Emily was looking around campus for her cousin Betty upon hearing the news. She was sure she knew what Betty was feeling so she went and check her dorm room, and sure enough there she was laying on her bed staring at the roof.

"I thought I might find you here" she said leaning on the doorjamb

"Oh Em, what are we going to do, Leah was a part of the team that set Tidal free" Betty sighed covering her eyes with her arm

"I don't know Betts, but apparently she was returned to the prison cell and even went to solitary confinement" Emily said

"I KNOW!" Betty barked "that idiot," she growled softly

"No she isn't; we knew she had a history with Tilda, we knew that one day she would help her out. But for now we just need to be patient" Emily hugged her.

"Okay" Betty smiled before her stomach rumbled.

"Come on let's head to the canteen" Emily laughed

"Sure, I could sue some of Tuckshop's food" Betty smiled.

When they got to the Canteen's hall they were shocked to see a group of third years blocking the door

"What's going on?" Emily asked

"I'm not sure" betty replied as several second years left.

"So you guys noticed it to huh?" Jack asked as he and Kat walked over to them

"Yeah" Betty nodded so she walked over. "Hey mind if we go in?"

"No, you can't" one of them said

"why not?" Kat asked

"The canteen is off limit to all second and first years, especially their kind"

"Their kind?" Jack growled

"Heteromorphs" the other one said

"WHAT!" Jack snarled

"Easy" Kat said

"You know that is against school rules right?" Emily asked as she pulled out a couple of steel balls

"Show us where, little first year" one of the scoffed before they all summoned weapons. Emily charged her quirk up in response

"WHAT IS GOING ON!" A voice shouted as another third year strode over, anger and annoyance clear in her stride. The third years blocking the way were trembling as they were faced with Marley Airheart, one of the strongest Third Years and the head of the Student Representative Council. She glared at the third years. "Well?" she asked "Care to tell me what is going on here?" she asked

"We were instructed not to let any second or first years in" the one they first spoke to said

"Oh really, and why is that, also where are they suppose to get food from?" Marley asked

"One of the other canteens" another one said

"Oh?" Marley asked, knowing that there were no other major canteens at the school, and that Tuckshop's one was the main one and was used by all the students. "Which one because I'm pretty sure this is the only one!" she snapped

"Yes ma'am" they said

"You see ma'am, the third years just want an area to relax and have some food; but due to the other year levels using the same area it is hard to relax" another of the third years guard told her.

"Where is he?" Marley asked before she used her quirk to get past them

"Wait!" they all said

"You four go back to you dorms, I'm sure you can find something in your kitchens there, sorry if you were hoping to get some of Tuckshop's food. I'll treat you all later" Marley smiled.

"No worries" the first years said

"And don't think I didn't hear that crack about Heteromorphs" Marley frowned as she walked into the room.

"COLTON!" she shouted looking around, the third years there looked nervous because Marley was known to be a fair yet stern SRC Leader, and as one of the top three students at the school meant she got a lot of respect from the others. Only there was one trouble maker for her, one who many considered to be the fourth ranked student in the school, Colton Collins a hero student that transferred in from business affair thanks to his quirk which allowed him to project anything he pictured in his mind. "COLTON!" she shouted again.

"I'm right here" Colton said adjusted his glasses, his light brown slicked back hair made him look even more smug.

"You know that this is a shared area, not for just the third years!" Marley growled

"But why do we have to share with them?" Colton asked

"Because they need to eat, and the canteen area is made for that. So why are you so gung-ho to make it a space for the third years while locking out the other two year levels, where are they suppose to eat?" Marley asked

"They can figure something out" Colton said sipping an espresso.

"Why you?" Marley growled

"And that reminds me, why are we letting Heteromorphs in anyway?" Colton asked

"Keep pushing it Colton, and get your bunny brigade away from the door NOW!" she shouted phasing through the wall.

"Damn her" Colton growled as he pushed his glassed up.

"That moron" Marley growled as she sat in the SRC office and looked over some paperwork

"Someone got you all worked up?" Cody asked as he walked in with some sandwiched and a bottle of cola.

"Thanks Cody, what would I do without you?" she smiled.

"Blown a casket, put several holes into walls" Cody joked.

