Chapter 52

Revenant

QOTILE

Graveyard of Giants

Ahkilleon watched the dark waters of Quotile's beach splash against the rusted husks of old republic ships, long abandoned and long stripped of anything useful. He wore Turok's duster over his body, he sat there in silence listening to the waves. A blank expression on his face ever since coming back since finding his perch on some of the looser rocks.

"He still hasn't moved from that spot." Zeb said from outside the Ghost, he along with the rebels were out there all sitting by a new driftwood campfire, three ships were now parked in the opening. Hera's Ghost, Asajj's Banshee and a General Kleeve's personal vehicle, a Militia attack shuttle that looked like a bigger version of an Galeofree gunship with larger engines and a wider body.

Ezra, Kanan and Rex sat around the fire with General Kleeve, Asajj, her two children Corto was up and Yumi sat by her mother, while Quinlan had set up a pot to stir a stew. Corto assisted his father in cooking the stew by chopping some vegetables they had on the Banshee with a knife. Hera stood at the edge of the Ghosts Ramp arms crossed, Kalani was with Bug by the ship while everyone wondered what would come next. Turok, the old trandoshan sat even further away from the others, head hung low holding his pipe not even bothering to light it.

"I still can't believe that worked." Ezra said as he broke another piece of driftwood and tossed it onto the fire.

"It shouldn't have." Asajj said as she sat, their fingers interlocked, "Dear." Quinlan said.

Asajj raised her head "I know what I said Quinlan, that spell is meant to be a last resort in defense of our coven, it's why we used it during the invasion, but it's suppose to only be used with spirits and dead bodies.

"But on Dathomir, Maul used a similar spell to possess Kanan and Sabine." Ezra asked.

Asajj snapped her head at him "You were on Dathomir, why wasn't I told." She turned to her two kids who went white as their mothers hair, "We'll talk about this later." she muttered.

"Regardless, Ahkilleon is back, and he isn't going back to the Militia." Ezra said walking forward "Not yet anyway." Kleeve said as he sat there scratching his chin thinking.

"Excuse me?" Ezra asked, "He's our only witness to Asimov's betrayal, but the real danger is can Asimov sense that he's alive?" Kleeve asked the resident Jedi.

Asajj was silent, and looked to her husband. The kiffar man shrugged "Hmm, I don't think so, bonds between master and apprentice are only so strong, but trying to kill him. That could have severed the connection, metaphorically speaking."

"What about metaphysical, I'm no jedi but I know they can do things us mere mortals can't?" Kleeve asked as he pointed up to Ahkilleon "Case in point, resurrection."

Yumi cleared her throat, "Excuse me, it was mom, my brother and I who brought him back, can't we get a little credit."
"Yumi this isn't a thing to brag about, life and death are natural parts of the universe." Asajj told her daughter hands up as if she was holding both of them, "Take one away, we… I don't know what this means, but I do know the force is all about balance." Asajj said worried.

Kanan nodded in agreement, "We take something from it, a toll will come due."

"A life for a life then, we make it Asimov's." Kleeve said as he stood up and started to head toward Ahkilleon's perch. As he started towards him, Rex got up "Whoa, whoa, now hold on, how about we give the kid a minute."
Kleeve pushed past him, "Is that what you were doing hiding out on Seelos, taking a minute?" Kleeve asked.

"Now wait just a minute you Separatist crony, you and your Militia have messed up Ahkilleon bad enough as it is. And the last thing I'm going to do is stand by and let you pull him into this mess all over again." Rex grunted at him, Ezra got up and so did Zeb. Corto set his stuff down about to intervene but his dad shook his head at him.

Kleeve looked at the rebels, getting ready to stop him "Captain Rex, like it or not the Militia is the only thing standing between the Empire and absolute dominion of the rim."

Rex let out a sarcastic laugh "What, are you freaking serious, what the hell do you think Hera and Kanan have been trying to do, what Ahsoka, Ahkilleon's mother died for. All your ilk have done is give the Empire to justify their aggression, their ships, their atrocities."

"You think us not being here would have made a difference, I don't have time nor the patience to debate the politics of this war with you Captain." Kleeve pushed past Rex and started to head toward Ahkilleon.

