In a dark alleyway at Pallet Town...
A couple is sitting near a small fire.
Surrounding them were a bunch of small stolencans of food and ragged clothing.
"Sweetie...I'm hungry..." A female, black eyes and light-colored skin said.
Her clothing was slightly dirty and rugged, as well as her body.
The father didn't look any better, his body battered with bruises after some weird-looking Pokémon threw him across the sky.
"Stop whining, honey...we'll get food somewhere soon." He said, his voice sounding tired and pained.
'I swear, I'll get that brat for this...'
"You three seem to be in a mix of trouble." A random, male-sounding voice spoke to them near the end of the alleyway.
The couple snapped their heads towards the man in question.
"And who are you, ya' creep?" The husband said, frowning with anger as ge stood in front of his wife, ready to protect her.
The man chuckled.
"Oh, I'm just some businessman who happened to see you two in some dire need of help." The businessman said, a grin on his face.
"...I'm listening." The husband said.
"Word has it that you know of a man we're looking for." The businessman said. "Amari Tanori, correct?" He asked.
The husband raised an eyebrow suspiciously.
"What do you want with him? Not that I care, but he isn't particularly...interesting." The husband asked.
"Oh, I'd beg to differ, but we'd be here all day if I were to explain it to you two." The businessman said. "Anyways, my offer is simple: Give me the boy's location, as well as any other information you have about him, and I'll give you two a place to stay with food and water, free of charge." He said.
The couple stared at each other in shock, before looking back at the businessman with widened eyes.
"Are ya' serious?" The husband asked.
"Why would a businessman as powerful as me lie to you?" The man asked in response, raising an eyebrow.
The couple looked at each other once again, before turning back to the businessman.
"Alright, well tell you everything." The husband said.
The businessman smirked.
"Splendid! Follow me." He said, leading the two out of the alleyway as they followed him to an black limousine.
"Before we start...who are you?"
The man chuckled, hiding the villanous look on his face.
"You can call me..."
"...Giovanni."
The main man of Team Rocket himself makes his debut.
