"She's sedated for now" Dr Kidman said as she looked at Riley and Marley, the two comforting each other. "Most of her back is covered in third degree burns, some of them were or rather are quite deep. Thankfully those with healing quirks did step in and help repair some f the damage. Sadly the percentage that she will survive hasn't dropped much. Now its only 88 percent. I'm sorry you two but there is a guarantee of her passing" Dr Kidman said as Riley cried in Marley's arms.
"Ma'am" Marley said quietly "Is there anything else we can do?" Marley asked
"Do what Jet Falcon is doing and pray, pray for one heck of a miracle" Dr Kidman said "And know that not only will the American heroes not let this go, but every Australian heroes are ready to hunt these bastards down" she told them.
"Thank you ma'am" Riley said
"Yeah thank you" Marley said smiling "Come on let's get Isabella and go get some hot chocolate"
"She hates that nickname" Riley sadly smiled.
"I know" Marley said leading her cousin off 'please Brittany. Don't die on us just yet' she frowned.
That night Archie looked left and right
"Okay, okay let's go" he said using his chair's hover mode to move silently
"Okay okay I'm coming" Micah said as they reached Brittany's bedroom. "Dude we are so going to get kicked out for this!" he panicked as he walked into the room and started to disconnect and turn everything off so they wouldn't make a noise to alert the medical staff. "I mean have we tested it yet?"
"Well in a way we have" Archie said as he was looking out as Micah removed the last sensor
"There, oh man" Micah frowned
"How bad?" Archie asked
"Her back is totally barbecued" Micah grimaced
"Geez" Archie grimaced as well
"And what do you mean you've technically tested it?" Micah asked taking the sedative and oxygen tank
"I've tested the solution" Archie said as they moved the bed.
"Okay come on the coast is clear" Lucy said as they got out of the room, Lucy closing the door behind her. "Let's god.
"Come on, we're wasting time. The sooner we get her to Project M the better" Archie urged them.
Soon they got into a large room with a large tube.
"Okay get her on the bed!" Archie ordered
"On it" Lucy said as a bed slid out, which had a mesh grid on the bottom
"Okay now get her dressed" Archie said going over to a computer ad started typing her
"Got it" Lucy said picking up a set of clothes which were short shorts and a bandeau top. She quickly and carefully slipped them on and tapped something on her tablet
"Okay smart fabric is giving us all he vitals, all of which looks good" Lucy nodded
"Great, now let's put the oxygen mask on her and get her in there" Archie said
"Understood" the other two said.
"Okay she's breathing and the oxygen input looks good" Micah said as the bed slid into the tube and it was slid
"Okay standing it up" Archie said making the tub stand on its end and get locked into a special
"Okay everything ;oaks good" Lucy said as the tube displayed all the information of Brittany
"Flooding the tube with the solution in 3...2...1" Archie counted down before he pressed enter as a see through liquid with the viscosity of olive
"Nanite fluid has filled the tube, starting electric induction" Lucy said flipping a switch making the fluid slowly pulse with a pale yellow light. Once the machine started the trio went over to it and looked at the data. "Incredible, look the very outer edges have started to heal already" Lucy gasped
"Incredible" Micah said "Dude, I know I'm being cockily here and counting my chickens before it hatches but I think your project M is a success!" he smiled excitedly
"Thank goodness" Archie sighed as he high fived the other two.
The next morning Riley trudged into the area, especially where Brittany's room was; all o the Kirby girls were encouraging and trying to cheer her up, the same with Isabella. Marley had to go back to her dorm. She reached the room and opened the door only to see an empty bed.
"No" Riley said rushing over, "no, no, no, no!" she panicked before she crashed to her knees "BRITTANY!" she wailed
"Oh hey sis" Brittany said walking out of the bathroom with a towel around her blond hair while wearing her school uniform.
"Brittany...YOU'RE OKAY!" she cheered launching at her, gripping her in a bear hug
"okay okay little sis enough with the water works okay?" she comforted her little sister
"But what happened, why are you okay?" Riley asked
"I have no clues, check this out" Brittany laughed revealing her back Riley shocked ran her fingers down it
"There's not even a mark" Riley looked amazed
"Nope, band whatever it was, even removed the damaged done when we were kids" Brittany smiled.