"I said stop." Rex said grabbing Kleeve by the arm, Kleeve turned looking down at his arm in Rex's surprisingly strong grip for an old man, "Syndulla call of your old dog, or I'll muzzle him."
"This old dog still has some fight in him, and that's more than enough for you." Rex growled as he drew back his fist, Kleeve had himself at a side angle with his hand on his blaster pistol "Last warning." Kleeve said as Kalani and Bug started to move towards the Rebels.

Before the fight could go on they heard the sand shuffle and saw Ahkilleon approaching them, he was standing their the coat wrapped around him, "Anyone got my pants?" Ahkilleon asked a blank expression on his face, "Not the old ones, we burned the clothing and have your armor aboard my shuttle." Kleeve said before Rex let him go.

"Junior, how… what… I…" Rex was at a loss for words as Ahkilleon sat down on one of the loose rocks that the group was using around the fire, "I figured I'd stayed up there long enough." Ahkilleon said looking around at the rebels, new jedi, Militia and droids "I know you all have questions… I do too, what happened?" Ahkilleon asked

"You… what do you remember?" Ezra asked him.

Ahkilleon turned to his sworn brother, "It's coming back to me, slowly…" Ahkilleon reached around to stroke his neck, the last thing they saw him doing was suffocating out into space "Do you remember how…. Who?" Kleeve asked him.

Giving a slight nod, Ahkilleon lowered his hand from his neck, balling his hand into a fist "I do, what happened after the battle, Caliban?"
"Terminated, we managed to uncover the memory file of the incident, before it activated a self destruct and memory wipe." Kalani said in a cold calculated tone, "You all saw then?" Ahkilleon asked.

"I mean, we didn't, we just heard and… this is so weird." Corto said as he walked toward him "How are you feeling, Ahkilleon?" Corto asked him.

Ezra got up "Don't ask him that he just- sorry I don't know how to react to this either." Ezra said.

Ahkilleon turned to Kleeve, who stone their stone faced, "The Militia?"
"Asimov is still over Ajara with a few dreadnoughts collecting the dead, still looking for you. The Free Company was decimated and the remaining droids have been assigned to the One Eyed Devil fleets. Last reports from the Union is that the Merchant Alliance are voting to form a new fleet in their place, but the members of Neo Iron League and Sovereign Destiny have formed a block against it. Without the three party system the… that's not Important right now, what's important is that we get you back to Raxus or Arcadia to stand trial against Asimov."

Ahkilleon looked back at the fire, "Why?" Ahkilleon asked.

"Why, he turned the Militia fleets on Caliban, he betrayed us to the Empire on Naboo, and who knows how many other times, Commander?" Kleeve argued walking toward him.

"Don't call me that." Ahkilleon asked as he looked at his metal hand, the joints squeaking and creaking as he moved them, "What, don't you realized what he's done?" Kleeve asked.

Ahkilleon got to his feet in a slow rise, "Of course I do, he murdered me…" Ahkilleon's voice almost cracked "My own Master, I swore an oath to him and he to me and he killed me when I tried to do the right thing, tried to live by the Jedi Code with honor, AND HE KILLED ME!" Ahkilleon yelled right into Kleeve's face.

The devaronian's expression was one of worry but shifted to understanding "I know…" he held his hands up "I have no right to ask this of you, but we need your testimony in person Ahkilleon, if we don't Asimov will take power in the Militia, for what… I don't know."
"I do." Ahkilleon said turning away "He said it before he condemned me to death by space, 'Do something right, do it yourself' he wants a throne."
"The Jedi King, Asimov?" Asajj asked, breaking her silence, "This is what the last schism caused, Sora Bulq wanted the Jedi to rule and it destroyed us." Quinlan said, pouring soup into some small bowls.

Ahkilleon watched him, he said nothing "But why kill Ahkilleon, assuming Asimov has turned to the dark side he'd want an apprentice?" Kanan asked, "No offense."
Ahkilleon remained silent, "I'd rather not find out, Kalani, Bug prep the ship and get ready to send a transmission to General Gererra, we can trust her. We'll need to get Trench alone, there's no telling how far Asimov's conspiracy goes." Kleeve said already getting a plan ready.

"Whoa, hold on, we still haven't figured out if Ahkilleon wants to go with you?" Rex asked, hands up.

They all turned to him, "No." Ahkilleon said, "There you have it." Ezra said smiling "I say we get back to Chopper base, and-" "No." Ahkilleon said.

