"I'm not going to hurt you" she scoffed "I've heard that one before.." the lines seemed endlessly blurred with her words, Arashi stumbled on her feet and looked at the Anbu who's breath was short. He was losing to an exhausted twelve year old.

Arashi inhaled a gulp of air and her hands trembled. She wanted to see her brother and this Anbu promised that she would but Arashi was still skeptical, the one thing she knew more than anyone was to not give away her trust. "I know you probably have" the Anbu whispered. Sympathy clogged his throat as looked at her violet eyes which were so empty and yet somehow hopeful and he felt his sympathy grow. It didn't help that some of her clothes were torn and her scars were very visible.

"Do not pity me" he blinked. "I don't, but I will never you" she looked at him and she exhaled painfully, she really wanted to believe him, the sincerity and certainty in his voice was almost convincing. Moreover his words felt like a reassurance that he was unlike the monster that raised her, that had become her father. She didn't make a decision on her faith in his words, and Arashi nodded instead, her exhausted body spoke for her. She couldn't fight anymore.

The Anbu came forward to her limping, from both his pride and his physic. He just got bested by a child and he was sure if it weren't for the fact that she was already exhausted when he encountered her, he would be just like the rest of his Anbu team. The Anbu hoped she didn't take this opportunity to attack him by surprise. She didn't. He took her bridal style and Arashi let herself be taken as the smell of cigarettes went through her lungs. It was better to rest, if they tried anything, she was sure she would find a way to escape. She left Orochimaru, that's all that mattered..for now.

The Anbu allowed himself to curse as her breath finally stabilized whilst he thought of his injured team and the wreckage the fighting had done. Truly it was a wonder that the moment he chose to rest from his Jonin Sensei duties. He was assigned a mission as an Anbu that just happened to reveal that the Yondaime had twins. Just his rotten luck. Damn. He really wished he could smoke right now.

..

The morning dawn came, sunlight rays went through the window and the room was illuminated with warmth. Sunlight fell on the sitting figure of beautiful blonde locks and stunning violet eyes. Her eyes were wide and calm and she stared at Inoichi who's very being shuddered at the eerily gaze of two people he would never be able to face. However, Inoichi was a professional and didn't let it deter him.

He grasped his clipboard and sighed, "what's your name?" he asked gently and Arashi blinked. "My name is Arashi Namikaze" she introduced calmly and Inoichi and the Hokage flinched. Arashi unaware drank a glass of water and she felt almost...calm. she wasn't tortured yet so that was a good sign. Moreover she was Orochimaru's student in a sense so they had to talk to her with caution otherwise she'd escape. Furthermore, she did take out three trained Anbu agents so she guessed they didn't want to aggravate her.

However that wasn't important. None of it truly was. "Where's my brother?" Arashi asked directly and Inoichi and the Third Hokage tensed.

Naruto was a special case and Inoichi wasn't sure the Hokage would let them meet, biological sibling as tested or not, Arashi was absolutely dangerous. She was an S-rank child raised by Orochimaru and she was clearly someone who could be controlled by no one. He wondered what the Hokage would decide, after all team 7 would return from the wave mission in a few days.

"I'll tell you about him later but now you'll have to answer my questions otherwise you'll be in an even more precarious situation" Inoichi pacified and Arashi rose and eyebrow and Inoichi had a sense that she was looking down on him.

However, Arashi didn't say anything and merely leaned more on the table and hummed. "Okay" she stated as she looked at the Hokage and Inoichi. "What do you want to know?" she asked and Inoichi smiled, "everything" Arashi began to explain everything she remembered, from the moment of her first exposure to Orochimaru to the the day before. She left out significant details of course that were related to others, but she didn't hide anything else including her strength and her knowledge of almost the entirety of the secrets of the Leaf Village.

Inoichi noted everything down and he couldn't help but frown at the lack of care when she mentioned that Orochimaru experimented on her. Why was that? Inoichi wanted to know, however it seemed inappropriate. Moreover, it wasn't important, there were a lot more things to deal with, especially the numerous inclinations that there were spies in the Leaf Village and hidden hideouts that they they hadn't discovered.

Hiruzen pursed his lips, he chose to remain silent during the interrogation, however he noted that Arashi said that it was more than likely that someone had sneakily sold her to Orochimaru for something else. And as versatile as Orochimaru was, there were only a few people who would know the location of Kushina Uzumaki during the day she'd given birth. It had to be someone extremely powerful in the Leaf Village or someone extremely close to Kushina.

