The group of six was having their rations for breakfast to start their day. While the meat was cooking, some of them were still sleepy from waking up so early because Six had called them regarding Nate.

"Dad, I love you and everything. But, Uggh! Did we have to wake up so early," Nora asked sleepily.

"Yes, we did, Nora," Six said. "Nate plans to go looking for his son, and I'm going with him."

"Sure? I don't mean to offend. But that doesn't give me any confidence," Pyrra answered, preparing the mutfruit for tea.

"I know, I don't like his attitude either, but I understand he's still taking it all in. Give him time, Pyrra."

"I'm going with you, Six; you need someone who can use words," Ruby replied, taking her rifle.

"Okay, but you have to know this. You can't show your faces." Six looked at them. "This is no longer the Mojave, no one here knows us, and we must remain as anonymous as possible."

"I agree with that," Weiss replied, reading a science book. "The RNC doesn't exist here. The next best thing would be the brotherhood, but who knows if they would get here."

Weiss's words were solid, and they decided to accept it.

"Only show your face in an emergency, so let's remain anonymous for now."

While waiting for them, Nate received a video on his Pip-Boy. from somewhere called Jacobstown. He was going to open it, but he was going to be meeting those accompanying him soon. So he would leave it for later; it wouldn't hurt to see it.

Nate goes to the old Red Rocket gas station with his companions: Ruby, Weiss, Jaune, and Blake, who decided to join the adventure. The boys chatted about mixed feelings in the Commonwealth. While he watched the surroundings, the new environment made him have mixed feelings. As they advanced, they reached the station that was among the ashes of the old world; it had managed to survive up to this point.

However, they heard something fall, everyone was alert after that.

"Jaune come with me; the others can search the surroundings" The group took out their weapons and checked the surroundings of the gas station. Nate entered the store to inspect the old garage where the pieces were on the floor or burned. Walking into the reception area, he saw some bitten-open cans of Cram. Upon close inspection, he was able to notice the animals' features due to the tooth gouges in the can.

"Clear," Nate said while getting up, but he was knocked to the ground by a giant rat. Nate fought it doing his best to get it away from his neck. Jaune kicked the animal and fired his rifle at it.

"Are you okay?" Jaune asked, helping him up.

"What was that thing?" Nate asked, catching his breath as he kicked the creature's body with his foot.

"Mole rat. Its fat is a good cooking oil," He said, taking out a kitchen knife to skin it and keep it in a rag.

"Isn't it dangerous to use?".

"Just make sure to cook it well to eliminate traces of radiation" He was going to walk away, but they saw holes open in the ground, revealing more mole rats. "Mole rat!".

Nate and Jaune backed away while shooting the rats. The rest meet again to keep them at bay. But more kept coming.

"Where do they keep coming from?" Ruby asked, using her gun against them.

"There must be a nest nearby!" Blake replied, firing the .45 submachine gun.

Luckily they managed to reduce their opponents, but the remaining came out bigger, indicating that they were alphas. One of them climbed on top of the reception table to jump to bite the neck of Six. But a dog turned the tables on it. After finishing the alphas, they saw a German shepherd killing the rat. Seeing them, he became defensive before the strangers. The group prepared their weapons in case he attacked.

"Wait" Nate raised his hand, signaling them not to shoot. "Does anyone have any food?"

"I have some gecko jerky," Six said as he handed over the item.

Nate inched closer until the dog snarled a warning. Being far away, he took a piece of meat from a leather bag to put it near him. The dog sniffed the object and ate a bit. The alert dog calmed down, but it was wary. He made the same movement so that it would eat a little. While eating, he took the opportunity to caress it and gain the dog's trust, who began to lick his face.

"I didn't know you were good with pets," Ruby said, approaching to caress the dog with more experience, who enjoyed it.

"I had a dog; one day, he left, and I never found him," Nate replied. "So dogs survived the bombs?" While noticing how Blake moved away from the can.

"Few, actually," Six mentioned. "Most became ghouls, and few have managed to domesticate them. The only ones that went extinct were cats."