"Huh?" Ezra asked.

Ahkilleon turned to the rebels "No, I'm not sure I…." Ahkilleon started to say when he moved his gaze over Sabine who had her helmet still on, his eyes softened "Sabine, Ezra can I talk to the two of you, alone?"

Ahkilleon walked away from the fire, and even further still from Turok who watched them from a distance, they walked toward a fallen ship with its wing arched at an awkward angle, one tip sticking out of the sand the other almost broke off the ship's main body. They looked out at the morning sky of Qotile, Ahkilleon's eyes tracing the horizon with beached ships. "Sooooo what did you want to talk about?" Erza asked him.

"I need to know, could you two leave the Rebellion?" Ahkilleon asked them, his back to the two rebels, they looked at one another "We don't understand?" Sabine asked him.

He turned around, "Please Sabine, take your helmet off I need to see your face." Sabine removed it and to Ezra's surprise Sabine's eyes were dry and red from tears, Ahkilleonn walked toward her hand "I'm so… so sorry."

"No, don't-" "I didn't know it would happen." Ahkilleon said, squeezing her hand "Well your back now, it's not the weirdest… no." Ezra said "This is the weirdest thing we've seen." Ezra said pacing scratching his head "And that question?"

Ahkilleon held Sabine's hand, "Would you leave, if I asked you too?" Ahkilleon asked.

"And what join the Militia, no way?" Ezra said, "He's not talking about switching sides, you want to leave too?" Sabine asked him "Don't you Ahkilleon."
"I thought about it, and I'm ready to leave it all behind. The Rebellion, the Militia, the Jedi, the War. All of it, but only if you two come with me." Ahkilleon gazed at them with begging in his eyes, he wanted this, "But… everything we've done, we can't give up now, we still need to fight."
Ahkilleon shook his head "I'm tired of fighting Ezra." His mouth moaned "It's all I've done since we met, fight the Empire, fight the Sith, now I'm going to fight other jedi. I… I can't keep doing this, it's ripping me apart from the inside." Ahkilleon said squeezing Sabine's hand tighter "I don't think Kleeve is asking you to fight anyone, I know he may not be a nice guy but he seems like he wants what we want. To stop Asimov from taking control of the Militia and killing you Ahkilleon, do you really want a killer leading the Militia?" Sabine asked him.
"I'm a killer to Sabine, I've killed men and women fighting for what they believe in. I've killed sith, I've killed Jedi, I killed men I respected and then the moment I stood up I was cut down, I've fought as long as I can, I lost and now I'm alive again, why?" Ahkilleon confided in them he put his hand on Ezra's shoulder and he gripped it tight.

"I don't know Ahkilleon. I know your going through a lot right now. I wish I could say something better than this. But we can't give in, ever." Ezra told him, gripping his wrist and taking Sabine's hand too, "We keep going, we push forward as long as we can, and no matter what if we stick together always, we'll be okay."

Ahkilleon felt tears run down his cheeks before he swallowed his emotions, "Then promise one thing, both of you."

"Anything." Sabine said, the look in Ahkilleon's eyes was one of terror, sadness and agony, but he spoke anyway"That when after all of this is done, no matter what, you'll still be there for me."

"Of course we will." Ezra said, he turned to Sabine, "I lost you once, I won't lose you again." She said as she leaned up to kiss him, the tears from his cheek making it salty like the sea air around them. She wiped his tears and Ahkilleon stood up straighter, and they headed back.

When they came back, Ahkilleon stood between Ezra and Sabine, "I know what you want me to do Kleeve, but I can't come back with you not yet."
"What, but Asimov-" "Will have a plan, he hasn't gotten this far without being careful. But I know how he thinks." Ahkilleon didn't waste his breath "General Kleeve, how long before you can get General Gerrera, Freeman and Admiral Trench in the same room. No holonets, no chances of bugs?"

Kleeve saw the look in his eyes, "It will take a few days, if we move too fast it'll arouse suspicion."

"What about Asimov, could he still sense that Ahkilleon is alive?" Corto asked them, "No." Ahkilleon said "The bond between me and him, it's gone, my mother and I hid for years against the Empire. As long I stay low, and don't summon too much of the force abilities. We'll remain hidden."

"That's… convenient." Corto said, sensing a shift in Ahkilleon from before "We did the same thing, before the Militia found us." Quinlan said.

