But without further ado, I present the latest chapter in the Uchiha Resentment. ENJOY THE READ!

A/N: So, I've finally fully written this story. I've also finished chapter 11, just working out any kinks. Started chapter 12 as well. The post credit scene will show a journey of an Uchiha. Enjoy the read.

Arc 2: Taki/Iwa Peace Treaty Arc

Chapter X: Trying to Make Amends; Juicy Love Triangle!

Age: 64

Roshi allowed the two to argue. He knew that Keiko was briefly friends with the granddaughter of Onoki. It was amusing actually.

"Naruto is different! He's kind, sweet, charming, and a serious Shinobi!" Kurotsuchi yelled out to her old friend.

Keiko was getting annoyed with Kurotsuchi. "I don't care if he's the boy of your dreams! I have to kill all the remaining Uchiha!" She stated again.

"Is that so?" Another voice stated. Everyone turned to see the face of the heir of the Uchiha clan, Sasuke Uchiha. "What is your issue with the entirety of the Uchiha clan and not just Itachi?" He asked.

Kurotsuchi was wondering how much Sasuke had heard before he spoke up. Would he tell Naruto how she felt?

Keiko growled at the boy. She hated him more than Naruto Uchiha, because this boy was the brother of Itachi. "Your clan disregarded my ancestors! All for what? Itachi to slaughter my family anyways? The last of my clan!" She stated.

The raven haired Uchiha looked at the floor. He thought for a moment before asking a question. "Did he kill your family in front of your eyes as well?"

Keiko's eyes widened. He killed his own parents in front of his own little brother!? She thought to herself. "Yes, yes he did. I was Ten Years Old at the time." She answered.

Sasuke understood this girl completely. He knew why she desired the end of the Uchiha. There was one thing he didn't get however. It was when she mentioned her ancestors. "What did you mean by my clan disregarding your ancestors?" Sasuke asked the girl.

Kurotsuchi was curious in the matter as well. Roshi already knew about the girl's history. Keiko was surprised that Sasuke didn't know. "You... you don't know?" Keiko sincerely asked.

Sasuke shook his head, "no, but I am willing to learn more history of my clan, even if it's darker than what I've been led to believe." He added. She decided to indulge him.

"Well, it started during the warring states period..."

With Kakashi

After telling Naruto off he felt bad. Dammit. What jutsu did Naruto use? That much damage to the surrounding area would likely be from a forbidden jutsu. Kakashi thought to himself.

He was sitting on a bench alone. The dry air of Iwagakure filled Kakashi's covered nose. There was no one around as they were in fear of what happened yesterday.

He reminds me so much of myself when I was younger. Yet, he is still different. Kakashi thought. What should I do Sensei? he questioned in his head. He stop thinking once another person took a seat next to him. He looked over and seen an old man.

"Hello young man." He greeted. The old man had the scent of old musk. Kakashi gave the man an eye smile. The old man had a blank expression. "You seem troubled." He stated.

Kakashi scratched the back of his head, "yeah, I'm dealing with an issue on my team." Kakashi vaguely answered.

The old man thought for a moment. Kakashi wondered why he was still here. "The key to everything is patience. You get the chicken by hatching the egg, not smashing it." He wisely said before walking off.

Kakashi wondered what the elderly man meant. He thought about his current situation. He absorbed the sun light hitting his face. He looked up at the sun. "Sensei, what should I do? Do I punish him or do I allow him to get away with it?" Kakashi speaks aloud.

Kakashi noticed out the side of his eye that one of his pupils, Mito Uzumaki, approaching him. He was sure this had to deal with Naruto. She looked upset.

"Sensei," Mito's voice was tinged with both anger and sadness, "Naruto's suspension is unjust. He was only defending himself and this village. Punishing him for that seems wrong."

Kakashi, his gaze thoughtful, replied, "Mito, I understand your frustration, but Naruto's actions caused significant damage. He needs to realize the weight of his decisions, for they not only affect him, but they affect politics as well."

