Hi folks,

This isn't an update, but an announcement to let you know I've decided to retire from this website. It's kind of sad — was my doorway into the world of fanfiction nearly twenty years ago (yes, I'm that old), but it's just too overrun with bots, scrapers, and scammers. As a writer who's been pouring their heart and soul into their hobby, getting a notification ( & hoping for some desperately wished-for feedback!) only to find it's yet another goddamn scammer - is seriously demoralizing and disheartening. I'm just done with it.

That said, I am not abandoning this series! You can find me on Archive of Our Own under the same username. I've already posted several more chapters over there and will continue updating as usual. To those of you who are sincere readers — thank you. I'm sorry if this causes you any inconvenience at all.
