Pokemon who were abandon by their trainers, are being given to Ash ketchum, a 14 year old who is just starting his pokemon journey! Can he get them to trust him and become close friends to another on his quest?

39. Chapter 39

Authors disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon. Okay I need to take a small break from writing eheh, haven't stopped writing when I got Chapter 10 and 11 done for One piece to then this one as well. As my hands are kind of cramping up. Anyway- I had somewhat struggling time figuring out how this chapter should turn out. But then said "Fudge it", and go with the flow and do something completely different and do something with the Pokemon in this chapter.

But also making sure to fill that requrement of Ash catching or getting a flying type Pokemon. In which almost every season of the anime, he always or must have at least 1 flying type Pokemon. But I decided to go with a twist on this one and make the chapter be more than that.

Also, as a heads up I am going to do a chapter about that Exeggutor episode with Robert and Leaf in the next chapter. In order to show what they been up to after separating from Ash at cycling road after he caught Mawile. As stories even though do need to showcase what the other characters are up to and the likes. Especially rival characters in the Pokemon series, in order to show and display what kind of fight to expect when I do reach the Pokemon league and hopefully when I get there. Make the fights epic as possible.

So yeah, there are only two more captures left for Ash on his journey as well the Pokemon egg hatching as well. I am going to push things forward and get Ash getting the rest of the badges, considering well...I want tomake up for lst time and get things moving now and get our characters at the Pokemon league. So yeah, hope you all look forward to the future chapters and updates as well the epic battles that are about to come your way with the Volcano badge- I already have planned it being a double battle. On the account of Blaine's behavior and attitude from the anime [which I forgot how tame LT surge was compare to him] especially threatening to revoke Ash as a Pokemon trainer. Because the way he made his gym and even willing to have Pikachu fall into the lava? Yeah- makes me question the Pokemon committee decision on him XD

Chapter 39: Aero Me Fossils!

It is a bright and beautiful morning in the Kanto region as our hero Ash Ketchum, is making his way over to the Fuchsia city docks after traversing through roads and mountain ways and it being about 2 hours away from Fuchsia city. Our young Pokemon master is about to enter the mountain region within the area. There an unexpected event is about to happen to him and his Pokemon.

"Hmm? What's going on over there?" Ash suddenly said and felt Pikachu climbing up his back and onto his shoulder and peeking over his head, with Buneary doing the same as they both cooed out and noticed a line and rows of people traveling with hard hats and pickaxes in their hats. "Huh, wonder why everyone is carrying those pickaxes and shovels?" Ash hummed and crossed his arms, then blinking his brown eyes when he heard a familiar voice from behind.

"Well, well if it isn't Ashy boy! I am surprised to see your face around here, loser." Cackled a taunting voice and made Ash turn around and see who it was, which with the brown spiky hair and archaeologist looking clothing, it was Gary oak! "I see you're still wasting time and trailing behind as ever." Laughing at the boy but still smiling and fist bumping with Ash, when Ash approached and smiled back. "Looks like you're taking good care of yourself though."

"Hey Gary," Ash said with a sarcasm tone and chuckled. "Yeah, we're getting by without any worries. I am about to head towards the docks but…" Ash then turned sideways and had Gary humming and leaning to the right and saw the row of people. "You know what is happening here?" The young teen asked and turned back to Gary and nodded.

"Man you are definitely slow on the uptake, but can't blame you for not knowing." Gary taunted out and rested the pickaxe onto the ground. "You heard? There has been recent discovery of fossil Pokemon sightings around these parts." He informed Ash and chuckled. "A loser like you probably wouldn't even know what a fossil will look like." Then flipped his hair lightly and then grinned cockily. "And with the recent discovery people from all over Kanto are on a fossil expedition to dig up said fossil Pokemon. And if you're lucky to find one, you then can't take it to the labs on Cinnabar island to revive the fossilized Pokemon!"

"Piii"

"Nary?" Both Pikachu and Buneary said and tilted their heads in confusion of what that entails. Having Ash stare wide-eyed and in excitement.

"For real?! Bringing back fossil Pokemon from thousands of years ago!?" Ash then paused and look up in thought and saw Gary humming when he asked. "Hey…if that's true and Oak wanted to fill out the Pokedex? How…would one even register fossil Pokemon from the past, if we didn't have the technology at the time Oak traveled as a trainer?"

This had Gary pausing for a brief moment and had his mouth open for a brief while before closing it and blinking his eyes. "That's…actually a good question?" Gary then looked to the side. "How would Grandpa even get data on them…let alone how would the Pokedex…" then rapidly shakes his head. "ARGh, now is not the time to question the schematics of how the Pokedex works."

Then lightly lifts the pickaxe and pokes it against Ash's chest and has him step backwards. "Anyway Ashy boy, if you are thinking of trying to find fossil Pokemon. You might as well forget it!" He cockily said and swung the pickaxe over his shoulder. "I will be the one finding them all! Isn't that right girls!" Gary said and turned to his cheerleaders.

"Gary, Gary, he's our man, he will get the fossils and get them all!" They all cheered minus one who was looking miserable and had everyone looking at her and then watch her look at them and then to Gary and Ash.

"Oh…uh…yay?" The girl said lazily. "Sorry…the heat is really bad, I can't handle high temperatures." She giggled lightly, having everyone chuckled with sweat drops.

"Ah no worries, you can head back to the hotel then. We will come and get ya if we discover anything." Gary said and saw her nodding in appreciation and began heading back while groaning and mumbling about the heat. Having Gary turn to Ash and see him lifting a finger as Gary says. "Err…well she's kind of new, but I don't blame her, not everyone can handle hot weather and since we're in the mountains." Gary finished while pointing upwards. Having Ash, Pikachu and Buneary to nod in understanding. "Anyway Ashy boy, see you at the digging site and have bad luck finding fossils HAHAHAHA." Gary cackled out and began walking with the large group heading over to the digging site.

Leaving the trio there to hum and look at the large group. With Ash sighing and rubbing the back of his neck, while then looking at his two Pokemon. "Well what do you say guys? Shall we go and grab some equipment and find ourselves a Pokemon Fossil?" Ash chuckled and smiled and then pumped his arms. "As well show that cocky Gary that I am no loser and we will find and get a fossil Pokemon!" Ash declared and had Pikachu and Buneary to have collective sweat drops and chuckling to each other. While then holding onto his neck as Ash began rushing forward and joining within the large group and heading over to the digging site.

After doing so and reaching the dig site and meeting with the officials like Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy, who are also there to watch over things. Making sure no fights happen or people getting injured or pestering one another while they go and dig and look for the fossils. Ash was fortunate enough to manage to get a digging tool of a shovel and pickaxe. All the while having a designated digging spot just for him and his Pokemon. The sun was beating down harshly within the mountainous region, as the sun rays beamed down from the sky and heated the brown slash tan like rocks, mountain sides and roads. Definitely a hot day today for everyone who is working and digging into the ground in hopes of finding a fossil Pokemon.

An hour has gone by as Ash and his partner Pokemon were carefully picking away at the ground in hopes of finding any type of fossils let alone anything in the ground. Ash groaned after swinging his pickaxe down once more and then raised his arm over his forehead and wiped away the sweat. "Ugh…I am not having any luck here, how much or how far do we need to dig into the ground to find a fossil?" He mutters lightly and grabs the water bottle and drinks it. While then turning to Pikachu and Buneary. "What about you guys, have you found any?" He asked.

Watching them lifting their cute tiny pickaxes and groaning lightly as Pikachu shook his head and whined out how he couldn't find anything. While Buneary huffed and swung her arm about and just pointed at the stuff she did find but were or did not look like fossils at all. Multi color look shards of Red, Blue, Green and yellow. A large gold nugget and a small nugget, with some evolution stones. In which she sighs and shakes her head as she goes over to them and starts picking them up and bringing them over towards Ash.

"Thanks Buneary, we could probably have some use for these? But for now let's keep looking." Ash said and then pocket the items into his bag and then hummed when Buneary began lifting and lowering her arms.

"Buneary, aery?" She cooed out and tilted her head asking what does a fossil even look like? Making Ash turn to her and then cross his arms and hummed. He honestly didn't know what a Pokemon fossil looked like himself, he heard of them but never saw any pictures.

"Huh good question Buneary, maybe Dexter might know." Ash says and grabs his Pokedex and pulls it out of his jacket pockets and opens it up. "Dexter, do you know anything about Fossil Pokemon? Or what the Fossil looks like?" He asked the device and heard it beep from hearing Ash's voice and brought up images on the screen.