"I understand," Ruby said while caressing the dog. She saw that he had a leaf tied around his neck. "will you allow me, boy" The dog sat down for her to take the sheet to see that it was a message.

We are surrounded by raiders at the Museum of Freedom! Let's help each other!

"The dog is a messenger!" Ruby said, showing the group the distress message.

"Let's not waste time," Six said, looking at the dog for directions. "Guide us, boy."

"Wow!" The dog got up and started running toward Concord while the others followed.

"Nate, any thoughts on this Museum of Freedom?" Nate narrowed his eyes slightly in frustration.

"The little I remember is that it is or was a museum that told the history of the United States."

As the sounds of gunshots continued, they began to be louder. Turning the street, they saw six raiders wearing dirty or torn clothes with pieces of metal or leather armor. They were shooting at a man on a balcony who was firing a laser rifle modified into a musket. The museum was intact except for a destroyed part of the roof.

"That's a lot of them," Jaune said as he checked his charger.

"I'll stay behind to give support; the others should try to get to the museum and help the people," Ruby said, getting behind some sandbags.

"Let's not waste time," Six said, taking out his medicine stick.

The group came out of hiding to provide support. Blake hit one in the neck, causing the remaining raiders to split up to keep them at bay. Jaune and Six started shooting while Nate, Blake, and the dog led the way.

Nate's military senses kicked in, and he started zigzagging to avoid the shots and take cover behind a red van. Blake took cover behind a nearby building.

Ruby shot a raider in the head who was shooting relentlessly at the car where Nate was hiding. When his companion fell, another raider was going to shoot at the van but was knocked down by the dog, who bit him on the arm so that Six, using his rifle, shot quickly to help the dog. The dog then ran to provide another distraction.

Nate came out of cover to take quick shots with his pistol, most of them missed, but he managed to get two to the abdomen and shoulder to pin down a raider so he could kill her. Jaune and Blake forced the third to turn around for support, but they only received a clean shot from Ruby as Dogmeat and Nate took down the last two.

"Up here! On the balcony!" the man shouted to the group. "I've got a group of colonists inside! The raiders are about to break in! Take the laser musket and help us! Please!" He said, going inside the building.

Nate approached a body in a gray vest and brown hat who had at his side a rifle similar in design to eighteenth-century muskets but had a laser battery attached and various parts to fire the beams. He took it and went inside with the others by kicking the door down, causing them to alert the raiders inside.

Blake distracted two on the first floor using her submachine gun.

"Keep moving. I'll distract them!"

The group entered from the right past two rooms with mannequins representing the most important moments in the history of the 13 colonies: driving away the British and the Boston Tea Party. A raider tried to surprise them, but Nate was faster to use the laser musket on him, leaving a nasty burn on his face as he fell into a hole in the ground. They went upstairs, and now the raiders on the second floor were trying to shoot Blake, who was taking cover behind a door.

Entering through another door, they heard two raiders talking in a room with a mural illustrating American history up to the resource war in Alaska.

"I'm telling you, buddy. Let's get the hell out of here. There's nothing to be gained by staying here and getting shot."

"Stop being a fucking fagot. We'll hold out for the others like we're supposed to."

"Are you deaf or what? There's someone shooting over there. I'm not going to stay here waiting to die."

"I swear to God, if you get an inch closer to the exit, I'll slit your throat myself. Now shut up, or we won't catch those guys."

Before the other could respond, the group filled them with bullets and continued advancing.

"When we kill your reinforcement, we'll go in and skin every single one of you!" shouted a raider on the other side.

The remaining three took cover against the pilgrims; they had lost another. The group entered by surprise and finished off the last ones that remained. As the building was clear, the door to the room was opened by a man in clothes similar to the continental army but white in color with a brown vest with a green scarf along with a light brown hat with a raised brim. His skin was brown with black eyes.

"Man, I don't know who you all are, but your timing is impeccable. Preston Garvey, Commonwealth Minutement ... or well, what left" He said, annoyed. "I guess Dogmeat found the right ones."

"I guess it's his dog," Ruby said, looking at him.