"They'll need proof you're alive, something to use against Asimov in court?" Kleeve asked him.

"No, I know my Master, this will end like it started to the death. Asimov won't go quietly, even with your and Steela's combined fleet it won't be enough against Asimov. The Vanguard are battle hardened and loyal, we need to break that loyalty from a position of strength." Ahkilleon said as he noticed Turok had summoned the courage to return to the fire.

"Even though I still outrank you, I'll entertain your idea, shoot?" Kleeve asked.

Ahkilleon focused on the Trandoshan for only a second, then spoke to Kleeve "Asimov is Warlord of the Vanguard, Sigma is loyal to him we should assume Zygote and all the officers are. But the regulars are loyal because of the ideals he follows, strength, valor, and honor… I need Challenge him for the right to command."

"That seems like a bad idea?" Zeb asked.

"He's right, all officers have a right to challenge for the right to command, by yield or to the death." Turok said seeing Ahkilleon was already formulating a plan.

Ahkilleon nodded, "He won't able to refuse, especially if we expose his betrayal."

"We'll need time, it'll have to be public, where everyone can see where he can't run or use his men?" Kleeve pointed out pacing.

Ahkilleon scratched his chin feeling the prickly stubble on his chin, "You said Asimov was staying behind, to look for my body?"

"I did, that gives us some time." Kleeve said, Ahkilleon crossed his arms "You said the Merchant Alliance is trying to vote for a replacement fleet, how many days until the vote?" Ahkilleon asked him.

"A week, maybe, we knew there was a chance of fleets being lost. But we wanted more time to build up more forces and recruit other holdouts, this vote could add another fleet or… damn, that bastard." General Kleeve said, clapping his hands together "Of course."

The rebels looked at Kleeve confused, "What is it now?" Rex asked.

"A Union vote like this would demand all Warlords attend, the General too. Asimov will have everyone in one spot. He's been planning this for the stars know how long?" Kleeve said to the others, fumbling his hands together "What does that mean?"
Ahkilleon's eyes widened hearing that, "And he's had the Vanguard stationed on Raxus for months now, they'll have the entire layout of Raxulon set up, and when his the fleet returns the Vanguard will only need hours to secure the whole planet."

"It'll be a coup." Hera summarized.

"The question is when?" Kleeve guessed, he quickly headed towards Kalani and Bug, "Kalani, get the ship ready to fly. We'll head back to Salecuami, Bug you'll leave for Geonosis as soon as we land, Gererra never liked Asimov."

The rest of the rebels watched "What about Admiral Trench, he is part of Sovereign Destiny, given the Admirals tactical survival skill, it is unlikely we can trust him?" Kalani asked General Kleeve.

"Trench always survives." Kanan muttered.

Ahkilleon had a somber look before he turned to the Vos-Ventress clan, "Master Ventress, you sit on the Council, can we count on the New Jedi to support us?"

Asajj had been very quiet before she got up, "And why should we?"

"Mom?" Corto asked, "Yeah what gives?" Yumi asked.

"Asimov is many things, but he's always put the Jedi first. This is why the Council wanted the Jedi out of the conflict, Asimov's War Jedi will follow him, it's already a civil war, and I'm not going to risk my family. Corto, Yumi, we're leaving. We need to get back to Arcadia to get Ky." Asajj said getting up and heading to the Banshee, the rest of the family watched to go fetch their youngest sibling.

"Dad we can't-" "Don't argue with your mother Son." Quinlan told Corto as he packed up their things, Yumi got up and followed their mom, Quinlan left the soup there and started to follow but Corto remained glued to the spot.

Yumi eyed him, "Brother."
"No." Corto said as he backed up, he turned to Ahkilleon "Corto, go with them, they're your family." Ahkilleon said passing by to follow Asajj. He headed toward the edge of the Banshee and Asajj sensed him.

"Master Ventress?" Ahkilleon asked.

She turned slowly, leering at him, "You should have stayed dead."
"And you brought me back, I will never be able to repay that I know." Ahkilleon said he was about to continue but she spoke first.

Asajj stepped toward him "You can, by never speaking to my son and daughter again, by never coming near my family again. Ever."
Ahkilleon opened his mouth to speak, but he shut his mouth "As you wish." He said with a soft nod and turned to go, he passed by Corto, Quinlan, and Yumi without a word. He stopped by Kleeve turning to him, "We have one week, make contact with Steela, leave Trench to me and Turok."

