The silence on the roof was almost deafening. After a minute, Sona then asked the ghostly Spirit, "So does that mean the real Overlord Zenon is somewhere else?"
"Indeed, but I don't know where the real Overlord Zenon went. In any case, you might be wondering what I am. I will answer right now that I am a Demon, not a Devil like you two. And there are numerous Netherworlds out there in the cosmos where Demons such as myself come from." the Spirit answered.
"What exactly is the difference between Devils and Demons aside from where they originate?" Rias asked skeptically.
"There are many different demon races while Devils such as you are but one race when only factoring in blood. The Evil Pieces that you carry on yourself have resulted in Reincarnated Devils becoming a thing."
"Well, that is certainly enlightening." Sona remarked.
"I have this feeling that a lot more demons will be coming to this world soon, and not all of them will be friendly like you seem to be." Rias stated.
"You guess correctly. Some of them will be very strong, and some will be weak enough that even a regular human could fight against one and win." the Spirit replied.
Meanwhile with Issei, he was at a park with a water fountain and crouched down next to it. "Oh man, what the hell was that woman!? She can't be human..." Issei muttered to himself before a screen lined with gold appeared in front of him. He made contact with the screen using his right hand and then it displayed this:

"Did I just find myself in a video game universe or has one simply fused with ours?" Issei asked himself as he dismissed the screen.
As if the universe were mocking him, Katase and Murayama arrived and came up to him. "Hyoudou, what are you doing here!?" they both exclaimed.
Issei sighed before stating, "Either we're losing our sanity or a video game universe decided to fuse with ours."
A screen then appeared in front of Katase that displayed this:

After dismissing the screens, Katase shook her head sideways while Murayama said, "I really wish that it were the former, Hyoudou."
"I'm actually amazed that you're staying calm about this, Hyoudou. This seems like a lot to take in." Katase added.
"Panicking won't make things any easier on us. I vaguely remember playing something called Disgaea: Hour of Darkness before first entering Kuoh Academy as a first-year student, so a lot of this seems pretty familiar to me." Issei stated.
Immediately after saying that, a small portal opened up and spat out a trio of creatures that had yellow heads and abdomens, red eyes purple antennae, purple wings with yellow spots and a darker purple striped pattern on them, purple "legs" with dark purple stripes, red claws, and white fluff on their bodies. One of the creatures saw them and then said, "Well, look what we got here. Some weak humans. Time to kick some ass!"
"Yeah, we're gonna fuck your shit up!" one of the other creatures added.
"Yay, time to fuck up some weak trash humans." the third of the creatures stated.
"Somehow, I think we're gonna have to fight here." Murayama deadpanned as she saw the portal spit out a pair of Lazy Swords along with a Worn Glove and grabbed one of them before equipping it.
"Yeah, that is to be expected when Demons run into someone or something that they don't know about. Heck, it even happens when they run into something or someone that they do know about as well." Issei stated as he grabbed the Worn Glove and equipped it.
"Sheesh, do all Demons love to fight?" Katase asked as she picked up and equipped the other Lazy Sword.
"Not all of them do, but most do." Issei answered.
"Indeed, and now it's time for us to fuck your shit up, puny humans!" One of the creatures shouted as it rushed at Katase, who swung wildly with her sword and hit its back through sheer dumb luck, killing it. The other two creatures rushed to Issei, who punched one of them in the face before dodging a sonic screech from the other one. Issei threw another punch at the creature that he hit previously and killed it before being hit by a sonic screech from the remaining one.
"What the flying fuck!? How the fuck are we losing!? Wait a minute... You there, the boy with the spiky hair..." the creature wondered before calling out to Issei.
"Huh, are you talking to me?" Issei asked.
"Who else has spiky hair here, dipshit!? Of fucking course I'm talking to you! You've obviously got something that screams 'Main Character' while me and my deceased friends are just a bunch of mooks!"
The creature then let out another sonic screech that Issei was merely grazed by, but it was enough to drop him to 1 HP. Issei then thought, 'Dammit, this is not going well! If this were a shonen anime, I would get some sort of power up and use it to win!' before Issei's left arm shot out and a bright red light shined from it that engulfed it entirely for a few seconds, prompting Issei, Katase, and Murayama to cover their eyes while the creature merely closed its eyes tight. When the light died down, Issei's left arm was mostly covered by a red draconic-looking gauntlet.
"BOOST!" a proud draconic voice shouted from Issei's gauntlet-covered arm. Issei then ran forward and punched the final creature once, killing it with one hit. Two words then appeared over Issei's head styled in silver letters accompanied by a jingle:
LEVEL UP
"No freaking way! You got to level up while I'm sitting at only 3 EXP away from leveling up!" Katase complained.
"Huh. My title changed. It's no longer Slumbering Whelp now." Issei said as he looked at his title.