"No, he just approached our camp and followed us".

"Until now that we sent him with the message, he contributed something," I answered a mechanic inspecting the windows.

"Nice, Preston," Jaune said, shaking his hand. "What did the raiders want with you?"

"Kill us and do what they were ordered to do with us," said an annoying woman of Asian descent.

"Calm down, Marcy," The mechanic said. "I don't want to alarm you, but I saw a lookout running away... they'll most likely bring in reinforcements."

"Don't tell me to calm down, Sturges," Marcy said.

"Well, now we can die together," Nate said dryly. "The name is Nate Smith, and I hope you at least have a plan; the bullets will not last a fight of attrition."

"I would like that too. Upstairs there is the remains of a Vertbird, but the owner took the power armor along with the weapon it was carrying. So yes, we won't be getting any more help," Sturges said, irritated.

"Fantastic!" Marcy said she saw the group's clothes. "Maybe that vault dweller can talk to them, and the cowboy can bring the cavalry, the missionary read them bible verses, and the gentleman can hit them with his club," Marcy said sarcastically.

"Marcy, that's enough!" Preston stopped the woman who just leaned against the wall. "I'm sorry about that, but we have lost many men...good men," Preston said, respectfully lowering his hat.

Nate looked around. "Shit, I guess old habits die hard."

"What are you talking about?" asked Six.

"We'll do an old tactic to resist, but I'll need everyone, including the settlers."

"Right now, anything is a brilliant idea, buddy," Sturges said.

Nate approached a wooden table that was next to an old woman that was watching him. "This is the museum, putting a vase on the edge. "The church and the rest is the street," Putting a bill and an empty bottle.

"they will most likely come from the front," Preston said, looking at the improvised map.

"they could be. Ruby, you will be in the church to provide support. The colonists will stay in the church at the rear. Anyone who can fight will join in the fight. Jaune, I want you with me in the old store. Six with Blake and Dogmeat, I want you in the front of the door, you guys are more active in frantic combat, and Preston, I want you on the balcony," Pointing to the prominent ones with pieces of money. "We'll wait until they're close enough to surprise them."

"Sorry, who appointed you leader?" Marcy asked.

"You want the raiders to kill you? Don't you? Then shut up and follow the plan." He said, checking the ammunition of the musket, "Do you have a better weapon? The musket is good, but I am low on fusion cells."

"I have this," Six said, pulling out the All-American. Nate took it to inspect its condition.

"I'm surprised you managed to keep it in good shape."

"Thank the old residents of Vault 34."

With the plan established, only Sturges, Marcy, and Jun Long would help. They would stay in the museum using the raiders' old pipe guns. Preston behind the door, Ruby on top of the chapel, Jaune next to Nate in the tent, and the group of six behind some sacks.

It didn't take long for fifteen raiders to appear, led by one who wore a Brahman skull on his head. The group waited until they passed an old turbine for everyone to shoot, causing confusion and killing a few and causing the rest to take cover where they could.

"Keep firing!" Nate yelled, shooting anyone who came up.

"Let's force them back against the wall!" Six yelled, firing his medicine stick.

"Good! Stay down!" While a bullet hit the bricks.

"Any ideas in case the plan doesn't work?" Jaune asked, giving covering fire.

"We surrounded them and locked them up like rats," Nate said, shooting anything that moved.

"Aren't you good at shooting?"

"Try aiming while running for your life," Nate said, managing to kill one.

"Touche," Jaune said understandingly; the same was true in his early days in the Mojave.

Ruby focused on another and fired, then targeted another hiding in a blue house. Ruby turned her scope to see other looters moving from the left side of the street. Without thinking about it, she shot at the one in the lead.

"Sniper!" Said a raider who started shooting the church. "Jorgito! Kill that bastard!".

As Ruby covered herself as best she could and looked for a better spot, she saw a fragmentation grenade land at her feet.

"Shit!" Without thinking, she threw herself off the balcony then the grenade exploded. She managed to hold on to the hole in the ceiling. She could have used her semblance, but it would draw a lot of attention.