Frustration surged within her. "But isn't protecting our home and comrades the essence of being a ninja? Naruto was only doing what any of us would have done, and then some for a foreign nation that doesn't even like us. He shouldn't be punished for that."

Kakashi sighed, recognizing the depth of Mito's concern. "I know you care for him deeply, but this suspension is also an opportunity for him to understand the repercussions of his impulsive actions. He needs to learn control and responsibility. There is also a second reason why I'm punishing him, one that I'm not allowed to share with you due to its nature. If Iwagakure really knew some things, we would be captured, tortured, and killed."

Mito's eyes glinted with determination. "But keeping him away from his duties won't teach him anything! Iwagakure have been kind host as well! Not everything is like it used to be. He needs guidance, not isolation."

Kakashi nodded, acknowledging Mito's perspective. "You're right, Mito. But he needs to learn that there are consequences to his actions. We'll find a way to help him, but he also needs to realize the impact of his choices."

Mito's expression softened slightly, realizing the complexity of the situation. "I just don't want him to lose his way, sensei. He needs our support now more than ever." Kakashi nodded. This was what he had wanted for his team. To look out for each other.

With Sasuke

Sasuke took in the story Keiko explained. He was at a loss of words due to her heritage. Keiko, her eyes reflecting a storm of emotions, stood by the window, her gaze distant yet sharp.

"You speak of strategy, but what do you know of the pain that Itachi has inflicted upon my family? How can you understand the thirst for retribution that consumes me?" Keiko's voice was sharp, laced with bitterness. She answered Sasuke's question about teaming up.

Sasuke, his own pain seeping into his words, responded, "I may not know the full extent of your pain entirely, but I know the burden of seeking vengeance. It only brings more suffering. Together, we can find a way to bring justice without losing ourselves to hatred." He had told her what Akane had told him when he was little.

Keiko's single Sharingan eye blazed with intensity. "You may have suffered, but you are still an Uchiha. I want nothing to do with you or your plans. My goal is to see every Uchiha pay for the atrocities they've committed, including Itachi."

Sasuke's eyes darkened with remembered pain as he nodded, "I understand. I won't force you into anything, Keiko. But know that the path of revenge is a treacherous one. It may lead to your own destruction."

Roshi thought these words were wise, coming from a genin at least. He had also tried to tell Keiko that going after the remaining Uchiha was a mistake.

Kurotsuchi watched the exchange of words in awe. Sasuke spoke as if he was clan head already. He could be a good kage one day. She thought.

Keiko sat on her bed motionless. Sasuke made valid points. Itachi is indeed stronger than anyone she knows right now. Sasuke, Naruto, and Naruto's mother did nothing to her clan. She also knew that trying by herself would take a few more years before she could kill Itachi. She glared at the Uchiha boy. I hate him more now! She thought.

"I'll let you think about that for a while. If you want to work together, tell her," Sasuke said as he pointed at the granddaughter of Onoki. "She will tell Naruto." He added. Kurotsuchi blushed as Sasuke was right. Sasuke walked out the hospital room and went to look for his team.

With Naruto

Naruto laid on his hospital bed. He thought back to what had Kakashi Hatake had told him. "I will be recommending your suspension upon our return to the village. Furthermore, you will not be participating in the rest of this mission." Naruto understood why, but to suspended him would rob him the opportunity to compete in the Chunin Exams. He had to prove himself to Kakashi now, or else his teammates would have to go it without him in the Chunin Exams.

Naruto's mind was drifting until he heard a presence in the room. Startled, he looked up and saw the figure of the Blue Devil Shinobi. As he tried to rise, he found himself ensnared in a powerful Genjutsu, halting his movement.

"Let's take it slow," the masked Shinobi urged. Naruto's surroundings had transformed, and he gazed around, bewildered. "Where are we?" he inquired, trying to grasp the situation.