"HOW, WHAT!" Riley asked
"I don't know and quite frankly I don't care" Brittany said
"Well I do" Jet Falcon said as he walked in, a look of amazement and shock on his face, quickly pulling his eldest daughter into a tight hug "My little firebug is alive" he said
"Oh daddy" Brittany smiled.
"But I do want to know what happened" he frowned
"Us two" the sisters said.
"I see, thank you for taking them in for now" Principal Flagg the headmaster of Kirby High said
"It's my pleasure, you know that it is always a pleasure for our schools to interact with each other,. Despite the circumstance, have you heard from the students that you have sent to the other international hero schools?"
"Yes all of them have arrived safely, may I ask about the status of Miss Airheart?" Flagg asked
"She's stable, in fact believe it or not she fully recovered, whether that is from her quirk or not we're still investigating it" Mr Jackman said
"Well then please let me know when you do" the headmaster said before a knock sounded on the door
"Come in" Mr Jackman said
"Hello sir" Archie smiled as he wheeled himself into the office of his principal, he looked surprised to see the headmaster of Kirby High on the vidcom "Oh, I can come back if"
"No, no its okay Archie, I know you don't knock on my door without a good reason young man" Mr Jackman said
"Okay the, I'm the one behind Brittany Airheart's recovery" Archie admitted
"You, but how?" Principal Flagg asked
"Something I had been developing for a personal reason. Me and my friends called it Project M" Archie told them
"Please continue" Mr Jackman said seriously
"It doesn't have a proper name yet" Archie told them as he displayed the machine in a holographic form. "But what essentially it is a machine that uses electrically inducted nanites held in a viscous fluid to stimulate the body's natural healing. I had tested the Nanite fluid myself on various cuts I inflicted to myself. While it would usually take the body days or weeks to heal; from the, the deepest cut I managed to make was healed in two hours while placing my arm in a small amount of fluid" Archie told them before showing the technically data from Brittany's session. "As you can see she went from a 90% mortality rate down to 80 in three hours, then 50 after five. This morning she was fully healed." Archie told them
"Remarkable" Principal Flagg exclaimed
"Archibald Townsville; you, you, you" Mr Jackman said as he was suddenly speechless
"I apologise" Archie said turning to Principal Flagg
"Oh?" Principal Flagg asked "What for?"
"I used an untested device on your student" Archie admitted
"Young man, what you did, it nothing short of a miracle, you have made an incredible healing device. One that will be of immense help endure the fight with the Disasters," Flagg told him
"Indeed, what you have done, is amazing, while I'm not exactly enthused about you using an untested device of someone who was about to die, but because of your device that person will continue to live a long and happy life among her loved ones." Mr Jackman said "That being said I will have some of our staff overlook the device for anything you may have over looked, which I doubt given its you" he admitted
"Yes sir" Archie nodded.
"Ow! Sis I feel fine" Brittany growled, as she was getting poked by the medical team
"I'll be the judge of that" Mr Grin said sternly frowning at his daughter was being examined by Dr Kidman, Mary and Annie, all the three were overlooking her.
"Brittany dear just because you were healed, doesn't mean that you are at 100%" Isabella said
"I agree sis" Riley said
"I see, interesting, don't you agree Dr Kidman?" Mary asked
"I do, it looks like the nanite fluid stimulates the body's healing cycle when it has electricity channelled through it" she frowned
"It left me feeling slimy" Britanny admitted
"Oh I love the feeling of some slime on me, especially if it's a beauty treatment" Annie smiled
"What kind of treatments are you getting?" Mary asked doing a double take
"Oh Shelly, she can change the acidity in her slime form to melt away dead skin cells, it makes you feel all tingly and giggly" Annie said
"I'll have to try it sometime" Mary mused.
"Mr Grin sir" Lucy said as she and Micah in
"I take it you are two of the trip who healed my daughter?" Jet Falcon asked
"Yes sir" they nodded
"I thank you two. Last night I was praying that the lord didn't take my daughter from us, and today I walked into the chapel again and then I thanked him for giving us more time with her, and that he made you three" he smiled
"Are you religious?" Lucy asked
"Not particularly, but it felt...right this time" Jet Falcon smiled.