She got inside and saw a raider in a gas mask. Seeing her, he ran to kick her in the head.

"Son of a bitch!" He said, starting to choke her. "I'm going to give you pineapples!" Ruby quickly pulled her knife from her thigh and stabbed him in the abdomen, causing his grip to loosen, and pushed him off the 2nd floor.

"hey Jorgito, did you kill the sni-" Said another with the same gas mask; he then saw Jorgito unconscious. "Jorgito! Rebecca, cover me!" He said, starting to pull his partner along as the reaper entered.

Ruby took out her gun and pointed it at Rebecca's head, managing to kill her, she was going for both of them, but the other had escaped with Jorgito. "Shit!" she drew her antimatter rifle again and ran outside to provide cover.

The plan was working; the looters were forced to go to the wall, leaving those exposed. All it took was to finish off the rest.

After all the raiders were dead, we returned to the history museum. Nate noticed that Ruby had no bruises or scratches, which is odd because she was by a grenade that went off.

"It's been…awesome. Good thing they were on our side," Preston said, relieved.

"Is everyone okay?" Nate asked.

"Yeah, no one got hurt, as I thought."

"So, where are you heading?"

"We are heading to Sanctuary. Mama Murphy had a vision of a place that could be our new home."

"What's this about the Minutemen?" Blake asked.

"We are...or well, were. A group of people willing to protect the Wasteland from any threat. Protecting people in a matter of minutes, that was the idea. I joined to make a difference, but little by little, it got worse. Now It seems that I am the last one... We were twenty-eight, and now we are only five. First the ghouls in Lexington, and now this" He lowered his head after remembering the events.

"Unfortunately, that's how the world works," Six said, sympathizing with his pain.

"I know, but I know we can still fight. But for now, I have to worry about getting to Sanctuary."

"Yeah, I think we can take you; it's pretty close." Nate walked over to Preston. "So we'll be even."

"Heh, I couldn't disagree. Very well, we'll leave for Sanctuary."

"Fantastic! But your destiny is complicated, isn't it? I've seen it. The emptiness in your heart."

"What are you talking about, ma'am?" Nate was confused by what she was saying.

"she's going to talk about her 'vision' again!" Marcy said irritably.

"Vision?" Blake asked, confused.

"It's an ability Mom Murphy has to see things. Thanks to her, we found out about Sanctuary."

"You are a man without time. Without hope. But all is not lost. I feel... the energy of your son. He is alive."

"My God! I knew it! Tell me where he is?!" Said Nate, hopeful of what the lady said.

"Ah, I wish I knew that, child. Really. But I can't see your son- I just... feel his life force, his energy. He's out there. And I don't need the Sight to know where you should start looking. The great green jewel of the Commonwealth Diamond City is the largest settlement in the area.

"Where is that?" asked Jaune.

"It is located in the center of Boston but is very dangerous. Raiders, Super mutants, and Gunners are everywhere," Sturges answered Jaune.

"I will find my son there?".

"Look, kid, I'm tired. I might have a clearer vision if you bring me some Jet."

"No, Mama Murphy, we've already talked about that. That shit...will kill you," Preston said, annoyed.

"Ah, hush Preston. We all die sooner or later. We will need the Vision. And Our new friends will use it."

"But I also see something else" Looking at the group of six. "I feel the life force of more members, but I also feel that their ideals will affect the future," she said, only to feel a pain in her head.

"Calm down, Mama Murphy. Very well, it's time to go to Sanctuary, not far from here. Our friends cleared the way.

"Are we going to follow the visions of an old woman with dementia?" Marcy said irritably. "Your 'Vision' has only caused us trouble, one after another."

"Marcy, I understand your concerns, but we don't have to worry."

"I'll give you something to worry about," She said, getting up ready to hit Preston, but Ruby stopped her.

"Calm down, calm down. Everyone calm down," Sturges said to everyone. "We're in this together, right? Marcy, do you have any better ideas?" She just crossed her arms in annoyance. "Someone? Well, then to Sanctuary" The group got up to leave.

Nate saw the group of settlers leaving. "Problem Group?".