"We are in my Genjutsu world, Tsukuyomi," the Blue Devil revealed. Naruto's eyes widened at the realization. "But that's..." he began, but was interrupted. "Itachi Uchiha's special Genjutsu. I know, I possess such an ability as well," the Blue Devil confirmed.

Naruto absorbed the information, he soon thought to himself, this man is an Uchiha. There's no doubt about it. His gaze fixated on the mask, hoping to catch a glimpse of glowing red eyes.

"I'm here to tell you that girl Keiko is working for some people who want to kill Mito Uzumaki and Fu," the Blue Devil disclosed.

"Kill Mito?" Naruto stammered in disbelief.

"Yes, I noticed you dispatched of her easily with a forbidden Jutsu. Don't use that jutsu anymore, it'll take a toll on you," the Blue Devil cautioned.

Naruto glared at the masked man. "And why should I trust what you say?" he challenged.

The masked man pondered for a moment, "hmm..." before continuing, "I have my own agenda that revolves around you. Surely you've noticed that during our first confrontation, I went easy on you," he taunted. Naruto's glare intensified. "Beware, the red clouds are coming soon, a ghost will haunt, and the Sage's chakra is reborn," the Blue Devil cryptically warned as the Tsukuyomi dissolved.

Naruto scanned the hospital room, realizing the Blue Devil had vanished. The riddle echoed in his mind, leaving him with a sense of foreboding.

Who is the Blue Devil Shinobi? Naruto thought to himself. And what does he mean by Sage's chakra is reborn? Naruto pondered.

He heard a knock at his door. He looked over and met eyes with Kurotsuchi. She waved and gave him a smile, "hey!" she exclaimed.

Naruto waved back, "you didn't get hurt did you?" He questioned. Kurotsuchi shook her head no. The hospitalized Uchiha was happy that she didn't get caught in the crosshairs of his jutsu.

"How are you feeling?" She asked the raven haired boy. Naruto thought for a second, "I've been better." They both laughed at this. Kurotsuchi stopped laughing first, "so Naruto, that jutsu you used, what is it?" She inquired.

Naruto took a deep breath in. "Well, it's a forbidden technique of the Uchiha. It's derived from the Dark Style. I need to be able to connect with nature in order to use the full might of it. Right now I'm using an intermediate version of it with my fire style and lightning style to produce it." The Uchiha explained.

Kurotsuchi took this in. Connect with nature? She thought to herself. "Wait, lightning and fire release? I thought you said you had wind and fire?" She quickly asked.

Naruto shook his head, "I can use all five affinities. I just use wind and fire the most." He further explained. She was taken aback by that statement. No one can have all five affinities. Can they? I remember grandfather saying having more than two is rare. Kurotsuchi thought to herself.

"...Kurotsuchi." Naruto repeated, breaking the raven haired girl out of her thoughts. "Hm?" She looked at Naruto's blue eyes. "What affinity do you have?" He asked. "Earth." was her response.

"That's pretty neat! I don't know many Earth Style Jutsu." Naruto commented. Kurotsuchi crossed her arms, "And you're not going to steal them from me!" She retorted. They both laughed.

Their laughter was interrupted by some fake coughing. They both turn to see Mito Uzumaki. "Naruto, are you feeling better yet? Maybe we can get you released from this hospital." Mito pestered.

"Hmm, I want to leave this hospital room. I want to get back to training immediately." Naruto stated. Both girls sighed at the boy's enthusiasm to train. "We can try and get ramen again." Mito spoke up to her friend.

The blue eyed Uchiha thought for a moment. "Yeah that wouldn't be too bad. Hey, Kurotsuchi can you show us where that ramen stand is again? I'll pay for yours if you do." Naruto offered. Kurotsuchi blushed for a moment, "I'd like too." She answered.

Mito was beyond jealous. Dammit Naruto! Why must you invite her?! She yelled inside her mind. That yell being loud enough that it awakened something inside Mito Uzumaki. Her pupils in her golden honey eyes changed to slits. No one noticed the sudden changed in her pupils.