"What will you do in the meantime, Commander?" General Kleeve asked.

Ahkilleon headed toward the Ghost "Prepare."

RAXUS

RAXULON

Lord Asimov stood out over the city of Raxus, outside the Militia Union Hall, once the Separatist Parliament building, he wore a black cloak around his shoulders and Commander Sigma walked up to him, "Sir, all the men have been returned to Raxus." Sigma too wore a black arm band around his forearm

"Any word from Turok Skell?" Lord Asimov asked.

"No sign of him, he's gone dark." Sigma said.

Asimov grunted, "Let him hide, he'll try something I know." Asimov said.

"And we're sure no one suspects anything my Lord?" Sigma asked him, Lord Asimov shook his head and turned to look over at some Vanguard Gunships flying over the city "No, the next union meeting is where we'll know who is with us and against us."
Sigma nodded "General Kleeve and his droid were seen returning to Salecuami after disappearing somewhere, should I investigate?"
"... No, Kleeve's time will come. For now prepare the men, let the loyalest of the officers know what is to come. This must work, or the Militia, the Jedi, everything we've sacrificed will be for nothing Sigma." Asimov said patting him on the arm.

"As you command, your Highness."

ATOLLON

Far Outside Chopper Base

Ahkilleon sat legs crossed in the desert of Atollon, the sun was high overhead but he had shade, he wore only the pair of old black trousers the Rebels had given him on their mission to Crows Nest. His white and blue hair was limp around his head, sweat glistening off his back and above him a massive boulder two times the size of the Ghost was hovering over him. Turok sat in the shadow of a young coral tree. It only had four levels and they'd set up a small camp there with crates and supplies, two pairs of bedrolls. Turok had a dead Kryk'na beside them whose legs had been chopped off and stabbed onto a spit rolling over a fire.

The sound of a speeder bike nearly broke Ahkilleon from his concentration, Ezra and Kanan rolled up with more supplies. "We got your message, did he really eat all the protein rations?" Ezra asked.

Kanan looked over at Ahkilleon who moved the boulder over and let it drop with a thundering crash beside him inches from where he sat. "Kids got an appetite, what can I say?" Turok said as he rolled the kryk'na leg over the spit of flames.

"That's what worries me." Kanan said.

"I'd be more worried about Sato, I think he almost blew a blood vessel when he saw Ahkilleon walk down the Ghost." Ezra joked as he unloaded the supplies, Ahkilleon got up and headed toward them.

Ahkilleon looked to Ezra, Ezra reluctantly handed him his lightsaber "You sure you want to do this?"

"I have to know if I can." Ahkilleon said as he took the blade, he turned on the green lightsaber and adjusted the length, Turok stopped his roasting and then Kanan sighed, "You know there are other ways of training besides, lifting rocks with your body and the force?

Ahkilleon followed Kanan away from the small camp and then took a fighting stance, "You want to teach me something, don't hold back."
Kanan turned his lightsaber on, and did a formal training salute before Ahkilleon attacked, Kanan dodged it but saw it was faint before he blocked it. Ahkilleons lashed upwards with the green lightsaber, the two of them starting to move all over the place. Kanan kept Ahkilleon off him by avoiding Ahkilleon's wide strikes and quick thrusts. "Stop playing defense, attack me." Ahkilleon said before Kanan countered "You're rushing into it, if I was Asimov I'd want to wear you down."

"You'll wait like him." Ahkilleon said before the two went blow for blow around Ezra and Turok, "How's Sato?" Turok asked.

"Still upset we let you and Ahkilleon come back, but I think he's more upset that Ahkilleon is still alive to ignore him." Ezra said with a smirk.

Turok snickered and gave a nod watching Ahkilleon switch to a stronger form before Kanan countered with his own, "I'm glad you were there, when he came back Ezra." Turok said as he watched the sparring, "Was always glad his first hunt was with someone like you, you're a good friend."
Ezra felt the solemn tone in Turok's voice, and sat down with him. "It's my fault you know, everything that's happened to the lad. I was so sure I was doing the right thing but getting him to the Militia. With Ahsoka gone, it's what he needed." Turok said, shaking his head "Instead I got him killed."
Staying quiet, it showed Ezra didn't disagree "You, did what you thought was best. I'm sure Kanan and Hera would have done the same for me."
"They let you stay innocent." Turok said.