"Fossil Pokemon, before reviving them, are identical to the images I am sharing right now. These Fossils known in Kanto are the Amber fossil, Dome Fossil and Helix Fossil. There are more fossils in other regions with their own Fossil Pokemon. Each Fossil contains the current Pokemon known as, Aerodactyl, Kabuto and Omanyte."

Ash then saw the images and faced it towards Pikachu and Buneary, who cooed and looked at it. "Well this is what the three look like here in Kanto." Ash said and then brought the Pokedex back to himself. "Hmm, maybe we should have more help from the other girls and see if they can be more successful than us four." Ash smiled and had Pikachu and Buneary nodding as he grabbed his Pokeballs and threw them into the air. "Everyone come on out and help us out!" Ash called out Gardevoir, Blaziken, Lilligant, Lopunny and Meowzy all appearing before Ash and the smaller Pokemon. In which Buneary happily hops over to her sister who scooped her up and tossed her about, with the others smiling and giggling at the sight.

"Alright everyone, this is what we're looking for as people have said there are Fossil Pokemon around the area. We just need to dig and see if we get lucky at finding them." Ash said and had everyone blinking their eyes and humming lightly, then looking towards Lilligant who happily eyes smiles and pat her right breasts in a happy chirp. Saying she knows exactly what to do!

They all watch her skip over towards one of the pickaxes and try lifting it up. But let out a grunt and slip her hands from it and stagger backwards from it. Causing her skirt to fly upwards a bit and then back down against her plump thighs. Making her huff lightly and approaching the pickaxe again and trying again to lift it up. But was having a hard time doing so, let alone it wouldn't budge or move. The female Pokemon could be heard straining herself and face going slightly purple as if she was pulling with all her might as she then yelped and fell backwards!

Causing her breasts to fly about and clap against one another through her small poncho shirt, and spreading her skirt split apart and exposing her pelvis and pussy area along with her toned legs and thighs. The Pickaxe she tried pulling flew backwards and had everyone moving out of the way from the tool hitting them and watched it slam right into a nearby mountain wall and had it crumble down into rubble with relative ease! Making all the Pokemon and Ash to stare owlishly of how easily the small mountain wall broke and crumbled from the force of the pickaxe and then turned towards Lilligant, who rolled onto her front and her orange eyes blinking at the sight and then sheepishly eye smiles and rub the back of her head and garland.

Ash chuckled lightly and said, "Maybe we should give you a shovel Lilligant. Your klutziness might injure someone." Ash said to her and saw her blushing sheepishly while getting back up and nodding her head. In which MEowzy meowed out how that might be for the best. Once they settled down and recovered from almost getting hit by the Pickaxe and…apparently Lilligant incredible strength. Everyone got a shovel or a pickaxe to use and began digging around the designated spot Ash was assigned too. All chipping away at the ground and being mindful with their health and such, especially with the heat besting down on them.

They toiled away and weren't making any success as Gardevoir, who was in her little area kept getting weird slabs and such that she tosses them aside with her psychic powers, one of purple color, one of pink color and one of green color slabs with ancient markings and writings on them. While growling annoyingly as she also kept getting Thunder stones for some reason and literally yeet them far away from her and Pikachu as much as possible.

Blaziken wasn't fairing any better as the Fire/Fighting starter kept getting hard stones over and over, items that help boost rock type moves. Ot Rocky helmet and even some Kings rocks, which the Pokemon growled and just tossed them aside and began piling them up and shaking her head of how she needs to find a Fossil, not some random junk.

Lopunny and Buneary, like her little sister, kept getting nuggets after nuggets whenever they dig and strike the ground. Even shoveling them up too- the rabbit Pokemon shook their heads and just tossed the nugget into piles of garbage they had personally stockpiled figuring to just get rid of them when they got a chance and continued digging.

Pikachu and Meowzy decided to work together and all they kept getting besides nothing was an abundance of Sun stones or even Moonstones. Making the two of them look at each and groan lightly and just toss the items behind them. As they went ahead and used their tiny tools to resume digging and such. While hearing and watching Lilligant in the distance who is just having a blast, and digging up anything she finds and cooing out and happily walking over to Ash and handing him whatever it is she finds and goes back skipping to her spot and resume digging.

Having Ash to chuckle lightly and just pocket more of the stuff into his bag and go back to digging. Then they all stop and hear what sounded like Gary's cheerleaders cheering as if Gary had found something, making the girls Pikachu and Ash walk over and peek around the mountain boulder and listen in on what it is Gary discovered. Then nearly burst into laughter and giggles when they heard that Gary had found fossilized manure. They went ahead and went back to their digging spots and continued.,

After another hour passed however, Lopunny let out a shrill of frustration and slammed her pickaxe down hard! Throwing a tantrum and rapidly moving her hands all over her fur and assets, even lightly pulling a bit of her fur out, screaming out how she's literally shedding fur from this intense heat and humid air. That she sat down and crossed her legs and even ehr arms, lifting her head up in defiance of not wanting to continue anymore! Making Buneary tough and shaking at her sister's impatience.

This had the other Pokemon stopping too and sighing in exhaustion and tiredness, as the heat was unbearable and the rocky terrain wasn't helping either and began approaching Ash looking sweaty and tired, as Gardevoir is even struggling to keep her already tight forming white dress. Squeezing and tightening against her ample breasts, that even her nipples could be seen through the slightly sweat drenched green vest part of her dress. With her green hair clinging and not being their bouncy healthy sheen. Blaziken however didn't look too bothered or sweaty for being part fire type, the heat and humidity isn't affecting her too much. But there was some sweat drenching from her feathers, especially around her own breasts as a bit of pinkness can be seen from her nipples.

Same for Pikachu, Meowzy and Lilligant who too were drenched in sweat and lightly tired came over to Ash and happily thanked him of pouring some more water and handing them some bottles to Lopunny who finally stomped her way over and basically yank the water bottle form Ash and began drinking it, to then splashing it over her head and such. Unintentionally having her fur cling to her body and showing off her assets to everyone. With Ash sighing and drinking his water bottle and lightly gasping. "This is ridiculous, you think by now we would've found some fossil…or anything! Besides those." Ash said and pointed at the piles of items they all found during their digging.

Making the girls and Pikachu nod and lightly groan while then turning to the boy with lightly disappointed expressions as they weren't having any luck. In which the raven haired boy look towards the other groups who all seemed to begin taking breaks and muttering and speaking to themselves. Indicating they themselves weren't having any luck whatsoever, let alone if they have discovered any type of fossil.

It was definitely concerning considering no doubt people will start leaving and giving up soon. On account they have been wasting almost three hours here digging, let alone who knows how far they had been traveling to reach this site. Ash turns back to the girls and sighs, "Sorry everyone…I thought we could find some fossils. But all I did was waste our time and efforts, instead of heading straight towards the docks and getting to Cinnabar island." He said and saw his Pokemon shaking their heads, letting him know its alright. Though Lopunny chirp in honest, before getting elbowed by Blaziken, making the rabbit grunt out and glare to her and both bash foreheads together as Lopunny dared her to do that again, and Blaizken grinning replying back saying how it will be easy.

Making Ash to deadpan and laughed, "It's alright Blaziken, Lopunny has every right to be frustrated. After all-" He laughed and saw Lopunny flipping her ears and proudly looking upwards. Making Blaziken to shake her head but laugh when Ash continued saying, "IF anything we know she loves battling and the excitement of battles. And she has been itching to do another Gym battle after the fight with Erika." Ash said and saw her nodding her head rapidly and wiggling her ass left to right, while then pushing her breasts outwards and grinned widely. "Even though from what I study on Blaine- who will be our next gym battle. Uses probably Fire type Pokemon. So we better be ready for it, as well help Greninja get up there too."

Meowzy then meowed out and waved her hand about, asking to enter the gym fight too. She then went and ran over towards one of the boulders nearby, her moderate c cup breasts bouncing within her fur, with her moderately yet plump ass jiggled as she got into a fighting pose and began gathering energy around her hands as she gather them next to each other, and then bright lights began gathering between her hands and then thrust it forward! Firing off an energy white ball that exploded and splintered into rocks! Using Power gem a rock type move that will be good against Fire type Pokemon!

Ash and the girls gasp in amazement along with Pikachu, seeing a move Meowth somehow managed to learn during their travels and battles against other Pokemon trainers along the road, as she turned and grinned widely in giddiness and began blushing and happily folding her hands together as Ash praised her. "Wow that was, Power gem attack! Meowzy, when did you learn that move?" Ash asked and saw her looking up in thought while crossing her one arm, underneath to her right elbow and then smiled.

"Nya, meowth!" While raising three fingers into the air and doing a motion of walking backwards as if saying she learned it three days ago when they fought some trainers before coming here. "Nya, meowth, oath!" She continued meowing and cooing out. While then rubbing the back of her head s everyone were congratulating and saying how that move can definitely be useful for the Fire type gym!