"Yeah, that's a great idea Naruto, but I remembered that Kakashi wanted to see you in private when you are released from the hospital." Mito stated. She was about to speak again when she was interrupted by her other Uchiha teammate.

"Oi, Naruto, Mito, have you seen Sakura around? Also here is your release forms Naruto." Sasuke spoke as he threw the paperwork towards Naruto. Naruto quickly started to fill it out. Mito turned to answer Sasuke. "Sakura is back at the hotel." Mito bluntly stated. Sasuke nodded and walked out.

Naruto finished filling out the paperwork. "I'll take these to the doctors quickly Naruto." Kurotsuchi said as she grabbed the paperwork and darted out the room.

Naruto looked at Mito, something's off about her. He thought. "So, how's the hotel Mito?" Naruto asked his longtime friend. "It's alright, would be better if I knew you were okay the entire time by being there." Mito pouted. Naruto smiled, he loved when she started pouting. It was adorable to him.

"Well, I'll be there now so there's nothing to worry about!" The Uchiha said with a bright smile. Naruto held back the fact that their adversary had visited him to keep her from worrying.

Mito's expression softened, and she gave him a small smile, though her eyes still held a hint of worry. "Of course, Naruto. You're my best friend," she replied, her voice tinged with warmth.

With the paperwork taken care of, Naruto was soon released from the hospital. He met up with Kurotsuchi and Mito outside, ready to head to the ramen stand. As they walked through Iwagakure, Naruto couldn't help but feel a sense of peace.

Despite the recent battles and the looming threat of their enemy, he was surrounded by friends who cared for him deeply. Reaching the ramen stand, Naruto treated his friends to a hearty meal, the warm broth and noodles filling them with contentment. As they chatted and laughed, Naruto felt a deep sense of gratitude for these moments of camaraderie, yet he didn't sense the emotions of love blossoming between he and the two girls.

With Sasuke

Sasuke arrived at the hotel to see Sakura reading a book on Iwa. He had always respected the kunoichi's desire to know as much as possible. Something he wanted to know was whether or not Keiko's side branch of the Uchiha Clan was mentioned in that book.

Sasuke approached Sakura quietly, not wanting to startle her. She looked up from her book and smiled when she saw him. "Hey, Sasuke. How was Naruto? Is he okay?" she asked, closing the book and setting it aside.

"He's doing better," Sasuke replied, taking a seat next to her. "He's out of the hospital now and already causing trouble, as usual."

Sakura chuckled. "That's good to hear. Knowing Naruto, he'll be back to his old self in no time."

Sasuke nodded, then hesitated before asking, "Sakura, I was wondering... Have you come across any information about Keiko's family in your research?"

Sakura furrowed her brow, thinking back to the various texts she had read. "I don't recall anything specific about Keiko's clan, but I can look into it further if you'd like. Why do you ask?" Sasuke hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. "It's... personal," he finally said.

"I'll see what I can find. It might take some time, but I'll let you know if I come across anything."

"Thank you, Sakura. I appreciate it," Sasuke said sincerely, grateful for her willingness to help.

As Sakura returned to her book, Sasuke's thoughts drifted to Keiko and her mysterious past. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to her story than what she told him. He knew that there had to be more to her story.

With Keiko

Everyone had left Keiko be alone. It was moments like this that she felt most alone. She was curious on Sasuke Uchiha. The boy intrigued her. He was unlike the murderer of her family. However, on the same side of that coin was Naruto Uchiha. He used a jutsu she had never heard of or seen. She seen the look in his Sharingan. They were the exact same as that murderer.

"Finally alone?" The voice broke Keiko from her thoughts and looked up in horror. Before her was the Blue Devil Shinobi. "Keiko, did you really think those two zombies would stop me?" The Blue Devil Question upon seeing her shocked face.