"Incredible" Mr Lang said
"How did he even come up with this?" Mr Franklin asked
"I don't know, but he is talented, I heard several support item manufacturers has already been headhunting them. But Archie has knocked them back. I feel sometimes being at this school is holding him back" Mr Lang said
"I don't think so. Imagine if he wasn't here then he wouldn't have made this, which in turn
"I agree with them" Crimson said as she walked in.
"Thanks you guys" Mr Lang said
"So this is Project M?" Dr Kidman walked in "Incredible"
"We were just talking about it" Crimson said
"Now I'm even more thankful that boy attends here; imagine if he used his genius and gifts for evil?" she asked
"NO THANK YOU!" they all exclaimed.
"Trask comes to mind" Mr Lang scowled, still bitter that she was able to get past him, since he loathes anything to do with the Trask family
"Easy Lucas" Dr Kidman said
"I know Natalie; can you imagine if we can give this to a support company, they could mass produce this and we could put one in every major hero school" Mr Lang nodded.
"We'll think of a name for it before he help them patent it "Dr Kidman said.
"Man, that guy is smart, I'm surprised that our school isn't trying to recruit him" Bobby said as he and Zack were walking outside
"Indeed, and hey I'm sorry to hear about your school." Zack said
"No biggie man, just a bunch of building we can rebuild. May take a bit but it will be good as new again" Bobby smiled
"Hope so" Zack said
"Those two guys, they just appeared out of thin air, the same way Spot does" Bobby snarled.
"I know, we've been dealing with them; well the heroes have, we've been doing nothing but sitting here and just waiting for them to come to Jackman, but they struck at Kirby first, and if I'm a betting man, then the next target will be UA" Zack frowned
"Yeah, we sent our third years to UA to back them up since they've seen the action first han" Bobby said
"We're not sure how they got out; at least there's only three of them to worry about. The Fourth has retired" Zack told them
"Oh good" Bobby frowned "But for now we have to make sure we're ready for anything" Bobby said
"Oh man, my back hasn't felt this good in ages" Brittany stretched
"Please take it careful" Riley said
"I agree" Isabella smiled
"Hey guys" Micah waved as he and Lucy walked over to them,. Isabella saw Micah and hugged him.
"Graicias, Gracias, Gracias" she tearred up
"No worries" Micah smiled
"So you did have a hand in the machine?"
"Yeah we did" Lucy answered. "But we never thought that your girlfriend would be the first person to use the chamber" Lucy sighed
"Who was?" Brittany asked worried.
"Archie, he was going to use it to originally fix his legs so he can walk again" Micah revealed shocking the trio
"Yeah we know we were shocked too when we heard what he wanted to do, in fact we tried to talk him out of it; but he so sure it would work, but when he saw you he decided that you would be the first patient. He could wait longer to use it especially given the results" Lucy said
"That idiot" Riley sighed
"I'm sorry" Brittany said.
"Don't, I gave up looking for any pity a long time ago" Archie rolled up to them. "Plus if I had to do it again, I would"
"Thank you Archie" Brittany hugged him.
"No worries" Archie said
"I think you should come to Kirby" Riley excitedly said
"No thanks, to awkward to travel with this thing" Archie smiled.
"I'm betting the trio is going to be laughing at us" Brittany growled.
"DAMN!" Infernocus said
"What is it?" Tidal asked
"They scattered the students to the other schools. One's we're not ready to hit" Infernocus said
"So why did we hit Kirby anyway?" Tornadus asked
"Simple, it's the school where Col. Cash sent his son, and it's on his turf; what better way to show the world who we are them by attacking it. Sure we're working with his granddaughter and Creepy McHandjob" Infernocus joked
"But we need to show we're just as threatening" Tonradus said
"I'm curious" Puppetress said walking in with a glass of wine "Why not attack Jackman Heroic Foundation, or whatever the school is?" she asked
"Simple, they are students there that can counter us," Tidal said "We don't know why but this year the first years are major hitters. And one of them can absorb and redirect fire, you have the son of the Number 3 pro hero who can use wind and lightning, a girl who can turn her body into quartz, a speedster"
"But also the teachers there, including Mr Outback" Dragonatrix said
"Wait, it can't be" Belcher said
"What?" Dragonatrix glared
"Oh yes it is my friends, Little miss Dragonatrix here is a daddy's girl to Mr Outback Darcia Jackman" Mr Toon called out
"But how, he doesn't have any feature of a dragon!" Puppetress said
"I get my quirk factor from my mother" Dragonatrix sneered
"Which is?" Puppetress asked
"Say it and you're roasted meat!" she growled cracking an electric whip.
