Hey everyone this is an AU of What If Universe's story Spider-man: Camp Cretaceous and Web of Chaos. Depending on how much support this short story I get I'll make a full story. Some of this will narrated by Mayday in that weird slanted I text.

On a quiet dirt road, a Compsognathus was creeping up on a rabbit when suddenly the ground started to shake and rumble. The rabbit took off, but the little dino just stood there, staring down the road at a cloud of dust heading his way.

The awesome woods of upstate New York, with birds chirping and the occasional dinosaur roar, are full of fun—well, for everyone except us.

A few seconds later, a Ford pickup zoomed past, sending the poor dino flying into the air and onto the back of the truck while it kept speeding down the road.

The girl driving the truck had pink long hair and blue eyes. She was a teenager rocking a white shirt and her mom's pink bomber jacket. She paired it with some ripped blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Next to her in the passenger seat was a preteen boy who looked like he was freaking out. He had short brown hair under a Yankees cap and bright blue eyes. He was rocking a red T-shirt with a black Yankees sweatshirt on top, gray shorts, and some brown muck boots.

You might be wondering who we are and how we got into this situation but that is a story for a different day. I'm Mayday Parker, and this guy next to me, about to lose it, is my brother Richie Parker. We're from New York City, and our parents are Peter and Brooklyn Parker. They were part of the Nublar Eight, the group that survived for six months after Jurassic World went down.

Mayday grabbed a radio while she drove and practically yelled into it "What is the situation back there!" The truck then began to shake violently for a few seconds while Mayday tried to stay on the road.

"M-Maday, is everything cool?" asked a little girl groggily from the backseat as she rubbed her eyes. "Yeah, Mary, just go back to sleep, pl-" Suddenly, the truck jolted hard as something slammed into it.

Behind them the door on the back of the cap slides open, and an Italian American teen pops his head in, shouting, "Can you speed the hell up? QPT-34 is still chasing us!"

"Shut up Joey I already have the pedal to the floor."

Richie finally calmed down for a moment and said, "I thought Dad took out all the cross-species in New York state." Joey quickly replied, "Well, he didn't, because look what's chasing us! Also, Mayday, you've got to do something fast before your wild cousin in the back jumps off to fight."

"Yeah, I'll figure something out soon, but have Richie switch with you," Mayday said, keeping her eyes on the road. "R-Really?" Joey replied, feeling a blush creep up because of his not-so-secret crush on her. "Yeah, but don't make it awkward."

Richie rolled down his window and, thanks to the new spider-like powers he genetically got from his dad, crawled out and onto the roof of the truck. Once he was out of the way, Joey climbed through the back cab window and hopped into the passenger seat.

Richie then hopped down into the bed of the truck where chaos was unfolding. He saw Joey's brother Ben Jr., hanging out in one corner with his pet baby Gallimimus. Over in another corner, the compsognathus from earlier was trying to hide. By the tailgate, there was a tall Asian American kid and a Mexican American kid trying to stop a Mexican American girl from jumping off the back, while a nerdy-looking African American kid was just watching the whole scene unfold.

Richie asks, "What's going on?" but no one answers until the African American kid named Maxy chimes in. "We've had a few close calls, but honestly, I think it's not the cross-species we should be worried about—it's Tina. She wants to jump off and fight it."

Richie glanced over at the girl being held back by the other two guys, worry spreading across his face. Then he spotted something behind them and shouted, "Watch out, Ricky!" Ricky, the Mexican American kid, turned just in time to see the QPT-34 charging at him. With quick reflexes, he extended his wolverine-like claws and stabbed the creature right as it was about to land in the truck. He managed to hurt it enough that it retreated into the woods.

Author note: The QPT-34 is a cross-species of a man and a velociraptor. It has the body like a man but with tough skin, stronger legs to make it go fast, and a tail like a raptor. They have 5 toes but the big toe is like a raptor's killing claw. They have the same head shape as a man but with a long snout that comes out like a raptor. The arms are very human-like with five fingers with very sharp fingernails.

Richie held his hand out to high-five his cousin when…

THUMP "AHHHHH"

Everyone wiped their heads around to the noise to see that another QPT-34 had landed into the bed of the truck and started to advance on Ben. Richie tried to shoot a web out of his web shooters but it was empty and he was too young to shoot webs out of his wrists.

Before he could think of anything else Tina went charging forward going past him and then started punching and clawing the cross-species with her wolverine-like claws.