"Unfortunately, yes, so what's the next move?" Ruby asked.

"For now, they took Sanctuary and then...I don't know. I don't quite remember, but if they say it's dangerous, I'll need better equipment and maybe more of those caps," Nate said with a sigh. "Come on, let's go.".

The group took care of the settlers during the walk.

"Hey, Nate, can we talk?" Preston

"Sure," he said, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly.

"I should have listened to Mama Murphy a long time ago. It's a good place. It's perfect for our new home. What do you think?"

"Yeah. I used to live here a long time ago." Nate turned to look at his home, still adapted to the new world.

"What do you mean by that? Did you live here or something?" I asked Preston, surprised.

"I used to live here before the war...before everything was destroyed."

"What war are you referring to?"

"I lived here... more than 200 years ago. I was... frozen or something like that all this time. I woke up very recently, thanks to the group."

"Fuck! Like the old ghouls. You say they froze you... Was anyone else saved, apart from you?"-

"Only my son; he was taken away during my confinement. Have you come across someone with a baby?"

"I'm not sorry, but I'll be there…wait, I think I remember something. The last camp I was there was a wanderer who mentioned a shopkeeper who set up shop near the starlight drive-in and said there was a guy with a baby."

"Thanks, Preston, I'll get going" Nate felt relieved; on the one hand, he would have extra data on the kidnapper, and he could trade some things when he got there.

"You're welcome. Hey, I'd like to propose something to you."

"Tell me what it is.".

"I want to rebuild the Minutment, but to be done, it needs allies, and what better than some settlements."

"Okay, it's the least I can do for you."

"Very good, for now, I will help the settlers to make this old neighborhood more pleasant," He said, lowering the crown of his hat to say goodbye and cross the old bridge. Nate would just watch Preston leave.

"What would you say about this, Nora? Going back to old habits?" He said, then chuckled mirthlessly. "But don't worry, when I find that bastard, I'll tell him your name," He said, following the path to talk to Six, who was playing with some small children.

"They are your children?" Nate asked.

"Nah, they are the children of Jaune and Phyrra," Six said with a smile. The children hearing an adult conversation, went to play in the park's remains.

"They look so innocent," Nate admitted.

"Yes, it is uncommon to find children not marked by the wasteland."

"And I guess the rest are your children."

"Even on the other side of the country, people keep thinking that," He whispered, a little annoyed. "Foster sons Nate."

"What would your parents say when they saw them?" Trying to cheer him up.

"If I could remember them," He said, shrugging his shoulders. "Now, why are you being more sociable?"

"You got me. I have a small lead on my son and a good place to trade."

"And I suppose we will march there?"

"That's the idea, besides I'm going to help Preston on a little mission, and I'm looking for someone who can cover my back."

He was going to propose that they ended up together, but he thought he should trust the rest like he did today, so he thought of who would be helpful. Nora is unpredictable, Jaune and Phyrra are busy with their kids, and Weiss is talking to Ruby and Ren...he might be helpful.

"Take Ren with you. He'll be useful," Pointing at him. Nate only saw the typical greaser in a jacket, but with experience in the Wasteland.

"Okay, tell the others they can improve Sanctuary to the best of their ability. We'll do that and bring what we find useful."

"you learned fast."

"I learned from the best," Nate said sarcastically. "See you later, Six," He said, going to Ren, who saw him.

Several monitors show different camera views in a reasonably clean place. And a person sitting in front of some monitors he pressed a button.

"Call Father and tell him that subject B is awake and not alone," said the man seeing the little monkeys, the cowboy, and his colorful group.

I decided to remove the part of the power armor, the machine gun, and the deathclaw because I thought it wasted those elements. I also decided to give depth to the holotape where the soldier took it. If his vertibird fell, it must be logical that he did not remove it to survive the radiation and use the machine gun to defend himself or a scavenger take it. The deathclaw is best if it is challenging rather than an occasional enemy. The colonists gave support apart from Preston. And these two raiders with the word "pineaples" have more sense in the spanish version, because they are argentinian and spanish is different.