Although before Ash could ask Meowzy to demonstrate the move again. They heard what sounded like machinery in the distance all of the sudden. In which all of them feel the ground shaking and vibrating underneath them. Nearly having them lose their footing and such, although Lilligant kept falling forward and backwards whenever she tried getting up from her fall and constantly throwing her assets about when doing so and getting swirls in her eyes from the dizzying motions of the earth.

After the trembling had stopped and the noises of the machinery as well disappeared. Ash and his Pokemon went ahead and decided to go check it out. Wondering what in the world is going on, let alone do the people who are using heavy machinery know that they will be endangering everyone here let alone, possibly even destroying the Pokemon Fossils as well. As they go and investigate, a couple distance away where there were a few trees around with slightly brown but also green leaves on the tree branches as it was slowly dying from lack of water and such.

Had an Avian flying type Pokemon to lightly hop out from the thick and nestled bushes and shake its head and groan lightly from being woken up by loud noises. It didn't mind the pickaxes and light shouts here and there from the humans and other Pokemon. Considering it is use to traveling trainers and wild Pokemon being loud. But THAT- those weird noises it wasn't used too and had the flying type Pokemon irritated and annoyed that someone is causing a lot of ruckus.

When the Pokemon cleared up its eyes and blinked them to get the grogginess away. It chirped and widened its eyes at the sight of that young trainer it sawed a couple months back! Heading in the directions of where the loud noises were coming from, while his Pokemon followed right behind him. The flying type Pokemon couldn't believe that it would see him again, "Pidgeo?" It tilted it's head and then began flapping its wings and began flying up into the sky. The Pokemon name is Pidgeotto- the second evolution of Pidgey. Pidgeotto flew into the air and began looking downwards to where the boy was and then towards the direction of the loud noises coming from and saw a very large menacing machine, accompanied by two fully grown adults controlling it and operating it. Having the Pidgeotto to wonder what they're up to, as well hoping the young teenager will be fine when facing them.

Said two adults, one female, one male, were adjusting and pressing on buttons of thor devices. Having the large drill like machine of theirs to tilt and start whirring about and spinning rapidly as it then begins pushing down against the ground and starts drilling away! Sending rocks and debris everywhere alongside large amounts of brown and clay-like dust to fly everywhere too. The female who has blonde hair and twin-pigtails was wearing the team Rocket uniform. With a black shirt-like skirt, with white knee length boots and below length white gloves. Wearing pink triangle-shape like earrings on her ears and having elbow length gloves.

Begins laughing and lightly leans against the chair her partner was sitting in as he was operating the drill and paying close attention to their radar screen that's on the console. ""I have to say, it was pretty smart of the boss to go and announce a digging expedition to go and discover where the fossils are." Came the woman's voice as she crossed her arms and grinned. "Too bad the dumb fools are giving the wrong location of where the fossils actually were. While we Team rocket, know the exact location and where to dig."

The man that was piloting the figging machine, cackled along with the blonde-hair woman as he responded back. "That's for certain Cassidy. Those idiots digging away in the wrong location and believing they will find fossils. Is a brilliant plan from the boss and allows us to gather the fossil Pokemon all for ourselves." The teal-colored hair man said and looked up to his partner. "Good thing we made a specialized driller that scoops the fossils up and does not destroy them. Otherwise we would definitely have problems being able to revive the fossil Pokemon if we're not careful."

"You said it Bobbyo." Cassidy said and had the man grumble under his breath, whispering out how his name is not Bobbyo but Butch. Then felt Cassidy slapping his back, "Just be sure to stop the drill if we do find any fossils. Cause if we do find one or even a hint of any of them within these grounds. We must immediately report to the boss." She inquired while looking around the surrounding area and huffed. "It's annoying enough that this is a barren wasteland, but could the heat be any worse than it was yesterday."

"Tell me about it, just be glad we decided to do it today rather than yesterday or tomorrow." Butch said while looking up towards the sun. "I heard the heat would've been in the 80s and 90s between the two days. Making it the worst time to start digging and drilling." He said and focused back to his radar on the screen and continued moving the machine about as it rumbled and shook the entire area around them as debris continued flying off everywhere.

"Yeah, anyway." Cassidy then hops off the machine and looks up towards Butch. "I am going to grab some drinks, which one do you want, Carl?" She asked and heard him slamming his forehead against the face-desk of the machinery and growled out his name once more but groaned.

"Grab me a Lemonade." He growled out and then gritted his teeth as she nodded and told Billy she will be back, making him mutter under his breath once more and saying how his name is not Billy, not Carl, nor Bobbyo but BUTCH! While the team rocket grunts who are in their black uniform are working away and doing their job of finding the fossils. They were being overheard and listened to by Ash, Pikachu and Buneary- as the boy had recalled the girls back into their Pokeballs, so they wouldn't be caught or seen by whoever is running that giant drill of theirs.

When they heard everything, Ash and his Pokemon were hiding behind the giant boulder. Knelt down and watch Pikachu and b=Buneary hopping off from his shoulders and looking towards Ash."So, Team Rocket's boss is the one who tipped off everyone about there being fossils here. But, using the rumor mill to trick people into digging somewhere else. While they go and profit from finding the real fossils." Ash informed Pikachu, having Pikachu crossing his arms and pursing his lips to the side. While Buneary, grabbed her right ear and tugged it downwards cutely and stroked it.

Ash then sighed, "But I don't know if we should tell Officer Jenny or not. If we did, it could cause problems for everyone." Ash continued saying while he then leans back to look around the boulders, seeing that Cassidy woman walking back to the man and bringing the drinks to him as she climbs back onto the drilling machine and rests against walls of the interior of the machine. "They could use the drill to attack the people and such, if we bring them here and even Pokemon too. So that's out of the question." Ash then turned to Pikachu who began speaking.

"Pikapi, Pikachu, chu pikaaaaaaaa." Pikachu said and began wiggling his finger against his throat to replicate stuttering to then going on all fours and slapping his paw against the ground. Indicating that the machine could easily break open the earth and cause people to fall into it and possibly even get buried. Having Buneary throwing her ears upwards and gasping at the thought and idea of both Pokemon and humans, falling down into an open crevice and being buried alive!

"Very good point Pikachu, they could definitely do that and that will be no good." Ash said and rubbed his buddies head and then pulled away and crossed his arms. "I guess we will have to handle this ourselves. Make sure that they don't try anything drastic and head over to the dig site." He then looked towards the direction of where everyone was digging and toiling away. "Especially Gary and his Cheerleaders…Much as Gary is a capable trainer, much I hate admitting it." Ash spat out the last part getting some chuckles and laughter from Pikachu and Buneary. "Even he will get overwhelmed by the shaking and digging of the machine as it moves about." He said and then got up and looked across the boulder and hummed. "Well one thing for sure, we have to stop them, especially getting the fossils for themselves. As everyone came here in hopes of finding one. What do you say?" Ash then turned towards the two and saw them nodding their heads.

After the decision was made and wanting to stop Team Rocket from ruining everyone's hard work. Ash and his Pokemon ran around the boulder and started heading in the direction of Cassidy and Butch. Who were now a couple distance more away from the false digging site and both blinked their eyes and began smiling when they started picking up on signals on their radar! "Oh wow, I think we finally found some fossils!" Butch shouted and had Cassidy leaning forward to get a good look at the radar and indeed, little bleeps were showing up on their radar.

"Oh wow we finally found them." But they were interrupted by someone shouting towards them, followed by a Thunderbolt attack flying through the air and causing the two to yelp and immediately jump out of the digging machine, and watch the thunderbolt hit the console and blew up the screen. Causing the two who jump out of the piloting seat, to whip around and widen their eyes. "NO! ARGH WHO DARES!" Cassidy shouted and both turned their attention towards their attacker and saw it was a teenage brat. "Who the hell are you!"

"Like I am going to tell you my name, give it up. Team Rocket." Ash then thrusted his hand forward and pointed at them. "I overheard your plan and how you trick everyone into a false digging spot of this mountain range. So that you can have the fossils all for yourselves and deliver them to your boss." He shouted and had Pikachu and Buneary stand beside him ready to fight and attack, though all three blinked their eyes as Cassidy and Butch didn't look impressed or even threatened as Cassidy crossed her arms and leaned forward.

"And what…what are you going to do if you found out our secret?" Cassidy said while drumming a finger against her forearm and laughed. "Do you think anyone will believe you if you were to return back to the group and told them how it was a team rocket who tricked them into thinking the spot they were digging at was a fake sighting?"

