"Look everyone I think she's coming to." Says Zoey
"Thank goodness at least she's not in a coma," says Chloe
"Um... Is she supposed to be twitching like that? She looks like the dying roach that I saw in the girls' locker room! I don't know which is more DISGUSTING!" Said Mackenzie
"SHUT UP Mackenzie" Chloe and Zoey yelled
"You're the one that did this to her."
Yeah you could've gotten her killed
"Huh, what happened?" Nikki asked
She tried to sit up however she felt too sluggish to move
The gym teacher went to look at Nikki and said,
"Nikki's okay but still a little disoriented. Luckily, she doesn't have any broken bones, but maybe she'll feel okay when you get her up on her feet."
One girl takes her hand out and Nikki grabs it however in doing so she gets a painful headache
"ARGH!" Nikki yelps whilst holding her head
"OMG Nikki are you okay?!" Chloe exclaimed
"Y-yeah, just a little headache, but I feel a little sick," Nikki replied
"Chloe, Zoey could you please take Nikki to the nurse? She might be able to determine if she's okay."
"Right," Chloe and Zoey said
A few minutes later, Nikki is in the nurse's office whilst the nurse is checking out what's wrong with her.
"Hmmm," the nurse ponders ", as a safety precaution, I'll have to call your parents so that you can go home early and take it easy for the rest of the day."
Normally this would worry Nikki because that would mean riding home with her Dad's van with Max the roach on top of it and risk getting humiliated over it but in all honesty, she couldn't care less, she has a raging headache, the weird dream she can't stop thinking about and not only that she feels really sick too and not to mention the start of her day with Brianna's "secret recipe" her sweater being ruined by said secret recipe and getting humiliated over it that she just wants to go to bed and rest.
"Alright, then, can you call my Dad then?" Nikki asks
Ten minutes later, her Dad arrives to take her home. During the ride home, he asks, "How are you feeling now, Nikki?"
"Absolutely cruddy, Dad, I just want to go to sleep. This is probably one of, if not the worst, day of my life with the number of things I had to deal with in A single day", Nikki complained.
Her dad stayed silent since this was one of those times when she just needed to collect herself and be left alone.
After they arrive home, Nikki just goes upstairs to be in the comfort of her own bedroom so she can sleep; she doesn't even change into her pyjamas, heck she doesn't even write in her diary and that's something she always does even when she's tired. She just plops onto her bed and instantly drifts off to sleep.