"Hey I'm not that bad!" Marley exclaimed

"Tell that to Riley and Brittany" Cody again joked.

"I'm surprised Colton hasn't thrown his weight around, especially with his name" Marley sneered

"Dallas Collins, the senator for the Gold Coast, how can someone so humble be the father of some arrogant prick" Cody muttered

"I know, but this thing he has about having areas for the Third years is starting to get annoying" Marley frowned.

"He does have some merit to that, but just now area where is necessary like the canteen, so why not make a special room just for us third years?" Cody asked

"I've been planning that with Mr Jackman, all of the SRC agreed to it, heck that's all we discuss at the last meeting" Marley informed her friend

"Oh" Cody nodded.

"And that quip his illusion made about Heteromorphs" she sighed

"I'll look into it" Cody told her.

"Thanks" Marley smiled as she started on the food and drink Cody brought for her.

Colton walked into the pool area and went to the locker room when he heard a splash, he looked and some a girl with neon pink hair, matching skin and aquatic feature. He scowled

'Damn heteromorphs' he though. Sure he knew they were humans but they looks like mutants.

"oh you're Colton Collins" the girl said revealing her aquamarine yes.

"And who are you?" Colton asked

"I'm Coral" the girl said as she got out of the pool, holding her arms out and making her wings go into her arms "I heard about you, and how you hate those who look different" Coral frown "like we're freaks, if you got a problem with mutant quirks just say it, don't hide behind your smugness, or do you only save those for us?" she asked making him blushed at her closeness.

"So what?" Colton asked "Who cares, now leave me be while I have a swim" Colton scoffed as he went to change, coral just glaring at him; before flipping him the bird

"ASS HOLE!" she shouted.

"Yeah yeah" Colton muttered as he walked out in his wetsuit and entered the pool to swim some laps but his mind wandered to the event which made him distrust those with mutant type quirks, he was young at the time and visiting his grandparents in Coolangatta when a man with a mutant quirked attacked a bank he and his grandmother went into, he was frightened by it, having not interacted with many Mutant quirk users. The criminal wasn't getting what he wanted so he grabbed Colton and threatened to crush him if he didn't get what he wanted, that was before a shield carrying figure crashed through the bank's window and smacked the mutant in the head; he's saviour was none other than the current headmaster of his school Mr Outback. This is what lead him to coming to Jackman in the first place, he was shocked that there were several mutant quirk users there; knowing the harm they could do made him want to get rid of them.

"Several pompous asshole" Coral shouted as she walked into the canteen area, smiling as she saw all of the different year levels interacting with each other

"Let me guess: Colton" Cody sighed as he walked up to her

"Yep" Coral ground as she grabbed a blueberry muffin and started to tear into it. "Any word on the next pescatarian menu options?" she asked

"It will be up next week along with the other new menus. Don't worry I like to keep all students in mind here" Tuckshop laughed

"Thank you Tuckshop" Coral said smiling.

"No worries" Tuckshop smiled back before going to work in the kitchen

"So do you know why Colton's such a dick to us?" Coral asked

"He was used as a hostage." Cody told her

"What?" Coral gasped.

"Yeah" Cody nodded, a frown on his face, "A heteromorph used him as a bargaining tool until our headmaster stepped in and stopped him. Problem is, that heteromorph got away" Cody scowled

"But" Coral gasped "So no wonder he can't relax around us" Coral sadly frowned.

Colton looked at the newspaper and dropped in fright,

"No, he can't be" he said seeing Brisbane in the paper picture, only for memories of the bank attack to come flooding in "He, he, he's back' he shook. Running out quickly running into various students and even Mss Scarlet

"WATCH IT MR COLLINS!" she shouted before frowning, she could tell just from the look on his face that something happened.

"Have to get out" he panicked

"Colton!" Marley shouted as he crashed into her, she then looked at his tremble expression, sighing she raised her hand and slapped him

"OW!" Colton shouted "WHAT WAS THAT FOR!" he shouted

"You were locked in an anxiety attack, let me guess the brute from form back then coming back. Brisbane huh" Marley said

"Yeah" Colton sighed "It is him, even after all this time. He hasn't changed and now he's working with them. I can't" he started to hyperventilate. "I thought they caught him"

"They did, but he escaped. And don't worries I'm sure they will get him back in custody" Marley said "Now, go and head into town and do something relaxing"

"Sure I can do that" Colton said as he adjusted his glasses and went into town. Marley stood up and grabbed the news paper frowning

"I just hope you guys catch him" she said referring to the pro heroes.