He also noted one thing. The curse mark. Arashi made no mention of it and Hiruzen had seen her medical report, there was no signs of a curse mark and Hiruzen found that didn't make any sense. Arashi was definitely telling the truth and sure she was omitting a few pieces of information, however from the moment she opened her mouth, Hiruzen was sure that she had no loyalty to Orochimaru whatsoever. Then again, he could be wrong, he never saw Orochimaru's intentions coming and Arashi was both Orochimaru's protege and Minato and Kushina's daughter. How could she not be skilled in deception?

"When can I see my brother?" Arashi asked breaking the Hokage out of his thoughts. Inoichi looked at the Hokage who nodded his head and then left. It was uncharacteristic in Inoichi's mind, the Hokage was usually soft and much more lenient to children and yet he seemed not to have the same reservations for Arashi, which was weird. Arashi was Minato and Kushina's daughter and was an original child of the Leaf Village, factually the village had failed in ensuring her safety. And yet the Hokage wasn't sympathetic. It was odd.

Inoichi looked at Arashi who's eyes didn't show any indication of acknowledgement at the Hokage's presence and he pursed his lips. Was this one what would call naturally enmity? He wondered how the young girl would feel after she saw the treatment of Naruto, she certainly wouldn't sit still and that thought brought him more comfort than he thought it would.

"Your brother, Naruto is on a mission with his team, he'll be back in a few days and I'll make sure he'll see you" Arashi nodded but her face showed no joy but it did relax. The Hokage made no mention of what they would do to her after she met Naruto but Arashi was sure she'd be treated normally. She was already being treated quite better considering no one looked within her mind however Arashi wasn't fooled. The Hokage didn't look at her like her parent's child, he looked at her like Orochimaru's child.

However, Arashi didn't care nor was she perturbed, he wouldn't be the first nor the last. Moreover, it was good enough to see her brother for now, moreover it was also good that no one asked her about the curse mark just yet.

"The genjutsu is about to wear off kid"

"May I ask a question" she asked to Inoichi who nodded, "the Anbu that brought me here, how can I thank him?" Inoichi pursed his lips thinking about the Hokage's reaction, the man probably didn't want Arashi near his son.

"I'm afraid that's impossible, their identifies are strictly not to be known by anyone. Please have a nice night and if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask" Arashi nodded and as Inoichi left, she leaned on the pillow. Her eyes closed tightly and to the Anbu watching her, she looked to be falling asleep.

A few seconds later, Arashi's eyes cracked open and she looked at Kurama who was slowly fading away. "Kurama what's going on?" She asked gently, almost afraid at the receding chakra. Kurama smiled softly, "I'm fading kid, I think, my counterpart is close and I'm most likely going to merge with him" Arashi's heart quaked, she didn't know what to say. The calm fortitude faded away and her eyes which were empty started to gather with tears. She wasn't good at emotions nor was she someone to express them, but how could tell Kurama that she loved him. He was her family. How could she tell him that?

Arashi looked up and Kurama stood infront of her quietly. "Look on the bright side, Naruto is closer than you think" ..yes. Her brother was close. He was close to being here. But Arashi was close to losing Kurama forever. She didn't want to lose him. She didn't want to lose the only family she had for the longest time.

"Please try and protect him" she muttered and Kurama's figure was almost close. Close to hugging her. Why couldn't her hands raise up? Why couldn't she say goodbye?

Kurama don't leave me.

"I'm sorry kid"

Please.

Then Kurama disappeared and Arashi was pushed back into reality. Her eyes were full of tears and she wondered if she was forever doomed to be alone. Naruto might not even like her and might not even accept her.

She was a broken human being and she wasn't someone who was nice or sweet, what if he didn't like her? What if he saw her and he realized she wasn't worth anything because this time she had nothing to give. Because unlike with Naruto, with Orochimaru she'd been able to give her blood and her body.

She hugged her knees, she drew her sleeves to be longer on her arm and she looked at the curse mark that was hidden with a number of physical scars and she closed her eyes, she'd given Orochimaru her wrist and her soul and she knew he never really would have loved her otherwise. She helped Karin and her mother escape, so they may have valued her, but they didn't know her. She saved Kabuto from death so he owed her. But she'd given Kurama nothing and he loved her regardless and now he was gone..

She was alone, which meant she had no reason to live.