The QPT-34 started fighting back clawing her with its deadly fingers which cut her open but she didn't mind at all because she self-healed very quickly.

Tina then drew the claw in her left foot which she kicked up sending a fatal blow to the QPT and sending it flying off the back of the truck.

After that everyone (except for Tina who still wanted to fight) sat down on the bed of the truck and took a moment to calm down and register what just happened.

"Well, I told you guys we should not have gone out," the Asian-American named Karl said.

"Shut up Karl this was your idea," Ricky said as he gave Karl a mean look.

As Joey sat in the cab, a creepy feeling washed over him. After moments of that uneasy vibe, he finally figured out what it was.

"Asset 06…"

"What!? It's not even sunset yet how or why is he after us?!" Mayday said in a panicked tone.

"I don't know man but whenever he is around everything goes Erie and quiet."

Asset-06 is one of the first original Carnotorus ever cloned in Jurassic Park and little did anybody know the original Carnotorus could camouflage and practically turn invisible. Robert Muldoon knew that it would be too dangerous to be taken to the first park so they kept it on Isla Sorna. Later in 1997, both teams were sent to Sorna (to either catch or document dinosaurs) and encountered the Carnotorus they learned after dark that Tyrannosaurus and velociraptors would not go into the Carno's territory after dark.

In 2002 when Ingen captured the Carnotorus from Sorna and brought them to Isla Nublar for Jurassic World which was being constructed. Again these dinosaurs were too aggressive and dangerous to be put in front of the public so Ingen made new ones that didn't camouflage. In 2018 when the dinosaurs were rescued from Isla Nublar he was among them and was among the dinosaurs who escaped the Lockwood manor. After years of escape and travel he made his territory in New York. Even though I can detect danger before it happens, Joey and his brother Ben can somehow easily detect a Carnotorus. Their family had tons of interactions with this species of dinosaurs specifically that even though they don't have superpowers their instincts can easily detect a Carnotorus.

"Take the wheel, Joey," Mayday said.

"W-What? I don't know how to drive"

Mayday shot a web at the pedal to keep it down and then started climbing out the window "Just keep us straight!"

Joey jumped into the driver's seat and grabbed the wheel, breathing heavily.

Up on the roof, Mayday was trying to see what was going on, but with how fast they were moving, her hair kept blowing in her face.

Her spider-sense kicked in, but it was too late. Asset-09 came barreling out of the woods and slammed into the truck from the side.

Time seemed to slow down for Mayday as she figured out her next move. She shot a web wall at the spot where she thought the truck would land. She nailed it, but the impact and speed of the truck made everyone spill out of the bed and land on the web, while the truck itself bounced off and flew off in a different direction.

The truck ricocheted 7 feet through the air before landing on the ground and rolling 6 feet.

Ben who watched this all happen from the web began to cry thinking his brother was dead and he turned around and hugged his pet dino close while sobbing.

Ricky and Richie were on the verge of tears until they saw the door spring open with a foot now visible. They heard a small gasp behind them and turned around to see that Ben saw the same thing as them.

After a moment, they looked back and saw Joey slowly crawling out of the smashed-up truck. Once he was on the ground, they noticed he was bleeding from his forehead, his left arm was now seriously broken and he was holding an unconscious Mary in his only good arm.

Richie and Tina took off running toward them, but they froze when Asset-06 burst out of the woods, mouth wide open, and headed straight for Joey. Just then, Mayday came swinging in from the trees and tackled the dinosaur, which was way bigger than her, slamming it down to the ground.

Asset-06 got up and charged at Mayday, who jumped over the dinosaur while shooting webs right at its face. Then, Mayday climbed a tree and launched a web at another one, using it to swing through the air and kick Asset-06 right in the face.

While this was happening Richie grabbed Joey and Mary and pulled them to safety. "Joey you ok man?" Karl asks Joey who holds his broken arm in pain.

"Does it look like he's ok?" Tima growls at him.

Out of the forest came another QPT-34 but before it could do anything to them a car came speeding out of the tree line hitting and knocking the cross-species unconscious.

The window was rolled down and inside were their camp counselors Masie Lockwood and Ella Keynes. "Get the hell in the car!" All of them made a mad dash to the car and got in.

Back with Mayday, she was able to blind asset-06 well enough that she ran to the car and got in.

"Gun it!"

And with that, the car drove out of the woods and onto the road where they sped back to the safety of camp.
