Hello again.
This is practically right after Jasmine and Bellatrix talked in the last chapter, so they didn't have much time beyond alerting Director Bones about it, as befitting her position as Head of DMLE. However, what they find won't be anything normal in the slightest...

"A bathroom? Seriously?"
"This is where Moony says the smell is strongest. Maybe the door is just hidden?"
Jasmine wasn't the only one who looked moderately confused at their current location, though she was the first who noticed 'someone' peering around a stall door. "Oh, hello."
Bellatrix looked over. "That's Moaning Myrtle, and this is her bathroom. She was the only one that died the last time the Chamber was said to open."
Jasmine's expression turned sad upon hearing that.
Bellatrix then had a thought, and looked towards the sink opposite from Myrtle's stall. A proper inspection brought out an engraving of a snake in it.
Myrtle, upon noticing that, floated out and said "That one's never worked."
"Then this has got to be it." Bellatrix said as Amelia showed up, "Though I do not know exactly how we'll get in. I don't want to risk Jasmine if her..."
She trailed off as the wall opened into a man-sized circular tunnel, followed by stairs showing up.
She looked at Jasmine. "Did you have anything to do with this?"
But Jasmine was just confused. "I don't...think so?"
"Either way, be on your guard." Amelia said, wand at the ready. "We have no true idea what can be down there."
They slowly descended, Amelia's and Bellatrix's wands lit. They all were weary of what awaited them.
However, what none of them truly expected to first see upon arriving in a cavern was a rather long and big snake skin.
Bellatrix pinched the bridge of her nose. "It just had to be a basilisk, and a really big one at that."
"Merlin." Amelia agreed, "And we don't have anything to counter it, and before you start, young lady, it kills by eye contact. I doubt you're powerful enough to stop death itself."
Jasmine still pouted anyway, which did relieve the tension a bit.
A little bit later, and they found a door. Or rather...Bellatrix and Amelia found a closed door while Jasmine and Moony saw an open one. And when Jasmine attempted to get the attention of the two women, nothing happened. "Mama? Miss Bones?"
She turned towards to open path when she heard a giggle echo from it.
Gulping, Jasmine shared a glance with Moony before walking forward, water serving as stairs when she found a ladder as proper lights flared up, revealing a familiar set of red hair on the ground. "Ginny!"
Jasmine ran over quickly, only to be stopped by the hand of another. "She's not dead, if that's what you're wondering."
Said another was a teen girl with black hair down to her shoulder blades, red eyes, and black Hogwarts robes depicting Slytherin House.
"W-who? Who are you?" Jasmine asked, both a little nervous and shivering a bit from her touch. Just like in the dream.
The teen smiled fondly. "You can call me Teresa, Jasmine. And you are a rather intriguing child, my dear."
Teresa let go of Jasmine. "The Girl-Who-Lived, the Wish Maker, and the one who became more after a 'dip' of all things. Not to mention quite a pretty little thing."
Jasmine blushed at that, and it wasn't helped when Teresa gently traced a finger along her jaw line despite Moony growling. "T-thanks, but w-what about-"
"Ginny and Hermione?" Teresa asked, getting Jasmine's attention. "Yes, I'm responsible for both, as well as the minor fatigue the younger girls have been feeling during the year. I'm pretty sure that Seer friend mentioned something about that."
Jasmine pulled back while Teresa pulled out a book. "You have no idea what it was like to be trapped in this thing, but that fool left me a chance to figure a way out. And quite a better one than any of those foolish Dark Lords and Ladies try."
She opened the book. "One drop of blood from you, and I'll set both of them free. No strings attached."
Moony's growl intensified greatly, but Jasmine was actually considering it. If there was a chance for her friends...
Teresa made no motion that suggested she was lying, though a strange glint was in her eyes.
In the end, Jasmine sighed. "Are you sure they will be fine? No problems?"
"Nothing simple rest can't fix, I assure you." Teresa answered, "I've had fifty years to iron out the details."
Jasmine looked a bit hesitant still, but ultimately acquiesced, touching the open page which resulted in a small bite and a bit of blood being absorbed into the book.
Teresa took a deep breath, as though something came over her, before reaching into a pocket. "One last thing needed, and we're done hear. When you wake up, both will awaken not too long after."
"Wake up? What do you mean?" Jasmine's eyes widened as her face turned crimson when the robes dropped, leaving Teresa in a rather...unique set of 'undergarments,' "W-w-wha?!"
The teen walked to the edge of the pool right before the main statue in the room before turning around, open book and a big fang in hand. She smiled a bit hungrily before promptly tracing the tip on the inside and closing the book, suddenly lurching forward in pain before falling into the water with the book.
"WAIT!" Jasmine tried to move, only to feel something draining from her body, making her stumble and fall, landing her head on Ginny's stomach. What's...happening...?

