the worst hasn't come yet and senna keep these two in line ok?" He said before letting them go. senna nodded smiling at the fire nation prince as Tonraq playfully grabbed his shoulder. "don't be a stranger now! You still haven't told me how that joke starts!" Kuzon laughed he liked doing that saying the punchline but never the full joke always frustrated Tonraq yet when he hears the full joke he burst out laughing, like a bison saying hello.

In the present

"Here drink this." He unscrewed the top, filled it as it acted a Cup, and making her drink. "Didn't your fire bending master teach you about breathing? You shouldn't be cold here." Korra just looked tired beyond belief. "I hope we ca-" Then they heard footsteps of an animal when they heard the roar. They both smiled as naga jumped on Kuzon growling at him, a single sniff, and made the angry polar dog lick the face of his victim. "STOP! NOOOOO!" He overacted but this brought a bit of levity to their Situation.

They rode to republic City and Kuzon changed his cloths which easy since he was wearing them under his equalist uniform, mostly cause it was freezing and the things are skintight. "Kuzon were you part-" He didn't wait and just answered.

"No, I was spying on them. I bribed the judge so you would lose that last game." Her eyes widened. "Because Amon planned to take the bending of the winning team. His next target is Tenzin, jinora, Ikki, and Meelo." She stayed silent as we rode to Tenzin and Mako instantly got defensive.

"Who are you?!" He asked not coming closer in fear I might hurt Korra.

Tenzin steps Forward. "Kuzon! What are you doing here, Shouldn't you be in the Fire Nation?"

Kuzon chuckled. "Well, I left and wanted to visit, while walking through the forest I found Korra." I gave Korra to Marko, he put his guard down a bit. "And it's master Kuzon, Uncle." They looked at Tenzin and then to me they must have thought that his siblings made the same mistake of having Kids late.

Bolin walked to Tenzin and asked. "I thought he would be younger." I glared at him for that, which caused the Boy to run, behind his brother.

Later that morning

Lin was strangling Kuzon. "Why didn't you warn us?!" Two simple hits caused her arms to fall numb.

"Simple, my directives were to protect the avatar and the air nomads. Now they are going to final stages, which will end with the capture and the annihilation of a bending form." Their eyes widened. "They never cared about Korra, because she was never a threat in their only an irritating mosquito-wasp, they waited for Korra so they could demoralize her and the other benders. They used her to embolden themselves, Tenzin you need to flee the island and head to one of the air temples." Tenzin sighed it felt he was abandoning the city but it was better risking his family.

Tenzin left and Lin glared at Kuzon. He took out a bottle and held it under her nose to causing pull away, spazzing arms, and the feeling came. "What was that?"

She asked and he answered. "perfume, works on Shirshu venom, and it works on chi blockage." Lin kept a glare on Kuzon. "What?" He said in an annoyed tone of voice.

"Why didn't you warn the Police or the council that the equalist will attack! You coul-" He spoke a single word.

"Why?" Lin froze at that. Kuzon hated this City and she knew it he was only ten years their Junior but had accomplished so much as a master of the White Lotus. "Because matters of the White Lotus does not concern you or the council of non elected fools." He then drank his tea. "I see through two lenses aunt lin and I saw the equelist through their side, most are fools and others are parents hoping to protect their children. I know no lives were taken and for that I am happy and I am saddened by those who have lost their bending." He finished his drink and looked into Lin's eyes.

"I will tell you one two Things: I will protect the air Nation with every fiber of my being and I will kill Amon if I ever get the opening." He said eradicating his killing intent shocking the beifong.