"I-I" Keiko was immediately cut off. "I don't need to hear anything from your mouth. I'm here to give you a warning. Naruto Uchiha is hiding more power." He stated. Keiko was baffled. She was injured and yet Naruto still possessed more power and didn't use it. She felt insulted and disrespected by the young Uchiha.

"That mediocre Sharingan you are using won't be of much help to you against Naruto once his eyes evolve into the Mangekyou Sharingan." He warns the girl. The girl was curious as to why he was telling her this. "Don't interrupt." He speaks as she was about to do the opposite of what he just said.

"Naruto is proving to be in a category of his own. It would be wise to study him. He could be the key to your very own goals," the Blue Devil Shinobi stated.

Keiko nodded. She knew that the Uchiha cousins could very well help her achieve killing Itachi. "The man in the orange mask is no one's ally. He may act as such, but this man is deluded by his goals and will do whatever it takes to achieve said goals," The Blue Devil warns. He takes his leave allowing Keiko to think about what he said.

After he vanished, the leader of Iwagakure, the Tsuchikage entered. Keiko glared at the man. He returned a fierce glare of his own. "Why did you attack the Uchiha boy?" he asked the girl.

She started to get annoyed quickly. "You already know that Itachi Uchiha killed my parents. That boy is an accomplice," she answered defiantly.

The Tsuchikage frowned, "while I understand the importance of family, loss, and love, you had no right to attack one of KONOHAGAKURE'S Shinobi in my village. Especially one of the status of the last two loyal Uchiha of Konoha!" Onoki lectured.

She glared hard at the man. "You don't know it yet! Naruto Uchiha has the same eyes as Itachi Uchiha!" She yelled.

Onoki considered That possibility. He knew for a fact about The Mangekyou Sharingan from Madara Uchiha from his Genin days. Itachi would have to have that to eliminate the Uchiha clan to the single digits. Could Naruto have that dojutsu as well? He thought to himself. "It matters not if he has that power. What matters is how he is here on a protection detail for a peace treaty contract! You make my village look bad!" He yelled.

Roshi entered as he seen the Tsuchikage and Keiko arguing. "Lord Tsuchikage, as I've said before the misunderstanding is my fault. I made the mistake bringing my apprentice here, I made the mistake by losing control, and I made the mistake of allowing Keiko's revenge grow. Mistakes I plan on rectifying if given the chance." The jinchuriki told the leader.

Onoki considered what his jinchuriki had stated. "Very well, and if I allow your proposal, how would you rectify these mistakes?" Onoki asked. Keiko too had been wondering what her friend would say.

"I will help in the construction of the area destroyed, I will enroll in anger management, and Keiko here will spend time with the Uchiha heir. Sasuke will do a great deal of wonder for my apprentice." Roshi answered tactfully.

Keiko was now enraged. Sure she liked Sasuke a bit more than Naruto or Itachi, but he is still an Uchiha. "I may not know the full extent of your pain entirely, but I know the burden of seeking vengeance. It only brings more suffering. Together, we can find a way to bring justice without losing ourselves to hatred." Sasuke's voice rang in her head.

"Hmm, I'll allow this proposal of yours. However, I want daily reports of Keiko's involvement with the Uchiha." Onoki stated. Roshi nodded at the leader and Onoki took his leave.

Keiko looked at her friend with a glare that could kill. Her single sharingan had turned into her Mangekyou. "You know, your eye shares the same anger and hatred as Itachi's as well." Roshi spoke as he walked away.

Keiko was now furious. However, a doctor walked in and handed her a release form. She was now ready to leave the hospital. Sasuke, you will tell me all of Itachi's weaknesses. She thought to herself.

With Naruto

Naruto, Kurotsuchi, and Mito were eating their ramen. Mito had let Kurotsuchi's involvement in the outing ruin her mood. Kurotsuchi and Naruto however were having a fantastic time. Naruto would tell a joke and Kurotsuchi would laugh. Sometimes it was vice versa which really made Mito bitter.