"Jasmine!"
Jasmine groaned as she woke up. "Mama?"
Bellatrix quickly embraced the girl. "You're alright! I was so worried!"
"Tired..."
"Which is why you and Ms. Weasley will be heading straight to the Hospital Wing." Amelia cut in, supporting Ginny, who was feeling similar, "And when you're feeling fine, we'll be having a talk about your acting like you did, going on ahead."
Jasmine had the strength to look sad. "Sorry, but you didn't see me when I tried to tell you it was open."
Bellatrix sighed as she picked the girl and Moony up. "Still, you shouldn't have done that. You're lucky you weren't hurt."
Jasmine snuggled into Bellatrix as they moved out of the place.
The trip back to the surface was in silence, but it was once they were out of the bathroom that things got interesting again. "Mph!"
Bellatrix was the first to recognized the incoming figure. "Isn't that Percy Weasley, Ginny's...oh no."
"You recognize what's going on with him?" Amelia asked, only to find herself holding Jasmine and Moony.
Bellatrix quickly lashed out with a few spells, tying the teen boy up and knocking him out. Moving over to him, she growled. "It just had to be that one."
"What's going on with Percy?" Ginny asked, worried.
"While I never truly learned its named, but it's why I personally never saw the Imperious as an Unfogivable." Bellatrix explained, "This one doesn't effect the mind, forcing the victim to experience everything directly as their body obeys the caster. Can you imagine what it would be like, suddenly finding your body turned into a puppet, and you can't do anything about it?"
Her words sent shivers down their spines.
"Thankfully, however, there is a few catches. A proper hit to the head can free them, and while it can be given a set of instructions then let loose, you are generally forced to either attack from the back or keep the victims close to keep people from responding. The only thing that can keep him from directing us at the culprit is if they didn't give him any details to work off of."
While that didn't quite relax Amelia, she was content with what she just learned. Imperious was much more straightforward and close range, but it did take a bit more to snap the victim out of its grasp.
Ginny was able to start walking not too long afterwards, letting them more easily travel with an unconscious Percy to the Hospital Wing.
Jasmine was placed on the bed by a now stirring Hermione, Moony still in hand, while Bellatrix explained what she knew to Pomfrey. At least until the main door was opened again, this time letting in Dumbledore, Andromeda, and McGonagall.
Andromeda was the first to speak as she moved to Bellatrix "Everyone alright?"
"We got rather lucky. Girls just tired." Bellatrix summarized, "Percy, on the other hand, was hit with a dark spell that we dealt with."
"Might I ask what happened directly?" Dumbledore asked, subtly glancing around the room.
Bellatrix was a bit quick to say "Like we know. It was quick. At any rate, what's it to you? You didn't do anything before, so why start now?"
Ginny was silent until Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Amelia left, then asked "Um, Ms-"
"Trixie, if you don't mind."
"Ms. Trixie, do you know of anyone named Tom Riddle?"
Bellatrix stiffened. "...Where did you hear that name?"
"From Teresa."
Bellatrix, Andromeda, and Pomfrey looked at each other. "Who's Teresa?"

If any of them were at the bottom of the Black Lake by morning, then they would've heard a faint siren-like echo of a voice. "Beyond the ocean, a lighthouse is waiting for me. The Great Chain in motion beneath the waves of the sea. Into the city, all good things flow. The sweat on your brow is what you reap and sow. Forge you own fortune from salt and from sand. No god or kings..."
The merfolk inhabiting the Lake steered clear away from the source, which was a black book that had came down from Hogwarts a bit earlier, marked 'T.M. Riddle.' As the words came to an end, the book started shaking, sending faint waves of somewhat intimidating energy through the water. As sunlight finally 'reached' it, a hand covered in goop-like ink burst from its pages.
"Only man."
I will say this about Teresa: she didn't set that up for anything fancy, but this isn't the last seen of her, as indicated by the part at the end. She won't be an enemy, but she won't truly be a direct ally to Jasmine and Company. More like an acquaintance ally with her own agenda.
And as for her 'undergarments,' it's more of a bikini made of largely trailing cloth. But it won't be like that once she appears again in full physical form.
The whole bit with Percy is a bit of a random oc spell, hence why Bellatrix doesn't know the name. It isn't something that will truly show up again, except maybe in passing.
Until next time. Please let me know what you think.