Then Butch placed his fists against his hips and laughed. "Not only that but considering it was OUR boss, who is the anonymous tip offer. Told people of the place and even putting a reward out for whoever finds the said fossils, will actually believe that a scrawny kid like you? Going off and being a 'boy who cries Mightyena', will you actually believe you or even think Team Rocket will ever show themselves around such a large group?" Butch said and they both watched Ash and his Pokemon take a light step back and then look to one another and back to Buth. "Boy, you have no idea who you're dealing with here."

Cassidy then steps forward and thrust her hand forward, "So you better prepare yourself for Trouble." in which Butch does the same and Ash, Buneary and Pikachu get annoyed expressions on their faces knowing exactly where this is going to be leading into.

"And you better make it double, for you're going to be in a world of pain."

"So here's our mission and you better listen!" They both said and had Ash, Buneary and Pikachu blinking their eyes at the sudden difference from Jessie, James and Meowth motto but still…was the motto being said.

"To infect the world with devastation"

"To blight all people from every nation"

Then the two of them did a pose by Cassidy kneeling down completely and raising a knee upward. While Butch leans forward and has a hand up against his chin as Cassidy continues the motto. "To denounce the goodness of truth and love."

To extend our wrath to the stars above."

"Cassidy!"

"And Butch!"

"Team Rocket circles the world, Day and Night!"

"You will surrender to us now, or you will lose this fight!"

"Yeah that's right!" Cassidy finished the motto as a giant R appeared behind them in an explosion and then disappeared once it was said and done. Leaving Ash, Pikachu and Buneary lightly starred in owlish-like behavior and then tilted their heads as Ash lifted a finger and said.

"Um, isn't that Jessie, James and Meowth's motto? What makes it any different from theirs?" Ash asked and saw Butch and Cassidy's eyes widened out and then both yelled out in shock while comedically collapsing to the ground in a heap. "Aren't you guys copyright infringement there?" Then he covered hsi ears and felt Pikachu and Buneary cowering right behind his legs as Butch and Cassidy turn briefly into giants and having flames roaring behind them as they shouted and scolded Ash.

"YOU DIMWIT THAT IS THE ORIGINAL MOTTO OF TEAM ROCKET, THOSE LOSERS KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE SUPERIOR MOTTO!" Cassidy shouted as Butch added on.

"THEY'RE THE ONES WHO ARE INFRINGING ON THE TEAM ROCKET MOTTO NOT US!" Then the two growled irritably and got really pissed off. "IT really pisses me off how much their stupid motto seems to be used and heard of everywhere, and not the actual best Motto!" He growls and grabs a Pokeball from his belt.

"Tell me about it, it angers me greatly to know Jessie, the one who is spreading the dumb motto." Cassidy says and grabs a Pokeball from her belt too and says. "You're in for it now brat, let's go Mismagius!" She called out sending the evolution Ghost Pokemon of Misdreveous onto the battlefield. As the Pokemon burst out from the pokeball, wearing what looked to be a purple style witch hat, with long robes and the ruby beads necklace surrounding her neck as she cackled and giggled about and spinning around in the air.

"You too, take the stage Raticate!" Butch shouted and threw his pokeball forward and released the Pokemon out of the ball. However, it didn't look like your regular Raticate as it was the same shape and size. But it's cheeks were much rounder and puffier, its fangs sharper and looking unhinged, with its fur being black and gray in tone and color and it's tail looking way thicker than usual.

Ash went and grabbed his Pokedex wondering why the Raticate is different from the normal ones he usually sees on his travels and such in the Kanto region. He pointed the Pokedex towards it and saw that it brought up two images of the Kanto Raticate and the one in front of him belonging to Alola.

"Raticate the Alolan variations- in which people had brought over the Kanto habitats of Ratatta over into the Alola region in order to help with its infestation. However, because of bad foresight the Ratatta and Raticate overpopulated and adapted into their new environments and became the way they look. People say that they fled from their natural habitats by using their webbed feet to swim from island to island in Alola."

"Mismagius the evolved form of Misdreaveous- It's cries sounds like incantations to torment it's foe, it appears the least you expect, it sometimes cries sounds like happiness of power." The Pokedex said as Ash went ahead and placed the Pokedex back and got poise for a battle as he watched Pikachu and Buneary stepping in front of him.

"Alright then if it's a battle you want, then it's a battle you will get! Buneary, Pikachu ready!" Ash said and watched the two Pokemon nodding their heads as the intensity of the air got really thick as all four opponents watched one another and waited for their commands to get thrown about, unaware that the thunderbolt that hit and struck the drilling machine, continued sparking and staticing within the console. Slowly reactivating and turning the machine on unbeknownst to the group.

"Raticate go and use Shadow ball!" Butch commanded.

"Mismagius go and use Hex!" Cassidy commanded as the two Pokemon darted forward with Mismagius flying into the air and began letting out a shrill like cry as random objects appeared around her and began throwing them towards Pikachu and Buneary! While Raticat,e who is stomping and running forward raised its hands up to the front of its face and gathered a large shadow ball and fired it towards Pikachu!

"Pikachu, use Iron tail on the objects and follow up with Thunderbolt! Buneary use quick attack to go through the shadow ball and follow up with Return!" Ash commanded as he watched his Pokemon nodding as Buneary had white energy trailing behind her as she darted forward and straight towards the Shadow ball and going through it as Ghost type moves don't work on Normal type Pokemon as she leaps into the air and then spun around as her entire bodyv glowed white and then fired off a beam from her mouth as she uses the move return! A move that strengthens in power depending how much friendship and bond the Pokemon and Traine rhas with one another.

"Raticate dodge it and then use Crunch!" Butch quickly shouted and saw Raticate immediately dodging out of the attack as it exploded and caused a smoke screen to cover the area. Making it hard for Buneary to see, only for her to freak out as dark menacing teeth broke through the clouds and the Raticate heading right for her!

Pikachu, who was ready to jump off from the hex attack objects, turned his head and saw Buneary was about to get hit. So he quickly changed directions and ran towards Buneary and Raticate- dodging the hex move at the last minute, while Pikachu then quickly leaps into the air and spun his body around and swinging his tail forward and using the Iron tail to clash against the Crunch attack and blocking it for Buneary. As Buneary had hearts appearing in her eyes and thanking Pikachu for the save.

"Buneary, Mega punch quick!" Ash commanded quickly as Buneary landed onto Pikachu's back, as the two clapped paws together and Pikachu ripped his iron tail away from Raticate's teeth and went back to the ground. As Buneary followed up by arching her head back and scrunching up her bunny ears, to then throwing her head forward and delivering powerful energy like punches with her bunched up ears and smack them right into Raticates face! Sending the rodent down hard into the ground, but immediately retaliated.

"Raticate quick attack!"

"Mismagius follows up with Magical leaf!" Butch and Cassidy commanded together as Raticate gathered energy around it's body and blasted forward as it trial behind it. Rushing straight towards Buneary, who landed and let out a cry of pain when Raticate's attack landed and sent her tumbling backwards, the female Pokemon quickly punched the ground and righted herself up and retaliated with an Ice beam towards the Magical leaf and had the two moves exploding.

"Pikachu Thunderbolt!" Ash commanded a sPikahcu quickly fired the Thunderbolt towards Mismagius who quickly disappeared and evaded the attack. But screeched out when Pikachu fired off another Thunderbolt attack at it, as steam flew off form the ghost type's body, but quickly righted herself and growled irritably down at Pikachu and fired off her own Thunderbolt towards the electric mouse! Who fired off another Thunderbolt and the two moves clashing while Buneary who is fighting with Raticate were both in a fist of cuffs with their Mega punch and Sucker punch colliding against one another and causing loud echoes of boom whenever they connected fists together.

Pikachu moved away from the Thunderbolt attack and then yelped out as Mismagius Thunderbolt exploded on the ground and had him flying into the air for a brief moment, to then Pikachu yelping out as the ghost Pokemon quickly appearing near Pikachu and fired off her Hex attack on the mouse Pokemon, sending him flying across the field and close towards the digging machine!

"Pikachu!" Ash shouted and then quickly turned towards Buneary who quickly bounced away from the sucker punch attack. "Quick attack Buneary, then fire Ice beam!" Ash said and saw her quickly dashing and shoulder tackling Raticate who grunted out in pain, then yelled out in more pain as she fired off an Ice beam attack at it. Sending the rat straight towards Butch, who let out a grunt of pain as the Pokemon landed and crashed into him and sent the two of them into the ground!