"Say, what's it like being family to the Tsuchikage?" Mito finally spoke.

Kurotsuchi looked to the red head girl. She thought for a moment before answering. "Well, it's not all that it's cracked out to be. You see, everyone treats me nicely, but that's because my grandfather could punish them. I just want to be treated like a regular genin," she answered.

Mito was sour at her answer. She is respected by her village, could have anyone she wants, and will be next in line to rule Iwa, yet she just has to like Naruto! She thinks to herself. "Oh, sounds like the opposite of my scenario." Mito whispered to herself.

"Sounds tough honestly." Naruto replied to Kurotsuchi, much to the anger of Mito. "I was outcasted by my clan, but the village loves me. They probably only treat me right since Sasuke and I are the last remaining loyal Uchiha that are on the ninja force." Naruto explains.

Kurotsuchi listens intently. "Well, I don't care about your background. You're a nice and caring individual," she says with a slight blush. Naruto thanks her for the compliment and the three genin are surprised by Kakashi's appearance.

"Naruto, would you mind coming with me to have a chat in private?" He asked. Naruto nodded and the two left the ramen stand.

"Do you understand why I placed your punishment?" Kakashi asked the young male.

"Somewhat Kakashi-sensei." Naruto answers honestly. Kakashi nodded as he expected this answer.

"You see, when I was a Genin, I too had some troubles. Somewhat different than yours, but I made reckless moves that costed me a lot. When I became a Jonin, I led a mission with my squad. It was on this mission that I messed up and one of my squad mates was captured. I had used a jutsu that was perfected, and lost a lot of chakra doing so." Kakashi spoke.

Naruto listened intensely. He wondered where this was going. "I was going to leave her for dead as the mission was to destroy the Kanabi bridge. If I did so, Iwagakure would be significantly damaged. My other squad mate, Obito Uchiha wanted to safe our teammate. Instead I left to do the mission." Kakashi said.

Naruto was confused as this story doesn't correlate with him. "In the end I decided to help Obito. Because I decided to join late though, I got into a fight with a Iwa Jonin who cut my eye. We eventually made it to where my teammate was and went to rescue her. In the end we were successful, however, chakra exhaustion started to settle in and I didn't see a rock that fell from the top of the cave we were in. Obito sacrificed himself to save me from being killed by that rock. It was then he also gave me his sharingan to protect his crush." Kakashi told him.

Naruto was shocked at this story. "The lesson was to be careful and strategic in a mission. Because I wasn't, so many things went wrong. This is why I believe your punishment is just." Kakashi stated.

Naruto nodded. "I understand now Sensei, however, I would like a chance to prove myself and not be suspend so I may enter the Chunin Exams with my team." Naruto stated.

Kakashi thought for a brief moment, "I will consider it." He answered.

The two walked back to the ramen stand where Mito And Kurotsuchi are.

With Mito (when Naruto left with Kakashi)

The sun was setting over Iwagakure, casting a warm glow over the village. The streets were quiet, the villagers heading home after a long day. Mito Uzumaki and Kurotsuchi sat at a small table outside a ramen stand, their bowls of ramen growing cold as they watched Naruto walk away with Kakashi Hatake.

Mito's heart sank as she watched Naruto's retreating figure, disappointment evident in her eyes. Beside her, Kurotsuchi also watched Naruto go, her expression unreadable, but a flicker of disappointment passing through her eyes.

Unable to contain her frustration any longer, Mito spoke up, her voice laced with anger. "Don't even try to get close to Naruto!"

Kurotsuchi looked up, a smirk playing on her lips. "You're not his mother, Mito. Naruto can be friends with whoever he wants, and if he wants more than friendship, that's his choice."

Mito's anger flared. "Naruto deserves someone who can be with him, not someone from another village like you," she retorted, her voice sharp.

