"Chloe! Help Ryan with the last box." said a man. "Alright dad let me just get Spike out." said a dark haired teen. She opened a huge letting out a Rottweiler to stretch his limbs and yawned. "Go outside boy and we'll walk around town ok." said the teen. The dog barked and went downstairs and pass the kitchen towards the backyard. The teen heard the grunt from her little brother struggling to get the box down the hall where she is. "I'm coming. Wasn't Matthew supposed to help you?" said the teen picking up the box. "He with dad setting up the man cave." said Ryan leading her to his room. She dropped the box on his bed and walked back to her room. The teen unpacked the five boxes and put everything away in time her and her best friend to go to their new high school tomorrow. Brushing out her midnight black hair to her emo style and heard a knock at her door. A boy with black hair with dark red highlight came in. "Ready to head out. Your dad wants us to do some errands." said Matthew. "Fine let me get my phone and bag." said Chloe. "Let me get the beast." said Matthew grabbing the dog leash from her dresser. She got her things and went out to the door. "Bye Dad! Bye Ryan!" she shouted. "Be back before Dark!" her dad shouted from the basement. "Got it!" said Chloe shutting the door behind her.
Chloe's phone vibrated meaning a text was sent. "Get dog food, bedding, laundry detergent, meat for grilling with the neighbors,wood cutting blades for the machines, sharpening stone, and don't forget to pick up your schedules today." Matthew read over her shoulder. "I get the supplies for the machines, stone, and meet you at the school in two hours." He says. "Alright. Might as well take Spike with me. Call me dude." Said Chloe was they crossed the street turning opposite directions. Chloe walked down the block with Spike taking her time to know her surroundings and Spiketo mark his territory. She continued on until Spike barked at something from around the corner of the video game store. He pulled to hard for Chloe to hold onto the leash making run freely and heard two screamed. "IT'S CRUSHING MY RIBS!Do something Cunningham!" Said the first voice. "What am I suppose to do with this monster dog ready to chew on our faces?!" Said the second voice. "Spike! Heal!" Said Chloe turning the corner to see Spike pinning two boys on their chests with his paws. Spike got off walking towards her slowly like a kid would do. "What did we tell a out running off like that?" Said Chloe rubbing his head and grabbed the leash again. "Thanks for saving our butts. I'm Randy and this is Howard." Said The boy with purple like hair. "You new arent you?" Said The ginger. "Yeah me, my dad, little brother, and best friend moved last week. I think across the street from your house." Said Chloe pointing to Randy.
"Oh your the family who bought the housewith the huge pool and hot tub."Said Randy. "That's the one. Me and Matthew are doing some errands. I'm getting stuff for the grill." Said Chloe. "You had me at food. Lets go." Said Howard. "Ok. You guys are freshmen?" Said Chloe. "Yeah, we can give you and Matthew a tour if you want." Said Randy. "That'd be dope. But once Matthew calls when he's at the the school toget our schedules." Said Chloe. "The store is three blocks down so it take long." Said Randy until his back flashed red. "Be right back. I'm gonna check out some . . . metal?" Said Randy rushing inside a store resembling hot topic. Chloe shrugged tying Spike to the iron bike rack and went in leaving Howard alone with him. She looked at merch that were on sale and felt someone tap her shoulder. Chloe looked over her shoulder seeing a goth looking teen with fake vampire fangs. "Hello. I like the your choker you have on. Its symbolic to magic you know." Said the boy giggling. "True but to me I think the witchcraft is in style. Nice top hat by the way."Said Chloe and heard Randy coming. "Oh hey Julian. I see you met Chloe. Where's Howard?" Said Randy then saw him outside through the waved then sniffed for something looking down at Spike and turned around to try to hold back a puke.
"We better get going." Said Chloe after seeing him gag. "Oh dear. Hope to see you soon, My Nightingale." Said Julian leaving them with his cheeks turning pink. Randy and Chloe went outside and gaged from smelling the air. "What the juice Howard?" Said Randy waving off the stink. "It wasntme. It was him." Said Howard pointing to Spike. "Did you go through the garage again Spikey?" Said Chloe pinching her nose. Spike turned his head away knowing he's in trouble. "You know itmakes you gassy." Said Chloe. Spike growled playfully at her then walked beside her. "No kidding lets go." said Howard. Chloe grabbed the leash and walked with the boys to the market. "Can one of you watch him?" said Chloe. "After sniffing his fart no way?" said Howard crossing his arms. "I'll let you two use the hot tub for a week." said Chloe. "We're in." said Howard taking the leash. "Thanks bro." said Chloe walking inside and grabbed the shopping cart. She spent a half hour getting the errands done and got some for herself then walked out after paying. "Where to now?" said Randy. "School." said Chloe making the boys groan. "Free food and hot tub." She reminded them.
For an hour they arrived at the front of the school seeing Matthew leaning against the tree listening to black veils brides and saw them. "Matthew this is Howard and Randy. Got the schedule for us." Said Chloe. Matthew handed hers while looking at Howard and Randy until Spike farted. "He went in he trash again." Said Matthew walking back from the smell. "Yeah who's fault is it?" Said Chloe pinching her nose. "I told Ryan to take the trash out." Said Matthew. "Well I'll kill him before dad does. Now let's go before this tree falls on us from Spike's poison gas." Said Chloe walking with Howard. Matthew grabbed the leash and walked behind the trio back to the house. Chloe unlock the door and put the stuff on the kitchen table as Howard and Randy looked around. "Dad! We're home and brought friends over!" She called. "Backyard and get the lighter fluid!" Said a man's voice. Chloe grabbed it out of the bag and went to the backyard seeing the yard looking nice to grill. "Here and Spike blew up twice." Said Chloe then heard a loud fart inside. "Was that Spike?" Said Chloe. "No it was me this time." Said Howard. "Wasnt Ryan supposed to be taking the trash?" Said The man. "He must be playing video games again." Said Chloe. "Ryan take out the trash now!" The man yelled inside the house. "So your Chloes dad? I'm Randy and my friend Howard is with Matthew right now." Said Randy. "I'm Mr. Ryu. Stay as long as you two would like the food will be done in five hours-ish." Said Mr. Ryu pouring the lighter fluid. "I'll show you around." said Chloe seeing Ryan coming down the stairs. "Ryan meet Randy." said Chloe. "Hey." said Ryan grabbing the trash bag out of the bin. "Spike is sleeping with you tonight." said Chloe leading Randy upstairs. She showed him all five rooms and found Howard playing games with Matthew in the man cave. "Dibs on the next round." said Randy sitting on the black gaming chair next to Matthew. "Dorks." Chloe scoffed.
