Hello again.
Here is the beginning of the new 'book,' focused on Teresa's 'gift' of James and Lily and the beginning thoughts of what it could mean for the future.
Don't own Harry Potter
Interesting times
Bellatrix could scarcely believe it, despite 'it' being right in front of her.
James Potter and Lily Potter nee Evans were sleeping in the repurposed warehouse, as though they were never dead (despite the fact they didn't look as though they had aged a day making it more like they had jumped through time).
She barely registered when Jasmine, Sirius, and Amelia joined her, let alone Amelia asking softly "Is this for real?"
"Yes." Bellatrix responded, "Everything checks out. They're back."
Jasmine handed her a cup of tea as Amelia helped her sit down. "How about you tell us everything."
Bellatrix had to take a moment before she began the tale, with Jasmine adding in her own part upon being prompted.
After both were done Amelia asked Jasmine "You mind if I have a cup as well?"
Jasmine just slid it over to her with a smile, tea still nice and warm. "Thank you, Jasmine."
"Me or the tea, because it's called Jasmine Tea." Jasmine tilted her head, which got a quick chuckle at the sudden and random info, "As far as James and Lily returning, however, we definitely need to go about this responsibly and quickly! The fact that they are alive will get people's attention alone. The rest of it will only makes things worse."
"And that's without the fact that this is pretty personal." Sirius added, completely serious as he joined the conversation.
Just then, Remus walked in. "I came as soon as I could. Also, Jasmine, a couple is outside asking for you."
Jasmine was quick to walk out and take care of the request.
Remus looked over at the sleeping couple for a few seconds, then looked over towards Bellatrix. "You do understand that we'll need to take this to the Goblins at the very least."
"And just how do you propose we do that without people knowing before we're secure?" Bellatrix responded, a little annoyed at the statement, "This isn't a simple case of walking in before anyone's awake, you know."
Remus deadpanned. "Did you seriously forget about being able to simply asking the goblins for help? They did make a portkey for when James had to go accept his Head of House Ring after the death of his parents."
"Yeah, I remember that." Sirius said, remembering when it happened, while Bellatrix facepalmed, having forgotten.
Just then, the sleeping duo stirred and Jasmine walked back in, the woman of the pair speaking first. "Ngh...Jasmine..."
Jasmine glanced at Bellatrix, only to notice a sign saying 'I'm Mama, she's Mommy.' "I'm here, Mommy."
She walked over, momentarily stopping as Bellatrix and Sirius had to steady them as they both suddenly jumped up into a sitting position. "Mommy? Daddy?"
"James, Lily." Sirius added, directing their attention with a calm voice, "Calm down if you want to learn anything, let alone be with your daughter again."
James glanced around, noting Jasmine and Bellatrix in particular, then looked back at his old friend. "Think we can do it over something to eat? What I see is about as insane as what I remember."
All four adults chuckled as Amelia walked towards the door. "I'll see about getting the goblins on board. The faster this is done, the faster you can become a family again."
"Thanks, Amy." Lily said, which got a little grumbling from Sirius.
Jasmine giggled after Bellatrix stage-whispered "Amelia doesn't like him calling her that, no matter what?"
A few minutes later, and Bellatrix was setting down a meal that they all dug into, Moony surprising James and Lily with the toy being able to eat as well while on Jasmine's head.
Bellatrix decided to start the conversation with her own particular piece. "To get it out of the way, you two agreeing to my 'request' had actually made me James' second wife by Ancient Law. Broke the Lestranges because of it."
"That explains how Jasmine sees you as a mother." Lily replied, "And I guess Azkaban helped you break free."
Bellatrix nodded. "Since I didn't know it at the time, the dementors couldn't take it from me. Though I definitely surprised them when I used one of our unique spells on the soul-suckers."
Lily noticed James' confused look. "We had made a way to combine explosions with a Patronus, long story short."
James blinked, eliciting Sirius, Remus, and Bellatrix snickering. "...and since when were you going to tell me?"
The snickering turned to laughter with Jasmine joining just because when Lily ever so innocently tilted her head. "I didn't tell you before? My mistake."
A mistake, it was not, which was quite obvious.
After the laughter died down, Bellatrix finally got to the big question. "So, do either of you have any idea just how you came back?"
Lily was the eventual first to speak...
XXLily's perspectiveXX
The first thing I remember was waking to silk sheets and the familiar warmth of James' body beside mine.
While the second detail wasn't particularly significant, considering what happened that night, but the first most certainly was.
Alongside me standing up when I died, the cottage definitely didn't have silk sheets.