What no one knew was that Brisbane was in the town and he was walking towards Jackman's campus. He had something to do there for he believe that it contained the location of the last hidden Storm Sibling. Of course he had no proof of this. So it was better than nothing so he headed there

"Stupid Heteromorphs" Colton scowled as he biped into something before he looked up and went into shock

"Oh a Jackman student, how fortunate, I'll be taking your access id" Brisbane smirked as he reached for Colton

"NO!" he shouted making a cloud of yellow smoke appeared, which became a gold knight. The knight bowed and quickly attacked Brisbane.

"He's here, how can he be here?" Colton panicked

"Wait you look familiar" Brisbane smirked "Oh you're that punk brat" he punched the knight making it turn back into smoke "Not a bad quirk kid, but my Lion's Share is much better" he laughed.

"No, please" Colton begged as Brisbane started to reach form him

"Sorry kid" he laughed before he recoiled and covered his ears "MY EARS!" he shouted

"What?" Colton asked before he felt himself being pulled to his feet

"You good?" a voice asked he recognised.

"you're that girl from the pool" Colton said realising her it was

"Yeah Coral Coast" she smiled before she inhaled and opened her mouth making no sound came out before it looked like she was shouting at something while Brisbane was mewling in pain "nice to meet you" she smiled and helped him up, brushing a couple of dust marks off his jacket and pants.

"Why?" Colton asked

"Well I'm a hero in training, and you look like you need help." Coral smiled before she removed her jacket and glared at the lion

"Sonic wave attacks huh?" Brisbane asked

"What is your quirk?" Colton asked

"Mermaiden, I'm basically a mermaid with sonic attacks like that of a dolphin's sonar" Coral said smirking

"Thankfully I can help you" Colton said before he made the area feel like they were underwater

"Wow" Coral looked around in amazement before she brought out her manta ray like wings and kicked off the pavement

"I don't think so" Brisbane shouted as he lobbed a rock at Colton, which made the water disappeared, making Coral crash to the ground

"CORAL!" Colton shouted

"Damn, how strong is this guy?" she asked as she got back up and retracted her wings.

"he's too strong" Colton told them

"I know" Coral frowned.

"Now time for a nice meal" Brisbane said as he licked his lips, only for a shield to hit him in the face. "OW!" he growled.

"Terrorising the town, aiding in the lawful escape of three prisoners, and NOW YOU'RE GOING AFTER MY STUDENTS!" Mr Jackman growled as he walked over, his shield getting back into his hand.

"Mr Outback?" Brisbane growled as he growled.

"I didn't think you would be THIS STUPID to return to MY CITY!" Mr Outback said cracking his knuckles.

"Your city?" Brisbane growled "Soon this will be the under the ownership of the Disaster quartet" Brisbane declared before he was punched in the jaw. Mr Outback then put him into a wrestling move by grappling him and giving him a kidney punch.

"YOU TWO GET OUT OF HERE!" Mr Outback shouted

"But sir!" Coral shouted

"GO!" Mr Outback ordered as he frowned and threw his shield at Brisbane, who got hit in the throat.

"Sir, the only reason we go back is to get backup for you!" Colton shouted

"THEN GO!" Mr Outback bellowed making the two run off while their principal did a jump spinning kick, launching saliva out of Brisbane's mouth. The Lionman growled and swiped at Mr Outback, who blocked with his shield.

"You think you can win this, how long has it been since you've been in a fight?" Brisbane asked

"I'm still a pro!" he shouted knocking him back.

"Oh you're wearing down old man" Brisbane laughed as he ran at the headmaster.