"And that someone should be you?" Kurotsuchi laughed. Kurotsuchi's smirk faded, her gaze hardening as she met Mito's defiant stare. The evening breeze carried the scent of ramen and the promise of a stormy confrontation between the two girls, both vying for Naruto's attention.

The two stopped their fierce stare down once Naruto finally returned. Geez, Naruto you have no idea what is happening, do you? Kakashi Hatake thought as he left his student with the two girls.

"I'm back!" Naruto announced. The two girls looked at their crush and welcomed him back. The rivalry between Kurotsuchi and Mito has officially begun. Only one of them could be the victor.

With Sasuke

Sasuke left the hospital in Iwagakure, disappointed to learn that Keiko had been discharged. He wondered when he would see her again, knowing he needed to make things right with his clansmen, despite her being a branch member. As he walked through the streets of Iwagakure, the evening sun cast long shadows, painting the village in a warm, golden light.

Sakura had been too preoccupied with her studies to accompany him, a fact that both annoyed and pleased Sasuke. He admired Sakura's dedication and knew she would be a strong candidate to restart the Uchiha clan with. If he had to guess, the next generation of Uchiha would be immensely powerful, especially if Naruto and himself were to have offspring as well.

Lost in his thoughts, Sasuke wandered into the bustling market area of Iwagakure. The air was filled with the fragrant aroma of spices and the lively chatter of vendors and customers. As he passed by, he could hear the giggles and whispers of teen girls, their eyes following him as he walked. It annoyed him, reminding him of similar behavior from girls in Konoha.

Ignoring the attention, Sasuke continued through the market, his mind focused on the future of the Uchiha clan and the responsibilities that lay ahead. He knew that rebuilding the clan would not be easy, but with Sakura by his side, he felt confident that they could create a new generation of strong and capable Uchiha.

Sasuke stopped to view the setting sun. It would be nicer to have Keiko in the mix as well. She still has hints of Uchiha blood that would help in the offspring process. He thought to himself.

Continuing his walk, Sasuke's keen senses picked up the familiar voices of Naruto and Mito. He wondered what they were up to—perhaps a date? As he approached, he noticed a raven-haired girl with them. What was her name again? He tried to remember as he walked closer.

As he reached the group, he could sense the tension between the two girls. "Naruto," Sasuke called out to his cousin, breaking the uneasy silence. Naruto and the two females turned to see Sasuke approaching.

"What's up, Sasuke?" Naruto asked casually, while Mito and Kurotsuchi continued eating their ramen.

"Nothing much. What are you up to right now?" Sasuke inquired, glancing between Naruto and the two girls.

Naruto shrugged. "Just hanging out with Mito and Kuro here."

Kurotsuchi blushed a dark red at Naruto's nickname, her reaction not going unnoticed by Sasuke. He couldn't help but wonder what was going on between them.

As Sasuke joined the group, he noticed Mito and Kurotsuchi exchanging glances, their expressions tense. Sensing the underlying tension, Sasuke decided to probe further.

"Is everything alright between you two?" Sasuke asked, directing his question at Mito and Kurotsuchi.

Mito hesitated, casting a quick glance at Sasuke before responding. "We're fine, just a little disagreement," she replied, forcing a smile.

Kurotsuchi remained silent, her eyes downcast as she stirred her ramen noodles. Sensing her discomfort, Sasuke changed the subject.

"So, what were you all up to before I arrived?" Sasuke asked, trying to lighten the mood.

Naruto shrugged. "Just hanging out and grabbing some ramen. Nothing special," he replied with a grin.

Sasuke nodded, taking a seat next to Naruto. "Mind if I join you?"

"Of course not! Pull up a chair," Naruto replied, gesturing to the empty seat beside him.

As Sasuke settled in, the group continued their meal, the tension between Mito and Kurotsuchi slowly dissipating. Sasuke couldn't help but wonder about the dynamics between the two girls and their relationship with Naruto, but for now, he decided to enjoy the peaceful moment with his cousin and friends.