"Don't know, all it was said that she is Mr Outback's daughter" he laughed.
"Grr" Dragonatrix said as Spot popped his head up
"Oh hello, what do you have to report?" Puppetress asked "Are they wailing in anguish over the lost of that hero?" she laughed "Oh I can see that quirkless fool just punching the ground while crying" she laughed.
"Actually" Spot winced making the villains gathered look at him "She survived and is fully healed" he revealed making Puppetress twitch in anger
"May we ask how?" Tidal asked
"One of the students in the support division created a healing machine" Spot told them
"What?" the villains shouted.
"Archie Townsville" a voice said making them all look up and seeing that there chained up by The Guild was Katalina Trask
"Any relation to Victor Townsville?" Infernocus asked
"He's the grandson of Victor" Katalina smirked wildly
"So the old bastard is still being tricky is he?" Infernocus asked before laughing "I now know who to get payback on for those prisons" he snarled making his brother and sister looked shocked.
"OW!" Henry shouted as Mary looked at his leg
"Well, I'm surprised you just got off with a broken leg" Mary frowned
"He is lucky" Terrance said as he had his arm bandaged by his girlfriend
"Why would they attack Kirby?" Isabella asked
"I'm not sure" Mel said
"I think I might know" Micah said as he walked in "He attacked it because of Col Cash; they wanted to stick it to him"
"So they did it just to stick it to the American Villain?" Henry asked
"Seriously, there are other ways of doing that" Henry said as he flinched while Mary had finished with his leg
"There you go" she smiled
"Thanks" Henry said as he went to walk on it
"OH NO!" she shoved him back to bed "You are staying off that leg"
"Yes nurse" Henry groaned
"Good boy" Annie smiled
"Damn she's tough, I hate to meet her and Annie together" Terrance said
"Yeah, but you got me" Mel said
"So what's the next move?" Angie asked
"Simple, we team up, train together and make sure we're string enough to take down this bastards" Zack shouted
"YEAH!" they all shouted. Standing outside was Mr Jackman and Michelle Star
"They seem motivated" Jackman smiled
"Of course they are," Michelle said
"So what should we do?" Mr Jackman asked
"Don't worry Michelle, I know how you feel for Bobby. And unlike you your award is nearby; unlike my daughter as I have not seen her in ages" Jackman sighed
"I'm sorry to hear that" Michelle said
"Thank you, but for now we should talk to the rest of the schools and put that plan of the UN into Action.
"I also think we need one more hero" Starr said
"Oh who do you think?" Jackman asked
Meanwhile halfway around the world, on a throne with a big cat motif, sat a figure in black armour
"My king" one of the guard said as she walked up and bowed.
"What is it?" the king asked
"An urgent call from the Australian school your son is attending, it looked like one of the major hero schools was attacked and there is a possibility of there being more attack"
"And I take it I have been asked to help?" he asked
"Indeed my king" The guard said
"Very well, Let these villains know of the might of the Black Panther" he said standing up and flicking out his claws 'K'Wame please be safe'
"I haven't seen that look in awhile" a voice said making the king turn to the owner of it
"And I haven't see you in awhile. I take it that you are done?"
"I sure am you're highness" he bowed. "Time to save the world" he smiled.
"Indeed"
G'day Guys Grizz here, and SHE'S ALIVE! oh come on like I was going to kill her off, for starters she's not my character she belong to Mrotrax and I am not going to do that to him, besides this chapter was in a way one of the first things I thought about when planning the sequel along with the stuff with the disasters. So thank goodness Archie is a good guy especially since this will help them out in the upcoming battles, who will have Black Panther, the mystery hero and what ever international heroes joining in the fight against these guy, but I'm going to reveal that hero at a later date.