"Pikachu, Jump onto the digging machine at the last minute and fire off another Thunderbolt!" Ash continued giving commands, as Pikachu who got up and then backflips onto the seat of the digging machine as Mismagius Magical leaf attack missed its target and erupted onto the ground in front of the machine. Even if the move has perfect accuracy, it doesn't mean that moves like Swift and Aura sphere or Faint attack can actually miss their attacks if the Pokemon dodges at the last second or counter's with their own attack.

Pikachu then leaps away when Mismagius tried again with another Magical leaf attack and aimed it towards Pikachu who was on the console and had the grass type move exploding and destroying the console further. Causing everyone there to widen their eyes and panic lightly when they heard static of electricity coursing through the digging machine, followed by the drill whirring up rapidly and began moving downwards and into the ground! Causing tremors and earthquakes around everyone as they staggered and flailed about with their arms and legs, trying hard to keep their footing.

The drill speed increases as debris flies everywhere from burrowing into the ground! Rocks and pebbles going in all directions as Pikachu and Buneary, tried their best to run towards where Ash is and climb onto his shoulders, while Cassidy and Butch tries to attempt to run over to the machine and figuring out how to stop it before it goes and damages the fossils. "Will you turn the stupid machine off!" Cassidy shouted at Butch's ears as they jumped onto the tread wheels and then into the pilot seat and Butch doing everything he could to turn the machine off, by moving and pressing buttons on the vehicle.

"I'm trying but the controls are busted and nothing is responding!" Butch shouted and thn shielded himself when the console blew up some more and began letting out smoke that was choking the two rocket members as the machine began glowing and looking to be discharging a lot of energy. The earth began splitting apart and causing a fissure to happen as the cracks began stretching and rapidly moving towards where Ash, Pikachu and Buneary are. In which the trio tried their hardest to move and get out of the way, but Ash's foot gets caught between the opened earth! Causing Pikachu and Buneary to go flying off from him and hitting the ground on their fronts, before quickly rolling onto their backs and rushes over to Ash and tries helping the trainer out from his predicament.

"STOP THE MACHINE!" Cassidy yelled out as she and Butch scrambled to getting out of the machine as it was now glowing bright white.

"TOO LATE, LET'S* Before he could finish the sentence the drilling machine erupted in a bright light and then erupted into a large explosion! Causing massive earthquakes throughout the mountain range, alerting everyone in their designated digging areas. To turn in the direction and wonder what was happening, in which Gary and his cheerleaders also looked and then widened their eyes as Gary shouted.

"ASH!" He then began running while throwing the pickaxe he was carrying down to the ground. "Come on girls, we need to see if he and his Pokemon are alright!" He shouted and leaps around a boulder as the cheerleaders all nodded in agreement and immediately followed the young man towards the direction.

All the while they heard what sounded like people shouting and screaming in the air. "Arceus be damn we were so close to those fossils, I could've practically felt them in my hands. If that idiotic bastard of a trainer didn't interfere!" Cassidy said as she was covered in soot and burnt marks, with half of her uniform slightly torn and shredded from the explosion of the digging machine.

"Here I thought those idiots were kidding about him being problematic to Team Rocket affairs. Bad enough we had to deal with two older teenagers in the past, but now a twerp?" Butch added as the two of them began spinning and flipping about as they were slowly disappearing in the air as they shouted.

"TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" And then disappeared within a flash of light in the sky. We return back to Ash as he, Pikachu and Buneary were doing everything they could to pull his foot out of the cracked earth that had caught his foot. Then they turn their heads in the direction of voices calling out to them.

"Ash, Pikachu, Buneary! Are you alright!" The voice belonged to Gary with his cheerleaders coming over the hilltop and ready to head down. In which Ash and his Pokemon were about to call out to them, but whipped their attention towards the right and saw more of the earth opening up and splitting the mountain apart while heading straight towards them! That it had all three yelling out in fright with Ash quickly shouting.

"GARY don't get any closer or you will get caught!" Shouted the raven-haired boy as Gary and the girls came to a sliding stop and then widening their eyes and shouted Ash's name and his Pokemon, as the earth opened up around the three with stalagmites going upwards and forcing rock structures around them and breaking the earth even more, to then collapsing inwards and sending all three of them down the large gaping hole that opened up around them as Gary and the cheerleaders screamed out in fright and watched Ash, Pikachu and Buneary disappearing within the hole. Followed by piles of rocks and landslide rolling and covering the large gaping hole and continued shaking and trembling the earth all around them before finally going silent as dust and smoke covered the entire area as Gary began waving his hands to fan out the smoke.

"ASH! Ash!" Gary shouted and gritted his teeth. "Oh no you don't, you're not going to disappear on me and leave me hanging at the Pokemon league Ashy boy." He then turns towards his Cheerleaders. "Girls go and get some help and Officer Jenny, I will use my Pokemon to try and dig Ash out of there!"

"On it!" The cheerleaders shouted and immediately turned around and ran towards where the other diggers were at and the officials. Not caring at all about their outfits getting dirty when doing so. When Gary saw them leaving he turned around and grabbed his Pokeballs.

"Everyone come on out!" He shouted releasing his Blastoise, Scissor and other Pokemon onto the fields as they all did their cries and poses, to then blinking their eyes and then got serious when Gary said. "We gotta save Ash and his Pokemon who got buried over there, help me dig them out!" He commanded and began running over to the piles of rocks and boulders that had covered the large hole Ash and his Pokemon had fallen into, with his Pokemon following right behind him and started helping him carry and bring the rocks away from the blast zone. "You better be alive Ash, I don't think I will let myself feel guilty of seeing you disappearing like that and not come back to have our rivalry battle!"

Pidgeotto who was flying in the sky and getting scared from all the trembling and earthquake that was happening, stared down at the sight and felt really anxious and nervous for that raven-haired trainer and his Pokemon being swallowed up like that. The avian bird even looked around and spotted the girl's that were with the spiky hair one, already reaching to the officials and other diggers- informing them and telling them of what happened and started heading over towards the spiky hair boy in great haste. "Pidgeoo…" it cooed while flapping its wings and staying in place, praying for that boy's safety alongside his Pokemon.

Meanwhile underground of where Ash, Buneary and Pikachu had fallen into. The trio were groaning and whimpering lightly in pain from the fall they've taken, as Ash rolled onto his back and hissed lightly and winced in pain. "Ow, ow, ow…yeah that's going to leave a mark." He hissed out and began slowly climbing upright in his seated position and wrapped one arm around his stomach and waistline. "Luckily nothing feels broken…Pikachu, Buneary you two okay?" He asked and turned his head over his shoulders and spotted the two Pokemon. Who look dizzy and had swirls in their eyes as they groaned together, letting Ash know that they are alright and climbed onto their feet and shook their bodies about and then ran over towards Ash.

"Pikapii, pikachu?" Pikachu was the first to speak and asked if Ash was alright, seeing him holding onto his stomach and waist has him and Buneary worried. But relaxed when Ash's eyes smiled and petted their heads with his one hand.

"I am fine you two don't worry…now…where are we?" He hummed out and began looking around, slowly and carefully lifting himself onto his feet and winced an eye closed from his muscles and body aching but relaxed as it went away and began scanning the underground cavern they had entered. "This…was underneath the digging site?" He mused out and felt Pikachu and Buneary climbing onto his shoulders as they scanned the area with the boy. Noticing how eerily dark and creepy it is down here and showing no signs of life at all. Didn't help that they couldn't see anything at all minus the few sunlight going through the boulders above them that blocked their only escape.

The trio hummed lightly and then Ash quickly whipped around as his shoes scraped across the ground and pebbles shouting. "Who's there!" He demanded as he thought he heard some movements and footsteps, even sounds of the dirt being stepped on and grinded lightly as this cause Buneary to get scared and hide behind Ash's head some more while Pikachu hops down and got in front of the boy and began sparking his electricity from his cheeks. "Pikachu, use thunderbolt in that direction! Let's shed some light."

Pikachu followed the command and began discharging electricity from his cheek sacks and fired off a thunderbolt forward! Illuminating the darkness and brightening up the dark caves for a brief second, watching the bolt of lightning flying through the air and disappearing showing the dark hues of blue and brown of the cave they were in. With some dampness and water here, to even showing some moss growing as well with a large lake in the distance surprising the tiro greatly of there being water source down here at all. Though they turned once more when they heard movement again this time coming to their right, "Quick Thunderbolt!" Ash shouted quickly as he spun around and threw his arm forward in the direction it came from.

Pikachu immediately turns around and fires off another Thunderbolt attack and had it zipped through the air quickly and swiftly illuminating the place once more and then erupted against a boulder that caused the sparks to disperse and light up more of the darkness away. As the tiro then gasped and took a step back at the sight they were seeing, as tall menacing looking Pokemon that were standing on their two feet, were staring back at them with red intimidating eyes that glowed in the darkness and then revealing themselves as they took couple steps forward and began scraping their large scythe like limbs together and causing loud sparks. All the while growling and hissing towards the trio, with smaller looking Pokemon standing beside them and they too were growling out.