Idly noting my clothes, I slowly sat up and looked around as James came to, only to tense when I heard a somewhat insane giggle off to the side.
Looking over revealed a girl in an...interesting outfit with some of the strangest skin I've ever seen on a human being (if she even was one).
"Glad to see you're awake, Mr. and Mrs. Potter." It was pretty obvious from the tone of her voice that we were dealing with someone not in their right mind, "It's clear that your daughter was destined to be a beauty."
Great, a nutjob obsessed with Jasmine.
"It was thanks to her that I could bring you back." The girl sighed in clear pleasure and desire, "Such a woman-to-be."
I immediately clasped James' mouth shut, knowing better than to try anything.
She then seemed to perk up from something as she licked her lips. "By the way, You might want to hurry on over to the river, where you'll find a warehouse with Jasmine's magic signature seemingly bright as day. This is my first time, so I have no real clue if you'll last past dawn should you not make it inside. And I really don't want to hurt her."
She giggled ominously as she faded away.
I looked at James, now glad we were clothed, and said "I don't know about you, but I'm not trusting her to not do something should we disobey. Let's just hope we find her safe and sound."
Didn't exactly expect the door opening into London, or the fact we were more on adrenaline than anything else. Although I am still angry over her last words before I fell asleep.
"So terribly sorry, but I lied about the possibility of you going back if you didn't make it. Kukuku..."

"I seriously have no idea just that girl was playing at, messing with both us and the dead." Lily growled some, needing a comforting hand from James to calm down.
Jasmine felt a shiver flow up then down her spine slowly as Lily had spoke, remembering the dream she had.
Bellatrix, in the meantime, said "That was most likely Teresa Marvel Riddle, who I have reason to believe might have once been a piece of the Dark Lord's soul. It's the only reason I can think of that she was originally within his school diary."
That got James and Lily's attention, with James asking "Just how the flipping heck does that work?"
Sirius was just taking a drink when Jasmine tilted her head slightly towards Moony, then spoke up with "'As a neck speck?'"
But he wasn't the only one that had to spittake in comedic surprise of the seemingly random comment, while Jasmine gave Moony a deadpan look. "Really?"
"I-i think," Bellatrix stifled a snort, "I think that was the point, Jasmine."
Jasmine tilted her head in confusion, only to childishly puff her cheeks when some laughter showed up in response. Meanies...
When they finally calmed down, Bellatrix sighed. "Either way, unfortunately, Teresa is for some reason 'interested' in Jasmine, and brought the two of you back in response to it. We need to keep vigilant for anything."
That sombered the mood right up, as she was correct. This was uncharted territory, even including dark magic.
Among other things, they really need to figure out the full extent of Jasmine's powers.
Jasmine suddenly stiffened and blushed as she felt a gentle finger trace up her spine, accompanied by a soft, sultry laugh in her ear.
She was just glad no one noticed besides Moony's soft questioning grumble.
Just then, Amelia returned with a goblin. "Everyone, this is Director Ragnok. He had...already been notified about their return."
"When two former clients return as you two apparently have, it tends to require a more personal touch." Ragnok told them, though it didn't quite reassure them.
Thankfully, confirming them official was all he did, and he didn't find anything problematic.
He at least understood when they explained things. "I see your apprehension. Rest assured, I will be taking measures to keep your confidence and do what I can to make sure people see the truth."
"That would be appreciated. Thank you, Director." James said, grateful for small mercies.
With that, the goblin and Amelia left.
Sirius, in regards to the ensuing silence, said "Well, I don't know about any of you, but I at least would prefer showing you two around modern day London while waiting for the final results. Not all that hard to make it look as though you're other people in the meantime."
Jasmine clapped her hands in anticipation, only to blink as glamours appeared over James and Lily, effectively turning them into the other in hair- and eye-color.
"Um...I don't think I did that." Jasmine eventually said, only to notice Remus smacking Sirius upside the head. A quick tilt of the head later, and she asked "He did it?"
"Yep." Remus said, largely exasperated from the timing, "He never truly was a patient person, especially when something had his attention."
Sirius pouted dramatically, which got the effect he wanted when Jasmine giggled.
While I admit the piece with the goblins will still need some fleshing out, the whole thing with Teresa on the other hand is rather simple. She spent practically fifty years stuck in a diary, with only occasional snippets from the original, so naturally that doesn't allow for proper development. Add in hearing, then learning, about Jasmine and her 'unique magic,' and you got a mess of a 'girl' who decided her choice of anchor for her sanity was Jasmine.
And now they're stuck with a form of yandere who desires the Potter Heiress, and is a wild card for all plans.
Until next time. Please let me know what you think.
