The sun a rises from the horizon across the blue sky. Axel Bridge is still asleep and it's Monday, but his parents tried to wake him up. "Axel wake up, get ready for school." His Mother Ellen Bridge tries to wake her son up.
"Okay, okay. I'm up." Axel stretches his both arms and jerks his arms around all active. He gets dressed into his school uniform and rushes downstairs for breakfast. Axel grabs a bowl, some cereal, milk and a spoon. He pulls out a chair and sits down while eating his breakfast.
His father David Bridge laid his eyes on his son while taking another bite from his toast. He knows something about his son failing his exam at school and tries to tell him to work harder to pass his exams. "Son. You need to do better at your exams, everyone knows you're failing it. All I'm saying to you is to focus Axel. Work harder on your exam, please?" David tries to give sympathy to his son.
Axel's head tilted downward and then lifts his head up. He looks at his father eye to eye as he nods. "You're right Dad, I can't keep failing all over again." He said to his father. He picks up his bag and heads off to the bus stop. He waves goodbye to his parents and hoping he could pass exams to make his parents proud of him.
Axel took the long walk to the bus stops, he was halfway there in Devon street. Axel walks into a local shop to buy a sandwich, crisp and a drink. He places on to the counter before he buys it. Axel looks at the girl standing behind the large tree. The shop owner adds the total up for Axel's payment for his lunch. "Excuse me." The shop owner tries to get Axel's attention.
Axel looks away and hands his money to the shop owner and walks out. As Axel thought he saw a girl standing behind the tree she wasn't there. Axel thought that he might be imagining something like out from the blue as he continues onwards to the bus stop. He catches up with his friends at the bus stop. Sam, Michael and Chloe. They were all standing around at the bus stop as they see Axel coming towards the bus stop.
"Yo what kept you waiting bro?" Sam asked.
"Yeah long story short, just bought my lunch." He said to Sam.
Axel sees the same girl from earlier staring at Axel. The bus makes a stop right in front of Axel as they all got in. The bus drives off while the girl suddenly disappears again, Axel believes in something completely strange like he just saw a ghost. As the bus is heading half way to Lakefield while Chloe talks about gossip with her friends about school and other things.
"Can't believe Becky just ditch school since last week. Don't know if the teachers would ban her from coming to school." She talks about a student from their school never want to go to school.
"Wait… how do you know about Becky ditching school from last week?" Michael wondered.
"Mate, she might have got a detention from the head teacher." Said Sam.
Axel is just looking through the window at a great view with large fields of hills. As they were getting close to the town until the bus driver sees a girl standing in the middle of road causing him to pull the breaks. The bus loses its control on the steering wheel as they crash towards a ditch by going down hill from off the road.
Hours later Axel slowly wakes up from the bus crash. He jerks his head around but he does feel the aching pain from his right arm. Axel is the only one who is still in that bus, but his friends wasn't even there. He carefully gets out from the bus only to find himself in the woods. "Michael… Sam… Chloe…?" His friends must have disappeared and no where to be found.
Axel needed to find his way back up to the road towards Lakefiled. He finds himself in walk path in the woods of Mary Dale district peak, he walks across through the foot path and finds an old man sitting in the bench all alone by himself.
"Where are you heading?" He asked Axel.
"I'm heading to Lakefield." Axel replied back to the old man.
"Lakefield isn't the safest town to go to, a lot of people could be dead out there." He knows something happened in Lakefield. "If you're the only one who is heading to the town. I could wish you good luck." He had to warn Axel about the town as he kept that in mind.
Axel heads into the men's bathroom to wash his face. He right arm is still hurting as he checks for bruises, but it hurts a bit as he rolls his sleeves up. "Ow… shit! Feels like hell." Axel walks outside and heads over to the café where it looks completely empty. He stumbles towards the back of the kitchen to find something to recover his right arm.
He goes through the cupboards and finds the first aid kit to recover his right arm from the bus crash. Axel wraps the bandages around his arm and puts his uniform back on, he left the café as he continues to follow the walk path surrounded by the fog.
Axel finds himself in a local cemetery where he sees a woman. Danni Rayman was laying some flowers on the grave. He goes to approach her as she quickly gets up from the grave. "Hello? Sorry to bother you, do you know where I can get to Lakefield?" He kindly asked her.
She stood still for a moment where she nearly got jump scared by Axel. "Oh sorry, I didn't know you were here?" Danni wondered.
"I know. I didn't mean to scare you, have you seen my friends? I got out from a bus crash." Axel asked.
"No, I haven't seen them." She said to Axel. "I was placing those flowers for my husband's grave, Cody." Danni wipes her tears from her eyes about her husband's death.
Axel apologises to Danni about her husband's death before he introduced himself to Danni. "I'm sorry Cody… I'm Axel by the way." He gave his hand out for a shake.
"Nice to meet you, my name Danni." She give Axel a handshake as greeted each other. All that Axel needed to do is to travel to Lakefield to find his friends, but Danni warns him about the town.
"Look, I need to go to town. I have to find my friends now." Axel leaves before Danni puts her hands on his left arm.
"Wait! It's not safe out there." Danni tries to warn him.
"I know… that's why I'm going there." Axel walks out from the cemetery and heads north. He continues to follow through the foot path in the gloomy fog, it's hard to walk through the paths of the woods. As he manages to walk out from the woods and himself on the road that would lead him to the road towards Lakefield. Axel kept on walking towards the road and then he hears static sound.
Where is it coming from? He still hears the sound coming from the Land Rover as runs towards it. Axel looks through the car window and sees a radio making the static sounds. He smashes the car window and takes the radio with him, he tries changing the signal but nothing works only to hear the static sounds.
Axel sees a tunnel as he walks onwards to the town. Axel walks across a mile out from the tunnel, but then he sees the girl again standing far from him. "Hey!? Who are you?" He tries to asks the girl's name, but she runs away from him. Axel tries to catch up and follows the girl. Axel tries to find the girl through the fog but it's more harder to find her. The girl must have lead Axel in the town known as Lakefield.