"Are…they?" Ash gulped out and quickly grabbed his Pokedex and aimed it towards the Pokemon that were in front of them as Pikachu stood ready and willing to fight and protect Buneary and Ash as the Pokedex beeped out.

"Kabuto, Kabutops, Omanyte, Omastar- are prehistoric Pokemon of Kanto past. Rumors have it that these species of Pokemon existed thousands of years ago and flourished within the prehistoric era. No real information about these Pokemon are known as of yet, but many scholars and researchers believe them to be carnivorous Pokemon and will chase down their foes until they are tired out and finish them off at their weakest state."

"That's it!? Did you not get updated recently when I last called Professor Oak or his aids!?" Ash silently yelled at the Pokedex as it beeped out and then began showing the Pokemon dex entries, making Ash to deadpan at the handheld device and look sideways. "Wiseass…"

"Kabuto the shellfish Pokemon: This species is said to be entirely extinct, when Kabuto sheds their shells every three days, making the shell harder and harder. While some say that they are entirely extinct, Kabtuo sightings are actually more common in other places in the world."

"Kabutops the shellfish Pokemon: Kabutops slices its prey apart and sucks out the fluids. The other body parts become food for other Pokemon. It is thought to be said that this Pokemon came onto land, believing its prey has adapted life on land"

"Omanyte the spiral Pokemon: This Pokemon is a member of the ancient, extinct species. Omanyte paddles with its 10 tentacles in the water, looking like it's just gliding.

"Omastar the spiral Pokemon: Weighted down by its heavy and large shell, Omastar is unable to move very fast. Some say because of this and why they went extinct is because they couldn't get food." The Pokedex said as Ash put the device away and looked towards the Fossil Pokemon that were starting to approach them. Making it hard to tell if they are about to attack them or kill them because of either A: Waking them up from their very long slumber or B: They are getting hungry and that Ash and his Pokemon are the recent species they have seen yet that is probably good enough to eat.

"Ancient Pokemon or not, they're still Pokemon!" Ash exclaimed while turning his hat around and saw Pikachu sparking its electricity, with Buneary cooing out and giggling out as she sensed Ash's enthusiasm. "We won't run away from a battle- but knowing how dangerous they are., We still have to be careful, but they also don't belong to anyone!" Then pump his arm and grinned. "So Pikachu, Buneary we're going to at least try and catch one of each to make the situation less taxing on us and lessen the dangers!" Ash then threw his arm forward. "Pikachu, kick things off by using Agility!" Ash commanded and watched Pikachu running forward and then jumping into the air as energy gathered around him and started boosting forward with incredible speed as his speed raised by two stages and heading towards one of the fossil Pokemon.

A Kabutops bent down and used an Agua jet attack, with water surrounding its body and encasing it with a veil of water. Followed by darting rapidly forward with incredible speed as it charges towards Pikachu with high velocity! "Pikachu slides underneath it and then follows up with a Thunderbolt attack!" Ash shouted out as Pikachu did a shot hop and then slid right underneath Kabutops as it flew over Pikachu's head and towards one of the stalagmites connecting to the ceiling of the cave.

Pikachu quickly turns around on all fours and then fired off a powerful Thunderbolt attack towards Kabutops, whom hd crashed into the stalagmite and swiftly pulls away from it and tries deflecting Piakchu's thunderbolt with its claws, however column't do so in time and let out a screeching pain as it got electrocuted and shocked by Pikachu's Thunderbolt attack! All the while being super-effective as the Pokemon is part water type. Not wanting to give it a second chance to breathe or retaliate, Ash quickly grabs a dusk ball from his pocket. Enlarging it and then quickly throws it towards the Kabutops as the ball hits its hammerhead shaped head and sucks it inside the ball and then lands onto the ground. Beginning it's shakes, but Ash knew they couldn't really focus on the ball as the other fossil Pokemon began their assault on Pikachu, as he turns around and saw the group heading right for him.

"Since their Water and Rock-" Ash then grabs Lilligants Pokeball and throws it forward. "Lilligant, come on out and help Pikachu!" Ash calls out Lilligant to the battlefield as the ball raises into the air and bursts open and sends the grass type onto the fields. She let out a little cry and then heard Ash quickly shouting, "Use Energy ball!" He commanded as Lilligant hardened her eyes and quickly clapped her hands together and spread them apart as a large energy orb began materializing between her hands. Picking up massive winds all around her as her skirt and poncho were flapping wildly and flipping about from the Energy ball attack.

Lilligant then blasted it forward as she slid backwards with a squeak and lifted her right leg into the air for a brief moment and quickly slammed it down. Watching the attack zipping across and over the ground with energy particles following right behind it as the Energy ball made contact with an Omastar that was about to hit Pikachu, followed by a Kabuto as the two fossil Pokemon got caught in the blast and went flying in each opposite direction form Pikachu. Which Pikachu followed up with a quick Thunderbolt attack towards the other fossil Pokemon that were behind the two of them, and when he did and stopped his attack. Pikachu began running back towards Ash and Lilligant.

Taking this advantage, Ash threw two more Dark Balls towards Kabuto and Omastar that Lilligant managed to hit. But clicked his tongue seeing that once Omastar went into the Pokeball, it quickly broke out- they even turned towards the Kabutops that he threw a ball from earlier- breaking free as well and looked really pissed off. "Well no one said they were going to be easy to catch." Ash said and then the group turned towards the Kabuto that was with the Omastar- had its Dark ball chiming out and stopped shaking indicating that Ash successfully caught one and watched it get transferred to the PC box.

"Hey we got one!" Ash cheered out, having Lilligant squeal in delight, with Pikachu and Buneary smiling and wiggling about at how they were able to catch the pre-evolutions. "Alright then- if we can't catch the evolved forms. Let's go for the pre-evolutions!" The raven-haired teen said while turning around and facing at the remaining Pokemon that were now gathering energy in front of their mouths, with the Kabutops charging towards them with green looking energy gathering in their scythes.

"Lilligant, use Leaf storm, Pikachu use Electro ball!" Ash commanded as Buneary was rooting and cheering on top of Ash's shoulders towards her friends. As Pikachu ran forward and started gathering electricity to the tip of his tail, while then leaping into the air and flipping forward and sending a powerful and large Electro ball towards the Kabutops and Omastar! Forcing them to cancel out their moves immediately. But the Omanyte and Kabuto fired off their water gun attacks towards Pikachu! Lilligant however rushes forward and begins spinning in counterclockwise position and starts lifting and summoning leaves all around her and then completely disappears within the giant and large leaf tornado as it behaves like a veil. In turn the tornado quickly rushes forward as Lilligant began teetering and tottering from the dizziness from the move, but quickly shook out of it and blink her orange eyes as the large tornado manages to move right in front of Pikachu in time and started pushing heavily against the water gun attacks!

Lifting and damaging both Omanyte and Kabuto greatly as they screech out and cry in pain when the Tornado lifted them upwards and then flung them separately! Ash takes this chance to run forward and throw a Dark ball towards the Omanyte in the air and watches the ball suck the water/rock type Pokemon inside it and land onto the ground. "Buneary quick Ice beam attack!" Ash commanded while thrusting his arm forward and watching the rabbit run along his arms and then springs her into the air, watching her doing a backflip and gathering energy around her mouth and firing it towards the Omastar and Kabutops that counter attack with their own Icy wind and Blizzard attack causing the two moves to clash and erupting everywhere! Causing cold chilly winds to blow throughout the underground caverns, and freezing some of the surroundings!

Unaware that the loud noises and clashing of attacks is disturbing an even more threatening Pokemon within the caves. As it stir lightly and grumble about, even shaking and tilting its head in all directions- to even laying upside down and stretching out their limbs to relax. But then quickly hugging themselves and wrapping their wings close to their bodies, they let out a yelp when another boom echoed and shook the caves all around it. In which caused a stalagmite to unhinged from above and crash against the Pokemon on the forehead. Causing it to rapidly sit upright and rapidly rubbing the injured spot, as its eyes then glowed red and began growling out in frustration. It then hummed and blink it's eyes in order to adjust and get the blurry vision away, taking note that there was indeed a battle going on in the distance and the source of the loud noises.