As the group savored the last bites of their ramen, Mito and Kurotsuchi's subtle tension lingered like a storm on the horizon. Mito delicately twirled her chopsticks, her eyes occasionally flicking towards Kurotsuchi, who maintained a facade of nonchalance while stirring her noodles. Naruto, oblivious to the underlying currents, chatted animatedly about the day's events, his laughter a stark contrast to the silent clash between the two girls.

Mito, her voice laced with hidden barbs, remarked with a sweet smile, "Oh, Kurotsuchi, I didn't know you were so adventurous with your choice of ramen toppings. Quite bold, aren't we today?"

Kurotsuchi, catching the underlying critique, countered smoothly, "Well, Mito, some prefer to stick to the basics. Not everyone feels the need to overcompensate with elaborate flavors.

Sasuke, attuned to the undertones, subtly observed the exchange. Noting the veiled insults masked by polite tones, he leaned over to Naruto and whispered, "Naruto, there's more to their conversation than meets the eye. Keep an eye out for the subtleties between Mito and Kurotsuchi."

Naruto, now more alert to the nuances, glanced between Mito and Kurotsuchi, his curiosity piqued by the cryptic banter unfolding before him. The tension between the two girls crackled like a hidden lightning storm, waiting to unleash its fury. And he wondered what it could be about.

They seemed to be friendly earlier. Perhaps something happened. Naruto thought to himself. He decided to observe the two girls and see what would happen.

Unbeknownst to them, The Blue Mask Devil lurked in the shadows. He awaited for the opportunity he knew would appear. "Naruto, eventually everything will fall into place for you." He spoke aloud.

Well for all of you who thought the Blue Devil was Shisui, you're clearly wrong here. 1 of his M.S. abilities was revealed to be Tsukuyomi. As I mentioned before, only one person has gotten the identity correct, and even then I didn't spill the beans. It's a twist for certain.

A lot of you DM'd me about Keiko retrieving the Sharingan eye from Madara's rotting corpse. I realize that the eye would most likely be rotted away, but I need her to have a sharingan eye with asspulling her genetics, and owing a debt to Madara Uchiha would be a nice way to tie her in the story later on. Trust the process.

Thank you for all the reviews, likes, and favorites yall have given both of my stories.

Anyways sorry for the massive delay. Military shit kept me busy for a whole month. Though, seeing the Asian culture was nice.

Post Credit Scene

Somewhere, Some Time later

As the moon loomed ominously overhead, its red glow casting an eerie light, the battered Uchiha, his resolve unbroken, faced off against his taunting adversary. "You underestimate me," he retorted, his voice strained yet defiant. "I will not let you succeed!"

With a swift motion, he summoned his Susanoo, a majestic and imposing figure that shielded him from the malevolent gaze of the red moon, protecting him from its insidious influence. But his teammates were not as fortunate; they were ensnared by the moon's power, their forms slowly transforming into grotesque branches of the Tree of Life.

Gritting his teeth, the Uchiha knew he had to act fast. He hurled a smoke bomb to the ground, using the cover to make his escape. As the smoke cleared, his adversary realized the Uchiha was nowhere to be seen, a fact that both frustrated and intrigued him. "He may have eluded me for now, but he cannot escape his fate," he muttered to himself, his eyes scanning the area for any sign of movement.

Unbeknownst to the taunter, the Uchiha had one last trick up his sleeve. With a practiced hand, he unfurled a scroll, channeling his chakra into it with intense focus. The cost of this technique was steep; he knew he would lose something precious to him. With a blinding flash of light, the Uchiha vanished from sight, leaving behind only a lingering sense of mystery and the echo of his determination.

Confusion clouded the taunter's mind as he approached the now-empty spot. "Where did he go?" he muttered, searching for any clue as to the Uchiha's whereabouts. But there was nothing, no trace of him left behind. "He's vanished without a trace," the taunter realized, a sense of unease creeping over him. "But I will find him. No one can escape their destiny." Or so he thought.