"HELP!" Colton shouted as he and Coral ran up to the gates

"Whoa, what's wrong you two?" a teacher asked

"Mr Franklin" Coral panted

"What's wrong?" Mr Franklin asked

"Mr Jackman is attacking a villain" Colton panted

"Which one?" Mr Franklin asked

"Brisbane, his a man with a mutant quirk that makes him a human lion hybrid" Colton told them

"Sounds like my speciality" Mr Franklin smiled as he grabbed something out of his pocket and opened it "Brisbane you said?" he asked pulling out an AFL jersey of the Adelaide Crows, making a pair of jet black wings pop out "Funny, I was looking for some payback for the Crows loosing. I'll be right back" he said flying away.

"That is so cool" the two students said

"oh by the way, thanks" coral smiled

"For what?" Colton asked

"trying to help with the water" Coral smiled

"Oh it was um nothing" Colton blushed.

"HOLD STILL!" Brisbane shouted as he slashed at Mr Jackman's shield, trying to get through it

"I'll never give up" Mr Outback shouted

"Hey KITTY CAT!" Mr Franklin shouted as he landed and quickly switched to a Port Power Jersey, giving him the ability to shoot lightning at the Lion.

"You!" Brisbane said "Footyman" Brisbane smirked as he ran at him. Thinking quickly Footyman quickly changed into a West Coast Eagle jersey producing golden wings which became two swords, quickly dashing up to Brisbane before switching to a Fremantle Docker Jersey giving him enhanced strength and increased density, swinging at them hope to slice the Kevlar armour Brisbane was wearing.

"Thanks Footyman" Mr Jackman said as he got up and wiped the spit away from his mouth, kick his shield up onto his hand before fling it at Brisbane while Footyman switched to the Carlton Blues making his body take on a blue sheen

"Time's up for you two" Brisbane shouted as he rushed forward, only to run into a hole

"No you don't!" Mr Jakcman said as the ole closed on the two heroes

"What happened?" Footyman asked

"I have no idea" Mr Jackman frowned.

"BRISBANE!" Infernocus shouted

"Hey Boss" Brisbane gulped

"I thought I said that we weren't attacking the Jackman school just yet, so why did you go there and pick a fight with two of the teachers?" he asked grabbing Brisbane's mouth

"I was thinking we could get information of your brother's location" Brisbane said nervously.

"We have a rough estimate of here he currently is, in fact Tidal is planning to head there soon" Tornadus said

"You idiot" Kuro frowned

"I didn't know that" Brisbane said as much as he could.

"So you are to stand down, and never do anything like that again without my permission GOT IT!" Infernocus shouted smoke coming off his hair.

"I understand" Brisbane said rubbing his jaws.

"Now get out of my sight before I do to you what I did to Inciter" Infernocus growled.

"What did he want?" Mr Jackman asked

"Apparently he wanted the location to the last brother, Quaker, but we don't know where he is" Mr Franklin said

"I see" Mr Jackman sighed and check out a bit of paperwork "oh, I forgot about that, I hope they have a good time"

"What is it?" Mr Franklin asked

"Class 1-1 is heading to the Snowy mountains, namely Mr Brumby's family farm" Mr Jackman said

"Oh that will be god for them, I guess" Mr Franklin said

"Indeed" Mr Jackman smiled as he looked through the rest of his paperwork.

The next day Colton went to the pool again, where he once again ran into Coral, he smiled and waved at her, a small blush forming on his face

"Do you want me to leave?" she asked

"Ah no, it's okay I was wondering if we could swim together, you know" he blushed while she just simply laughed

"Sure, so you still afraid of Mutant quirk users?" She asked

"I am, but I think...if I had a friend like you I'd get over it pretty quickly" he smiled

"Okay" Coral said, unaware that Cody and Marley heard them. A small sly smile on her face as she kicked off of the wall and walked away

"I better call Riley and Brittany" Marley said stretching, "I haven't talked to my cousins in a while, so why not now?" she happily asked making Cody sigh.

G'day Guys Grizz here and this is a bit of a breather chapter after the previous four chapters or so, dealing with some school politics and backstory which once again is not a happy one. On top of all that we get to spend a bit of time with Marley who's cousins Riley and Brittany are featured a lot in My Hero Pen-Pal due to Riley being the GF of the MC. I hope you enjoy her character Mrotrax my friend plus a hint at the next chapter which will be the main group heading to one of their homes in the Snow Mountains