It took awhile for their focus to take full effect but definitely saw a battle going on and even voices as well. The Pokemon grumbled and rubbed its eyes and figured to ignore it for now and try to get back to sleep. Awning, the Pokemon rolled onto its right and tried getting comfortable again- only for it to be short-lived as a stray Thunderbolt attack flew across the skies and headed straight for the Pokemon! Causing it to screech out and spazzing out from the electricity- then once it wore off had the Pokemon eyes swirling about from the dizziness, but quickly shook its head and was ready to howl out or scold the Pokemon fighting. Only to at the last minute see razor sharp leafs coming right for it and screamed out in even more pain as when the Leaf landed a direct hit? It engulfed the Pokemon in a leaf tornado and began cutting and slicing its body up for a brief moment.

This had the Pokemon really pissed off as it began shaking and stuttering its entire body and its eyes going red and bloodshot. That it couldn't take it anymore and outright pissed off, all it wanted to do was to sleep and get comfortable! BUT no, whoever the wiseass thought it was good to start battling and disturbing its sleep thought it would be funny for them to also attack them and harm them!? DAMN them the Pokemon thought and figured to take matters into its own hand and spread its wings out and began flexing them to even curling and uncurling its fingers so that the stiffness will go away. While then rolling its neck around to get rid of kinks or knots in its muscles, it then stood up onto it's two legs and began flapping its wings slowly and softly as it's gray-smooth skin body glimmered and shone from the reflecting lights of the rocks and boulders nearby. Moving and rippling a lake's surface near it as it reflected the Pokemon image through the surface, to then rearing its head back and let out a very powerful cry of!

"AERODACTYL!" And swung its wings hard and fast to have it lift off from the ground and began flapping its wings even harder as it then darted forward with a loud sonic boom! Echoing throughout the entirety of the caverns, causing the battling Pokemon and Ash to suddenly shield themselves from the sudden gust of winds that blew throughout the cave. And before Ash could even see or take note of what was coming their way- all he could do was let out a loud scream of panic before things went dark!

Outside of the caves and where there were now multiple people digging and chipping away the boulders that were blocking a cave entrance with Gary and his Pokemon. All came to a stp and paused as they all thought they heard something? In which Gary quickly knelt down and leans an ear against one of the boulders before pulling away and shouting. "Everyone stay clear, something is coming!" He shouted and had everyone running clear from the cave in and jumping to solid ground as they barely made it out in time when something burst through the boulders and rocks, sending them flying everywhere and crashing down hard and fast onto the nearby camps, tents and digging equipment!

"AAAAAH! Someone help!" A voice cried out having Gary who was running to solid ground, quickly spun around and widening his eyes in panic alongside his cheerleaders and Pokemon.

"ASH!" They all shouted at once and then all of them ran forward when they saw Buneay, Pikachu and Lilligant who were hanging onto the Pokemon egs got kicked off and fell towards the ground, as Gary quickly went and caught Pikachu with ease, his Blastoise quickly running forward and firing a moderate power water gun attack to slow Lilligant's descent and catching her within his arms, while the Cheerleaders gathered in a circle and used their pom-poms to catch Buneary who was shaking and trembling, but quickly shook her head and let out a cry towards Ash! Gary then places Pikachu onto his right shoulder and looks up to where his rival is being carried by…"Is…that Aerodactyl!?" Gary then quickly grabs his Pokedex and faces it to the fossil Pokemon.

"This is a Ferocious Pokemon from Ancient times. Apparently modern technology is incapable of producing a perfectly restored specimen. Aerodactyl's saw-like fangs can shred skin into tatters- even those of Steel type Pokemon." The Pokedex said as Aerodactyl can be seen flying towards a nearby mountain top with Ash in it's claws, as Gary hisses lightly and look towards Blastoise. "Blastoise, use Hydro-"

"Don't!" Shouted Officer Jenny who ran over and stopped Gary. "If you attack Aerodactyl, you will put that boy in more danger! Especially if it tries to fly away to evade the attack, it will inadvertently throw him off the mountain!" The officer explained and saw Gary bting his lip and rapidly turned around to face the Ancient Pokemon, with Pikachu trembling and shaking on his shoulders. "Does anyone have a flying type Pokemon! We need to hurry and rescue that-" Though she couldn't finish her sentence and felt sharp winds blowing through her and even Gary had to stand his ground when he too felt the strong winds and had him, Pikachu- hell everyone whipping their heads upwards as they heard a Pokemon cry.

"PIDGEOO!" Cried the Pokemon as it was flying with Mach speed like levels and becoming quite the blur through the skies as it soars swiftly through the air and heading right towards the Aerodactyl, who had pinned Ash down onto the stone mountain it perched on. Watching the boy struggle and trying to break free from the Pokemon! He even tried biting down against Aerodactyls foot, but winces and felt a tear drop hanging from his eyes.

"Ow, ow, ow! Okay rock or not do not try biting its skin!" Ash muttered out and then blinked his eyes and heard a weird purr coming from Aerodactyl making Ash slowly shift his eyes upwards and then turning his head completely to the Pokemon direction. Seeing its giant maw opening up and ready to take his head off and eat him! Causing Ash to let out a frightful scream but then felt himself being loose from Aerodactyls hold and felt his body being pushed away from the Pokemon, followed by gasping out and widening his eyes at the sight of a Pidgeotto!

Using Steel wing right onto Aerodactyl's stomach and quickly flew away from the fossil Pokemon, who choked out and coughed heavily from the blow to the gut and grumble and groaned. The fossil Pokemon then growled out and howled as Pidgeotto went ahead and used a low powered Twister attack to lift Ash from the mountain top and down towards the ground, making the boy letting out gasps and whoas when that happened and then grunted out in pain when he landed halfway down the mountain and began sliding down it like a ramp! With his Pokemon, Gary and the people all rushed over and began asking Ash if he is alright? Along with Pikachu, Lilligant and Buneary threw themselves at Ash and began hugging him and crying out in pure worry and fear for the boy. As Lilligant was making sure to look over anything that was out of place or Ash getting hurt from the Aerodactyl.

"Ash you alright?!" Gary asked and helped the boy up and separated his Pokemon to let the boy breath and dusted the dirt off from Ash. Though I saw some bruises here and there.

"Yeah, I am now thanks Gary. I didn't know you caught a Pidgeotto." Ash said anf gave a few shaky laughs and looked at the grandson of Oak. Who stared confusingly towards him and then lowered one eyelid halfway.

"I don't have a Pidgeotto…" Though paused. "Well I do have one in the PC storage box, but I didn't bring any with me. I thought it was yours with the way it reacted to rescuing you."

"Huh, I haven't caught a Pidgeotto at all." Stated Ash in return and then the two along their Pokemon faces towards the people within the dig site. Who all shrugged and murmured out how they don't have any Pokemon on their person. Even Officer Jenny shook her head, letting the two boy's know that she doesn't own one either. "Then…is it a wild Pidgeotto?" Ash murmured and all of them quickly looked up towards the skies and saw the Fossil Pokemon and Pidheotto getting into a dog fight!

"Well owned or not that Pidgeotto sure has guts taking on a Rock type Pokemon!" Gary exclaimed and had Ash staring in amazement and awe at the sight before him and nodded lightly completely moved and impressed with the female Pokemon who had rescued him. This even had Lilligant, Pikachu and Buneary also staring in awe as the Pidgeotto began the attack!

"Pidgeo-geo-geo-geo!" The avian bird Pokemon cried out having her impressively rounded and shapely formed F cups clapping about and rubbing against one another with her pristine feathers covering her private parts of her body, as her hourglass shape frame dances and moves with her movements as her wings began conjuring up another Twister attack and sending it towards Aerodactyl. Who took this chance to come around the twister and then spiral upwards into the air and spreading it's wings outwards! Summoning Rock's all around it and firing it towards Pidgeotto, using Rock slide!

The flying type steeled her gaze and began soaring forward and stretching out her wings nice and evenly on each side- summoning metallic like energy towards them and making them hard as steel. Surprising the spectators as Gary shouts, "That's Steel wing! Where did that Pokemon learn that move, you can only teach Pidgeotto that skill with a technical machine!" Exclaimed Gary Oak, having Ash look at him and then back towards Pidgeotto who was seemingly going to head first into the rocks. But then quickly folded his hands in front of his mouth and shouted.

"Pidgeotto! Use Steel wings to slap the Rock slide away and use their momentum to boost your speed!" Ash called out, surprising Gary who whipped his attention at the boy and then back towards the Pokemon. Who couldn't help but take note of the flying type nod in response to Ash's command and began spinning her body like a fan! With the first Rock slide attack nearly striking the Pokemon- only for it to be deflected and sent downwards with relative ease as the Steel wing made easy work with the rocks and even boosted Pidgeotto's speed even more! Then once more to the second and then the third rock slide were whacked and deflected away from the Pokemon, enhancing her speed from the momentum the rocks were giving her as she soared incredibly fast and striked Aerodactyl by the chin- by throwing her left wing upwards in a uppercut like fashion, to then twirling briefly in the air and slapping down her right wing at the top of Aerodactyls head! Causing the Fossil Pokemon to descend downwards briefly, but quickly retaliated and slapped Pidgeotto across the ass and sent the Pokemon flying in the air!