"Huh?" Ezra asked, "Ahkilleon has always been in a rush to grow up, and I thought it was more important that he become the man I wanted, instead of letting him be the boy he should have been."
Ezra shrugged and scoffed "I'm older though."

"Biologically yes, but Ahkilleon he…" he trailed off when Ahkilleon and Kanan were now hacking at one another from all directions their feet close to tangling against one another as they spun around ina whirlwind of blue and green before Ahkilleon started to hammer at Kanan who was backing up, "Come on, fight- FIGHT!" Ahkilleon shouted at Kanan who used the force to blast him away "Enough, you're letting your emotions control your strikes."
Ahkilleon was pushed back his boots skidding on the rock, but he didn't relent, "I said fight!" Ahkilleon shouted attacking Kanan again, leaping into the air with an overhead strike so hard it forced Kanan down into a crouch, their lightsabers grinding "You can't beat Asimov with anger, that's his way. Righteous fury isn't the way." Kanan said.

Pushing the defense to it's near limit, Ahkilleon's muscles flexed before he took a breath and backed off, he paced back and forth twirling the lightsaber as he cooled off, "I need my lightsabers back, I can't focus with Ezra's it's too…."
"Awesome." Ezra called out, Ahkilleon turned it off and flung it to Ezra "To you, brother."

"Doubt we'll have time to find another jedi temple with a hidden crystal like on Lothal, for now you should focus on letting go of that temper?" Kanan told him, Ahkilleon walked over and grabbed the blue shirt that he wore at Krownest and put it on with the shoulder pauldron tying it to his shoulder.

Ahkilleon didn't respond, Kanan got a beep on his comlink "Ezra, time to go."
"Go, go where?" Turok asked.

"We've still got a rebellion to build, in case you forgot." Ezra said as he got up "Espcially now that no more Militia shipments are coming, I'm on a supply run. Ezra is going with Hera, Zeb and Chop on some secret mission. And Sabine is heading back to her people."

Ahkilleon turned away and grabbed a bottle of water, taking a sip "Lad, you should go. Be good to stretch your legs off the planet." Turok Said.

Still Ahkilleon was silent for a while, "Sure." Ahkilleon said in a dark tone heading toward the speeder.

Turok got up and walked over to him, "Listen, Ahkilleon you know I… I never got to… what I mean to say is." Turok tried to say "I don't blame you Turok."
Gritting his fangs, "No, it was my fault I-" "I made my choices Turok, I decided to follow the Militia, to follow Asimov, nobody else but me. It was my mistake, my mess and I'll be the one to fix it. Just like how you taught me Turok." Ahkilleon said turning to him, setting his jaw Ahkilleon looked up at the old trandoshan. Turok swallowed his emotions, "Well… get a move on." Turoks said.

Ahkilleon nodded before he followed the jedi to the speeder, eventually they returned to Chopper Base proper, a Mandalorian starship was parked beside the Ghost, Sabine pacing out by it with her brother Tristan. Zeb and Hera were waiting outside the Ghost when they saw the jedi return, "About time." Zeb said as he boarded.

"Hera, alright if Specter Seven comes with us?" Ezra asked jokingly, "The more the merrier, but we have to move fast to the rendezvous." Hera said but Ahkilleon was already walking toward Sabine.

Sabine met his gaze, "Can't believe it took you to die to get you to come back to the Rebellion."
"You know me Sabine, stubborn to the end." Ahkilleon said as he took her hand, she stood closer to him and the two of them pressed their foreheads together. "We will see each other again, I swear." Ahkilleon said.

"Are you giving me the word of a jedi?" Sabine asked him softly. Ahkilleon shook his head "No, but when I was… gone, I saw a light it called to me." Ahkilleon said.

"But?" Sabine asked him, as if why he didn't got to it "It wasn't you, and I'll always come back to you." Sabine gapped hearing him whisper that, Sabine felt his lips on hers, and her hands slid up his arms and around his neck. Tristan rolled his eyes when he saw Sabine's left leg rise up off the ground.

Ezra snickered "Come on love birds, rap it up, the Rebellion waits for no one."

They ended the sweet kiss and held onto their hands as long as they could walking to the rest of their ships, and a uncertain future.