"That was a Wing attack." Ash and Gary shouted together and then saw Aerodactyl gathering energy around it's mouth. "And that is Hyper beam, Pidgeotto better get out of there!" Gary shouted and let out a confusing hum as Ash once more shouted at the Pokemon.

"Pidgeotto! Fly towards one of the mountain tops, once the Hyper beams hit them. Then use Twister or whatever powerful flying type moves you have to send the debris back!" Commanded the boy and saw Pidgeotto, quickly throwing her limbs about to stop her flailing body and look down towards Ash- adjusting her reddish-pink hair slightly while then facing forward and saw the energy Aerodactyl is storing and preparing to fire at her. The avian Pokemon decided to heed the trainer's commands as his suggestion to the Steel wing worked perfectly in her favor. Goes and quickly raises her legs and knees to her chest and then quickly darts towards a nearby mountain top! And in time too as Aerodactyl fired off the Hyper beam attack towards the Pidgeotto and having the beam follow right behind her!

Once she flew behind one of the mountain tops the Hyper beam made contact and exploded the top of the mountain into tons of debris. Having the Aerodactyl to smirk and smile cockily thinking it landed the attack on the pesky flying type. Only for its eyes to widen and begin yelling and grunting out when the clouds above them darkened and powerful gales of winds began swirling and engulfing the debris around the destroyed mountain! Then followed by Pidgeotto soaring through the dense Hurricane attack she created and had the debris fly and shoot off towards Aerodactyl, making each individual large rocks and boulders to smash into the Pokemon's forehead, then stomach, to then its right and left wing. Causing major damage towards the Pokemon, who growled out and was ready to fire off an Ancient power attack!

Only for its eyes to bulge outwards and widening its mouth open as drool flew out from it as Pidgeotto swiftly and quickly with incredible speed using the Hurricane's winds to enhance her speed. Then gathering metal energy once more and hearing Ash shouting, "Steel Wing!" and BOOM! Pidgeotto got close towards Aerodactyl and pulled both of her metal wings backwards and thrusted them right into Aerodactyls stomach! Pushing them inwards and even shoving it's or should Pidgeotto say, 'her's' breasts heavily into her chest and then watch the female Aerodactyl groan out and whine out in pain before falling backwards and closing it's eyes in defeat and passing out completely from the battle. She was already injured and damaged from the stray thunderbolt and Leaf storm Lilligant and Pikachu used in the caves.

And with its fight against Pidgeotto along the aid of that young trainer, Aerodactyl was defeated and subdued from its anger and fury- while it was falling downwards and reading for the ground. Gary- went and tapped Ash's shoulder, having him look at his rival and saw him smugly smiling, "Well yuo going to catch it or what? I think it's only fair for you to get the Aerodactyl as…well hate to admit." Then crossed his arms. "You were the first to discover the Pokemon, not only that but also commanding a Wild Pokemon as well…you would be a dumbass if you didn't catch them both!"

This had Ash laughing and nodding his head, "Yeah I would be a dumbass- good thing I caught Omanyte and Kabuto before Aerodactyl got me!" Ash said and began running towards the Pokemon, alongside Pikachu, Buneary and Lilligant. As Gary nodded his head lightly and paused and froze in place as his brain caught up to what Ash just said.

"Wait what!? You got Omanyte and Kabuto!?" Gary exclaimed in disbelief and then turned towards the cheerleaders as they were rooting and cheering.

"Ash, Ash he's our guy, if you diss him, he will show you the worst day you will have!" They cheered out and giggled about at the clever rhyme they made for the raven-haired teen. Having Gary to laugh and rest a hand on his hips and shaking his head, while then shrugging his elbows.

"Yeah you girls are right about that!" Gary chuckled and looking back towards his Rival, Ash goes grabbing a Pokeball from his pocket and then throws it straight towards the Aerodactyl! The ball lands against the Pokemon right breast and absorbs it into the ball, to which the Pokeball continued falling and landed onto the rocky terrain and began it's three shake cycle- Once…it wobbles, twice…it rapidly bounces about, three times…it comes to a stop as the red light continues blinking and then a click was heard and the light disappeared. Indicating that Ash has successfully caught Aerodactyl as the boy approaches the ball, he kneels down and picks it up and having quite a huge smile on his face and begins clutching the ball tighter and shutting his eyes before exclaiming loudly and thrusting the ball into the air.

"I DID IT, I CAUGHT AERODACTYL!" Ash shouted and thrusted the ball outwards as Buneary, Pikachu and Lilligant all collectively cheered and smiled about then Lilligant happily throwing herself onto Ash and knocking him down onto the ground. With Pikachu and Buneary joining in and happily and cutely rubbing their cheeks against his own face, as they celebrated their victory over the Fossil Pokemon! Ash then felt the ball disappear in his hand as it transferred to the storage box, the four then went and looked upwards in order to thank Pidgeotto for the help- but didn't see her anyway and hummed lightly wondering where she would've gone?

"As you all just witnessed today and what transpired here today of you all seeing the Fossil Pokemon Aerodactyl. I want you all to know that the situation was handled swiftly and quickly to a fine young gentleman. In regards to the Pokemon committee and in respect of this individual's identity. This incident should not be mentioned to any of the public figures or others- it will cause unwanted trouble for the individual who risked their lives in saving us all. I declare that this sight is far too dangerous to continue digging here, and with recent events and not wanting to disturb any more possible Pokemon in the area. I want you all to disband and head back home or on to your travels! Thank you for understanding and wish you all the best wishes and luck!" Came Officer Jenny's voice through the megaphone.

Letting everyone know and hopefully to keep things a secret of what just happened not so few hours ago with Aerodactyl suddenly appearing, to there being a large cave in and loud explosions erupting around the dig site. Construction workers have arrived and began cementing and sealing up the large hole the Aerodactyl, Ash and his Pokemon came out of- in order to prevent anymore incidents like that from happening again.

Everyone went their separate ways and headed back on their journey, or heading bacl home. We regroup with our hero, where catching Pokemon is not over yet as he, Pikachu and Buneary were now in a forest path that is leading towards Fuchsia shipping docks. The trio were staring among the docks on a hilltop and seeing the ships ready to take passengers and head towards Cinnabar island. "Pidgeooo!" came a Pokemon cry behind them, making the trio to blink their eyes and quickly turn around and all smiled when they saw the beautiful female Pokemon.

"Hey it's Pidgeotto!" Ash said and then laughed lightly while shielding himself from the wind being picked up by the hourglass beauty who is flapping her wings and descending upon them and softly placed her feet onto the ground and then flicked her beautiful pinkish=red hair behind her and smiled cutely with a blush. "Heh I was worried I wouldn't be able to thank you for the save back there." He said to Pidheotto who blushed and bashfully looked away, waving her wings and hands up and down saying 'don't mention it'. Then chirp towards Ash, having him hum and even having Pikachu and Buneary tilting their heads.

"Pidgeotto, pidgeoo!" Chirp the female Pokemon while approaching him and then lifts her wing upwards and pointing a finger towards his belt. Which had Ash humming down at his belt and where the Pokeball that has his Pokemon in them. Then turned back towards Pidgeotto and then smiled brightly.

"Wait…are you saying you want to join us?!"Ash asked and then saw Pidgeotto nodding her head and proudly raising her head upwards as she watched Ash grabbing a Pokeball and just cannot contain his excitement. "Well then Pidgeotto! Welcome to a team, it will be amazing working alongside you!" He exclaimed and threw the ball towards Pidgeotto who happily chirped excitedly with bright eyes and got absorbed into the Pokeball! As it fell to the ground and immediately clicked as Pidgeotto happily allowed Ash to catch her. "This is so cool!" Ash smiles and lifts the ball and then turns to Pikachu and Buneary. "We got a really cool friend, you two and a powerful one too!" Then threw his hand up into the air. "Alright, I also got a Pidgeotto! We're on a roll!"

Today was a thrilling adventure for our hero as he, Pikachu, Buneary welcome the newest addition to their team Pidgeotto, alongside Aerodactyl, Omanyte and Kabuto! As our hero's journey has taken them far and wide, meeting even ancient Pokemon during the dino age. As his sights is now on his seventh gym badge that awaits him on Cinnabar island! What adventures awaits our hero on his quest of becoming a Pokemon master, as his journey continues!
